Y/N: Oh man I'm so excited.
Luz: I'm so nervous.
Luke: I want to get this over with.
Right now the owl house crew was behind a stage at hexside academy. The three friends were getting ready for there placement exam to enter hexside.
Eda: Now remember kids you got this.
Y/N nods his head while Luke just shrugs. Luz on the other hand.
Luz: I don't know Eda. What if we mess this up? What if we fail? What if-
Y/N: *holds her shoulders* Hey don't worry we work this hard to get where we are now. We can do this.
Luz couldn't help but smile from Y/N's words.
Eda: Y/N is right kid. I had to do the same thing when I was a witchling. It's like a writing passage. Granted I was a little more skilled.
Luz&Y/N: Eda!
Luke: Not helping.
Eda: Right right sorry sorry.
Luz: *looks at Y/N and Luke* Can one of you go first?
Luke: *sighs* Fine, I'll go.
Luke starts to walk over to the center of the stage as the curtains open revealing principle bump sitting down with a notepad and a pen.
Bump: Aha. Mr Martin's your first.
Luke: Unfortunately sir. *Clears his throat* As the old saying goes.
Luke draws a dark circle as the word darkness is spelled in the air.
Luke: In the deepest darkness.
Luke draws a white circle. He snaps his fingers and the words darkness explodes and is replaced with the word Light.
Luke: There is a shining light.
Bump: *amazed* Remarkable.
Everyone else clapped for Luke.
Bump: You're in.
Luke: *bows down* Thank you sir.
Luke walked off to the side towards his friends.
Eda: *pats his shoulder* Nice one kid.
Luz: That was soo cool!
Y/N: That was great!
Luke: *shrugs his shoulder* Eh. It was nothing.
Bump: Alright next.
Y/N: I'll go.
Y/N starts to run as he slides to the middle of the stage.
Y/N: Hello principle Bump.
Bump: Aha. The son of Igneel Dragneel. I'm curious to see how well you are with your magic.
Y/N: Hehe get ready *eyes glow red* to be impressed sir.
Y/N summoned fire in both his right hands. He did a spin and then stomped his foot down as he threw the fire in the air. The fire explodes in the sky making everyone cover their eyes. Soon the fire dies down and everyone uncovers their eyes to see the words "Y/N Dragneel" written in fire.
Everyone: Whoa.
Y/N: *smirks* Not done yet.
Y/N then draws a blue circle around both his arms as lighting starts to surround his arms. He then claps them together to make a loud boom sound and then opens his hands as lighting is surging. He throws the lighting under the fire letters. The lighting started zooming around spelling something out. It quickly goes back to Y/N's hand as it finishes spelling "The dragon slayer" together with the fire and lightning created: "Y/N Dragneel The dragon slayer". It was dead silent until both Eda and Luz started cheering.
Eda: Oh yeah! Good job kid!
Luz: Y/N that was awesome!
Bump: I am impressed. You're in as well.
Y/N: *bump his fist* Yesss!
Y/N walks back behind the curtains to his friends.
Y/N: Alright me and Luke are in. Now it's your turn Luz.
Luz: *gulps* I don't know what if I'm not good enough?
Y/N: *walks up to Luz* Hey, repeat after me. "You are Luz Noceda"
Luz: I am Luz Noceda.
Y/N: I'm going to give it my all.
Luz: I'm going to give it my all.
Y/N: Now repeated.
Luz: *takes a deep breath in and out* I am Luz Noceda and I'm going to give it my all.
Y/N: There you go. Now get out there.
Luz nods her head and hugs Y/N and runs off to perform. Y/N smiled for her but then turned around and saw Eda smiling at him and Luke smirking.
Y/N: What?
Luke: Look at you encouraging her.
Eda: Helping out your girlfriend huh?
Y/N: *blushes* I-I-I just wanted to boost her confidence!
Eda&Luke: Uh-huh.
Y/N just blushed bright red and looked back over to Luz to see her perform, but he noticed that she had a coat around her.
Luke: uhh where did she get that?
Luz: From the humblest of beginnings, a hero will rise.
Luke: What the-
Luz: I have traveled from another realm with my friends, and together we train with a powerful witch to learn dark forbidden magic.
Luke: I what I-
Luz: I am *removes her cowl* Luz Noceda.
Luke: D-Did she just come up with that?
Y/N: *snaps his fingers* man I wish I thought of that.
There was a moment of silence and Luz started to get nervous.
Luz: *chuckles nervously and throw confetti* Confetti.
Luke: Sometimes I really wonder where she keeps that.
Y/N: Me too.
Bump: Riiiight finally the human that wants to be a witch. Now then can you also do magic?
Luz: I sure can. *Opens up and reaches in her pouch* It is said humans can't do magic. *Pulls out a pieces of paper* But I discovered a lost technique that changes everything.
This made Bump curious as everyone else watched with excitement. Luz sits down on the floor and taps the light glyph activating it as a small light appears. She then moves the ice glyph under the light and taps it making the light hover over the ice block.
Luz: Ta-dah!
Y/N: Whoo-hoo!
Eda: *thumbs up* Good job kid!
Luke nods his head for Luz.
Bump: Spells made by paper I have never heard of such a thing before. *Puts his hand on his chin* But is it enough to pass the exam?
Luke: Oh boy
Y/N: Uhh *whisper* Luz quick! Think of something.
Luz: I uhh well uhh.
Eda: Improvise.
Luz: Well I can do other things. What about *turns around*
Luke: *goes pale* oh no she isn't thinking of-
Luz: *turns around with her eyelids* This.
Luke: *facepalms* Damn it Luz.
Y/N: Maybe this will work out.
Luz: Ow Ow Ow! Eyelashes in my eye! Eyelashes in my eye!
Y/N: *sweat drop* or maybe not.
Luz then starts walking around as she was trying to get the eyelash out of her eye but ended up slipping on the ice that melted into water. Once she felt the cowl that was on the floor surrounded her head and body making her walk around with it on her. She tried to get it off only to fall off the stage and land on Bump's lap. She rolled off his lap and landed on the floor with Bump looking down at her with an angry expression.
Luz: *backs away* Sorry Sorry Sorry!
As she was backing up she ended up activating one of the ice glyphs.
Everyone: Oh no.
The ice glyph activates making a giant ice piller. It catches Luz's foot making her raise up and facing a very angry Bump.
Luz: I failed didn't I?
Bump:... Believe or not I've seen worse.
Zack: *hurt* I take that to heart.
Luz fell off the ice pillar as both Y/N and Luke went to help her up by lifting her up from both sides.
Bump: But in any case *gets up and clears his throat* Y/N Dragneel, Luke Martins and Luz Noceda, Welcome to Hexside school of magic and demoniacs.
Y/N: Alright!
Luke: Nice.
Bump drops the pamphlet on Luz's head.
Luz: *in a daze* Yeeaa.
Y/N: *chuckles* Alright let's go get you some rest Luz.
Both Y/N and Luke started to carry Luz out of the auditorium leaving Eda and Bump alone.
Eda: *jumps down the stage* Welp those knuckleheads are going to love it her.
Bump: Yes for your sake they better not cause any trouble.
Eda: Ha. Bumps, these are my students you are talking about.
Bump: Exactly.
Eda just laughs and starts to walk out.
Eda: What do you think of him?
Bump: Are you talking about the young dragon slayer?
Eda nodded her head.
Bump: I can see a lot of potential in the young one. He does have the ability to be the next dragon king.
Eda: Not that. *Turns her head to him* Who does he remind you of?
Bump was quiet for a second.
Bump: That is hard to say.
Eda: Glad I'm not the only one.
Eda then starts to walk out leaving Bump in the auditorium by himself. He looks at the stage thinking about Y/N's performance.
Bump: (Who do you remind me of?)
Theme
The portal gate opens, as the camera zooms in on it, Y/N, Luz, and Luke are seen in the sky. They slowly start to open their eyes as they realize they are falling. Both Y/N and Luz panic as Luke just looks down with a bored expression. Suddenly something zoomed past and caught the three friends. Both Y/N and Luz open their eyes, Luz behind Y/N holding on to him tight, while Y/N was holding on to the staff, as they were caught by Eda. Luke was at the bottom of the staff hanging on with just one hand. Eda smirked at the friends and flew to her house with her palisman staff.
The door with Hooty opens to reveal the three friends. Luz had Eda staff as she twirled it around and posed, Y/N, that had Zack's sword on his back, held up a fire fist and smirked while doing a pose, and Luke had his arms crossed as he did a little smirk, as he leaned on the door way. Eda then appeared, taking her staff back, with an amusing grin. Luz then gave a sheepish smile as Y/N put his fire fist away and scratched the back of his head letting out a nervous chuckle. Luke just playfully rolled his eyes as he continued to smirk at his friends' antics. King then gets in front of the camera with a pose.
The scene changes to a three frame slot showing Willow, Gus, and Amity. Willow makes a heart with her hands, Gus holds out his arms in celebration, and Amity just ignores, and turns her back, crossing her arms. It then burns away to reveal King, holding a stuffed rabbit, commanding his army of stuffed animals. Suddenly the stuffed animals started to fall on him as some of them fell onto the camera.
The scene changes again to reveal Luke in a dark void. He then holds the necklace around his neck in his hand as he stares at the picture of him and Sally with a sad expression. Behind him was the Little Demon as he stared at him from the black room with a smile on his face to reveal his sharp teeth. Darkness engulfs the camera as we are shown Y/N surrounded by fire with a sad expression. He was holding a fire fist in his left hand and Zack's sword in his right hand. As Y/N looks at them, the fire takes the form of his father and he sees Zack in the reflection of the sword. The fire around him starts to engulf the camera.
The scene then changes with Luz riding on Eda staff, Y/N with fire wings, and Luke with dark wings. They fly around Bonesborough passing by friends and foes. Luz then picks up Eda and King as Y/N and Luke are flying beside them. Suddenly the ground below them starts to rumble and reveals a giant worm creature that lunges right at them. Everyone, minus Y/N and Luke, screams for dear life as they try to hang on to the staff. Y/N and Luke, nod their heads at each other, as they summon darkness and fire in their hands to attack the creature with a battle cry.
The scene changes to the night sky as it slowly comes down to the owl house. The five friends are standing on top of the house. Luz takes out a little ball of light, Y/N summons a small fireball, and Luke holds up a little shadow ball. The three friends share a smile as they send their balls up into the air. The three balls exploded to reveal the title screen.
The Dragon Slayer of the Boiling Isles
The camera cuts to the owl house crew flying in the sky. Luz was flying on Eda staff with Eda flying forward and her bag behind her. Y/N was flying with his fire wings and had his bag on his back with baby dragon on his head. Luke was using his shadow wings with his bag in his bag. The three friends were wearing a hexside uniform only it was gray. Y/N was excited to start his first day in hexside, Luke was just wondering how it would go and Luz..
Luz: We got to go back. This was a mistake.
Was panicking.
Luz: I'm going to mess things up again and everyone will see. And..
Eda: Kid, you need to calm down.
Y/N: Luz don't worry we can get through this.
Eda: Besides you all went to human school before.
Luke: That's why she's nervous.
Eda was confused.
Luz: Back at school I never really made a good impression.
Flashback
We cut to the classroom of the human world. Y/N was sitting in the front with Luke right beside him. Everyone was talking with each other about the new student they were about to have.
Young Y/N: What do you think this new student will be like?
Young Luke: Hopefully someone sane. I've already lost my mind being with you.
Young Y/N: *pouts* Now you're just being cruel.
The teacher walks in front of the class.
Teacher: Quiet down class.
The classroom becomes quiet as they fast forward.
Teacher: Now then, Time to introduce you to our new stude-
Before the teacher could continue the lights in the classroom goes on and off confusing a lot of people.
?: In a world where nobody understands her. A world where she wants to show others her abilities.
All the students and the teacher looked around trying to find who was doing this. Just then out of nowhere smoke appeared causing everyone to cough and close their eyes. Luke and Y/N were the first to recover and there they saw a girl in an Azura outfit holding up a staff.
Young Luz: I am Luz Noceda!
Everyone was too busy coughing up a storm due to all the smoke while Luke and Y/N were looking at the girl.
Young Luz: *chuckles nervously* Hehe too much smoke.
The girl then heard clapping.
Y/N: *cough* Great *cough cough* entrance.
Luz looked at Y/N and was about to say something until she was cut off by the teacher.
Teacher: Principles *cough* Office *cough cough* NOW!
Luz just looks down and walks away. She turns her head and looks at Y/N and smiles at him as Y/N smiles back and coughs a bit. She walks out of the classroom and begins her walk to the principal's office
End of Flashback
Y/N: Well if it makes you feel better I loved it. It was the best performance I saw.
Luz: *blushed* R-Really?
Y/N: *smiles* Yea.
This made Luz blush more as she looked down. She was happy about that comment.
Luke: Easy there Y/N you're going to kill the poor girl before she makes it to school.
