29. Chapter 23: That Fateful Day

Years ago

It was a few years ago when I went to the human world. I was still struggling on how to adjust to human life.

Zack was seen walking into a clothing store. He tried on many outfits, some looking good on him and other's... Not so much. Soon he had a bag with a lot of clothes in there. He went up to the front desk and set them down there. The clerk showed him the price of how much he had to pay. Zack smiled and held up a bag filled with a bunch of rats. The lady gave him an odd look as Zack continued to give her an innocent smile. The scene then cuts to Zack walking with a pout on his face.

Let's just say it was hard. Anyway as I was getting the hang of it I ended up meeting Y/N at an orphanage. I took him in and we explored the world together for a bit. And our living happens where...

The scene cuts to Y/N and Zack sleeping in the woods. Zack had his head back leaning against a tree. Y/N however was having trouble getting comfortable, as the young dragon slayer was laying on a rock.

...Was ok.

It wasn't until Y/N befriended Luke and Sally that things got better. Oh boy I remember Mrs. Martins giving me a scolding on how to properly raise a child. It was thanks to her and them that we were able to get a place.

The scene shows both Zack and Y/N staring at a cabin in the woods. It was a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin with old-style plumbing. Zack had a proud smile as Y/N couldn't help but smile with joy. He goes over and hugs Zack tightly with tears coming down from his eyes. Zack just chuckled as he patted the little Y/N's head.

Things were looking great for us... Until...

We cut to the human world, deep in the woods. A young Y/N was walking in an open area. He stops and looks up at the sky. He couldn't help but enjoy the beautiful blue sky, the wind blowing on the trees and the beautiful sounds of birds chirping. He couldn't help but smile from the beautiful scenery.

Y/N: *enjoying the breeze of the wind* So nice...

?: *offscreen* AMBUSH!

Y/N eyes slightly widened for a bit until he made a deadpan look. He jumped to the left avoiding someone attacking him. His attacker ended up hitting the ground and started tumbling on the ground. He ended up hitting a nearby tree as a loud thud was heard.

Y/N: *sweat drop as he stares at his attacker* Really Zack?

Yep his attacker was his adopted father/teacher, Zack Strife.

Zack: *groans while seeing stars* _ Uggghhh... Well done my student, you manage to pinpoint my location by sound.

Y/N: (I feel like you're just making an excuse for hurting yourself.)

Zack gets up from the ground and shakes his head to clear the stars around his head. He looks over at Y/N with a smile. Y/N sighs but smiles at his teacher. Even though he acts silly at times he couldn't help but love those moments.

Zack: *digs in his pocket* Noooowww... *throws an object* THINK FAST!

Y/N sees the object coming at him and quickly catches it with his hand.

Y/N: *looks at the object confused* A pinecone? *looks up at Zack* Why do you have... !

Y/N sees Zack in front of him with his fist raised in the air. He quickly moves to the left avoiding a punch to the fast. Y/N slides on the ground and looks up at Zack.

Zack: Hahaha! Nice one! Not only did you catch my long ranch attack, but was able to avoid my close range attack!

Y/N: (Still, why did you have a pinecone in your pocket?)

Zack: Now then *takes a fighting stance* Come at me!

Y/N nods his head and rushes at Zack. He tries to punch Zack in the face, but the soldier avoids it by pushing Y/N's arm to the left with his own. Zack then goes for a punch at Y/N but the young dragon slayer quickly catches it with his hand. The two smiled at one another enjoying their little sparring session. Y/N then goes for a kick to Zack's chin but Zack moves his neck up avoiding it. Zack jumped back and created some distances. He then charged at Y/N as Y/N did the same. The two continued their session as the sun slowly started to set.

Y/N was on the ground panting heavily as Zack was standing above him with his arms crossed.

Zack: Not bad Y/N. Your getting better *walks in front of him* Still though your foot work still needs work. You also leave yourself opening a couple of times.

Y/N: *pants* Thanks...

Zack just chuckles and holds his hand out to Y/N. Y/N looks at his hand, smiles, and takes it. Zack helped Y/N up and rubbed his head making Y/N smile.

Zack: Don't worry, you'll get there soon.

The young dragon slayer always loved these little moments with his teacher. The two looked up into the distance and stared at the sunsetting.

Zack: *enjoys the wind* Ahh~ The nice breeze and the sunsetting is always the best.

Y/N: Yea it i- *realizes something* OH CRAP!

Zack: *looks at Y/N shocked* W-What!? What is it?

Y/N: *grabs his head in a panic* I forgot! I promised Sally and Luke we would all watch the sunset together! *starts to run off* Sorry, got to Zack!

Zack: *waves and yells* Stay safe! And make sure to be back before dark!

Y/N: *offscreen* No promises!

Zack just chuckles from his reaction. He always knew Y/N had trouble always coming home at times.

Zack: Just like a wild witch I know. *thinks for a second* Or maybe someone else. Welp *stretches* What should I do now? *sighs* I could always train some more, or I could go out in town, or maybe look up at the sky... Alone... I really need to stop talking to myself... Out loud.

Cuts to Y/N

Y/N was seen running in the forest. He was running fast since he was late. The young dragon slayer had promised both Luke and Sally that they would watch the sunset together. Since he was busy training with Zack, he lost track of time and was running as fast as he possibly could.

Y/N: *running and pants* I hope... They're still... there!

Soon Y/N made it to a clearing. He stops and slowly starts to catch his breath. He sees a young Luke sitting down on the edge and staring at the sunset.

