Once upon a swap
It's been a couple of days since the library incident and our friends are now pushing forward and letting the past strengthen them so they can have a successful future. Right now our three friends are back at the market helping Eda open up her shop, well Luz is helping, King is busy trying to get the flag and Luke is just watching him fall while listening to music, and Y/n's and baby dragon was out.
King: Weh! [falls off the table] Stupid flag!
Luke: This is sad and entertaining to watch.
King: [points his finger] Silence you! No one shall mock me!
Luke: Uh-huh.
King started stomping his feet and wailing. When he does this Luz walks outside holding a ladder and a wooden sign.
Luz: Luke are you making fun of King again?
Luke: [looks away] Maybe?
King: Yes!
Luke: [looks at Luz] What are you doing anyway?
Luz: [smiles, puts the ladder down and climbs it] It's been a little slow around here, but I've got just the thing to attract customers.
She then puts the sign on top of the "HUMAN COLLECTABLES" sign and taps it. When she does the light glyphs that were around it starts to activate.
Luz: And who doesn't like their name in lights?
A fully winking face Eda appears next to the words "Eda the owl Lady's"
Luz: Is it too subtle?
Luke: [stares at the sign] Define Subtle?
?: Does subtle mean ugly?
The group turns their heads and see Boscha, Skara, and an Oracle track student are standing at the stand.
Luke: Oh great.
Luz: Hi Boscha! Hexsidians! See anything you like?
Boscha: Ew! No! [looks at Luke] Although maybe?
Luke: [sweat drops] (Oh boy.)
Boscha: I'm just here to take an ironic Penstagram next to your weird flashing trash sign.
Boscha summons her scroll and starts to take several pictures.
Luz: It's not funny, Boscha.
Boscha: What are you going to do? Spit your human venom on me?
King: You two have venom? Quick guys started melting faces!
Luz: [kneels down] Even if I could, it's not worth it. You wouldn't understand how to handle teens like her.
Luke: [kneels down] Also if I had venom [sly smile] I would abuse it so much.
Luz: [sweat drop] You're scaring me Luke.
King: [grabs Luz's hoodie] No, I'll show you what to do. [grunts, jumps onto the table] You will tremble before me!
The three students start to smile as they stare at him.
Boscha: Oh he is so cute!
She picks up and hugs King as she summons her scroll again and takes a picture adding a filter. Both King and Boscha had flowers on their heads, Boscha's flowers had eyes on top of them, and their eyes were shining.
Boscha: How much? I have to own him.
Luke: [pretends to think] How much you got?
Luz: Luke!
Luke: [holds his hands up] Alright King's not for sale [mumbles] sadly.
King: [jumps out of Boscha's arms] Besides you couldn't afford me, sister!
The group gathers around King as they all say aww to his adorableness.
King: [annoyed] That's the incorrect reaction!
Luke: But an accurate one.
Boscha: [turns her head towards Luke and walks up to him] You know if I can't have him maybe [gets in his face] I can have you.
Luke: [shrugs his shoulders] I don't if you want me.
Boscha: Oh I do, I need something hot to watch.
Luke: Well that would be a shame.
Boscha: [confused] How so?
Luke: Because [grabs her chin with his index] I wouldn't want to melt that pretty face of yours.
After he said that, Boscha's whole face went red as Luke pulled away with a sly smirk and winked at her. This made Boscha a stuttering mess. Just then Eda brought her nose out of the tent and started sniffing the air.
Eda: I smell an easy mark. [jumps out of the tent] Hey, kid! Can I offer you the latest fashions from... [magically dresses herself in horribly clashing clothes] the human realm?
Luke: I might not be into fashion but even I know how bad that looks [gets hit in the head by Eda] Ow!
Boscha: [recovers and looks at Eda while the others laugh] Yea! No.
The three kids start to leave the scene.
Eda: Well, [returns to her normal outfit] I hate her.
Luke: [shrugs] Eh she can be alright sometimes.
Luz: [smirks and nudges Luke] I notice you big Flirt.
Luke: [glares at Luz] Don't push it.
Eda: What did I miss?
Luke: Nothing.
Luz: Sure. Anyway teens can be sour, but I'm a little sweetie. Look what I made you! [points at the sign]
Eda: [panics] Luz! [takes the sign down]
Luz: Did I spell something wrong? Or did I spell something right?
Luke: [facepalms] Luz please stop.
Eda: Agreed. [wipes away the lights] You may be forgetting something, Luz. I'm kinda... [holds up her wanted poster] on the run! Remember? Every guard in town would be at my doorstep if I had my name in lights.
Luz: Well, I don't see anyone right now. Maybe you're just being paranoid. You're a powerful witch. Why hide when you can "poof" all your problems away with magic?
Luke: I got to agree with Luz here.
King: What does Luz know about problems anyway? All she has is dumb teen drama! She doesn't understand how hard some of us have it.
Luke: [raises an eyebrow] Come again?
Eda: You're pampered all day like a dang baby. How hard is that life?
King: Well, I don't know if you realized, but I'm not a baby!
Luz&Luke: Then why are you screaming like one?
King: My life is a living nightmare!
Eda: Well, there's only one thing to do when friends can't see eye to eye.
Luz: Hug each other till we pass out? [hugs King]
King: Fight to the death!
Luke: Ignore it til it resolves itself.
Eda: Nope Bodyswap!
King: Are sure you two don't spit venom?
Luke: Really wish I could right now.
Y/n POV
I am currently at the library doing some research of my dragon kind. Zack and the others are right. I should at least learn a little bit about myself so I can figure out what kind of person I am. I know a lot about humans so maybe it's time to learn about dragons. As I was walking around baby dragon started to wake up and started panting happily.
Me: Huh what is it buddy?
Amity: Y/n?
I turned around and saw Amity. For some reason my heart started to beat a little fast. Weird it's never done that, well only when I'm around Luz.
Me: Oh hey Amity, hows are you doing?
Amity: [blushes] Oh I'm doing fine just you know about to read to kids like always.
Me: Oh cool [scratches the back of my head] I forgot you do that.
Amity: [confused] Really? You saw me do that a few days ago.
Me: [chuckles nervously] Oh yea right.
Why is it so hard to talk to her now? Usually having a conversation with her is easy but now it is so hard. When I tried to come up with an answer I remember the time she kissed me on my cheek and my face started to heat up remembering that. Just then baby dragon jumped off my head and started rubbing Amity's leg.
Amity: [bends down] Aww I missed you two baby dragon. [rubs his back as he purrs. She giggles from this and looks at me] Anyway I was wondering [pokes her fingers together blushing] Do you want to help me read to the kids?
Me: Wait really? [She nods her head] *smiles*Of course.
Amity: [smiles but then get serious] You can't use that monster voice though.
Me: What why!?
Amity just gives me a 'are you serious look'
Me: Is it really that bad?
Amity gives me 'what do you think look'
Me: [sighs] Ok then.
Amity just smiles as both her and I make our way towards the kids section. We sat down as the kids started making their way inside.
Kid #1: Ms. Amity [points to Y/n] Who is that?
Amity: [gesture her hand to Y/n] This is Y/n. He is going to be my helper today.
Kid #2: [raises his hand] Ms. Amity, is he your boyfriend?
This made both me and Amity blush when he said that.