Y/N was confused for a second while Luz glared at Luke as he just chuckled.
Eda: But anyway don't worry about what those dorks think of you. You have your friends by your side.
This made the group smile at her.
Eda: Plus my advice is walk into class and punch the first dork you see. Establish dominance
Luke: And you say I ruin moments.
Luz: Aw thanks for the advice Eda. But I will not be doing that.
The group landed down on the ground near the school. Y/N and Luke put their wings away and Luz got off Eda's staff, getting her back off her staff.
Y/N: *takes baby dragon off his head* Alright boy I have to go.
Baby dragon starts to whimper.
Y/N: *rubs his head* Aww don't worry boy I promise we can play a lot when I get back home.
Baby dragon: *bark* promise?
Y/N: *smiles* I promise.
Baby dragon started to wake his tail happily and bark. Y/N smiled and rubs his head.
Eda: *smiles* Well last chance kids to come back and earn your new bad girl coven badge.
She held up a badge that had the words "Quiter badge" and in the middle was a student with his eyes closed, not caring, and had his cap facing backwords.
Eda: Quitting it's like trying but easier.
Luke: Yea no thanks.
Luz: Nah. I'll just earn it when I quit showering.
Y/N: Please tell me you're joking.
Luz: *giggles* Maybe. Bye Eda.
Y/N: See ya later Eda.
The three friends start to run off to Hexside.
Eda: Hold on.
Eda throws her hand on Luz's head making her turn around. Both Y/N and Luke stop and watch.
Luke: Was that necessary?
Eda: [Hand crawls back onto Eda] Yes it was [reattaches her hand] Now Luz try not to be a goody Luz shoes. Y/N try your best not to be too much of a show off and Luke... Be less Lukey.
Luke: Gee thanks.
Y/N: Got it.
Luz: Thanks Eda. In fact I wrote a heartfelt song to commemorate his occasion.
Luz takes out sock puppets of Her, Eda, Luke, and Y/N's.
Eda: *flies off* Whoops would you look at that the winds caught me! See ya kids later!
Luz:... You guys want to hear it right?
Luz turned around and noticed Luke had alright started walking. Luz pouts but sees Y/N with the sock puppet version of himself on his right hand doing a high pitch voice.
Sock puppet Y/N: Hey you'll get your chance.
Luz: *smiles* Thanks Y/N.
Sock puppet Y/N: Who's this Y/N you're talking about? I'm a sock puppet Y/N.
Luz couldn't help but giggle from Y/N's sock voice. She then puts the sock puppet version of her on her hand.
Sock puppet Luz: You know how to make her feel better.
Sock puppet Y/N: Yep.
The two just chuckle until they hear Luke.
Luke: Hey guys come on!
Y/N&Luz: Coming.
The two put away the sock puppets and went to catch up to Luke. As the three friends were walking up to Hexside they stopped and looked up at the blue banter saying "Welcome to the New Semester".
Y/N&Luz: Wooow.
Luke: Impressive.
The three friends start walking around seeing students carrying books, walking and talking with each other, and parking a pet horse.
Y/N: I got to say this place is Amazing.
Luke: We were just here not too long ago.
Luz: And it's still amazing.
Luke just rolled his eyes from his friends' antics. As they were walking Y/N noticed a certain green hair witch girl walking around holding her books with her abomination behind her.
Y/N: *walks up to her* Hey Amity.
Amity: *waves* Hey Y/N.
As she waves the abomination copies her movement's.
Amity: Luz, and Martins. Congrats on not getting into the baby class. I'm impressed *looks at Luke* Especially you Martins.
Luke: Oh haha Blight.
Both Luz and Y/N chuckle.
Y/N: Thanks Amity.
Luz: *holds out her hand* Up top.
Y/N holds up his hand as well as Amity high five both of them. But then her abomination also high five them as well but missed their hands and hit their faces covering both of them in abomination goo. Luke just lightly chuckled but then got abomination goo all over his face.
Luke: *glares* I didn't want one.
Amity: *smirks* I know.
Amity and her abomination walked away as the three friends whipped the goo off their faces.
Luke: I hate her.
Y/N: *chuckles* You two will get along eventually.
Luke just rolled his eyes.
Luz: Alright guys, our first day at hexside. A chance for us to discover our true magical potential.
Y/N: Hehe yep *squeeze his hand* I want to find out as well.
Luke: (Better control would be better) And maybe you two will start dating.
This caused both Y/N and Luz to blush as they glared at Luke.

The three friends were confused at first but then Luz felt something in her bag. Her bag opened up and saw King popping his head out.
Y/N&Luz: King!?
Luke: Why are you here?
King: *gets out off the bag* You 're a free ride to the best buffet in town.
King jumps into the trash can and starts digging inside it.
King: The trash cans are filled with half eaten gold.
King then pulls out a half eaten donut. Luke just facepalms.
Luke: Of course.
Y/N: Hold on a second.
Y/N takes his bag off and opens it to reveal baby dragon popping his head out barking at Y/N.
Y/N: You two huh boy?
Baby dragon: *bark bark* I wanted to follow king.
Y/N just chuckled and rubbed baby dragon's head making it purr.
Luke: *sigh* We don't have time to send them back now.
Y/N: I guess you're right *looks at baby dragon* stay out of trouble ok.
Baby dragon nods his head
Luz: And remember if anyone ask king we don't know you.
The three friends start to walk off leaving King and Baby dragon by themselves.
King: Have a wonderful school day People-I-Don't-Know.
Baby dragon: *bark* Who are they again?
Just then three random students appeared behind king.
Strangers: We really needed to hear that.
Baby dragon just looked at them confused.
The three friends started walking up to the entrance of hexside. They then saw their two friends Willow and Gus.
Luz: Hey guys!
Willow&Gus: Guys!
Luz: Hello our fellow Hexoleos!
Luke: Hex who now?
Luz: I'm still working on the name.
Willow: *giggles* Anyway *winks and does a pose* Hello classmates.
Luke: *smirks* Thanks for the warm welcome little flower.
This made Willow blush.
Gus: You did it guys!
Gus drew a spell circle, grabbed it, and threw it in the air. What came out was blue letters saying: "BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME!" Both Luz and Y/N sweat drop as Luke and Willow just glared at Gus.
Luke: Well thanks for the congrats.
Gus: *chuckles nervously* Sorry I uh was covering my bases.
Willow: So do you guys know who those witches are?
The three friends turned around to the banners behind them.
Willow: Those are the heads of the main nine coven's. Each one excelled in a magic school like Glandus, , and of course Hexside.
Y/N: Wow.
Willow: Are you three prepared to enter these hallowed halls?
Luke: As long as they don't try to kill me.
Luz: That's what we're going to figure out right now.
Y/N: *starts running up the stairs* See you guys later!
Both Y/N and Luz start heading inside with Luke following behind. He was stopped by Willow for a second.
Willow: Umm Luke.
Luke: Don't worry I'm fine.
Willow: *smiles a bit* Ok.
Luke: *rubs her head* Good to see ya again though little flower.
Willow blushes as Luke chuckles while Gus looks at the scene confused.
Luke: Welp better catch up to those two.
Luke starts walking up stares.
Gus: See ya later Luke!
Gus draws another circle and throws it in the air to reveal the words: "GOODBYE FOREVER!" Luke just looks back and glares at Gus as Willow does the same.
Gus: You know what I'm just get rid of these.
Luke: Yea you should.
Luke starts to walk inside following his friends. The scene changes to principal Bump sitting at his desk watching a crystal global.
News reporter: A terrible development at Glandus High School. Students and teachers were found unconscious and without magic. The cause remains unknown.
Bump: Ha! Take that Glandus! *Smirks smugly* Looks like this year's grudgby's match is going to be a forfeit.
The door to Bump's office opens to reveal the three friends. The three friends walk up to him.
Luz: Hiya princy-B! Can I call you that?
Bump: Absolutely not.
Luke: I tried to tell her.
Bump: Now today we will be visited by the Emperor's coven for a daily inspection.
Luke: (Huh. They have those here to)
Bump: If we want to impress them you three need to join a coven track before they arrived.
Luke: Understood.
Y/N: Actually principle Bump sir
Luz: *pulls out a list* We've made our own schedule.
Luke: Before you ask it was against my will.
Luz: First vet cares for mystical beast.
Y/N: Then healing and dealing
Luz&Y/N: And then after lunch.
Bump: *laughs* Studying multiple tracks. No one does that.
Luke: Yea I had a feeling.
Luz: Then we can be the first.
Y/N: Yea principle Bump give us a chance.
Bump: No you three won't. According to the rules a good witch needs to hocus focus.
Luke: (sounds like the off brand of hocus pocus.)
Bump: You three can only choose one of the nine tracks. And you will not embarrass me in front of the inspector.
Luz: But all the tracks are so cool! Is there some kind of enchanted article of clothing that can sort this out for us?
Luke: Really Luz?
Bump: Well there us to be but..
Flashback
Principal Bump holding the Choosy Hat, a brown classic witch's hat, over a young student's head
Young Student: Oh, I'm so excited!
The Choosy Hat is placed on their head. It turns around, a scarecrow-like face on the pointed part.
Choosy Hat: And now... I feed! [brim grows teeth and closes around the student's head]

Y/N: I don't know if we can be able to choose just one.
Bump: Then I'll choose one for you three. Eeny, meeny, miny, moe! Ah yes! The potions track! You humans are filled with liquids right?
Luke: Last I checked yes.
Bump draws a circle as two circles appear below both Luz and Luke. A bright light shined on them making their clothes change color into orange.
Luz: Oh. I guess I liked to pour things into other things.
Luke: It wouldn't be that bad.
Y/N: Wait, how come I haven't changed yet?
Bump: For you Y/N you are going to be put into the beast class. I feel like it would be best for your caliber.
Y/N: Well I guess.
Bump draws a circle as Y/n's sleeves and leggings become orange.
Bump: Due to you three recent actions the school could use a donation for the Emperor's coven.
Both Y/N and Luz sweat drops as Luke just sighs.
Bump: *draws a circle* Now off you two go.
After the circle was complete the three friends' bodies started to glow as they levitated and were sent out of Bumps class. The three were now outside with Bump's door closed.
Y/N: *sighs* Well I guess I'll see you guys later then.
Luke: See ya then.
Luz: *sad* bye Y/N.
Y/N started walking away from Luke and Luz to his class as they both walked the opposite way. As Luz and Luke were walking Luke noticed Luz with a sad expression.
Luke: Sad we can't do multiple tracks?
Luz: Well that's one of the reasons. The other one is I wish the three of us would do this together. Now I feel like I'm alone
Luke: Ow.
Luz: Oh uh no offense Luke.
Luke: No I get it you need your significant other with you.
This made Luz blush as she elbowed Luke. Luke lets out a silent oof as he chuckles. The two made it to the potions class and walked in.
Luke: Huh not a bad cl-

Luke and Luz turned to where the voice was coming from and they saw a very pissed off Boscha.
Luke: Oh it's you.
Boscha: What the hell are you doing here!?
Luke: Oh can't you tell *gesture to his outfit* I go here now.
Boscha: Who in the right mind let you in!?
Luke: Aww I'm hurt you don't want me here? *Walks up to her* I thought you would like me being here.
Boscha: And why the hell would I-
Luke cut her off by putting his index finger on her chin and looked her dead in the eyes.
Luke: You know you really are cute when you're mad.
This made Boscha blush red as she was stuttering.
Boscha: I-I- you
Luke: I guess you're mad that I didn't kiss you. If you want I could right now.
This made Boscha blush even harder. Luke lightly chuckled from her reaction. But before anything else happened Boscha just punches Luke right in his stomach making him fall down and hold his stomach.
Boscha: *blushes bright red* JERK!
Boscha walks off leaving Luke on the ground and Luz staring at him.
Luz: There is a thing called too much teasing.
Luke: *cough cough* I noticed.
Luke then gets up off the floor and starts making his way towards his seat with Luz following behind him. The two went to their seats. As they sat down the teacher suddenly appeared.
Potion Teacher: Welcome to a new semester! Let's get stirring! Today we'll make... [grabs potion] fog brews. [smashes bottle on the floor; pops up in front of their desk] Begin!
Luke: Geez an over hyped teacher.
Luz: Well I guess potions are fun! [pours test tube into cauldron] We could spend the rest of your life studying this, right?
Luke: *stirs the pot* Quiet and easy. My kind of class.
Luz just sighs until she hears a loud explosion outside. She looks out the window and sees Willow and Selene facing off against each other. Selene takes out a crystal ball and a mummy-ghost comes out of it.
Luz: Oracle track!
Luke: Uhh Luz.
Willow traces a spell circle that she slams on the ground. A carnivorous flower grows out of the ground and hisses.
Luz: The Plant track!
Yellow smoke starts to come out of the cauldron.
Luke: Luz.
The ghost and plant go and attack each other.
