Remember back in the house of mirrors where Y/N and Lucia where? That one mirror where Y/N saw a different version of him and Lucia? What if I told you that was a different AU? An AU where events played out a little differently. How about we explore that little AU?
We are shown outside the building of the convention with our same owl house trio and Gus and Willow, except things were different.
?: So this is the so-called convention? *scoffs* This doesn't look like much.
One of the females of the group said. She had long bangs, a red beanie, a dark green jacket with a purple striped shirt, black pants, and red shoes. She was carrying a bat strapped behind her back. This ladies and gentlemen is Luz Noceda (a.k.a in this A.U. Lucia Noceda). This version of Lucia was more aggressive. She speaks her mind when she wants to and if anything annoys her she punches it.
?: I-I think it looks pretty cool.
Lucia turns her head and looks at one of her friends, Y/N Dragneel. He was wearing the similar outfit that the Y/N we know wear. The difference is that the jeans he was wearing were blue and he was wearing red pumas. This Y/N was much more different than ours. He's more nervous when he speaks and tends to rub on his arms a lot. He avoids eye contact and tends to stay quiet.
Lucia: *sighs* Of course you would think that.
?: Oh come on Lucia. Let Y/N enjoy it.
Both Y/N and Lucia turned and saw their other best friend, Luke martins (a.k.a in this A.U. Lucas Martins in this universe). Lucas had brown eyes and his hair was spiky black hair. This Lucas was wearing a Gray gildan shirt, with a teal blue hoodie. He wears dark blue jeans but instead of black air forces it was black pumas, no gloves on his hands. The one key difference of this Lucas is he was a lot more cheerful.
Lucia: *rolls her eyes* Whatever Martins.
Lucas just sighs and patted Y/N's back.
Lucas: Don't let what she said get to you.
Y/N: *smiles and looks away* T-Thanks Lucas.
The group walked into the convection and the same things played out as before. The only difference is Lucia wasn't excited as Lucia was in this universe. Sure she was impressed but not very excited. Y/N and Lucas on the other hand were impressed by everything, but soon disappointed when Eda told them about the one convent system.
Lucia: Called it.
Soon the three enter the convention with the same events playing out except when Willow was cheering for Gus when he got his face signed by the convent. She just pointed at him and smirked. When everyone started leaving Eda was about to head back home while the three were going to continue to watch the convention. Only problem is they had no idea what happened to King. Y/N and Lucas were freaking out but Lucia on the other head was just shaking her head.
Lucia: (Bebés) *squeeze in between her nose* Look instead of freaking out, let's split up and find him.
Both Lucas and Y/N nodded their heads as they all went to find King.
Y/N: King! King! Where are you bo-
Y/N ended up bumping into someone.
Y/N: O-Oh sorry abou-
Before Y/N could finish he ended up running into a familiar green haired girl: Amity Blight (a.k.a in this A.U. Amelia Blight). The difference between this Amity was that she had longer hair.
Amelia: What were you- *looks and glares at Y/N* You!
Y/N: *chuckles nervously* H-Hey A-Amelia. H-How goes?
Suddenly Y/N was grabbed by the collar and brought up to Amelia's face.
Amelia: Don't hey Amelia me you little abomination thing!
(In this A.U. instead of Luz being the abomination Y/N was, well more like forced to be one.)
Y/N: *scared* H-Heh. I-I-I can see that you're upset. *raises his hands in the air* B-B-But let me explain!
Amelia continues to glare at him while holding him by the collar.
Y/N: I-I'm not an abomination. I-I'm actually a human! Or more like half human.
Amelia: No shit. *pushes Y/N* Dumbass.
Y/N falls on the ground but slowly dusts himself off.
Y/N: (Geez I don't know who has more of a bad mouth: Her or Lucia.)
Amelia: *crosses her arms* What the hell are you doing here anyway?
Y/N: Oh well uh *rubs the back of his head* My friends and I were curious about the convention. (H-Hey a normal conversation. Maybe this will work out.)
Amelia: *raises her eyebrow* What for?
Y/N: O-Oh just to see which one we can be in.
Suddenly Amelia started to laugh. This kinda spooked Y/N due to how it souded.
Amelia: *whips a tear off her eye* You three? Please. Humans can't even do magic let alone be in a convent.
Y/N: *raises his finger* W-Well technically I-I'm half human the other part of me is half dragon.