Amity: [shakes her hands] D-don't be ridiculous! H-He's just a good friend!
All I did was nod my head. Just then baby dragon appears and lands on Amity's lap and rests.
Kid #3: Wow, is that a Salamander!?
Me: [nods] Yep! He's my best buddy!
All the kids look at baby dragon with stars in their eyes asking if they could pet them. Amity calms them down and tells them that if they behave then they can pet him. Baby dragon started to make chirping sounds but I actually understood them.
Baby dragon: When did I turn into a toy for kids?
It was weird at first but I was kinda glad that I knew what he was saying at times. Anyway, Amity and I started to read to kids. When I did the monster voice Amity made sure I didn't go too far. By either squeezing my hand or just glaring at me. Honestly I preferred the second one. We finished reading and the kids said I was a good reader, that made me happy. Amity allowed the kids to pet baby dragon, as I told him not to burn anyway. Baby dragon sighs and agrees to it. We watch the kids start petting baby dragon. They eventually stopped and headed out leaving the three of us alone.
Me: [walks over and picks up baby dragon] Had a little too much petting pal.
Baby dragon: [weak] You have no idea.
Me: heheh [puts him on my head] Sorry pal.
Amity: [walks up to them] I guess that's my fault for suggesting it.
Me: Aw don't worry about it I'm pretty sure he didn't mine much.
Baby dragon: [weak] Speak for yourself.
I just started to laugh a little as I petted baby dragon on his head.
Amity: Oh yea what were you doing here by the way?
Me: Oh right I was doing some research [holds up the dragon book]
Amity: Research?
Me: I wanted to learn a little bit about my kind on my… Fathers side
Still going to take some time for me to get used to it.
Amity: I see. So how come you're just doing it now?
I looked down in sadness for a bit. Amity noticed when she was trying to take back what she said.
Amity: I'm sorry I didn't-
Me: No it's fine [looks at the book] I was scared. That I would find out that my kind were people who only cared about hurting others [looks down sad] I would be just like them.
Amity: Y/n.
I started to feel Amity put her hand on top of mine. I looked up and saw her staring at me with a caring smile.
Amity: Even if you find something you don't like you don't have to walk that path. You've shown that you want to walk your own path and I believe that you will.
This made me smile as I gave Amity a hug.
Y/n: Thank you some much Amity.
I felt her hug me back as we stayed like that for a bit… until we both realized what we both were doing and separated with blushes all over our face.
Y/n: [blushing] W-Well anyway I should go check on the others. I'll come back later.
Before I started walking I heard Amity say something.
Amity: Y/n! [I turned my head to her as she rubs her hair] I-If you w-want I could help you out.
Y/n: [smiles] I'd like that. Does tonight sound good?
Amity: [nods her head] Yes! I mean [coughs] Of course.
Y/n: Good [waves and walks away] See ya later Amity!
I start making my way back to the market when I slowly start to see Zack appear.
Zack: Oooohhh look at you!
Y/N: What are you talking about Zack?
Zack: [sly smile] Oh like you don't know! Having some "Alone" time with good old Amity!
Y/n: [confused] What are- [realizes and blushes] It's nothing like that she's just trying to help me out!
Zack: Uh-huh that's how it starts. I'm so proud of you, my student.
Me: Cut it out Zack besides I don't know how Amity feels about it.
Zack: Ohhh let's just say she won't mind.
Me: [shakes my head] Anyway I need to head back to the other's
Zack: Riiiight don't want to keep your other girlfriend waiting.
Me: [blushes] She's not my- [groans] Let's just go already!
Zack started to vanish, as Y/n started making his way back to the others. There is no way Amity feels that way right?
Amity POV
My heart wouldn't stop beating so fast. Did I just ask him out!? What no no no! It's not like that! All I'm doing is helping him out. There is no other reason! Right!? RIGHT!?
3RD POV
We cut back to Y/n walking back to the market with baby dragon on his head. They start to approach the stand as they see Eda setting up the shop.
Y/n: [approaches] Hey Eda sorry I'm late, had to do some stuff at the library.
Eda: [setting up the sign] Don't worry Y/n it's no biggie.
Call it weird but there was something off about Eda's voice. It sounded like someone else for a second.
Y/n: Uhh Eda you feeling alright there?
Eda?: [smiles] Of course whatever do you mean Y/n?
Y/n: [rubs his chin] Well your voice sounds a little different and your magic seems different as well.
Eda?: [giggles] I guess nothing can get past you huh?
That's what made Y/n suspensions grew cause he never heard Eda giggle, well at least not like this. Then baby dragon flew off my head and started staring at Eda and started happily barking at her.
Baby dragon: Luz! Luz!
Y/n: [shocked] Wait Luz!?
Eda(Luz): [turns around with a big grin] YEP IT'S ME! [waves] Hey Y/n!
Y/n was so confused that he started speaking gibberish.
Eda(Luz): [giggles] Ok I know you have a lot of questions, allow me to explain.
Flashback
Eda: I love a good body swap. It's like demonic possession with the ones you love.
Luke: And that is why I am not being a part of this.
Luz: Oh come on Luke being able to control others bodies will be fun!
Luke: Heck no.
Luz just pouts as Eda just pats her back.
Eda: Hey don't worry kid he'll miss out on all the fun.
Luke: Uh-huh sure.
Eda: Anyway let's get started!
Eda lifts her staff over her, King and Luz's head as Luke starts to back up a little bit to avoid the blast.
Luz: Wait is it too late to-
Eda: Body swap!
Eda spins her staff above their heads, a curtain of yellow light and smoke falling over them.
Luke: *cough* *cough* You guys ok?
Luz?: Did it work? I need a mirror. [runs into Luke with a grunt]
Luke: Ow! [rubs his head] Watch it Luz!
Luz?: I'm sorry Luke I didn't mean- [gets cut off when she turns her face to a mirror] Oh, my gosh. It worked! I'm so old... [grabs her ears] and pointy!
Luke: Wait Luz?
Eda(Luz): Yea I'm in Eda's body!
Luke: Then who's in-
Luke gets cut off when Luz's body starts walking in front of a full mirror.
Eda(Luz): Hot dog! It's me!
Luz(King): Yeah, it is. I'm the human now. Bow before my massive, meaty hands!
Luke: Ok [points to King] So if King's in Luz's body [points to Luz] and Luz's is Eda's body then that would mean-
Eda?: Ahem!
The group turns around to see King's body but with some of Eda's features.
King(Eda): How do I look?
Luz(King): I've got some... very confusing emotions right now.
Luke: You and me both pal.
King(Eda): All right, here's the deal. Whoever can prove their new body has the easiest life gets out of house cleaning duty. And you know what that means.
We then cut to Hooty rolling around in the mud giggling like crazy. We cut back to the others as the shuddered.
Luz(King): Won't be me. Life as a teen is a tyrant's dream! [to Luz] By the end of the day, I'll be ruling over your feeble demographic.
Luke: Uh-huh.
Eda(Luz): Well, I've got magic. Eda, don't be too mad when your inventory's gone and the guards are none the wiser. [accidentally shuts a beam of light that cause her to fall as the others give her a deadpan look]
King(Eda): Ha! That's cute. [hops off the table] If you need me, I'll be getting pampered on a vacation fit for a king.
