Another bright sunrise slowly starts to rise on the owl house, we slowly cut inside with the three friends currently sleeping. That was until…

Hooty: HOOT HOOT! TIME TO WAKE UP FOR SCHOOL KIDS!

All three friends started groaning. Luke gets up and heads to the window.

Luke: *yells* HOOTY! I SWEAR ON TITAN I WILL MURDER-

Hooty: *appears in front of Luke's face* Awww seems like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

Luke had the look of pure rage and was about to strangle Hooty, that was until Y/N grabbed and pulled Luke.

Luke: Let me at him! I swear I will rip off his eyes and shoved down his throat!

Y/N: *struggling* Luke! *grunts* Calm! *grunts* Down!

Just then they heard the door open and saw Luz still in her sleepwear still tired.

Luz: *yawns* Good morning guys. *rubs her eyes* How's it goin-

Luz sees Y/N holding back Luke from trying to strangle Hooty with baby dragon watching. Y/N notices Luz.

Y/N: Luz! *grunts* A little *grunts* Help Please!

Luz: I'll just leave you guys alone then. *looks at baby dragon* Come on boy.

Baby dragon barks and runs to Luz as she and him leave Y/N and Luke

Y/N: Oh come on!

The scene cuts to the group walking on their path to Hexside. Luke slowly started to calm down a bit as Y/N and Luke were walking beside him.

Luke: One day I'm going to kill him.

Y/N: *chuckles nervously* E-Easy there Luke.

Luz couldn't help but giggle from their reactions. They eventually made it to hexside and were about to enter the gates until they heard a couple of familiar voices.

Gus&Willow: HEY GUYS!

They turned and saw Gus and Willow walking up to them with smiles.

Luz: Gus! Willow!

Y/N: Hey guys!

Gus and Willow stopped in front of them.

Gus: How's it going?

Y/N: It's going pretty good.

Luke: Yea until a certain bird creature ruined my sleep.

Gus and Willow were confused.

Luz: Hooty woke all of us up and made Luke irritated.

Both Gus and Willow let out a "ooooh" sound as they nodded their heads.

Willow: I see *walks up to Luke* Not much of a morning person huh?

Luke: More like I hate people who wake me up from my sleep.

The group minus Luke chuckled/giggled and started to walk towards the entrance of Hexside.

Gus: You guys ready for another amazing day of school.

Y/N: Yep! Like always!

Luz: I'm excited for beast keeping. The teacher said he's going to show us the bones of a prexticked teacher.

Luke: I really really hope he meant animale.

As the group were talking Y/N picked up a weird scent and Luke felt a strong magic power making them both stop walking. The group looked back and looked at Y/N and Luke.

Luz: Guys what's wrong?

Y/N: Something smells off.

Gus: Uhh smells?

Willow: That's probably the lunch you smell.

Luke: Normally I would agree but I feel a strong magic… and it's coming fro-

Before Luke could answer a giant crash was heard making anyone who was walking around stop and scream from the giant wind and dirt that was picked up. The group covered their eyes and tried to look but couldn't due to all the dirt and derby. Eventually the wind stopped and the group unshielded their eyes and looked ahead.

?: Well well well. What do we have here?

At first they couldn't see who it was at first but as soon as the smoke cleared it revealed a young man, with long black hair.

Luz: Uhh who is that?

Luz turned and saw both Willow and Gus had a look of pure fear on them.

Gus: *scared* I-I-I-I-It's B-B-B-Black steel Gajeel!

Luke: Uhhhh Who?

Willow: B-Black steel Gajeel. H-He was kicked out from Gladous high from nearly killing one of the students.

Luke: Uhh ok then? That explains that.

Gus: H-H-He's also just like Y/N! A dragon Slayer!

This caused the three friends to be shocked.

Luz: Wait what? *looks at Y/N* You mean he's

Y/N: H-He's like me.

Gajeel: *walks up to them* Well you must be the famous salamander that I heard so much about.

Y/N: Y-Yea *Shocked* So you're one too?

Gajeel: Heheh. You're damn right.

As the two stared down suddenly they heard familiar voices.

Edric: What was that!?

Emira: I don't know! Maybe a meteor!

Amity: Really let's try to be more realis-

Before Amity could finish her eyes made contact with Gajeel.

Amity: Oh no.

Edric: What's he doing here!?

Emira: *glares* Why is he here!?

Gajeel: *turns around* Well if it isn't my favorite family. *walks up a bit* The little Blights came to greet me. I'm honored.

The three Blight just glared at Gajeel as he just smiled at them.

Luz: How do they know him?

Willow: A while back Gajeel challenged one of the top students to a fight.

Gus: I.E Amity.

Willow: Amity ended up losing and so her sibling tried to fight him.

Luke: But they ended up losing huh?

Willow just nods her head as Gajeel continues to stare at the Blight family.

Gajeel: Heh. Lucky for you three *turns his back to them* I'm not interested in fighting any of you.

This made everyone raise their eyebrows at Gajeel.

Emira: Then what are you here for?

Edric: Besides being a jerk.

Gajeel didn't say anything as he walked up in front of Y/N getting in his face. Y/N backed up and sweated nervously.

Y/N: Uhh can I help-

Gajeel: So you must be the fire dragon slayer. Salamander right?

Y/N: I-I guess.

Gajeel: Heh. I see.

Y/N was confused on what Gajeel and everyone else was confused as well. Then, before anyone could react, Gajeel punched Y/N in his face, sending him flying. The young dragon slayer hits a nearby tree as he coughs up some blood as he lands on the ground. Everyone just watched as both Amity, who dropped her books, and Luz ran to him.

Amity&Luz: Y/N!

Gajeel lets out a sinister laugh until he feels something below his neck.

Gajeel: *looks down* Oooh and what do you think you're doing, Small fry?

The scene shows Luke with his sword pointing at Gajeel's neck with a solemn look.

Luke: *no emotion* You explain that to me.

Gajeel just smiled sinister at Luke as both Luz and Amity were helping Y/N up.

Luz: Y/N! Are you ok!?

Y/N: *coughs up some blood* Y-Yea I'm ok.

Amity: Come on let's get you to the nurse!

Both Amity and Luz carry Y/N inside until they hear Gajeels voice.

Gajeel: Aww leaving so soon? Come on, that was barely even a love tap.

Luke: *points the blade closer* That might have been but this won't.

Before Luke could do anything else Willow grabbed his arm.

Willow: Luke wait don't-

Luke: Give me one reason why.

Gajeel: *looks at Luke* Lighten up kid. I was just showing that dragon boy over there who's boss. I expected more from him but I guess he's just pitiful. What a let down.

Y/N just looked back glares at Gajeel and was about to say something until Luz let Y/N go and walked up to Gajeel.

Luz: Y/N is not pitiful!

Edric: Luz hold on!

Emira: Don't!

The twins attempted to stop Luz but she walked past them and stood in front of Gajeel.

Gajeel: Oooh *pushes Luke sword off him* And why's that? The little dragon couldn't even handle one of my punches *laughs sinisterly* If you ask me, he is pathetic!

Gajeel continues to laugh as everyone glares at him, Luke was about to say something until a loud slap was heard…. Luz had slapped Gajeel in the face, making everyone shocked by what she did. Even though it barely hurt Gajeel he slowly turned his head to look at Luz, who had a look of rage in her eyes.

Luz: Take it back.

Gajeel: Excuse me?

Luz: I said take it back!

Both Emira and Edric ran up and held Luz back.

Edric: Luz seriously don't!

Emira: You don't want to fight him!

Gajeel: Oh so you want me to take it back? *gets in Luz's face* And how exactly are you going to make me?

Luz: *squeezes her hands* I CHALLENGE YOU TO A WITCHES DUEL!

Everyone's eyes widened to what Luz just said.

Everyone: SHE WHAT!?

Even the nearby students that were watching heard this

"Witches duel with black steel?"

"Has that human lost her mind!?"

"She's going to get murdered!"

Gajeel: *digs inside his ear* I'm sorry I think I misheard you? Could you say that?

Luz: I said I challenge you to a witches duel!

Willow: *walks up to Luz* Luz! Have you lost it!?

Gus: Yea! This isn't someone that you can just challenge! This is black steel Gajeel!

Luz: I don't care! I won't let this jerk bully my friends like this!

Gajeel just looks at the human then back to Y/N, as he himself is shocked at what Luz just did. Gajeel just smiles sinsertaly and looks down at Luz.

Gajeel: You know what, sure kid! *gets in Luz's face* I'll take you up on your offer! *backs up* So what are the terms for this duel?

Luz: If I beat you, you have to apologize to everyone you bullied.

Gajeel: Fine by me.

Luz: And what do you want?

Gajeel: Heh nothing.

Luz: *confused* You don't want anything?

Gajeel: Nah. Because *smiles sinsterly* my fun is going to be beating you silly.

This made Luz flinch as she started to become even more nervous. Gajeel starts to draw a circle and puts his hand through it.

Gajeel: Oh and your friends can't interfere if they do you automatically lose.

Luz looked around at his friends and saw Gus, Willow, and the twins shaking their heads trying to get Luz out of it. She looks at Luke as he puts his sword away, sighing at her. Luz was losing some of her confidence until she turned and looked at the injured Y/N that gave her a look of determination. Luz then nods her head and turns and looks at him.

Luz: I accept your challenge!

Luz grabs his hands as the circle around their hands glows and disappears. The twins, Willow, and Gus just fall down comedian-like, while Luke just facepalms, Amity looks at the scene in disbelief, and Y/N had no words.

Gajeel: *lets go of Luz's hand* Meet back here after school. *walks away* Hopefully you last long.

Gajeel starts to laugh and jumps away as everyone watches.

Luz: *breaths out* Well that could have go-

Everyone minus Y/N, Luke, Amity: HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND!?

Luke: *puts his sword away* Did you people just realize that?

Everyone: Not now Luke!

Luke: Alright then.

Willow: Luz you challenge Black steel Gajeel to a witches duel!

Luz: I-I know. B-But-

Gus: This isn't a normal witch you can just challenge Luz!

Emira: You challenge a dragon slayer!

Edric: Who will probably eat you alive…. Literally!

Luz: Look I couldn't let him get away with being mean to everyone! Someone has to stand up to him!

Luke: *sigh* What happened to thinking before taking action?

Luz just chuckles nervously but looks back to see Y/N and Amity was gone.

Luz: Where did Y/N and Amity go?

Willow: They went to the nurses office.

Meanwhile Amity had carried Y/N to the nurses office. Amity was sitting on one of the nearby chairs while Y/N was resting on the bed with a bandage on his face.

Amity: How are you feeling?

Y/N: A little sore from the punch, but other than that I'm fine.

Amity: *sigh* I'm sorry that happened.

