The scene opens up with the whole Owl house crew selling human collections.
King: [holds up objects] Part-take on my free snack samples! Take them, I demand them as your ruler! I am the King of demons!
Right now King was trying to sell some weird, food thing, to people but no one was paying him any attention. Eda was sitting in a chair with sunglasses leaning back. Luke was busy reading his fathers book while also looking up at King from time to time. Y/N was rubbing baby dragons head and looking at King.
Luke: Pretty sure that isn't edible.
King: [slams the tray on the ground] Why isn't anyone paying attention to me? [moves around] I'm their rightful overlord.
Luke: *snickers* Yea ok.
King: [glares at Luke] *sighs and sits* Intellectually and such.
Y/N: [walks over to King] Hey don't let it get to you too much buddy.
Baby dragon jumps off Y/N's arms and rubs on King. This slightly made King feel a little better.
Eda: [takes over her sunglasses] But back to what King was saying, something is off. [grabs a random citizen] *sniffs him* It reeks more of nerd than money today.
Luke: You just had to smell him to know that?
Suddenly out of nowhere Luz excitedly slams her hands on the table, scaring everyone and causing Eda to drop the random citizen.
Luz: *excited* Guys you will not believe what's going on!?
Luke: The Isle finally noticed that you and Y/N are finally going out?
This caused both Luz and Y/N to blush and glare daggers at Luke.
Luke: *shrugs* What? *smirks* Had to ask.
Luz: [rolls her eyes] Anyway [runs up under a sign] It's a book fair.
The sign Luz was under spelled out the word "BOOK FAIR '' and around her were tables of civilians selling books to others.
Luz: [posing] Where books come to life!
Just as she says that a random book falls from one of the stans and starts to talk.
Book: Hello.
Luz panics and kicks the book as everyone watches.
Luke: And she called me a nerd.
King: A fair without rides?
Person: Who needs rides when this [shoves the book in King's face] can take you anywhere.
Y/N: He's got a point: King reading can be really fun.
Luke: For the last time Y/N, Comic books and Mangas don't count as real books.
Y/N: If you can read it, it counts!
Meanwhile King threw a sheet of bacon at the person. Just then a giant monster unicorn thing swooped in and grabbed the random person. The person screamed as the creature flew off.
Y/N: Really King?
King: What? He asked for it.
Luke: He's not wrong Y/N. If someone did that to me I would have done something way worse.
Y/N: [sweat drops] (Esh.)
Eda: A. *points at Luz* You B. I'm bored C. [walks off] I feel like pickpocketing some dork while they browse.
Luke: [facepalm] Of course.
Luz: No wait. [looks at the others] You guys will join in right?
Luke: I mean [holds up his fathers book] I pretty much alright am.
Luz: [looks at Y/N] Y/N?
Y/N lifted up his finger and was about to respond but Luke cut him off.
Luke: No pictures.
Y/N lowered his finger and exhaled but Luz walked up to him, put her hands together, and did puppy eyes.
Luz: [adorable] please Y/N.
Y/N: (It should be a crime to be this cute.)
Y/N was really trying to decide whether he should go or not. Reading wasn't really his strong suit; he never really could get into a book with almost falling asleep halfway through it. But then again he was able to read about his kind with Amity mostly because he was interested to learn more about his kind. Maybe he will be able to find something else that is interesting.
Y/N: [smiles] Ok ok I'll do it Luz.
Luz: [squeals] Yes! Yes! Yes! [hugs him] Thank you so much Y/N!
Y/N: [chuckles and hugs back] Anytime.
Luz: [pulls away and looks at King] What about you King?
King: Ehhh I don't know.
Luz: I'll let you ride in my hoodie.
King: [excited ] Ooohohoho.
Y/N&Luke: (That was easy.)
Baby dragon then gave a little whimper at Y/N.
Y/N: [Smiles] Alright little buddy you can ride in my hoodie too.
Baby dragon barked with excitement as he flew into Y/N's hoodie and got comfortable in it. King climbed up in Luz's hoodie and did the same. The Owl house group started walking around the book fair. They pass by many stands with different titles like: "THE REVIEWNICORN", "GHOST WRITER", and "TRAGEDY SECTION ~~ READ EM & WEEP!".
Luz: This book fair's got everything! A zine-making workshop, meet and greets, and- what's that? [gasp]
Everyone looked to where Luz was pointing and saw a giant sign that said "WRITING COMPETITION~~ ENTER TODAY!
Luz: [excited] A writing competition!?
They also saw two people below it signing papers from other people.
Luke: Huh what do you know?
Luz: I always wanted to be a writer.
King: Writer, what? I thought you wanted to be a witch?
Luke: King that's impossible in our world.
Luz: Sadly Luke is right King, in our world being a witch is well impossible. So my runner up dream was to be a writer. [pulls a picture out of her pocket] I've had this about the author picture since I was seven years old. I know my good angle.
Y/N: [Blushes] It is a good angle.
Luz: [blushes and puts the picture away] Thanks. Hey let's all enter!
Before anyone could respond they were suddenly ran into by a few people.
Luke: Hey Watch it!
King: Ugh! What are these basement dwellers doing out in natural sunlight?
Luke: *dusted himself off* Agreed.
Tiny Nose: Uuumm,! We're in line for Jon De Plume, most famous writer on the Boiling Isles, famed author of the Realm Warriors series! I'm gonna have him read my story... and marry me.
Luke: (Red flag. Crazy fan. )
Shows Jon signing books
Man: Jon, will you sign my child?
Jon: I'll sign anything! [laughs]
Y/N: [sweat drops] Yea that's not creepy at all.
King: Such power. Such command he holds over his minions.
Luke: (More like just obsessed fans that need a life.)
King: I must have the same!
Luke: (No you don't.)
King: Luz the human! Y/N the dragon slayer! and Luke the... well other human.
Luke: uhhh..
King I too shall enter the competition.
Luz: Really [squeals and jumps with excitement] We can all work together! [looks at Luke and Y/N] Right guys!?
Luke: *sigh* Oh what the hell, why not?
Y/N: [scratches the back of his head] Well I might not be that good at it.
Luz: That's ok we are just having fun.
Y/N: You sure?
Luz: [nods her head] Yea. What do you say?
Y/N: OK Let's do it.
Luz: [squeals] Yes! We'll make the best team!
King: Team! Yes!
The friends all start to head off back to the owl house.
King: My name goes on first.
Luke: (Oh boy.)
But before the group continued walking someone bumped into Y/N.
Y/N: Oh sorry I didn't see where I was going.
?: It's fine don't worry about-
The person stopped talking as she looked up at Y/N and noticed the black sword on his back and the keychain around his neck.
?: *shocked* Z-Zack?
Zack: [appears] That voice.
Y/N: Uhh no I'm Y/N.
?: Oh s-sorry I thought you were someone else.
As the group looked at the person it was a female holding a flower basket. Her eyes were emerald green. She had long light-brown hair with a large pink ribbon. She has a shin-length pink dress that buttons up the front and a red bolero jacket. She wears brown boots and has metal bracers on her wrists and around the edges of her jacket sleeves.
Y/N: That's fine, You knew Zack?
?: Yes he was- umm let's not talk here.
She takes out a piece of paper and a pen and writes something down.
?: Here if you want to talk more.
She hands the piece of paper and was about to walk off but stops to give him one more thing.
Female: Also [takes out a flower and hands it to Y/N] take this as well.
Y/N takes the flower and sees the female walk off with a confused look.
Luke: What just happened?
Y/N: [looks at the flower] I don't know. [looks at the piece of paper] Gongaga?
Zack: [smiles] That's a name I haven't heard in awhile.
Theme
The portal gate opens, as the camera zooms in on it, Y/N, Luz, and Luke are seen in the sky. They slowly start to open their eyes as they realize they are falling. Both Y/N and Luz panic as Luke just looks down with a bored expression. Suddenly something zoomed past and caught the three friends. Both Y/N and Luz open their eyes, Luz behind Y/N holding on to him tight, while Y/N was holding on to the staff, as they were caught by Eda. Luke was at the bottom of the staff hanging on with just one hand. Eda smirked at the friends and flew to her house with her palisman staff.
The door with Hooty opens to reveal the three friends. Luz had Eda staff as she twirled it around and posed, Y/N, that had Zack's sword on his back, held up a fire fist and smirked while doing a pose, and Luke had his arms crossed as he did a little smirk, as he leaned on the door way. Eda then appeared, taking her staff back, with an amusing grin. Luz then gave a sheepish smile as Y/N put his fire fist away and scratched the back of his head letting out a nervous chuckle. Luke just playfully rolled his eyes as he continued to smirk at his friends' antics. King then gets in front of the camera with a pose.
The scene changes to a three frame slot showing Willow, Gus, and Amity. Willow makes a heart with her hands, Gus holds out his arms in celebration, and Amity just ignores, and turns her back, crossing her arms. It then burns away to reveal King, holding a stuffed rabbit, commanding his army of stuffed animals. Suddenly the stuffed animals started to fall on him as some of them fell onto the camera.
The scene changes again to reveal Luke in a dark void. He then holds the necklace around his neck in his hand as he stares at the picture of him and Sally with a sad expression. Behind him was the Little Demon as he stared at him from the black room with a smile on his face to reveal his sharp teeth. Darkness engulfs the camera as we are shown Y/N surrounded by fire with a sad expression. He was holding a fire fist in his left hand and Zack's sword in his right hand. As Y/N looks at them, the fire takes the form of his father and he sees Zack in the reflection of the sword. The fire around him starts to engulf the camera.
The scene then changes with Luz riding on Eda staff, Y/N with fire wings, and Luke with dark wings. They fly around Bonesborough passing by friends and foes. Luz then picks up Eda and King as Y/N and Luke are flying beside them. Suddenly the ground below them starts to rumble and reveals a giant worm creature that lunges right at them. Everyone, minus Y/N and Luke, screams for dear life as they try to hang on to the staff. Y/N and Luke, nod their heads at each other, as they summon darkness and fire in their hands to attack the creature with a battle cry.