Luz(King): My life's not a joke! [to Luz] But yours is. [pokes Luz's nose] Bap. [laughs and runs away]
Luke walks up to the falling Eda(Luz)
Eda(Luz): Can you follow him to make sure he doesn't do anything crazy?
Luke: [sighs] I'll follow, [starts walking] But no promises on the crazy.
End of Flashback
Y/n: Huh so I missed a lot huh?
Eda(Luz): Yep where did you go anyway?
Y/n was about to answer but was cut off by Zack.
Zack: Be careful of what you say Y/n.
Y/n: (What why?)
Zack: [sighs] You have a lot to learn about girls. Just tell her you were just at the library learning about your kind and nothing more.
Y/n: [confused] (Ok then?) I was at the library learning more about dragons.
Eda(Luz): Oh ok then did you learn anything.
Y/n: [shrugs] Not much.
Eda(Luz): [pats his head] Don't worry you'll find out.
Y/n: [smiles] Thanks Luz. So what are you supposed to do?
Eda(Luz) Well I'm going to show Eda that I can sell all her stuff and avoid getting caught by the cops. Want to help?
Y/n: Sure I don't mind.
Eda(Luz): [squeals and hugs Y/n] Oh thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Y/n just chuckles and hugs her back.
The scene changes to Luke and King. King is jumping to try to reach for the flag as Luke just watches. Eventually he was able to get the flag.
Luz(King): Weh! Not so high and mighty anymore. [throws it on the ground] I feel so alive! [yelps and falls inside the trash can.]
Luke: [unimpressed] Yea it only took you like 10 min.
Luz(King): [inside the trash can] Silence mortal! Beware of the king of humans!
Luke: Say that when you're outside the trash can.
Just then a water balloon landed on the ground confusing Luke as King exited out the trash can.
Luke: Where did that-
Luke gets cut off by tentacles growing out of the water causing both Luke and King to back up.
Luke: What the hell!?
Luz(King): [backing away] Oh, no! [shouts and ducks] The flag, it seeks revenge.
Luke: [deadpan look at King] Really?
The both of them then hear laughter, they turn their heads and see Skara and a potion track student. The potion track student throws a water balloon off the cliffed as it lands on the ground. The tentacles come out holding a civilian.
Man #1: [caught in tentacles] Help me! I'm a delicate man.
Luz(King): Teenagers.
King starts heading towards the teenagers as Luke just watches.
Luke: [sighs] Why me of all people? [chases after him]
Both King and Luke make it to the edge of the cliffed. King pulls himself up and starts crawling and making weird noises.
Luke: Is it wrong that I can see Luz actually doing this?
Luke lifts himself up on the clift as he follows King. As King was crawling and Luke was walking they turned and looked at the hexide students.
Student: [grabbing another water balloon from a bag] Hey, take this, society! [breaks the balloon over himself] Oh, no. [shouts while a tentacle grabs him]
Luke: That is just sad.
Luz(King): Agreed.
King crawls over to a building with signs reading "TREASURE SHACK." King sniffs under the curtain, then looks under it as Luke looks on the side of it. Amelia and Boscha are on their scrolls while the Oracle student is flying upside down with winged boots, attempting to do a sit-up.
Boscha: [scoffs] Give it up.
Student #2: I swear, I can do a sit‐up. I'm just having a bad day. [groans]
Boscha: Yea right [Amelia stands and throws a peace sign as Boscha goes over to take a picture of him struggling.]
Luke: That is also sad.
Luz(King): I'll show Luz how to rule over these doofuses.
Luke: [looks at King] Please tell me you're not doing what I think you're about to do.
Luz(King): [enters] Greetings! Er... [stands up] Greetings! Bow before your king of humans.
Luke: [facepalms and enter] Of course.
Student #2: [falls and grunts] Hey, nobody tells me what to do.
Boscha: Shut it.
Student #2: Yes Boscha.
Luke: (Way to stand your ground man)
Boscha: [typing on her scroll and walking up to them] New post: Loser human thinks she can hang out in our sacred Treasure Shack. Spoiler alert: She can't. [looks at Luke] But her hot friend can stay as long as he wants
Luke: (Why me?)
Student #2: [flying over] Yeah, get out of here, Goody Two‐Shoes.
Luz(King) Goody Two-Shoes huh? [takes his shoes and makes him fall] Hey Luke, want to cause some chaos?
Luke: [thinks for a minute and shrugs] *sigh* Sure why not?
King flies out of the Treasure Shack while Luke uses his magic to grow black wings
Luke: (Huh I think I'm getting better at this)
Both King and Luke grabbed the bag of water balloons from Skara and the other hexside student.
Luz(King): Hey, Impressionable youths! [everyone looks at King and Luke] Under my command, you could learn how to do some real damage. [nods his head at Luke as he sighs] Nyeh!
They both swing the bags around and throw them. Tentacles taller than the library spring forth. King and Luke spin around to face them slowly.
Luz(King): All hail, your new teen king [Luke coughs in his hand] oh and his right hand man.
Student #2: I didn't like her telling me what to do before, but now, I love it.
The others were amazed by what they did. Boscha was busy staring at Luke with his I don't care attitude as she blushed a bit. She broke out of it when she heard King continue talking.
Luz(King): Who wants to revolt with us today?
The group of kids started to cheer for them as they started flying towards them. All of them started to fly off.
Student #2: Uh, I'll catch up. [runs after them]
Boscha: Hold up. I did not give you permission to leave.
Luke: [turns around] Don't worry we'll give them back to you later!
Luz(King): All right, you acne‐encrusted hormone buckets. Let's go let out some teen angst!
Luke: Huh, maybe this will be fun.
The teens wreck havoc through town. The Oracle student shuffles the facial features of two witches waiting for the bus, making them both scream. A third lowers a newspaper to show that their face is already shuffled. King shrugs. The Oracle student shuffles their face to normal orientation. They scream.
Luke: Huh normal face.
Cut to a sign that reads "SELF STORAGE." Amelia takes off the "S" and the "STO." She and the others hide behind a booth as an elf approaches the sign now reading "ELF RAGE"
Elf: Yeah this sign gets it!
He grunts and rips his shirt off, then punches the sign and runs off. The teens laugh but Luke stops them.
Luke: [points] Uh guys?
The teens turn their heads and gasp as they run off when the elf returns.
Cut to them all laughing as Luke, holding a crow, shushes them.
Luz(King): [tries to hold in his laughter] This is going to be so funny.
Luke: [smirks] Time for others to feel my pain.
He dials a number on the crow, which caws. Cut to the Owl House, where a crow caws repeatedly. Hooty picks it up.
Hooty: Hoot House! [cuts back to town] Hooty Hooting.
The teens are still laughing. Luke tosses the crow into a megaphone and puts on his headphones.
Luke: Enjoy everyone.
Hooty: Oh, wow. I've been waiting for someone to call all day, and now, it's finally happened! We can talk for hours, and hours, and hours, and hours…
Everyone in the town starts to lose their minds. Some of them hold their hands over their ears, some dig a whole and plant their head in it, and others just repeatedly hit their head on a wall.
Cut to the teens walking through town, the Oracle student and Amelia holding bags of onion rings.
Luke: [hands in his pocket] Ah that was fun.
Luz(King): Heck yea it was! [laughs] I don't know what Luz is talking about. This life is a breeze.