Y/N: Ehh don't worry about it. *looks out the window* I probably should have seen that coming.

It was a moment of silence until Amity said something.

Amity: Do you think she'll be ok?

Y/N: I was about to ask you that. You fought him before, how did that go?

Amity didn't say anything as she starts to remember her fight with Gajeel.

Flashback

Gajeel was smiling down on an injured Amity. Amity was on her knees holding her left arm in pain. She was glaring at him panting heavily.

Gajeel: So ready to give up yet?

Amity just continues to breathe heavily until she closes her eyes and nods her head making Gajeel laugh sinisterly.

Flashback over

Amity was too busy lost in thought as she started to shake a bit. She then felt Y/N put his hand on top of hers breaking her out of her thoughts.

Y/N: Hey. Sorry if I brought back any bad memories.

Amity: *shakes her head* No, it's fine.

Amity takes a little pass and breathes out.

Amity: If I'm going to be honest I don't think she can win. Gajeel is not like other students. He's ruthes when he fights.

Y/N: *looks down* I see.

Y/N had a bad feeling about that, but he was really hoping in some shape or form Luz would be ok. Amity notices his sad look and places her other hand on top of his.

Amity: Buuut she has surprised me a lot so maybe she might be alright.

Y/N: *looked up at Amity* You think so?

Amity: *nods* I know so.

Y/N couldn't help but smile at Amity as Amity smiled back. The two looked at each other's eyes and couldn't break contact… Until the nurse door opens to reveal Luz and Luke.

Luz: *runs inside* Y/N! There you are! We've been…. Worried….. *sees Amity and Y/N* About. You.

Luke: *walks inside and smirks* Well Well. What have you two been up to?

Y/N&Amity: *separates their hands away from each other* [blushing] Nothing!

Luke: You sure about that?

Y/N&Amity: Yes!

The two look at each other and looks away blushing bright red.

Amity: *gets up* I got to go! *looks at Y/N* I hope you get better! *looks at Luz* Human. I wish you good luck with your fight. *looks at Luke* Martins. Tell anyone and I will kill you.

Luke just shrugs his shoulders and starts to head out with Amity following as well, leaving Y/N and Luz by themselves. Y/N was nervous since Luz didn't say anything. All she did was have her head down.

Y/N: Uhh Luz are you-

Luz: Y/N.

Y/N: *jolts* Y-Yes!

Luz walks over and sits in the same seat Amity was seated in with her head still down.

Luz: What exactly happened between you two?

Y/N: *puts his hands up* Nothing I swear!

Luz: *gets in his face* Really?

Y/N: Yes Really!

Luz just continues to stare at Y/N until she smiles and pulls back.

Luz: Ok.

Y/N: Ok?

Luz: *nods her head* Yep I believe you.

Y/N: R-Really?

Luz: Yep.

Y/N still was very cautious though. But decided to go along with it.

Y/N: Anyway how are you feeling?

Luz: I was about to ask you that.

Y/N: *chuckles* Come on Luz, you know I've handled worst.

Luz: *giggles* Yeah I guess you're right.

They both shared a laugh until Y/N said something.

Y/N: But seriously though.

Luz: *sighs* Honestly I am kinda nervous. I guess I really got myself in a pickle didn't I.

Y/N: Yea.

Luz: It's just that… I didn't like the way he was bullying everyone or when he punched you. Someone had to stand up to him. True I'm scared but that won't stop me from standing up for what is right.

Y/N couldn't help but get caught off guard and smile at her determination.

Zack: *arms folded* A true friend.

Y/N: Well I have faith you can do it.

Luz: *smiles* Thanks Y/N. Besides, it's not like the whole school is going to be watching.

Unknown to them Zack facepalmed when she said that.

The scene changes with everyone behind the school cheering and yelling as they were sitting in the stands. Some students were at the side talking.

"How long do you think the human will last"

"Not that long"

"I give her 30 min."

At other places people were making bets.

"Step up right her come place your bets and see if the human *snickers* beat black steel Gajeel"

*laughs* "She'd be lucky enough to walk again"

"Walk? I'd be surprised if she can still move"

Meanwhile both Y/N and Luz were standing there listening to all the commotion as Y/N turned and looked at Luz.

Y/N: You just had to say something didn't you?

Luz just chuckled nervously and started walking away as Y/N followed her. They eventually made it to where Luke and the others were.

Y/N: Hey guys.

The others turned and saw both Y/N and Luz walking up to them and waved.

Willow: Luz! Y/N!

As soon as Y/N and Luz made it up to the others everyone as they started talking about the fight.

Luz: Do you guys think I can win?

Everyone looked at each other and then back to Luz.

Girls: *nervously* Yeeaaa.

Gus&Edric: No.

The girls looked at Gus and Edric. Luke just smacked both their heads as they let out a loud yelp and rubbed the back of their heads.

Gus: Ow! What!?

Edric: We were just being honest!

Luke: There's a thing such as too much honesty.

?: They do have a point kid.

Everyone looks up and sees Eda flying down on her staff with King on her shoulder.

Luz: Eda.

Eda: Ugh! Kid what have you gotten yourself into.

Luz: Well I just couldn't let him get away from hurting Y/N and everyone else.

King: By making him beat you up.

Eda: King's right kid you're going to get yourself killed out there.

Luz just looks down sadly as Y/N rubbed her head.

Willow: Don't worry Luz. You've surprised us many times.

Emira: You'll do great.

Viney: Besides I'll heal you up once it's over.

Luz smiled a bit, getting a little bit of confidence. Just then something came crashing down from the sky making everyone turn their heads. Just like before it was black steel Gajeel walking out of the crater. He looked around as everyone started whispering amongst each other. Gajeel eventually sees Luz and the others and starts walking up towards them.

Eda: Huh so that's Gajeel?

Y/N: Yea.

Eda: (Hmm he actually reminds me of someone.)

Gajeel: *stops in front of them* So *smiles* Ready to do this human?

Luz and the others just glared at him.

Luz: *takes a deep breath in and out* Yea I am.

Gajeel just smirks and starts to walk towards the center of the Grudgby field. Luz was about to follow but her arm was grabbed by Y/N. She turns and looks at him to see a worried look on his face.

Y/N: Please be careful.

Luz: *nods her head and puts her hand on top of his* Don't worry I will.

The others couldn't help but smile at this but Amity just crossed her arms at this. The twins and Luke noticed and smiled at her.

Amity: *notices and glares* You three say one word and I'll put you in the hospital.

Both the twins gave a nervous chuckle as Luke just shrugged his shoulders. Luz then walked up as everyone started taking their seats as Luz and Gajeel faced each other. Principle Bump starts to walk up to the middle of the the two fighters.

Bump: Are both of you ready?

Gajeel: Well I am *looks at Luz* Are you really up for this?

Luz: *nods her head* Yea I am.

Gajeel looks down and notices Luz's right hand shaking.

Gajeel: Ha. You can keep trying to convince yourself with that false courage all you want, but we both know you're scared.

Luz flinches a bit.

Gajeel: *turns his head and sigh* Just call it quits human. I rather not bet up on a little kitten so just-

Luz: Shut up.

Gajeel: *looks up at Luz* Huh?

Luz: I.. *looks up at Gajeel with rage* I said shut up! I'm not going to stand here and let you keep belittling me and my friends! *points to Gajeel* Someone has to stand up to you and I'm going to!

Everyone was taking back from Luz's speech as silence filled the field. Gajeel continues to look at Luz. As he did for just a split second he saw someone which made his eyes open widen but then quickly went back to normal.

Gajeel: Alright then human *smiles* Show me what you got.

Luz: *gets into a fight stance* Gladly.

Bump: Alright! *brings his hand up* Let the witches duel *brings his hand down* Begin!

Luz runs up to Gajeel as he just watches to see what she was planning to do. Luz goes for a punch much towards everyones shocked. Gajeel just simply stops it with one finger as he looks at Luz puzzled.

Gajeel: Don't tell me you thought that would work?

Luz just smiles as she reaches into her pocket and pulls out a light glyph. She then brings it forward and slaps it on Gajeels forehead. Before Gajeel could do anything the glyphed activated, making a bright light shine in Gajeel's face, blinding him.

Gajeel: Arg! The hell!?

As Gajeel was distracted by the light spell Luz pulled out an ice glyph and slammed it on the ground. As she did that a giant Ice piller came out sending Gajeel flying in the air as he landed hard on the ground. This shocked everyone as a human sent a dragon slayer flying in the air.

Luke: Huh? That happened.

Gus: Go Luz!

Willow: You're doing good!

Everyone started cheering while Amity and Y/N were silent. Luz looked over and saw the dust started to clear up.

Luz: How did you like that!?

But as the dust cleared we see Gajeel just patting the dust off him.

Gajeel: Heh. Don't tell me that's it.

Luz was shocked at first but then shook her head as she glared at Gajeel.

Gajeel: Heh. You can keep glare at me as much as you want, it won't help.

Luz continues to glare at Gajeel as he starts walking up to her.

Gajeel: You have guts human…. Too bad

Gajeel then disappeared, shocking Luz as she looked around.

Luz: Where did he-

Before Luz could finish she saw a shadow hovering over her as she looked up and saw Gajeel in the air with a sinister smile and his fist raised.

Gajeel: IT'S NOT ENOUGH! TO BEAT ME!

Gajeel then goes for a punch which Luz avoided, however as he punched the ground it destroyed it making dirt and derby fly everywhere. This made Luz get sent flying with it. Everyone else had to shield their eyes from the giant explosion. Soon the dust around Gajeel started to settle down and the young dragon slayer removed his hand from the ground and started to open and squeeze his hand.

Gajeel: Hmph. Looks like I put a little too much in it. *looks around the dust* Now where did-

Gajeel was cut off when something appeared from his right side.

Gajeel: *looks over* Using my own dust against me *raises his fist* Good idea but that-

When Gajeel threw his punch, hoping to hit Luz, he ended up hitting the dust as something landed on his knuckles.

Gajeel: Won't work?

Gajeel noticed it was one of Luz's glyphs and it activated, freezing his whole right arm. This caught Gajeel by surprise as he started to back up only for him to step on another ice glyph as it frosted his left foot.

Gajeel: Ugh! Another one!

Before Gajeel could do anything else he once again stepped on another Ice glyphed freezing his other foot. As Gajeel was going to break the Ice with his free hand he then heard footsteps approaching fast. He turned and saw Luz with another Glyph in his hand.

Gajeel: Don't think that will work on-

But suddenly another one of Luz glyphs started to fall down and landed on his shoulder activating a bright light blinding Gajeel again. As soon as the light clears Gajeel opens his eyes to see Luz with a Glyph in her right hand over her left shoulder smirking at him. Gajeel then raised an eyebrow on why she was smirking until he realized he couldn't move. He looks down and sees that his whole body was trapped in ice. Soon the dust cleared and everyone saw that Gajeel was trapped in ice. Everyone was shocked that a human was able to do that.

