12. Chapter 12: Adventure in the Elements

Adventures in The Elements

A few days passed for our group of friends, and a lot of things they have learned as well. Y/N learned about Zack's family, Luke had learned to open up to people more, and Luz was able to learn more about her friends. Currently the group was in the living room with Luke reading his fathers book, Y/N petting baby dragon, and Luz reading a hexside pamphlet with King on her belly.

Luz: Guy's listen to this!

Both Luke and Y/N looked up at Luz curious while King was annoyed.

King: Hey! Less Ready, more scratchy!

Luke: Geez King.

Luz: [sits up] Sorry! Now that I'll be a student at Hexside, I wanna learn all about it! I've got a new crush, and it's Education!

Luke: Huh, here that Y/N you have been replaced.

This caused Luz and Y/N to blush as they glared at Luke as he just chuckled. Just because he told them doesn't mean nothing else is going to change, especially him teasing them. Just then the door slams open, spooking everyone.

Eda: Hey freeloaders! Guess what today is?

Luke: Annoy Luke day?

Luz: Is it your birthday?

King: Is it my birthday?

Y/N: Is it someone's birthday?

Hooty: It's my birthday! *stretches to Luke* What did you give me?

Luke: A knuckle sandwich if you don't back off.

Hooty: AWWWWW I LOVE SANDWICHES!

Luke: …..(I hate him.)

Eda: No to all of you… except Luke.

Luke: *sigh* Why me?

Hooty then stretches back inside the door as Eda twirls her staff and enters the room with the Human portal in her left hand.

Eda: It's human treasure day!

Eda then throws the portal as it starts to transform into the same one eye door. The door then opens and Owlbert starts to fly inside of it with a bag full in its beak. As soon as he drops the bag it bursts open to reveal all sorts of human treasures….. Or junk in this case.

Luke: Sometimes I forget she has that.

Y/N: Same here.

Eda: *Jumps on top of the trash pile* Aaaahhh… Fresh garbage.

Luke: Yea *plugs his nose* I can tell.

King: *runs to the pile* Ooo, gimme gimme gimme!

Luke: What is wrong with these people?

Y/N: *Chuckles nervously* Who knows?

Luke: *looks at Y/N* By the way, where did your friend go?

Y/N: *Confused* Huh?

Y/N looked around and noticed baby dragon was gone. He then heard barking and looked and saw baby dragon digging inside of the trash pile.

Y/Nl *Smiles* They got him too.

Luke: Of course.

King: *pulls out a stuffed bear* Yes! Another worthy addition to my army of terror!

King pulls the string

Teddy bear: I love cuddles and kisses.

Luke: If that is terror I hate to see fear.

King: *points at Luke* Silence you! This is his way of worming into his victims heart so they can drop their defenses until "BAM!" He kills them!

Luke: *deadpan look* Uh-huh.

Eda: Anyway, Come on kids, your trash pile is getting cold. *pulls out a clothes hanger* I have never seen such an extravagant earring.

Luke: That and I quote is a clothes hanger.

Eda: Aahh! It even has a good name!

Luke was now banging his head onto a nearby wall as Y/N just chuckled nervously. He noticed baby dragon pulling out something in the trash and bridging it to him.

Y/N: *kneels down* What's that you got there boy?

Baby Dragon: *bark bark* I have no idea! But it looks fun!

Y/N looked at it and noticed it was a baseball.

Y/N: *Picks it up* Aww, an old baseball. I haven't seen one of these in awhile. *notices Baby dragon staring at him and the ball and smiles* You want the ball boy?

Baby dragon: *bark bark* YES YES! *bark bark* I'LL BURN DOWN VILLAGES TO GET IT!

Y/N: *Sweat drops* (Wish I never heard that.) *throws the ball* Go get it boy!

Just in the flash, the baby dragon runs and grabs the ball from the kitchen and brings it back to Y/N. He then starts chewing on it.

Baby Dragon: What secrets do you hold magic ball!?

Y/N just chuckles as he watches baby dragon gnawing at the ball.

Y/N: *looks at Luz* Hey Luz want to join in?

Luz: Sorry Y/N I'm just so invested in Hexside! *gasp* Did you all know that Hexside was built on the bones of its rival school? One it literally conquered!

Y/N: *Sweat Drops* Uhhh no I did not.

Luke: *Stops banging his head* I wish I didn't know.

Eda: [now wearing two clothing hangers as earrings and looking in a mirror]Well I did already. I went there. It was the most harrowing period of my life. [to her reflection] Oh, hello!

Luke: Teach please stop.

Luz: Can you imagine it! Me, in the halls of Hexside, studying with Willow and Gus and- maybe even Amity!

Y/N: *Chuckles* Yea…. *realizes something* Wait, weren't we supposed to get your book back from her?

Luz just thought about it and then starts to panic.

Luz: Oh crap your right!

Both Y/N and Luz start to run of to the door and looks at Luke.

Y/N: You coming Luke?

Luke: *sigh* I guess *looks at Eda* If it means getting away from Ms. I-think-I-have-fashion.

Eda: Please, you're just jealous that I'm rocking this look.

Luke: *rolls his eyes* Yea… No.

Luz: *starts pushing Luke* Alright lets go lets go!

Luke: *struggles* Ok! Ok! Quit pushing!

Y/N was about to run out but noticed baby dragon flying up to him with puppy eyes.

Y/N: *Smiles* Fine you can come to boy.

The baby dragon barks with excitement as he and Y/N leave the house to fall Luz and Luke.

Theme Song

The portal gate opens, as the camera zooms in on it, Y/N, Luz, and Luke are seen in the sky. They slowly start to open their eyes as they realize they are falling. Both Y/N and Luz panic as Luke just looks down with a bored expression. Suddenly something zoomed past and caught the three friends. Both Y/N and Luz open their eyes, Luz behind Y/N holding on to him tight, while Y/N was holding on to the staff, as they were caught by Eda. Luke was at the bottom of the staff hanging on with just one hand. Eda smirked at the friends and flew to her house with her palisman staff.

The door with Hooty opens to reveal the three friends. Luz had Eda staff as she twirled it around and posed, Y/N, that had Zack's sword on his back, held up a fire fist and smirked while doing a pose, and Luke had his arms crossed as he did a little smirk, as he leaned on the door way. Eda then appeared, taking her staff back, with an amusing grin. Luz then gave a sheepish smile as Y/N put his fire fist away and scratched the back of his head letting out a nervous chuckle. Luke just playfully rolled his eyes as he continued to smirk at his friends' antics. King then gets in front of the camera with a pose.

The scene changes to a three frame slot showing Willow, Gus, and Amity. Willow makes a heart with her hands, Gus holds out his arms in celebration, and Amity just ignores, and turns her back, crossing her arms. It then burns away to reveal King, holding a stuffed rabbit, commanding his army of stuffed animals. Suddenly the stuffed animals started to fall on him as some of them fell onto the camera.

The scene changes again to reveal Luke in a dark void. He then holds the necklace around his neck in his hand as he stares at the picture of him and Sally with a sad expression. Behind him was the Little Demon as he stared at him from the black room with a smile on his face to reveal his sharp teeth. Darkness engulfs the camera as we are shown Y/N surrounded by fire with a sad expression. He was holding a fire fist in his left hand and Zack's sword in his right hand. As Y/N looks at them, the fire takes the form of his father and he sees Zack in the reflection of the sword. The fire around him starts to engulf the camera.

The scene then changes with Luz riding on Eda staff, Y/N with fire wings, and Luke with dark wings. They fly around Bonesborough passing by friends and foes. Luz then picks up Eda and King as Y/N and Luke are flying beside them. Suddenly the ground below them starts to rumble and reveals a giant worm creature that lunges right at them. Everyone, minus Y/N and Luke, screams for dear life as they try to hang on to the staff. Y/N and Luke, nod their heads at each other, as they summon darkness and fire in their hands to attack the creature with a battle cry.

The scene changes to the night sky as it slowly comes down to the owl house. The five friends are standing on top of the house. Luz takes out a little ball of light, Y/N summons a small fireball, and Luke holds up a little shadow ball. The three friends share a smile as they send their balls up into the air. The three balls exploded to reveal the title screen.

The three friends make it to the market. Once there they continue running in order to fine their green witch friend.

Luz: *looks around while running* Amity! Amity! Got to find-

Y/N: *Looks to his side and stops walking* Hey I found her!

Both Luz and Luke stopped walking and found their green witch friend, she was wearing black short sleeve dress with orchid leggings and black point shoes with golden crescent moon buckles. Around her neck, she wears an amulet with an orchid gemstone.

Luke: Huh *crosses his arms* And here I thought she would look more like a stuck up princess outside her Hexside uniform.

Luz: *elbows Luke* Don't be rude.

Luke: *grunts* Hey I was just being honest. *rubs his side* What do you think, Y/N? *Doesn't hear Y/N commenting* Y/N?

Both Luz and Luke looked at Y/N and noticed him staring at Amity. This made Luke smirked at his his friend that was in a daze… As for Luz, well she was more-

Luz: *yells* Y/N!

A little annoyed.

Y/N: *breaks out of his daze* Huh? What happened?

Zack: Staring at your girlfriend I see. Looks like you made your other one jealous.

Y/N: *blushes* (ZACK!?... Wait what)

Luz: What happened to you?

Though Luz already knew why he zoned out she was just annoyed that Amity got his attention like that. Y/N was confused until he thought about it more and realized he was staring at Amity and maaaaybe Luz noticed.

Y/N: Oh I was just uhhh *sees Luz's glare and panics* Oh look Amity! Better go say hi!

Y/N runs off with baby dragon behind him leaving an angry Luz and a smirking Luke.

Luke: Seems like someone was staring a little bit too long, don't you think?

Luz: I don't get it! What does he see in her!?

Luke: *crosses his arms* Weren't you the one that wanted to be friends with her?

Luz: *panics* What no I mean yes I

Luke: Face it Luz you're jealous of Amity.

Luz: Brsh! Me!? Jealous of Amity! Your crazy Luke!

Luke: *looks at the direction Y/N was running to* Are Y/N and Amity Kissing?

Luz: *wide eye and looks around* WHAT WHERE!? I WILL RIP THAT GREEN HAIRED WITCHES HAI-... I just walked into that one, didn't I?

Luke: *nods* Completely.

Meanwhile with Y/N

Y/N was running close to Amity.

Y/N: *Waves his hand* Hey Ami-

Twins: *appeared in front of him* HEY Y/N!

Y/N: GCK! AAHH!

Y/N then fell down on his back looking at the sky as both the twins laughed at what just happened. He then noticed Luz and Luke walking to them as well. Luke was chuckling and Luz was glaring at Luke.

Luke: Ok that was funny.

Luz: Seriously Luke.

Luke: *shrugs* What it's true?

Amty: *walks between her siblings* Edric! Emira! Stop bothering him!

Amity holds out her hand and Y/N takes it as she helps him up.

Y/N: Thanks.

Amity: *smiles* No problem.

They both smiled for a bit until they noticed they were still holding hands. They let go with a faint blush as Luke and the twins chuckle from that. Luz on the other hand folded her arms and was glaring. Baby dragon then walks up and rubs his head on Amity's leg and barks.

Amity: Aww I missed you boy.

Amity rubs baby dragon's head as he purrs.

Luke: So why are these two here?

Edric: *walks up beside Luke* Aww come on Luke.

Emira: *leans on his left shoulder* Didn't you want to see us? *gives a flirty smirk*

Luke: Hmmmm. No.

Twins: Ow. That hurts.

Luke: I know.

Amity: *rolls her eyes* Anyway, they insisted on coming for some reason.

Emira: *walks up and hugs Amity's head* Because we love you baby sister!

Amity: *Shoves Emira off* [Emira: Ah!] They've been extra protective and nice towards me to make up for the library incident.

Edric: *walks up beside Amity* And we still apologize everyday.

Amity shoves Edric away. After she said that Luke then understood what she meant.

Luke: (Oh yea. I almost forgot.)

Flashback

Back at the forest Luke was standing over the twins, as they were on their knees, giving them a lecture.

Luke: You two are going to apologize to your baby sister and make things right.

Edric: B-But-

Luke stabs his sword on the ground scaring the twins and gave them a death look.

Luke: Do I make myself clear?

The twins only nodded their heads as they didn't want Luke to chop them into pieces.

Flashback over

Luke: (So that's why huh?)

Amity: *turns to Luz* In any case, *hands the book to Luz* Here's your book back.

Luz: *takes the book* Thanks. *smiles* Sooo. Whatcha think?

Amity: *crosses her arms* It was…. Fine.

Y/N just chuckles from Amity's reaction and walks over to Luz and looks at the book with her. When Luz opened it she, Luke, and Y/N saw a drawing of Amity and Infernal holding each other. Though Inferno looked a little like a certain dragon slayer.

Luz: *pulls out the picture* So fine that you drew yourself with inferno?

Y/N: *Squints his eyes and looks at the picture* For some reason he looks familiar.

Luke: *smirks* Keep looking, you'll figure it out.

Amity, with a deep blush, draws a circle and burns the picture in Luz's hands.

Y/N: Awww I almost had it.

Luke: *smirks* Embarrassed Mittens.

Amity just glared at Luke as he just chuckled.

Luz: *elbow Luke* There's no need to be embarrassed.

Luke: Yea not the first time I seen a girl drew herself with the guy she li-

Before Luke finished that sentence both Amity and Luz smacked him in the back of his head as he fell down on the ground.

Luke: *muffles* Ow.

Y/N just sweat nervously while Luz and Amity had big blushes on their faces. Edric and Emira walked over to Luke and kneeled down to him.

Emira: Got to be more careful on what you say to girls.

Edric: Yea lucky mittens didn't use her abominations on you.

Luke: (Yay me.)

Luz: *clears her throat* Anyway, Maybe we could even start an Azura club at school when we're classmates.

Amity: *confused* Huh?

Y/N: Oh yea. The three of [pulls out the pamphlet] are enrolling at Hexside!