Luz: *amazed* Wow.
Luke: LUZ!
Luz: *turns around* What is it Lu-
Luz sees a whole bunch of smoke and the teacher staring at her. She saw Luke was stirring as fast as he could to keep it from getting worse. She looked down and saw she poured too much of the potion in there and set it down and smiled nervously. The teacher just sighs and walks away as Luke was glaring at her making Luz just chuckled nervously.
Luke: (I wonder if Y/N is having a better time.)
Y/N POV
As me and the others went our separate ways I began to walk to the beast class. It feels weird not having my friends by my side though. I let out a little sigh.
Zack: Being alone sucks huh?
Me: *turns and looks at Zack* Yea.
Zack: Hey *puts his hand on my shoulder* chin up buddy. You'll still be able to see them around.
Me: I guess you're right.
Eventually I made it to class and as I walked in I looked around the classroom and saw the students talking. They all saw me and stared at me. I just let out a nervous smile and waved as I started to walk to my seat. I started to hear people whispering to each other.
Student #1: Hey is that..
Student #2: The son of Igneel.
Student 3: Whoa really!?
Student #4: He looks so hot.
I couldn't help but blush a bit as I kept walking to the back of the class as I took a seat. The teacher entered the class.
Teacher: Good day students. Today we are going to be learning about dragons.
I just slammed my head on my desk. Luckily nobody noticed.
Zack: Huh. A little too coincidental huh?
Me: Defined a little.
Teacher: Now then dragons have lived as longer than any witch has. *writes on the board* Dragons come in different elements as well.
I looked up and saw what he wrote on the board: Wind, Iron, Lighting, Light, Dark, and Fire.
Teacher: These are the main types of dragons that people know about.
Well knowing there are different types of dragons out there isn't too bad to know about. I then saw a student raise their hand.
Student #1: Sir, does that mean there are other types of dragons?
Teacher: Well no one really knows. Dragons haven't been seen for quite some time.
Student #2: Sir, what about Igneel Dragneel?
Teacher: Aah yes Igneel Dragneel. He was a fine dragon. No one really knows where he is. He went missing sometime ago.
Really? No one knows where he is?
Student #2: What if we ask his son?
Everyone turned and looked at me as I sweat and smiled nervously.
Y/N: Uh S-Sadly I don't know either.
Everyone just groaned and turned back around. Jeez not my fault.
Teacher: *clears his throat* Anyway, as I was saying, dragons are known for their brute strength and keen senses. However dragons are known from their hard scales.
Hard scales?
Teacher: Their scales are nearly indestructible. Normal witch magic such as ours wouldn't be able to pierce their scales.
So dragon scales are that strong huh.
Student #3: So teacher, how can one beat a dragon?
Teacher: In order for one to defeat a dragon you must master the art of Dragon slayer magic.
This made everyone start to mumble and talk as I listen.
Teacher: Yes, that's right, students. Dragon slayer magic was made to combat or to kill a dragon. This type of magic is difficult or more likely impossible to achieve, due to the fact the user must be taught by a dragon or born with it.
Student #4: Teacher, if what you say is true, why would a dragon teach a witch this type of magic?
Teacher: *pushes his glasses up* Seems you haven't done your research on the great war of the boiling Isle.
There was a great war in the boiling Isle?
Student #5: Isn't that the war between witches and dragons? I thought that was just a myth…. Or a telltale that parents tell to their kids.
Teacher: Oh the war was real my students. Both dragons and witches fought each other for the control of the Isles for a long period of time. The witches at first didn't stand a chance. That was until a certain dragon added them. This dragon taught the witches how to use dragon slayer magic and together they were able to restore balance to the Isle.
Whoa there was a war between the dragons and witches. Before any more questions were asked the bell rang telling us class was over.
Teacher: Oh no guess that's all the time we have for today. Be sure to study hard, kids.
The teacher leaves the room as everyone else starts to get up and grab their bags and leaves as well. Some students paused and looked at me and started murmuring.
Student #3: If the war is real, you think he might want revenge?
Student #4: Maybe?
I just sighed as I started heading out the door. I hope the others are having a better day than I am.
3rd POV
We cut back to Luz and Luke walking out the door.
Luz: *rolls her shoulders* Stirring is the pits.
Luke: *rolls his shoulders* It wouldn't have happened if you just stopped pouring in the vile.
Luz: *pouts* I said I was sorry.
Luke: *rolls his eyes* Yea yea. What's next on the list.
Luz pulled out the list reading: "Potions for Beginners, Potions in Motion, Potions (Again), Still Potions, Potions 'Till You Die, Potions After Death".
Luke: Wow why am I not surprised?
Luz: *sighs*
As the two were about to start walking, as they were walking they noticed Y/N walking up to them.
Luz: *runs up to him* Y/N!
Y/N: *sees them and smiles* Hey guys. How was class?
Luke: It could have been better if *narrows his eyes at Luz* Someone paid attention to what she was doing.
Luz just looks away whistling nervously as Luke continues to glare at her. Y/N just chuckled.
Luke: *closes his eyes sighs* Anyway *looks at Y/N* How about you?
Y/N: *looks down sadly* Could have been better.
Luz and Luke notice Y/N's sad tone. They looked at each other and walked up to him.
Luz: *puts her hand on his shoulder* Hey, we might not be in the same class together, but we are still here for you.
Luke just pats Y/N's shoulder. This made Y/N smile as him and his friends started to walk around the hallways. As they were walking Luz notices one of the girls putting away one of the magic balls she used to fight Willow. Luz stopped walking causing Luke and Y/N to stop as well.
Y/N: Hey Luz what is it?
Luz: That. *points to the crystal ball* Maybe it can show us if we are in the right track.
Y/N: *rubs his thumb* Maybe. Well only one way to find out.
Luz nods her head, she and Y/N were about to walk over there until they were pulled by Luke.
Luke: Hold it. *lifts them up and puts them down* We are not doing that.
Luz: Why not?
Y/N: Come on Luke. We just want to see if we're on the right track.
Luke: Guys listen if we do this I'm pretty sure we are going to get into more trouble *crosses his arms and closes his eyes* If we show Bump that we are good in the tracks we are in he'll probably let us study more *opens his eyes* So let's just-
Luke sees that both Y/N and Luz are gone.
Luke: *looks around* What the? Where the- [hears them giggle] *facepalms* Oh no.
The scene changes with Luz and Y/N each holding a crystal ball in their hands.
Luz: Ok let's do this.
Y/N: I wonder what kind of future we will see.
Luke: The one of you two getting in trouble mostlikley!
Both Y/N and Luz flinch as they turned their heads and saw Luke marching at them.
Y/N: *nervous* L-Luke. We can explai-
Luke: Save it. Look, what we are doing isn't right *grabs the ball from Luz* Now we are gong to put it back now.
Luz: *pulls the orb* But we just want to see if we are on the right track!
Luke: *pulls it back* We can figure that out on our own! Now let go!
Luz: *pulls it back towards her* No!
Y/N: Guys wait!
Both Luke and Luz continue to pull the orb back and forth as Y/N was trying to get them to stop. As they were pulling the orb, they didn't notice that the orb started to shine. As it did, Y/N looked down and watched as it started to show something. He saw Luke but his body and clothes were black and white. Suddenly the Luke in the ball started to change into some kind of red demon, Luke's inner demon. It turned around and gave a sinister smile making Y/N flinch. Luke's eyes shot wide open as he let go of the ball. Luz, who was busy still pulling, didn't notice Luke let go of the ball. This caused her to stumble back and fall down making the ball fly in the air. Y/N looked at it, put his crystal ball down, and ran to the other one.
Y/N: I got it!
Y/N saw the crystal ball slowly coming down as it was about to shatter on the ground. Before it could Y/N jump and slide on the ground and caught the ball in his left hand as he let out a sigh of relief.
Y/N: Phew. That was close.
As Y/N looked up he saw the crystal ball started to activate again. He looked at it and saw a version of him standing with his sword in both hands panting heavily. He noticed that he was in some kind of abandoned ruins similar to the ones at the knee. He saw the boiling rain was falling down lightly. Soon the rain stopped and the ball switched and showed the person he was in battle with. He was the same guy that the emperor assigned to watch Y/N only this time his helmet was on the floor cracked and the darkness was shadowing his fast. Soon the clouds started to blow away as the moonlight shone to reveal his face. Before it could show Y/N heard something.
Luz: Luke are you ok!?
Y/N turned his head and saw Luke on the ground holding his chest panting heavily. Y/N gets up and carries the ball to his friends.
Y/N: *Runs up to Luke* What happened!?
Luz: I don't know! He suddenly fell and started holding his chest!
Y/N started to think and remember what Luke had told both of them. He knelt down and put his hand on Luke's shoulder.
Y/N: It's ok Luke.
Luz: *kneels down and hugs Luke* We're here.
Luke started to pant less and less until he was able to catch his breath.
Luke: *huff* T-Thanks for that.
Luz: *lets go of Luke* We're sorry Luke. We should have listened to you.
Luke: *rubs Luz's head* Well ain't the first time you didn't.
Luz: Hey! *pouts* That was uncalled for.
The group shared a laugh, except for Luz as she was still pouting.
Y/N: Alright let's clean up before we get in trouble.
?: Toooo late.
The three friends flinched as they looked for the source of the voice. Y/N looked down and saw the orb had activated and a spirit came out of it.
Spirit: You three will be in trouble very soon.
Luz: Uhhh what does that mean?
Luke: *turns his head* I think that's what he means.
Both Y/N and Luz turned their heads and saw Principle Bump glaring at the three friends.
Luz: *chuckles nervously* I-It's not what it looks like.
The scene cuts to Bump dragging both Y/N and Luz, with Luke in front of him to keep an eye on him, walking them through the halls.
Y/N: Principle Bump we can explain.
Luz: We weren't studying other subjects! We uh... fog brew!
Luz tosses her potion on the ground, which doesn't work as everyone watches in pure silence.
Luke: Please tell me you didn't think that would work?
Luz: I just had high hopes ok.
Just then they saw the trash can shake to reveal King and Baby dragon.
Luz: King! Baby Dragon! Vouch for our character!
King: Uhh right. We don't know you!
Baby dragon: *bark bark* Stranger Danger!
Y/N: Buddy, I love you, but now was not the time.
Bump drags the two as Luke continues to walk. Soon they all made it to a door with bars on the door. Bump uses magic to open the door and pushes the three in the room. As the group looked around they saw a teacher with 6 eyes on his scroll. In front of him were three students. One was a girl with brown hair with four wefted bangs and a messy bun held together by a dark orange hair tie. She wears a fish hook earring on one ear. She wears a similar cowl to other students, however, hers is patterned, ripped, and held together by a large thumbtack. She wears a gray outfit and initially wore lighter gray sleeves and leggings. Her skirt is ripped on the side and tied together.
The next one a boy, he had brown short hair wefted over the right side of his forehead. He has thick black eyebrows. He has a pointed nose and brown eyes. He has a cape similar to those of the other students at Hexside, except his cowl is ripped.
The final student was a dog with a human face. He is covered with chestnut fur with light tan fur on his stomach and neck area. He has dark orange tufts of hair on his head and two ears pointing upward, with a small gold hoop earring on his right ear. He has blue eyes, black eyebrows, and wears square glasses with white tape in the center. He wears a Hexside School uniform and at first, the gray sleeves of the detention track on his forelegs.
Luke: (Is that a dog with a human face?)
Everyone turns and looks at the three friends, as Y/N and Luz start to sweat.
Luz: What is this place?
Bump: This is the place where all troublemakers go.
Bump draws a circle and turns the three friend's sleeves and leggings dark gray
Bump: The detention track.
Both Luz and Y/N gasp as Luke covers his ears.
Luz&Y/N: NOOOO!
Luke: *uncovers his ears* Wait *looks at Bump* I thought Detention was-
Bump: Yes well, actual detention still needs... repairs. In the meantime, I am keeping all troublemakers far away from the eyes of the inspector. You three may try for a new track next year.
Y/N: But principle Bump We'll be in the human world by next year.
Bump: *walks away* Maybe you three will do better in a human school.
The door slams behind him leaving the friends back in the detention class.
Luke: Well that could have gone better *looks over and sees Luz glaring at him* What? It's true.
Luz just sighs and turns to see the students turn their heads and look ahead while the teacher is on his phone. Luz took a seat next to the detention students as both Y/N and Luke stood near the desk.
Luz: Hello, fellow detentioners. Room for three more? [looks around] I like the little spikeys in your hair.
Y/N: It looks great.
Both Y/N and Luz look at Luke, which makes him sigh.
Luke: It makes you look cute.
The brown haired girl blushes from Lukes compliment.
Detention Teacher: Hey! You all better be quiet, unless you want to scrub the classroom again.
Luz: Hey, don't blame any of them.
Y/N: Yea! We were the ones who were talking.
Detention teacher: Oh a couple of heroes.