"Wow she was able to trap Black steel in Ice!"

"Damn she's actually good.

"Dang it! Now I lost a bet!"

"Haha fork over the snails buddy!"

Meanwhile Y/N and the others.

Gus: Heck yea Luz!

Jerbo: You got him!

As everyone else was cheering, Amity, Luke, Y/N, and Eda were quiet.

Eda: You three see it two huh?

Edric: See what?

Luke: Sadly I do.

Amity: This isn't good.

Edric: Umm guys a little explanation.

Gus: Yea from what it looks like Luz is winning.

Emira: I think you forgot what black steel can really do.

Everyone was quiet until Y/N said something.

Y/N:... He's holding back.

Back with Luz and Gajeel.

Gajeel: Huh. *looks down at himself and back to Luz* Got to say for such weak spells you made good use of them.

Luz: *glares* Are you just going to keep looking down on me!? *smirks* If you haven't noticed, you're frozen like a popsicle.

Gajeel: *raises and eyebrow* I'm not going to ask. Anyway if you haven't realized *eyes start to glow* I'm just getting warmed up.

Luz raised an eyebrow until she started to hear the ice around Gajeel starting to shatter. She looks and sees cracks forming. Before she could react Gajeel stretched his arms out as the ice shattered around him causing all of it to head into different directions. Luz was forced to move back. She then saw Gajeel real his right arm back making her dash back.

Luz: (His fist can't reach me from this distance I should be-

Before Luz could fished that thought she was then hit in the gut making her cough up a bit of blood. Luz looked down and saw that his arm wasn't an arm anymore but instead a giant steel beam that stretched towards her. Luz ended up getting sent flying from it and landed on the ground heavily as she held her gut in pain as she kept coughing.

The others watched in horror on what happened.

Jerbo: W-What just happened?

Viney: A steel beam just came out his hand, that's what happened!

Barcus: *bark bark* This isn't looking good.

Eda starts to grit her teeth and wanted to go help her but she then notices Y/N started to flare up.

Eda: *looks back at Luz and* Kid…

Gajeel: *retract his beam* I call that one the Iron dragon: Club. *turns back into a normal hand* If an opponent is outside of my reach I can extend my arms and legs into steel clubs hitting my opponent with full force.

Gajeel then starts walking up to a coughing up Luz.

Gajeel: Sad part is it will hurt like hell when someone is hit by it. I will admit for a little human you put up more of a fight than I thought. But however *stops and bend down to Luz's level* you're nowhere close to my level.

Luz: *mumbles*

Gajeel: Huh? Sorry I didn't catch that.

Luz: *mumbles*

Gajeel: Speak up human I can't hear you.

Luz: I said *activates a Ice glyph* Don't look down on me!

A small ice piller headed straight for Gajeel's face but the dragon leaned back and avoided the attack.

Gajeel: Heh. Nice try kid.

Gajeel did a flip and pushed off with his right hand and slid a bit as he looked forward. Once he was steady he saw Luz running up to him as he smiled.

Gajeel: Still want to keep going? Ok then let's see how long you last.

Gajeel reeled his hand back

Gajeel: Iron Dragon:

Then he stretches his hand out as it transforms into a steel club.

Gajeel: Club!

Luz was barely able to avoid it since her body was still recovering from the last one she received.

Luz: (If another one of those hits me then it will be over.)

Gajeel: Not done yet!

Luz looked over and saw Gajeel pulled his other hand back and swung it forward as another steel beam was heading towards her. Luz eyes widened as she quickly ducked under it avoided it as she heard it crash onto the ground. Seeing her opportunity she quickly ran from under his pillar to the left side at him with an ice glyph in hand to attack him. Gajeel turned and looked at Luz and started to smile. Luz was confused at first until she saw the pillar in Gajeels left arm start to sprout a smaller one. Luz couldn't react in time as the pillar hit her square in the face, sending the poor human girl rolling on the ground.

"Ohh that had to hurt!"

"She's definitely going to feel that tomorrow."

"If she can live to see tomorrow."

Willow: *covers her eyes* I can't keep watching this.

Edric: Luz just threw in the towel! It's not worth seeing you get hurt!

Gajeel: *retracts his beams* Hear that human your friends are telling you to call it quits. What do you say you give up?

Luz slowly starts to get up as she whips some blood off her face and looks up at Gajeel. As soon as they made eye contact Gajeel could have sworn he saw fire in her eyes.

Luz: I…. Said…. I'm… Not… Giving up…..

Gajeel: Hmph. Why do you continue to fight? It's not your problem so why do you just keep fighting for someone else's?

Luz starts to chuckle weakly.

Luz: Geez your dumb. I guess you really do have iron for brains.

Everyone in the stance started to say "oohh!" as for Luz's friends they looked at her like she was crazy.

Gajeel: *Annoyed* You shouldn't have said that.

Just then Gajeel threw another beam at Luz hitting her in the stomach making her cough up more blood as she rolled on the ground. This made both Y/N and Eda start squeezing their hands until blood started to draw. Luke notices this and looks at them but then back at the fight.

Luz was struggling to get up as Gajeel started walking up to her. He then made it in front of her and picked her up by the collar.

Gajeel: Don't start talking big when on the ground bleeding out, human.

Luz: *cough cough* Well *smirks and looks at Gajeel* Seems your having trouble *pants* beating this weak human.

Luz continues to pant as Gajeel just glares at her. He lifts her up and throws her across the court making Luz slide across the ground coughing up a storm.

All of Luz's friends continue to watch this with a mixture of anger, worry and fear for the young girl's life.

Gajeel: You got a lot of guts talking like that. Too bad you're busy coughing them up. *turns his hand into a steel club* Let's try making you sing in a different tone, human.

Luz: *slowly starts to get up holding her stomach in pain* People like you *pants* think they can *pants* get away with *pant* hurting people.

Y/N: Luz.

Luz: But you never think *pants* Of the people who *pants* will stand up to you.

Gajeel: And what? Is that person going to be you?

Luz holds an ice glyph in both her hands as she stares Gajeel down.

Luz: *smiles weakly* Heh. Maybe or maybe not.

Gajeel looks at Luz and just like before an image of a boy appeared taking the place of Luz. The boy was all beat up with cuts and bruises all over his arm and face. However the boy had a smile on his face and was in a fighting stance as his hair covered his eyes.

?: That's the best you got. I can still keep going. I'm going to make you apologies for what you did.

Gajeel: *Smiles* Oh really? Then let's find out!

Gajeel jumps in the air and starts to head down to hit Luz with one of his steel clubs.

Everyone: LUZ!

As the club was about to hit Luz's face her body suddenly shifted to the right avoiding it. This caught everyone, even Gajeel, off guard. Just then Luz's body fell down on the ground hard as she laid there passed out. Gajeel lands on the ground and retracts his steel club and looks down at the fallen human. Bump walks over and kneels down and touches the humans neck. Luckily he still felt a pulse but she was knocked unconscious.

Bump: Luz is unable to continue. Which makes Black steel Gajeel the winner.

After that Luz and her friends ran up to her.

Willow: Luz! Luz!

Gus: Come on Luz!

Edric: You're going to be ok!

Emira: Don't die on us!

Y/N was busy walking up to Luz, with baby dragon on his shoulder, as he passed by Gajeel. The two glared at each other as Y/N kept walking and stopped in front of Luz. Everyone looked at Y/N to see he had no expression on his face. He picked up Luz bride style and carried her to the infirmary. Everyone followed Y/N while Gajeel continued to watch as he slowly started to head into the woods. As he was walking he couldn't help but feel something wrong with the outcome of his fight.

Gajeel:... What is this strange feeling?

A few hours past

Luz was slowly starting to wake up. It took a minute for her eyes to adjust even though the son had set a long ago.

Luz: ugh. Where am I-

Willow&Gus: LUZ!

Before Luz could react Willow and Gus immediately hugged the human girl. Luz finally registered the hug and hugged them back.

Gus: You're ok!

Willow: We were so worried about you!

Luz: Guys how-

Viney: You can thank me for that.

Luz looked up and saw Viney walking up to her.

Luz: Viney you healed me?

Viney: Well I can't take all the credit. I had a little help.

Emira: *waves* Hello.

Luz: *smiles* Thanks girls.

Emira: *giggles* No problem cuite.

This made Luz blush a bit. Suddenly baby dragon appeared and flew and nuzzled onto Luz's shoulder.

Luz: Hey boy. You were worried about me.

The baby dragon makes little whimpers as Luz pets him. Luke starts to walk up to her.

Luke: Well at least we didn't have to bury your body.

Eda: *walks up to her* How are you feeling kiddo?

Luz looks up at Eda and her smile starts to turn into a frown.

Luz: I lost didn't I?

Nobody said anything they we're all quiet. Luz looked at Luke as he just nods his head. Luz looked down until she felt someone's hand on her shoulder. She saw Y/N looking at her giving her a neutral expression. Luz looked up at him and held his hand. Everyone went and comforted Luz.

After spending some time in the infirmary Luz was able to head back to the Owl House. Everyone went with her to make sure she was ok. They all still notice Luz's sad look and try to cheer her up.

Willow: Hey Luz it's ok.

Gus: Yea so you lost. I mean hey at least it was to a dragon slayer.

Everyone just glared at Gus, making him shrink.

Luke: You really need to work on your words of encouragement Gus.

Luz: Thanks guys but I just want to put this day behind me.

Everyone could hear the sadness of Luz's voice as they all kept walking to the owl house. Once they made it there they noticed something. The door to the house was open and Hooty was nowhere in sight.

Luke: Uhh did you leave the door open teach or…

Eda: No *holds up her staff* Stay behind me kids.

Everyone nodded their heads as they slowly started to approach the owl house. As everyone began to walk inside they started to hear munching. They all turned their heads and low and behold they saw Black steel Gajeel eating the houses silverware with a neutral expression.

Gajeel: *mouth full* Swp.

Everyone just stared at Gajeel dumbfooled until Eda screamed.

Eda: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOUSE!?

Luke: More like how did you get it?

Luz: Yea! *panics* Wait where's Hooty!? What have-

Gajeel: *Puts up his hand up and swallows* I didn't kill the bird thing. *puts up stairs* He's up stairs talking to a bird beam I made.

Eda: HOOTY!

Hooty: *stretches down stairs* What I was having a nice convers- GHCK!

Eda: *chocking Hooty* YOU JUST LET THIS PUNK INTO MY HOUSE!

Hooty: *choking* B-BUT HE MADE ME A FRIEND!

Eda: *lets go of him* He's the one who beat up Luz!