Amity: Oh! Uh, sorry, but to be in my class, you three need to take a placement exam and prove that you've mastered two spells. [shows the requirements on the pamphlet]

Luke: *lifts his head up* Oh boy.

Y/N: *nervous* Huh?

Amity: *looks at Luz* I know you have your light *looks at Y/N* You have your fire and *looks at Luke* He has his darkness.

Luke: *shocked* When did you- *looks at the twins* You told her didn't you?

Twins: *smiles innocently* Maaaaybe?

Amity: Do you three know anything else?

Y/N: *sweat drop* Uhhh well….

Luz: *Panic* Placement exam? Spells?

Zack: *sweat drop* D-Did I forget to mention that?

Y/N: *Glares at Zack* (Gee ya think.)

Zack just chuckles nervously. Both the twins walk over to Amity.

Emira: Quit giving them a hard time, Mittens.

Edric: Yeah, of course they know two spells. Especially Y/N since he is the son of Igneel after all.

Y/N: (Crap! I forgot he was one of the best in hexside! Now people are going to aspect a lot from me!)

Luke: (Usually in this scenario the truth will be a good idea…. But)

Y/N: W-Well you see-

Luz: *covers Y/N mouth* Of course we all now two spells!

Y/N: HMPH!

Luke: *sighs and gets up* (I forget who I'm with)

Luz: And Y/N has a spell that can even rival his father!

Y/N: HMMMMPHH?!

Luke: *sigh and facepalms* (Great Luz. Dig a deeper hole for him.)

Edric: *stars in his eyes* Really!? Can you show it to us right now!?

Y/N was about to raise his finger and say something but Luz, who still had her hands over his mouth, cut him off.

Luz: He can't yet! It's still a work in progress!

All Y/N did was nod his head as Luke just stared at the scene.

Luke: (Can't tell if she just buried him more or pulled him out.)

Amity: Well in any case hopefully you guys do, cause if not you'll be sent to the baby class.

Amity turns the pamphlet showing a toddler chewing on a block with the words "BABY CLASS" written in bold yellow letters. The three looked at it as their faces went pale.

Three friends: (Oh no.)

Edric: Ooh! Big brain idea!

Luke: *raises his eyebrow* You have a brain?

Edric made a hurt look face as Emira just giggled.

Edric: Hurtful.

Edric kneels in front of Amity. Emira leans on Amity's back, trapping her between them.

Emira: What if we all trained together? We could show off what we know!

Edric: And plus mittens can help her boyfriend out with his spell.

Both Amity and Y/N blushed from what Edric said.

Amity: *still in between them* He's not my boyfriend. B-But if you want Y/N I could.

Luke: *nudges* Hear that your girlfriend wants to help you out.

Y/N just glares at Luke until Emira gets off Amity and hugs Luke.

Emira: Annnd we can spend a little time together *whisper* And do a little "special training"

Luke: *light blushes* (This woman is going to be the death of me)

Luke looks over at Y/N and notices him giving him a teasing look. Even though Luz still had her hands over his mouth he can tell what Y/N was saying.

Luke: (Karam is a bitch.)

Luz: Anyway we can't because uhhh, we have other training plans in a very far away place that I have to go to right now. *takes her hands off Y/N mouth and drags his arm* Come on guys lets go.

Y/N: *Struggles* Luz! Hold on! Stop! Pulling!

Luz ends up pulling Y/N as baby dragon gives a little bark and follow after them.

Luke: *sigh* Those two.

Luke was about to walk but noticed Emira still hugging him.

Luke: Mind letting me go?

Emira: Hmmm I guess. Buuut have you given me a nickname yet?

Luke: (Crap I forgot about that.) It's a work in progress.

Emira: Ehhhh. You sure you didn't forget?

Luke: (Damn it.) Positive.

Emira: Ok then. Hopefully the next time I see you, you have one for me.

Emira then lets Luke go but then decides to lick his neck making Luke jump a bit. Luke was going to question it but knew she would probably make it harder for him to stay mad. So instead he started walking were his friends while Emira giggled. She then looked to her siblings and saw them staring.

Emira: What?

Amity: You do realize that was inappropriate right?

Edric: And he could kill you right?

Emira: 1. I don't care and 2. No he wouldn't, he loves me too much.

Amity: And how exactly do you know that?

Emira: He might not show it but he's just being shy. *sighs lovingly* But I'm a patient girl. I can wait until he's not shy anymore.

Edric: Em you scare me.

Amity: Honestly all your doing is bothering him.

Emira: Well maybe if you acted more on your feelings the dragon boy would be yours instead of Luz's.

Amity: *blushes* I don't like Y/N like that!

Edric: *smiles* She never said Y/N.

Amity: Who else was she talking about!? And who's side are you on!?

As the siblings continue bickering we cut back to them with Eda in the kitchen cooking. She was using her severed hand as a book rest as she was reading off it.

Eda: [humming] Wow, a surprisingly peaceful domestic moment. When will it be ruined?

Luz: EDA!

Eda: I just had to jinx it didn't I.

Luz came running inside spinning and call out Eda's name with Y/N and Luke just walking inside.

Luz: Eda! Eda! Eda! *falls on the ground*

Y/N: *sweatdrop* Uhhh you ok there Luz?

Luke: And we mean physically not mentally.

Y/N: *looks at Luke* Really?

Luke: *shrugs* What it's true.

Luz: *turns her body to Y/N and Luke* No everything is not ok! *turns to Eda* Eda you have to teach all of us a new special right now.

Eda: Sorry kids! I'm busy! These vegetables won't cook themselves... yet.

Eda then grabs a nerbay potion and pours it onto the nearby vegetables. After she does this they start growing arms and legs.

Luke: What the-

Eda: Cool right. *looks at the vegetables* Alright, everybody get into the pot.

As soon as she said that, the vegetables started running away.

Eda: Why do I always think that could work?

Luke: *deadpan look* Why indeed?

Luz: *stands up* But we need to know two spells to get into decent classes at Hexside. I can make light glyphs. [pulls one out and activates it]

This made everyone shield their eyes from the bright light.

Luz: *points to Y/N* Y/N can use his fire ability *points to Luke* and Luke can use his darkness. But other than that that's all we know.

Luz then falls face first on the floor. Y/N walks over and rubs her back to try to cheer her up.

Eda: And whose fault is that?

Luz&Luke: Yours!

Eda: Ha! You got me there!

Luke: *Facepalm* Not something to feel proud of teach.

Luz: *stands up* Just teach us a spell now. Any spell! It can be the darkest evil.

Y/N&Luke: *yells behind Luz* Luz No!

Luz: *flinches & pouts* Ok fine no evil spell.

Both Y/N and Luke just sigh in relief, the thought of Luz doing a darkest spell didn't sit right with them

Eda: Well, I have been researching my texts on wild magic, but I'm much too busy right now. [throws book in the pot]

Luke: *sighs* Alright we get it teach, you're way too busy for your students.

Both Y/N and Luz looked at Luke confused.

Eda: That's right.

Luke: *puts his hands behind his head* But I can't help but wonder, how would it look if your apprentices were put in the baby class?

Eda then flinched a bit.

Luz and Y/N started to pick up on what Luke was doing and started to follow behind.

Y/N: You got a point Luke.

Luz: And if that is bad image what her customers would think.

Eda's whole body just jolted.

Luke: Yea the'll probably think she was trying to sell them some baby stuff and get insulted.

Eda becomes pale. This would mean she would lose her business!

Eda: Ahhh a customer *pulls out a lamp* Can't I introduce you to this lovely product in the human world?

Customer: Wait, aren't you the teacher of those students in the baby class?

Eda: *nervous smile* Uhh T-That's right?

Customer: Are you trying to sell me baby clothes!

Eda: W-Wait T-This item isn't like that!

Customer: Yea right I'm never coming here again!

Eda's whole body just stopped working.

Luke: *walks away* Well , come on guys, it seems our teacher is too busy for us.

Y/N: *walks with Luke* Yea guess we have no choice then.

Luz: *walk with them* See ya teach, well enjoy the baby class as your students.

As the three friends start to head upstairs they are cut off by Eda sliding in front of them with her hands out.

Eda: HOLD IT RIGHT THERE! *pants* You three! *pants* Aren't! *pants* Going anywhere!

The three friends look at Eda with "shocked" faces.

Eda: *stands straight and points at them* Listen up! I am going to train you three so you can learn a new spell! Got it!?

The three friends stood there in silence until they started to smile.

Luz&Y/N: *High fives each other* Yea it worked! We get to learn another spell!

Luke: *smirks* Still can't believe that it worked.

Eda was confused at first but then she realized what just happened.

Eda: (THEY TRICKED ME!)

Eda then fell to her knees. She couldn't believe that she fell for that bait.

Luke: *walks up to Eda* Sooo how are you feeling?

Eda: How could I, of all people, fall for that?

Luz: *Walks up to them* We learn from the best.

Eda: *surprised but smirks* Heh. I guess you three did. *stands up* Well then if I'm going to train you three then I know just the thing.

Y/N: What's that?

Eda: Magic bootcamp!

?: Did someone say bootcamp!?

The group turns their heads and sees King holding a stuffed animal in his hand.

King: *opens the door* I agree to run it. We'll rise at dawn! You'll carry me on your back as I yell hateful things about your performance!

Luke: Wow that's helpful.

Eda: Nope. You'll have no part in this. Luz needs to focus, and I can't have her go all weird when you do something adorable.

King: I am not adorable! [stomps his foot]

Luz: Aww, he stomped his little foot!

Luke: Yeaaa leaving King is the right choice.

King lets out a little squeal and tries to slam the door shut but fails, he tries again and falls, he then slams it harder and it stays shut.

Y/N: Aww poor King.

Eda: Speaking of which, you might want to leave your dragon buddy behind.

Y/N: Awwww what how come?

Eda points at baby dragon, who was gnawing at the baseball.

Baby dragon: *gnawing* What secrets do you hold, magic ball!?

Eda: Pretty sure he would also be a distraction.

Y/N: Come on I won't be distracted.

Luke: She wasn't talking about you.

Y/N was confused until he heard Luz saying "Aww". He turns around and sees Luz with her phone out recording baby dragon.

Luz: He's gnawing at the cute ball.

Y/N: *Sweat drop* I see.

Eda: Yea. *claps her hands* Alright listen up!

Luz stopped recording and look over at Eda.

Eda: We have no time to waste. You three will have to follow my teaching exactly. We gotta go somewhere special.

Luz: *puts her hands on the table* Yes.

Eda: A place where magic energy just flows.

Luz: [climbs onto the counter; louder] Yes!

Luke: *sweat drop* (Geez Luz, easy there)

The scene then cuts to everyone on top of the mountain, snow all around, wearing winter coats, all except for Y/N who still had his normal clothes on. Luke had on a Black tailcoat Jacket.

Eda: A place like the Knee!

Luz/Y/N: YEEESSS!/AWESOME!

Both Luz and Y/N cries echo across the mountain. The camera zooms out to show the group on top of the titans knee.

Luke: It took you that long to tell us that *gets hit in the head by Eda* Ow!

The scene cuts back to the group walking around in the snow.

Y/N: Ahhh man how I love not wearing anything hot in the snow!

Eda: Fire dragons bodies are built to survive even the coldest of temperatures.

Luke: That explains why you would always hate warm clothing.

Luz: *giggles* Yea mama would practically force you to wear one.

Y/N: I would be burning up like crazy!

We see a little Y/N with his head down, pleading to Ms. Noceda.

Y/N: I'm begging you Ms. Noceda! Please don't let me wear that!

Ms. Noceda was holding up a green sweater with yellow strips around, and in the center was a red dragon.

Ms. Noceda: Y/N, honey, it's much too cold for you to be walking around with nothing on your arms.

Y/N: B-But I get too hot in those things! It's almost like I'm being burnt alive!

Ms. Noceda: Come on honey. Luz picked this one just for you.

Luz: *blushes* Mama you promised you wouldn't say anything!

Ms. Noceda: *giggles* Sorry mija.

Y/N really did appreciate the gesture from Luz, but at the same time he didn't want to be burning alive.

Y/N: *lifts his head up* As much as I love the thought I really-

Y/N stopped talking as he saw Ms. Noceda's face. He felt his whole body shaking in fear as he knew that arguing was out the window.

Ms. Noceda: Y/N. You are going to wear this without further argument. Do I make myself clear?

The scene cuts to Y/N wearing the sweater as he and Luz were walking to go pick up Luke. Y/N was already sweating up a storm.

Luz: I think that sweater looks great on you.

Y/N: Gee thanks.

Luz: *giggles* You really hate wearing it.

Y/N: no offense to you Luz but yes I really do! I feel like I'm being cooked alive in this thing!

Luz: *hugs Y/N* Still though *blushes* I'm glad you're wearing it.

Y/N: Luz. [Luz looks up at Y/N] I know you're trying to hug me to make me feel better… But please I'm hot enough as is!

Luz just giggles and still hugs Y/N, much to his annoyance.

Y/N: How come you didn't defend me!?

Luz: What? She's my mama, I can't go against what she says.

Y/N: …..Touche.

Eda: Alright love birds [both Y/N and Luz blushed] Time for some learning. The earliest witches came to the Knee to develop their magic, drawn to its natural power.

Eda turns her head to show their pupils something. The friends followed Eda's gaze and saw abandoned ruins covered in snow.

Y/N: *amazed* Wow!

Luz: It's beautiful!

Luke: Not bad.

Eda: Though *gesture to her right* It's not without its dangers.

The group was confused until they looked where Eda was gesturing. They saw a huge yeti-like monster. Its body is covered by white fur. Its claws, which have no fur, are purple. It had many light yellow sharp teeth. Luz yelled and held onto Y/N while Y/N and Luke kept looking at the creature.

Luke: The hell is that?

Eda: The Slitherbeast!

Y/N: Cool!

Luz: Not cool! Scary!

Eda: Relax Luz. As long as you don't mess with him he won't mess with you.

Eda starts to walk as Luke starts walking behind her.