Y/N: *smiles* Luke. *runs towards him while waving his arm* Hey Luke!

Luke turns and looks at him, and before he could respond.

Sally: *appears in front of him with a smile* Hey Y/N!

Y/N: *dramatically falls* Ack!

Sally suddenly had appeared in front of Y/N causing him to fall on his backside. How he didn't notice her was a mystery. The young dragon slayer lets out a groan of pain as Luke sighed and walked towards the two.

Luke: *looks at Sally* Why did you talk me into doing that?

Sally: *giggles* Cause it was fun.

Y/N: *groans* Ugghhh not for me..

Sally: *giggles and holds her hand out* Sorry Y/N.

Y/N takes Sally's hand as the older Martins girl helped him up.

Y/N: Thanks *sees Sally's pouting face* W-What is it?

Sally: *pouts* You promised you wouldn't be late this time.

Y/N: *Starts to panic* S-Sorry Sal. *rubs his head* I-I just lost track of time.

Luke: Let me guess, training with Zack again?

Y/N: *shocked* How did-

Luke: *points to his clothes* You're covered in dirt.

Y/N looked down at his clothes and saw a whole bunch of dirt all over him.

Y/N: Oh...

Sally: *crosses her arms still pouting* Geez, all you do is train all day.

Y/N: *puts his hands into a prayer* Please forgive me Sal. I'll do anything, just don't be mad.

Luke: (Please word that better.)

Sally: *smiles* Weeelll~ There is one thing you can do~

Luke: *feels very uncomfortable* (W-Why did you have to say it like that?)

Y/N: *lightly blushes* A-And that is?

Sally: *gently takes his hand* Watch the sunset with us.

Y/N: O-Oh y-yea right.

Sally: *sly smile* What were you thinking Y/N?~

Y/N: *blushes bright red* NOTHING!

Sally just giggles from Y/N's reaction while the young dragon slayer blushes. She always teases him like this.

Luke: *sighs* Can we just watch the sunset already?

The two nodded their heads as the three friends sat down and watched the sunset. It was one of their favorite things to enjoy. The sound of the birds flying around the sun, the ocean waves crashing onto the land, and just being around each other in general.

Sally: *sighs happily* It's moments like these that I enjoy.

Luke: *small smile* Yea.

Y/N: *smile* Same here.

There was a moment of silence for a bit until Y/N started to speak.

Y/N: You guys think this will last forever?

Luke: Pretty sure the sun has to go down at some point.

Y/N: *shakes his head* Not the sunset. I mean this.

Sally: *looks at him confused* What do you mean?

Y/N: *looks down sadly* I mean... Someday we all are going to grow up and maybe live on our own... We probably won't see each other anymore... Will we still be friends?

Suddenly Y/N was hit in the back of the head by Sally.

Y/N: Ow!

Luke: If she wasn't going to do it, then I was.

Sally: I can't believe you just said that! Of course we will still be friends! Even if we are millions of worlds apart, or even meet different people, no matter where we are or who we meet, the three of us will always be best friends!

Y/N: *looks at her shocked* Sally.

Luke: As long as we remember each other, we'll always be together.

Y/N looked at Luke and couldn't help but smile.

Luke: Of course I always have trouble forgetting you.

Y/N: *offended* Hey!

Sally couldn't help but giggle as Luke chuckled. Y/N pouted for a bit but slowly started to smile and laugh with his friends. The three turned their attention back to the sunset as they watched it slowly going down. Sally rested her head on Y/N's shoulder, making the young dragon slayer blush a bit but smiled.

With Zack

Zack was currently walking around town. He had his hands behind his head as he was thinking... Out loud.

Zack: *sighs deeply* I've been on earth for a couple of years now, you would think I would make one earthly friend other than Mrs. Martins. *sighs again* But sadly I haven't... And I'm talking to myself... Outloud... Again.

As Zack continues to walk around, he passes by a TV station.

"This just in, another murder had been founded"

Zack: Huh?

Zack turns his attention to see a whole bunch of people crowded at the screen. Curious, he walks up and looks at the news.

"Found by the abandoned building, blood stains and a giant claw mark was found. The unknown assalum has yet to be found. Citizens are reminded to stay indoors at night."

"Oh boy."

"Let's hurry and get home."

As the crowd started to leave, Zack remained there as he looked at the screen.

Zack: (Hmmmm another murder huh. Usually I would think it would be a human thing) *looks closer at the screen* (However..)

As Zack looked at the screen, he saw a giant claw mark on one of the walls.

Zack: (That is definitely not human.) *smirks* (Welp time for some investigation.)

Chibi Timeskip: Zack is walking around talking out loud while everyone looks at him strange

Zack makes it to one of the abandoned buildings. He sees a whole bunch of police tapes and cops around investigating the scene. He hides behind a nearby building and looks at them.

Zack: Hmmm I wonder how I should approach this. Maybe...

Zack: *walks up to the cops with a smile* Hey there! Is it fine if I go in there and investigate this scene?

Cop: *smiles* Sure thing! Hopefully you can figure out what's been going on.

The two start to laugh as rose petals surround the screen.

Zack: *shakes his head* Ok Zack, think more realistic here.

Zack: *walks up to the cops with a smile* Hey there! Is it fine if I go in there and investigate this scene?

Cop: *death glare* Get lost, you piece of-

Zack: Ooooook , too realistic. *sighs* Welp planned B. Stealth. Or in this case Illusion. *chuckles to himself* Illusions are my specialty... Yea not really. But I can try though!