Their moment was ruined when Boscha, with an angry expression, was right in front of them.
Boscha: Enough! [looks at Luke] I don't care how hot you are [looks at Luz] and I don't know how they forgot how much of a weirdo loser you are, but I'm going to help them remember.
Luz: Ooh, I'm so scared. [chuckles] She still thinks she has power over you guys. [the teens watch Boscha in fear] Guys?
Luke: [sighs] Oh boy.
Boscha: Luz, I challenge you to a race... around Dead Man's Curve.
She points to a winding road held up with bones. Lightning strikes the road, knocking a chunk of it off. Everyone gasps except for Luke.
Luke: (How are things like this allowed?)
Boscha: And we'll be racing on those. [points] Giant rat worms.
Luke: That's disturbing.
Skara: You don't have to do this, you know. We know humans are, like, super fragile.
Luke: [chuckles for a bit] Hehe hear that.
Luz(King): [slaps her hand] Don't baby me! [walks up to Boscha] Boscha, I accept your strange teenaged, coming‐of‐age challenge thing. But let's make it more interesting.
Luke: I have a bad feeling about this.
Luz(King): Winner gets the respect and rule over all the teens and loser never shows their face again!
Boscha: Fine by me [looks at Luke] but if I win I get your teenage friend.
Luke: Wait what King don't you-
Luz(King] Deal!
Luke: Gotdamn it King.
Boscha: [walks towards the dead man cave] See you there [looks at Luke and winks] and i'll see you later [blows a kiss at him]
Luke shivers as King was about to make his way there but was stopped by Luke.
Luke: Why the hell did you get me involved in this!?
Luz(King): Don't worry Luke I won't lose to some inferior teen lifeform. [begins to walk] Besides it's not like you lose at all.
Luke: I you [sighs and walks behind him] just win damn it.
Cut to Dead Man's Curve as one of the bones supporting it crumbles. King shoves one of the rat worms to the starting line where Boscha is already sitting.
Luke: Oh I'm so getting sold.
Boscha: [smirks] This is going to be too easy. [looks at Luke] Can't wait to enjoy our little session together handsome [makes a kissy face]
Luke: (King I swear to everything I will kill you if you lose!)
Amelia: On your mark...[King climbs onto his rat worm as Boscha smirks at him.]Get set…[bites into the onion ring.]
Boscha's rat immediately takes off as King's rat doesn't.
Luke: [facepalms] I'm doomed.
King: Let's go! [nothing] Worm minion, I said go![He smacks the worm's tail. It screams and takes off.]Stop! I said stop! [screaming]
Luke: [watches] (Hopefully Luz won't be too mad at me if her body is covered in bruises.)
King's rat worm rolls down Dead Man's Curve as King rides it backwards. Boscha takes the turns expertly while King's bounces off of them. Despite that, he catches up.
King: This is how the cool kids ride. Super backwards. On purpose.
Boscha growls. She faces forward and gasps, pulls her rat worm to a stop. King speeds past.
King: Yes! Say bye‐bye to your popularity, Boscha.
Boscha: [waves mockingly] Bye‐bye.
Luke: [yells] Idiot turn around!
King turns around and sees a caution sign with blinking worms. He yelps and tries to stop his rat worm, but it's too late. He plows into the caution sign and plummets, destroying the Treasure Shack.
King: [falls off the rat worm] Ow.
The teens make their way towards Boscha as they look down at the destroyed Shack.
Skara: Not the Treasure Shack!
Luke: [sighs] Why King?
Student #2: I don't know how to process this. Someone tell me what to do!
Luke: (I can tell you what you can do.)
Boscha: [smirks] I know what to do. [everyone looks at boscha] You three go after her. [walks over to Luke and grabs his arm] I'll make sure he doesn't escape.
Luke: (Oh please like these idiots would-)
Teens: Yes Ma'am!
Luke: (Idiots.)
King starts to get up and notice the teens were heading right for him.
Luz(King): [scared] Uhh Luke a little help!?
Luke: hmm (Help the demon that got us into this mess or stay back and see how things play out) [acts] Oh no I've been caught [thumbs up] Good luck!
King gives Luke a glare but then starts to run away as the teens follow him. Leaving Luke and Bosha by themselves.
Luke: So are you going to let go of me or
Boscha: Oh don't you remember I own you know.
Luke: Funny cause that was if you one and last I checked you both didn't finish your race.
Boscha: True but [wraps her arm around his] I don't care.
Luke: Figures.
Boscha: I am curious though what is your relationship to that human?
Luke: (I guess I'll play along.) [sighs] She's just a friend.
Boscha: [smirks] Really huh?
Luke: Yea and I'm guessing if she was you would try to take me from her huh?
Boscha: Handsome and smart. I like that.
Luke: You sure you want a human like me by your side?
Boscha: [pretends to think] Hmmm lets just say you caught my eye.
Luke: Which eye?
Boscha: [giggles] Very funny. Now are you going to listen to what I'm going to say?
Luke: [raises his eyebrow] depends what do you want?
Boscha: [gets in his face] You to be mine.
Luke: (huh I guess I should take the wheel for a bit.) [smirks] I see [uses his free hand to grab her chin with his index finger and thumb]
Boscha: [blushes] What are you?
Luke: What you said you wanted me to be yours I'm just making it official.
Boscha: H-how so?
Luke: [smirks] By giving you a kiss.
This made Boscha go full red. Sure she was trying to seduce him to be with her but she didn't think it would work this quickly. This caused her to start stuttering.
Luke: Aww what's wrong demon got your tongue?
Boscha: [blushing] I you
Luke: You know [gets in her ear] you're really beautiful like this.
Boscha had no words. Was her charm really working this well?
Luke: Welp [brings his face closer to hers] how about that kiss?
This caused Boschato go wide eyed as he was slowly bringing his face closer to hers. He was so close that she could feel his breath on her lips. She closed her eyes as she waited for the kiss to happen until.
Skara: Uh Boscha?
Boscha opens her eyes and looked around trying to figure out what happened.
Student #2: You ok?
Boscha: W-what just happened?
Skara: Well we tried going after the human but she got away. When we got back we saw you with your eyes closed and lips puckered. What happened?
Boscha was trying to figure that out herself. How did this happen? She was here watching over… HIM!
Boscha: [blushes bright red angry] HE IS SO DEAD!
This made the other teens jump scared.
Boscha: [looks at them] Follow me! We are going to find those humans and rip them limb from limb!
Teen: [salutes] Yes Ma'am!
The group of teens fly off to look for the two friends. Unknown to them Luke was hiding in the shadows, as he slowly arose from it he watched them fly away.
Luke: [smirks] That was fun, she is going to kill me when she finds me [walks away] So I should probably avoid that for a while. Though I should go look for King before Luz kills me.
Meanwhile with Luz and Y/n.
Eda(Luz): Whew! Okay, let's try this again. And strut, strut, strut. [grunts]
She falls against a box and knocks over a lamp. Y/n walks over and offers her a hand. She takes it and stands up.
Eda(Luz): Thanks Y/n [looks at her heels] Seriously how does Eda walk in these?
Y/n: [shrugs] I don't know I figured you would know how to walk in those Luz.