Luke: Why do I get the feeling that's going to come back and haunt us?

Both Y/N and Luz were still looking at the beast. Zack then appeared beside Y/N.

Zack: Hmmmm. Nope that's not it.

Y/N: What?

Zack: There used to be one I fought a lot back when I was learning more hand-to-hand combat.

Y/N: How can you tell it's not it?

Zack: The one I fought had a whole lot of battle scars, from his other fights, and was bigger then that one.

Y/N: I see.

Luz: Y/N. [Y/N looks at Luz] Are you talking to someone?

Y/N: Huh? Oh no one, just myself.

Luz: Uh-huh. Well lets go catch up to Eda and Luke.

Y/N: Can't I fight it?

Luz: *Shocked* What no! Did you not hear Eda!?

Y/N: I know but *looks at the Slitherbeast* it might help me get better at my magic.

Luz: Lets try something least deadly to learn your magic.

The two friends heard something break and looked and saw the Slitherbeast had bite through the tree trunk it was gnawing on and looked at the two. Y/N wasn't scared, Luz on the other hand yelped and pulled Y/N to where Eda and Luke were. Luke and Eda noticed them.

Luke: What took you guys so long?

Y/N: *Chuckles* Sorry we were just admiring the Slitherbeast.

Luke: Please tell me you aren't planning on fighting it?

Y/N just looks away nervously and whistles.

Luz: He was.

Luke just sighs and facepalms.

Eda: (He really takes after his teacher) Anyway *gestures to the spot their standing on* This is where we're going to set up shop.

Luz: We'll definitely learn our second spell here! *starts walking through the ruins*

Y/N: *walks behind her*

Luz: Gorgeous views, magic in the air.

Y/N: And best of all, we'll do it toge-

Before Y/N could finish he got hit in the face by a fireball and got sent flying into a nearby ruin.

Luz: Y/N! *runs to him*

Luke: *wince* Ooohhh that had to hurt.

Eda: Agreed.

While Luz went to cheek on Y/N Eda and Luke looked over the rocks to see who shot the fireball. What they saw was both Edric and Emira standing beside each other and Amity with a wand in her hand.

Amity: Sorry whoever is over there!

Luke: Oh boy. Uhhh Luz.

Luz: *recognises the voice and goes pale* Oh no. *begins to panic* Eda! Forget teaching us a new spell! Just make us disappear!

Eda: Well, okay, but I've got a 60/40 record of making you re-appear.

Luke: *Deadpan look* Teach that's not what she meant.

Eda: *confused* What? *realizes what she meant* Oooohhh

Luke: Would you look at that? The teacher learned something. *gets hit in the head* Ow!

Edric: *waving* Hey guys!

Emira: *waving* Luke! Luz!

Edric: It's us!

Luz: *gets beside Luke* Ok let's do this.

Luke: Do wha-

Luz: *stands up and waves* Hey guys!

Luke: Oh boy.

Eda: *gets up* Who are they?

Luz: [grabs Eda's jacket] Be cool! If they know we haven't mastered two spells, they'll think we belong in the baby class!

Luke: *gets up beside Luz* Or, hear me out, it's a crazy idea, we tell them the truth.

Luz: You're right Luke… That is crazy.

Luke: Why me?

Amity: [walking toward them] What's that about the baby class?

Eda: Only that it's for babies and these two here clearly aren't babies. [to a glaring Luz and a facepalming Luke] Nailed it.

Luke: *sigh* Is it too late to say I am not associated with you?

Luz: Anyway Amity! [slips off the rock onto the ground]

Luke just chuckled and Luz glared at him.

Luz: *look back at Amity and posses on the ground* Wha... What are you doing here?

Amity: I'm here to train. I'm trying to beat Ed and Em's highest score on the exam.

Emira: [popping up from behind Amity] Aw, Mittens. That's impossible!

Edric: [also popping up from behind Amity] She still needs to use a training wand to learn new spells.

Luke: Huh. I'm surprised she needed one coming from you.

Edric: *offended* Hey! I'm a big witch!

Luke: *smirks* Wasn't talking about you Ed. *puts his hand on his shoulder* I know you're good at magic.

Edric: [cut of guard] *smiles* Thanks Luke.

Emira smiles for the two and registers what Luke said.

Emira: Wait a minute. Was that directed at me!?

Luke: *shrugs his shoulders* Maaaaybe.

Emira: *pouts* Meany.

Everyone but Emira chuckled at what happened.

Amity: Oh right *looks around* Where is Y/N? I figured he'd be with you.

Luz: *sweats* hehe. W-Well.

Luke: Your fireball ended up hitting him and making him crash into a nearby ruin.

This made Amity flinch for a bit.

Amity: Oh no! *worried* Is he alright!?

Y/N: *walks up and rubs the back of his head* Yea I'm fine.

This made everyone jump a bit.

Luke: Geez man give us a warning next time.

Y/N: *Chuckles nervously* Sorry about that.

Luz: *walks up to Y/N* Are you ok?

Y/N: Yea. The fire didn't hurt *rolls and cracks his shoulder* It was crashing into the ruins that hurt the most.

Amity: *looks down sadly* I'm sorry.

Y/N: *walks up and pats her head* Hey now, I know you didn't mean to. *smiles* I'm fine really.

Amity smiles and blushes a bit as the others watch. Luke and the twins smile and Luz looks at the scene with jealousy.

Edric: Anyway, So what are you guys doing here?

Y/N takes his hand off Amity's head… much to her disappointment.

Y/N: Oh were here-

Luz: *cover his mouth* To work on our powerful magic spells!

Luke: *facepalms* (Got damn it Luz.)

Edric: *Excited* OOOHHH REALLY!?

Emira: *excited* Can we see!?

Luz: I-It's still a work in progress!

The twins made a sad look but then looked at Luke.

Edric: What about you Luke?

Luke: (I should tell the truth.) [looks at a pleading Luz] (But I'll never hear the end of her whining) *sigh* Mine is still a work in progress too.

Emira: Welllll *hugs him* Maybe I can help I have a "special" way that might help you

Luke just light blushed and glared daggers at the older blight as she smiled and winked at him.

Luke: Yea I prefer if my teacher helped instead of you doing any of that.

Emira pouts at Lukes comment.

Luz: *takes her hands of Y/N's mouth* Yea. Eda's a pretty incredible teacher.

Eda: [carrying a basket of snowballs] Kids! I shall now teach you how to identify different types of snow- by taste! [holds out a snowball] Go on, eat the snow. [shoves it in Luz's face]

Zack: *facepalms* Not a good start Eda.

Luke: Teach no right person would think of- Y/N has a bunch of snow in his mouth?

Everyone looked and saw Y/N indeed with a whole bunch of snow in his mouth.

Y/N: *Muffled* Whut?

Both Luz and Amity couldn't help but giggle at what Y/N was doing while Luke just facepalms.

Amity: I don't think the Owl Lady wants to show us any of her powerful spells.

Luke: You have no idea

Just then Eda also had a mouth of snow in her mouth as well. Both Y/N and Eda swallowed all the snow in their mouths.

Eda: *Grabs her head in pain* Ahhh! Brain freeze!

Y/N: *smirks* Hehe. Well lucky for me I don't get brain- On no wait there it is. *gribs his head in pain* My head hurts!

Edric grabbed a bunch of snow in his head and was about to eat it but Luke and Emira slapped it out of his hand.

Edric: Aww.

Luke: Don't even think about it.

Emira: Well if you want *looks at Luke* You could help mittens with her training.

Luke: *looks at Amity and sighs* Sure why not?

Emira: *hugs Luke tighter* Yay! *whispers* And I might just give you a reward for helping your sister-in-law.

Amity: Don't I get a say in this?

Twins: Nope.

This made Luke shiver as Emira pulled Luke to their camp as both Edric and Amity followed behind her.

Edric: *waves at them* See ya guys around.

Luz waves back as she looks and sees both Y/N and Eda still in pain.

Luz: Eda! Could you please take this seriously?

Eda: You need to take me seriously. Go taste snow without my guidance, see where it gets you.

Y/N: *rubbing his head* I have to agree on that.

They both turned and saw Luz looking down sadly.

Y/N: Maybe we should take this a little seriously Eda.

Eda: I [looks at Luz] *sigh* Ok Don't worry kid. [ruffles Luz's hair] If you listen to me, soon you'll be doing magic just like everyone else.

Luz: Okay. I trust you.

Eda: First up is you Y/N.

Y/N: *nods his head* Right.

Eda: Now for you it might be a little hard. You see, Dragon slayers are known to use their main element. It's what makes them unique.

Y/N: I see.

Eda: So what you need is to find a magic that you feel comfortable with.

Y/N: *looks at his keychain* Got it. Time to do training.

Y/N starts to walk away but was stopped by Eda.

Eda: One more thing *pulls out moss from her pocket* Make sure to smell this moss. *hands it to him*

Y/N: *takes it* Gotcha.

Y/N starts to walk away leaving a shocked Luz.

Eda: Oh right *takes so more out of her pocket* Here's some for you too. Now the trick is, [shoves the moss up her nose] you really gotta get it up in there.

Luz: *frowns* (This is going to be a loooong day.)

With Luke

The twins were sitting on a log watch as both Luke and Amity stare each other down. Luke had his hands in his pocket and Amity had her training wand in one hand and the Magic 101 book in her other reading from it.

Luke: Ready?

Amity: *closes the book and looks at Luke* Ready.

Luke: *smirks* Well *takes one hand out and holds it in front of him* Show me what you got… Mittens.

Amity glares at Luke, She then draws a spell circle and launches a fire ball directly at him. Luke draws a spell circle on his right side and balls his hand into a fist. His whole right arm becomes black with claws. The twins saw it and were amazed.

Edric: Woooow! So that's what his dark magic looks like!

Emira: Yea. *bits her lip* It's so hot.

Edric just shuttered from what his sister said, but also admitted it was as well. Luke then tries to catch the fireball with his claw arm. It makes him slide a bit as he grunts a little but he is able to throw it up into the sky as it explodes. The Blight siblings were amazed and shocked that he was able to do that.

Luke: *shakes his hand* That all?

Amity growls as she draws another circle, this time it was bigger than the last one. Luke, knowing he couldn't block this one, takes his other hand out of his pocket and draws a spell circle around him. He then slowly starts to fall into the shadow avoiding the fireball, as it explodes where he was. As the dust starts to settle everyone notices Luke was gone.

Amity: Where'd he-

Luke: Right behind you.

Amity turns around shocked to see Luke exiting from her shadow and was about to punch her in her face. She ducked just in time and was about to draw a spell circle to fire a fireball at him but noticed that she couldn't move.

Amity: *struggling* W-Why can't I-

Luke: Shadow possession.

Amity was confused. Luke looked down which shockingly made Amity look down as well. Once she did she saw that her and Luke's shadow was connected to each other.

Luke: A little move I've been working on. As long as my shadow is connected with my opponent they will copy every single thing I do.

Amity: Got to say I'm impressed.

Luke: Thanks. You know that's actually the nice's thing you said to me.

Amity: Don't push it.

Luke: Noticed.

Luke released his shadow possession spell off Amity giving the young blight control of her body again. Amity then got up and dusted herself off.

Amity: Glad to know you weren't planning to do anything.

Luke: Ouch. I can't believe that's what you think of me Mittens.

Amity: *glares* Call me that again and I will burn you to ashes.

Luke: Geez ok ok. Can't you take a joke?

Edric: *walks up beside Amity* It's how she always is.

Emira: *walks up and rubs Amity's head* It means she likes you.

Luke: Oh well I'm flattered, but I'm pretty sure your sister would be jealous.

Emira: Hmmm. Maybe a little.

Amity: *eyes twitch* I hate all of you.

The group minus Amity share a laugh as she just glares at them.

Amity: Anyway, anyways I could improve?

Luke: Wow the top student getting help from-

Before Luke could finish that sentence Amity drew a fire spell making Luke yelp and duck before it hit him. It ended up hitting a nearby tree, burning it to ashes. Luke looked up and saw Amity with a dark look.

Amity: Next time you won't be so lucky.

Luke: *gets up and dust himself off* Ok ok geez. (Remind me not to piss her off when she has a wand.) Anyway you need to work on using spells without the wand.

Amity: But this wand is-

Luke: To help you practice I get that, but you do know how to use some spells without it don't you?

Amity: Y-Yes I do.

Luke: During our fight you didn't, instead you focused only using the fire spell with the wand instead of using your other spells. In battle you can't rely on one spell to win a fight. You also can't rely on your wand as well, since it seems it runs on a limit.

Amity was shocked by what he said.

Luke: I have eyes too Blight. I can't tell based on the battery life on the side that it has a limit to how much magic it can use. If you aren't careful you'll run out all of its magic and… You could possibly die.

This made everyone flich a bit from Lukes response. Luke realized what he just said tries to play it off.

Luke: But that's just a possibility. Just try working on using the spell without the wand.

Amity: *nods her head* I'll try.

Amity starts to walk away and gives what Luke said some thought. Luke and the twins watch her leave into the woods.

Edric: Well that was something.

Luke: Yea.

Emira: I'm pretty sure she'll get the hang of it. *looks at Luke* Thanks for helping her.

Luke: I mean I didn't have much of a choice. You pretty much forced me to.

Emira: Hey I promised you a "special reward* didn't I?

Both Luke and Edric just shivered from that.

Luke: Yea I remember.

Luke then felt his heart beat fast and his chest started to tighten. His breath became hazy and he felt dizzy. Luke was doing his best to play it off but the twins noticed Luke;s expression and got worried for him.

Edric: Luke are you ok?

Luke: *nods his head weakly* Y-Yea. Just tired.

Both the twins looked at each other and nodded their heads. They both grabbed Luke arms and dragged them to their tent.

Luke: W-What are you two-

Edric: Take you to rest up.

Luke: Hey hold on a-

Emira: No back talk! Let's go!

Luke just sighs heavily and continues to walk with the twins.

Luke: (This is what happens when you have people who care about you.) *smirks* (It's not that bad.)