The scene changes to the night sky as it slowly comes down to the owl house. The five friends are standing on top of the house. Luz takes out a little ball of light, Y/N summons a small fireball, and Luke holds up a little shadow ball. The three friends share a smile as they send their balls up into the air. The three balls exploded to reveal the title screen.
The Dragon Slayer of the Boiling Isles
The scene changes to the Owl house where Luz puts down a large cork board.
Luz: Now, let's write down some ideas that we want to see in the story.
King: I can write anything?
Luz: Yeah! [hands him notecards and a crayon] We're brainstorming, every idea is a good idea.
Luke: Luz. I really think you shouldn't tempt King.
King: Silence! I have great ideas.
Luke: Uh-huh sure.
Luz: Now now guys remember the key is to work together.
King: Right together!
Luke: (This is going to be a long day.)
Luz: Hey. [looks around] Where is Y/N?
Luke points to the back of the room as Y/N is staring at both the flower and the note the woman gave to him.
Y/N: (I wonder should I go and-
Luz: Y/N?
Y/N breaks out of his thoughts and looks up and sees a worried Luz.
Luz: Are you ok?
Y/N: Uh yea sorry [puts down the flower and note] just been thinking.
Luke: [walks up to them] It's about that woman isn't?
Y/N: [scratches the back of his head] Yea I'm just trying to wonder how [looks at the note] she knew Zack.
Luke: Maybe you should go and find out? [everyone looks at Luke] What? It was just a suggestion.
Luz: Ooorr maybe we can take your mind off it with some story making.
Y/N looks at Luz for a bit but decides to go along with it as he puts the flower and note down.
Y/N: Alright let's start.
Luz smiles as she gives a pen and notepad to Y/N. Everyone starts to write something down on the piece of paper.
King: Done!
King then pins up on the board one word "VIOLENCE".
Luke: [deadpan look] Really King?
Luz: Uhh... is that all you want to see?
King thinks for a second and then takes the crayon and paper and writes another word "BLOOD" with a smiley face at the bottom left.
Luke: Of course.
The scene then changes with the board filled with notes. Luz then gets up and pins more notes.
Luz: Romance! Magic! Heartbreak with shimmer tears.
Luke: Make her stop please.
Y/N just chuckles as Luz continues.
Luz: And, the main character is, of course, ahhh, Luzura! [holds up a card with a drawing of herself wearing a pointed hat] I know it's kind of cliché, but what's wrong with cliché?
Y/N: I love it.
Luz: [giggles] Thanks Y/N.
Luz pins the picture on the board. King then pins his image: It was a stick figure if himself wearing a crown with "KING" crossed off with the words "RULER OF DEMONS"
King: Nyeh! And my main character is the King...err...the Ruler of Demons! With this totally original, all-star cast, victory will be ours!
Luke: Uh-huh sure.
King: Oh yea what do you have?
Luke pins a picture of a man holding a samurai sword. His hair was in a ponytail and he was wearing samurai clothing.
Luke: I call him Deker. [smirks at King] He's a demon slayer. [King gulps] He walks the land in search of his purpose in life. [everyone looks at Luke] What?
Luz: [looks at Y/N] What about you Y/N?
Y/N: [pins a picture of him dressed in Inferno costume] I had trouble coming up with something so I decided to call him Lotus. He is the king of dragons and the commander of all that is fire.
Luz: [smiles and blushes] He looks cool.
Y/N: [Blushes] Thanks Luz.
Luke: [smirk] (Get a room, you two.)
Luz: Anyway [takes out a typewriter and sets it down on the table] Now for the easy part.
Cue montage
King and Luke stare at the corkboard, now with "ACT 1", "ACT 2", and "ACT 3" on larger notecards in the middle. Luz puts a giant piece of paper over the acts of a drawing of Luzura, Ruler, Lotus, and Deker standing in front of an explosion. Everyone but Luke does a high five as Luke stares at it and sighs but smirks. Cut to Luz writing the following on a chalkboard: "Step 1: Find Cat. Step 2: Endanger Cat. Step 3: Shave Cat (?). Step 4: Book Complete." King and Y/N nod while Luke just raises his eyebrow. Cut to the chalkboard now hanging up and reading "STORY STRUCTURE" with a circle on it, a line cutting it in half, with the numbers 1-8 on it. King gestures to it several times. Luz draws a face on the circle. Everyone but Luke grins while Luke just facepalms and shakes his head with a smile. Cuts to Luz writing a scene between Luzura and Lotus. She writes them confessing their feelings to each other as they kiss, but she accidently puts Y/N's name instead of Lotus's. Luz's blushes but feels someone behind her, she turns around and sees Luke with King on his shoulder looking at her with big grins on their faces. Luz begins to panic as she balls up the paper and throws it. However the paper hits Y/N head and falls to the ground. Y/N turns around and picks the paper ball up and starts to un-crumble it and was about to read it until Luz rushes over and snatches it from him. She then starts to eat it and gives Y/N a sheepish smile while Y/N was confused about what was going on. Meanwhile King and Luke just smirked through the whole scene. Cut to the floor littered with paper, most of them scribbled over with red. Luz is typing while Y/N is standing behind her with baby dragon on his head and King is pacing while reading and Luke is sitting near the window. A banner above them reads "Luzura's Awakening."
King: "Luzura's tears fell on the frozen Lotus, bringing him back to life." Ehhh it just seems kind of unrealistic.
Luz: I see what you're saying. [stops typing] But in your version, Ruler just destroys everything.
Y/N: She's got a point King there is more to life then just destroying everything.
Luz: I think a little romantic tension could help the scene.
Luke: Depends how one handles the romance.
King: You know, there is more to life then just shipping right?
Y/N&Luke: [eyes widened] Oh crap..
Luz: Don't you dare insult shipping in my presence!
Both Y/N and Luke flich cause they know how Luz feels about shipping especially Luke. There was a time when Luke said the same thing King said and he had to sit through hours and hours of Luz explaining how shipping works. Ever Since then he keeps quiet about anything shipping related.
Eda: Apprentices! Living Room!
Luke: Huh, teach needs us [walks out the room] lets go.
Luz: I'll be back, we'll figure this out, okay writing buddy? [Luz leaves]
Y/N: Wait up Gu- [sees the not and flower]
Y/N walks over and picks them up and stares at them for a bit and starts to head out the room. As the group leaves, King looks at the typewriter and has an idea.
King: My turn to write!
The three friends make it to the living room and sees Eda getting ready to go somewhere.
Luz: What's up boss lady!
Eda: I am popping out for a few days to an undisclosed place to do undisclosed things. [looks at Luke] And you are coming with me.
Luke: [confused] What why me?
Eda: Because I said so that's why. [looks at Luz] You are in charge.
Eda starts to walk as Luke just sighs and follows her.
Luke: [looks back] Don't do anything stupid while were gone.
Luz: Ok.
Eda: I said no questions! [slams the door]
Luke: [muffled] You didn't even say it the firs- [gets hit in the head] Ow!
Luz: [smiles] Well I guess that means more time for [blushes and whispers] us. [shakes her head] A-and King to yea hehe yea.
Luz then looks up and sees Y/N packing up some stuff in a bag while baby dragon watches.
Luz: [walks up to Y/N] Hey Y/N. What are you doing?
Y/N: *sighs* Sorry Luz it's just that [takes out the note] But I can't stop thinking of how that woman knew Zack. [puts it away] I'm going to go there and see if I can get some answers.
Luz: But [looks down] I thought we were going to do this together.
Y/N: [walks up to her] I know I promise once I get some answers I'll come straight back.
Luz: [sad] Ok.
Y/N: Hey don't worry I'll be ok.
Luz: [looks at him] It's not that… Well maybe I'm a little worried you'll get hurt. It's more like I wanted us to spend [blushes] a little time together.
Y/N eyes widened when he heard this.
Luz: Ever since we came here we barely spend any time like we used to back home. [looks down sadly] I was just hoping this was the time we could.
Y/N started to feel a little guilty. He didn't know Luz felt this was but wanted to do something to make it up to her.
Y/N: [puts his head on her check] Hey how about this: Me and you can hang out just the two of us?
This made Luz's heart beat fast hearing just her and Y/N wants to spend time with just him and her.
Luz: [blushes] R-Really?
Y/N: *nods* Yep!
Luz: O-Ok.
Y/N smiled and started to make his way out while Luz watches but stops at the front door confusing Luz.
Y/N: [takes out the flower] H-Here.
Luz: [Takes the flower and stares at it] Uhh why are you giving it to me?
Y/N: W-Well [blushes and scratches his cheek] That woman likes to give flowers to people so they can give it to someone special. S-So I'm giving it to you L-Luz.
This made Luz blush but what made her blush even more is when Y/N quickly kissed her on the cheek and ran out.
Y/N: SeeyalaterLuz! [shuts the door behind him]
Luz touches her cheek and holds the flower close to her chest. Her heart would not stop beating fast of what Y/N did. What broke her out of her thoughts was baby dragon staring at her panting.
Luz: [blushes] What!? I-It was just a k-kiss nothing else!
Baby dragon just barked and continued to stare at a blushing Luz. Luz on the other hand was staring at the flower Y/N gave her. At first when the lady gave him the flower she didn't know how to feel but when Y/N gave it to her she couldn't help but love it.
Luz: [smiles] He really is sweet.
Luz started to walk away waiting for Y/N to come back.
Y/N POV
I was flying in the air panting like crazy with my cheeks burning like crazy. All I could do is ask myself..
Me: WHY DID YOU TALK ME INTO DOING THAT!?
Zack then appears beside me feeling a little hurt.
Zack: Me!?
Me: [looks at him embarrassed] YES YOU! YOU TOLD ME TO DO THAT!
Zack: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! All I said was she likes to give flowers to people so they can give it to other people! I never told you to go up and kiss her!
I was trying to think of something but he was right. I just looked away embarrassed.
Zack: But look at you being mister smooth.
My cheeks began to blush bright red as I hung my head down embarrassed.
Y/N: S-Shut up!
Zack: [chuckles] Hey at least she accepted it right.