The teacher draws a circle, creates a bucket and mop in Luz's hands, Clean spray and a rag in Y/N's hands, and Gloves and a broom in Luke's hands.
Luke: *walks away and sighs* Why am I not surprised?
Both Luz and Y/N followed Luke. The brown haired girl looked back at the three friends and smiled.
Meanwhile with King and Baby dragon. They are seen walking around Hexside.
King: Time to scrounge through the trash.
King climbs into the trash as baby dragon watches. The baby started to get bored of eating from the trash and decided to walk off and look for Y/N.
Back with the others
Currently they all were cleaning. Luke was sweeping the floor, Y/N was spraying and wiping the walls and Luz was polishing the bars on the windows.
Y/N: Ok we might be in detention but we can't be missing that much right?
Before Luke could comment they hear a class walking by the track.
Spider Teacher: Alright, kids. Who wants to go on a field trip to the astral planes?
Braxas: Yay!
Student #3: I do!
Luke: *sweatdrop* Is that even safe?
Y/N: *sweatdrop* Seems like it.
Luz: *sad* I do.
Both Y/N and Luke walk up to Luz. Y/N gives her a little hug as Luke pats her head. This made Luz cheer up a bit. They then heard Willow's voice.
Willow: Guys!
They turned and saw Willow and Gus approaching them on the other side of the window.
Luz: Oh, my gosh! I missed you so much. Let me squeeze your faces. [squeezes Willow's face]
Luke: Luz it hasn't even been a whole day.
Luz: But it's been soo long.
Luke: (why do I even bother?)
Gus: What's going on? We didn't see you guys in any classes.
Luke: Well long story short Bump put us in the detention track since he saw us *does quotation marks with his hands" "mixing magic".
Willow couldn't help but giggle from Lukes nonchalant attitude. But she then relized what Luke said.
Willow: The detention track? You guys can't do anything there.
Gus: You'll learn less than you guys did before.
Luz: No, we're better than that!
Luke: We?
Luz just glares at Luke.
Y/N: A-Anyway can you guys help us?
Gus: Don't worry we'll get you out dead or alive.
Both Luke and Willow just glared and shook their heads at Gus.
Gus: Ok alive.
Everyone then heard a chair squeak.
Luz: It's the teacher. Gotta go!
Y/N: See yea guys.
Willow and Gus nodded and started to walk away. Luke turns around and sees the same brown haired girl only this time she was in his face.
Luke: Uhhh Can I hel-
The girl put her finger on Luke's lips and told him to shush. She removed her finger from Lukes lips and gestured to them to follow her. They decided to and walked up to a chalkboard. The girl grabs a piece of chalk and draws a square, then she draws a keyhole in the middle of the square. After that she then places the chalk in the center and turns it like a key making it open revealing a passageway.
Y/N&Luz: *whispers* Whoa!
Luke: *whispers* Impressive.
The brown haired girl climbs inside. The three looked at each other for a moment.
Luke: *whispers* Should we?
Luz nods her head and steps inside as Y/N follows behind her. Luke just sighs and sees the brown haired girls hand out.
Luke: (oh what the hell?)
Luke takes it as she helps him inside as the door closes behind them.
Luke: *looks around* So what is this place?
Brown haired girl: This is the last room you'll ever see alive.
Luke:... Welp at least I got to see a pretty girl before I die.
This made the girl blush as both Y/N and Luke chuckled.
Brown haired girl: *blushes* I-I was kidding.
Luke: *smirks* I wasn't.
This made the girl blush even more.
Brown haired girl: A-Anyway *clears her throat* I'm Viney.
Luz: My name's Luz.
Y/N: I'm Y/N.
Luke: *points his thumb to himself* Luke.
Viney: Thanks for standing up for us back there. Not many people would do that.
Luke: *shrugs his shoulder* Ehh *points to Luz and Y/N* They did something I was just dragged into the mess.
Both Y/N and Luz walked up to him.
Y/N: *nudges Luke* Aww don't be like that.
Luz: *nudge Luke* You would have done the same.
Luke just crosses his arms and grumples. Viney watches and giggles.
Viney: Anyway follow me.
Viney walks up and opens a door and walks inside. Luz begins to follow behind her. Y/N was about to start walking but was stopped by Luke.
Luke: Are we sure we should do this? We are already on thin ice with Bump.
Y/N: True… Buuuuut.
Luke: Buuuut.
Y/N: *looks at Luke with a smile* Maybe it would work out.
Luke: *deadpan look* You just live in a maybe world don't you.
Y/N: *smiles* Yep.
Luke sighs.
Luz: Hey guys! Come look at this!
Both Luke and Y/N start to walk inside and what they see shocked them both. Inside they saw a tower-like room with a spiraling ramp. The walls, floor, and ceiling are covered in doors and windows.
Y/N&Luz: Whoa!
Zack: Haven't seen this place for a while.
Y/N: (You've been here before?)
Zack: *nods his head* Yep plenty of times.
Luke: What is this place?
Viney: You guys are one of us troublemakers now, so you get special access to the Secret Room of Shortcuts! *calls out* Hey Jerbo! Barcus! You can stop hiding now!
One of the doors opens to reveal the same boy and dog from before.
Jerbo: How do we know they're cool, man?
Luke: We haven't walked out and told Bump, have we?
Jerbo: W-Well I guess not *looks at Barcus* What do you think?
Barcus: *bark*
Jerbo: Barcus says the girl's aura is strong and silly, like a baby's laughter. She's in!
Luke: Sounds like Luz.
Luz: *offended* Hey!
Y/N: *pats her head* It just means you're sweet and innocent.
Luz blushed a bit, making the other giggle or chuckle.
Barcus: [looks at Y/N] *barks*
Jerbo: He says the f/c boy aura is bright and strong, like a strong fire. He's in as well!
This made Y/N chuckle and rub the back of his head. Barcus looked at Luke, but as soon as he did he put his head down and started to whimper.
Jerbo: B-Barcus says *gulps* The black haired one's aura is cold and dark, almost like some kind of demon.
Luke: *sighs* Yea I get that a lot. *turns and heads for the exit* Guess I'm not welcome.
Luke was about to leave until he was stopped by Viney.
Viney: *walks in front of him with her arms up* Hold on. *looks at Jerbo and Barcus* Guys come on he's cool. Trust me.
Jerbo and Barcus looked at Viney then at Y/N and Luz to see them pleading for them to let Luke stay.
Barcus: *bark bark*
Jerbo: *sigh* Well if Barcus and Viney agrees then I guess he can stay *points at Luke* I'll be keeping an eye on you.
Luke turns and looks at them which freaked Jerbo and Barcus causing them to duck in fear.
Luke: *sighs looks at Viney* Are you sure you want me around?
Viney: " You haven't walked out and told Bump, have you?" *smirks*
Luke: Touche.
The group shared a laugh and started to walk around.
Luz: I love secret rooms!
Y/N: *walks up to a door* Where does this lead?
The scene changes to baby dragon sniffing around looking for Y/N. Right now he is having trouble due to the fact Y/N's scent has been hard to track. He started to look down sadly until he picked up Y/N's scent and started wagging his tail. He ran to where Y/N scent was and saw Amity walking back and forth talking to herself.
Amity: So, you two go to the same school now, that doesn't change anything. [sighs]
Baby dragon looks over and sees Y/N behind the lockers and starts to walk up to him, but before he could he saw Y/N get pulled back inside as the locker closed. Baby dragon walked up and rubbed on the door as he let out sad whimpers.
Amity: Huh? *looks over* Baby dragon?
Baby dragon turned and saw Amity and started wagging his tail. He started rubbing on Amity's leg making the witch girl giggle.
Amity: Aww *bends down and pets him* I'm glad to see you too.
This caused the baby dragon to purr as Amity picked him up and held him out.
Amity: What are you doing here? The school has a no pe- I mean wild animal policy.
This caused the baby dragon to whimper sadly as he did the puppy dog eyes on Amity. An arrow hit Amity's heart with the words "CUTE" on it.
Amity: (HE'S SOOOO CUTE!) *clears her throat* W-Well I guess I can't leave you here. Let's go find Y/N then.
Baby dragon started to happily bark and nuzzle his head in Amity's shoulder making the young Blight blush.
Amity: (WHY IS HE SO CUTE!?)
Meanwhile with Y/N and the others. Luke had grabbed Y/N from the back of his collar and held him up.
Luke: How about we not open doors.
Y/N let out a light chuckle and rubbed the back of his head. Luke sighs and puts Y/N down.
Viney: This place connects the different parts of the school. We found it after being thrown in the detention track. The witch who made it is known as...
Viney gestures to a defaced portrait and wall of signatures
Viney: Lord Calamity.
Jerbo: And don't forget about.
Jerbo points to another defected portrait.
Jerbo: Lord Soldier.
Zack: *floats over to the portrait* Huh. Lord Soldier. I like it.
Jerbo: They started this troublemaker wall and we added our names in their honor.
Luke: *sweat drops* (Sounds like some kind of colt.
Luz: This place is amazing. I bet you guys can get into so much trouble here.
Viney: [chuckles] Sure, we can, but we can also do so much more.
Viney pointed up, the others looked where she was pointing and saw Barcus looking at a class. Luke walked up there to see what class he was watching. Barcus saw Luke beside him and got nervous as Luke just sighed. Once they returned their attention back to the class. They were looking into the Oracle track class.
Oracle Teacher: Remember, seeing the end of a life is the beginning of reading a fortune. We have to work backwards from it to see the truth.
The teacher folds a fortune teller. Barcus also folds one.
Luke: *nods his head* Not bad.
Both Luke and Barcus closed the door and started walking back down stairs to the others.
Viney: We aren't allowed to study any kind of magic, so we study every kind of magic in secret.
Luz: You actually like school?
Luke: That's shocking.
Viney: Yeah, we might have liked it too much.
Cut to Jerbo wearing a Plant track uniform in a classroom with Principal Bump.
Jerbo: [voiceover] I tried mixing plant magic with abominations.
An earthy abomination grows out from under the flower Jerbo grew. The abomination throws a flower pot.
Jerbo: [voiceover] Bump was not thrilled.
Principal Bump gets hit in the face with a wad of dirt. Cut to Barcus (wearing a Potions track uniform), the Potions Teacher, and Principal Bump in a Potions classroom.
Jerbo: [voiceover] Barcus makes potions with oracle magic.
Barcus mixes a potion, then dumps a crystal ball into it. The Potions Teacher looks into the cauldron and sees themself rapidly age. They scream and fall backwards, flipping a large cauldron over themself. Principal Bump shakes his head at Barcus. Cut to a Healing classroom, where Viney, wearing a Healing track uniform, is looking at a scratch on a Bard student's arm as Principal Bump enters the room.
Viney: [voiceover] Mixing healing and beast keeping was slightly unconventional.
Viney heals the Bard's arm, then draws another spell circle. A young griffin bursts through the chalkboard.
Viney: [voiceover] But Puddles was a great assistant, dang it!
[Puddles coughs up lollipops and Viney notices Bump glaring at her. Cut back to the Secret Room of Shortcuts.]
Viney: We all want to be in more than one coven track! But Bump just says we need to focus.
Luz: Sounds like Bump's priorities are out of whack.
Y/N: Yea people have a right to study what they want.
Everyone looked at Luke as he just sighs.
Luke: *sigh* You should be free to study what you want to improve. I agree.
This made everyone smile as both Y/N and Luz hug Luke.
Luz: Aww look at you opening up.
Y/N: Our Luke is grown up.
Luke: Get. Off. Me.
The group couldn't help but laugh a little. Viney looked at Luke and couldn't help but smile.
Viney: (He really is a nice person.) *looks at Barcus* (I wonder why he said that.)
Back with Amity and baby dragon. The two were walking around trying to find Y/N but weren't having any luck.
Amity: Ugh! Why is it so hard to find him!? *looks at baby dragon* If I had to guess, he probably got himself into some kind of trouble.
Baby dragon just nods his head as Amity sighs.
Amity: Honestly it's like trouble just follows him *smiles* Although I guess it's not that bad.
Amity started to blush bright red and started shaking her head. As she was trying to clear her head she then started to hear people talking.
Student #1: Hey did you hear? The son of Igneel Dragneel goes here now.
Student #2: Wow! Really!?
Student #3: Do you think he's just as strong as Igneel himself?
Student #1: Maybe.
Amity was listening to everyone talking. She kept walking until he walked past some of the female students.
Female Student #1: I have to admit that Dragneel is pretty hot.
This made Amity stop dead in her tracks.
Female Student #2: I know right. Think he has a girlfriend?
Female Student #3: Well he does hang out with that human.
Female Student #2: But she hasn't made a move on him.
Female Student #1: So he's probably single.
This made Amity start to grind her teeth as she was listening. The way other girls were interested in him was making a certain part of her heart ache.
Student #4: Hey if he's a dragneel do you think he would want revenge?