Zack draws a spell circle and suddenly blue smoke surrounds him. The smoke died down and...

Zack: *looks at the mirror horrified* Yo! That ain't right!

Only Zack's arms and legs were invisible while the rest of his body was not.

Zack: Ok *draws a circle* again!

POOF!

This time only Zack's upper body was invisible while his waist and below was not.

Zack: *draws a circle* Nope!

POOF!

The left half of Zack's body was invisible and the right side was not.

Zack: *draws a circle* Come on!

POOF!

His body was gone... All except his head.

Zack: *groans in frustration* One! More! *draws a circle* Time!

POOF!

"What was that!?"

Suddenly footsteps started to approach and Zack started to panic.

Zack: Crap! The cops!

Zack was about to make a run for it but the cops appeared and looked at the alley.

"Huh?"

"What's wrong?"

"I thought I heard something."

Zack: *confused* Huh?

"Well there is nothing here."

*scratches his head* "Yeah." *starts to walk away* Guess it was my imagination

"Or maybe you're just tired."

The two cops started to walk away leaving a confused Zack. He looks over to the mirror and doesn't see his body.

Zack: It worked!

"There! I heard something!

Zack: *quickly covers his mouth* Crap! Need to stay quiet!

Zack quickly leaves the alley and begins to go to the building... For some reason he does it overdramatically. By tip toeing, rolling around, and looking back and forth, to make sure no one sees him.

Zack: *realizes something* Wait... *facepalms* I'm invisible.

Zack starts to walk normally as he approaches the claw mark.

Zack: (This mark.)

He then lifts his hand up and touches the mark. The young soldier takes a deep breath and closes his eyes. The world around him started to go dark. Everything around him went quiet as he concentrated only on the mark. Just then he started to feel a dark and cold person coming from it.

Zack: (This has traces of magic. A witch? No..)

Suddenly a dark being appeared. It was covered in shadowy mist, unable to identify its body. The only thing noticeable was its red eyes and sharp red teeth, which was twisted in a smile.

Zack: *opens his eyes* A demon. *removes his hand from the mark and puts it under his chin* But how could a demon come into this world? The only access to the human world and the demon world is the portal Eda has. Unless...

Random demon: *holding up a bunch of snails* Here's 100k snails if you let me use this portal to kill humans!

Eda: *takes it* Sold!

The two started laughing.

Zack: *sweat drops* Nah Eda would... Probably never do that. *looks at the claw mark* Still though, how did it get in here?

Zack continued to stare at the mark for a bit. Just as he continued a light shined on him.

"Hey! What are you doing here!?"

"This area is off limits to civilians!"

Zack: *shocked* Huh!? *looks at himself* Oh come on! The spell vanished already!

Zack quickly made a dash for it to get away from the cops.

Chibi Timeskip: Chibi Zack running away from the cops

We cut to Zack walking with a tired look on his face.

Zack: Ughhh. Why did the spell end so soon?

He soon made it to an old cabin. He enters inside of it and flops on the couch.

Zack: *groans* I'm so tired.

As Zack was relaxing he started to think more about that claw mark he saw.

Zack: (No doubt that was a demon, and it came from my world. If I leave things like this more people are going to get hurt.)

?: *offscreen* Zack

Zack turned and saw Y/N with a towel around his neck walking up to him.

Y/N: You ok?

Zack: *rubs his head* Hey kiddo. I'm fine just thinking.

Y/N: Ok. But where did you go? Usually you're here before me.

Zack: Ahh just did some grown up stuff. I Hung out with my fellow adults.

Y/N: *confused* Since when did you make friends?

An arrow comes out of nowhere striking Zack in his chest.

Zack: *holds his chest* Why did you have to wound me like that?

Y/N: *sweat drops* Sorry.

"Another report"

The two turned their heads and looked at the TV.

"More victims were killed by this unidentified person. Citizens are to remain in their homes and-"

Suddenly the TV was turned off. Y/N looked over and saw Zack with a conflicted look. The soldier boy sighs, sets the remote down and slouches on the couch.

Y/N: Zack.

Zack: *thinking heavily* ...

Y/N: Are you-

Zack: *gets up* Get some rest Y/N we have a lot of training to do.

Y/N was quiet for a second as he watched Zack start heading up stairs. He was worried about his teacher. The look he was making about the claw mark on the news. He then looked back at the TV and let out a deep sigh. He knows his teacher pretty well, he could tell he was keeping something from him.

Cuts back to the scene of the crime. All the officers have left and the only thing left behind was yellow tape saying: "Do not cross' '. However a hooded individual ignored the signs and walked past him. He soon made it to the middle of the scene and looked at the claw mark. The hooded figure started at it for a second until something appeared behind him. It was too dark to make out the person's appearance.

?: *kneels down* It seems he has noticed us.

Hooded fellow: I see.

?: What now?

Hooded fellow:... Give him a message.

?: *begins to smile showing his red teeth* Sir.

The shadow figure disappeared leaving the hooded fellow by himself. He looks up at the claw mark and slowly starts to smile.

Hooded fellow: Let's see how strong you've become.

The next day

Both Zack and Y/N were training, both were trying to land blows to one another but were either countering or avoiding each attack.

Sally: *cheers* Go Y/N! You got this!

Luke: Don't lose.

Sally: *elbows him* Be more supportive.

Luke: *rubs his sides* Ok ok.