Y/N: *sighs* I-I guess you're right.
I started to calm down as we were heading to meet up with that woman.
Y/N: You know her right?
Zack: hmm you could say that.
I just gave him a "Really" look.
Zack: [smiles] She'll explain more to you. It is better to get the answers from the sources.
I just sigh and start to think more about where I'm heading.
Y/N: If I had to guess that place is your old home huh?
Zack: hehe remember huh?
Y/N: It took a minute but yea.
I then remember something else that made me smirk.
Y/N: Hey do you mind saying the name?
Zack: [confused] Uhhh sure why though?
Y/N: Just to make sure I say it right.
Zack: [raises an eyebrow] Ooook then. [clears his throat]
Zack: [Puts his right arm on his chest] Me, Gongaga.
I couldn't hold it in and started busting out laughing.
Zack: What!?
Y/N: [slowly starts to stop laughing] S-Sorry it's just a silly name.
Zack: [Glares] Ditto Earth.
The two of us continue to fly off to Gongaga.
3RD POV
Currently Eda and Luke are walking around the forest with Luke covered in leaves.
Luke: Explain to me again why I agree to this?
Eda: You didn't, I forced you to come.
Luke: And again I ask… Why me?
Eda: Come on kid don't you want to hangout with your teacher.
Luke just gives Eda a glare.
Eda: *sighs* Ok [pulls out a map] We're looking for the Bloom of Eternal Youth.
Luke: Again why am I here?
Eda: Well I need a little extra eyes to help me out.
Luke just sighs as he starts to walk forward as Eda watches and begins to walk with him.
Eda: According to the map we head due north, and with luck, we'll get to the Bloom of Eternal Youth before Lilith! [laughs, snorts] Who's frail now, emperor dorks?
Luke: I mean you're getting help from me soo [gets hit in the head] Ow!
Just then they both heard a tree branch. Eda summons a blue blade while look summons his sword.
Eda: Someone is following us.
Luke: Let's take cover.
The two hide behind the statue and hear the footsteps get louder. They look over and try to make out the figure. Luke slowly starts to recognise the person.
Luke: Wait is that-
But before he could finish Eda summoned a fireball and started to attack the person.
Eda: Spicy toss!
Luke: Teach wait!
Eda lets out a battle cry getting ready to attack until we get a full view of the figure. It was Lilth that was covered in leaves. She sees Eda coming at her and screams. Eda regains the scream and the person and stops.
Eda: Lily?
Lilith: Edalyn?
Luke: [slowly approaches them] Welp glad I didn't get to see her kill you.
Eda: I wasn't going to kill her.
Luke gives her a "Really" look.
Eda: Well much.
Lilith: [sighs] And of course you and your student would be here just to be a nuisance.
Luke: I was brought her against my will.
Lilith: [looks at Eda] Why don't you go home and rest? Wouldn't want you breaking a hip.
Luke couldn't help my snicker, he then got hit in the head by Eda.
Eda: Sorry Sister, I'm stronger than you think. I'm here to save the Bloom of Eternal Youth from the likes of you. [runs; singsong] And I'm gonna get there before you!
Luke: Really teach why-
Lilith: Ahh! No you won't!
Luke: [rubs in between his eyes] *sigh* Siblings.
Luke starts to chase after them.
Meanwhile with Y/N
Y/N was flying around the sky until he saw a nearby small village.
Y/N: Huh? You know I was expecting more of a town than a small village.
Zack: *sigh* That's what a lot of people say when they first see it.
Y/N landed nearby the village and started walking. As he makes his way through the gate he looks around and notices a lot of the villagers resemble a lot like humans.
Y/N: Wow it's almost like I'm back on earth.
Zack: *chuckles* Yea I know right.
As Y/N kept walking he then heard some sobbing coming from a nearby tree. He looks over and sees a little girl rubbing her eyes crying. He walks over to the girl and kneels down on one knee.
Y/N: Hey what's wrong?
Little Girl: [looks up] I-I-I lost my b-b-ball up in t-the tree.
Y/N looks up and sees a red ball stuck in a tree.
Y/N: *smiles* Don't worry I got it.
The little girl looks at Y/N confused until she sees Y/N jump from branch to branch and does a little flip off another branch. He lands on one of the branches and reaches in and grabs the ball. He holds it under his armpit and jumps down in front of the girl holding the ball in front of him.
Y/N: *smiles* Here you go.
Little Girl: *amazed* Woow. [takes the ball] That was soo cool Mr.
Y/N: *chuckles* It was nothing. But my name is Y/N.
Little Girl: Y/N? I never heard that name before. Are you new around here Mr. Y/N?
Y/N: Yea this is my first time here.
Little Girl: Well Mr. Y/N if you need help around town you should go find Ms. Aerith. She likes to help people out.
Y/N: *nods his head* Gotcha I'll do that. Where can I find her?
Little Girl: [points] She likes to help out at the church.
Y/N: *nods* Thank you.
Little Girl: No problem Mr. Y/N. *Starts to run off* Hope I see you again.
Y/N: *chuckles* Same here.
Y/N looked at the direction she pointed in and started making his way there. Along the way he notices a lot of people staring at him or more so his sword.
Y/N: (Is it just me or people keep staring at me?)
Zack: Its the sword they're looking at.
Y/N: How come?
Before Zack could answer a voice called out to him.
?: Hey! Over here!
Y/N looked at the direction of where the voice was coming from and saw the same long light-brown hair woman before. She was holding the same flower basket full of flowers.
Woman: *approaches Y/N* I had a feeling you would come.
Y/N: *Scratches the back of his head* Of course. As my master said [holds up a finger with his eyes closed] Never keep a lady waiting.
Women: *Giggles* Funny how he kept me waiting for a while.
Y/N: [opens his eyes shocked] Really? *looks at Zack* I never knew.
Zack is seen whistling, with his back facing Y/N as he sweats.
Women: Well anyway [puts her hand on her chest] My name is Aerith. *bows* It's a pleasure to meet you Y/N.
Y/N: Oh the pleasure is all mine. [register what she said] Wait your Aerith.
Aerith: Oh you know me?
Y/N: Well I helped a little girl get her ball down and she told me to talk to the women that work at a church to help me know my way around town.
Aerith: Oooh I see. You really know how to make friends rather quickly don't you?
Y/N: *chuckles and rubs his head* In a way.
They both share a laugh.
Aerith: Well anyway I know you have a lot of questions but first can you help me with something real quick?
Y/N: Sure. What is it?
Aerith: I need help collecting flowers and I was wondering if you could help me out?
Y/N: *nods* Sure I don't mind.
Aerith: *smiles* Thank you so much Y/N. [starts to walk] Let's go.
Y/N nods and starts to walk with Aerith. As Zack watches.
Zack: *smiles* You still haven't changed, have you Aerith.
Back with Luz
King had ended up changing a lot of Luz's and the others ideas which tower a whole between Luz and King's writing relationship. Luz told King if this is how he wants to write the story then he should do it on his own. King wanted to show Luz that his story was superior to others and decided to go into town and show people but they were not interested and literally threw King into the mud. Just then a strange Lizard creature named Piniet, read King's story and decided to help him out. King agreed and signed a contract. After that Piniet published King's book and made him into a star.
Luz was on the typewriter finishing her own story. Baby dragon was beside her looking at her with concern. He could feel Luz was hurt by what happened and was trying to find a way to cheer her up. He had an idea and he started to write something on a piece of paper. After he was finished he barked to get Luz's attention. Luz looked down and saw what baby dragon wrote.
"Ywr awwsome"
Luz: *smiles and rubs baby dragons head* Thanks boy.
King: ohh Luz! Second in command!
Both Luz and baby dragon just sighed and looked over to see King. He was wearing a green scarf, with a brown sweater, with sunglasses.
King: Guess who won the writing competition and became a blockbuster writer superstar?
Luz just went back to typing as baby dragon sat on her lap.
King: [slides] You're right, it's me! Me! Do you two wanna touch my scarf? A fan crocheted it out of their own hair! It smells so bad!
Baby dragon could tell he wasn't lying, the smell was making him sick. Luz continued to type, ignoring King.
King: My publisher is throwing a huge party for my book, Ruler's Reach. [puts an invitation on the table] And I, uh, I'd like for you two to be there.
Luz just brushes the invitation off the table as she continues to type. Baby dragon just continues to give King a glare.
King: Alright, fine! Be that way I guess.
As King leaves Luz lets out a sad sigh.
Typewriter: Girl, dragon, you two don't need him.
Luz: But I don't want to be mad at him either.
Baby dragon lets out a sad chirp. Luz sees the flower that Y/N gave her and picks it up.
Luz: I wish you were here Y/N. *looks at Kings invitation* Kind of glad Luke's not here. Luke would kill King.
Why did she say that you ask? Well King kind of made Derker a complete idiot and had him die off by walking off a bridge.
Back with Eda and Luke
After losing Lilith, Eda and Luke decided to set up a campfire.
Eda: Ahh nothing like the night sky and a campfire to enjoy that night huh kid?
Luke: I think you have forgotten how deadly the night is here.
Eda: *frowns* Wow you must be fun at parties.
Luke: You'd be surprised.
After a moment of silence Luke decided to speak.
Luke: *sighs* Why?
Eda: *confused* Why what?
Luke: Why did you want me to come with you here?
Eda: Oh come on Kid I told you.
Luke: Yea I highly doubt the Owl lady needs an extra pair of eyes.
Eda was about to say something but sighs.
Eda: Ok ok. The real reason is I needed someone to watch over me so my curse doesn't act up.
For a second Luke remained quiet until he finally said something.
Luke: Ok say I believe that why didn't you pick Luz or Y/N?
Eda was about to say something until Luke continued.
Luke: Last I checked that curse is very vulnerable to light. Now that Y/N has better control of his fire he could use that, and since Luz has her glyphs master down she could use that as well. But instead you picked someone who's magic is darkness, a very bad idea if you ask me.
Eda was quiet.
Luke: *sigh* Look if you're going to lie, at least do better than that.
Eda: *smirks* You're too smart, you know that.