Student #5: You're talking about when his kind lost the war back in the old days.
Student #6: Yea that freak might try something.
When Amity heard that her eyes widened in shock. She remembered that there was a war in the boiling Isle between Dragons and witches. She started to hear them call Y/N other names: Monster, Killer, Evil, etc. Soon Amity drew a circle and a giant abomination came out catching the students' attention. Amity turns her head and stares at them with her golden eye shining.
Amity: If you're done talking then get to class.
Amity&Abomination: Now.
This made all the students panic and started running away as they headed to their class. Amity let out a sigh as her abomination disappeared. She looked down and saw the baby dragon scared as she rubbed it gently.
Amity: I'm sorry boy. It's just that I hate how they kept calling him those names. *remembers Y/N* He's a good person. He's kind and sweet. *looks down sadly* He's not a monster.
Baby dragon goes up and licks Amity check making the girl giggle a bit.
Amity: Aw thanks boy I needed that.
?: Aah. There you are Amity.
Amity flinches and turns her head a bit to see Bump walking up to her. She was scared, if Bump saw her with baby dragon, he would probably ask a bunch of questions. Luckily she was standing in front of a nearby Janitor's closet. She opened it and place baby dragon inside.
Amity: *whispers* Stay here and stay quiet ok.
The baby dragon nods his head as Amity closes the door.
Amity: *turns around* Principle Bump *bows her head* It's good to see you sir.
Bump: *waves his hand* Same to you.
Amity: To what do I owe the pleasure.
Bump: I was just showing the inspector around the school.
Bump gesture to the person beside him. Amity turned and saw the person had pale skin and indigo hair held up in a swirled bun. She wears small, tinted glasses and has a red lower lip and green eyes. She wears a gray dress with a yellow badge, one epaulet, and black gloves.
Bump: Amity, this is the Inspector.
Inspector: Please, to meet you.
Amity: Oh the pleasure is all mine.
Inspector: So this is your best student Bump?
Bump: Yes this is. I'm sure she will give you a find show.
The Inspector nods her head. They all then heard a growling sound. Both Bump and the Inspector were confused but Amity started to panic. She knew that sound belong to baby dragon.
Inspector: Did you hear that?
Bump: What was-
Amity: *panics* T-That was my stomach! Forgive me principle Bump I haven't ain't lunch yet!
The two looked at Amity and confused as she just smiled nervously.
Bump: Yes, well, try to eat properly. Wouldn't want you passing out when you perform.
Amity: Yes sir.
Just then they heard the growling again.
Amity: *chuckles nervously* O-Oh don't worry tummy! *rubs her stomach* I'll make sure to get you some good food!
Bump: Riiiight. *looks at the inspector* Let me take you to the auditorium. Some of my students are ready for you.
Both Bump and the Inspector start to walk off as Amity lets out a sigh of relief. She opened the door and saw baby dragon in a defensive stand as he was growling. Amity bent down and rubbed his head making him calm down.
Amity: Hey what's gotten into you?
The baby dragon lets out a whimper.
Amity: Hey I'm not mad. Just be more careful. *stands up* I have to go now. Stay here and I'll help you look for Y/N later ok.
The baby just nods his head as Amity closes the door and starts walking to the auditorium. But she couldn't help but think of baby dragons reaction.
Amity: (Weird why did he behave like that?)
As Amity left, the baby dragon just sat there until he heard a door open and a whistle sound. Baby dragon turned and saw Y/N whistling to him, making him bark happily. He then jumps at Y/N. Y/N catches and falls down as the door shuts behind them. Both Baby dragon and Y/N fall down on the ground in the center.
Luke: Huh. So that's why you kept going out.
Y/N: *sits up* Yea. It was hard at first *looks around* Must be the walls or something that made it hard to find him.
Viney: *walks up to Y/N* Woow! A Salamander! I read stories about these guys!
Viney started to scratch the back of baby dragon's neck making him pant happily.
Y/N: Wow! Usually when someone tries to touch him, he burns their hand.
Luke: (I can vouch for that.)
Viney: Well I read if you rub them in this spot and approach them carefully they won't.
Jerbo: *walks up to them* Whoa! A real life salamander! It's sooo cool to meet one!
Barcus walked up to them and stared at the dragon as the baby stared at him back. Everyone got worried as the air around the room was thick.
Barcus: *bark bark* You're cool. You're in.
Baby dragon: *bark* Thanks.
Everyone let out a sigh of relief.
Viney: Strang usually salamanders follow.. Other… dragons.
Luke: (Oh boy.)
Viney: *walks up to Y/N* Y/N what is your full name?
Y/N:... Dragneel. Y/N Dragneel.
Everyone but Luke and Luz was shocked.
Jerbo: Wait Y/N! Your last name is Dragneel! As in the son of Igneel Dragneel!
Y/N: Y-Yea.
Barcus: *bark bark*
Jerbo: You're telling me man! I would have never guessed!
Both Jerbo and Barcus were shocked to find out about this. Y/N was having trouble reading if they hated that or liked it. As for Viney.
Viney:... Please leave.
Everyone but Y/N and Luke look at Viney shocked at what he said.
Jerbo: Viney Bu-
Y/N: I get it. *head down* I'll go.
Y/N started walking past Viney as they both had their heads down.
Y/N:*stops walking* ... I don't know what…. He… did to you Viney. But I'm sorry for it.
Y/N continue walking out. Luz was about to go stop him but Luke put his hand on his shoulder signaling her to stay out of it. Soon Y/N reached a door and step out as it closed behind him…. Except.
Luke: *shakes his head* (I don't even have the heart to tell him that was the wrong door.)
Viney: [lets out a sigh] *Turns around* Sorry you guys had to see that. Anyway *puts up a smile* Here [pulls out a marker] Would you two like to add your names to the troublemaker wall?
Luz and Luke looked at Viney and could tell she was putting on a fact smile. Luz looked at Luke as he looked back at her. Luz was basically telling Luke she was going to speak her mind and Luke just sighed knowing full well he couldn't stop her.
Luz: Why did you do that?
Viney:... *sighs* Luz listen-
Luz: No you listen! Y/N isn't anything like his father! He's a good person!
Viney: *irritated* Like I'm going to go by that! He's a dragneel!
Luz: So what!?
As the two begin to bicker back and forth Luke notices Jerbo and Barcus standing by awkwardly.
Luke: (Seems like they want to say something.)
Just then they heard Willow's voice through the walls.
Willow: Luz. Y/N. Luke. Where are you guys? We're here to get you out of that horrible class.
Luke: (Things just went from bad to worse.)
Everyone looks at Luke and Luz.
Luz: Eh, they're probably looking for some other Luz and Luke.
Luke: (Riiiight. Good save Luz.)
Viney walks past Luz and peeks through the main entrance. She sees Willow and Gus looking around the detention classroom.
Gus: Maybe they already booked it.
Willow starts to whistles like she's calling a dog
Luke: *Sweat Drops* (What are we? Some kind of lost puppies?)
Gus: She did say they were better than this place.
After hearing that Viney closed the door.
Viney: Oh. You two think you're better than us?
Luz: No, no, it's not like that. I just didn't think we deserved- I mean, none of us deserve-
Luke: *stands up and puts his hand on Luz shoulder* Luz stop. You're making it worse.
Jerbo: Jacques! I should've known you'd look down on us. Everyone else does.
Barcus: *sneezes* [You have an aura of lies.]
Viney: It's fine, I just... I thought *looks at Luke* someone finally understood us. But, *puts her head down* maybe you should just leave. [points to the door]
Luz: *sad* I understand
Both Luz and Luke walk past Viney.
Luke: *stops behind Viney* What your feeling is what Y/N is feeling as well. He was really happy to find people that liked him, but they ended up kicking him out. Maybe you should stop and think more about it.
Luke continues to walk out as Viney turns and looks at them leaving. Cut back to the classroom, where Gus plays with the Detention Teacher's mustache.
Gus: Man, this guy can sleep through anything. [grabs mop] I'm gonna test that theory.
Willow: No. We have to find Luke and the others. If only these walls could talk.
Just then the door to the place opens to reveal a sad Luz.
Luz: Hey, guys. [slumps onto the floor face first]
Luke: *pops his head out* Seriously. You are going to get into a concussion.
Willow: Thank you, walls! [helps Luz stand] We found a way to get you guys out. We're going to talk to Principal Bump.
Gus: We have an expert disguise! [grabs a trash can] Hop in! It's got holes for your gangly teenage legs.
Luke: *gets out of the wall* There is no way I'm getting in there.
Willow: Told you he wouldn't.
Gus: Eh worth a shot.
Luz and Luke look at the wall and see Viney about to close the door. Viney looks at a sad Luz and sees Luke just giving her a neutral look. She shuts the door.
Luz: Yeah. That's right where I belong.
Gus: And this way the inspector won't see you either.
Luz climbs into the trash can. Gus puts the lid on Luz's head. She stands and walks off. Willow and Gus were about to follow her but noticed something.
Willow: Hey where's Y/N?
Luke: *sigh* Long story.
Luke starts to walk to catch up to Luz. Willow and Gus look at each other and shrug to catch up to them.
The camera pans to the still-snoring Detention Teacher. Gus pops up next to him and puts the mop on his face. He continues snoring.
Gus: Incredible.
We cut back to Y/N walking around the halls holding baby dragons with a sad look.
Y/N: *sigh* Again I get blame from…. His mistakes. It's just so.
Zack: Irritating.
Y/N: *stops walking* Yea. It's like no matter where I go I'm just.. Just…
He starts to remember everyone calling him a..
Y/N: *Yells* FREAK!
Zack: *sigh* I can't say I feel the same as you. People believe what they hear. But that can change.
Y/N: *looks at Zack* How?
Zack: Start asking yourself the question: Who are you and what do you want?
Zack starts to fade away leaving Y/N by himself with baby dragon. Y/N looked down and saw baby dragon scared as he pets his head to calm him down.
Y/N: Sorry buddy I'm just *sigh* I'm just a little upset.
Before anything else was said baby dragon picked up on a scent and started growling.
Y/N: Huh? What is it bo-
Before Y/N could finish, the baby dragon jumped out of Y/N's hands and started running towards the scent.
Y/N: Hey baby dragon! Wait!
Y/N started running after baby dragon passing by a couple of students and running through the halls. Soon he saw baby dragon growling at a double door. Y/N walks over and picks him up.
Y/N: Hey. What's got into you bo-
Before Y/N could finish he picked up a scent from the otherside of the door.
Y/N: (This scent. It smells so foul, sinister.)
Y/N gulped but decided to still walk inside. As soon as he stepped inside he saw that he was in the same auditorium he and his friends were at when they tried out for Hexside. He looked ahead and saw a potion track student showing off his magic while other students were watching. He looked around and saw Bump in the front row with the inspector. By instinct Y/N hid in the back row.
Y/N: *whispers* If Bump sees us he's going to flip. We need to keep quiet ok?
Baby dragon nods his head as he and Y/N raised their hands and looked at the student performs his potion magic. He takes out a potion and throws it down and disappears. He reappears at the bottom of the stage and disappears again in the crowd. Finally he disappears in front of Bump and the Inspector.
Potion Student: Ta-dah!
Bump: *claps his hands slowly* Very nice wouldn't you say.
Inspector: *unimpressed* Yes it was.
Bump noticed the tone in her voice as he glared at the potion student. The student laughs nervously and drops a potion and disappears from sight.
Inspector: Hopefully your next student is impressive. Bump.
Bump: *smiles nervously* I-I can assure you, I left my best student for last. (Oh Titan. Please Amity make this performance the best!)
Y/N and baby dragon continue to look at the scene.
Y/N: *whisper* Geez she is really strict. No wonder Bump wanted us to-
Before Y/N could finish Baby dragon started to bark loudly making him panic and cover his mouth as they both duked. Both Bump and the Inspector turn their heads to the back of the class.
Inspector: What was that?
Bump: I have no idea.
Inspector: No idea huh? *writes in her board* Bump right now you're on thin ice on receiving the donation from the emperor's covent. For your sake your "star pupil" better be good.
Bump: *sweats nervously* D-Don't worry ma'am she will.
Meanwhile Y/N was trying to calm baby dragon down.
Y/N: [whispers] *struggles* Listen boy! *grunts* We can't just *grunts* Go in *grunts* We'll get in *grunts* trouble!
As Y/N was struggling to keep baby dragon in check he remembers what Viney did. He scratches the back of baby dragon's neck, making the dragon calm down. Y/N let out a sigh.
Y/N: *whispers* Glad that worked.
Y/N then looked back over and saw Amity was walking on stage.
Y/N: Whoa. Amity is next.
Amity looked around the room and saw a sweat Bump who had his hands together as he nodded at her. Amity could tell by his expression that he was telling her don't fail. Amity nods back and lets out a sigh as she looks around. She suddenly saw Y/N and baby dragon in the back. Y/N made eye contact with her and did a two thumbs up and baby dragon just panting happily for her.