Both Sally and Luke were there cheering Y/N on... Well Sally was. Y/N tries going for another punch but Zack blocks it and jumps backwards. Y/N slowly starts panting as he stared at Zack, while Zack stared him down.

Sally: Come on Y/N! You're so close to victory!

Luke: I doubt that.

Y/N just smiles at Sally as he turns and faces Zack. Though the young dragon slayer started to notice that Zack was deep in thought. He could tell because mostly Zack would avoid or block Y/N attacks. He hasn't tried attacking him at least once. Shaking off that thought, Y/N charged at Zack and unleashed a bunch of punches. Zack would block and dodge them while continuing to think.

Zack: (I need to figure out were that demon will strike next, otherwise-)

Y/N: Gotcha!

Zack: *breaks out his thoughts* Huh?

Zack was suddenly punched in the face by Y/N.

Sally: Alright! He landed a hit!

Y/N smiled as he was able to land a hit on Zack... But

Zack: *recovers and grabs Y/N's arm* Don't let your guard down!

Zack suddenly opens the pom of his hand and hits Y/N with it, sending the young dragon slayer flying in the air. Y/N lands on the ground hard as he groans in pain.

Sally: *runs towards him* Y/N!

Luke: Esh, that had to hurt.

Y/N: *slowly gets up as he holds his injured cheek with his hand* Oww...

Sally: *kneels beside him* Are you ok!? Do's it hurt!?

Y/N: *Smiles* Don't worry Sal. I've taken worse hits from Zack.

Sally: *glares at pouts* Zack! What the heck!?

Zack: Uhh sorry *rubs his head* I didn't mean to hit him that hard.

Luke: *walks beside them* Well at least Y/N knows how to take a hit.

Y/N: That's true.

Luke: That wasn't a compliment.

Y/N: Oh come on.

Zack: W-Well can you two watch over him. *points* I got to check out some stuff.

Before anyone could ask, Zack had already taken off and left. The group just stared confused. Mostly Sally and Luke, but Y/N was a little worried.

Nighttime

It was the middle of the night and Zack was standing on the rooftop with his sword behind him.

Zack: Perfect plan. I wait up here for the killer to show up and then *slams his fist in his hand* Wham! Catch him and take him in for capturing! *chuckles* What a plan.

Zack sits at the edge and slowly starts to close his eyes.

Zack: (Now I wait.)

2 hours passed

Zack was now laying down on the ground bored out of his mind. The so-called plan he thought of was not working as best as he thought it was.

Zack: Ughhhhh! Why is this taking so long!? *gets up annoyed* Will this thing come out already!?

Ahhhh!

Zack: *smirks* Finally!

Zack quickly gets up and starts running towards the direction of the scream. He managed to stop on the rooftop, and looked down at the alley. He sees a woman backing away in fear, but not only that he sees a man that has been killed by the demon. The demon slowly starts to make his way closer to the woman as she starts shaking in fear. It lunges at her as the woman puts her hands up and screams. It was about to claw her until...

CLING!

Its claw clashed with Zack's sword.

Zack: Back off!

Zack pushes the demon off him as it scatts on the ground.

Zack: *holds his sword in front of him* You're not killing anyone else on my watch! *looks at the women* Don't worry ma'am, I got this.

The woman nods her head. Zack smiled and then turned towards the demon with a glare. The demon looks at Zack, and growls at him, but then slowly starts to smile. Zack stared at the demon confused for a bit, until it suddenly started jumping from wall to wall and landed on the rooftop.

Zack: *chases after him* You're not getting away!

Zack does the same thing and chases after the demon. Soon the two started jumping from building to building.

Zack: *draws a spell circle* Stop right there!

Zack fires off a beam of electricity at the demon but the demon draws a spell circle creating a barrier, protecting it from harm.

Zack: (A spell circle!? So he really is from the demon realm!)

The demon traces another spell circle. He scatts on the ground coming to a stop. He raises his claw hand up as a wave of red magic, in the shape of a claw, heads towards Zack. Seeing this, Zack quickly takes out his sword, slicing the claw wave as they vanish. The demon lets out a "tch!" sound and starts running away. Soon it ran out of buildings to jump onto and came to a stop. A thud was heard and it turns around and sees Zack slowly approaching him.

Zack: Nowhere to run. Now I have some questions for you.

?: *growls but slowly starts to chuckle* Oh I'm sure you do... Zack Strife.

Zack: *shocked for a second but then frowns* You know me?

?: *chuckles darkly* A lot actually. *brings is hand up* I heard you are pretty strong.

The moonlight started to show the demon's appearance. He had long green hair, crimson red eyes, and dark red teeth. He was wearing a white rope with a green shirt, and blue shorts. His fingernails were dark green as were his toenails.

?: *smiles darkly* And I want to see *nails slowly start to grow* for myself!

The green haired demon dashed at Zack. Zack quickly takes his sword out and blocks his attack. The two clash in the middle with Zack glaring at the demon and the demon smirking at Zack. The two separated and skated across the ground. The demon brings both his hands up in a cross motion and fires off an X slash, from his nails, as it heads towards Zack. Zack quickly brings his sword down, horizontally, and cancels it out.

?: *Smirks* Heh. So that is the anti-magic sword.

Zack: *holds his sword in front of him* Yep. Now who are you?

The demon didn't say but just continued to smile sinisterly. Slowly dark red magic started to surround him.

Zack: *eyes widen* (This magic!)

?: Why worry about that? Let's just have fun.