Eda(Luz): No I like shoes not heels. [looks at the broken lamp] Oh, no. What have my heels done? Wait a second. I'm a ding dang witch!
Y/n: Uhh Luz are you sure that's a good idea?
Eda(Luz): [pats Y/n's head] Trust me I got this.
She draws a spell circle at the lamp, blasting herself into the air. She lands behind the table with a yelp. Y/n watches and runs over to Luz.
Y/n: Luz are you ok!?
Eda(Luz): [dizzy] Thank you Azura I'll gladly accept that magic staff [shakes her head] Boy, Eda is powerful.
Without warning Luz lift up her hand at Y/n as she accidentally shoots magic energy at Y/n. The scene changes to Luz putting on mittens with her index finger sticking out in each hand. Y/n is seen with bandages and bandaids as he rubs baby dragon's back.
Eda(Luz): Again I'm so sorry Y/n.
Y/n: [waves his hand] Don't worry about it Luz I'm fine.
Eda(Luz): [smiles and hugs him] Thank you. [lets go] Okay, let's try this one more time.
She draws a spell circle over the lamp, fixing it and giving it human legs.
Y/n: Nice, weird but nice.
Eda(Luz): [gasps] I made magic with my hands! [jumps]
Customer: [looking at the lamp] Ooh, so unnecessarily extravagant. I'll take it.
Eda(Luz): Zippo swappo. Sold to the savvy shopper. [She draws a spell circle and the lamp walks off. The man follows it, tossing Luz a snail.]
Y/n: [rubs baby dragon] Hey look at that Luz you made your first sell.
Eda(Luz): I did, didn't I! [squeals] Okay, magic hands, let's see what else we can magically magic.
With a snap of her fingers, a giant neon sign and spotlights appear at the stand. She is now wearing a top hat reading "EDA the Owl Lady."
Y/n: [whistles] Got to say I'm impressed Luz. You really are good at this.
Eda(Luz): [blushes] Thanks Y/n. Now lets do this. Step right up and feast your eyes on the marvels of the human realm!
Here yelling was able to attract a few customers.
Customer #1: Oh, what is this?
Customer #2: Where did the other stand go?
Customer #3: Your lights are too bright, and I forgot what I came here for.
Eda(Luz): Was it for laughter? [magics a feather duster to tickle him]
Customer #3: [laughing] Joy! So painful. [hands her fistfuls of snails] I'll take two for my enemies.
Y/n: [sweat drops] He plans to kill his enemies
Eda(Luz): With laughter.
A centaur walks up and points to his blank human face. Luz uses a marker to draw him a face. The centaur cries with joy and piles the table high with snails. A baby wails in a carriage. A giant pacifier appears in its mouth. The baby's parent dumps an entire coin purse onto the table. Various customers leave the stand.
Eda(Luz): Thank you! Come again!
Y/n: Got so say Luz you really know how to sell products.
Eda(Luz): [smiles] Thanks so much Y/n [tosses the staff and catches it] There's a little something for everyone. Take it from me, Eda, the Boiling Isles' gift to magic.
?: Is that right? You're the famous Eda the Owl Lady?
Baby dragon starts to growl a bit which concerns Y/n.
Eda(Luz): That depends. Are you a fan... [reaches into the top hat and pulls out flowers] of magic?
?: No, but I am a fan of... [takes cloak off] the law.
Flower: Oh no! [wilt and die]
The guard cuffs Luz.
Guard #2: [approaches the stand] We were finally able to catch you in the act. All thanks to this little light show of yours.
Y/n: [stands up] Hey [the guard look at Y/n] You better let her go! [takes out his sword as baby dragon is beside him growling]
Guard #1: You're under arrest too Dragneel!
Y/n: [smirks] Well if you want me come get me.
Eda(Luz): Y/n don't worry I got this. Gentlemen, whaddya say we forget this whole thing ever happened? Amnesia spell!
A giant pacifier appeared in the second guard's mouth. He narrows his eyes and Luz as Y/n just facepalms.
Eda(Luz): Uhhh let me try this a [draws a circle] Amnesia spell!
This time some chains came out but instead of hitting the guard it ties up Y/n forcing him to fall down on the ground as he drops his sword.
Eda(Luz): Guhh! One more time! [draws a circle] Amnesia spell!
Now some ice hits baby dragon, freezing him in place.
Y/n: [groaning] Luz please stop.
The scene changes to a police station. A camera shutters, and Luz is standing in front of a height chart holding a prisoner number card. Y/n then walks in still tied up as the camera takes a picture of him.
Camera monster: [coughs up the pictures] This is some of my best work. Really captures the shame.
Y/n: Says you... Do I still look good?
Owlbert and Y/n are taken by a guard. Owlbert chirps in protest as the guard puts a ring around his wings.
Y/n: Hey is that really necessary!
The guard pushes Y/n and throws Owlbert and baby dragon into the cage.
Guard #3: Yeah, you two are going away for a long time, you filthy criminals.
Eda(Luz): Y/n! Owlbert! This is all a big mistake. [led into an interrogation room] You're gonna laugh when I explain.
Y/n just growls at the guard as Owlbert hoots nervously. Y/n tries to burn the chains off but no matter what he does it won't burn off.
Y/n: (Damn Luz! What did you make this chain out of!?)
Cut to a hallway, where Emperor's Coven guards are drinking water. A shadow passes over them.
Guard #3: [gasp] Is that really her?
Guard #4: Oh no. This is not good.
Guard #1: Hey, you gotta take that thing out before someone sees you.
Guard #2: I like it, it calms the nerves.
Lilith reflection appears in the one-way mirror. The guard sees her and gets up as the other guard spits out the pacifier.
Guard #1: Madame Lilith, to what do we owe this honor?
Lilith: Word reached me that you captured my sister and the son of Igneel. I'll take care of my sister. You can do what you please with the son Igneel.
Guard #1: But Madame, they're going straight to the Conformatorium. I have the order right here.
The guards pull out the orders as Lilith burns them with blue fire.
Lilith: The orders have been changed.
Lilith starts making her way out. When she does she passes by Y/n's and owlborts cell.
Lilith: So son of Igneel it seems my sister has captured you.
Y/n: Nah she just had a little trouble with her magic.
Lilith: [chuckles] Oh child you should know my sister is far more skilled with her magic.
Y/n: I well ok I give you that one.
Lilith: I must say I am glad, she has made the right decision in turning you in.
Y/n: [confused] Huh why?
Lilith: As if you don't know.
What Y/n noticed there was a hint of anger in her voice when she said that. Lilith begins to walk away before saying one last thing to Y/n.
Lilith: [turns her head] Enjoy rotting away in the conformatorium [turns back away] Dragneel.
Y/n POV
Geez what was her problem? What don't tell me my dad probably has something to do with this? *sighs* Why do so many people hate my dad so much? Anyway, no time to think about that. I need to find a way to get out of here and help Luz. Suddenly I heard the door open to reveal a guard.
Guard: Alright Dragneel time for you to be sent to the conformatourim where you will be handled by the emperor.
He approached me as he picked me and baby dragon up. Then started carrying us towards the exit of the police station. That's when I had enough. I bit the guard on the back which caused him to lose his grip on me as me and baby dragon fell on the ground. I landed face first. Ow! That hurt. I got up and looked around and saw guards circling me.