Amity: *blushes* (Y/N is watching me.) *shakes her head and slaps her cheeks with both her hands* (No! Focus! This just means you have to put even more into it!)
A moment of silence passes and Amity closes her eyes and breathes in and out. She then opens her eyes and draws a spell circle beside her. As soon as she did that a human size abomination appeared beside her. It lets out a little growl and looks around. Suddenly a potion tracked witch threw a potion bottle at Amity from the top of the stage. The abomination notices this and transforms his hands into blades and jumps up and slash the bottle as the bottle and liquid split on both sides of her and the abomination.
Y/N: Wow she's gotten better.
Then two witches appear on both sides of Amity and draw an ice spell circle. As soon as the finished multiply ice blades were heading towards Amity. Everyone was worried about Amity's life until her abomination grabbed her and threw her into the air. The abomination takes all the shards showing little to know reaction. Amity had her hands in the air as she was floating in the air. She lifted her hands up as she was floating up into the heavens. She opens her left eye as she looks at the crowd from the side. Y/N sees this and couldn't help but blush.
Y/N: *Blushes* W-Whoa.
Zack: *nudges Y/N* Found your girls good agle huh?
Y/N: *mumbles* Shut up.
Amity does a little spin as she starts to fall to the ground. Everyone started to get scared until her abomination turned into a puddle and headed towards her. The abomination reformed below her with all the ice blades off it and held his hands up. Soon Amity lands in the abomination's hand like a figure skater as they pose. The abomination puts Amity down.
Amity: And that concludes the presentation from the Abomination track.
Both Amity and her abomination bow down as everyone claps.
Y/N: WOOHOO! AMITY THAT WAS SO COOL! YOU WERE SO AWESOME!
Everyone turned around to see where the voice came from but saw nobody there. Lucky Y/N had ducked down quickly and had his hands over his mouth.
Y/N: *muffled* Crap! I forgot I had to stay quiet!
Baby Dragon: *bark bark* And you said I had to stay quiet.
Y/N: *muffled* Quiet you.
As everyone was confused Amity was too busy blushing since she knew it was Y/N that said that. She was trying to keep her composure until.
Abomination: *holds its cheeks* Heeee thinnnnks I'm Aweeesssoome.
This made Amity blush bright red as everyone was confused.
Amity: *waves her hands around in panic* AAAHHH! It's nothing, everyone! Forget about it!
Bump: Yes well *clears his throat* That was some real Hexside magic, *looks at the inspector* huh Inspector?
Inspector: Yes, this is... *sinister* good!
Suddenly Y/N picked up the scent again except this time it was followed by a horrible feeling.
Y/N: W-What the hell?
Inspector: But let's see if your student can put up more of a fight! [stands]
Bump: Yes, yes-
Y/N pokes his head back up from his seat.
Y/N&Bump: Wait what?
The inspector slams her hands down on the stage.
Y/N: W-What's going on?
Zack: Oh no. Y/N that's a-
Before Zack the inspector's face starts to deform. Her skin turns pale yellow, her green eyes become frog-like and droopy, her dress is torn and widened, and her entire body is serpentine.
Zack: A basilisk.
Y/N: A basi-what?
Bump: Is, uh, this part of the inspection?
Zack: *facepalms* What do you think, Bump?
Amity: Abomination fight!
Amity's Abomination jumps on the basilisk face blocking its view. The basilisk gets annoyed and fully transforms into a basilisk and flings the abomination into the air and eats it, shocking everyone.
Y/N: Surprised it was able to eat and enjoy that.
Y/N shivers as he remembers doing that with his last fight with Amity. The basilisk slithers towards Amity, who backs away.
Basilisk : The magic at Glandus High was tasty. But I hope yours will be more filling.
Principal Bump: [running between Amity and the inspector] Amity, stay back. She's an impostor!
Principal Bump draws out a spell circle. The basilisk inhales, swallowing the spell circle and draining his magic. Bump's body begins to go pale as he becomes weak and falls on his knees.
Y/N&Amity: Principle Bump!
The basilisk was about to eat Amity but was cut off by something biting it making it yell in pain. It turns and sees baby dragon biting on her.
Basilisk: A salamander. I'm going to enjoy feeding on you.
The Basilisk opens her mouth and starts sucking out the magic out of baby dragon. Soon the baby starts to get weak as he lets his grip go. Before the Basilisk could finish it was shot by a purple fireball. It leaves a burn mark making the Basilisk turn to see who did it. She sees Amity with her hand out with an angry look.
Amity: Put him down now!
Basilisk: *smiles sinsterly* Glady. I was done feeding on him anyway.
The Basilisk hunches its back making the dragon fly into the sky and uses its tail to hit it near the stage.
Amity: *concern* Baby dragon!
Amity was about to run to the dragon but was slammed into the wall by the Basilisk. Amity coughed up a little blood as the Basilisk held her on a wall.
Basilisk: Rule of the wild dear: worry about yourself instead of others. I learned that the hard way. Now then.
The Basilisk opens her mouth and starts to suck out Amity's magic. Slowly Amity was losing her strength. She was scared thinking this was it she was going to die here. That was until.
Y/N: PUT HER DOWN RIGHT NOW!
The Basilisk soon received an axe kick to the head making the stage crack as part of it was destroyed. It lost its grip on Amity. Amity slowly started to fall towards the ground but was caught by Y/N and held her by the shoulders.
Y/N: Hey Amity. Please stay with me.
Amity: *weakly* Y-Y/N.
Y/N: *hugs her* Yea it's me I got you.
Even though she was weak she still smiled knowing Y/N had saved her.
Amity: W-Wait w-where's-
Y/N: *turns his head to his side* He's right there.
Amity turned to where Y/N was looking and saw baby dragon beside her. He looked pale and his tail fire was low lit. She was happy he was alive but sad that he was in this state.
Amity: *looks at Y/N* I-I'm-
Y/N: *pats her head* Shhh. It's not your fault.
Basilisk: *offscreen* UGH! Who dares inferior with my meal!?
Slowly the Basilisk starts to sit up from the attack it received from Y/N. The Basilisk shakes her head and looks down at Y/N.
Basilisk: You! You dare-
The Basilisk was cut off by receiving a punch in the gut causing it to spit out a little blood; she couldn't keep up with Y/N's speed. She saw little traces of lighting that came out of Y/N's body before he hit her. Soon she fell down in the middle of the crowd.
Y/N: *looks around and yells* IF YOU ALL DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOUR MAGIC THEN LIVE!
The crowd begins to run out the auditorium. Y/N smiled for a bit but then frown when he saw the Basilisk getting back up as it grabbed it's stomach in pain.
Basilisk: *groans* This strength.
Y/N: Let's end this. *breaths in* Fire Dragon:
Basilisk: *eyes widen* Fire Dragon!?
Y/N *breaths out* ROAR!
Y/N let out a giant fireball at the Basilisk as it explodes on impact. The result of the fire destroyed the chairs and created a bunch of dust when it hit its target. Y/N let out a sigh as white smoke and a little fire exited his mouth. He walked away to where Amity and Baby dragon were. He put baby dragon on his head and carried Amity in his arms.
Y/N: Let's get you two to the medic.
Basilisk: *offscreen* That magic.
Y/N eyes widened as he turned around and saw the Basilisk was slowly exiting out of the smoke. He noticed that not only his fire did no damage but its wounds were healed as well.
Y/N: *backs up* But how?
Basilisk: Dragon slayer magic. *sniffs the air* And this scent *slithers around Y/N* It reminds me of…. Him.
Y/N cautiously watches the Basilisk every move. He wanted to fight it but the problem is he couldn't risk fighting it with both baby dragon and Amity on him.
Y/N: (I just need to find an opening to run.) Who is him?
Basilisk: *gets it Y/N's face* Igneel Dragneel.
Y/N: *sweats nervously* I see *backs up a bit* You two huh?
Basilisk: So you must be his son *slithers around Y/N* I wonder what he would say if I found him and planted your dead body by his feet.
Y/N just stares at the Basilisk as he continues to sweat. He was still waiting for an opening.
Y/N: (I could try using my lighting to give me the speed advantage to escape.) *takes a quick glance at Amity* (But I don't know if it will affect Amity.)
Y/N was trying to figure out what to do, meanwhile the Basilisk was slithering around Y/N and was about to strike until she saw the sword on Y/N's back.
Basilisk: That sword.
Y/N looked at the creature.
Basilisk: Where- *becomes angry* Why do you have *sharps claws* THAT SWORD!
The Basilisk lunches its claws at Y/N.
Y/N: *eyes widen* (IT'S DO OR DIE!)
Lighting started to surround Y/N's body. He then jumps past the Basilisk avoiding its attack. The Basilisk hits the ground as a cloud of smoke surrounds it. Y/N then landed down on the ground safely. He takes a sigh of relief.
Y/N: Phew. That was close. *looks up at baby dragon* You ok little buddy?
Baby dragon let out a weak chirp.
Y/N: Don't worry buddy. We'll get you some help. *looks down at Amity* How are you feeling Ami-
Y/N stops as his eyes widen when he sees that Amity's right cheek was cut and a little bit of blood was dripping down. She was shivering a bit. This made Y/N eyes go red as he gritted his teeth in anger.
Y/N: *turns around* HOW DARE YOU HURT HER!
Basilisk: HOW DARE I!? HOW DARE YOU!?
The Basilisk slithers out of the smoke with her hands up growling at Y/N.
Basilisk: WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH ZACK'S SWORD!?
This shocked not only Y/N but Zack as well.
Zack: I-It can't be.
Y/N: You know Zack!?
Basilisk: I WILL SWALLOW YOU WHOLE SLAYER! YOUR DEAD!
The Basilisk lounges at Y/N. Y/N eyes widen as he jumps out of the way. The Basilisk crashed on the ground, as Y/N ran towards the exit. The Basilisk sees Y/N running and lunges at him. Y/N pushes the door open and slides as he runs from the Basilisk chasing right behind him. Meanwhile Bump who was still laying down on the ground.
Bump: *groans* Only 300 years until retirement Bump.
Back with Luz and the others. They were walking to go talk with Principal Bump. Luz let out a sigh.
Willow: Aww cheer up Luz. Once we talk to Bump, we'll get everything sorted out.
Luz: It's not that.
Luke: It's about Y/N isn't it?
Luz: Yea.
Both Gus and Willow were confused.
Gus: Wait what about Y/N?
Luz: People keep blaming him for what his father did. I don't get it. Was Igneel really that bad of a person?
Both Willow and Gus looked at each other.
Willow: Well he wasn't that bad.
Luke: Hard to believe.
Gus: It's more like his motives were questionable.
Luke: Meaning?
Willow: There were times he would care about others, but also times when he would care about himself. Not caring about who he hurt or what the outcome would be. Some people liked him but others-
Luz: Hated him. Yes I get that but why do they have to hate him!? *looks down* His father might have done bad stuff in the past but Y/N…
She starts to remember when they first met, when they came to the Isle together, all the adventures they experienced, and finally seeing him smiling brightly at her.
Luz: *tears up* Is a good person.
Willow walks up to Luz and pats her shoulder as Gus pats her other one. Luke just looks at the scene and sighs.
Luke: (A son suffering the sins of his father. Where have I heard that-
Luke stopped dead in his tracks as he felt something sinister coming towards him. The others saw Luz stop and walked up to him.
Luz: Luke?
Willow: What's wrong?
Luke: S-Something's coming.
Gus: What? Oh you mean *points ahead of them* that thing that's chasing Y/N.
Everyone but Gus: What!?
Everyone turned and saw the Basilisk chasing Y/N as he was holding Amity and Baby dragon was trying to hang on to Y/N's head for dear life.
Y/N: *sees his friends* GUYS A LITTLE HELP!
Basilisk: GET BACK HERE!
Luke shakes his head and runs up. He holds his right hand up and fire a light beam towards Y/N and the Basilisk. Y/N sees this and ducks and slide under the light just in time as the Basilisk was hit by it.
Y/N: *pants* Phew. Thanks guys.
Luke: No problem. No then. *yells* WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?
Luz: And what happened to Amity and baby dragon!?
Y/N: Well-
Before Y/N could say anything he heard the Basilisk coming out of the smoke. It had a little bit of cuts and bruises from the blast.
Luke: Seriously!? That's all it did!?
Basilisk: *Slithers in the air* [laughs] More cute morsels!
Luke: *irritated* What was that!?
Willow: *puts her hand on Luke* We got this!
Gus: *Pumps his hands up* Yea! Hexside students Rule!
Willow: *walks up to the Basilisk* We may be cute, but we're nobody's morsels!
Willow draws a plant circle and slams in the ground. The ground stops to the ground as a giant plant monster with 4 eyes comes out.
Gus: *draws a circle and dances around the plants* Time for a power-up!
The plant grows giant muscle arms.