Luke: *sighs* I guess.
Eda: *chuckles* [gets serious] Ok, as painful as this is to say, I do really need someone to watch over me just in case my curse acts up, but the real reason I brought you here is to talk.
Luke: *raises an eyebrow* About?
Eda: Kid it's about your little problem.
Luke went wide eyed for a bit but continued to listen to Eda.
Eda: We both know the two of us are not ok. We both have some kind of trouble and we both don't want others to know about it.
Luke looks down.
Eda: I won't force you to tell me about what you're going through. I just wanted to check on you not just for me but for the others as well. And especially for that little plant magic girl.
Luke: [surprised and looks up at Eda] You mean Willow?
Eda: Who else? She told me about what happened with the bat queen.
Luke: Oh [looks down again] I see.
Eda: She didn't want to tell Y/N and Luz cause she knew it was something private. But she needed to at least tell someone and that happened to be me. [looks at the fire] When she told me she was trying her best not to cry but was failing at that.
Luke: How much did she tell you?
Eda: Mostly your turn into that shadow form and was going on a rampage.
Luke just looked at the fire.
Luke: *sigh* It's not that I don't want to tell you all anything. It's just that… That.. I'm
Eda: Scared.
Luke looks up at Eda.
Eda: You're scared to tell anyone because you think they'll get hurt don't you.
Luke: [looks to the side] *sad* Yea.
Eda: [walks over and sits beside Luke] Listen Luke I know letting people into your world is a risk, a scary risk, but if you know you yourself can't handle it alone then you got to let others help you.
Luke: Why? *irritated* Why should I let them help me?!
Eda: Because you'll hurt not only yourself but them as well.
Luke: *gets up angry* How would you know!? How would you know anything that I'm going through!?
Eda: Kid.
Luke: You don't know what it's like! What it's like waking up every morning telling everyone that you're fine but you're not! You don't know how it feels to fear that you might transform and hurt someone! You don't know what it's like- [starts to realize] What it's like- [looks at his hands] You don't- [looks at Eda] You….
Eda: *puts a hand on his shoulder* Kid I might not have the exact same thing you have but *hugs him* I do have an idea of what you're going through. Don't push people away, kid. [Luke eyes widen and starts to tear up] Don't push me away Luke.
After that Luke hugs Luke and starts to silently cry on Eda. Eda just rubbed his back and smiled as a few tears fell from her eyes as well.
Back with Y/N
Y/N had just finished helping Aerith collect flowers. The two were walking holding 4 full baskets of flowers in their hands.
Y/N: Wow you love collecting flowers don't you.
Aerith: *giggles* It's one of my favorite things to do.
Y/N: *Smiles* I see.
Aerith: You're actually really good at picking them too.
Y/N: *chuckles* I had a little bit of experience.
He wasn't lying he would always help out Ms. Noceda picking out plants in her garden.
Aerith: I see.
As they continue to walk, Aerith sighs.
Aerith: Ok I know you want some answers right. [Y/N just nods] Meeting these two people will explain everything.
Y/N: Two people?
Y/N and Aerith approached a house that was similar to the others. As he looked at the house he then saw Zack appear with some tears in his eyes.
Zack: Huh *whips some tears off* Never thought I would see this place again.
As Y/N was confused at first, Aerith knocked on the door. A few seconds pass and the door opens to reveal a man with white hair wearing a brown vest over a white shirt. He was wearing brown pants and caramel dress shoes. Beside him was a woman with gray hair, wearing a red dress with purple pants and caramel dress shoes. When Zack saw them the tears he had whipped away returned.
Zack: *voice cracked* L-Long time no see.
Y/N was confused until he heard them talking.
Man: Aerith how many times have we told you?
Woman: It's dangerous to collect flowers this time at night.
Aerith: I know. It's just that *pulls out a blue flower* The midnight flower only comes out when its dark outside.
Woman: *sigh* One of these days you're going to get yourself killed with that attitude.
Aerith: *pouts* I'm a big girl.
Man: *rubs Aerith's head* Yes we know. You've told us that many times.
Aerith just huffs but smiles. Y/N watches the scene with his own smile.
Aerith: Oh right there is someone I want you to meet.
Women: Oh really who?
Aerith: *turns around and looks at Y/N* Him.
Both the man and the women look at Y/N.
Woman: *walks up* Nice to meet you dea-
Man: *walks up* Honey what's wron-
Y/N started at the two confused.
Y/N: Uhh are you two ok?
Man: That sword.
Woman: *tears began to fall* It can't be..
Y/N: *concern* Hey, what's wrong?
Aerith: *Walks up and hugs them* Mr and Mrs Strife this is Y/N, Y/N this is Mr and Mrs Strife... Zack's parents.
Y/N: *eyes widened* [shouts] WHAT!?
Back with King
Right now at the library a special event is taking place for King celebrating his books work. Inside the library King and Piniet is sitting at a table.
Fan: Your fans are dying to know when Ruler's Reach 2 comes out!
King: That's between me and my publisher, right Piniet?
Piniet: Yes. Ooh pardon me, I need a few moments of King's time.
Piniet walks off. King looks back at his fans and throws a peace sign, making them scream. Cut to the aisle in front of the romance section.
King: Where's Jon De Plume at? I wanted to compare sunglasses.
Piniet: Oh he's taking a break to finish his latest masterpiece. Fame can really box you in, you know? Uh, speaking of, how's your second book coming along?
King: Coming along? Or finished! [pulls out a manuscript] Bam! Haha! Ruler's Reach 2 - now with more swears!
Piniet: Ahhh! Splendid! [reads story] Oh you cad! Not only are you a great writer, but a practical joker as well!
King: Yea I- Wait what!?
Pinet: Oh, this is truly awful! Looking forward to the real draft. [hands manuscript back and walks away]
King: Truly awful? But I'm a best-selling writer. How?
King then notices Luz walking looking disinterested as she was holding baby dragon.
King: Luz! [runs towards them] I can't right without her.
With Luz
Luz: *sighs* He's still our friend so we have to support him.
Baby dragon gives a nod. Even though he was unsure of all this, he still wanted to support King.
King: Luz, Baby dragon, my buddies! So glad you two could make it. [stops in front of them]
Luz: *sigh* Hey King. I didn't wanna be angry at your success. You're my friend. So, congratulations!
Baby dragon gives a light chirp.
King: Great to hear, 'cause I really need your help with my next book!
Luz: [confused] Huh?
King: Apparently I can't write my daring works of genius without rebelling against your gushy fantasy slop!
Luz: [blushes embarrassed] Excuse me!?
Baby dragon gives a light growl.
King: We make a great team! So, here's a pen. Writey writey, clock's a-tickin'!
Baby dragon walks up on Luz's shoulder. Luz takes the pen and baby dragon burns it with his fire getting everyone's attention.
King: Hey! Why did you do that!?
Baby dragon growls as Luz pets him to calm him down.
Luz: I'm not writing for you after you made fun of all my ideas! [walks away]
King: Luz! Wait!
Luz: Congrats on your success.
Baby dragon blows smoke from his nose as a huff.
King: What am I gonna do? I can't write without her!
Unknown to him a Piniet saw and heard everything as he put his fingers over his chin as he thought about something.
Back with Luke and Eda
After a little crying section Eda and Luke are sitting beside each other looking at the fire.
Luke: I appreciated that.
Eda: *rubs his back* No problem kid. Just know I'll help in any way I can. And remember *looks at him and smile* We weirdos have to stick together.
Luke looks at Eda and does a little smirk.
Luke: heh. Since when was I one of you weirdos?
Eda: What the!? Oh come on! We were having a moment!
Luke: Yea. No.
Eda: *glares* You really know how to ruin a moment don't you kid?
Luke: *gets up and starts walking* Learn from the best.
Eda: I you *sighs* That's fair.
After Eda said that, she remembers a similar scenario she had with Igneel that made her smile a bit.
Luke: *stops walking* You ok there teach? You have been smiling for a while, it's creepy.
Eda: [breaks out of her thoughts] Huh? Oh just thinking of things.
Luke: Riiiight. Anyway let's keep this little event between the three of us.
Eda: You got it kid. [realizes] Wait three?
Luke points his thumb to a nearby tree. Eda turns her head and sees Lilith, who was hiding terribly, behind a tree.
Lilith: [embarrassed] I umm well *sheepish smile* I got lost?
Luke: Uh huh.
Eda: Lily!? How long have you been there!?
Lilith: Well I you see..
Luke: The whole time I'm guessing.
Lilith: …..Yes…
Eda: Well so much for keeping a secret *walks up to Luke* But on the bright side.
Before Luke could react Eda put him over his shoulder and started running.
Eda: That just means we just have to run faster!
Luke: Hey!
Lilith: Ahhh! [runs after them] Edalyn!
Eda kept running with Luke over her shoulder for a few minutes with Luke trying to get off.
Luke: Would you put me down already!?
Eda: Not a chance Kid! We got to get to the Bloom of Eternal Youth! Before Lily! *snorts* Speaking of which, Doesn't this remind you of how we used to race to the kitchen, Lilly? Lilly?
Luke: [points up] Look up.
Eda looks up and sees Lilith tight up in a web and in the hands of a giant green crab monster.
Eda: What the when-
Luke: That's why I was trying to tell you to put me down. [Eda drops Luke] Ow.
Luke gets up and looks at Eda as they both nod their heads. Eda and Luke draw a circle, Eda fires a fire spell, and Luke fires a shadow ball at the crab creature, sending it flying into the sky. Lilith falls and lands on a bush still tied up. Both Eda and Luke rush over to Lilith.
Eda: [lifts Lilith up] Alley-Oop! [looks at Luke] Kid if you please.
Luke: *sighs* Sure.
Luke draws a circle on his shadow and gets out his sword and cuts the webs off Lilith.
Lilith: Ugh, *looks at Luke* Thank you young man.
Luke: *puts the sword back into the shadow* Don't mention it.
Lilith: *looks at Eda* And thank you Edalyn! I wasn't certain that you'd save me.