Guard #2: Alright Kid this can go easy or
Guard #3: You could die.
Guard #2: What no I mean go easy or hard.
Guard #3: [scratches his head] Oh sorry.
Damn if only I can get my hands free then I can beat these guys.
Zack: Use the sword.
Me: (What how?)
Zack: Open up your palm and visualize the sword in it.
I closed my eyes and focused on visualizing the sword in my right hand.
Guard #4: Giving up, kid.
Me: [smirks] Nah. [the sword appeared in my hand as I threw it up and let it slice the chains off me] Just needed to get free.
The guards were shocked but were still ready to fight me. I got into a fighting stance and was ready to take them until an explosion happened out of nowhere that caused a lot of rumble to fall on top of us. After a few seconds I got out of the ruble and coughed up a storm.
Me: *coughs* What the *coughs* was that?
I realized something where is baby
Baby dragon: Hey Y/n.
I looked to my left to see baby dragon barking and wagging his tail.
Me: uhhh how?
Baby dragon: Oh I just wanted to see how things play out.
Me: [deadpan look] So you could have broken out of the ice at any time.
Baby dragon: [nods his head] Yep.
I just sigh and rub his head when I hear something.
Eda(Luz): Y/n! Baby dragon! Where are you!?
Me and baby dragon started running and saw Luz holding Owlbert. I also noticed a giant hole in the wall.
Eda(Luz): Guys! [runs up and hugs me and Baby dragon] I'm so so sorry you guys got caught because of me!
Me: [rubs her back] It's ok Luz. Lets just hurry and get out of here.
Luz nods as we all start running out of the police station.
3RD POV
As the group start making their way out Lilith gets up covered in cuts and bruises as she looks at them with anger.
Eda(Luz): Okay, if I were Eda and Eda is King, where would I be? Ah! This thing's so confusing.
Y/n: I agreed maybe if we keep running we'll find them.
Lilith: After them!
Both Eda and Y/n turn around and start backing up as Y/n had his sword out ready to fight them. Then suddenly shadows started to appear out the ground attacking Lilith and the guards.
Y/n: Wait shadow's *gasp* That could mean
Luke: Sup guys.
The two turn around and see Luke with his finger up smiling at the two friends and baby dragon.
Y/n: Luke! [runs up and hugs him]
Luke: Ehh physical contact.
Eda(Luz): Wait. [looks around] Where is my body!?
Luke: [pushes Y/n off and scratches the back of his head] You see what had happened was-
Before Luke could finish the group hears the sound of glass. They turn their heads and see both Eda and King who are in some kind of cafe. King's body is wearing some kind of bee outfit while Luz's body is wearing a shirt that says volunteer.
King(Eda): Kids! Bring my dang body over here.
Eda(Luz): Eda!
The group starts to head over towards them. Y/n was about to punch the glass until Luz stopped him.
Eda(Luz): Hold on I got this! [draws a circle]
As soon as she finishes nothing happens until Luke looks inside to notice one of their lamps grows legs and has several other lamps hanging out of it. Both Y/n and Luke give Luz a deadpan look.
Eda(Luz): [chuckles nervously] Heheh maybe you should do it.
Y/n then breaks the window getting the womens who work their attention.
King(Eda): Hi.
The group starts to run off as the women watch.
Roselle: [gasps] After them!
Dottie starts to growl and starts chasing them. The group starts running out of an alleyway into main street.
Luz: What weird stuff did you get my body into?
Luke: Trust me you don't want to know!
The group then sees Lilith and the guards, with a guard dog, staring dagger at the group.
Lilith: There you are!
King(Eda): I've got the same question!
The group was about to start running until they got caught off by Boscha and her team. The noticed Boscha was a little red but with anger.
Boscha: [points at Luke] You! You're dead!
Luz(King): Crap I forgot about those guys! [looks at Luke] Also why is he mad at you!
Luke: Long story! Right now we need a plan!
King(Eda): All right. Did everybody learn a valuable lesson about experiencing each other's hardships?
Luz&King: Yes!
King(Eda): Good, let's end this nightmare. [takes her staff] Body swap!
Y/n, Luke and baby dragon stepped back as they avoided getting swapped. Everyone returns to their own bodies. Eda is still wearing the bee costume, though it immediately rips off. King is still in the volunteer shirt and Luz takes off the oven mitts.
King: My body! My glorious little body!
The group smile as Eda's hair rips off the bee clothes and Luz starts taking off the gloves.
Lilith: Sister. Time and again I've offered you my help, yet you foolishly run back to your worthless life. I'm tired of trying, Edalyn. Your days of running are over! [looks at Y/n] Same to you Dragneel!
Y/n: Geez what the hell did I do to you!?
Lilith: What hasn't your family name done to me and my sister!?
Y/n: [confused] What!?
Eda: That's enough! It's time for this nonsense to end! Body swap! [She spins her staff and directs the beam at everyone while Y/n, baby dragon, Luke, Luz and King duck.]
As the dust disappears the group see that Eda has made everyone except the group swapped bodies. The group watches all the panic happen as they all slowly start to back up.
King: Are they going to be ok?
Eda: [does a so and so hand] Eh?
Luke: I'll take that as a no.
Luz: Eda, I just wanna say that things can be more complicated than you think. But with you guys, it all feels a little less mixed up.
Eda: [smiles] Aw, that's sweet, kid. Now, let's never speak of this again.
The group: [nods their head] Agreed!
Eda, King, and Luz get up on her staff as Y/n and Luke make fire and dark wings and fly beside her.
Luz: [amazed] Wow! When could you guys do that!?
Luke: Let's just say a lot of practice.
Y/n: [nods his head and carries baby dragon] Let's get out of here.
The group starts making their way out of the scene. The scene changes to the group flying back as a full moon is behind them.
Luz: So wait, who is going to clean hooty? It's getting… dire.
With hooty.
Hooty: Guys? Today's my monthly cleaning. Hoot, hoot. I'm 20% mucus, but don't let that stop you. C'mon, I have so many hard‐to‐reach spots that need swabbing!
Back to the group
Luz: Maybe if we all work together we could‐‐
King Eda&Luke: Not it!
Luz: Aw man.
Y/n: [chuckles] Don't worry I'll help.
Luz: [smiles] Thanks Y/n.
Timeskip
After a horrible clean section of Luz and Y/n cleaning Hooty, Y/n starts to get ready to head out to meet Amity at the library.
Zack: Aww would you look at you going on your first date.
Y/n: [sighs] For the final time Zack it's not a date she is just helping me learn more about my kind.
Zack: [nods his head] Uh-huh sure.
Baby dragon starts to walk up and rubs on Y/n.
Y/n: [bends down and rubs his head] Sorry buddy but it's just going to be me and Amity ok?
Baby dragon: *bark bark* What but I want to come to.
Y/n: I know buddy but-
Y/n stops when he sees baby dragon doing puppy eyes.
Baby dragon: *whimpers* Please Y/n I want to come.
Zack: [does puppy eyes] Let us come Y/n.
Y/n: [looks at Zack] What the Zack you are already coming with me!
Zack: I know I just wanted to help baby dragon out.
Y/n: [sighs] You can come baby dragon.
Baby dragon start to chirp and runs around in happiness as Y/n just chuckle.
After the little fiasco starts making his way down staries as he approaches the door.