Hooty instantly get defensive and hisses at Gajeel.

Hooty: *hiss* YOU DARE HURT LUZ! *hiss* GET OUT OF ME!

Baby dragon hopped of Y/N shoulder and join Hooty, growling at Gajeel.

Gajeel: Heh. You also have a pet salamander as well. *looks at Y/N* Good on yea.

Hearing the word pet made Baby dragon even more mad and was about to attack until Y/N walked between Hooty and baby dragon and patted their heads.

Y/N: It's ok you two.

Everyone started at Y/N confused.

Gus: Uh Y/N what are you-

Gajeel: Heh. What up, salamander?

Y/N: *stares at Gajeel* ….Bet all that iron made you thirsty. Want some apple blood?

There was a moment of silence as everyone just stopped and processed what Y/N just said. Eda was the first one to lose it.

Eda: HOLD ON A SECOND KID THAT-

Gajeel: *smiles* Sure why not?

Eda: WAIT WHAT!?

Y/N: I'll be back.

Y/N starts to walk into the kitchen as Eda continues to yell at him.

Eda: KID WHY THE HELL ARE YOU GIVING HIM MY APPLE BLOOD!

Luke: Pretty sure you stole it anyway.

Eda just glares at Luke.

Edric: Probably now's not the best time to mess with her.

Luke just shrugs as Y/N comes back with apple blood and puts it on the table as he sits down in front of Gajeel. Everyone one else watches the scene between them confused.

Gus: So am I the only one confused on why Y/N is being nice to him?

Jerbo: Nope I'm confused as well.

Viney: Same here.

Everyone else agreed while Eda was still angry from what Y/N did. Meanwhile Y/N and Gajeel continue to stare at each other.

Gajeel: Heh. *puts his arms around the couch* Got to say *looks around* You got a pretty nice place here, Salamander. Far away from the town people, a nice ocean view.

Hooty: See, someone appreciates me.

Eda hits hooty in the head as a lump forms on his head.

Y/N: I doubt you came here just to compliment the house Gajeel. Why are you here?

Gajeel: *Smiles* To fight you Salamander.

Everyone begins to look at Gajeel.

Gajeel: I know your kind Salamander: You hate it when someone beats up on your friends, hate it when one bullys and belittles them for being weak. The reason why I challenged *points to Luz* That pathetic human to a duel is because I knew it would spite you.

Luz looked down sadly while Eda put a head on her shoulder as she glared at Gajeel.

Gajeel: Right now you must be feeling so much rage inside just ready to burst out *gets up and slams his foot on the table* Well *gets in Y/N's face* Why don't you take me on and let that rage out?

Suddenly green magic surrounds Gajeel taking the form of a dragon, growling at Y/N. Everyone looked at the scene scared out of their minds.

Y/N: *sigh* How sad.

Gajeel: What was that?

Y/N: The way you talk and belittle people is sad. Making them feel like they're worthless, like they're not worth your time. Yet you continue to challenge them. Why? Too humiliated them?

Gajeel just raises his eyebrow as everyone keeps listening to Y/N.

Y/N: No. You do it for a different reason.

Gajeel just glares at Y/N.

Y/N: But you were right about one thing though…..

Y/N looked up at Gajeel with his eyes beating red as fire started to surround him.

Y/N: *pissed off* I am very pissed off right now.

Y/N fire magic started to spread and transformed into a fire dragon as well. Soon both their dragons glaring and growling at each other. Everyone else who was watching this couldn't help but become even more scared than before.

Edric: *hugging Emira* W-Whoa.

Emira: *holding Edric: S-So this is what-

Gus: *holding Willow* T-Two dragon.

Willow: *holding Gus* A-Are like when their-

Viney: *hugging both Jerbo and Barcus* A-Angry.

Barcu: *whimpers*

Luke: (Their magic energy is so intense. It's almost hard to stand.)

Eda: (Just like Igneel.)

Baby dragon hides behind Amity's leg.

Luz&Amity: *worried* (Y/N.)

Soon the magic died down and the two looked at each. Gajeel glaring down and YN and Y/N looking up at Gajeel. Y/N stands up and looks at Gajeel.

Y/N: I accept your challenge.

Gajeel: *smiles* Alright then but this duel is going to be different then your normal witches duel

Y/N: How so?

Gajeel: Dragon slayer duel.

This made everyone but Eda raises their eyebrows.

Edric: Dragon slayer duel.

Luke: What the hell is that?

Eda: Oh no kid don't acc-

Gajeel: A dragon duel is similar to a witches duel you can either knock your opponent out cold or *smiles sinsterly* Fight them to the death.

This caused everyone to flinch but then Gajeel continued.

Gajeel: But if the loser is still alive then: They are banned from every stepping foot unto the boiling Isles.

Everyone became quiet as they couldn't believe what they heard.

Y/N: So that would me I'll be send back to earth huh?

Gajeel: For you I guess so still want to fight Salamander.

Luz: Y/N wait don't-

Y/N: Ok.

Everyone was shocked from what Y/N had said even Gajeel was cut off guard.

Y/N: If I lose then I'll return back to the human world.

There was a moment of silence as everyone was processing what Y/N just said. They broke out of their thoughts when Gajeel started chuckling but then his chuckling turned into sinister laughter. After he started to calm down he looked Y/N into his eyes.

Gajeel: I got to say Salamander you truly are insane *smirks* But I like that.

Gajeel begans to draw a green circle as he puts his hand through it while holding it up. Y/N looked at it and grabbed his hand and shook it. After that was done, they let go of their hands and Gajeel headed out the door.

Gajeel: We'll fight at the Hexside Grudgby field in 1 week. I'll let you enjoy your last few days here.

Gajeel heads out the door leaving the owl house with everyone else in it.

Y/N: *sigh and smiles* Well that could have gon-

SLAP

The slapping sound echo through the whole house. Y/N eyes widen from this as he turns his eyes to see who slapped him. It turned out to be Luz that slapped him.

Y/N: *holds his cheek in pain* Oww! *looks at Luz* What the hell Luz!? What was that for!?

Luz: Have you completely lost your mind!?

Y/N: What do you mean?

Eda: She means why did you bet you staying on the Isle!?

Y/N: Well I didn't have a choice. This was the only way he would agree.

Willow: But Y/N if you lose you'll never be able to come back!

Gus: Yea!

Y/N: *rubs the back of his head* Y-Yea that's true.

Jerbo: Do you even think you can win!?

Y/N: Well I never know unless I try.

Everyone just looked at Y/N like he was crazy. As Y/N just chuckled nervously.

Y/N: A-Amity come on your with me ri-

Before he could say anything he looked and saw Amity with her head down and he could have sworn he saw a tear fall from her eye.

Amity: Y-Your an idiot.

Amity then ran off.

Emira: Mittens wait! *looks at Y/N* Y/N out of all the things you've done this has to be the stupidest thing you've done. And that's saying something when I'm with Edric.

Edric: Yea…. Hey!

Luke: (It's not like she's wrong.)

Both the twins ran after Amity while the others minus Luke, Luz and Eda left as well. They all turned to Y/N and just shocked their heads in disappointment. Luz just looked at Y/N and then looked down as she gritted her teeth and ran up to her room. We heard the door slam that made Y/N flinch a bit. Y/N then looked up at Eda as she just glared at him but then walked away with King on her shoulder as he looked back at Y/N with a disappointed look. The two went up to Eda's room as Y/N heard her slam the door too. Y/N flinched again and sighed leaving him and a cross armed Luke alone.

Y/N: Aren't you going to leave?

Luke: I should but I want to ask why? I'm pretty sure you knew they would react like this so why still do it?

Y/N: *sigh* Honestly I don't really know. I guess because I wanted them to take their anger out on someone else. You know?

Luke: *raises his eyebrow* What?

Y/N: I know it's weird but *looks outside the window* You can tell a lot about a person when you look into their eyes. The eyes are like an open window to one's soul.

Luke: *confused* What the hell does that have to do with Gajeel?

Y/N: *smiles* I'm pretty sure you'll figure it out.

Luke just continues to look at Y/N more confused than usual.

Y/N: *claps his hands* Welp time to get to training. *walks upstairs* If I want to beat Gajeel I have to be extra ready.

Luke: Wait hold on. How are you going to get ready?

Y/N: *smiles* My secret.

And with that Y/N head upstairs into he's and Luke's room. Luke looked up even more confused.

Luke: What the hell is with that idiot?

Hooty: *Rubs on Luke's cheek* Maaaybe he has a plan.

Luke: Maybe.

…

Luke: Get off me.

Y/N was upstairs packing up some things as he was humming. Just then Zack spirit appeared as he looked at Y/N.

Zack: Y/N what are you thinking!?

Y/N just continued to pack as Zack kept talking.

Zack: Have you lost your mind!? Look I know I did crazy stuff in the past but this is even crazier! Look I get it you want to make Gajeel pay for what he did to your friends, to Amity, and to Luz, But betting your whole stay on the Isles isn't worth it!

Y/N continued to pack as Zack started to get annoyed.

Zack: Are you even listening to me!?

Y/N: *Puts his back on his back* Yep I heard everything you said.

Zack: So why-

Y/N: It's like I told Luke I have to do this. Also I'm not doing it just for Luz, Amity, and all the other people Gajeel humiliated.

Zack: Then who-

Y/N: I'm doing this for myself.

Zack: What?

Y/N: This is a duel between dragon slayers so *smirks* I get to show and see what a dragon slayer is made of.

Zack just stared at Y/N in disbelief.

Zack: I What *sigh* Guess I can't talk you out of it. Well I guess we should start on your training.

Y/N: Yeeeea about that. *takes of the necklace* I'm going to need you to stay here.

Zack:... What?

Y/N: Remember what you told me *sets the necklace on the desk* This type of duel is a duel between two opponents showing off their strengths.

Zack: But this is getting you ready for it! It's completely different!

Y/N: Sorry Zack *walks to the window* I have to do this on my own.

Zack: *baffled* What the Y/N!? What ha-

Y/N: *two finger salute* See ya later Zack!

Y/N then flies out the window in the sky as Zack just looks out the window.

Zack: *sighs and puts his hand on his forehead* What has gotten into him?

Zack then hears the room door open and sees Luke walking inside.

Luke: Y/N? Where the hell did he-

Luke looks over and sees a note left beside Y/N's necklace.

Luke: Why would he leave this here?

Luke opens the note and it says:

"Dear Luke (cause I'm pretty sure you read this first) If anyone is looking for me tell them I went off to go train for my fight with Gajeel. I need maximum focus so I'll be gone for a while. I will probably be back before the fight. Til then see ya in a bit my friend"

Luke just stares at the note until he sighs and squeezes it with his right hand.

Luke:...Idiot.