Eda: tow it! Ugh, we might fight, but you're still my sister. And besides, if someone's gonna be putting you down, it's gonna be me. Ha! [slaps Lilith's back]
Lilith recovers and chuckles. Luke watches the scene and couldn't help but smile a little looking at it. Seeing two siblings getting along reminded him of him and his sister. Luke then looks to the side and sees something.
Luke: Hey is that- [gets cut off by both Eda and Lilith smushed to his face] A little room please?
Lilith: [back up] Oh sorry.
Eda: *smirks* I'm not.
Luke rolls his eyes, pushes Eda off him, and goes back to looking at the thing he saw. Through the trees he sees a single pink flower surrounded by thorns. The three walk up to it and stop a few feet away from it.
Eda: The Bloom of Eternal Youth!
Luke: Got to say I'm impressed.
Lilith: Indeed.
Eda looks at both Luke and Lilith and grins. Eda pushes Luke into Lilith and runs towards the flower.
Eda: Thanks for the dirstratin Luke! That baby's mine!
Luke&Lilith: [growls] Why are you always like this?
Luke then notices he was on top of Lilith as he gets off her.
Eda: Because Lilith, you think I'm just some tired old biddy. Ah, but I'm more than that. [magically cuts the flower] And with the Bloom of Eternal Youth's power, I'll show you!
The flower disappears from Eda's hand.
Eda: What the.
Luke: *helps Lilith up* I want to add maybe cutting it off was a horrible idea.
Lilith: No, it's something else.
They then heard some maniacal laughter causing all of them to look up. Luke and Lilith walk beside Eda and watch.
Back with Y/N
After calming down Mr. and Mrs. Strife, Everyone was sitting down at the table. Well except for Aerith who was making tea in the kitchen leaving Y/N alone with the parents.
Y/N: *Sweats* (This is so awkward.)
Zack: Yea then can be a little intense.
Ms. Strife: *clears her throat* So you are Zack's puppile?
Y/N: uh yea. He taught me everything I needed to know.
Ms. Strife: I see.
There was an awkward silence. Until Aerith came with a plate of tea in her hands
Aerith: I'm back and I brought tea!
Ms. Strife: Thank you dear.
Aerith: *giggles* No problem.
Aerith passed out the tea cups to everyone and sat beside me.
Aerith: Now I know all of this is a little weird, but I wanted all of us to get along and welcome Zack's pupil to the family.
Y/N: *Scratches the back of his head* (part of the family huh?)
Mr. Strife: *sighs* Alright. So Y/N was it you were Zack's pupil.
Y/N: *nods* Yes sir.
Mr. Strife: I see and how did you and Zack meet exactly?
Y/N: Well… *looks down* It was after I lost my mother. Since I didn't have anywhere to go they put me in an orphanage and there I waited for someone to adopt me… but no one did. Every Time someone saw me they would always say they saw a freak.
Everyone at the table could help but feel remorse for Y/N.
Y/N: I would always watch the other kids get adopted and enjoy their new homes. Some of them would rub it in and say "Enjoy staying here for the rest of your life freak". I was slowly giving up hope of ever finding a home. *smiles and looks up* That was until I met him.
FlashBack
It was adoption day with all the kids all waiting for someone to adopt them. Some of the kids were either playing or showing off to the parents that they wanted to be adopted… All kids except one. We are cut to a little corner of the room with a little Y/N who was holding his legs with his hands, with his head down, just listening to the sounds of the kids having fun. He wanted to join, he really did, but everytime he did they would tell him to go away or ask why isn't he here. The parents wouldn't make it any better as they would ask "the hell is that?" and the adoption people would respond with "just a noscences that's all". Apparently just looking at Y/N gave the adoption people a better reason to get the kids away from him. Y/N was trying his best not to cry but failed miserably.
During this adoption a familiar black haired fellow entered and looked around. He then was approached by a blond woman.
Woman: Hello sir! My name is Mandy! Are you interested in adopting some kids!?
Zack: Huh? Oh so that was the event that was going on here?
Mandy: *confused* Uhh yes sir? This is an orphanage.
Zack: Ohhh right *scratches the back of his head* my bad.
Mandy: It's no problem! *smiles* Anyway, do any of these kids interest you!?
Zack looked around and saw a lot of kids either talking with other parents, showing off some special talent or either just playing with the other kids. As Zack was looking he noticed Y/N in the corner not joining with the others.
Zack: *points to Y/N* How come he's not playing with the rest of them?
Mandy: *disgusted look* Oh him, don't waste your time on him. He's just a waste of space. I don't even know why this place still keeps him around.
Zack: Esh. Isn't that kind of harsh?
Mandy: Trust me sir. He might seem like a normal kid but as soon as he gets mad his eyes changes red. And if I recole people say the air around him also gets really hot.
Zack: (Red eyes? Hot air?)
Mandy: Look I have better picks for you maybe Daniel he can really show you how to- *notices Zack not there* Hey *looks around* Where did you go?
Unknown to her Zack was walking up to the little Y/N. As he was close enough he knelt down and tried talking to him.
Zack: Hey there.
Y/N:...
Zack: *smiles* My name is Zack. What's your name?
Y/N:...Y/N.
Zack: That's a cool name.
Y/N:...Thanks.
Zack: So why are you here by yourself?
Y/N… No one wants…. Anything….. To do with me…..
Zack: Well I do.
Y/N:...
Zack: No really I do! *gets up* I want to know a little about you!
Y/N: ….Why?
Zack: *confused* Why what?
Y/N: *picks his head up* [emotionless eyes] Don't you think I'm a freak? Why bother talking to a freak like me?
Zack: *smiles* Because you're not a freak you're just different.
Y/N: Being different means I'm weird.
Zack: And being weird means you're a weirdo.
Y/N: …Your point?
Zack: Where I'm from I'm kinda a weirdo to so *holds his hand out* Come with me.
Y/N *confused* Why?
Zack: Cause us weirdos have to stick together.
For some reason some life started to come to Y/N and tears started to form in his eyes.
Y/N: W-Why? Why do you want me?
Zack: As I said you were alone and you need a fellow weirdo *smiles* like me.
Y/N just cried as he ran up and hugged Zack. Zack just petted the boy's head and hugged him back.
End of Flashback
Y/N: Ever since then he and I have traveled the world together.
Y/N finished his story and looked up to see both Aerith and Ms. Strife crying and Mr. Strife trying his best not to cry.
Ms. Strife: *crying* That sounds just like my boy.
Mr. Strife: *smiles with tears in his eyes* Zack. That boy did say he wanted to pick an interesting one.
Y/N: *Sweat drop* (I don't know whether to take that as an insult or a component.)
Then we all heard someone crying and turned to see Aerith crying her eyes out.
Y/N: *panics* Dah! Ms. Aerith are you ok!?
Aerith: *wipes her tears* I-I'm fine. *sniffs* I-It was just a touching story.
Ms. Strife: *Smiles* It really was. *gets up from her sit* Come on dear, lets go get something to dry your eyes.
Aerith nodded as she and Ms. Strife went to go get her some tissues, leaving Y/N and Mr. Strife by themselves.
Mr. Strife: She really can get emotional sometimes.
Y/N: It's good to show emotions. It shows we are still people.
Mr. Strife: *looks at Y/N with amazement* Heh. To think your his son and could say that.
Y/N: Huh?
Mr. Strife: Come on boy I wasn't born yesterday. *leans on both his hands* Your last name is Dragneel right? The son of Igneel Dragneel?
Y/N: *Shocked* How did you-
Mr. Strife: I've been alive longer than you have kid. I know dragon slayer magic went I sense it.
Y/N: Oh I see.
Mr. Strife: So I'm right?
Y/N: Y-Yea I'm Igneels…. Son.
Mr. Strife: I see. To think someone like him was able to have kids. Got to say I'm a little shocked.
Y/N: Wait, you don't hate me? Or him?
Mr. Strife: What? Of course not! Why would I hate my son's best friend's son?
Y/N: Wait really? Igne- I mean dad never did anything wrong to you people.
Mr. Strife: Besides giving me back talk and eating all our food. Not really. He was a brat though.
Y/N: I *smiles* I see.
Mr. Strife: From your reaction I'm guessing you only heard bad things about your father.
Y/N: Yea.
Mr. Strife: Figures. *looks out the window* The Igneel that people talk about wasn't anything like the one I know.
Y/N: My old man *Mr. Strife looks at Y/N* What was he like, from your point of view?
Mr Strife: *looks at Y/N for a bit then sighs* Like I said he was a brat. Always saying "This is not how you treat your future king of dragons" and I would always yell at him saying "YOU LIVE IN MY HOUSE BRAT SO YOU'RE GOING TO OBEY BY MY RULES!"
Y/N jumped back a little when he heard Mr. Strife raise his voice.
Mr. Strife: *rubs his neck* Whoops sorry about that. *clears his throat* Anyway we would always have those arguments and they would last for awhile until my wife would hit us both on our hands and tell us how childish we were being.
Y/N: *chuckles* I see.
Mr. Strife: But secretly it was just the way we showed how much we carried for each other. *smiles* He always had this strange way of showing how he cared about his friends and others. *closes his eyes* And no matter what he always cherished them.
Y/N couldn't help but smile hearing all this, but soon he started to frown.
Y/N: Do you know-
Mr. Strife: Sorry but I don't. *opens his eyes and looks at Y/N* When I started to hear the rooms of what happen to him even I thought those were all lies but *sigh* I guess I just didn't want to believe it. Until I saw him last time.
Igneel was standing in front of Zack's parents house with Mr and Miss Strife looking at him.
Mr. Strife: *irritated* Igneel. *yells* What the hell has gotten into you!?
Igneel: *emotionless* This path is what's best for the dragon slayers.
Mr. Strife: Huh!? What the hell does that even mean!?
Igneel: Hmph. *starts to walk away* You'll find out some day.
Ms. Strife *reaches her hand out* Igneel.
But before she could say a circle of flames surrounded Igneel and he was gone without a trace.
Ms. Strife: *sad* Igneel.
Mr. Strife: That damn brat!
Mr. Strife: Still to this day I have no idea what he meant by that.