Back at the Owl House

King: This is ludicrous! I once led armies. I can lead a dang boot camp! But I have no recruits. [looks at New Guy and Francois] Or do I?

Hooty: Yep! It's your faithful pal Hooty reporting for duty! Up at dawn, taking orders all day long!

King: Ugh, no! You are too desperate! [goes inside, returns with all his toys] Role call! [says their names as he puts them down] New Guy, Aloysius Turtle, Chip, Beefy Bob, Francois. [pause, picks up Francois] Oh, you're perfect already! As for the rest of you, I'm only saying this once so listen up!

New Guy falls onto Aloysius Turtle.

King: Huh it's no fun if they don't tremble.

King then looks over and sees Vegetables laughing, as they throw all the cooking supplies off cliff. They cheer as they run back.

King: Ohh okay, alright. [looks between the vegetables and his toys] Yep, an idea is happening!

With Y/N

Y/N was standing in the middle of the forest as he was looking around.

Y/N: This place should do. *takes out his keychain* Ok Zack you ready.

Zack: *starts to appear* Ready when you are.

Y/N: *smiles* So any tips?

Zack: *puts his thumb under his chin* Hmmm. Well like Eda said you have to exit out of your element. But lucky for you I think I have just the spell for you.

Y/N: Really? What's that?

Zack: *smirks* Lightning.

Y/N: Lightning?

Zack: *nods his head* Yep. It's a little something I was able to master after some time.

Y/N: I see.

Zack: Now the key thing to remember about lightning is a peace of mind. Focus on the positive energy and the negative energy of the magic. Separate the two energies creates an imbalance. The two wish to restore balance and in the moment they come crashing back together making lighting.

Y/N: *nods his head* Ok got it.

Y/N starts to walk a little bit and closes his eyes.

Y/N: *puts his hands together in a prayer* (Focus on the negative energy and positive energy.)

Y/N takes a deep breath in and out and then slowly stretches out his arms, his right arm on top and the left on the bottom. Suddenly a spark was heard and lighting was covering his right and left hands. He circled his right arm clockwise and his left arm counter clockwise as a blue circle was forming. Zack was looking at all of this shocked. Soon the circle was complete and Y/N slowly brought his hands back with his left arm out with two of his finger tips out and his right arm behind him coping the same motion. He then opened his eyes and quickly thrust his right arm in the circle. Electricity was coming around the circle to Y/N's fingertips and was about to discharge, but it ended up exploding in Y/N's face causing him to stumble backwards into the snow. Y/N let out a loud yelp and landed face first into the snow. Y/N struggles to get out as Zack watches in pure shock.

Zack: (Incredible. It took me weeks for me to at least get some type of spark from that spell. Not only that I didn't have to explain to him the movements to make it easier. He was able to figure that out on his own.) *smiles* (This generation is something else.)

Y/N: *gets his head out of the snow* Man! *looks over his shoulder* That was so cool! It felt like the lightning was surging through me! *looks at his fingertips* Even though it was just at my fingertips!

Zack: *chuckles* Yea *floats over to Y/N* It's how lightning is sometimes.

Y/N: *sits down on the snow* Yea. It really is powerful.

Zack: Remember you are the guide for the two energies. *sits down beside him* You always have to keep a keen focus.

Y/N: *nods his head* Gotcha.

Y/N then turns his head and looks around the snowing forest enjoying its environment.

Zack: *smiles* I'm glad you're picking up on this fast.

Y/N: *Smiles* Yea…. Sooooo Eda's lesson.

Zack: *sighs and facepalm* Yea I know. Her lesson was…. Well strange.

Y/N: Yea it was.

Zack: But I want to ask how did you feel when you ate that snow?

Y/N: *Touches his stomach* Well besides the brain freeze, I felt magic entering my body making me stronger in a way. *looks around the snow* I get the same feeling from the air I breathe as well.

Zack: Can you tell why?

Y/N: *looks in the sky* It's because… Magic is everywhere.

Zack: *nods his head* Yep, correct. *looks at the sky* Everything in the Boiling Isle consists of magic. The air we breathe, the food we eat, and the ground we walk on. Magic is everywhere and in order for a person to use magic they must know that. A witch can cast a spell but they must understand what they are using and how they can master it.

Y/N: Right got it.

Zack: *looks at Y/N and smiles* So how do you feel when you breathe the air?

Y/N: *hold his stomach* Well I feel the magic entering inside me and boasting my own magic. But not by much. Though when I eat the snow I get that same feeling. The snow increases my magic as well but not by much.

Zack: Not as much as fire right?

Y/N: *nods his head* Yea. That time when I ate fire when I fought Warden Wrath, my magic power skyrocketed.

Zack: That's what happens when a dragon slayer eats his/her element, they get a huge increase of their magic power, different from when they eat anything else from the Boiling Isle. Eating one's element is the key to their magic strengthening.

Y/N: I see. *stands up* Alright time for me to get better control on this lightning.

Zack: Y/N.

Y/N: Don't worry I won't tell Luz. I know she is struggling with Eda's lessons.

Zack: *Sweat Drops* Yea Eda is more…. To the point instead of explaining more about it

Y/N: But still, for Luz to be a powerful witch she needs to learn more about the magic she uses and where it comes from. *smiles* I believe she'll figure it out.

Y/N then starts to walk back to the middle of the clearing to practice his lightning magic.

Zack: (Well that was one of the things I was going to ask you, but the main thing I wanted to ask you is: What is your dream Y/N?) *gets up* (I know that you want to use your magic to protect others, but what is something you truly want to achieve besides that?)

Y/N tries drawing the circle again and directs the lighting to a nearby tree but it explodes in his face again. Y/N falls head first into the snow again.

Y/N: *mumbles* Gotdamn it!

Zack: *chuckles* (Well you still have plenty of time. Maybe you'll find it out faster then I did.)

Zack: Huh? A dream? I never really gave it much thought. I kinda live in the now you know. I worry about that stuff later.

Zack: Heh. Maybe.

Y/N: *Muffle* You say something Zack?

Zack: Oh nothing.

Back at the owl house

Baby dragon was still gnawing at the ball.

Baby Dragon: *growls* What is with this thing!?

Baby Dragon was also trying to figure out. Why was he so interested in this little ball? Just then a memory played in his head.

A teenage boy, darkness blocking his face, was holding a similar ball in his head as he held it up and threw it. Baby dragon ran to get it. He came back with the ball in his mouth as he set it down on the ground in front of him as he panted happily. The boy bent down and rubbed the baby's head. The darkness around the person's face started to disappear revealing a teenage Igneel.

Igneel: Good boy_. Good boy

The memory ended as baby dragon shook his head and looked at the ball as he moved it around with his paw.

Baby dragon: *Whimpers* Igneel.

Just then some of the vegetables were sneaking up on baby dragon and tried to attack him, but baby dragon already knew since he could smell them and used his fire to burn them perfectly as they "died". Baby dragon looked at them as his stomach began to rumble. He looked at the crispy vegetables.

Baby dragon: *bark bark* Food time.

Baby dragon started eating all the vegetables, forgetting everything that happened.

In the snow Forest

Currently Amity was sitting on a log, looking down at her wand thinking about what Luke said.

Luke: In battle you can't rely on one spell to win a fight.

Amity: *sighs* (I get that.)

Luke: You also can't rely on your wand as well, since it seems it runs on a limit.

Amity: *squeezes her wand* (I know.)

?: How can you call yourself a blight if you can't master a mear fire spell.

Amity: *yells* I KNOW! I'M TRYING MY BEST OK!

Her yells echoed through the knee as she was panting heavily. She looks down at her wand and frowns.

Amity: I-I'm trying.

Suddenly a loud bang broke Amity out of her thoughts. She looks towards the direction of the noise and sees something flying towards her. She lets out a help and ducks just in time. The thing lands in the snow behind her struggling to get out of it. Amity gets up and turns around and hears a familiar voice.

Y/N: *Mumbles* Not again!

Amity: Y/N!

Y/N: *muffles* Oh hey Amity! *wiggles his legs* Can you lend me a hand!?

Amity: *smiles* Yea don't worry I got you.

Amity walks over and pulls Y/N out of the snow. After Y/N was free he had circles in his eyes.

Y/N: *daze* Duhh. Thanks, Amity. Although my head won't stop spinning.

Amity: *giggles* Well come crashing down here. *realized and becomes concern* By the way, what happened?

Y/N: *shakes his head* Oh that. Well I've been working on one of my new spells.

Amity: Oh I see. Which spell?

Y/N: Lightning.

Amity: *shocked* Lighting? (That type of spell takes months to fully master it.) So how's it going?

Y/N: *sighs* Well I'm able to get the circle down. But everytime I try to discharge it, it ends up blowing up in my face… literally.

Amity: Hmm well I might have a way to help you.

Y/N: Really?

Amity: *nods her head* Yea. First, can you show me how far you've gotten?

Y/N nods his head and backs away from Amity a bit. He then draws the circle again like he did before. Amity watches in amazement. After the circle was complete he does the same finger motions and jams his fingers into the middle. As before the lightning around the circle covers his fingertips with a coat of it, and just like before it explodes in his face causing him to be sent to a nearby tree.

Y/N: *slides down* Ow. *rubs his head* That usually happens.

Amity: *runs over and helps Y/N up* I see now.

Y/N: So any advice?

Amity: Well your technique was perfect, and your movements were on point. I think the main problem is you keep trying to force the lighting to come to you instead of guiding it to hit its target.

Y/N: Really?

Amity: *nods her head* Once the lighting was around your fingers you were trying to command it instead of guiding it. You have to guid the lighting to it's target.

Y/N: *looks at his fingertips* Guid it huh? *looks at Amity and nods* Ok.

Amity walks back to her log and sits down and watches. Y/N takes a deep breath in and out and puts his hands into a prayer, and closes his eyes.

Y/N: Positive and negative energy. Focus on bringing those two together, guide the lighting.

Y/N opens his eyes and does the same motions again. After finishing the circle he then thrust his finger tips in the middle. The light again surrounds his fingertips.

Y/N: (Be the guide)

Now instead of exploding in his face the lighting then flies out of Y/N's fingertips and hits a nearby tree making it explode on impact. Amity had to shield her eyes from the blast and the gust of wind that came with it. Soon everything starts to clear up, letting Amity uncover her face. What made Amity shocked was the giant crater that was left behind from the after effect of Y/N's lighting spell.

Amity: *amazed* Woow.

She then hears something from her left that causes her to turn her head. She saw Y/N on the ground panting heavily.

Amity: Y/N! *runs up to him* Are you ok!?

Y/N: *pants* Hehe. You would think *pants* I would learn *pants* That the bigger the circle *pants* the stronger the spell.

Amity: Hey easy *puts her hand on his back* don't push yourself.

Y/N: Right thanks.

Amity: *puts his arm over her shoulder* I got you.

Y/N: Hehe. You've gotten stronger Amity.

Amity: *blushes* W-Well i-i-its nothing. Just been training.

Amity then sets Y/N on the log she was sitting on as she sat beside him.

Amity: Are you ok?

Y/N: Yea was able to catch my breath. *picks up a handful of snow* Nothing like some snow can fix.

Y/N then starts eating the snow, confusing Amity.

Amity: Uhhh How?

Y/N: *Muffles* Oh ywu see I'w a fwre drwhin and ewtting swwow-

Amity: Uhh can you say that with your mouth not full.

Y/N: *swallows the snow in his mouth* phew. Sorry I was trying to say I'm able to eat the snow and absorb the magic from it into my body amplifying my own.

Amity: *shocked* Incredible.

Y/N: Hehe I know right? Still I don't get that same boast when I eat fire though *puts more snow in his mouth*

Amity: *looks at her wand and then back at Y/N* I can help. The fire I mean.

Y/N: *swallows* Are you sure? I don't want you to use more energy then you have to.

Amity: *shakes her head* No, it's fine. If it will help you recover then I will.

Y/N: *smiles* Thanks, Amity.

Amity: No problem. Anything will beat seeing you eat snow.

Y/N just chuckles and holds out his hand. Amity then draws a small circle in his hand as a small purple flame appears. Y/N then eats it. Even though it was small it was a bigger increase then the fire.

Y/N: Whoa! I feel better already!

Amity: *giggles* Well I'm glad. Seeing you like this makes me happy.

Y/N: *looks at Amity* Hehe yea seeing you happy makes me happy two.

They both realized what they said, looked at each other, and turned around blushing like crazy.

Y/N: *Blushing* S-Sorry if that was weird.

Amity: *blushing* N-No it's fine.

There was an awkward silence until Y/N broke it.

Y/N: S-So. *clears his throat* How come your here by yourself?

Amity: *looks at Y/N for a bit and sighs* I came *looks back in front* to think.

Y/N: About what? If you don't mind me asking?

Amity: I had a harsh training lesson with you black haired friend.

Y/N: Oh you mean Luke?

Amity: Yea him. It's just *sigh*

Y/N: Hey it's ok. Just take your time.

Amity: *looks at Y/N for a bit* [looks ahead] He was telling me that I shouldn't rely on this wand, which I already know that. I'm trying my best but it just feels like *starts to tear up* my best isn't enough.

Amity started to hear voices in her head.

?: A blight should be proper.

?: A blight should be powerful.

?: There is no room for failure.

Tears started to fall from Amity's eyes as she started sobbing lightly. Y/N saw this and started to feel his heart break. It reminded him of the times Luz would cry as well when people bullied her.

Y/N: *puts his hand on her shoulder* Hey. Your best is good enough.

Amity looks at Y/N.

Y/N: You're giving it your all out there, but I get sometimes that giving our all isn't enough. We start to think that maybe we should just quit and give up. *shakes his head* But I don't think we should. Multiple times in my life I thought about giving up, but I always had someone to tell me to keep going and thanks to that I've become the person I am now. *looks at Amity* I know it's hard Amity and I don't know if this will help you like it did for me but I believe you. Cause your Amity Blight, the coolest and strongest witch I know and you'll master that spell in no time.