Amelia: Oh right, the "Son of Igneel".
Y/N: Y-Yes? (Why did she do quotation marks?)
Amelia: Get really "Dragneel". Someone like you can never be related to someone that great.
Y/N: W-Well a failure can become a success if he puts his mind to it.
Amelia: *glares* Oh really?
This made Y/N start to sweat as he slowly became nervous. He became even more scared when Amelia started walking up to him.
Y/N: U-Uhh A-Ami-
Y/N was cut off from Amelia once again grabbing his collar with her left hand and pulling him towards her. She then summoned purple fire in her left hand making her right yellow eye glow even more sinister.
Amelia: *cold dead expression* Want to test that theory?
No matter what words Y/N try to come up with nothing would come out. He was scared, no, petrified to even find anything to say. Just then he heard his name getting called... Or more like the nickname Lucia gave him.
Lucia: Aye! Crybaby! Where the hell are you!?
Soon Y/N and Amelia heard footsteps approaching them. Y/N turned while Amelia looked up and saw Lucia walking up to them.
Lucia: Oh! There you... Are.
Lucia looked at the scene and saw Amelia holding Y/N up with fire in her hand. She also saw the look of fear in Y/N eyes, which was basically saying "Help me!" But instead of getting mad Lucia made a teasing smirk.
Lucia: Woooow! Look at you! Seems the crybaby was able to find a girl to keep him in check after all.
Y/N: *blushes* (NOT HELPING Lucia!)
Lucia: *looks at Amelia* Damn Blight. Didn't know you liked weak boys.
Amelia: *glares at Lucia* Like hell I do.
Amelia then throws Y/N at Lucia. Now a normal friend would have catched him but...
Y/N: *lands on the ground* Ow.
She didn't catch him. Y/N ended up landing face first on the ground.
Lucia: *looks at Y/N* Ehh trust me man. You're not missing much on little miss perfect over there.
Amelia: *eye starts to twitch* What the hell did you just call me?
Y/N: *ruffle gets up* U-U-Uhh Lucia maybe-
Lucia: *holds up her hand* Oh what's wrong, Blight? You to dumb you can't hear?
This made Amelia even more upset as she started to gain a tick mark.
Lucia: *walks up to Amelia* Let me get nice and close so you can hear. Little. *stops in front of her* Miss. *gets in her face and whispers* Perfect.
Amelia glares daggers at Lucia as the ladder glares with a smirk on her face.
Lucas: Guys I found King! *holds him up* He was at the cupcake convent!
King: I was so close to breaking a new record!
Lucas notices Amelia and Lucia.
Lucas: What the Amelia!? *looks at Y/N* Y/N what's-
When he sees how Y/N turns to him with a scared expression as he slowly shakes his head. Pretty much telling him: "You don't want to know."
Lucas: R-Right. Got it.
Amelia: *grabs Lucia* Listen here Noceda. Take. It. Back. Right. Now.
Lucia: Psh! Or what Blight.
Suddenly Lucia felt something hot to her right. She looked over and saw Amelia holding up a purple fireball.
Amelia: Or that little face of yours is going to get burned. *smiles* But for you that could be an improvement.
Even though Lucia wasn't fazed by it on the outside, on the inside she was a little scared. Amelia did have the magic advantage over her.
Y/N: *cuts in between them* H-Hold on a second!
Both Lucia and Amelia looked over and saw Y/N was his hands up.
Lucas: *whispers* Y/N! Noo!
King: *whispers* Ooooh he's going to die.
Y/N: *walks up to them* T-There's no need for violence. H-How about instead we just talk to each other. O-Ok?
Both Amelia and Lucia turned back and looked at each other and glared at one another. Amelia put out her fire and shoved Lucia and started to walk away.
Amelia: tch! Whatever. You people aren't worth my time.
Y/N just breathed out. It wasn't the result he wanted but it was an ok one... That is.
Lucia: Awww. And why's that Blight? Scared of a fight?
Y/N/Lucas: *panics* (Lucia! NO!)
Amelia: *stops walking* What was that?
Y/N: *gets in front of Lucia* S-S-She didn't say anything.
Lucia: Oh I did. I said little miss perfect here is scared of getting her sorry ass whumped.
Y/N: *straight panic face* Luuuuuuz.