Y/N: (This path is what's best for the dragon slayers?)
Mr. Strife: But I'm glad that you turned out to be a pretty good kid.
Y/N: *smiles* Thanks.
There was a moment of silence.
Y/N: (The awkwardness has returned) H-Hey they are taking a long time with the tissues.
Mr. Strife: *sighs* They aren;t getting tissues.
Y/N: Huh? T-Then what are they-
Mr. Strife: They're visiting Zack's grave.
Y/N eyes widen. As he took a big gulp and was about to ask but Mr. Strife cut him off.
Mr. Strife: It's fine son. You can go. It's in the backyard.
Y/N nods his head and starts to head outside to go see… Zacks grave.
Back with Luz and King
It was the opening night at the theatre to celebrate King's book. The seats were packed and everyone was excited. Some even say that it will be the best, and if it wasn't they will spend every day of my life trashing it…. {Somebody has issues}. However our good old author here is having a little problem. He doesn't have the new book ready yet or more like at all. Right now King was having a nervous breakdown and had to come clean to Pinet.
King: Oh boy. [paces] Oh, man, Aw jeez. [hems and haws] Hemming. Hawing. Piniet, I gotta come clean. We can't announce book two. I can't write without... without…
Pinet: *ominous* Without your writing partner.
King looks at Pinet surprised as Pinet smirks at him evilly. He gets up and tells King to follow him as they both start walking to a nearby dressing room. Pinet opens the door to reveal Luz and baby dragon inside a giant purple Cube.
Luz: King!
Baby Dragon: *bark* Help!
King: Luz! Baby Dragon!
Luz: That snappily dressed lizard trapped us in this shrinking box.
Pinet got annoyed as he squeezed his hand making the box shrink. This made it hit Luz on the head as she fell and baby dragon went to check if she was ok.
Luz: *groans* I'm fine boy. *looks at King* You got to get us out of here!
King: What are you doing with them? Let them go!
Pinet: You wrote Ruler's Reach together. So if you don't want her crushed, you'll write together again.
Both King and Luz give Pinet puppy eyes but baby dragon gives him a growl.
Pinet: Oh don't look at me like that you two *looks and points at Baby dragon* As for you, I should crush you. After what you did to my guards.
King: Huh?
Luz: Baby dragon miiight have bitten one of the guards thumbs off.
Baby dragon: *bark bark* And I'd do it again!
King: *whispers* Good job second-in-command.
Pinet: You know I'm still here right?
King: Maybe?
Awkward silence.
Pinet: Anyway Some of the best books were written in literal crunch time.
The box becomes smaller, scaring Luz.
Luz: That's a toxic mentality that contributes to burnout and unrealistic expectations!
Baby Dragon: (Big words, small brain!)
Luz: King, you have to get us out of here!
King: *growls and marches up to him* Set them free, Now!
Pinet: Not until I get my best-seller. You'll recall you are under contract.
Pinet pulls out the contract and it starts to glow, making King glow as well as he starts to levitate in the air. A hole then opens up in the box making Luz jump back. Baby dragon was going to use the opportunity to escape but Pinet flicked his finger sending King back crashing into baby dragon back inside the box. Just before the whole closes Pinet drops some paper and a pen inside the box.
Pinet: Make your deadline, or you'll never be able to hold a pen again. Just like…
Pinet reaches into his pocket to reveal Jon De Plume but he was a cub. The others watched in horror.
Jon: Help me!
To make matters worse Pinet holded up a breath case with more authors that were in cube form as they were all screaming: "Help!" "Get us out!"
Pinet: *closes the briefcase* I'll leave you to it. [leaves] Looking forward to your next volume! Oh and don't bother telling your dragon friend to burn the box. Unless you two want to be burned alive too! [leaves the room]
King: *panics* We're not getting out of here until we write a book, and that'll take forever! We're cube meat!
Luz: Well, *lifts up her story* I have my story.
Baby dragon wags his tail with excitement.
King: But it's all hugging and crying! I can't put my name on that.
Baby dragon just growled at King.
Luz: King, that is why we are in here! Because YOU, can't compromise! [turns around] All I wanted was to write a dumb story with my friends. But instead they all just left me!
There was a brief silence.
Luz: I wanted the 5 of us to work on some dumb story together. *starts to tear up* But Luke was forced to go on an adventure with Eda, and Y/N went with some other women to do who knows what. {keep in mind Luz doesn't exactly know what Y/N is experiencing right now} *tears start to fall* And I was really hoping you would be there for me but instead you left me alone too. You would rather be famous than spend time and make fun stories with me.
Baby dragon walks up to Luz and rubs on Luz as she just continues to cry. King looked down sadly as he walked over and put his back against Luz.
King: ….Luz I'm sorry it's just… *sigh* You're living your dream. You're becoming a witch.
Y/N is the son of the King of dragon slayers. Soon he's going to be the king of them as well. Luke…. He's just Luke. You all at least have something but me. *gesture to the room* This celebrity is as close as I'll ever get to my dream. *looks down sadly* I didn't know how much I hurt you or how you were feeling. It all went to my head and I'm sorry.
Baby dragon walked up to King and stared at him.
King: And I'm sorry to. *rubs his head* What kind of ruler leaves his subjects behind?
For a split second baby dragon heard a little voice.
?: *rubbing baby dragons head* A true ruler must never leave his rule subjects behind.
Baby dragon shakes his head and barks happily at King, as he smiles.
Luz: *whips her tears and faces King* Hey, [puts a hand on King's shoulder] being with you is one of my favorite parts of this dream.
King smiles as he and Luz hug and baby dragon watches and barks.
Luz: Get in her little guy!
Baby dragon jumps up and joins the hug as they all embrace. But the moment was cut short when the box started to shrink, scaring them.
King: We need a plan!
Luz: I have a plan. But we need to work together this time.
King: Just tell me what to do.
Luz smiles and whispers her idea to King and baby dragon.
Back to the Forest with Luke and the sisters
Merchant: I know you must be confused. The Bloom of Eternal Youth, dead? What if I told you the Bloom never existed at all! And now that I have led you to my nest, I'll suck all the life out of you to satisfy my unending hunger!
Luke: Soooo I can't be the only one that saw this coming right?
Merchant: Wait what?
Lilith: I mean it was quite obvious right Edalyn.
Merchant: Huh?
Eda: I thought there was a 50/50 chance going in. Hard not to admire the tenacity though.
Lilith: Good entrance, but that outfit? Ha!
Luke: Definitely a 4/10, the entrance was a 3/10, seen better.
Eda: Agreed. Just look at his shoes.
Eda and Lilith laugh as Luke just chuckles.
Luke: *smirks* Geez teach we already insulted him, don't murder the poor guy even more.
Eda: *continue laughing* Why? It's true though!
Merchant: Enough! *Everyone stops laughing and looks at him* I would not be made a fool of by a child and a couple of old bats! You will now beg for your life imdeialty!
The three look at each other and nodded
Luke: You're right. *smirks and cracks his neck* Please oh dark one. [draws a two dark circles as his hands transforms into claws] *walks up to him*
Eda: *walks up and cracks her knuckles* Please don't hurt us
Lilith: *walks up and takes out her staff* Woe to us whose fates are sealed.
The three stopped and looked down at the scared Merchant.
Merchant: Tha-That's right, witches and child! Cower! Cower? [gulps]
Back with Y/N
Y/N makes it outside and sees both Aerith and Ms. Strife outside in front of a grave. There was a statue of Zack holding the sword in his hand with his eyes closed, with a smile on his face, bollow the statue read the words "For Our Fallen Soldier". Around him were flowers more than the eye could see.
Zack: So this is what they made for me?
Y/N didn't say anything as he watched them pray. Ms. Strife sees Y/N from the corner of her eye and walks to him.
Ms. Strife: Finish the prayer with her dear.
Y/N: *nods his head* Yes ma'am.
Y/N walks up to Aerith and copies the same prayer motion as he closes his eyes.
Aerith: "Dearest Titan, may the soul of our soldier find peace. Let his sacrifice not be in vain. Let it be a gateway for the new generation, so they can learn from the predecessors' past mistakes. Let them make a bright future for both the boiling Isle and Earth as well."
Aerith finished the prayer and opened her eyes. She bent down and took a flower out of her basket and set the flower down on the grave.
Aerith: Did you know Y/N? *Y/N looks at her* Everyone dies.
Y/N was shocked by what she says
Aerith: No matter the person. Rather you're a witch, a human, dragon, or even a demon. We all die eventually.
Y/N looks down as the wind blows, making Y/N hair flow.
Aerith: We can't choose where we're going to die, or how we want it to happen. *looks at Zack's grave* Especially for the people we don't want to die.
Y/N starts to remember something.
Little Y/N: *crying* B-But *gasp* I-I-I d-don't want you to go.
?: *weak* I-I'm sorry sweetie but I have to.
Aerith: What do you think of death Y/N?
Y/N:... I think death is unfair. *looks at Zack's grave* For someone who could have had a great future, but it was taken away from them by death.
Y/N: *tears start to fall*... Why….. Do people have to die?
Aerith: *looks at Zack's grave* For me I think it's because, no matter how unfair it was, this world knew it was their time. They did what they could so that way the new generation could take over.
Y/N was quiet.
Aerith: I believe that when someone dies they are giving up their life for someone else to take over for them. To do things in their place.
Y/N:... Why?... *looks at Aerith with tears in his eyes* What are they…. What am I supposed to do?
Aerith: *smiles bends down and pats his head* Live Y/N.
Y/N eyes widen as Aerith hugs him.
Aerith: Just live your life.
Y/N eyes widen as he remembers Zack's final words to him.
Zack: *weak* …Y-Your … Going to… Live.
Y/N couldn't help but cry as he let it all out. Aerith held the boy as he was crying. Meanwhile inside the house both Mr and Ms. Strife were watching.
Ms. Strife: Even the strongest of people *whips the tears in her eyes* have to let out all the pain that was built inside.
Mr. Strife: Heh. That damn boy leaving it all on to that kid. *looks at Y/N* He chose a good one though.