Amity was taken back from his words and without warning hugged Y/N tightly. At first Y/N was cut off guard but he then heard Amity say something.

Amity: Thank you Y/N.

Y/N: *smiles and hugs her back* No problem Amity.

After a little hug section the two got up.

Y/N: Well I better practice this spell some more. Sorry if I couldn't help you with yours.

Amity: *shakes her head* No, it's fine. You helped me.

Y/N: Heh. Well glad I can help. Well then *runs off* See ya.

Amity looks at Y/N running off and couldn't help but smile and blush a little.

Amity: (Have someone that believes in me. I'm happy that you're that person… Y/N.)

Amity starts to walk back to the camp ground. After the scene was clear a giant creature is seen walking through the forest. It's at the spot that Amity and Y/N departed from. It looks to where the nearby tree Y/N destroyed and walks over there. It smells the ashes from the tree and lets out a low growl.

With Luke

Luke was sitting by the fire with the twins by his side.

Luke: You know I'm fine. I don't need help.

Emira: Well to bad we are helping.

Luke just growls as Emira giggles.

Edric: We made you a promise Luke, that we would help you out.

Luke just looks at Edric as he smiles at him. Luke knows it's pointless to keep arguing and just sighs.

Luke: Fine.

Both the twins smile at him and just watch the fire.

Edric: So your dark magic? Do you think you can explain it to us?

Emira: Really Ed?

Edric: What!? I'm just curious!

Luke: *sigh* It's fine. My dark magic allows me to control and manipulate darkness.

Edric: *amazed* Wow! That's soo cool!

Luke: Uh-huh it is.

Emira: But I'm guessing there is a downside.

Luke: *looks at her and sigh* I have to watch how much I use or

Luke then remembers the time when he would turn into that demon form. Suddenly the images started to play in his head. It stops with the same demon in the black room smiling sinister at him. Luke is brought back to the world as he looks at the fire.

Luke: I lose control.

Both the twins look at each other and then back at Luke and hug him.

Luke: Uhh why?

Edric: Because we think you need it.

Emira: Yea it's ok Luke.

Luke just stared at them for a minute and looked back at the fire. Unknown to them he gives off a small smile. They then hear footsteps making them all look up to see Amity walking up to them.

Luke: You came back.

Amity: Yep. I'm ready to continue.

Luke looks at Amity and notices something different about her. The look in her eyes, it was like a new fire was sparked inside.

Luke: (Seems like you change…. Better than me Blight.) *gets up* Alright let's get started.

Amity nods her head but both Edric and Emira protest.

Edric: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Maybe that's not a good idea! Maybe you should sit this one out Luke!

Emira: Ed's right you should get some rest. Me and Ed while take over.

Amity was confused while Luke sighed in annoyance.

Luke: Look you two I'm fine you don't have to-

Emira: No you listen!

Both Edric and Amity flinched knowing this side of Emira.

Edric: (Oh boy)

Amity: (Here we go.)

Emira: *points to Luke* You are going to rest and sit this one out while me and Edric will handle mittens training! *gets in his face* Do I make myself clear?

Both Edric and Amity knew this side of Emira: Older Sister. It's a side she would show when they get in trouble or misbehave. Luke just glared at the older blight.. Even though sweat ran down the left side of his cheek.

Luke: *groans* Fine. If it will calm you the hell down.

Emira: *smiles* Good. *gets out of Luke's face* Now then ready mittens?

Amity: Uhhh sure?

Both Edric and Amity start walking away.

Amity: What just happened?

Edric: Trying to figure that out myself.

The two start walking out of their few as Luke looks at her.

Luke: *sigh* Really?

Emira: Hey don't give me that! I'm trying to help you!

Luke: I don't need your help, I'm fi-

Emira: *looks at him sincerely* Luke.

Luke: …. *sigh* Alright alright. I'll rest.

Emira: *smiles* Thank you. *kisses his cheek* That's your reward for being a good boy.

Emira: starts to walk off happily, catching up to her siblings, as Luke yells at her.

Luke: I'm not a child! *sits down* Geez that girl. *looks up at the sky* Why do I always get stuck with the people who worry about me?

As Luke continues to look at the sky he then hears the siblings training.

Luke: *sigh and gets up* I can still watch though.

Luke begins to walk over to where they were.

With Luz

Eda is sitting in front of a fire drinking out of a mug and Luz is walking out from the forest.

Luz: Ugh. Okay. I've identified the smells of three different rocks, sorted all the twigs from big to small, and found your glove, and your hand. [lifts glove off of Eda's detached hand]

Eda: Ah, I was wondering where that thing went. [screws her hand back on]

Luz: So what now?

Cut to Amity training with Edric and Emira. Amity sends a jet of fire at Edric with the training wand. He dodges it. Emira summons an arm of snow. Amity blocks and destroys it with a shield. Amity dispels the shield and waves at Luz. Edric uses the distraction to make Amity sink in the snow until only her hand is showing. Luke walks up to them chuckling. Emira notices and starts to skuld Luke as he just pat her head, annoying her. Edric tries to calm them both down while Amity is yelling for help.

Luz: *chuckles* Seems like Luke is having fun.

Eda: Hey. I know my lessons seem weird but this is what wild magic is all about! Making a connection with nature. The earliest witches understood that. Human witches need to understand it too. You wanna learn a second spell?

Luz: WIth all my heart.

Eda: Then you have to learn from the island. [guides Luz to a rock, makes her sit down] Now look.

The rock overlooks the Titan. Its Ribs are nearly the same height as the Knee, and Its Skull is towering even from the opposite end of the Isles. Luz stares at the sight in awe as wind blows past her.

Eda: And think about what the island is trying to tell you. [leaves]

Luz: [takes deep breath] Alright, Luz. Look. Look with everything you've got. Focus. [raises her right hand]

Right Hand: Focus? On what? On you'll be stuck in the baby class?

Luz: No! Don't think like that!

Left Hand: Face it, you'll never get a second spell following Eda's lessons.

Luz: Silence hands!

She then hears a loud sound that makes her look. She sees Y/N with his hands out and an explosion in front of him.

Y/N: hehe. I'm getting better. Know I can use this spell with my right hand. *bends down on one knee out of breath* I-It still *pants* takes a toll *pants* on me though *pants*

Left-hand: If you don't hurry up and find a way soon Luke and Y/N will be in the real classes while you are stuck in the baby classes.

Luz: Dah! *shakes her hand* No!

Another explosion captured Luz's attention. She turns and sees Amity destroying a pillar with Luke beside her.

Luke: Got to say, seems like you're getting better with that thing.

Amity: Don't patronize me Martins. I know you're still being judgmental.

Luke: You got me there, just waiting to see if you're still going to rely on your own strength instead of the wand.

Amity: *looks at it* I'm starting to get the hang of the spell. *looks at Luke* I know I'll be able to do it without the wand.

Luke: *smirks* Well well see. By the way, you came back with a new determination. What changed?

Amity: *blushes* I uhh well-

Luke: *rubs his chin* Did the little mittens have a talk with a certain dragon boy?

Amity: *blushes bright red* How did you- I mean when did-

Luke: *chuckles* I can sense magic blight.

Amity just growls at him.

Emira: Luke stop teasing mittens! Dinners ready!

Luke: *looks at Amity* We'll continue this later. *starts to walk away*

Amity starts to follow him and just mumbles to herself.

Edric: And I found a bat!

Amity: Edric, don't eat that.

Luke: Let him, maybe he might gain wings.

Amity: *puts her wand down* That's not how that works.

Luke: Considering the world we're in I'm surprised it's not.

As both Luke and Amity leave Luz's view Luz just sits there and thinks.

Right hand: See!? If you don't step up your game and soon Amity is going to have Y/N all to herself!

Luz was trying to figure out what to do? How can she build up her magic? She then sees Amity wand and has an idea.

Luz: If I wanna be in the same class as them, I'm gonna need to learn magic like them.

Left-Hand: Great work, Luz! Now Y/N can be all yours!

Luz: *blushes* Shh! I don't need your validation.

Back at the Knee

Edric was holding a bat with Emira and Amity glaring at him and Luke with his hands in his pocket.

Edric: No! If we're not gonna eat it, I wanna keep it as a pet!

Luke: Ed, considering your last pet story, I highly doubt that's an option.

Emira&Amity: Agreed

Edric: I want it! *runs off* Its mine!

Amity: Ed! *runs after him*

Emira: *runs to* Get back here before that thing bites you!

Luke: *shrugs his shoulder* Maybe it might be good for him!

Emira&Amity: Not helping!

Luke just chuckles and runs after them. Unknown to them Luz was hiding behind a nearby stone and saw that the coast was clear. She starts to walk towards the Blight's tent and sees Amity's wand. She takes it and walks back up to the ledge she was on. She kneels down and opens the book and sees one of Amity's drawings.

Luz: Huh. Her cross hatching has improved.

She moves Amity's drawing to show a page titled "Fireball." Under an image of a witch casting the spell is the word "FOCUS" written in runes.

Luz: Oh man, oh man. [stands and draws a circle with the wand; gasps] Yes!

She shoots the fireball off. It explodes like a firework.

Back with Y/N

Around Y/N are many explosion marks and destroyed trees. Y/N was on both knees panting heavily.

Y/N: *pants* 5 small circles. *pants* 2 big circles. *pants* Rest time 30 minutes. *pants* and the lighting *pants* stops at my elbow. *pants*

Zack: Well got to say I'm impressed *frowns* But still though you shouldn't push your body that hard. Even if you eat snow to refuel your magic it dosen;t mean you should burn that fuel out.

Y/N: R-Right. *lays down on the snow* Hehe I also notice that I'm left with a full belly after I eat it and have to wait a little before I can start practicing.

Zack: *sweat drop* Yea I've noticed.

Y/N: *closes his eyes* I could really go for some fire right now.

Just then Y/N hears what sounds like fireworks. He opens his eyes and sees fire falling down from the sky.

Zack: uhhhh..

Y/N: *sits up* I asked and received.

Y/N stands up and starts to breathe in deeply. As he did this all the fire started to enter his mouth. Soon the fire disappears inside his mouth as he lets out a deep breath out and starts to hop up and down.

Y/N: Wohho! That hit the spot!

Zack: Uhh don't you think that was a bit out of the blue.

Y/N: Well this is the Boiling Isles

Zack….. Fair point. But still fire doesn't just show up out of nowhere.

Y/N: Hmm well maybe.

Luz: I did magic!

Y/N&Zack: Oh no.

Y/N looks up and sees Luz with Amity's wand.

Y/N: *puts his hand on the right side of his forehead* Oh Luz.

Zack: That can't be good.

Y/N: *summons his flame wings* I'll go and talk to her.

Y/N then flies off as Zack fades away.

Back with Luz

Luz was so busy celebrating that she did magic that she didn't notice Y/N flying over her.

Luz: This thing is the coolest! With this I am unbeatable!

Y/N: *sigh* Really Luz?

Luz: flinches and turns around to see Y/N with his arms crossed.

Luz: Y-Y/N *sees the wand in her hand and put it behind her back* W-What uhh What are you doing here?

Y/N: Training. I'm learning how to control my second spell.

Luz: O-Oh yea right second spell. T-That's uhh "cool".

Y/N: *unfazed* You can't use a bad pun to get out of this one Luz.

Luz just chuckles nervously as Y/N sighs.

Y/N: Luz what are you doing?

Luz: What does it look like!? *takes the wand and book behind her back* I'm doing magic! Something you and Luke can do also!

Y/N: Luz *points to wand* That's not magic.

Luz: Are you kidding me!? Just look!

Luz then draws a circle and a fire circle appears but before she could activate it Y/N grabs the tip of the wand.

Luz: Hey!

Y/N: I mean that's not proper magic. Luz you have no control of it. You have to learn the right way.

Luz: *pulls the wand away from Y/N* and how!? Learn it from Eda!? She has me just eating snow and licking rocks!

Y/N: ….The snow I get the rocks…. Not so much.

Luz: But with this *holds the wand in the air* I can do real magic!

Y/N: Luz doing magic and actually learning magic are two different things.

Eda: Y/N is right Luz.

Both Luz and Y/N turn to see Eda walking up to them.

Luz: How long were you there!?

Eda: Long enough. Look kid I get my methods are... unique, but so is your magic. Connecting to the island can help you. That wand can't.

Luz looks down. Y/N walks up to her and tries to put his hand on her shoulder only for her to swat his hand away.

Luz: You two don't get it! This wand does help me and I'll show you! Watch!

Y/N: Luz don't!

But it was two late. Luz had already drawn a circle and activated the spell. However instead of the fireball going off instantly it started to lose control due to the wand being low on battery. Luz starts to lose control of it and starts to aim the wand in a random direction. Soon she aims it to the sky and fires it off to the distance of the knee. Everyone watches as it explodes on impact. There was a moment of silence until they heard a loud growl. Both Eda and Y/N knew what that sound was. A figure jumps above the tree landing in front of Eda and roars.

Eda: You've angered the Slitherbeast.

Luz: Will it accept a heartfelt apology?

Y/N: Doubt it.

The Slitherbeast sniffs and sees the still smoldering-tip of Amity's training wand. It lets out a growl and was about to attack until Eda stood with her hands out.

Eda: If you want them you need to get throu-

Before she could finish that sentence the slitherbeast grabs Eda and holds her in the sky.

Eda: Me. Huh. Surprisingly I thought that would play out differently.

Luz: Eda!

The slitherbeast looks at Luz and was about to grab her to. Luz panics and cowers behind the book waiting for the beast to grab her but feels nothing. She looks up from the wand and sees Y/N grabbing the beast's hand with both his hands.

Luz: Y/N!

Y/N: Hehe. Try me on for size big guy!

Y/N then lifts the beast over and throws him to a nearby ruin rock. The slitherbeast crashes on impact.

Y/N: *pulls his fist to his face* Alright *realizes* Oh crap Eda!

Eda: *muffles* I'm ok.

Y/N and Luz look over and sees Eda head first in the snow.

Eda: Just buried in the snow.