Back with Y/N as he is currently flying in the sky. He then sees a familiar snowing area as he smiles.

Y/N: Made it!

Y/N starts to land in the snowing area as he breathes in the air and lets out a deep exhale as he sees his breath.

Y/N: Aaahh. The knee. Oh how I miss this place. *looks around* Now let's see.

Y/n then starts walking around the snowy area for a few minutes until he finally makes it to a cave.

Y/N: Ah-ha! I knew I would find it!

Y/N cups his hands together and brings it towards his mouth.

Y/N: HEY! Anyone home!?

His voice echoed through the cave and soon it started to get quiet.

Y/N: *scratches the back of his head* Huh? I guess nobody's home.

Just then something slammed behind him making Y/N eyes widen. He then slowly turns around to see the giant slitherbeast he once fought before looking down at him. The big slitherbeast starts to growl as Y/N smiles at it.

Y/N: Hey Slitherbeast! How's it going!?

The big slitherbeast continues to look at Y/N. It then bends down and starts to sniff Y/N until it just nods its head.

Y/N: Heheh. I'm glad to hear that. *looks around* Hey where is the othe-

Before Y/N could finish that sentence he was soon knocked down by a white blur. This made him tumble on the ground until a loud crash was heard and a smoke cloud was formed. Soon the smoke cloud disappeared and Y/N was groaning from what hit him. He starts to shake his head and then looks up to see what knocked him down. As he looked up he saw the smaller slitherbeast looked down at him as it growled.

Y/N: *smiles* Hey it's you! How's it going!?

The smaller slitherbeast just continued to growl at Y/N until it started to smirk and got off Y/N. Y/N got off and dusted himself off.

Y/N: Heheh. Guess you're glad that you managed to knock me down huh?

The slitherbeast just smirks at Y/N while Y/N just smiles and shakes his head.

Y/N: Yea yea enjoy it while you can.

The bigger slitherbeast then walks up and looks down at Y/N as it starts to growl at Y/N as Y/N just smiles.

Y/N: Oh yea why am I here? I want to see if you can help me get stronger.

The bigger slitherbeast looks at Y/N with confusion.

Y/N: You see I want to become stronger and I just know from your help I'll be able to do that *bows his head* Please mister slitherbeast help me!

The slitherbeast started at Y/N for a bit until it sighed and nodded his head.

Y/N: Really!? *pumps his fist in the air* Awesome when do we start!

The slitherbeast didn't say anything, only smirked. Y/N was confused until something hit him from his right side sending him flying into a tree as he crashed. Y/N then falls down and lands on the ground as he groans in pain. He looked up and saw it was the small slitherbeast headbutted his shoulder and smiled at him.

Y/N: *in pain* Let me guess. Training begins now.

Little Slitherbeast: *growls* You weren't ready.

Meanwhile at a different location a certain iron dragon was in his cave looking down at the rocky landscape as he smiled brightly.

Gajeel: Finally I get to prove my worth *raises and squeeze his hand* and crush that salamander!

?: Oooh you finally found a challenger huh?

Gajeel turns around and sees someone approaching him. Once he was in view we saw a silver haired man with the similar red eyes as Gajeel. He also had the same piercing in the same location as well. The difference is he was wearing an eye patch on his left eye.

Gajeel: Oh hey Metalicana.

Metalicana: Now Now no need for that after all *glares at him* I am your father after all.

Gajeel: Tch. Like I'll ever acknowledge you as my father.

Metalicana: *grows a tick mark* Grrrr! You damn brat. That's some big vocabulary for someone who only thinks with his fist.

Gajeel: *grows a tick mark and turns around* And what is that supposed to mean?

Metalicana: Do I have to spell it out for you stupid?

Gajeel: *angry* Who you calling stupid old man!?

Metalicana: WHO YOU CALL OLD LITTLE BRAT!?

The two were in each other face glaring at each other until they separated and turned their heads with a loud hmph.

Metalicana: Anyway I overheard your conversation that you found another challenger.

Gajeel: Yea what about?

Metalicana: Just curious that's all. So what or who is he?

Gajeel: Hmph *crosses his arms and stares into the horizon* A fire dragon slayer: Salamander.

Metalicana's eyes widened from what Gajeel said.

Metalicana: (No way could he be-) *reganize his composure* I see. Do you think you can win?

Gajeel: Heh. Hell yea I can. So what if he's a dragon slayer? He's nothing compared to me!

Metalicana just stared at Gajeel until a smirk appeared on his face as he let out a little laugh.

Gajeel: *turns and looks at Metalicana* And what's so damn funny?

Metalicana: Nothing nothing. *turns around* Let's just say too much over confidence could be bad for you.

Gajeel: Heh it's not over confidence if it's true.

Metalicana: *sigh and mumbles* Sounds very familiar.

Gajeel: What was that?

Metalicana: It's nothing. *begins to walk* Come on, I made dinner.

Gajeel just hmphs as he starts to follow behind his dad as he starts to get ready for the match.

1 Week later

A whole week has passed and everyone wasn't really happy. Well besides the fact Y/N challenged and betted his whole stay on the boiling Isles, he also didn't show up to hexside for that whole week. Some of the students started to call Y/N a coward and he was scared to fight Gajeel, others thought that he left and went back home. But as for Y/N's friends, they got the truth from Luke. They all had mixed reactions: Emira, Willow, and Viney were too busy calling him an idiot for training on his own. The guys just thought it was some kind of pride he had from not wanting help from others. Luke just thought he was being crazy. But the two who were taking it to heart were Amity and Luz.

The two girls were barely able to function at all for the past week. Every time Luz was in class she would be busy zoning out to even focus in class. Amity couldn't do anything at all. If Y/N loses then she would have to watch him leave and she wouldn't be able to do anything. She had nightmares about it for the past week which resulted in her losing tunes of sleep. Both girls were in their rooms balled up in the corner. The twins visited Amity and Luke was with Luz.

Luke: Luz it's almost time for the fight let's go.

There was silence for a bit until Luke sighed.

Luke: Look I get it you're angry that he did this, but still you can't just stay locked in there all day. At least go and support him.

Luz didn't say anything as she grips her matters tightly

Luke: If you wonder if I'm mad…. I'll be honest, I'm pissed that the idiot agreed to this, especially since he didn;t want our help. But what's done is done, this is something he has to see through to the end. *leans on the door with his arms crossed* We might not be able to stop it. But we can at least be there to support him. Isn't that what friends are for?

There was a moment of silence until the door opened to reveal Luz who's hair was all messed up.

Luz:...Do you think he can win?

Luke: *shrugs* Can't say for certain, but I do know he won't go down easy. So come on let's go see this idiot fight.

Luz: *started to smile* Yea.

Luke: But first *points to her hair* Fix your hair, you look like a mess.

Luz: *glare* You just had to say something didn't.

Luke: What? It's true.

Meanwhile the twins were trying to get Amity out of her room.

Emira: *knocks on the door* Mittens it's almost time for the fight.

Edric: Come on sis this might be the last time you see your crush.

Emira: *glares* Edric.

Edric: What!?

Emira: *sigh* But Edric does have a point. Sis we know you're mad at him, but staying mad isn't going to change anything. Right now he needs more than just your anger, he needs your love, your support.

Edric: Your appearance.

Emira: I what *sigh* Yes, your appearance.

Edric just smiles brightly.

Emira: Please sis just come on out.

Edric: Maybe if you go watch him and if he sees you in the crowd he might get a big power busy and beat Gajeel.

Emira just looked at Edric with raised eyebrows.

Edric: I've seen a lot of shows.

Just then the twins saw the door open. They saw Amity with her hair down in her pajamas.

Amity: *sigh*... Do you think he can win?

Emira: Well you've seen him fight before

Edric: And fought him as well.

Emira: What do you think?

Amity was quiet as she started to remember all the times Y/N fought. She then starts to smile until she remembers Gajeel's fights as well. The way he beats up students.

Amity: I-I-

Emira: *grabs her hand* Hey, just believe in him.

Amity nods her head and goes back inside.

Edric: Hey where are you going?

Amity: To change. You didn't think I was going in this were you?

Edric: Well of course not *chuckles nervously*

Both Amity and Emira just stared at their brother with blank expressions as Edric continued to laugh nervously.

The scene changes to the gruby field as everyone was walking around talking about the fight. Similar to Luz and Gajeel's fight there were also making bets to see who would win. As the group was listening to everyone they ended up making it to where the others were.

Luz: Hey guys.

Willow: Luz! Luke!

Luke: What's up?

Edric: Nothing much, just excited about the fight.

Jerbo: I'm nervous. I mean a fight between two dragon slayers. What could happened?

Edea: Let me just tell ya kid lots and lots of destruction.

The group could only cringe at the thought of what Eda said.

Emira: So have you guys heard anything from Y/N?

The owl house crew was silent. Ever since Y/N left to go train for about a week nobody has heard anything from him. They became very worried about him but knew he would come back.

Luke: Not since he left.

Luke notice his friends sad looks especially Luz and Amity's

Luke: *sigh* But knowing that idiot he probably has come up with a way to beat that smug off of Black steels face.

This made everyone smile a bit. Just then a loud crash made everyone stop talking and look. The turn and saw Gajeel walking out of a crater as he dust himself off with a smirk on his face. Everyone was scared/glaring at him. Gajeel continues to smile as he walks up to the center of the arena with principal Bump looking at him nervously.

Gajeel: So then *crosses his arms* Where is my so-called opponent?

Bump: Yes well nobody really knows where he is?

Gajeel was quiet for a second until he started to go into a fit of laughter. This made Luz and the others glare at him.

Gajeel: [begins to calm down] So the kid accepts my challenge and then decides not to show up. Wow I can't believe salamander is that much of a coward not to show himself.

This caused the group to become made, especially Luz and Amity.

Gajeel: *sigh* And I was hoping for some fun oh well *begins to walk away* Guess I ask for a little too much.

Luz: Y-

Amity: Y/N ISN'T A COWARD!

Everyone turned and looked at Amity. She was standing up and glaring at Gajeel. Gajeel just turned his head and looked at the young Blight.

Gajeel: Oh? If he's no coward then where is he?

After he said that a loud crash was heard right in front of him. Everyone had to shield their eyes from the dirt and derby. Soon the dusk cloud settles down and it reveals to be, Y/N.

Y/N: *smirks* Right here.

Group: Y/N!

Y/N: *rubs the back of his head* Yea sorry it took me so long.

Gajeel: Well Well Well.

Y/N stopped and turned to Gajeel, as the iron dragon slayer stood there with his arms crossed.

Gajeel: Surprised you showed up.

Y/N: *glares* Yea.

The two started to walk up to each other until they stopped standing a few feet away. Before anything else happened, Bump had drawn a spell circle. As soon as the circle was finished three barriers surrounded the field confusing a lot of people.