Luz and King
We cut back to the convention hall. Pinet is stacking all the cubed authors like a tower as he waits for King and Luz to finish the book.
Pinet: *slowly adds one more author cub* Just one more annnnd-
King: Hey Pinet!
All the cubs fall as the tower crumbles.
Pinet: *squeezes his hand* Dang it.
King: Were done!
Pinet just sighs and gets up and heads to the dressing room. Once he opens the door he sees that the cube the kid and pets were in has gotten so small they were basically squishing each other.
Pinet: That was faster than I expected.
King: That's the miracle of teamwork!
Baby dragon: *groans* [squished behind Luz] Get me out of here!
A tiny hole opens as Luz lifts up the story they wrote. Pinet takes the story, flips through it, and uses his magic eyes to read it fast. He stops reading it for a second and makes the box shrinks more causing the group to panic.
Baby Dragon: [high pitch] *bark* TOO TIGHT!
Pinet: This is much more gushy than your last book.
King: Skip to the finale, because it is quite a payoff.
Pinet just shrugs and rolls his eyes as he continues to read to the finally. Luz and King watch and wait while baby dragon is still groaning. Pinet gets to the last page and looks confused. The last page is a picture of a light glyph.
Pinet: *holds up the last page in frustration* What is this all about!?
Luz: Light spell!
Pinet: Light wh-
Before he could finish Luz reached her hand out, through one of the holes, and activated the glyph. This causes the story to catch on fire and creates a blinding light. Pinet was blinded by it and held his eyes.
King: Ugh, I just realized I should've said enlightening. "Skip to the finale, you'll find it enlightening."
Luz&Baby dragon: *bark* KING!/KING!
Luz: The contract!
King: *grabs his scarf* Pretentious scarf, go!
King twirls his scarf in the air and uses it to wrap around Pinet. He then pulls Pinet on top of the box. Luz sees the contract in his pocket and takes it. She puts it in front of baby dragon who blows a little fire ball from his mouth and burns it up. With the contract destroyed the box around them shatters causing Pinet to fall to the ground and freeing everyone else.
Baby Dragon: [rolls on the ground] *bark bark* Open ground how I missed you!
The group sees Pinet gets up irritated.
Pinet: I made you a star, *takes off the scarf* and this is how you repay me?
King: No! *holds up a briefcase* This is!
King opens the case to release all the authors that were trapped in it. All the authors see Pinet and go to attack him. They began biting on his leg to make him fall over and then started hitting him with their bodies. With Pinet down Luz sees this chance as she grabs both King and baby dragon and starts to head for the exit, but before she could make it she crashes to the guards that were in her way and falls on the ground. Baby dragon gets up and growls at the guards, scaring one of them.
Guard #1: *scared* AHHHHHH! Not you again!
Guard #2: *slapps his back* Pull yourself together Mike!
Mike: But he can smell my fear!
Baby Dragon: *Bark bark* And it smells delicious!
Mike: *terrified* S-S-See he knows I'm afraid!
Pinet: Enough!
Everyone turns to see Pinet pushes all the cubs off of him.
Pinet: You are making this harder than it needs to be! And believe me, I am being very patient! [steps on a cubed author] But let's...
Pinet then takes out a pen and clicks it. The top of the pen grows and becomes an axe as he lifts it over his head and aims it at Luz and the others.
Pinet: cuts to the finish.
Baby dragon jumps in front of Luz and King and growls at him.
Mike: Phew at least we didn't get-
Before he could finish the door opens, making both guards fall on the ground.
Mike: *face first on the ground* I need a new job.
Everyone looks and sees a familiar figure hold some kind of book in their hand. The figure walks into the light to reveal Tiny nose.
Tiny nose: King! I am your biggest fan! [runs over a guard, stands between King and Piniet] And I fought my way back here for you...to read my story?
King: I'm sorry, my lawyer advised me not to look at unsolicited work.
Baby dragon: [narrows his eyes] *bark* Really?
King: What?
Tiny Nose: *sad* B-But But
Pinet: *annoyed and takes her story* Ugh! If I read this, will you go? So I can annihilate them in peace?
Tiny Nose: *happy* Yep!
Pinet drops his axe and adjusts his glasses as he starts to read her book. As he was reading the book the guards get back up dusting themselves off as Luz looks at them confused. They both shrugged but then Mike gets scared when baby dragon narrowed his eyes at him, causing the other guard to face palm. Pinet finishes the book and closes it and what he does next surprises everyone…. He starts to cry.
Pinet: Oh, it's beautiful! You, you must let me publish this! I can make you a star!
Tiny Nose: *excited* Really!?
King: Wait a minute.. *Everyone looks at King* What about King?
Baby dragon: (Seriously King!?)
Pinet: Ugh! *gets up and takes of King sweater* Your old news She on the other hand is the future! [drapes King's jacket and sunglasses over Tiny Nose]
The cubed authors see this as a chance to escape and run off…. All except for King who was pissed.
King: Hey!
Luz: *stops King and holds him* King! We're good then?
Pinet: [waves them away] Yes, quite.
The group leaves, but baby dragon scares one of the guards by grinning evilly at him.
Mike: *scared* He wants my bones.
Guard 2: *sigh* Mike.
Back at the forest
After a brutal beating from the Claw sister and Luke, The merchant was lying there barely conscious with cuts, bruises and blood.
Luke: Aaaah *cracks his neck* That felt great.
Eda: Well, we wrecked this chump. But I guess the Bloom of Eternal Youth isn't real. [sighs]
Luke: *Shrugs* Eh knowing you teach you probably would fine a way to seal it for more money.
Eda: *mess up his head* Hah! You know me so well, kid.
Luke: *pushes her hand of* Don't push it.
Lilith: Well, if it makes any difference, I don't consider you to be a tired old bitty.
Eda/Luke: Really?
Lilith: If you were, you'd be much easier to catch.
Eda: Oh great, you're gonna cart me away to the coven now, are you?
Luke: *Holds up his claw hand* Just know we ain't going easy.
Lilith: *sigh* Not now. Because I want to give you a chance to join on your own! Join me in the Emperor's Coven, Edalyn. [holds out her hand] He could even heal your curse.
Luke: (She's a caring sister I'll give her that.)
Eda: [pushes Lilith's hand down] No, I'll heal it on my own terms. I don't wanna owe him anything.
Lilith: *looks at Luke* What about you young man? Surely the emperor could help you?
Luke: *sigh* Thanks but no thanks. I'm with teach on this one, we'll find a way to cure this on our own.
Eda: *hugs Luke* Aww you learn something after all?
Luke: Let go before I change my mind.
Eda: How about no?
As Lilith watches both of them she couldn't help but smile for the two of them. Even though one has a curse and the other has something else they still find a way to smile and have fun.
Eda: Welp time to head back *summons her staff and looks at Lilith* Catch you later sis.
Lilith: Not if I catch you.
Luke: *summons dark wings* May our paths meet again.
Lilith: I wait for the day.
Both Eda and Luke fly of back to the house as Lilith watches them and smile for them, but then starts to frown and sigh as she starts to remember her mission.
Lilith: Am I really making the right decision….. *whispers* Zack?
Merchant: *weak* Who's….. Zack?
Lilith just gets annoyed and draws a circle. As the circle finishes it hits the merchant as he screams out in pain.
Back with Y/N
After a long crying session both Y/N and Aerith are back at looking at Zack's grave.
Y/N: *whips his eyes* That felt good to let out.
Aerith: Sometimes crying helps.
Y/N: Hehe. That it does.
They share a laugh for a bit.
Y/N: Well guess we should head back inside.
Aerith: Actually Y/N could I see that keychain for one sec?
Y/N: Oh uhh sure.
Y/N takes out the keychain around his neck and hands it to Aerith.
Aerith: *hold it to her chest* I still can't believe he kept this. *closes her eyes* After all this time.
The only sound was wind blowing in the air but then the wind stopped as it was nothing but pure silence. After sometime the silence disappeared and we heard a gentle river stream. Aerith opened her eyes and in front of her was him…. Zack Strife.
Aerith: I had a feeling that would work.
Zack: *tears in his eyes* Aerith.
Aerith: Hey Zack.
Zack: *scratches the back of his head* Heh. I forgot how skilled you are at magic.
Aerith: Hehe. I can't believe you forgot.
Zack: *chuckles nervously* Y-Yea.
There was a brief pause in their conversation until Zack tried to speak.
Zack: A-Aerith I-
He was cut off by Aerith's finger on her lips.
Aerith: You haven't forgotten, haven't you the promise you made to me?
Zack: *looks down* N-No I haven't.
Aerith: *turns around* Hehe. Soooo?
Zack: No matter what *looks up at her* I can't fall in love with you.
Aerith: *giggles* I'm glad you remember.
Zack continued to look down, he couldn't look her in the eye.
Aerith: He's just like you, you know?
Zack: Hehe. That's what a lot of people say.
Aerith: I'm glad…. I feel like he's the one that will lead this generation to a better future.
Zack: Agreed.
Aerith: *smiles and starts to fade* It was good to see you again Zack.
Zack: *nods* Yea…. You too.
Aerith then closes her eyes as she starts to fade away leaving Zack alone. Zack then puts his right hand over his face as he was embarrassed by what happened.
Zack: Seriously dude? You haven't seen your best friend for that long and that's all you could say to her? *sigh* And I judge Y/N on how he approaches his girls.
Back with Aerith. She opens her eyes and sees she's back in the backyard. She smiles and gives the keychain back to Y/N.
Aerith: Thanks for that.
Y/N: *takes it* No problem.
Aerith: Well I'll head back.
Aerith starts to walk back into the house leaving Y/N by himself in front of Zack's grave.
Y/N: A promise huh?
Zack: Ugggh! *appears beside him* Yea I promised her that I couldn't fall in love with her.
Y/N: Why?
Zack: *sigh* It's when I meet Lilith. At first we were all friends, but as time went on the feelings I had for them started to grow. Secretly they had a competition on which one I would choose…. But soon I don't know how, but Aerith noticed that I couldn't choose between them…. Or more so she must have known I secretly liked Lilith more.