Slowly the demon's hair started to grow longer and his nails started to get longer. Zack holds his blade in front of him getting ready for a fight. But suddenly the demon's eyes widened. He lets out a tch sound and slowly the dark magic around him starts to disappear. His appearances went back to normal. Zack looked at the demon confused.

?: He just had to kill the fun.

Zack: (He?)

?: *looks at Zack* Looks like I have to cut our meeting short.

The demon starts to walk away.

Zack: *yells at him* Hey, hold on! We aren't done yet!

?: *looks over his shoulder* Oh don't worry we'll finish this later.

Zack: Well how about no-

?: Aren't you worried about that woman?

Zack: *eyes widen* !

?: It's dangerous to leave someone like that alone.

Zack glared at the demon.

?: If you want to finish what we started, come to the scene of the crime. Until next time.

The demon disappeared leaving Zack alone.

Zack: (That demon.) *realizes* Oh no!

Zack quickly runs to where the woman was.

Timeskip

Zack finally made it to the ally.

Zack: Ma'am! Are you alri-

Zack looked down the alleyway and saw the women gone, not only that the man that was killed, his body was gone.

Zack: *looks down sadly* damn it.

As Zack was looking down he saw webs on the ground. He kneels down and touches the web, and just as he thought he felt magic coming from it.

Zack: *squeezes the webs* Those demons.

Unknown to him a single figure was looking down at him. To one's perspective it looked like he was floating, but he was actually standing on some webs. He was a young boy, his skin is pale white with red dots all over his face. His hair is styled in a spider-like haircut with bangs that cover his left eye, in the same color as his skin. The sclera of his eyes are red, and his irises are pale blue but notably on his left eye, he has the kanji for the number five signifying his rank. He wears a traditional looking Yukata that has a cobweb pattern on the sleeves and a black obi wrapped around the waist.

He stared at Zack for a bit until he jumped and disappeared.

Cuts to back to the abandoned building

It was quiet at the building until a shadow appeared. The figure from that shadow dropped down and landed in the center. As the dust settles it was the same demon that fought against Zack.

Green hair demon: *stretches his body* Ahhh. What a pain. And here I thought I was going to sink my teeth in that soldier's neck.

?: *offscreen* Seems you had fun.

The green haired demon stopped and looked up and saw another demon. This demon's hair was light pink and bore resemblance to spider legs. The sclera of his eyes was red, while his irises were a pale blue.

Green hair demon: Hmph. What do you want?

The light pink demon jumps and lands a few feet away from the Green haired demon.

Pink haired demon: Just wanted to check up on you. *slowly starts to approach him* Since you failed to kill that human woman.

Green hair demon: *growls* I didn't fail, the soldier got in my way.

Pink haired demon: *sighs* Did you at least kill him?

Green hair demon: was about to! I was going to sink my teeth *smiles showing his red teeth* Into his skin, and drain the magic all the magic from his body. *frowns* However, the master wants him alive.

Pink hair demon: I see... Or maybe... *smirks* You weren't strong enough.

Green hair demon: *glares* Huh?

Suddenly the air around them started to become cold.

Pink hair demon: While you were off playing with the soldier, I was busy...

Suddenly crawling sounds were heard. The green haired demon looked up and saw a bunch of human size spider cocoons hanging from the walls. He then saw a giant spider feasting on some of the cocoons.

Pink hair demon: Finding more humans to kill.

Green hair demon: Tch. You mean for your little pet.

Pink hair demon: *looks up at his spider* You have to keep pets well fed.

Green hair demon: *crosses his arms* For what, your little pretend family?

The pink haired demon looked at the demon with a glare. As the green harried demon just smirked at him. Without warning, a web shot out from the pink hair demon's finger heading straight for the green hair demon. Luckily the green haired demon dodged it, by turning his head. A little cut formed on his cheek.

Green hair demon: *brushes the blood off and looks at it* Heh. *looks at the pink hair demon and smirks* Did I strike a nerve?

The pink hair demon didn't say anything, and just continued to glare at the green hair demon. The green hair demon just chuckled as he licked the blood off his finger. He then started to smile sinisterly, as his red teeth started to glow. Slowly red magic started to surround him as his eyes started to become black with red pupils. The dark magic started to surround the pink hair demon as webs started to come from his fingertips. The two continued to glare at each other and were about to attack... Until..

Both the demon's eyes widened as their appearance changed back to normal. The two looked up and saw a hooded figure looking down at the two. Both demons quickly kneeled down in front of the figure.

Zack enters the cabin with a tired expression.

Zack: *sighs heavily* Damn it. And here I thought that plan would work.

Zack let out a yelp from the sudden voice. He turns and sees Y/N sitting down on the couch watching tv.

Zack: *holds his chest* Y/N! Hehe. Y-You scared me.

Y/N: Uhhh..

Zack: A-Anyway, what are you still doing up? It's past your bedtime.

Y/N: W-Well, you said that we would do some late night sparring.

Zack:... O-Oh that was tonight.

Y/N: Yea. You weren't here, so I waited for you.

Zack: *panics* I uh well... An outing!

Y/N: This demon has been killing people. Eventually it's going to hurt Luke and Sally. *looks up at Zack* I don't want that to happen!

Y/N: Please Zack! I want to take this demon down before it hurts the people I care about!

Zack just stared at Y/N for a bit and let out a tired sigh.

Zack: Nothing I say is going to change your mind huh?

Y/N just continued to glare at Zack.

Zack: *rubs his head* (Like father, like son. Or maybe he gets the stubbornness from me.) Alright then!