Luke: What's with the barriers?

Eda: Trust me kids *everyone looked at Eda* This is a fight between dragon slayers. This protection is needed.

As Bump exited the ring both Gajeel and Y/N continued to glare at each other.

Gajeel: So you ready to do this salamander?

Y/N: *breaths in and out* Yea I am.

Gajeel: Heh. I got to say you're a lot calmer than I thought you would be.

Y/N: Yea well. I guess you could say I've just been keeping it all in.

This raised not only Gajeel curiosity but the rest as well.

Y/N: Back at home I always lashed out on others and that usually got me into trouble. Overtime I started to work on that, slowly and surely I started to get somewhat better of keeping my rage in. *smiles* But now I don't have to worry anymore. *looks at Gajeel* Because…..

Fire then started to surround Y/N making everyone flinch.

Y/N: I CAN TAKE ALL OF IT ON YOU BLACK STEEL!

This caught Gajeel by surprise at first until he started chuckling and then started laughing.

Gajeel: Is that so!? Well then! COME AT ME SALAMANDER!

Bump: Let the dragons duel Begin!

As soon as Bump said that both Y/N and Gajeel dashed toward each other. Both combatants collided their wrists with each other, glaring at one another, making a giant shock wave circle. The dust of their exploding traveled around the barrier they were in, and even with its protection everyone outside could still fill the magic.

Edric: W-Whoa.

Jerbo: T-They just started and yet

Luke: We can still fill it from here.

Y/N summoned fire from his right hand to hit Gajeel, but the iron dragon slayer was able to duck in time. Gajeel counters by using his left arm and transforming it into a club, extending it to hit Y/N. Luckily Y/N was able to flip over it. As his lower body extended in the air, Y/N summoned fire on his right foot.

Y/N: Fire Dragon: TALON!

Y/N dropped his foot down on Gajeels head causing the iron dragon slayer head to fall down. For a brief second Gajeel was stunned until he started to smirk again. He looked up at Y/N shocking him. Gajeel then turned his body and side kicked Y/N. Y/N was able to block it in time, but it caused him to be sent back. Gajeel reeled in his left arm and then brought his right arm to his face and brought it forward, extending it, and transforming into a club again. Y/N was then hit in the gut and crashed into the ground creating a smoke cloud.

Luz: Y/N!

Amity: *whispers* Please be ok.

Gajeel started to smirk but then raised his eyebrow. Soon the dust started to clear with Y/N holding Gajeel's iron beam in his right hand, with his hand on fire.

Y/N: Is that all you got? These steel beams barley hurt.

Y/N starts to squeeze Gajeels steel beam hand causing it to dent a bit.

Y/N: YOU BETTER START STEPPING UP YOUR GAME!

Gajeel: *chuckles* I guess the rumors I heard about you beating that Basilisk are true. *retracts his arm* That actually burns a little. So ready for the real fun Salamander?

Y/N: *holds up his fire fist* Yea sure cause I'm going to melt that iron smirk of yours off your damn face!

Gus: He's a lot more aggressive when he fights huh?

Willow: A-Agreed.

Gajeel: Really huh? *cracks his knuckles* Then come and try!

Both Gajeel and Y/N ran up to each other. Y/N threw a fire fist at Gajeel but Gajeel was able to dodge it in time by moving to the left. Gajeel then counters with his own punch but Y/N blocks it with his left wrist, and counters with another punch. Both dragon slayers started going for blow after blow, some hitting some not.

The crowd watched in amazement.

"W-Whoa!"

"Talk about crazy!"

"They're really going at it!"

Emira: S-So this is what a fight between dragon slayers is like?

Viney: I-It's unreal.

Soon the two created some distance. Gajeel then summoned another beam but Y/N jumped over and on it. He summoned fire in his right leg and kicked Gajeel in the face.

Y/N: Got to try better then *dodges* Whoa!

Y/N was able to kick off Gajeel's shoulder and avoided an attack.

Y/N: *looks up* What the hell was that!?

What Y/N saw was not only a smiling Gajeel but also a new weapon he created. His right arm had turned into some kind of sword.

Gajeel: This is known as the Iron dragon sword.

To make matters worse the sword then started spinning like a chainsaw.

Gajeel: Anything these baby touches is ripped to shreds. I plan to use its edge on you!

Edric: H-How the hell is that thing spinning!?

Eda: Dragon slayer magic.

Gajeel then jumps in the air with his sword high and then brings it back down with fuel force. Y/N was able to roll and dodge out of the way just in time but the force pushed him away as well. Y/N rolled on the ground but was able to regain control as he was sliding on the dirt. He used his legs and right hand to slow down, eventually coming to a stop. He looked up and saw the damage Gajeel created, and what he saw shocked him.

Everyone was at a loss of words of what Gajeel just then. Gajeel then turns to Y/N and smiles sinisterly at him.

Gajeel: Well scared kid?

Gajeel then runs up with his sword above his head.

Gajeel: You should be!

Gajeel then brings his sword down but Y/N was able to block it with slayer on his back. Y/N was struggling for a bit but then slowly started to push Gajeel off him.

Y/N: That! All! You got!

Y/N started to notice something even though his sword was supposed to absorb magic, Gajeel blades were still spinning not as fast as before but were still spinning.

Gajeel: Hehehe. An anti magic sword. Could have worked well against another opponent but not on me!

Gajeel then pushes Y/N off him and starts swinging over and over again. Y/N was struggling to block a lot of them but the two clashed again and separated.

Gajeel: Got to say kid not bad. Not many people saw the dragon sword and lived that long.

Y/N: I'll take that as a compliment.

Gajeel: As you should. *dispel his sword* But I wonder just how much longer you can keep going?

Y/N: *puts his sword away* How about we find out?

Gajeel then traces a spell around himself. Soon a green circle appeared below him surrounding his entire body. What everyone saw next shocked them, Gajeels body started to change and around where his skin used to be was iron scales.

Gus: W-What the hell happened to him!?

Viney: Dragon scales.

Everyone looked at Viney.

Viney: Dragon scales are a dragon's ultimate defense against magic. Making all witch attacks useless against them.

Willow: Oh no.

Luz: *squeezes her hands together* Y/N.

Gajeel: I'M GOING TO CRUSH YOU SALAMANDER!

Y/N starts to sweat a little but stands his ground against Gajeel.

Gajel: Iron Dragon:

Suddenly Gajeel disappeared making Y/N eyes widen. But soon he appeared in front of Y/N.

Y/N: (Teleportation!?) *eye widen* (No It's-)

Before Y/N could think of anything else he started to see Gajeels fist heading towards him. Being quick on his feet he brought his arm up to block it and he did just in time. However he wasn't prepared for the force of his punch which caused him to get sent flying and crashed into a nearby rock.

Gajeel: HARD FIST!

Everyone: Y/N!

Y/N started to slide down from the rock as he held his right bruised arm in pain.

Y/N: *slowly starts to get up* He's *grunts* got faster.

Gajeel: *chuckles* Hearing you hit that rock was music to my ears.

Y/N glared at Gajeel as the iron dragon slayer started to cackle. He soon disappeared causing Y/N eyes to widen. Y/N was about to look for him until he was punched in the gut making our poor fire dragon slayer cough up some blood.

King: Oooh that had to hurt.

Gajeel wasn't done yet he then kicked Y/N to the side making him bounce and slide on the ground. Gajeel then dashed to the otherside of Y/N and kicked him in the air. He dashed again and brought both his hands together and slammed Y/N down onto the ground. Making more dirt and debri travel everywhere.

Jerbo: G-Guys this isn't looking good for Y/N.

Amity: *whispers* Come on Y/N.

Y/N was in the middle of a crater coughing up some blood as it fell on the ground. Y/N was panting heavily. As he was trying to catch his breath.

Y/N* (Focus, concentrate and predict his next line of attack)

Y/N started to catch his breath, breathing in and out. Soon he heard Gajeel coming down trying to land a punch.

Gajeel: YOUR MINE!

Y/N flipped out of the way just in time and used the giant rocks that came from Gajeels punches as footing. Gajeel looked up and was surprised he dodged it.

Y/N: Now it's my turn to fight back!

Y/N then jumps off shattering the rock he jumped off of and goes for a punch on Gajeel's face. Soon as his fist connected this made all the dust around them scatter, giving the crowd a view again.

Gus: Alright! Y/N landed a hit on him!

Everyone was about to get excited, but then they all noticed something. Gajeel hasn't moved from his spot and also Y/N fire has gone out.

Gajeel: *chuckles* Sorry kid but those puny flames of yours aren't going to do you any good against my steel.

Y/N plants his feet on the ground and starts to yell in pain holding his right hand.

Everyone: Y/N!

Y/N: *starts rolling on the ground* Don't worry guys, I'm perfectly fine! That didn't hurt at all!

Luke: *sweat drops* None of you are buying these right.

Everyone: *sweat drops* Nope.

Gajeel started to had enough of Y/N rolling around. He kicks Y/N up in the air.

Gajeel: Quit acting kid!

He then headsbutt Y/N back onto the ground making the ground shatter.

Gajeel: You just don't want your friends to see you act like a baby!

Gajeel then tries to claw Y/N but Y/N jumped just in time avoided it. As a result the force from Gajeels attack destroyed the ground.

Y/N: *scatting on the ground* OK find! *smashes his fist together* LETS SEE YOU HANDLE THIS! *breaths in* FIRE DRAGON:

The other started to get excited. But it all went to fear when they saw Gajeel mimicking the same thing.

Gajeel: *smashes his fist together and breaths in* IRON DRAGON:

Gus: Wait he can do it to!

Y/N/Gajeel: ROAR!

Both Dragon slayers unleashed a devastating breath attack. As soon as both roars made contact it created a giant explosion pushing all types of dirt and derby off into the air. Even more it had shatter the first barrier that was placed unto the arena making everyone feel some of it's effects. Everyone had to shield their eyes.

Edric/Jerbo/Gus: THIS IS CRAZY!

Soon everything started to calm down and the dust was slowly lifting up.

Luz: Where are they?

Amity: Where's Y/N?

To answer one of the girls' questions the dust cleared to show Y/N, however he was on his hands and knees breathing heavily. He had cuts, scratches and bruises all over his body. But what was really noticeable was that the left half of his clothing down to his left torso was completely torn off.

Luz/Amity: Y/N!

Luke: Damn! How powerful was that attack?

Gajeel: Really powerful!

Everyone looked up and saw Gajeel with both his hands down his side smiling sinsterly. When they looked at Gajeel they noticed the only damage he had received was that the stomach area of his clothes was destroyed.

Willow: N-No way.

Emira: H-He was able to take that with little to no damage.