Luz: Y/n.
This made Y/n jump in a panic. He turns around and sees Luz sitting on the couch rubbing Kings back with Luke sitting there reading a book.
Y/n: Guys what are you still doing up?
Luke: Eh just catching up on some reading.
Luz: I was about to go to sleep but I had a lot on my mind. Where are you going?
Y/n: I well was just going to the library.
Luke: [confused] This late at night?
Y/n: Yep you know got to get some reading done love the library.
Luz: [walks up to Y/n] Strange back at home you never were a fan of the library.
Y/n: W-well that was the human library this is the boring but the boiling Isle is more fun [chuckles nervously]
After he says this Luz just narrows her eyes at him as Luke just raises his eyebrow. Y/n begins to sweat and dashes outside.
Y/n: Don'twaitup! I'llbebackhomelaterbye! [summons flame wings and dashes into the air and leaves]
Luz: [watches] Y/n! [sighs] Darn it. [looks at Luke] Did you buy any of that?
Luke: Nope. [looks back at his book] But he wasn;t lying though the direction he's going is the library.
Luz: Well I guess but I wonder why he was so nervous to tell us?
Luke: Yes I wonder.
Y/n POV
I was currently flying in the air with baby dragon on my head.
Me: Can you explain to me why I can't tell them that I'm meeting Amity at the library?
Zack: So you want to explain to Luz why Amity was there with you?
Me: Of course I'm pretty sure she would understand.
Zack: [sighs] You got a lot to learn about girls Y/n.
Me: [confused] What?
Zack: Nothing, you're approaching the library.
I look down and see the library. I also see Amity looking around waiting for me. I slowly start to making my way down to her
3RD POV
Amity was walking back and forth as she was waiting for Y/n to show up.
Amity: Ok calm down Amity it's not a date. You're just helping a friend out nothing more.
Y/n: Hey Amity!
Amity looks up in the sky and sees Y/n slowly flying down to her with his fire wings out.
Amity: [amazed] Whoa.
Y/n: [lands on the ground as his fire wings disappeared] Hey Amity.
Amity: [slowly waves] Hey. Uh how did you do that?
Y/n: Oh right [rubs his head] I kinda figure out that I can manipulate my fire and create different types of things.
Amity: Amazing.
Y/n smiles from the compliment. Baby dragon jumps off of Y/n head and walks up and rubs himself on Amity.
Amity: [giggles] I missed you two. [bends down and rubs baby dragon]
Y/n: Yea he really wanted to come. Sorry if that bothers you.
Amity: Oh don't worry I don't mind [picks up baby dragon and rubs him as he purrs]
Y/n watches this and smiles.
Amity: [looks at Y/n] You ok?
Y/n: [shakes his head] What oh sorry its just [scratches his cheek and blushes] You just look so cute when you do that.
Amity: [blushes] Uh w-well thank you Y/n.
The two stood there awkwardly until Amity spoke up.
Amity: [coughs in her hand] So shall we.
Y/n: [chuckles] Yes ma'am.
Amity giggles at this as they start to walk in. As they were making their way around the library they were walking to were Amity secret room is.
Y/n: uhh Amity isn't this?
Amity: Well I just figured we wanted to do it more private so we didn't get distracted by anything.
Y/n: I see.
Amity pulls out a book as the room door starts to open to reveal the dragon book as before.
Amity: I also kinda try to look for more books but this is the only one I could find sorry.
Y/n: [pats her shoulder] Hey it's fine it better then nothing let's get started.
Amity: [nods her head] Right.
The two started making their way towards the table as they began reading through the book.
Luz POV
I was sitting there with Luke as I had two thoughts on my: 1. Where did Y/n go and the second one is-
Luke: Worried about Y/n?
Me: [breaks out of my thoughts] What no I mean yes I mean [sighs] Its complicated.
Luke: [closes the book] Well I'm not going to get much reading done so talk to me.
Me: Well [sighs] Ok remember when we switch bodies.
Luke: Yes I was there watching over King.
Me: I know [narrows her eyes] Good job by the way.
Luke: I try anyway continue.
Me: Anyway I got captured by the guards and I had a talk with Eda's sister.
Luke: Lilith?
Me: Yea she said some things about Y/n and his father.
Luke: What? What did she say?
Me: Well
Flashback
I was sitting there in the interrogation room waiting to see what would happen to me, that is when she appeared.
Lilith: Hello, Edalyn.
Eda(Luz): Oh, thank goodness! A familiar face. You're Eda's sister, right? Is it Libby? No. Limby...
Lilith: Your show of affection is touching. Do you know why you're here?
Eda(Luz): Well, as I was telling the guard, this is just a classic Freaky Fraturdaymix‐up.
Lilith: Sister, [unfurls a lengthy scroll] the charges against you are long and many. Operating a stand without a permit, owning a hocus without a pocus…
Eda(Luz): Yeah, I think that list goes on for a while.
Lilith: These charges are serious. There's no more running away, Edalyn.
Eda(Luz): I know. I can't just "poof" my problems away.
Lilith: [in a lighter tone, holding Luz's shoulders] But we can. You getting caught was clearly a cry for help. Even better you turned in our mortal enemy the son of the dragon slayer Igneel. Join the Emperor's Coven, like we dreamed about when we were girls.
Eda(Luz): Eda wantedto be in the Emperor's Coven? [realized what she said] Wait mortal Enemy?
Lilith: Don't tell me you forgot that cursed Dragon slayer is the scorn to both of us [looks away] that man only cared about one thing being the best. He is the reason why our family is torn apart.
Me: But Y/n isn't anything like that.
Lilith: I'm not talking about the boy Edalyn I'm talking about… Igneel.
Me: Igneel tore Eda and Lilith apart?
Lilith: [takes Luz's hands] He hurt you Edalyn and since that boy cares his blood it's only a matter of time before he hurts you as well.
Me: But Y/n would never!
Lilith: Don't be so blind Edalyn. The boy is only pretending to care about your feelings. Once you least expect it he will betray you and leave you to die just like him. That is why I took care of the boy and his pet and ordered them to be shipped to the conformatorium.
My eyes widened with horror when I heard that.
Me: You what!?
Lilith: Worry not Edalyn we won't have to worry about that boy and his bloodline ever again.
I was freaking out on the inside as I heard this. I had heard enough and was trying to get out of there.
Me: No! I won't let you do this!
Lilith: Edalyn please listen!
Me: No you listen Y/n is nothing like his father he is the kindest most caring person I have ever met! [Draws a circle] and I won't let you or anyone else take him from me!
I might have forgot that I drew a circle with Edas body without knowing how to control her magic.
Me: Uh-oh.
That is when I blew a giant whole in the cell.
Flashback Over
Luke: Wow, did you talk to Eda about this?
Me: I tried but when I told her about it she told me not to worry about it. [looks down] I'm just worried. What if something bad happens to Y/N? What if they try to come and take him away?
Luke: [pats Luz's head] Don't worry Y/N is strong he can take care of himself.
Me: But-
Luke: And even if he can't he got us to help him right?
I was going to say something but I decided to trust Lukes words. It still worries me to know that Y/N's dad had a part to do why Eda and Lilith don't talk anymore, but I thought that if Eda really hated Igneel then she would have hated Y/N as well. She still does her best to take care of him and us so she doesn't hate him then.