Y/N: *smiles* Really Zack!?

Zack: *nods his head* We'll take that nasty demon out together.

Y/N: *cheers* Alright! We are going to beat the demon, and save everyone!

Zack: *rubs his head* Get some rest, can't defeat a demon when your tired.

Y/N nods his head and goes straight to bed.

Y/N turns and looks at Zack.

Zack: *puts his finger over his lips* This is between you and me ok? So hush lips.

Y/N nodded his head and went back up stairs to bed. Zack looked up at him with a smile. Seeing his determined look remind him of not only himself but one of his closest friend.

Suddenly the environment around Zack changed. Instead of being in the cabin he was in the darkvoid. Behind him was Slayer staring down at Zack.

Slayer: Bring a child into a battlefield?

Zack: *turns and looks at him* Don't forget, he has dragon blood coursing inside of him. Besides *point a thumb to himself* He was trained by yours truly.

Slayer: Yet he still lacks battle experience, just as you lack a brain.

Zack: *pouts* Well you don't have to be so hurtful!

Slayer just stared at Zack as looks at the demon.

Zack: *sighs* Alright I know it's a bad idea, but the kid would have gone off anyway. By himself would have been way worse.

Slayer: Hm.

Zack: Welp if that is all you have to say *walks away* Then I'm off to bed.

As Zack started to leave, Slayer said one thing.

The next day

Another day of school had just finished and right now, Y/N was walking back home from school with Luke and Sally.

Sally: *stretches* Man school was boring.

Luke: Maybe if you'd stop staying up so late playing video games, you wouldn't be saying that.

Luke: *shrugs his shoulders* I'm just saying.

Sally: At least Y/N agrees with me. *looks at Y/N* Right Y/N?

The two looked over at the young dragon slayer and saw he was in a daze with a big smile on his face.

Luke: Uhhh Y/N?

Y/N: *breaks out of his daze* H-Huh? *looks at the two* S-Sorry did you guys say something?

The two Martin siblings looked at each other and then back to Y/N.

Sally: You just seem a little... out of it.

Both Luke and Sally looked at each other again. They both nodded their heads. Sally walking in front of Y/N, stopped and looked him in the eyes.

Sally: *gets in his face* Ok Y/N, what is going on?

Cuts to Nighttime

Zack was outside the cabin as he was stretching. Him and Y/N were about to head over and face the demon that was teriousing everyone.

Y/N: *offscreen* H-Hey Zack.

Zack: *still stretching with his back facing him* Ah, Y/N! You're here! So let's get started *turns around* And- GCK!

As soon as Zack turned around he was meet with both Luke and Sally beside Y/N. Luke had his hands in his pockets, Sally was waving at Zack, and Y/N had a nervous smile on his face,

Sally: Hey Zack!

Luke: So you two really are going to find the killer.

Zack looked at the two and then back to a nervous Y/N. He then grabbed Y/N and pulled him away from Luke and Sally.

Zack: *smiles nervously* Excuse real fast, we'll be right back. *turns to Y/N and whispers* Y/N! What happened to closed lips!?

Y/N: *whispers* I tried! It's just Sally was giving me this death glare, and I couldn't keep lying to her!

Zack: *whispers* That doesn't mean you should tell her!

Y/N: *whispers* Well what else was I supposed to do!?

Unknown to those two, they were whispering really loud, that the two Martin siblings could hear them.

Sally: I wonder what they are talking about.

Luke: *gives Sally a deadpan look* Seriously Sal? We can hear them from over here.

Sally just shrugged as Luke just shook his head. They both noticed Zack and Y/N approaching them.

Zack: Luke, Sally, we really appreciate you two coming but me and Y/N are on an important mission.

Sally: Yea, you two were going to take out the killer that came from your world.

Zack: *looks at Y/N* How much did you tell her!?

Y/N just chuckles nervously.

Zack: *clears his throat* A-Anyway kids, this mission is extremely dangerous and I can't bring you kids along.

Sally: *whines* Ehhhhh...

Luke: Yet you bring Y/N, a child, along with you.

Zack: Hey! He was trained by *points to himself* yours truly!

Luke:... I still kick Y/N's ass!

Y/N: Hey!

Sally: *slaps Luke's head* Language!

Luke just rubbed his head.

Zack: W-Well in any case it's still dangerous so you two can't come.

Sally: But I can't just sit here knowing that Y/N is going someplace dangerous!

Sally: But what if you two get separated and he gets hurt or worse!

This startled everyone from Sally's outburst. The older Martin sibling ran up and hugged Y/N, making the dragon slayer blush a bit.

Sally: I don't want Y/N to go somewhere dangerous alone!

Luke: But us going isn't going to make it better!

Sally: *looks up at Y/N* You'll be there to protect us right?

Y/N: *nods his head* Yea.

Zack: Y/N! You weren't supposed to- Ugh! Hello, I'm the adult here!

Luke: That has the mind of a child.

Zack: Harsh. But what about your mother? Does she know about this?

Sally: We told her we are having a sleep over at your place.

Zack: *speechless* I uh what *looks at Luke* Luke!

Luke: Hey! Don't look at me. When her mind is set on something it's impossible to change her mind.

Zack just looked over at Sally as she clinged to Y/N for dear life. He let out a loud sigh.

Chibi timeskip: The group is walking around with Sally hugging Y/N's arm and the dragon slayer had a deep blush on his face

The group was outside the abandoned warehouse. They looked at it from a distance and could tell something creepy was going on in there.