Gajeel: *looks over at Y/N* Seems you now see the difference in between our powers. That breath attack of yours might have worked on others but against me it doesn't nothing. Meanwhile my iron breath attack had torn your body into shreds.

Jerbo: This isn't looking good for Y/N.

Luz: Come on Y/N you can take him.

Y/N struggled but was able to stand up but barely. He starts to pant heavily as he glares at Gajeel.

Gajeel: Oh not bad, your back on your feet. Do you really think you can still keep going?

Y/N continued to breath heavily until he stopped and started to chuckle. This confused everyone.

Y/N: So you said my fire can't hurt you. You sure about that?

Gajeel: The hell are you-

Suddenly a giant crack appeared not only on Gajeel's right side of his face but also across his chest. Gajeel stumbled for a bit but then fell down on one knee.

Amity: *smiles* He did it.

Gajeel: *holding the right side of his face* W-What the!? How!

Y/N: It took me a while to realize it. But you see my flames aren't just ordinary flames. If I put my mind to it then I can make them destroy anything it touches!

Y/N then rips off the other half of his clothing showing off his scars and muscles. This made a lot of females in the crowd blush bright red.

Luke: Huh. That was interesting right Lu-

Currently Luz was busy staring at Y/N with a huge blush on her face. Same could be said about Amity. It took her so much willpower not to pass out and with Y/N said next didn't help her at all.

Y/N: *cracks his knuckles as fire surrounds him* Alright black steel enough feeling each other out! Warm up is over, let's get down to the real fight! I'm going to shatter you into a million pieces!

Luz/Amity: (He's soo hot!)

Gajeel starts to chuckle and gets up.

Gajeel: SOUNDS LIKE FUN!

Suddenly green magic surrounds Gajeel as the top of his shirt comes off too.

"W-Wait wait wait! They are just now getting serious!?"

"They were feeling each other out!?

"They're like monsters!"

Eda: That's the power of dragon slayers.

Luke: Yea but why take off their shirts?

Y/N: Black steel I'm ready when you are!

Gajeel: There's not enough room for two dragons, kid! So I'm going to knock you out of the sky!

As the two continue to glare at one another, their magic dies down, neither one of them making a move. It was silent with only the sound of wind blowing. Everyone was nervous as they all watched to see who would make the first move. Soon a nearby rock fell down and as soon as it hit the ground both commbadents rushed at each other colliding their fist against each other making the ground crumble and a giant smoke wave. Everyone had to shield their eyes from the force. Soon everyone was able to lower their arms as they turned to see Gajeel and Y/N are gone.

"W-Where did they go?"

Soon everyone started to hear fist colliding with each above them. Everyone looked up and saw the two slayers in the air trading blows.

"W-Whoa."

"W-What the hell?"

Edric: W-What's happening?

Luz: Fireworks?

The two push each other off and use the barrier to jump towards each other head butting each other. Y/N had an angry expression while Gajeel continued to smile at him.

"I-I can't believe it."

"H-He's actually keeping up with Gajeel."

Y/N: Fire dragon:

Gajeel looks down and sees Y/N summons fire in his left hand and punches him up in his chin making Gajeels head go up.

Y/N: IRON FIST!

Gajeel spits up some blood but then smiles.

Gajeel: Iron Dragon:

Y/N eyes widened as Gajeel arm extended into a steel beam hitting Y/N in his chest.

Gajeel: CLUB!

Y/N coughs up blood as he gets sent flying down towards the ground. As he was struggling Y/N was able to get off before he hit the ground. Y/N continues to rotate his body until he lands. He lands on his feet and looks up and sees Gajeel, using his steel beam to bring him towards Y/N, coming at him.

Gajeel: I ain't done yet! *uses his free hand* Iron dragon

Y/N summons fire in his right hand. Soon both Gajeel's and Y/N's fist connects with each other.

Y/N/Gajeel: FIRE FIST!/HARD FIST!

The result created a shockwave spreading everywhere.

"I-It's so unreal watching them fight."

"A-Agreed"

Soon the two separated and started to exchange blows after blows.

Y/N went for another punch but Gajeel grabbed it, Gajeel did the same but Y/N grabbed it as well. The two were at a stand of squeezing each other's hand glaring at one another. Soon the two began to yell, powering up their magic. Soon two dragons started to form above them one green and the other red. The two dragons roared at one another. Everyone in the crowd watched this and couldn't process what was happening. Soon the two brought their heads back and began to headbutt each other. Once they did that the ground shattered even more. They continue to do this again and again. After the last one Gajeel had enough and smirked at Y/N he then pulled Y/N towards him and kneed him in the gut. This made Y/N cough up blood. Gajeel punches Y/N in then side kicks him to a nearby rock. Y/N crashes into it and falls down. Y/N looks up panting heavily as Gajeel also pants heavily as well.

"I-Is Gajeel winning?"

"No. It looks like he's out of breath two."

Y/N then slowly starts to get up panting heavily.

Gajeel: *pants* Got to say *pants* Been awhile *pants* since someone pushed me *pants* This far.

Y/N continues to pant heavily.

Gajeel: *smiles sinsteraly* But let's end this salamander.

Gajeel then brings his hand up, confusing Y/N.

Gajeel: Iron dragon lance:

Gajeel then puts his left hand on top of his right arm. He draws a spell circle and in a flash dozens of a large number of steel spears start to come out.

Gajeel: DEMON LOG!

Y/N eyes widen as he quickly dodges it just in time before any of them hit him. He looks over and sees the rock he was in front of had holes all over it.

Y/N: W-Whoa.

Gajeel: HEHEHE! NOT DONE YET!

Y/N turns and sees more of them heading right for him quickly on his feet he quickly dodges them as he jumps on rocks and other platforms. Gajeel would continue to follow him all over the arena.

Gajeel: *laugh sinsterly* YOU CAN'T RUN FOREVER KID!

Y/N continues to dodge but deep down he knows Gajeels right.

Y/N: (Damn it! I need to get in to land a solid hit! But in my current condition I can't!)

He begins to think but then decides.

Y/N: (OK Here goes!)

Y/N then jumps off one last platform towards Gajeel. He lets out a battle cry as he gets closer.

Gajeel: Coming straight at me huh alright then! COME THEN!

Gajeel then unleashes a barrage of steel spears at Y/N.

Luz: Y/N!

Y/N then takes his sword and begins to slash through as many as he can. Some of them do hit him though: His left shoulder, left leg, right torso, right side of his face, but Y/N was able to get close enough and was about to slash down at Gajeel.

Y/N: YOU LOSE BLACK STEEL!

Gajeel does say anything as he sees the sword about to hit him. But instead of fear in his eyes Gajeel just smirks at him. Y/N was confused until his eyes widened. He felt something coming from underground. Soon that thing that was underground was one of gajeel's metal clubs and it then hit Y/N up on his chin making him stun in the air. Then Gajeel grabs Y/N by the face and slams him down on the ground.

Gajeel: So long Salamander!

Gajeel then extends his arm into a pillar and drags Y/N across the ground. Everyone watched in horror.

"D-Damn."

"Black steel is brutal"

Soon Gajeel threw Y/N across the stage as Y/N crashed into the barrier and shattered it.

Everyone: Y/N!

Y/N then falls face first as his body is covered in cuts and bruises. Gajeel dispels his iron club and pants heavily.

Gajeel: Looks like *pants pants* It's over.

There was silence as Y/N was down and the others watched. Y/N eyes were open but there was barely any life in them. His body was hurting all over. Everyone either had their hands over their mouth or looked away from the scene. But Luz and Amity were the ones who had the worst looks on their faces. Both of them had tears falling from their eyes as they held their chest with pain.

Gajeel: *starts to walk up to Y/N slowly* Seems like that was the last bit of fight you had in you kid. Out of all the people I fought, you gave me the most entertainment I could ask for. A shame that it's the end like this.

As Gajeel continues to walk up to Y/N we look over to Y/N.

Y/N: (Everything…. Hurts… hehe….. So this is the power of another dragon slayer….) *eyes slowly start to close* (Everyone…)

Y/N starts to remember all of his adventures he had there. The people he met And then he remembers his-

Luz: Y/N WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?

Everyone turns and looks at Luz who had tears in her eyes.

Luz: YOU CAN'T JUST GIVE UP!

Luz: I am Luz Noceda!

Y/N: *weakly* Luz….

Luke: She's right you idiot! No matter how beated down you would get you would always get back up!

Luke: You got a lot to learn about friends. I guess I can help you.

Kid Y/N: Who are you?

Luke: Luke, Luke Martins.

Y/N: Luke…..

Amity: *breaths in and out* Y/N! I know you are stronger than that! *tears start to fall* So please don't give up!

Amity: I love to be your friend Y/N.

Y/N: Amity…..

Jerbo: Get him Y/N!

Gus: Kick his butt!

Viney: You can do it!

King: Your king commands you not to lose!

Eda: You got this kid!

Y/N: All my friends….

Gajeel looks over to them and starts to get annoyed.

Gajeel: Those damn pests are starting to piss me off!

Gajeel then hears something which makes him turn around as his eyes go wide. It was Y/N who was standing back up with his hair covering his eyes, blood dripping down from his face.

Gajeel: Y-You can still stand!?

Y/N: hehe.. Weird huh?

Gajeel starts to get irritated.

Y/N: Even though my body feels like it's going to break, even though I feel like I'm going to die, my body just continues to get up on my own.

Gajeel: Why? Why don't you just give up and stay down?

Y/N then looks up at Gajeel which makes for the first time in the iron dragon slayer's life feel some kind of fear.

Y/N: You hurt my friends.

Gajeel: *backs up* W-What?

Y/N: *summons fire in his left hand* Whenever someone mocks people I care about *summons fire in his right hand* Whenever someone hurts the people I care for *slams both his fist together* I'LL MAKE THEM PAY!

A giant wave of fire surrounds the arena making Gajeel shield his eyes.

Gajeel: (I-I don't get it where is he getting that magic from!?)

Gajeel then looks up at Salamander and then looks up at the sky.

Gajeel: N-No way!

Y/N then starts to remember what Zack said.

Zack: Everything on the Isle is made up of magic.

Y/N smiles for a bit and then lets out a loud roar.

Gajeel: *growls* Don't get full of yourself!

Gajeel then jumps in the air and raises his fist, but before it hits Y/N blasts him with a fire wall making Gajeel roll on the ground.

Luz: *smiles happily* Alright!

Eda: Nice one kid!

Y/N: Luke, Willow, Gus, Edric, Emira, My friends, and also Luz and Amity.

Gajeel: Enough of that crap! Iron dragon: ROAR!

Gajeel unleashes his breath attack as it heads for Y/N but instead of Y/N dodging, he brings up both his hands and sepearts the attack sending into two opposite directions.