Luke: That's hilarious.

Both Y/N and Luz turn their heads and sees Luke and the Blights running up to them.

Y/N: Guys!

Edric: What did we miss?

Amity: And what are you doing with my wand?

Amity takes her wand and her book and holds them protectively

Luke: Be mad at her later.

Emira: Mittens he's right we've got bigger problems.

They all see the Slitherbeast getting up letting out a loud roar at all of them.

Luke: I figured we had to fight this thing sooner or later.

Y/N: *pounds his fist together* Glad it was sooner!

The Slitherbeast walks up to all of them and growls.

Emira: [running in front of everyone] Aw, he's so cute. Can we keep him?

Edric: [runs up with Emira] It's no bat, but we could try.

Luke: I'm surprised y'all want that.

Edric and Emira both cast a lasso at the Slitherbeast's hands. It growls and pulls at the bonds. Edric and Emira struggle to keep hold.

Eda: Nice one! Now finish it off!

Amity: I'm on it! [runs forward and tries to cast with her wand, fails] What?

Amity smacks the wand against her hand, then notices the low battery light. She turns to Luz.

Amity: Did you use it all up!?

Luz: I…. I didn't know!

Emira: Come on Luz!

Edric: Yea! Use those powerful spells you were talking about!

Luz: I uhh

Luke: *face palm* Why Luz?

The Slitherbeast growls and frees its hands with a yell. Emira and Edric are yanked into the snow. The twins look up and sees the beast about to grab them but noticed it stopped. They looked down and saw a black shadow connected to it. They follow it and see Luke.

Luke: Your welcome.

Twins: My hero.

Luke: *rolls his eyes* Yea yea. Our turn. Y/N!

Y/N: On it. *bends down and fire surrounds him* Fire dragon:

Y/N then launches himself at the slitherbeast.

Y/N: Sword Horn!

Y/N then knocks the beast on the other side of the snow as he himself lands on the ground.

Y/N: Heh. How's that?

Luke: *walks up to him* could have been better.

Y/N: Gee. Thanks.

Their conversation was cut off when the beast got back up and growled at them.

Luke: Shockingly he reminds me of back home.

Y/N: *cracks his knuckles* Agreed. Let's show him what we're made of.

Y/N starts running at the creature and was about to punch him but was cut off by the beast shooting a giant purple blob from it mouth. Y/N rolls out if the way before it hits him.

Y/N: The hell was that!?

Eda: Be Careful kid, his spit is a sticky substance.

Y/N: *disgusted* His special skill is saliva!?

The beast shoots more spit from its mouth as Y/N jumped, rolled, and dodged all of it. Y/N continues to run at the beast as he summons fire in both his hands. The beast growls and was about to claw Y/N, but was cut off guard when Luke exited out his shadow and punched the beast in it's back. Y/N jumps up and punches it directly in its face. Seeing his opportunity Luz then swipes the slitherbeast causing him to fall on the ground. Everyone watches with amazement.

Edric: Whoa! They're so strong!

Emira: Yea! *Looks at Luke* I like what I'm seeing.

The slitherbeast gets up and was about to attack but was cut off by an uppercut from both Y/N and Luke sending the beast flying in the air. The beast crashed into the ground as its body was covered in snow.

Amity: Amazing.

Eda: Haha. *Stands proudly* Those are my students.

Even though everyone was celebrating, Luz on the other hand was feeling a little indifferent. Sure she was happy that Luke and Y/N saved them but all it did was remind her of the times they would always protect her from bullies. She felt too weak and useless back then and now she just feels worse since they can do cool magic and all she can do is just a light spell.

Y/N: Phew, that was fun.

Luke: I don't think beating up creatures is considered fun.

Y/N let out a light chuckle.

Edric: That was soo cool!

Both Y/N and Luke walked over and saw everyone, minus Luz, walking up to them.

Edric: You guys were Amazing!

Y/N: hehe thanks Ed.

Luke: *shrugs his shoulder* It wasn't that impressive.

Emira: *giggles* Well *hugs Luke* Thanks for saving me.

Luke: *rolls his eyes* Yea yes.

Emira just continued to giggle as everyone else chuckled.

Amity: *looks at Y/N* You really have gotten stronger.

Y/N: Thanks Am.

Amity: *looks down* I wish I could've done more.

Y/N: *rubs her head* Hey, it's ok. I know you'll be able to do it.

Amity just smiles and blushes a bit. Luz watches this and looks down sadly. Y/N noticed this and was worried about her.

Y/N: Luz-

Before anything could be said everyone heard the slitherbeast get back up panting.

Luke: looks like big guy is up for round 2.

Y/N: *cracks his knuckles* Well I'm ga-

Suddenly the slitherbeast let's out a loud yell that made everyone cover their ears.

Luke: What the hell!?

Y/N: What's it doing!?

Zack&Eda: (Oh no.)

The yelling stopped and for a minute it was a moment of silence.

Eda: We have to go now!

Everyone was confused but then they heard trees being knocked down and loud foot stomps. They looked over and saw it making it out to the clear were they were. What they saw was another slitherbeast, only the difference between this one and the other one was that it was 2x bigger and had a whole bunch of battle scars. The most noticable once we're the X slash on his left check, a giant slash mark down it's back, and his whole left elbow was a burnt off.

Zack: That's the one I fought a lot.

Y/N: Whoa!

Luke: The hell is that!?

Eda: Meet dada.

Zack: Huh, It had kids.

The bigger slitherbeast walked up to it's little span and rubs its head while the other one whimpered. It left it's child and walked up to the group and looked around them.

Zack: Y/N whatever you do don't let him see your-

The slitherbeast set his eyes on Y/N and saw the sword behind his back. He then glared and roared at Y/N.

Zack: Sword.

The slitherbeast charged at Y/N and tried to scratch him but Y/N was able to dodge it in time. The slitherbeast then swung his arm backwards and back handed Y/N. Y/N tried to block it but ended up getting sent flying into a nearby building.

Everyone: Y/N!

Before Y/N crashes into the building it does a flip and lands on the nearby building. Cracks form under his feet as he then kicks off from it and charges at the creature. He summons fire from his right arm and goes for a punch on the slitherbeast's face. The slitherbeast puts his hand up and catches Y/N hand as he slides back a little. Soon it comes to a stop shocking Y/N. The slitherbeast then holds Y/N in the air and throws him hard into the snow. Y/N let's out a grunt.

Amity: He needs help!

Luke then runs up and draws a circle and closes his fist as his arm becomes a devil arm. He then goes for a punch to its face. The slitherbeast noticed Luke running towards him and dodges Luke's attack. Luke then tries to go for another punch but the slitherbeast catches it and throws Luke to the side. Luke slides on the snow and looks up to see the beast gone.

Twins: Luke behind you!

Luke was confused but noticed a shadow behind him. The slitherbeast had both his arm over his hand and brought them down towards Luke. This created a giant explosion as snow went all over the place. Everyone had to cover their eyes from it. Soon the smoke starts to clear up to reveal the slitherbeast in a giant crater. The beast removes his hands from it and notices Luke is gone. The slitherbeast was confused until he saw something exit his shadow as it jumped in the air over its head. It was Luke, both his hands covered in darkness over his head, as he slammed them down on the slitherbeast head.

Luke: That's how you attack!

The slitherbeast was only stun for a moment until it recovers and swats Luke towards Y/N. Y/N catches Luke just in time before he crashes.

Y/N: This thing is stronger than the other one.

Luke: Gee ya think!

Before anything else was said the beast charges at the two and goes for another punch creating another crater. He noticed the two boys were gone and sniffs around for them. Y/N and Luke emerge from its shadow behind them. Y/N summons fire in his right hand and Luke summons darkness in his left as the both go for the attack. The slitherbeast, even with his back turn, notices the two attack him and back kick both of them, sending them sliding in the snow towards the others.

Y/N: *gets up* Man this thing is tough! Also your darkness is scary.

Luke: *slowly gets up* Tell me about it.

The slitherbeast starts to growl as it slowly starts to walk up to everyone.

Amity: We need to think of something!

Eda: *Summons her staff* We just got to slow down his movements!

Everyone nods their heads and advances to the beast. Both Emira and Edric draw a circle and make another whip that wraps around both its arms. Eda then wraps her own whip around the beast body as she also tries to pull it. The beast lets out a roar and tries to pull its arms and body free as the others struggle to keep it in place. Amity runs over and tries to help her sister out.

Emira: Its *struggles* It's too strong!

Edric: Guys!

Both Y/N and Luke run up to attack it. Y/N jumps up in the air and summons fire on his right foot and Luke summons fire on his elbow.

Y/N: Fire dragon

Luke: Shadow style

Y/N drops his foot down on the beast head and Luke elbows the beast in his stomach.

Y/N&Luke: TALON!/Death punisher!

The slitherbeast stumbles back a bit as it was about to fall to the ground.

Luz: Did that-

That was until it uses both his hands and stops itself from falling down. The beast lifted its head and roars pushing everyone back and sending Y/N in the air.

Y/N: *lands on the ground* Dang it!

Everyone falls to the ground except for Luke who was still in front of it and Y/N who was a little far back. Luke was starting to get irritated as his eyes started to become red and his right teeth started to become fangs.

Luke: Your really starting to piss me-

Suddenly Luke's heart started to beat fast making him grip his chest tightly as he fell to his knees.

Luke: (Damn it! Not know!

Little Demon: Seems you're having trouble.

The camera cuts to the black room as the demon is sitting in his chair with a smile on his face.

Little Demon: Let me take over and I'll get rid of this thing pretty quickly.

We return back to a panting Luke as he struggles to get up.

Luke: I *gasp* Don't need *pants* your help!

Everyone: Luke!

The slitherbeast just starts at Luke for a bit until it turns its attention to Y/N. It walks past Luke and walks towards Y/N.

Luke: H-Hey. *turns around* G-Get…. back …. Here.

Y/N: It's ok Luke *gets into a fighting position* I got this.

Amity: Are you insane!?

Eda: *puts her staff up* She's right kid you nee-

Before Eda could finish she was suddenly picked up by the smaller slitherbeast which caused her to drop her staff.

Eda: Are you kidding me!?

Y/N&Luz: Eda!

The twins try to go up and saved her but before they could summon a spell the slitherbeast picked them up two.

Y/N: Guys!

Y/N was going to run and save them but looked to his left and jumps over it just in time.

Y/N: Get out of my way! *summons fire in both his hands* Fire dragon: WING ATT-

Before he could fully use his attack he was cut off by the smaller slitherbeast purple spit sending him flying off the edge of the clift.

Everyone: Y/N!

Y/N: AHHHHH! ….. THIS IS SO GROSS!

Y/N falls off to the bottom of the clift. Luke becomes very pissed and runs at the smaller beast.

Luke: BASTARD!

Luke goes to punch the beast in the face, but the slitherbeast brings the twins, more speciality Emira, to Luke's view. Luke, still having some control, stops his attack close to Emira's face. Luke's eyes start to turn back to normal as he stares at Emira for a moment, but that moment didn't last when the beast pulled Emira away and headbutted Luke causing him to be sent flying to a nearby rock.

Everyone: LUKE!

Emira had tears running down her face as the slitherbeast started to jump away leaving the bigger one, Luz, Amity, and an unconscious Luke behind. The bigger one just looked at the scene and looked at both Luz and Amity. Both girls were scared but Amity still had the determination to fight it. The bigger slitherbeast then looks at the edge of the clift for a moment but then decides to jump and follow his son. They both run over to Luke.

Luz: Luke! Come on please be ok!

Amity: *puts her hand on Luke's head* He's fine. *gets up* Just unconscious.

Luz: *lets out a sigh of relief* W-What do we know?

Amity was silent for a bit but shakes her head.

Amity: I'm going after them.

Amity then starts to walk a little but is stopped by Luz.

Luz: Are you insane!? You saw what it did to everyone! And even worse there's two of them!

Amity: I don't care! I have to go help them!

Luz: But even Y/N and Luke couldn't beat it!

Amity: *turns around angrily* So what!? Those things have my brother and sister! I'm not going to sit here and do nothing for the mistake you caused!

Luz: Me!?

Amity: If you never took my wand in the first place none of this would have happened! My brother and sister wouldn't have been taken! *points to Luke* He wouldn't be hurt! And Y/N…..

There was a moment of silence as Amity put her head down as she tried her best not to cry.

Amity: Would still be here.

Luz felt a pain in her heart. Again she put the love of her life in danger.

Amity: Just stay here and watch him. You'll only get in the way.

Amity starts to draw a circle and around it a cage was made to keep Luz and Luke in. Amity gives both of them one more look as she runs off to fight both beasts.

Luz: Amity wait!

Luz tries to run and stop her but as soon as her hand made contact with the cage a sharp pain hits her hand making her back away in pain.

Luz: *upset* AHHHH! *runs up to a rock and kicks it* STUPID ISLAND!

Regrets entered Luz as she felt new pain on her foot as she held it for a moment; she then recovers and sits on it as she thinks about everything that happened. Coming to the knee, tasting snow, stealing Amity's wand, angering a slitherbeast, but the thing that hit her the most was being completely useless in the fight against both beasts. The whole time all she could do was stand there as everyone was fighting it off. Just like back home when Y/N and Luke would fight she would sit there like a damsel in distress as the others fight her battles. Luz hated this feeling of being useless, being weak. She thought coming here she would find some new strength but instead she just was in the same position as before only this time much worse.

Luz: *looks at the titan skull* Nothing's changed about me. *looks at her hands* I'm still the same pitiful girl that can't do anything on my own *tears start to form* I thought I could finally learn something that could help others. *pulls out her notepad and pen* But instead this is all I can do.

Luz then draws the light glyph on the paper and activates it as it flies in the sky. Luz watches it as her tears start to fall as she sobs.

Luke:...Under…..stand.

Luz: *turns her head* L-Luke.

Luke:...Understand…..Where…..What magic is…. Where… it…comes…..from.

Luz was confused for a second until she looks back up into the sky and noticed something.