Sally: T-This place is a lot more scary in the dark.

Y/N: Y-Yea.

Luke: *looks at the two* Having cold feet?

Y/N/Sally: No!

Zack: *claps his hands* Alright listen up kids!

Everyone's attention was on Zack.

Zack: Now two things are going to happen: 1. The enemy is going to be in there and if so you have to do as, otherwise we die a horrible gruesome death... Or 2. Nothing is there and we can all go to Dairy King.

There was a moment of silence.

Luke:... Are speeches in your home always like this?

Zack:... Maybe.

As Luke and Zack were talking Y/N's hand started to tremble a bit. As he continued to look at the abandoned building, every part of his body was telling him to leave and go back home. But he kept telling himself not to run, he needed to show Zack that he has become stronger too. Suddenly he felt someone grab his hand. He looked over and saw Sally, with a kind smile on her face.

Sally: Hey, don't worry I'm here for you.

Y/N couldn't help but smile. He then felt Luke put his hand on his shoulder.

Luke: And hey if you quiet now, I can call you a coward for the rest of your life.

Sally: Luke!

Luke: What!? I'm just saying.

Zack looked at the three children and couldn't help but smile.

Zack: Alright, let's go!

The kids all had determined looks on their faces and nodded their heads. The group started to head inside until...

Slayer: Are you sure this is a good idea?

Zack's eyes widened as time had slowed down.

Zack: I was wondering when you were going to show up.

Slayer: Bringing along the slayer is one thing, but bringing along those two are another.

Zack: Again, I'm surprised you care.

Slayer just growled at Zack.

Zack: Besides *narrows his eyes* Something tells me if I let them go home, someone would have tried something.

Slayer: I see.

Suddenly time started to resume as Zack continued walking. Unknown to the group a familiar green hair demon was watching them walk inside.

Green hair demon: He's here master.

?: I see, which means we can continue with plan A.

Green hair demon: *smiles sinisterly* Good~

The camera cuts to a figure standing near the Martins house. He stares at the house for a bit, or more specifically at a certain woman in the house, until someone talks to him.

?: We're proceeding with plan A.

?: *smiles* Understood. *looks at the house* Well so much for meeting the women that fell in love with Ragnarok. Maybe his kids will be more fun. *breaths white smoke* I can't wait to hear the despair in their voices when they scream in agony.

He then disappears into the night. Rebecaa suddenly got a cold chill. She looked out of the window and couldn't help but feel someone was watching her.

Rebecca: *looks at the tea cup* Kids... Please be ok.

The camera cuts back to the group entering the abandoned building. They continued to walk inside until they made it to the middle. They looked around and noticed that it was quiet... Too quiet.

Zack: Stay close kids.

Sally clings to Y/N arm as the dragon slayer rubbed her head and gave her a smile. Luke looked around and he could feel something sinister watching them.

Luke: S-Something's coming.

Suddenly something dropped down causing dust and dirt to kick around everywhere. The group looked over and heard laughter. They then saw something come out from the rubble.

?: hehehehe. Well, Well Well.

The dust cleared and relieved the same Green hair demon.

Green hair demon: Looks like you finally showed up.

The group quickly got on guard.

Zack: *holds his sword in front of him* Yea, your days of killing people end here!

Green hair demon: *chuckles* I don't think so. Besides *looks at Y/N* You were able to bring the young dragon slayer with you.

This caused the whole group's eyes to widen.

Y/N: Y-You know me?

Green hair demon: Of course! Who would have thought the son of Igneel Dragneel was here in this place!

Zack: How do you know that!?

Green hair demon: Sadly, I'm not interested in him *lifts his hand up* Soooo..

The green hair demon snapped his fingers and suddenly weeps started to surround the kids. They all let out a yelp as they were flung into the air.

Zack: *looks up* KIDS!

Y/N: ZACK!

The kids disappeared into the darkness. Zack was going to go after them but was interrupted by the green hair demon.

Green hair demon: You'll be fighting me!

He had his claws up and was about to swipe Zack, but Zack quickly blocked it with his sword. The two separated and scatted on the ground.

Green hair demon: If you want to get to them, you'll have to go through me first.

Zack: tsk! Damn it! I'll just have to move you out the way, demon!

Green hair demon: Why don't you use my real name? *chuckles as he takes his scarf off* Call me Redtooth.

The demon, now known as Redtooth, launches at Zack. Zack runs towards the demon as they both let out a battle cry.

With Y/N

Y/N lets out a groan as he was sent crashing onto the ground. He looks up and sees both Luke and Sally surrounded by webs.

Y/N: Luke! Sally!

Sally: *looks at Y/N scared* Y/N!

Suddenly, the webs around Sally started to tighten causing the older Martins to scream in pain.

Y/N: *horrified* Sally!

?: *offscreen* Shut up.

Y/N sees someone walking in front of him. He looked up and saw the pink haired demon looking down at him.

Pink hair demon: You're making too much noise.

Y/N: *scared* W-Who are you?

Pink hair demon: My name is Rui, and I was told to bring you.

Y/N: *confused* M-Me?

Rui: Yes, dragon slayer.

Y/N was both shocked that he knew he was a dragon slayer. He was going to ask him how he knows that, but he was more concerned about something else.

Y/N: *looks around* W-Where is-

As Y/N looked ahead of him, he saw both Luke and Sally tied in a spider web, and beside them was a giant spider. Sally had a look of pure fear, and Luke's eyes wouldn't stop dilating.