Suddenly Y/N felt a death glare behind him. He slowly turned around and his whole face went pale. Like the old saying goes if looks could kill, welp Y/N would be dead for sure. Amelia had a straight pissed off look.
Amelia: Is that a fact Noceda? You know what, fine. If I get to beat your sorry ass.
Lucia: Oh you won't be fighting me.
Amelia: *raises an eyebrow* Oh scared to fight now?
Lucia: *shurgs her shoulder* Nah I think it would be more fun if *grabs Y/N by the shoulders and points with her free hand* if this crybaby beats you.
Y/N: *eyes widen* S-S-SAY WHAAAAAA!?
Lucas: Wait what!?
King: Oooohhh boy. This won't end well.
Amelia just started at Lucia then back at Y/N, making him flinch, then back at Lucia. There was a moment of silence unti; Amelia started to burst out into a laughing fit. This went on for a while until she finally calmed down.
Amelia: *wipes a tear out her eye* Man I didn't know you humans were so good at telling jokes.
Y/N: *chuckles nervously* Y-Yep that's Lucia for yea.
Lucia: And who said I was joking?
Amelia: Psh. Come on Noceda. *points to Y/N* This crybaby. I can beat him in my sleep.
Y/N: *Lifts his finger* I-I-I won't even argue with that one.
Lucia: Well if it's so easy then why don't you fight him? *fake gasp* Unless your really scared of getting beat. *yells* Hear that everyone!
Lucas: Lucia what are you-
Lucia: *yells* The big star in Hexside academy is scared of getting her ass kick by this crybaby!
Y/N: (WHY ME!?)
Everyone started to look and started to mumble and laugh
"Wow the greats
Hearing all this Amelia's eyes started to twitch as a vein was shown on her forehead. Suddenly a giant abomination formed above her letting out a terrifying groan. This caused the whole crowd to get scared.
Amelia: *turns her head to the crowned* Do you people want to try me?
Everyone went quiet and stopped talking. Amelia then turned back to Lucia and the others. Lucia was sweating a bit, Lucas and KIng were shocked, and Y/N was freaking out. Amelia then started walking up until she was face to face with a scared Y/N. Amelia then drew a circle and put her hand through it waiting for Y/N to take it.
Amelia: You, me, one hour, theater.
Y/N: C-Can we do-
Suddenly Y/N felt someone grab his hand making him shake it and saw it was Lucia. Lucia just nodded her head as Y/N was freaking out. Then he was in pain when he felt Amelia's grip tightening on his hand.
Amelia: Once I win you and your friends leave here and never step foot in the boiling Isle again.
Y/N was going to say something but Lucia beat him to the punch.
Lucia: Fine by us. But once Y/N win's you're going to have to go around saying "I'm Amelia Blight and I'm a stuck up bitch."
Amelia then glared at Lucia causing her to sweat a bit.
Amelia: Don't push your luck Noceda *starts to walk away* I can't wait to mop the floor with you Dragneel.
Soon Amelia was out of sight and Y/N immediately fell on his knees breathing heavily.
Lucia: *puts her hands in her pockets* Well that could have gone better.
Y/N: *looks at Lucia* WHAT DID YOU JUST MAKE ME DO!?
Lucia: Hey! You didn't stutter that time.
Y/N: THIS IS NO TIME FOR GAMES Lucia! *gets up and looks at Lucia* WHY DID YOU MAKE ME FIGHT HER!?
Lucia: *pats his shoulder* Aww come on man. You can do this.
Lucas: *walks up beside Y/N* Lucia, don't you think that was a bad idea?
Lucia: Why was it a bad idea?
Y/N: BECAUSE I'M NOT A FIGHTER! I-I-I NEVER FOUGHT BEFORE!
Lucia: Oh great, the studder is back.
Y/N/Lucas: Lucia!
Lucia: *holds her hands up* Ok! Ok! *sigh* Look Y/N. Me and Lucas can't protect you forever. Sometimes you need to learn when to fight for yourself, you know?
There was a moment of silence until.
Y/N: BUT I NEVER ASK FOR THIS!
Lucia: Sometimes fights happen.
Lucas: Lucia this was a fight you caused. There is a difference between starting a fight and someone starting it for you.
Lucia: Ok *looks to the side* Maaaaybe I wanted to put that Blight in her face.
Both Y/N and Lucas just facepalm when they heard Lucia say that.