Gajeel: *shocked* H-He deflected my breath attack with his bare hands!?

Y/N: *walks up to Gajeel* How many more people do you have to hurt until you're satisfied!? When are you going to wake up and see what you're doing is wrong!?

Gajeel: T-This can't be happening. I can't lose, it's impossible! He's nothing but trash..

Y/N: YOUR GOING TO PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO MY FRIENDS! HURTING THEM WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE YOU EVER MADE!

Gajeel: *grits his teeth* LIKE I GIVE A DAMN!

Gajeel then jumps in the air as he brings his fist up to punch Gajeel

Gajeel: Iron dragon: HARD FIST!

Gajeel tries to punch Y/N but Y/N counters it with his own fist. They looked to be equally matched but then suddenly the scale on Gajeels right arm started to break and shatter.

Gajeel: (T-This can't be happening! I'M THE STRONGEST!)

Y/N: THIS ENDS HERE BLACK STEEL! *brings his arm back* FLAME LOTUS: FIRE DRAGON FIST!

Y/N starts to unleashed thousands of punches towards Gajeel each fist he calls out someone's name

Y/N: Luke! Willow! Gus! Edric! Emira! Amity!

Y/N then punches Gajeel in the air.

Y/N: AND LUZ!

Gajeel then got punched directly on the barrier as he was beaten to the point his eyes were only pure right. Y/N let out a loud yell. He then summons fire in his right hand and dashes right in front of Gajeel.

Y/N: YOU LOSE BLACK STEEL!

Y/N then punches Gajeel directly in the gut as fire comes out behind the iron dragon slayer. Gajeel spits up some blood as his scales start to shatter around his body. Not only that, the last barrier around them shatters as well. Gajeel's body was then skating down on the ground, on his back side. He then comes to a stop and lays there.

Gajeel: *weakly* Y-You….. C-Can't….. Defeat….. M-M-

Before he could finish he then passed out as for Y/N he was panting heavily.

Y/N: I *pants* think I *pant* just did.

Y/N then falls backwards on his back looking up at the sky. Bump notices this and walks between the two boys. He looks over at Y/N who was still breathing heavily then back at Gajeel who was unconscious. He nods his head and looks at the crowd.

Bump: It would seem Gajeel is completely out cold, while Y/N is still conscious. By that matter the winner *points to Y/N*

Before Bump could comment he heard snoring and turned to see Y/N who was asleep. This made Bump raises an eyebrow but smiled.

Bump: It would seem both conbatments are down and declare this fight a draw!

The crowd starts to cheer.

"WHOA WHAT A BATTLE!"

"THAT WAS AMAZING!"

"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!""

Gus: WOW HE FIGHT BLACK STEEL TO A DRAW!

Willow: *breaths out a sigh of relief* Thank goodness it's over.

Jerbo: Your telling me *sighs* my heart couldn't take anymore of that back and forth.

Viney: Agreed.

Edric: *nods his head* Of course I had no doubt.

Emira: Really? Then why were you holding onto my hand so much?

Edric: You were holding onto me!

Emira: uh huh.

King: Hahaha! Yes! My soldier triumphed over the tyrant!

Eda: Yahoo! That's my kid!

Luke: *raises his eyebrow* Your kid?

Eda: *realizes what she said* I-I-I mean student my student hehehe.

Luke: Uh huh right? Anyway we should probably go get him.

Viney: Looks like Luz and Amity have that covered.

Everyone looks over and sees both Luz and Amity sitting on both sides on a "sleeping" Y/N. They both just stared at him until Amity began drawing a circle and Luz took out an ice glyph.

Girls: *meastly* If you don't wake up we will make you wake up.

Y/N instantly woke up.

Y/N: I'm up! I'm up! *looks at them nervously* H-Hey girls.

They didn't say anything.

Y/N: I uh won the fight. *silence* Look I get you two are-

Luz/Amity: YOU IDIOT!

This made Y/N flinch a bit. Truth be told he knew they were going to scold him.

Luz: Do you enjoy getting yourself hurt!?

Amity: Making us worried!?

Both: ALMOST GETTING YOURSELF KILLED!?

Y/N just continues to flinch and close his eyes. But he then felt something wet land on his face. He opens his eyes and sees both of them crying.

Luz: W-We were so scared.

Amity: W-We thought you were going to… to..

Y/N weakly raised both his arms and held both girls' cheeks.

Y/N: Sorry girls I didn't mean to make you both worried.

Both girls grabbed Y/N hand: Luz holding his left and Amity holding his right.

Amity: *smiles with tears* Idiot

Luz: *smiles with tears* Try not to make it a habit.

Y/N: Hehe. No promises.

They all three share a laugh. They then hear barking and they turn to see baby dragon running up to them. He stops beside Y/N and starts licking his face.

Y/N: *laughs* Hey boy, you enjoyed the fight?

Baby dragon: *bark bark* You kicked his butt.

Y/N started to laugh but then started to feel pain around his body.

Y/N: Ow. It hurts to laugh.

Luke: Guess we should get you healed up.

The three friends turned and saw the others walking up to them.

Viney: I got it.

Viney then draws a blue circle around Y/N. Once it was finished we saw tiny particles of it start to heal all of Y/N's wounds. Soon all of it was healed and Y/N slowly started to get up.

Y/N: *opens and closes his hands* Wow. Thanks Viney.

Viney: No problem. But I only healed you to the point where you can stand. Meaning don't try to push yourself too much.

Y/N: *scratches the back of his head* I won't.

King: *climbs up Y/N shoulder* You did great for your king Y/N!

Eda: *puts her hand on his shoulder* You did great kid.

Bump: Indeed Mr. Dragneel.

Everyone turns and sees Principle Bump walking towards Y/N.

Bump: It's been years since I seen such a battle.

Y/N: Thanks principle Bump.

Luke: I got to ask how did you know that the sun gave you an extra magic boost.

Y/N: Uhhh, well doing my training. Yea.

Luke:... You figured it out mid fight didn't you?

Y/N:... Maybe?

The others couldn't help but laugh from Y/N answer as Luke just facepalms. Y/N just scratches his head but then looks over to the beaten down Gajeel. He makes a serious look and looks over to Viney.

Y/N: Hey Viney could you do one more thing for me?

Viney raises her eyebrow at Y/N.

Viney: uhh what is it?

The screen starts to go black for a second but then it changes to Gajeel opening his eyes. He looks up and sees the sun. He was confused at first knowing full well he should be up because…. He then remembers what happened and quickly gets up on his feet. He regrets that once he felt a pain on his stomach. He holds his stomach with his right hand.

Viney: You shouldn't move so much.

Gajeel then looks up and sees not only Viney but everyone else looking at him.

Viney: I only healed you enough to be able to at least walk.

Gajeel: *glares at Viney: Why did you heal me?

Viney: I didn't want to *points to Y/N* He made me do it.

Gajeel turns and looks at Y/N who had smile on his face.

Y/N: *waves* Hey Gajeel.

Gajeel: *glares* Salamander. Why did you heal me?

Edric: *hiding behind Emira* Because unlike you he's a nice guy.

Gus: *hiding behind Luke* Yea.

Gajeel glares at them making them cowar. Luke and Emira just sigh.

Luke: But they are right though.

Y/N: *walks up to Gajeel* Look Gajeel I just wanted to say….. *smiles* That was a good fight. Let's do it again sometime.

It was silent until some wind blew past.

Everyone except for Luke: HUUUUUUUH!?

Luke: *facepalms* Why did I get the feeling he would say that?

Gajeel: What the hell are you going on about? Didn't you just say that you were mad that I hurt your friends!?

Y/N: *nods his head* Yea I did. But I let all the rage out, unlike others you were able to take it and still keep on kicking.

Gajeel just lets out a grunt.

Y/N: And besides, you're the only other dragon slayer I've met and know. Even being with other magic beings I still felt like I was alone.

Everyone started to look at Y/N.

Y/N: But then I saw you another one of my kind, *shrugs his shoulders* Sure you were and probably still are kinda of a jerk, but when we were fighting deep down you aren't that bad of a guy.

Gajeel's eyes widened for a bit but then went back to normal.

Y/N: So what do you say Gajeel? Want to join our friend group?

Jerbo: Uhh can we take a vote on that?

Gus: Second on that

Gajeel: Tch! *turns around and walks away* Like I want to join your idiotic friend group.

Gus: Like we needed you!

Y/N: Hey Gajeel! Let me know if you find any other dragon slayers!

Gajeel: *stops and turns around* And why the hell would I do that!?

Y/N: Because you and I are fellow dragon slayers!

The group just couldn't help but facepalm from Y/N craziness. Luz and Amity couldn't help but sigh and smile from it..

Gajeel: Screw you! Next time we fight I'll plant you six feet under! You'll be begging for mercy when I'm done with you!

Gajeel then dashes off leaving the group.

Y/N: Geez he didn't have to be so brutal.

Everyone just couldn't help but sigh from this.

One week later

We are shown the beast classroom with everyone talking. Even though the fight happened a week ago people were still talking about saying how awesome it was. Meanwhile Y/N was still recovering. He was trying to get Viney or Eda to heal him but they told him to let it heal on his own. It was his punishment for doing something crazy. Y/N was currently sitting down with his right arm bandaged up and his forehead bandaged up.

Y/N: *sigh*

Luke: Still healing huh?

Y/N: *looks up and sees Luz and Luke* Yea still going to be a minute til I'm fully healed.

Luz: Welp lucky it won't be too much longer.

Luke: *unimpressed* Yay.

Y/N: Why did you say it like that?

Luke: Because knowing you, you are going to do something crazy again.

Y/N was about to say something but just shut his mouth. Soon the bell starts to yell letting everyone know class is about to start. Everyone takes their seats as the teacher comes in sweating like crazy.

Teach: U-Uhhh h-hello student

Luz: *whisper to Luke and Y/N* Is it just me or is he more nervous than usual?

The two boys nodded their heads and continued to listen to the teacher.

Teach: *clears his throat* W-We have a new student joining us today. *looks over towards the door* P-Please come in.

The door opens and the new student starts to walk inside. Standing in front of them was Gajeel. As soon as he was in the middle of the classroom everyone immediately went wide- eyed as their mouth hangs open. The only person that didn't was Y/N as he smiles.

Teacher: I-Introducing: G-Gajeel Redfox also known as the Iron dragon slayer.

Gajeel just clicks his teeth and turns away while everyone but Y/N let out a loud:

Everyone: WHAT!?

BOOM!

And there you go The iron dragon slayer Gajeel has entered the story. He ended up winning his fight with Luz, but at what caused. Then he challenged Y/N to a fight and ended up losing. But our young slayer showed him mercy and healed him up. Now our Iron dragon friend is attending Hexside. What adventures await him next!?