Luke: *Sweat Drops* What the-
Y/N: Whoa! *relizes something* Guys wait it can-
But it was too late as the giant plant goes to punch the Basilisk in the face, however the Basilisk ends up biting and eating the plant creature.
Y/N: Eat your magic.
Luke: *Glares at Y/N* You just now tell us.
Y/N just chuckles nervously. They turned and saw Gus and Willow falling on the ground.
Willow: *weak* I… Feel so… weak.
The Basilisk starts to make its way towards the others.
Y/N: Alright I've had enough!
Y/N puts Amity on the ground and puts baby dragon on top of her and rushes at the Basilisk.
Luz: Y/N!
Luke: That idiot!
Y/N summons fire in both his hands and charges towards the beast. The Basilisk swung his tail at Y/N, but Y/N was able to dodge it just in time. He then rolls and leaps in the air to punch the creature in the face. However the Basilisk was able to catch his hand just in time. Y/N grunt but ads more magic to try to burn the Basilisk hands off. The Basilisk screeches in pain but then starts to chuckle.
Basilisk: You know the more you struggle *pulls Y/N towards his face* The taster you are.
The Basilisk starts to inhale and starts to absorb Y/N's magic. Y/N starts to feel his strength weakening, he tries to get away but due to his lost grip and the Basilisk eating his magic he couldn't. He slowly felt his magic draining, he thought all of it was about to vanish until the Basilisk got kicked in the gut by Luke. The Basilisk ended up dropping Y/N as he fell down on the ground. He landed on his feet but fell on one knee due to him losing his magic.
Y/N: *pants* Thanks.
Luke: *side eyes Y/N* Think before you act. *looks forward* This thing can absorb our magic so don't go in recklessly.
Y/N: R-Right.
Basilisk: Hmmm more prey.
Both Y/N and Luke got into fight positions. Y/N summons fire in both his hands and Luke summons his dark claws. They both start to rush the beast. Y/N ran on the lockeres and Luke hid into his shadow. Y/N ran up to the Basilisk and went for a punch in the face.
Basilisk: *chuckles* Don't you know any different tricks?
The Basilisk tries to catch it only to receive an upper cut from Luke.
Basilisk: *grunts* WHAT!?
Before it could recover Y/N punches it dead in the face making it crash into the lockers.
Y/N: *land on the ground* How was that!?
The Basilisk spits out blood and growls at the two. It swings it's tail at the two boys as they seperated and dodges all the tail attacks that came at them.
Luke: *dodging* (focus on your opponent's movements )
The Basilisk gets annoyed and starts to grab and ripped a locker of the wall and threw it at Y/N. Y/N ducks under it and sits up to be meet with the Basilisk about to claw Y/N. Before it could Luke jumps and kicks the Basilisk in the back of the head. Y/N ignites fire on his left foot and kicks the Basilisk in the air as it crashes on the ground.
Y/N: Give it up you can't win?
Luke: *lands beside Y/N* I'd listen if I were you.
The Basilisk glares at the two but looks behind her to see Luz and the others.
Basilisk: I need more *dash towards Luz* MAGIC!
Y/N&Luke: GUYS!
Both Y/N and Luke dashes towards the Basilisk. The Basilisk was about to bite Luz but was double kicked on the head by Luke and Y/N. At first the Basilisk was stunned until it used its tail to grab Y/N and Luke.
Y/N: Hey!
Luke: What the-
The Basilisk raises Luke and Y/N in the air as it gets up from the floor and brings them to her face. She had blood dripping from her head down her face as she smiled sincerely at them.
Basilisk: Like I told the little witch girl. Look out only for yourself.
The Basilisk starts to inhale Y/N and Luke's magic. They both try to escape but was started to feel weak. Luke notices something from the Basilisk, its wounds were beginning to heal and its grip on them was tightening.
Luke: (So it can heal and get stronger from the magic it absorbs! We need to hurry and get out!)
Luz: Hey!
The Basilisk stops and turns towards Luz who had a notebook in her hand.
Luz: Put them down! *throws the notebook* NOW!
The Basilisk just smiles and eats the notebook. However Luz had wrote a light glyph on it causing it to go off in its mouth. This made the Basilisk cough up all the paper in her mouth and loses its grip on Y/N and Luke.
Basilisk: *in pain* It burns! It burns!
Both Y/N and Luke slowly get up.
Luz: Guys! Let's go!
Y/N: Still can move.
Luke: More or less.
They both ran to the others. Y/N put baby dragon on his head and carried Amity, Luke picked up Willow bride style and Luz put Gus over her shoulder.
Y/N: We need to find a safe spot.
Luz: I know a place.
The three friends carry the others to a safe place. Meanwhile back at the detention track. Viney was sitting down looking at the door with an angry expression. She keeps playing what Luke said in her head over and over. She shakes her head trying to push those thoughts away.
Viney: (Like I could ever forgive what he did!)
FlashBack
A little Viney was watching as a whole forest with animals and plants surrounded in fire. The young Viney looks at the scene in horror. She then hears footsteps and looks to see a man wearing a brown coat around his body walking through the fire. He stops a few feet away from Viney and looks up at her with red eyes: This was Igneel. Viney's whole body shakes in fear.
Viney: W-Why?
Igneel: Why? They annoyed me, that's why.
Viney: W-Who?
Igneel: *gestures to the burning animales* These weak creatures.
Viney couldn't believe what he said. The reason he set the whole forest with its animales inside was because they annoyed him.
Viney: H-How *angry* How could you-
Viney stopped talking when he saw Igneel glared at her. She felt like she had died. Igneel then started walking but Viney couldn't even move, she was too scared to. Igneel walked past her and said one thing.
Igneel: I already told you. I won't repeat myself. *looks down at her* If you want revenge then come and find me.
Igneel then walks away from him as Viney just stands there looking at the burning forest.
Flashback End
Viney starts to tear up remembering that. She then heard Jerbo and Barcus walking up to her.
Jerbo: H-Hey Viney. You ok?
Viney: *wipes the tears away* I-I'm fine just. *puts her head on her knees* thinking.
Both Jerbo and Barcus looked at each other then back to Viney.
Jerbo: Vin listen we-
Before they could say anything else they heard one of the doors burst open to reveal Luz and the others caring Gus, Willow, Amity, and baby dragon.
Luz: Guys we need help!
Viney: *gets up and sighs angrily* Oh you three again. *sees Y/N* What are you doing here?
Luke: Yea yea. Get mad later we need help!
Viney was about to say something but then saw Gus and everyone else weakened.
Viney: *walks up to them* What happened to them!?
The others put everyone down as Luz walked up to the door.
Luz: Something horrible is loose in the school.
Luz opens one of the doors and shows that Basilisk was eating more students and staff magic. The three detention students gasp and Viney quickly closes the door.
Viney: Don't let it see us! [closes the door] I think that's a greater basilisk. I heard about them in a class. My cousin at St. Epiderm said she saw one, but those things should be extinct.
Zack: *appears* Not all of them are.
Y/N: (You said you knew it right.)
Zack was quiet for a bit until he sighed.
Zack: A while back people said there was a group of Basilisk running around. They need people to help bring them back to the emperor. They assigned me and Igneel to go after some of them.
Zack went quiet for a bit that concerned Y/N.
Y/N: Zack.
Zack: I could never forget the way the emperor's covent was taking them. It was cruel. They forcefully restraining them, shocking them, shooting them, you name it. As I was walking past all of it I saw a smaller one. It was scared when it saw me so I decided to help it, to get it as far away from the emperor as possible. I raised it from the outskirts of town. *looks up in the sky* I just never got the chance to tell it goodbye.
Y/N: Zack.
Viney: Hey!
Y/N looked at Viney to see her with an angry expression.
Viney: If you're done talking to yourself, we would appreciate it if you leave!
Jerbo: V-Viney.
Y/N just looks down until Luz gets in between them.
Luz: Hey aren't you three going to help!?
Viney: Why should we!?
Jerbo: I-If Bump catches us mixing magic again
Viney: He'll expel us. *looks at Y/N* Besides, I'm pretty sure it's your fault it's here!
Y/N: How is it my fault!?
Viney: Your magic brought it here! Maybe you should clean up your own mess! Or maybe you only care about yourself and want others to get hurt!
Luz was about to yell out something until she felt the air around her get hotter. She turned around and saw Y/N with fire slowly growing around him.
Luke: Oh boy.
Y/N: *eyes bright red* I DO CARE WHAT HAPPENS TO PEOPLE!
This made Viney and everyone flinch from Y/N's outburst.
Y/N: I don't care if you blame me for Ignee's mistakes! But I'm going to tell you this: I care about those around me! If I see my friends get hurt I'm going to do something to protect them!
Y/N starts to walk to a nearby door but feels a weak hand stop him. He looked down and saw it was Amity.
Amity: W-Wait… Please don't… You'll get hurt.
Y/N looked down at Amity with his red eyes and then smiled at her. He kneeled down and cupped her cheek with his right hand.
Y/N: I'll be fine Amity I promise.
Amity: *looks at him weakly* Y-Y/N.
Luke: *walks up to them* I'll be there to help him out.
Y/N: *Gets up* You don't-
Luke: *holds up his hand* Eh. We both know we are running on low strength. So I'm helping, got it?
Y/N:... *nods his head and smiles* Yea.
Y/N opens the door and jumps out Luke was about to jump but turns and looks at the others he just smirks and walks off as the door closes behind him. Everyone watches what happened and Luz gets in front of them.
Luz: See! Y/N isn't the same as his father! He's different and he cares about people around him!
Viney just looked down until she felt Jerbo put his hand on her shoulder.
Jerbo: Vin we know you don't like Igneel about what happened, but me and Barcus can tell he, Y/N, really is a good person.
Barcus: *bark bark*
Viney just looks at her friends and then back at Luz.
Luz: Hexoleos are out there getting' hurt, and we're the only ones who can save them. We're troublemakers, right? So let's go out there and make some trouble.
The three troublemakers look at each other and nod their heads.
Viney: Ok let's do this.
Back with the basilisk
The basilisk is currently draining another student from her magic and drops her on the ground.
Basilisk: Hungry! Still so hungry! *yells* DRAGNEEL COME AND SHOW YOURSELF! ARE YOU JUST GOING TO CONTINUE TO USE THIS WITCHES AS A SHIELD TO HIDE!? YOUR JUST LIKE YOUR THE REST OF YOUR KIND!
Y/N: *offscreen* THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN MY KIND IN THE PAST!
The Basilisk becomes shocked and turns towards the sound of where Y/N's voice is coming from and sees his whole body covered in fire flying at it with full speed. The Basilisk couldn't react in time as Y/N crashed into its stomach making the Basilisk cough up blood.
The Basilisk gets sent to the otherside of the hall and crashes into the wall.
Y/N: BUT THAT'S NOT ME IN THE PRESENT!
Luke: [walks up beside him] *sighs* What happened to the plan?
Y/N: *sits up* Sorry that *slams his right fist in his left hand* But that thing really pissed me off!
Luke: I see.
Basilisk: *slowly get up* So you've finally come out to die.
Luke: The one who's going to die…
Luke draws a spell circle in his shadow and takes out his sword and holds it out.
Luke: Is you.
Basilisk: *chuckles* Come and try.
With great speed the Basilisk lunches at Luke and Y/N as they were able to dodge just in time. Luke looks at the Basilisk and remembers him and Y/N's so called plan
Both Luke and Y/N are hiding in a nearby classroom watching the Basilisk outside.
Luke: Ok look we're low on magic and we can't use any long range blast attacks. The only thing we can do now is stale and figure out a way to deal a lealth blow.
Y/N: *nods his head* Got it.
Luke looks back out and watches the Basilisk move while Y/N turns his head and sees Zack with a sad look.
Y/N: (What's wrong?)
Zack: *sigh* I…. I just want to talk to her.
Y/N looks at Zack then back at his necklace.
Y/N: Maybe you can.
Zack: Huh? How?
Y/N: I might have an idea.
Luke: Uhhh and that is?
Y/N: Huh? *looks at Luke* Oh sorry. *scratches the back of his head* Was talking out loud.
Luke: *confused* Uh-huh.
Basilisk: [offscreen] *yells* DRAGNEEL COME AND SHOW YOURSELF! ARE YOU JUST GOING TO CONTINUE TO USE THIS WITCHES AS A SHIELD TO HIDE!? YOUR JUST LIKE YOUR THE REST OF YOUR KIND!
Luke: (Oh please don't fall for-
Luke was cut off from his thoughts when he sees Y/N with fire surrounding him making Luke back up.
Luke: (Of course.)
Luke: (Wish that idiot stuck with the plan.)
The Basilisk slithers back and tries to claw Y/N but Y/N takes out his sword and blocks the attack holding it in place.
Basilisk: You would dare use his sword!?
Y/N: Look just *struggles* Listen for a second!
Basilisk: SILENCE!