Lucia: But really though *looks at Y/N* You're much stronger than you think. *pokes his chest* Just be more confident in yourself.
Y/N looks at Lucia but then looks down.
Y/N: B-But
Lucas: *puts his hand on his shoulder* Even though I don't agree with Lucia's methods, I think you can do it.
Y/N looks at Lucas and smiled a bit until
King: Oh no he is going to get creamed.
Lucia gave King a death glare that forced him to shut up. Whatever confidence Y/N had was now fully gone.
Soon the scene cuts. The group found Eda so she could help him fight Amelia. Doing so they meet her sister: Lilith Clawthorne. They found out that Amelia was Lilith student making things even more nerve racking for Y/N. Once Lilith found out about the fight she started belittling Y/N making him even less confident. This set Eda off as she told her sister that he would win. Lilith agreed to this and let Eda be able to stay so she wouldn't get thrown in jail. The scene cuts again to Eda training Y/N... Which went completely south as Y/N kept up curling into a ball and holding himself. Everyone looked at each other and sweat nervously. They then overheard Amelia training with Lilith and saw her summoning a huge Abomination crushing stands scaring everyone. Amelia then turned toward the group and brought her thumb up and slashed it around her neck telling Y/N he's dead. Y/N's face went pale as he was scared for dear life.
The scene changes to the fight and everyone was at the stance watching with Eda and Y/N on the ground and Amelia and Lilith across from them. Y/N asked Eda if he got this and Eda was trying her best to encourage him... but told him no. Y/N just sighed as he heard the bell and walked up to the center. Amelia was cracking her knuckles while Y/N was panicking. But Y/N was trying to think positive as much as he could.
Y/N: (M-Maybe it won't be so bad)
... Sadly that wasn't true. Not even close. Cause not even 5 minutes: Y/N was currently bleeding from all over being held up by Amelia's abomination as it was crushing the life out of him. Everyone that was watching wasn't even surprised.
"Damn.."
"I know right."
"I would have thought he would last longer."
Willow: Esh. Talk about one sided.
Gus: Agreed.
Lucia and Lucas on the other hand.
Lucas: *worried* Y/N.
Amelia: Geez I knew this would be easy, but this was just sad. And you call yourself a dragon slayer.
Everyone heard this and started to laugh.
"HAHAHAH! A dragon slayer!"
"You can't be serious!?"
"More like: Dragon wimp!"
Lucia looked at everyone with an angry look. Meanwhile Y/N was lost in his thoughts.
Y/N: (W-Why? Why me? I never wanted to do this.) *Starts to tear up* (Why do things keep happening like this?)
?: Maybe if you start trying.
A voice was heard. Suddenly everything went dark as Y/N was in a dark void on his knees.
?: Why do you continue to let others belittle you? Why do you continue to act like you're weak?
Y/N: Cause I am weak.
?: Is that what you keep telling yourself?
Y/N: *shakes his head* No, because it's true.
?: Oh really?
Y/N: Yes! I don't like fighting! I hate fighting! I'm not a fighter! I'm a pacifist!
There was a brief silents.
?: Pathetic.
Y/N: Something I already know.
?: Oh I know alright. I know that you hate being call...
Suddenly voices started to echo into the void.
"Weakling."
"Whimp."
"Pitiful."
Y/N just covered his ears as tears started to fall from his eyes.
?: Be honest with yourself for once. You hate what they call you. You hate being weak. You hate everything.
Y/N: No. No. I-I don't-
?: You can keep lying to yourself all you want. But deep down you really want to. You want to show them what you're really made of.
Y/N: N-No I don't! I-I-
?: Just look.
Suddenly a bright light showed everyone laughing at Y/N. He saw Amelia smirking at him and finally it showed his friends their reaction: Willow looked away in shame, Gus just shook his head, Lucas was giving him a look of pity, and finally... Lucia. Lucia just sighed as she looked away. Y/N eyes widen.
?: Even your so-called friends see you as weak. They say they care but in reality they don't. But you have the power to prove them wrong. Right here right now let's show them true power.
Y/N didn't say anything. Slowly fire started to surround Y/N. Coming from his legs up to his head.
Y/N: ... I... Don't care anymore.
Back at the outside world, Amelia continues to smirk.
Amelia: So ready to call it drag-
Suddenly a loud heartbeat echoed through the whole arena. Everyone that was laughing stopped and looked.