Me: [smiles] Yea I guess you're right?
Luke: [gets up and heads upstairs] Welp now that that's over I'm heading to bed I need some sleep.
Me: Really you barely did anything today.
Luke: And I plan to keep it that way.
Luke started to walk away until he turned his head and looked at me. Oh great he's going to tease me again.
Luke: Try not to stay up too late.
That actually caught me off guard I thought he was going to tease me about Y/n again.
Me: Oh umm yea I won't.
Luke: [walks up stairs, around the hall] You got to have your rest so no one takes your Y/N.
And there it is.
Me: [blushes] LUKE!
As I started to calm down after that I started thinking more about Luke's resonant behavior as well. Usually when there is a chance to tease me and Y/N he would always go right for it, but lately it's been pretty later than usual. Come to think of it he also hasn't really been his same moody self either, he's a lot more cheerful as well. I can't tell if it's a good thing or a bad thing.
Me: [lays down on the couch] So many things are happening. So many questions to answer.
I looked at the ceiling and closed my eyes. I then felt something sitting on my lap. I looked up and saw King sleeping. For some reason this made all my thoughts disappear as I just smiled and rubbed his head.
Me: Hopefully things will still work out.
3RD POV Back at the library
Amity and Y/N were sitting outside of the stairs as they finished their research on dragons. They were able to learn about the different types of dragons that lived in this land. Like Water, steel, wind, etc. There was basic knowledge that Y/N already knew about controlling one's emotions. They try to learn more about fire dragons but when they read the information they were horrified. Turns out fire dragons are one of the most dangerous dragon types. Mainly due to their hot temper and failure to control their of this they have been known to take lives and burn everything in their way. When they try to figure out how Igneel and his family were the rulers of the dragons all records they tried to find were burned away… literally. Sad to say the results they were looking for weren't too good. Amity was looking up at the stars and Y/N had his head down with baby dragon trying to comfort him.
Amity: Y-Y/N are you-
Y/N: Amity.
Amity turns her head and looks at Y/n.
Y/N: Tell me the truth.
Amity: Y/N?
Y/N: Did I deserve to be born or was I just a mistake?
Amity: H-How could you say that!?
Y/N: Back home I am known as a freak. Coming here I found out why I was. From what we read my kind only knew two things: Burn and destroy. Is it a matter of time before I follow that same path? Was it even a good thing for me to be-
Smack. A loud slap was heard through the night. Amity had slapped Y/N across his face. Y/N holds the side of his face as he looks at Amity who had tears in her eyes.
Amity: Don't you ever say that again!
Y/N: But
Amity: [shakes her head] No you listen to me! Just because we read about how your kind used to be doesn't mean you have to follow what they are! If you were just like them then you would have killed everyone here but you didn't! Because you care about others just like they cared about you! Y-You even wanted to be my friend, you saved me from thinking I needed to be this perfect witch and step over those who were lower than me! If I had never met you I would still be the same stuck up witch! [tears start to fall as she holds Y/N shoulders] So don't ever say that you shouldn't have been born. You saved me Y/N and you made so many people happy and helped them without asking for anything in return. [hugs him] So please never say that again.
Y/N was taking back what Amity said as tears started to fall from his eyes as he hugged Amity back. He had almost forgotten he had people that still loved to be around him, loved to be with him and loved him in general. As the two finished their emotion session Y/N looked Amity in the eye.
Y/N: [wips the tears from his face] Thanks Amity I guess I needed a reminder of the people who still don't see me as a monster.
Amity: [holds his hand] No problem. Always remember people still care about you. I care about you Y/N.
Y/N was taken back by what Amity said as he smiled and had a light blush on his face. Amity on the other hand realized what she said and pulled back with a deep blush.
Amity: [panics] I-I-I mean as friend obviously. J-J-just know that y-your not a-alone I-I will be there for you- US! WE! WE WILL BE THERE! [chuckles nervously]
Y/N was confused for a bit but still smiled anyway to know she still will be there for him. Amity turns around embarrassed.
Amity: W-well I should get going back home.
Y/N: Wait Amity! [Amity turns and looks at Y/N] If you want I can carry you back home.
Amity: [blushing mess] I what I don't haha I'm fine what carrying?!
Y/N: Uhhh ok is that a yes?
Amity: YES! Wait no! What is the right answer!?
Y/N: [chuckles] Ok I'll carry you.
Y/N walks up, picks up Amity in his arms, summons his fire wings, and flies off with her into the night baby dragon followed closely behind them. Amity was first taking back at this action until she just let it happen. She looked around and saw how high they were and was nervous. She put her arms around Y/N's neck and held him tight.
Y/N: [chuckles] Don't worry I got you.
Amity still held on tight but knew he wasn't lying to him as she enjoyed the night sky. She looked down and realized how beautiful the Isle looked at this time of night. Eventually she saw something that caught the corner of her eye. She turned her head and saw Y/N F/c hair and red eyes shining with the moonlight. As she watched she coudn't help but admire Y/N. The way he never gives up, the way he would do anything for his friends and even seeing that all strong people have a breaking point and they need someone to be there to help them. She was so happy to be that person there for him. Eventually the two made it in front of the blight's manor. Y/N slowly brought them down as he landed softly on the ground. He gently places Amity down as he lets go of her.
Amity: [smiles] Thank you Y/N.
Y/N: Don't mention it. You helped me the least I can do is help you out.
The both of them looked at each other with smiles on their faces. They eventually realized how long they were staring and awkwardly looked away blushing.
Y/N: W-well I should head back see ya later Am.
Y/n begins to fly off with baby dragon on his head as the two start to head home. Amity watches them head back home as she puts her hand over her heart as she replays back all the moments she had shared with Y/N.
Amity: [blushing] You really are something else Y/N Dragneel.
Out of nowhere the front door opens to reveal Amity twins.
Emira: Ohhh does our little mittens have a crush?
Amity: What no of course not!
Edirc: Are you sure? We did watch you come back in his arms.
Emira: A romantic ride back home in your boyfriend's arms.
Amity: [blushes in embarrassment] HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND!
Twins: Not yet!
Amity was busy screaming her head off at her siblings as they continued to tease Amity.
Back with Y/N flying back home. Y/N was thinking about everything that has happened so far. He was once called a freak for being different from his perce back on earth. He was blessed to have friends like Luz and Luke that accepted him for being who he is. He recalls the events about coming here on the boiling isle. Meeting Eda, King, Willow, Gus, Amity. Meeting all of them he was happy to know so many people really care for him. Then a bad thought entered his mind, fire everywhere were the bodies of his friends. To make it worse there was a girl also laying down around the fire with blood coming off her mouth. The girl was the same girl from Lukes heart necklace. Sally.
Sally: [weak] Y-Y/N.
Y/N shaked his head, erasing those bad thoughts from his mind as he kept flying back home.
Y/N: I promised. I won't let that happen again.
Zack: I know you won't buddy.
Y/N looked at his side to see Zack flying beside him.
Zack: After all you are my living legacy. [smiles] Your Y/N Dragneel.
Y/N: [nods his head] Yea [looks forward, smiles and squeezes his hand] I know.
Y/N with a new will to live. Continue to fly into the night sky as he continues to live to find out more about himself. To know who Y/N Dragneel really is.