Luz: W-Wait is that?

Luz saw a light glyph in the sky.

Luz: A light glyph but what does that mean?

Luke: *smiles* Your….Smart.

Luz was about to ask but noticed a snowflake in her hand but the snowflake wasn't an ordinary snowflake it was a glyph. The glyph then becomes water, shocking Luz.

Luz: Whoa.

She then remembers everything her friends told her.

Y/N: You have to learn the right way. Doing magic and actually learning magic are two different things.

Luke: Understand…..Where…..What magic is…. Where… it…comes…..from.

Eda: Think about what the island is trying to tell you.

Luz: I only used magic, not understanding what it was. I didn't know where it came from. I didn't know what the island was trying to tell me.

Luz then grabs a nearby stick and breaks off what of the branches.

Luz: But I now know all of these things. *Holds up a snowflake glyph* The island has been telling me this whole time. *starts to draw the snow glyph in the snow* Magic is the gift from the island.

After Luz finished making the glyph she taps it and an Ice block appeared.

Luz: *amazed* Magic is everywhere.

Luke couldn't help but smile for his friend. Luz then got the bigger stick and started drawing a bigger ice glyph beneath her feet.

Luz: Magic is everywhere!

Luz jumps off the rock and lands on the glyph. The glyph activates and launches her in the air over the cage. Luz lets out an excited yell but then panics as she lands hard in the snow. She gets out of the snow and celebrates.

Luz: My second spell! Thank you, snow! Thank you, island! Thank you *remembers everything everyone told her* Eda, Luz, and Luke! *realized something* Eda! Wait *looks at Luke* Luke!

Luke: It's fine. Go on without me.

Luz: But-

Luke: *hair covers his eyes* I'm no help….. in this state. It's better if….. I'll stay here….. Amity's magic should keep….. Me safe…. Go help the others

Luz didn't want to leave Luke here but she also didn't want Eda and the others to die.

Luz: I'll come back for you. *runs off* I promise!

Luz begins to run off leaving Luke by himself. Luke looks up in the sky as the wind blows on him revealing one of his eyes completely covered in darkness and red, and the other eye slowly turning as well.

Luke: So *gasp* Cold.

Little Demon: Don't fight it Luke.

The camera cuts to the black room with the demon sitting in the chair and Luke on the other side of him. Darkness starts to fluid the room as Luke watches.

Little Demon: It's time for darkness to fluid your heart and take over.

The darkness starts to run up from Lukes feet up to his leg.

Little Demon: Give in and let it take over.

It slowly makes its way up to his stomach and chest as Luke just continues to watch as he slowly shuts his eyes.

Luke opened his eyes and saw he was in the owl house. He also noticed that he was in Luz's room with him, Luz and Y/N as well. He was confused at first but then he remembered what he told Luz and Y/N about him.

Luz: *shocked* Oh wow.

Y/N: So that's what's been going on with you?

Luke: *nods his head* Yea. It's kinda why I was distant that one time.

Y/N: Well hehe I'm glad you told us.

Luke: Yea.

There was a moment of silence.

Luz: Soo what now?

Luke:...I don't know. I honestly don't know what to do.

Luz: Hey *put her hand on Luke's shoulder* No matter what, we'll figure it out together.

Luke: *looks up* Really?

Y/N: Heck yea Luke. Just because you have some demon in you doesn't mean we are going to leave you.

Luz: We're your friends Luke and we'll help you through this.

Luke couldn't help but smile a bit from what his friends said.

Luke: *scratches his head* Good grief. Why do I always get help from troublemakers?

Both Y/N and Luz made a hurt expression.

Y/N&Luz: Oh come on we were having a moment.

Luke just chuckled.

The memory started to fade away leaving Luke back in the dark void.

Luke: Heh. You two and everyone else really have changed my life for the better.

As Luke stared at the darkness slowly consuming his body, he started to remember all the times he was with them. Everyone made him feel joy in one way or another. In his words they were his light to this dark world. He also remembers all the time he used light glyphs to keep the darkness at bay.

Luke: *closes his eyes* Heh. To think the answer was with me this whole time.

Luke's body slowly started to shimmer with light.

The demon looked at Luke as he frowned.

Luke: As you said, you and I are the same. The power you use, the power I've been using is your dark power. Your darkness. So if your power is darkness that would mean my own power….

The darkness fludes the room plunging it into darkness, but just then a bright light shines and breaks through the darkness.

Luke: Is light.

The voice of Luke echoes all around as the light brightens up the room, forcing the demon to shield his eyes from the light.

Little Demon: Tch. Damn.

The camera cuts back to the real world with Luke standing up as his body is covered in light. Luke walks up to the cage and lifts his arm up as he breaks the cage with a push. The cage Amity created is destroyed and disappears as Luke just stands there for a moment before dropping to one knee and starts to pant heavily.

Luke: *pants pants* Hehe. Just like you Luz *pants* took me a while to see the answer as well.

Luke struggles to get up as he slowly starts to make his way towards his friends to help them.

Little Demon: *sigh* I failed again. So finally figured out your lost power.

Luke: (Yea I did.)

Little Demon: *smiles* Well be that as it may it just means things are going to be more difficult for me. Still though you can't rely on light forever. I'll see ya around.

Luke looks down at his right hand and sees it going back to normal.

Luke:….. Light vs darkness huh? Well, let's see which will win.

Luke just continues to walk to where everyone else is.

Cuts to Y/N

Currently Y/N was still stuck in the slitherbeast saliva. Lucky that saliva was the thing that cushion his fall.

Y/N: *Struggles* This is just beyond disgusting.

Y/N then starts to summon fire around his body and burns off the saliva. He then jumps up in the air and lands on the snow.

Y/N: *Gets up* Ok I need to hurry and get to the others.

Zack: You sure you want to fight him?

Y/N: *nods his head* Of course I do. I'm going to beat that thing.

Zack: Not kill it?

Y/N: What? Why would I do that?

Zack: I mean it did try to kill you right?

Y/N: No it wasn't.

Zack raised an eyebrow.

Y/N: The first one was mad because Luz hit him with a fireball, and the other one…. Came to help his child.

Zack was surprised for a second.

Y/N: I know what it's like when a parent comes to protect it's child when they get hurt from others. It might it been short but *smiles* my mother would do that all the time.

Zack couldn't help but smile.

Y/N: Besides if it wanted me dead it would have done it from the beginning. *claps his hands* OK now I need to hurry. My flame wings won't get me there fast enough, in that case.

Y/N draws a lighting circle around him making Zack worried.

Zack: Wait Y/N that-

Lightning starts to surround Y/N's body.

Zack: Whoa.

Y/N: Like you said, make sure the lightning doesn't hit my heart. I was able to focus all the light around my whole body without it passing by my heart. *stumbles a bit* Gck. Still though I can't maintain this form for long. I have to go now.

Y/N then runs off to where the others are as Zack watches a bit.

Zack: Hehe Smart in combat and reckless with his magic. *fades away* He's a combination of both of us Ig.

Back to the Owl House

King: [from inside] Hey! How dare you mutiny! Unhand your commander right now! Ah! [is thrown through a window with Francois] I gave you life, I can take it away!

[Arrows and knives land around King.]

King: AH!

Hooty: [knocks headphones off]

King: [rolls over, stands] Hooty, Hooty! Great news, buddy, you can be in the boot camp! First task: destroy the boot camp.

Hooty: Hmmmm, no thanks!

King: What? But you begged to join!

Hooty: Sorry. You said I was desperate, so now I'm playing hard to get.

King gets frustrated but then noticed baby dragon walking up to him.

King: Second in command there you all listen I need your help!

Baby dragon raises an eyebrow.

King: You see some evil puppets have come to life, no idea how they did, and they have taken over the house. I need your help to destroy them.

Baby dragon just narrows his eyes at King.

King: What!? I don't know how they came to life!

Baby dragon: *stare*

King: *chuckles nervously* hehe. I mean I might know.

Baby dragon: *stare*

King: UGH! OK OK! The potion was knocked down and spilled on the animals and I tried to use them to run a boot camp! Happy now!

Baby dragon wasn't entirely convinced but was able to put two and two together of how it really happened. With a sigh and a nod he decided to help King.

King: Yes now all we need is [looks at Hooty] *sighs* What will it take for you to help us hooty?

Hooty: I don't know. What are you offering?

King: Hmm... [holds up piece of chalk]

Cut to a body now being drawn around Hooty, so that he's the face.]

Hooty: Wow, this is incredible! It's so real! You got yourself a deal! [opens door] Hooooot!

Baby dragon growls and starts running inside with Hooty. Together they start ripping apart King's toys. Baby dragon would slash their eyes out, Hooty would pierce right through them, and baby dragon would bite down hard on their neck and rip out their stuff jugular.

King: *watches from the doorframe* This day shall live in infamy.

New Guy's head is thrown against the door frame.

Slitherbeast cave

The small slitherbeast, still holding Eda and the twins, shoots out it's saliva onto the wall. He then puts the twins and Eda on it, making them all grunt. Soon the bigger slitherbeast shows up walking up to them.

Eda: Oh boy.

The little slitherbeast walks up to his dad as he gestured the others to him.

Edric: *gulps* Don't tell me! Were food for him.

Eda: Eh. We won't be much food for him.

Emira: Not helping!

Eda: Never said I was.

The father looks at them then back at his son as he shakes his head and starts heading deeper into the cave. The son was confused but decides to shrug it off and leaves.

Edric: Uhhh what just happened?

Eda: Seems dad was disappointed.

Emira: Well now that he's gone *looks at Edric* We should be fine.

Just then a skeleton drops with purple goop drops down.

Edric: Nope! We're going to die!

?: That's right.

Everyone looked to their left and saw a skeleton head.

?: Death is here.

Everyone was about to scream until the skeleton lifted up its head to reveal Luz.

Luz: Just kidding. Luz is here!

Twins: *angry* Luz!

Luz just giggles.

Eda: Kid, get outta here! I'm just gonna sneak away when the thing starts eating the twins.

Twins: Wait what!?

Luz: Don't worry, Eda, I get it now. I was so obsessed with learning my second spell, I didn't listen to you. But now I'm gonna save you!

Luz was about to walk away but was stopped by Emira.

Emira: Luz wait. Is Luke ok?

Luz: *turns around* Don't worry Luke is ok.

Emira sighs in relief, same with Edric knowing their friend/crush was ok.

Luz: After I save all of you I'll save Luke as well! [jumps away] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Eda: Well, at least I got to see her misplaced confidence one last time.

The camera cuts to Amity hiding behind the boulder. She may have a serious expression but inside her heart she was scared. Both Y/N and Luke couldn't beat them so what could she do. Doubt was entering her mind as she felt herself shaking. But what broke her out of her thoughts was a certain human girl.

Luz: [grinning] Hey there Amity!

Amity: What the!? Luz!?

They both duck behind the boulder.

Amity: H-how did you get past the barrier?

Luz: Magic! Literally! Now, forget that, because you and I are gonna have to work together if we want to save everyone.

Amity: B-But how *looks down* Y/N and Martins couldn't beat them. What can we do?

Luz noticed Amity's fear and put her head on her shoulder.

Luz: Hey, we can do this. Because the two of us are strong witches… Well actual witch and witch in training. We got this.

Amity couldn't help but smile and nod her head to Luz's confidence

Luz: Okay, here's what we're gonna do. [whispers to Amity]

The Slitherbeast returns. It sprinkles assorted seasonings on Edric, Emira, and Eda's heads.

Eda: [sneezes] Ugh, I hate garlic.

Luz: Hey! You big idiot! [waves her arms] Over here!

The Slitherbeast turns and growls. It jumps at Luz, who runs. Amity climbs up to her siblings and Eda.

Edric: Amity!

Emira: Use that fire spell we taught you!

Amity: But I can't do it without the wand!

Emira: Yes, you can. Just focus.

Amity was hesitant for a second. She didn't know if she could really do it until she remembered something.

Y/N: I know it's hard Amity and I don't know if this will help you like it did for me but I believe you. Your Amity Blight, the coolest and strongest witch I know.

Amity: *nods her head* Ok.

She slowly traces a spell circle in front of her. It wavers when she concentrates, but a ball of pink fire appears after a moment.

Emira: Cool. I didn't think you could actually do it.

Amity rolls her eyes and melts the three of them free. After everyone was free they then heard Luz screaming.

Amity: Luz!

Cut to Luz dodging the Slitherbeast and running out of the cave. The Slitherbeast follows her until she gets to a tree and stops. Slitherbeast jumps up and was about to bite Luz but was suddenly kicked in the head by Y/N, who had blue lighting surrounding his body.

Luz: *Happy* Y/N!

Y/N: How did you like that!?

Y/N jumped off the slitherbeast, it was stunned from the lighting.

Luz: *sees her chance* Gotcha!

Luz steps on a huge ice glyph drawn into the snow. She ducks away from the rising pillar of ice. The ice launches the Slitherbeast into the air.

Y/N: *amazed* Wow.

The slitherbeast lands hard on its back. Everyone else runs out of the cave. The Slitherbeast rights itself, screeches at the witches, and runs at them. Eda was about to do something but noticed the beast stopped moving. Everyone was confused at first but noticed a giant shadow connected to it.

Eda: Wait is that-

Luke: Seems like I was late for the party.

Everyone follows the shadow to show Luke holding his left arm.

Everyone: Luke!

The slitherbeast tries to struggle out of Luke's shadow possession.

Luke: Looks like you guys learned your second spell *holds out his left hand* Let me show you what spell I learn.

A light circle appeared around Luke's hand shocking everyone. Just then a beam of light hits the slitherbeast making it crash into the cave. After that was done Luke fell on one knee as everyone else ran up to him.

Luke: Never doing that again.

Emira: Luke!

Both Emira and Edric hugged Luke.

Emira: *tears falling from her eyes* I thought we lost you!

Edric: *crying* Don't scare us like that again!

Luke: Gees I'll try not to.

Everyone watched them and couldn't help but smile for them.

Y/N: I love happy endings.