Lucas: Uhh what was-
Before Lucas could say anything else a bright flame erupted from the Abominations hands, burning them off. This shocked Amelia.
Amelia: W-What!?
Suddenly something fell on the ground hard creating a lot of dust. Everyone had to cover their eyes from the force. Soon the dust started to settle to reveal Y/N, however he was different. Fire surrounded him and his hair was covering his eyes. But what was really noticable is that the fire slowly started to get darker and darker red and his right hand started to change into a dragon's claw.
Gus: Y-Y/N?
Willow: What happened to him?
Lucia: *pumps her fist* Hell yea! That's what I'm talking about! *looks at Lucas* See Martins, he's got this!
Lucas didn't say anything as he continued to look at Y/N. There was something he noticed about Y/N... His magic was different, it was more sinister.
Lucas: *worried* Y/N.
Amelia: What the hell!? When could you do that!? And what the hell is with those flames!?
Y/N didn't say anything as he continued to look down.
Amelia: What? Not going to say anything.
Y/N slowly started to lift his head and what Amelia saw made her freeze in fear. Y/N's eyes were soulless. There was no emotion on his face.
Y/N: I've had enough.
Suddenly his fire started to morph into a dragon as it let out a loud roar that shock the whole arena. Everyone had to cover their ears from how loud it was. Soon the roar died down and everyone looked at Y/N.
Y/N: No more.
Lucas: *eyes widen* T-That's not Y/N.
Y/N then slowly started to walk towards Amelia. Every step he took would leave a scorch mark on the ground, shocking everyone.
Amelia: D-Don't think just because you summon fire means anything! You're still just a weakling! Abomination Seize!
The abomination brought his hand up and brought it down with quick speed, but Y/N just simply caught it with his right hand without looking.
Y/N: Burn.
Suddenly fire covered the whole abomination as it slowly started to burn it away the abomination groaned in pain and slowly burned to ashes. Amelia looked at the scene in utter shock and fear.
Amelia: B-But H-How!?
Y/N didn't say anything and slowly started to walk to Amelia as she took a step back. Amelia then drew another spell circle as multiple once appeared around Y/N. A total of 7 abominations were around Y/N as he just stood there.
Amelia: Lets see you handle this!
All the abomination jumped and piled on Y/N. Everyone watched and were shocked.
Amelia: *breathes heavily* How did you like that!?
Slowly everyone started to hear yelling. At first it was muffled but then it got louder and louder until. A dark flame erupted from the abomination pile. All the abominations were covered in fire and sent flying into different directions. Crashing into the ground, ceiling, and wall. Y/N continued to yell as the dragon roared, crashing and shattering the ceiling, sending fire around the stadium.
"Everyone run!""
Everyone started running as fire spread around the arena. Rocks and rubble fell into the arena, almost hitting people. Lucia and the others were able to avoid it but was scared around the stadium. Lucas was on the ground as he slowly started to get up.
Lucas: *groans* Guys! Where are you!?
Willow: *off screen* Over here!
Lucas looked and saw Willow that was able to summon a vine to keep her and Gus safe. Lucas ran up to them and moved all the rubble around them.
Lucas: Are you two ok!?
Gus: *groans* More or less. Thanks Willow.
Willow: No problem.
The group looked around and saw nothing but fire and rubble all over what used to be a nice stadium.
Lucas: Y/N. Wait, where is Lucia?
Gus: *points* Up there!
They turned and saw Lucia on one of the stands as she looked down at the stadium. The others ran up to her.
Willow: Lucia we have to-
Willow and the others looked down and saw Y/N and the center of the arena with fire still surrounding him as he kept looking ahead. What they all noticed was Y/N eyes were no longer soulless instead they were bloody red with a black silt.
Gus: W-Whoa. What's happened to him?
Lucia didn't say anything as she continued to stare at Y/N. At first she was happy that he was fighting back. But it was the way that he was fighting that was worrying her. It was more so he wanted to destroy everything.
Lucia: *worried* Y/N.
Suddenly fire fell from the sky and was heading for Lucia.
Group: Lucia!
Lucia looked up and was hit by it. But instead of burning her she started to hear a familiar voice that echoed.
Y/N: Hate. Hate them. Pay. I'll make them pay. Burn. Kill. Kill them all.