The Basilisk swings its tail at Y/N causing him to crash into the lockers. It then wraps his tail around him squeezing at him.
Basilisk: I don't want to hear any of your lies! YOUR DEATH IS NOW!
The Basilisk starts to absorb Y/N magic, but before it could drain him Luke stabs the Basilisk in the back causing the creature to yell in pain. It loses its grip on Y/N making him fall and land on his feet.
Luke: Don't *stabs* Forget! *stabs* About! *stabs* Me!
Luke continues to stab the Basilisk over and over again. This enrages the creature as it slames it's back on the wall crushing Luke. It slams it;s back again and again as Luke lays on the wall and falls on the ground coughing up blood.
Y/N: Luke!
Basilisk: You should have stayed out of this child! Now you are-
Before the Basilisk could continue it felt like it couldn't move.
Basilisk: W-WHAT!?
Luke: Maybe you should spend least time talking *pants*
Luke looks up, making the Basilisk look up as well.
Luke: Y/N!
Y/N summoned lighting in his right and blasted it at the Basilisk, sending it flying away from Luke. Luke removes his shadow spell and pants heavily.
Y/N: *walks up to Luke* Y-You *pants* ok?
Luke: *pants* More or *pants* Less.
They then hear the Basilisk get back up covered in cuts and bruises.
Basilisk: Seems like that was your last chance to kill me. Now let the feast begain-
The Basilisk was cut off when a random ice glyph was in front of her. Even Luke and Y/N were confused.
Luke: Uhhhh…
Basilisk: *looks down at it* What is tha-
Before she could finish a giant ice cube came up and hit her dead in the face. This sent her up and the air as she came crashing down on the ground. Both Y/N and Luke were surprised until they heard a voice.
Luz: Seems like you two…
They turned around and saw Luz with the same cowl she had back when they did the initiation.
Luz: A hero.
Y/N: *smiles* Hehe yea.
Luke: Took you long enough.
They then hear the Basilisk slivering from behind the ice glyph. She gets beside it and holds her head.
Basilisk: Ugh! Who dares interfere!?
Luz: *smiles and walks up to the Basilisk* From humblest of beginnings, a hero will rise. I've trained with a secret society to discover the power of mixing magic! *holds up an ice glyph* I am-
Basilisk: DINNER!
The Basilisk launches at Luz making her yelp. She then was picked up bride style but Y/N as he and Luke avoid the attack. Luz had ended up dropping one of her ice glyphs as it fell and activated an ice piller. The three start to run down a nearby hallway.
Luke: This is why I tell people to stop monologuing!
Luz: Hey! I wanted a cool moment, ok!
Y/N: Not the time guys!
They group looks behind them and sees the Basilisk chasing after them.
Luke: We need a plan!
Luz: Don't worry we have one! Viney! Do the thing, do the thing!
As both Y/N and Luke were confused at first they then see a griifin creature coming out of nowhere and attack it sending them both flying to the otherside of the halls. The three stop running and look back at it.
Luke: Uhhh what is that?
Viney: *runs past Luke* That's puddles! Attagirl, Puddles! *draws a spell circle* Jerbo, now!
Jerbo: On it!
An abomination opens a door in the floor as Jerbo summons several thorny vines. The vines latch onto a door handle in the ceiling. Luke then sees the Basilisk about to break free from puddles hold, as he runs over and turns his arm into a demon arm and blocks the attack. The group becomes stunned by Lukes heroism.
Luke: (This will exhaust me but still.)
Luke then draws a circle and slams his foot on the ground as shadow arms hold the Basilisk in place. He then signals puddles to back up. The creature nods its head and backs up. Viney finishes the circle as a door shape appears below the Basilisk. The creature gets stuck at first and tries to get out but starts to fall down the whole.
Luke: Y/N.
Y/N: On it!
Y/N puts Luz down and runs towards the door shaped hole and jumps down it. The Basilisk falls down the other door the abomination opens and gets stuck until Y/N summons fire around his leg and kicks the creature down making them fall more. We are brought to the auditorium, where Principal Bump sits up in the stands.
Principal Bump: Must find help.
Just then he sees Basilisk falling down crashing onto the already destroyed stage. Y/N then jumps off it and looks at the beaten down creature. The Basilisk slowly tries to get as the others come down and are about to finish it off.
Luz: Alright guys let's-
Y/N: *holds up his hand* Wait.
Everyone stops and looks at Y/N as he walks up to it.
Luz: Y/N. What are you doing!?
Jerbo: Yea man it could kill you!
Barcus: *bark bark*
Y/N continued to walk up to the Basilisk and looked as it slowly was getting up.
Basilisk: S-Slayer. You are dead!
Y/N looked down for a second and then looked back up at the Basilisk. He then pulls out his chain and touches the Basilisk with it.
Basilisk: Don't you dare touch-
Zack: Hey.
The Basilisk 's eyes widened as it looked and saw Zack. It also noticed that they were no longer at the school but in a peaceful land with grass blowing into the wind and a river flowing down the stream.
Zack: You've grown so much.
Basilisk: Z-Zack. *tears up* But how?
Zack: *Chuckles* Magic is a strange thing.
There was a moment of silence as the Basilisk tears started to fall down.
Zack: Look I might not know what happened when I was gone but please for me… Stop this.
Basilisk: *looks down*... I see now.
Zack: Huh?
Basilisk: *wipes the tears away* Hehe. I was almost fooled by all of this. Nice try Dragneel. But showing me all this won't help.
Zack: No that's not-
Basilisk: ENOUGH! I'VE HAD IT WITH YOUR LIES!
Everything goes dark as we return to the stage as Y/N removes his keychain from the Basilisk as it looks down at Y/N about to strike.
Basilisk: DIE SLAYER!
Everyone: Y/N!
Y/N just looks at the beast with no fear as it's close was about to hit him, but it's claw stops right in front of him. The Basilisk was confused until it realized what was happening. Everyone turns to Luke to see him with his right hand out. His right arm was covered in darkness as it ran up to his left side of his face. His left eye turned red with a black sillte. A black circle appears overhead the Basilisk.
Luke: You're the one who's going to die.
Just then a giant dark blast hits the Basilisk making it scream in pain. Everyone but Luke shields their eyes as an explosion is created. As the dust starts to settle everyone starts to uncover their eyes and sees the Basilisk stand there cocked to a crisp. It slowly starts to fall down and crash onto the ground. Everyone turns to Luke and sees him panting his right eye and arm slowly returns back. Y/N walked over to the others and looked at Luke.
Luke: It's better if I did it instead of you. Can't have you having an even worse time here?
Y/N couldn't help but smile as he hugged Luke as Luz joined the hug as well. Luke was too tired to push them off as he just let it happen. The detention students walk up to the three friends.
Luke: Guys you guys had a right reason to be scared.
The three look at each other and spoke.
Jerbo: W-Well we won't lie the way you killed it was kinda scary.
Viney: But we shouldn't be too quick to judge. Since we already know that feeling *looks at Y/N* Like others.
Barcus: *bark bark*
Jerbo: Yea three are still cool in our books. *looks at Viney* Right?
Viney looks at Y/N and smiles.
Viney: Yea.
This made Y/N smile at a smiling Viney. Everyone smiled as Luke started to stand up and held his injured arm. He then felt something rubbing on him and saw it was puddles.
Luke: Uhh can I help you?
Viney: *giggles and walks over to them* Puddles is thanking you for helping her. *looks at Luke's injured arm* Here let me.
Viney grabs Luke's arm and draws a circle around it. The wound on his arms starts to heal up and vanish, shocking Luke.
Luke: Huh. *rolls his arm back* Your healing magic is amazing.
Viney: *smiles* Thanks *smirks* Maybe I could be your personal nurse?
Luke: (Oh great another one.) Thanks but I'll pass.
Viney just giggles as the group walked over to them to celebrate they were cut off by an angry Bump.
Bump: You all are in so much trouble!
Luke: (Aaah right.)
Bump: Leaving your homeroom, mixing magic and- is that a secret hideout?
Luz: Yeah it is. But let's think about this, Principal Bump. Why would kids in the detention track need a secret hideout?
Bump: I don't care to know the ins and outs of rascality. [pulls out rule book] But if the Emperor's Coven can send an actual inspector this time-
Y/N: Principle Bump we get you need covent money but if you have to hurt your students to get it, what's the point?
Luz: They saved Hexside. They should be allowed to study what they wish.
Bump: B-But.
Luke: With all do respect sir, you have seen first hand what happens when one bends the rules. You can see their talance far more than them playing book by book. Also I'm pretty sure by doing this you would get least headaches.
Gus: Do the right thing, ya dingus.
Luke: (A little too much there Gus.)
Bump: *sighs* Alright, I'm smart enough to know when I've made a mistake. Which tracks would you like to be in?
Viney: Healing and Beast Keeping!
Jerbo: Plants and Abomination!
Barcus: [barks]
Principal Bump: Then so be it. [changes their uniforms to reflect their new tracks] But if any of you cause more property damage, I'm feeding you to the choosy hat. [to Luz, Luke, and Y/N] And you three?
The three friends look at each other for a bit and then back at Bump.
Y/N: Well principle Bump.
Luke: You see we
Luz: Really want to study all of them. If that is possible.
Suddenly the three friends get a full magical-girl transformation sequence as their uniform takes several colors to reflect the different tracks.
Luke: *dazed* What just happened? *looks down* And why do we look like someone just through paint all over us?
Luz: This is so cool. Yeah, yeah, We're gonna study everything!
Bump: You know, only one other student wanted to study every track. [summons Lord Calamity's picture] Unfortunately, she was never given the opportunity.
With a wipe of his hand, the graffiti on the picture disappears, revealing a young Eda
Luz: [gasps, chuckles] I should've guessed.
Y/N: Agreed. *realized something* Wait what about-
Bump: *smiles* Ahh yes and the one who helped her with it.
Bump brings down the other graffiti picture to reveal a young Zack Strife that had a thumbs up in his picture.
Zack: Got my good side.
Bump: Now then off you all go. *walks away* I have a lot of paperwork to do.
The group looks at each other and smiles but then Y/N remembers something.
Y/N: Oh crap. I'll be right back.
Y/N then runs up and jumps up to the door that leads to the secret room of shortcuts. He then turns and sees Amity and baby dragon slowly waking up. Y/N walks in front of them, kneels down and smiles at them.
Y/N: Hey you two ok?
Baby dragon slowly opens his eyes and starts to smile and pant.
Baby dragon: *bark bark* I'm better now.
Y/N smiles back at the baby dragon and looks down at Amity to see her slowly opening her eyes. She looks up and sees Y/N smiling at her which causes her to smile at him.
Y/N: You ok?
Amity: *smiles* Yea. What about you?
Y/N: A little sore but I'm ok.
Amity: Geez why do you have to keep putting yourself in dangerous situations?
Y/N: *chuckles* I really don't know.
Amity: *giggles* Try to be more careful *puts her hand on his cheek* Ok?
This made Y/N blush
Y/N: *blushes* R-Right.
Amity just realized what she was doing and immediately stood up.
Amity: *blushes* S-S-S-Sorry I didn't mean to.
Y/N: *stands up blushing* I-It's fine.
Meanwhile a couple of students were watching them. The detention group was giggling, Luz was narrowing her eyes at the scene, and Luke just smirked while watching Luz glaring.
The scene cuts to the sunset as all the students start to head home. Y/N, Luz and Luke walking outside.
Luz: What a great first day! Right guys!?
Y/N: Heck yea!
Luke: Got in trouble with the principle, put into the detention track, and almost eaten by a giant magic eating monster. A good 7/10 if you ask me.
Both Y/N and Luke couldn't help but chuckle and giggle from Lukes reaction as Luke just grumbles. The group starts heading back to the owl house. Unknown to them a crow was watching them and started to fly away. The crow flies off to a rocky location filled with sharp rocks and a long drop reven. It then sees a cave and flies to it. It lands down and caws. But as soon as it did it was hit from what seemed to be an iron pole. The iron pole slowly starts to return to its user until he reveals to be the user's own hand.

The scene slowly reveals a tall and muscular young man with long, spiky black hair, which is usually kept slicked back, revealing his forehead. He has red eyes with slitted dark pupils, and has no visible eyebrows. Most of his exposed body is covered in sets of simple, round studs. The most visible studs are on his face, with three of them above each of his eyes, two on each side of his nose, and two on his chin, just below his mouth. His ears are adorned by two sets of five earrings each.

The young man takes a bit of some iron as he chews it and swallows it. He then stands up and walks to the cave's entrance and stares off into the distances. He was wearing a shabby, black, sleeveless tunic with studded edges, a studded belt around his waist, loose, beige pants tucked inside studded black boots, and a pair of studded brown gloves paired with similarly studded wristbands. He also sports a distinctive wing-like ornament, seemingly made of feathers, jutting upwards, over his right shoulder, attached to his tunic by a large stud.