Y/N then felt two dark presents behind him. He turns around to see an angry Luz and Amity making him panic.

Zack: Happy for Luke, but not for you.

Y/N: Uhh hehe *nervous* H-Hey girls.

Luz: Do you know how worried we were!?

Amity: We thought you were killed!

Y/N just flinches and looks down at the ground but soon he is hugged by them, shocking him.

Amity&Luz: Don't scare me like that.

Y/N hugged them both back and smiled. Eda looks and smiles for her students. Seeing them have people/lovers that really care about them made her remember the old days. The moment was soon interrupted by hearing the smaller slitherbeast getting up from Luke's blast.

Luke: You have got to be kidding me.

The slitherbeast looks at the group as they all separated and got into a fighting position. The slitherbeast let out a loud roar and everyone already knew what was about to happen. They then hear loud stomps to reveal the father again looking down at everyone. The smaller one ran up to his dad and stood in front him smiling at them. The dad lifted his hand as everyone was getting ready but instead of hitting them he hit his son confusing everyone.

Luz: Uhh what just?

The small slitherbeast let out a little yelp as he started barking at his dad as the dad barked back.

Luke: What is uhh happening?

Eda: Seems like a father and son talk.

As everyone was wondering what was going on Y/N started walking up to the two.

Amity: Y/N what are you-

Y/N: Hey!

Both slitherbeast turn and sees Y/N removing his sword from his back and stabbing it to the ground. He points to the smaller slitherbeast.

Y/N: You! *points to himself* and me 1 on 1!

Everyone, but Luke, looks at Y/N as if he was insane.

Luz: Y/N what are you doing!?

Amity: Have you lost your mine!?

Y/N continues to glare at the small slitherbeast as it lets out a light growl. The blogger one looks at Y/N for a bit. He drops down and uses his arms as a head rest as he signals his son to go to Y/N. The smaller one looks at his father for a bit but decides to walk over to where Y/N is. Y/N smiles and leaves his sword and starts to walk towards it.

Luz: Wait Y/N!

Eda: *puts her hand out* Let him go kid!

Luz: But Eda-

Luke: He knows what he's doing.

Amity: What, getting himself killed!?

Luke: That. and something else.

Everyone, but Eda was confused, as they watched. Both Y/N and the slitherbeast was a little far away from each other as they stared each other down. Y/N got into a fighting position but his body started to twitch a bit catching everyone's attention.

Edric: Wait, is he-

Luke: Seems that lighting spell took a toll on him.

The slitherbeast smiled a bit as it slammed his arms into the snow and roared, but as soon as it did that its own body started to twitch as well.

Eda: They're both hurt.

The wind starts to blow, making Y/N hair move the same with the beast. After another moment past both Y/N and the slitherbeast charged at each other. The slitherbeast goes for a claw swipe to Y/N face but he ducks just in time. Y/N goes for an uppercut but the slitherbeast does a backflip. It lands on all four and runs at Y/N tackling him down on the ground. The beast, sitting on top of Y/N, raises his claw in the air and brings it down towards Y/N's face. This creates a snow smoke cloud as everyone watches.

Luz&Amity: Y/N!

As the smoke cleared it shows Y/N dodge the attack by moving his head and grabbing the beast arm with his left hand. The slitherbeast growls and snarls as it tries to pull his hand off. After many failed attempts the beast gets annoyed and is about to bite Y/N hands off. Y/N seeing his chance headbuts the beast in its head and punches him off Y/N. The beast falls down in the snow as Y/N jumps back. The beast sits up and growls as it draws purple blood from its mouth. Y/N pants for a bit and smiles. The bigger beast watches this and couldn't help but get a sense of deja vu from this fight.

Y/N: That's the best you got?

The slitherbeast enrage runs up to Y/N. Y/N gets into a fight stance but then gets cut off guard when the slitherbeast starts running right and left. Y/N was starting to get the pattern but soon the beast left his sight of vision.

Y/N: Where did he-

Before he could finish Y/N was soon punched dead in the face making him spit up blood. The beast goes for another punch but Y/N recovers and punches the beast back. The beast stumbled back but grabbed Y/N's arm. It swings him around and throws him to a nearby tree. Y/N crashes into the tree and slides down.

Luz: I don't get it why isn't Y/N using his magic!

Luke: Either he's exhausted the last bit of his magic. Or

Edric: Or?

Y/N then gets up and wipes the blood off his mouth. The two advance towards each other and start to exchange blows.

Soon the Slitherbeast punches Y/N dead in the gut making Y/N spit up tons of blood. Everyone watches in horror as they think this is the end. The beast goes down and tries to bite Y/N, but Y/N knees the beast gut making its fangs stop clothes to Y/N's neck the beast and Y/N back up a bit and recovers from their attack. They look at each other and advance towards each other letting out a bad cry. They both headbutt each other with full force. It was so intense that smoke appeared forcing everyone, even the bigger beast to shield themself from it. Soon the smoke died down and both Y/N and the slitherbeast both fell to their knees panting heavily. They continue to look at each other tiredly waiting for one of them to make a move. The slitherbeast slowly starts to fall back and passes out from exhaustion.

Y/N: *smiles weakly* I *pants* Win.

Luz&Amity: Y/N!

Both girls ran up and hugged him.

Amity: You idiot didn't we tell you not to do anything reckless!

Y/N: Hehe Sorry.

Luz: Dummy!

Everyone walks up to Y/N with the twins helping Luke out.

Eda: Got to say kid pretty impressive.

Luke: More like insane.

Emira: I'll say.

Edric: That was soo cool! We got to see the son of Igneel battle in action!

Both Luz and Amity glared at Edric making him cower and shiver behind Luke. Just then they heard the sound of the bigger slitherbeast walking up to them. Everyone was about to get ready to fight until it walk past shocking them. The bigger slitherbeast picks up his son and puts him on his back and starts to walk back in the cave.

Y/N: Hey!

The bigger one stops walking and turns around to face Y/N.

Y/N: *smiles* Hopefully I can fight him again sometime, and maybe you as well.

The bigger slitherbeast starts at Y/N and just then a teen Zack takes his place shocking it.

Teen Zack: Same place, same time. I'll win for sure.

The bigger slitherbeast then hears his son recovering as it holds up a fist growling lightly. Y/N smiles and holds up his fist as well. The father just nods his head and heads back inside the cave. Y/N lets out a chuckle until he was hit in the head by both Amity and Luz.

Y/N: Owww. What was that for?

Luz: You barely made it out a live fighting that thing!

Amity: And now you want to fight him again!

Y/N: *puts his hands up as a defense* I-I just wanted to become stronger.

Luz&Amity: Do it without getting yourself killed!

As the two skuld Y/N everyone else coudn't help but laugh.

Luke: *smiles* Geez his in deep trouble.

Emira: Same to you mister.

Luke: Huh?

Emira: I thought I told you to take it easy!

Luke: Give me a break, women! I just saved your lives!

Emira: And got yourself killed in the process!

Edric: C-Come on guys. Let's all get along.

Luke&Emira: Stay out of this Edric!

Edric just flinched as the two continued to bicker. Eda couldn't help but smile for her students.

Eda: Alright alright. You all can yell at each other later.

They all stop bickering and Luz walks up to Eda.

Luz: Oh right Eda did you see we all did our first spell!

Eda: Yea I saw *rubs her head* I'm proud of you kid *looks at Y/N and Luke* Both of you two.

The twins walked Luke to Eda and sat him down gently as Y/N walked up to them as well.

Y/N: Thanks Eda.

Luke: Heh. Guess you won't have to worry about your clientele.

Eda: *rolls her eyes* Yea yea.

Amity gets up as her siblings walked up to her

Emira: You showed some real bravery in there, sis.

Edric: Yeah, nice work kiddo. [ruffles Amity's hair]

Amity: Stop! [fixes her hair and approaches the group] So it looks like we'll be in the same class.

Y/N: Hehe. Seems like it.

Luke: Don't be too mad if one of us takes star pupil mittens.

Amity: *rolls her eyes* In your dreams.

Luz: Azura Book Club? Azura Book Club!

Y/N: *raises his hand* Oh oh oh! I call being Inferno!

Amity: [giggles & blushing] Ok ok. As long as it's a secret club, okay?

Edric: It's not a secret!

Emira: We're gonna tell everyone!

Amity just sighs as the others just laugh.

Eda: *sneezes* Alright, your adorable banter is literally making me sick. Let's go home already.

Luke: Second on that one.

Y/N: *lifts Luke's arm over his shoulder* Yea let's head home.

Luke: You know I can do it on my own.

Luz: *lifts Luke's other arm* Nope we told you we would help remember?

Luke just sighs and smiles.

Edric: Make sure you take care of him.

Emira: Yea wouldn't want Mr. Grouchy to get hurt.

Luke: *sighs* Gee thanks princess and prince charming.

Both twins stopped giggling and looked at Luke.

Luke: Not good with nicknames if you don't like them let me know.

Both the twins didn't say anything as they just slightly blushed.

Luke: Alright let's head out.

Y/N was about to summon his flame wings but was cut off by Luz.

Luz: Wait! I got an idea.

Luz let's go Luke and started drawing in the snow. Y/N and Luke were confused for a second, it wasn't until she finished they realized what she was doing.

Luz: *ice glyph* Tadah! Who's ready to go home!?

Y/N: *smiles* I am.

Luke: *Makes a pale face and tries to get off Y/N* Oh hell no! I ain't getting on that!

Owl House crew: Too late!

Everyone was on the glyph as Luke was still trying to get off it but it was too late once Luz activated it. A giant ice piller launches the owl house crew into the sky both Y/N and Luz let out a loud wee.

Eda: *laughs* I have some crazy students!

Luke: I hate you all!

The Blight siblings watched as the owl house crew was out of view.

Amity: I think we can take the normal way.

As Amity starts walking off both Emira and Edric continue to look at the sky. Their hearts wouldn't stop beating from the nickname Luke gave them.

Twins: *sighs lovingly* (What a guy)

Amity: You two coming!

Edric: *breaks out of his thoughts* Y-Yea coming.

Emira: Yea.

Both Edric and Emira go and catch up to their little sister.

Back at the owl house

Hooty and baby dragon had just finished destroying all of the stuffed animals. Hooty was breathing heavily as baby dragon let out a strong exhale.

King: Private Hooty, Second in command, today when the felt flew you showed grit and determination that were instrumental in securing our victory. May I just say, it has been an honor to be your commander.

Hooty: Sir, the honor is all mine.

Baby dragon: *barks barks* I fought beside my teammate.

King: Private, [hugs Hooty and baby dragon] our hearts have been touched by fire, and-

Eda: Ahem.

The three turned their heads to see Eda and the others in the doorway. They looked around at the mess.

Eda: What the heck did you three get into?

Luke: Gees guys what the hell?

King: Um, excuse me? We're having a moment here!

Hooty: You'll never understand what we've been through together! Never! Never!

King: [walks away] Ugh, moment ruined.

Baby dragon runs up and hugs Y/N.

Y/N: Seems you had fun boy.

Baby dragon: *bark bark* I bathed in my enemies blood.

Hooty: I will be haunted by my actions forever. Hoot hoot!

Y/N: *chuckles nervously* I don't even want to know.

Luke: Agreed.

After a quick clean up Luz, Luke and Y/N were in Y/N and Luke's room. Luke and Y/N were both on their mats with bandages around their heads. Luz was wrapping a bandage around Y/N's arm.

Y/N: about an adventure.

Luke: Yea. *looks at Y/N* still can't believe you fought that thing.

Y/N: Hehe me neither.

Luz: *pulls the bandage harder* Don't think I forgave you yet.

Y/N: Ow! Ow! Ow! Too hard!

Luz: *sighs* Why didn't you use magic on it?

Y/N: Well I wanted to also build up my physical strength as well. I can't always realy on magic to help me so I decide *lifts his right arm* my normal strength need some work.

Y/N flexed a little to show off his muscle. Luke just rolled his eyes while Luz was in a deep blush.

Luz: I-I see.

Y/N: Besides I now have a new training partner.

Luz: *sigh* Really?

Y/N: *sweet drops* I'll be careful I promise.

Luke: Hehe good for you.

As Luke looked at the two he started to think about Y/N's words.

Luke: (training partner huh?)

He then remembers what that demon slayer say to him.

Demon Slayer: If you wish for help to control that power inside of you come back and challenge me again someday.

Luke was quiet for a second but decided to get up and head out.

Luz: Luke?

Luke: I'll be back *looks back at them* I promise.

Luz: *smiles* Ok.

Luke walks out the room and closes the door.

Y/N: Oh come on! He gets to leave and I get a stern talking how is-

Y/N stopped talking when Luz was giving him a death glare.

Luz: Deja de hablar o de lo contrario

Y/N: *breaks into a sweat* S-Sí, señora.

Luke starts to walk out of the house but notices Eda with her arms crossed as he walks out.

Eda: Come back safe kid.

Luke: *keeps walking* I'll try.

Eda just smiles and walks back inside. Luke makes it to the bat queens cave. As he keeps walking in it he hears the bat queen fly down to him making him stop walking.

Bat Queen: Small demon. What is it that you want?

Luke: Knowing you, you already know.

Bat queen stares at Luke for a bit but nods her head and uses her magic to open up the hidden cave.

Bat queen: Try not to make too much noise. Babies are sleep and is hard to put them back when they wake.

Luke: *walks inside* No promises.

Bat queen looks at Luke for a moment and walks away. Luke continues to walk further into the cave. As he makes it to the end it was just the same as he came in that one time when Owlbert was loose.

Luke: Huh? Guess she cleaned up in here.

Luke looks dead ahead and sees the demon slayer as a statue surrounded by the black blood as before. He walks up to it and puts his hand out.

Luke: Alright *touches the statue* Let's get started.

The trio learned all their new spells, now they can get into Hexside! What wonderful adventures await for them!

Luke also wanted to become stronger, so he went back to the bat Queens cave in order to get stronger. Meanwhile, Y/N is getting a scolding from Luz.