Y/N: So she gave up?
Zack: More like she didn't want her to be sad. She wanted her to be happy. After that she made me make her a promise.
Zack: WHAT WHY!?
Aerith: Just promise Zack.
Zack: B-But I can't! Why would I-
Aerith: Zack please… For me.
Zack: B-But I-
Aerith: *pleads* Zack.
Zack was hesitant at first but took a deep breath.
Zack: I…. I promise.
Aerith: *tears in her eyes* Thank you.
Zack: …..Sometimes I wished I never said that…. Then maybe *squeezes both his hands* just maybe I could have both of them.
Y/N looks down and thinks about Zack's words wondering…. Something similar.
Y/N: ….Do you think I'll be the same?
Zack: *smiles* Nah I don't.
Y/N: Huh?
Zack: Knowing you, you probably will find a way to keep them both. A way I could never come up with.
Y/N was confused at first and realized what Zack meant as he started to blush.
Y/N: Z-ZACK THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT!
Zack: *shrugs his shoulder* you sure cause you just ask if you'll be the same.
Y/N: Wait what!?
Zack: *chuckles* Hahahaha! You were so lost in thought you didn't realize you said it out loud.
Y/N: ZACK!
As the two were busy arguing, everyone else was watching inside.
Mr. Strife: Good grief. That boy.
Ms. Strife: It's nice to see the old talking to the young.
Aerith was quiet for a bit as she continued to watch the two bicker.
Aerith: *smiles with tears in her eyes* Y-Yea. It is.
Timeskip
Y/N started to pack up some stuff he got from the Strife family.
Ms. Strife: You sure you want to leave this late dear? You could always stay here and leave in the morning?
Y/N: Thanks but I promised an old friend that I would be back before morning.
Ms. Strife: Ok then come visit real soon.
Y/N: *nods* I will.
Ms. Strife starts to head inside.
Mr. Strife: *walks up to Y/N* One more thing before you leave Y/N. Its about that sword.
Y/N: Oh *looks back at his sword* this?
Mr. Strife: It's called Slayer. Slayer has been passed down from generation to generation with an ability to absorb magic based attacks, and deflect magic based attacks. The blade itself is measured by the wielder's will to fight. If the user is frightened or scared the sword would be nothing but a hunk of metal. But if the users desire is to win the sword will respond and help the wielder
Y/N: I see. (So that explains my recent fights)
Mr. Strife: Though you probably already knew that *get serious* However, there are stories or more so rumors of this blade. It is said that the blade has bathed in a lot of blood of demons and witches that a demon itself was born into the blade.
Y/N: A-A demon?
Mr. Strife: Corrected, however as I said it's a rumor, the last time this demon was seen was at least 100 years ago. So I can't really tell if he is really there or not.
Y/N looked at the sword and remembered that one time he saw a little version of himself.
Y/N: (Could that have been-)
Mr. Strife: I tell you this so you don't end up being consumed by it.
Aerith: Oh come on Mr. Strife. Don't scare him with some silly old ghost stories.
Mr. Strife: *sighs* They aren't ghost stories. Geez *walks away* kids these days. Even rumors can be true.
Mr. Strife leaves Y/N and Aerith alone.
Aerith: Hopefully that didn't scare you.
Y/N: W-Well it did get me thinking.
Aerith: That's good. Oh one more thing.
Aerith: *reaches in her basket and pulls out a flower* Here
The flower he gave her was a lilac flower.
Y/N: *takes it* Thanks Aerith
Aerith: *giggles* No problem. I'm sure she'll like that flower.
Y/N: *Blushes* Wait what?
Aerith: *starts to walk away* Annnd I'm not talking about your human friend.
Y/N just blushes more and shakes his head as he starts to fly off.
Zack: If I had to guess she's talking about-
Y/N: *Blushing mumbles* Not. One. Word.
As soon as Y/N leaves we cut back to the Strife household.
Ms. Strife: Was it wise to tell him that dear?
Mr. Strife: *looks at the fire* I had to. The boy has to know what power lies there. I just hope he'll be ready when it happens.
Aerith: I'm sure he will *the Strife looks at Aerith* He has a burning light that will continue to grow and shine down on this dark world.
Ms. Strife: *smiles* That he does dear.
Mr. Strife: Hehe yep. I expect nothing less from Igneel's son.
Aerith: *surprised* HE'S IGNEELS SON!?
Ms. Strife: You just had to say it didn't you?
Mr. Strife: What!? Aerith I thought you knew!
Back at the Owl House
Y/N makes it back to the owl house and lands down. He starts to walk up the door and opens it and enters.
Y/N: I'm bac-
Luke: *runs up and grabs Y/N by the shoulders* Where is he!?
Y/N: *confused* What uhh who?
Luke: King!
Y/N: I don't know, I just got back.
Luke: *lets go of Y/N* When I get my hands on him, I'm going to rip him limb from limb.
As Luke walks off to look for King, he yells one more thing.
Luke: Come out you little runt! Take your beating like a true King!
As Y/N was pretty much terrified at what just happened he didn't notice Luz coming downstairs.
Luz: Y/N! *hugs him* Your back! *looks at him cornered* Are you ok?
Y/N: *nervous* Y-Yea just uhhh whats wrong with Luke?
Luz: Oh right well….
Flashback
Both Eda and Luke make it back to the house as Eda walks it first and drops her staff.
Eda: Man, I am exhausted.
Luke: *enters after Eda* You said it. *notices Luz King and baby dragon* Guess we aren't the only ones.
Luz: *yawns* Yep.
Eda: *sits in between them* Ah. Well, nothing, a bit of apple blood and a good book can't mend.
Luke: Speaking of books, how did the writing competition go?
Both Luz and King panics.
Luz&King: We got to go!
Both Luz and King ran out the room leaving Eda with baby dragon and Luke. Luke walks over the table confused until he notices the book. He pickles it up and starts to read it. After he finishes reading a couple of pages he closes the book with a very very pissed off look. Meanwhile baby dragon just sits on Eda's lap.
Eda: *nervous* Uhhh Kid?
Luke: I'll be back I just need to go murder that little runt. *yells* YOU HEAR ME KING! YOUR DEAD!
Luke then hears King yelp and starts to head for the sound.
End of Flashback
Luz: And that's what happened.
Y/N: *Sweat drops* I-I see. So where is King?
King: Don't let him find me.
Y/N then jumps a bit and looks behind Luz to see King in a fetal position holding himself inside Luz's hoodie.
King: Don't let him find me.
Before Y/N could say anything Luke then appeared behind Luz and grabbed King by the head with a pissed off look.
Luke: So that's where you've been hiding?
King lets out a "eep!" sound as Luz and Y/N watches.
Luz: L-Luke come on he said he was sorry.
Luke then glares at Luz who responds by giving him puppy eyes. Luke just rolled his eyes and sighed as he dropped King.
Luke: Tch! 10 seconds.
King: W-What?
Luke: I'm giving you a 10 second head start. So start running.
King: *scared* C-Can't I get 20?
Luke: *cracks his knuckles* 9, 8, 7,
King started running out the house. Luke then pulls his sword out of his shadow.
Luke: 654321! TIME TO DIE!
Luke then rushed outside yelling as King was running for his life. Both Y/N and Luz just watched.
Y/N: *nervous* S-Should we-
Luz: Do you want to be at the end of Lukes blade?
Y/N: Nevermind.
Luz: Anyway *looks at Y/N* I'm glad your back.
Y/N: Hehe yea me too.
Luz smiled at Y/N but then looked down blushing.
Luz: H-Hey uhh about that promise you made.
Y/N was confused at first but then remembered.
Y/N: Oh right.
Luz: C-Can we just look at the stars together?
Y/N: Oh are you sure? You don't want to do something else.
Luz: *Looks up at him and shakes her head* No, I just want to look at the stars. (When I'm with you I don't mind what we do.)
Y/N: Ok.
As both Y/N and Luz go upstairs to watch the stars, they didn't notice a certain owl lady watching them while petting baby dragon.
Eda: Ahhh young love *Smiles* makes me miss the old days.
Eda then takes out the picture of her and Igneel out from her hair and looks at it.
Eda:*sigh* I wonder where are you? Igy.
Just then she hears an explosion that makes baby dragon jump from her lap and makes Eda put the picture away back in her hair.
Luke: STAND STILL YOU RUNT!
King: HELP!
Eda: Uff! Come on. Let's go help King before Luke kills him.
Baby dragon: *barks* Agreed.
Timeskip
Y/N and Luz were in Luz's room. Luz ended up falling asleep while looking at the stars. As a result she ended up with a death grip on Y/N forcing him to be in the same room with her, as they were laying on her mat.
Y/N: (Geez Luz why!?)
Just then Y/N heard the door open to reveal Luke standing with his hands in his pockets.
Y/N: *Whispers* Luke? What are you still doing up?
Luke: Well I just came to talk with you two?... Also am I interrupting something?
Y/N: Uhhhhhhhh
Luz: hmmm…. Too noisy.
Both Y/N and Luke see Luz slowly getting up with a very tired look on her face.
Luz: [looks out the window] *groans* Guys it's still late out.
Luke: *sigh* Sorry about that, I just came to talk.
Y/N: About what?
Luke was quiet for a minute until he took a deep breath in and out.
Luke: About my own kind of curse.
In a flash Luz was already sitting in front of Luke's cross waiting for him to continue.
Luz: Ok I'm up.
Both Y/N and Luke just blick at how quick their friend was. Y/N finally recovered and sat beside her. Luke recovered and took another deep breath in and out.
Luke: Let me tell you…
The screen fades black.
Luke: ….From the beginning.
And there you amazing readers go another chapter for you.
I let Luke and Eda get to spend some time together, since they both have demon/curses to deal with.
Y/N went on his own journey to learned about Zack, his family, and one of the girls who were in love with him. He also learned about the demon that lives inside the sword. What hidden powers does it poses?
I wanted to keep the Luz story, since I didn't want to leave her out of it. Also she is our precious little cinnamon roll.