Lucia's eyes widen as she hears everything. Just then she saw Y/N in the form of fire as he stared at her. Y/N had a single dragon's wing and his right eye was red with a black slit in the middle. All Lucia could see was hatred from that eye.
Lucia: Y-Y/N?
Y/N: I'll burn it all.
Lucia's eyes widened as the crybaby Y/N she once knew was gone. What she was seeing right now was all the builded up rage Y/N had now released with only one thing to do: Burn everything. Soon she felt something tugged on her arm pulling her out off the fire. She was roughly brought to the ground. She looked down and saw Willow had used her plant magic to get her out the fire.
Lucas: Lucia! Are you ok!?
Lucia didn't say anything as she breathed heavily and looked over to Y/N and saw him standing there.
Y/N was looking at a pile of rubble. He then saw it move and someone pushed it off them. It was Amelia that was covered in dirt, cuts, and bruises. She was breathing heavily.
Y/N: Took you long enough.
Amelia looked up at Y/N and saw the rage in his eyes.
Y/N: I was about to pull you out.
Amelia: *holding her left arm* You! What the hell are you!?
Y/N: *shakes his head* It does matter what I am. All you need to know *eyes glow dark red* Is your going to die.
Amelia's whole body shakes with fear after Y/N said that. Y/N then slowly started walking towards her as the young Blight started walking backwards.
Amelia: S-Stay back!
Y/N didn't listen as he kept walking towards her.
Amelia: I-I said *draws a spell circle* STAY BACK!
An abomination toward above Y/N as it transformed his hands into blades and tried to cut Y/N. But Y/N just summoned fire in his right hand and punched the abomination ripping off its top half sending it flying into the ceiling. It crashed into the sky as it slowly began to burn away. Then the other half started to burn into ashes as Amelia watched it shock and fear.
Y/N: For such a powerful witch, you love to summon such weak creatures.
Y/N then started to walk towards Amelia again making her take another step back. However she ended up tripping over a rock. She tries crawling away but her back ended up bumping into a wall.
Amelia: S-Stay away from me! Y-You-
Y/N: What? *stops in front of Amelia* Freak? Monster? Heh. All words I'm already used to.
Y/N picked Amelia up from her neck and brought her up to eye level as he was choking her. Amelia tried to grab his arm but ended up getting her hand burnt as she quickly let go.
Y/N: I hate people like you. Always looking down on weak people like me.
Y/N then started to apply more pressure on Amelia's neck making her wince in pain Amelia couldn't think of anything to get her out of this.
Y/N: Now I'm going to give you a taste of your own medicine.
Amelia: *struggling*...Please...*tears start to fall*...Stop...I-I
Y/N: What? Sorry? No. It's way too late for that. I'm going to slowly torture you just like you did to me and countless others. Then I'm going to burn you and this whole land down to the ground.
Y/N continued to chock the life out of Amelia as she was letting out a scream as tears continued to fall.
Lucas: Y/N Stop!
Y/N stopped what he was doing but didn't bother turning around.
Y/N: Stay out of this Lucas.
Lucas: Y/N. Please she had enough. You've won, it's over.
Y/N: Over?
Y/N drops Amelia, as she holds her neck coughing up a storm.
Y/N: NONE OF THIS IS OVER!
Suddenly dark fire started to surround Y/N as he started yelling.
Y/N: Time and time again I was made fun of, beatin up,and mocked! The one time I do it to someone else it's seen as wrong!
Lucas: Y/N.
Y/N: WHY!? WHY WHEN WEAK PEOPLE LIKE ME FINALLY STAND UP FOR OURSELVES IT'S SEEN AS WRONG!? TELL ME WHY!
Again the dragon let out a loud screech pushing dust all over the place. Lucas and Amelia had to shield their eyes from the force.
Lucas: Y/N I get it your angry your-
Y/N: NO YOU DON'T! *voice cracks with tears falling down* NO ONE KNOWS WHAT KIND OF PAIN I HAD TO GO THROUGH! But I'll show them. I'll show them all my pain. That I'm not weak.
Lucas: Y/N. I never thought you were weak.
Y/N: *turns around* Lies. Both you and Lucia think I am. You both never truly cared about me.
Lucas: Is that what you really think?
Y/N just stares at Lucas.
Lucas: Then tell that to the girl crying behind me.
Lucas steps to the side to show Lucia looking at him with tears in her eyes. This shocked Y/N as his eyes widened. Never in his life has he seen Lucia cry. Sure he's seen her sad but never cry. Lucia started walking up to him. Y/N thought she was going to belittle him like she always did. Call him crybaby or whimp, but instead she hugged him and buried her face in his chest.
Lucia: *crying* I-I'm sorry Lo siento mucho. Por favor. Deténgase.
Whenever Lucia would speak Spanish it was always out of anger or when she talked with her mother. This was the first time she had ever spoken with such sadness in her voice. Slowly the fire around the stage and Y/N started to disappear and Y/N eyes returned back to normal. He then fell down as Lucia caught him.
Lucia: Y/N!
His name. That was the first time she had ever said his actual name.
Y/N: L-Lucia?
Lucia: Y-Yes it's me! I-I-I'm sorry! I-I'm so so sorry! I should have never-
Y/N: Heh. Look who's stuttering now.
Lucia had a blush on her face as she smacked Y/N in the head.
Y/N: Ow.
Lucia: *blushing* Jerk! *hugs him* Don't ruin the moment.
Lucas walked up to the two as they did a group hug.
Y/N: G-Guys. I-I'm
Lucas: Don't. It's fine don't say anything.
Y/N just smiles weakly as tears start to fall from his eyes as he weakly hugs his friends. Amelia watches the scene as she remembers when she and Willow used to do that back in the old days. Speaking of, she looked around and saw Willow looking at the friends with a smile. She noticed Amelia staring at her as she turned and looked. The two former friends exchanged glances and then looked away from one another. Soon Lucia put Y/N over her shoulder.
Lucia: Guess we should head back huh?
Lucas: Yea. Hey where's Eda?
Eda: *groans off screen* Over here.
The group turns and sees Eda getting out a pile of rubble thanks to the help of King... Well he tried to help.
Lucas: Eda! Are you ok!?
Eda: *walks up to the friends in pain* What do you think, kid? *cracks her back* Agh! Soon as the fire and ruble fall I tried activating a barrier but it ended up breaking and I was trapped in well *gestured to the ruble* that.
Lucia: So much for the great owl lady.
King: Right?
Eda: Oh shut it, squirt and cry baby.
Lucia/King: *blushes* I wasn't crying!/I ain't a squirt!
The group minus Lucia and King shared a laugh.
Lucas: *sigh* I guess we should pack up and head home.
Lucia: *sigh* Yea.
Amelia: Wait!
Everyone turns and sees Amelia standing, well barley, as she walks up to the group. She stares at them and then turns at Y/N, who had a tired look on his face.
Amelia: *sigh* It's obvious that you beat me, but it seems like you didn't want to win like that.
Eda: Hey a win is-
Lucas covers Eda's mouth and shakes his head.
Amelia: As a Blight it would hurt my pride if I accept defeat from an... outsider.
Lucia: *rolls her eyes* Orgullosa mucho.
Y/N: Lucia.
Amelia: But it would also hurt my pride if I don't honor your decision.
This made the group confused. Amelia draws a circle and puts her hand through it as she grabs Y/N's hand.
Amelia: The oath is unbound.
Amelia lets go of his hand.
Lucia: So what I'm hearing is: We can stay.
Lucas: Yeaa!
Eda: *weakly* Greeeeaaaat.
Amelia watched as the group cheered and started to walk away. Y/N noticed and called out to her.
Y/N: Hey Amelia.
Amelia stops and turns to him.
Y/N: Sorry about what happened before. I didn't mean to hurt you.
Amelia: Hmph. Whatever dragneel. I don't need your pity.
Y/N: It's not pity. You're strong. One of the strongest witches I know.
Eda: Ahem!
Y/N: *sweats nervously* O-Ok. Maybe the second strongest.
Eda: Thank you.
Lucia: (Ok two prideful people)
Y/N: So don't let this one lost get you down. Take it from someone like me because.
The sunlight from the ceiling shines down on Y/N and Lucia.
Y/N: You can do it two cause unlike me you weren't born a failure.
Amelia just stared at him for a moment and looked at him in shock.
Lucia: *long sigh* Honestly, when are you ever going to stop putting yourself down like that.
Y/N: *Chuckles nervously* W-Well it's true.
The group started to walk away as they kept talking.
Lucas: Seriously Y/N we need to walk on your confidence.
Eda: I have a potion that can help with that. Downside is it will give him a big ego.
Lucia: Anything will be better than his current self.
Y/N: H-Hey! Rude!
The group minus Y/N started laughing.
Amelia watches the group walk away as she looks to the side. She then heard rumbling and turned to see her teacher getting out of the rocks.
Amelia: Miss Lilth!
Amelia ran up to her teacher as Lilith was groaning in pain.
Lilith: *groan* W-What happe- *remember* The dragon boy! Where-
Amelia: They left miss.
Lilith: Oh. Wait the match -
Amelia: It was a draw ma'am.
Lilith: Oh I see. Very well then.
Lilith started to walk away but stopped and held her side in pain.
Amelia: Miss Lilith!
Lilith: I'm fine *sighs* I just need to go lay down. *looks back at Amelia* Continue your training.
Amelia: *bows her head* Yes ma'am.
Lilith walks away leaving Amelia by herself. She lets out a tired sigh as she starts making her way back home.
At the owl house
Y/N: Ow ow ow! Too tight!
Lucia: Hold still!
Right now Y/N and Lucia were in his and Lucas's room. Lucia was currently putting bandages on Y/N arms, legs and forehead.
Lucia: Seriously how did you receive burns from your own fire? It's literally yours.
Y/N: *chuckles nervously* I-I really don't know.
Lucia lets out a sigh as she finishes bandaging him up.
Lucia: There. Eda is working on a healing potion for you, so you should be back to normal by tomorrow.
Y/N: Hehe. Thanks.
There was a moment until Lucia started to speak.
Lucia: Y-Y/N. what happened back at the arean-
Y/N: Lucia it's fine.
Lucia: *shakes her head* No it's not. I *sigh* I just wanted to make you stronger. I know deep down you're stronger than you say you are. *looks down sadly* But I never took your feelings into consideration. *starts to tear up* I'm sorry for everything.
Y/N: Lucia.
Y/N stares at her for a bit but then smiles and pats her head.
Y/N: Hey I know you were trying to help. Granted it was a terrible way to, but I knew you meant well. Maybe there is a fighter in me somewhere, and maybe it will come out. But for now let's just wait til then. Ok?
Lucia looks up at him and smiles.
Lucia: *puts her hand on top of his* Yea. But promise you'll stop putting yourself down.
Y/N: Ok I will.
Lucia and Y/N smiled as they stared at each other. Soon they realized that and turned away blushing.
Y/N: W-Well it's getting late. We should get some sleep.
Lucia: *blushes* A-Actually I'll sleep here.
Y/N: *blushes bright red* HUUUUHH!?
Lucia: W-Well just in case I have to change your bandates.
Back with Amelia
Amelia was sitting on her bed hugging her knees as she started to recall the event from before. She started to remember the words Y/N told her
Y/N: I hate people like you. Always looking down on weak people like me.
Amelia starts to recall all the times she's put down other witches and wizards. All the times she called them weak and useless. She starts to squeeze her legs together hating herself for all the things she's called them.
Amelia: (I guess... I'm really just a bully huh.)
But then she starts to hear Y/N's voice.
Y/N: It's not too late.
Amelia turns and looks at the night sky as she remembers Y/N's words.
Y/N: You can do it two cause unlike me you weren't born a failure.
Amelia just looks up into the night sky and smiles a bit as a little blush appears on her face.
Amelia: Noceda is right... You should stop putting yourself down like that.

This was a little something I've been thinking about. I always loved the Beta version of the Owl House and was like I wonder what Y/N and Luke would be with in that A.U. So here we go:
Lucas Martins he is the polar opposite of Luke. He is more joyful and helpful. He cares deeply for his friends and tells them everyday. His first magic he learns was light magic which he learned from wanting to protected his friends but later on he finds out he has bits of black blood in him and finds out about the demon inside him. Lucas hates to fight but will if necessary for his friends never for himself.
Y/N Dragneel: In this A.U. Y/N is a shy and quiet kid. He wants to make friends but it's hard due to him being known as a coward. He hates violence and considers himself a pacifist. For that he is always bullied even from people who is seen weaker then him. But as shown he has a dark power within him that pushed to the limit while unleashed and destroy everything in it's past. In a way this "thing" in him is all the build in anger and sadness he keeps locked away.
This is kind of my idea for the two of them maybe I'll continue this A.U in another book. In the mean time I'm working on the actual chapter and I'll try to get it to you guys soon.