Sally: *notices Y/N* Y/N!

Y/N: *lifts his head up* Sally!

Rui: Tch. You're nosy.

Rui lifts his hand up as webs shot from his fingertips. The webs connected around Sally, scaring the poor girl more. Rui then started to squeeze the webs causing them to tighten around Sally, squeezing the poor girl. Sally yelled in pain.

Luke/Y/N: SALLY!

Luke: Basterd! Leave my sister alone!

Rui: Ah. So you two are siblings? Feel honored, you two will become my new siblings.

Luke: *glares daggers* I would rather be caught dead than to be your sibling!

Rui: *squeezes the webs in his other hands* Then...

Suddenly the threats around Luke started to squeeze around Luke, causing the young Martin to scream in pain.

Y/N: Stop it! What are you doing to them!?

Rui: Punishing them of course. It's only natural for little siblings to listen to their big brother.

Y/N: But this isn't how siblings are supposed to act!

Y/N was suddenly kicked in the gut by Rui. He ends up coughing up blood as he was on his back. He continued to cough heavily as Rui glared daggers at him.

Rui: What do you know about a family? *slowly starts to approach Y/N* Younger siblings listen to their older siblings, Older siblings listen to their parents, and parents listen to their grandparents. Everyone listens to their oldest.

He stops in front of Y/N, lifts his foot up, and steps on the poor dragon slayer. Y/N ended up coughing blood as he yelled in pain.

Rui: What could someone who has no family possibly know about a family?

All Y/N could do is cough heavily. The first of his attacks was too much for his young body to handle. These were different then all the sparring sessions he had with Zack.

Rui: Oi Spider.

The giant spider that was around Luke and Sally jumped down beside his owner.

Rui: Master said if he isn't strong... Then kill him.

The spider hissed as it slowly started to approach Y/N. Y/N tries to back away but ends up hitting his back against the wall. He looks back over and sees the spider slowly approaching him. His whole body started to shake in fear as his eyes started to dilate.

Y/N: (I-I can't do it. I-I-I'm g-g-going..)

Sally: *looks up weakly* Y-Y/N.

Rui: Watch closely.

The spider opens up its mouth about to devour Y/N.

Rui: This is what happens when you disobey your older siblings.

Y/N: *scared out of his mind* (I-I-I'm going to die)

The spider was about to pounce and kill Y/N. Sally seeing her best friend/crush about to get eaten tries to go to him, but due to the webs she couldn't. She kept on struggling but it was useless. But she didn't want him to die, she didn't want to lose him, She wanted to help and protect him! Suddenly the blood around Sally's arm started to morph and surround it, transforming it into a claw.

Rui: *notices this* What the-

Dark magic started to surround Sally. She used her claw hand to break the threats off her and Luke.

Luke: *surprised* S-Sis.

Sally: Leave. Him. ALONE!

Suddenly the black blood shot everywhere. As it did it started to change sharp needles started piercing in multiple directions. Rui sees this and quickly dodges, sadly the same thing couldn't be said for his spider pet. It was pierced all around his body, killing it instantly. Soon the needles stopped as around the air was pierced with needles, walls, floor, ceiling. Sally started to breath heavily. She was doing her best to try to catch her breath.

Luke: *leans on his sister* Sis takes it easy.

Sally turns towards Luke and startles him a bit. Half of Sally's face was demonic while the other half was her human face.

Luke: S-Sis?

Sally: L-Luke?

Seeing her brother made her remember all the times she had with him. She slowly started to calm down.

Sally: WAIT! *looks around* Where is-

Sally looks over and sees Y/N on his knees panting heavily. He was still scared out of his mind. He's body wouldn't stop shaking and his heart wouldn't stop ponding heavily.

Sally: Y/N!

Sally picks Luke up with one hand and dashes towards Y/N. She picks Y/N up and quickly flees the scene. Unknown to them Rui was watching the whole time as he was panting heavily.

Rui: She risked her life... To save him... and her siblings. *brings his hand to his eye* That's... That's true sibling love... I want it.

Rui then gets up and starts to head after them.

With Zack

Zack was busy fighting against the demon Redtooth. The two would launch blows after blows against another. Redtooth skates on the ground as he clotted his hands with red magic. He then dashes at Zack at full speed. He then tries to claw Zack in the face but Zack counters it with his sword. He then unleashed a barrage of attacks on Zack but the soldier parries and dodges all of them. After the last one, Zack spins and goes for a spin attack on Redtooth. Quick on his feet Redtooth clots his arms with magic and blocks it, but due to the anti magic it dispels the magic on him causing it to be cut. Redtooth was sent flying into a wall and crashed into it.

Redtooth: *panting* An anti magic sword... *smiles* Truly my worst enemy.

Zack: *shakes the blood of his sword* You were able to take the blunt of that attack. You might look scrawny but you are tough.

Redtooth: *pants* I... appreciate the compliment.

Zack: You should give it up, you can't bet me.

Redtooth: *chuckles* Oh I wouldn't be so sure.

Redtooth then launches at Zack, but due to his injuries he was slow. Zack let out a sigh. He then slabs his sword on the ground and gets into a fighting position. Redtooth lets out a battle cry as he tries to claw Zack, but Zack catches it shocking the demon. He then pulls Redtooth towards him, charges lighting magic in his left arm and then.

POW!

Punches the demon with full force, in his stomach. Lighting shoots out from the demons back crashing into a nearby wall, shattering it into pieces. Redtooth lets out a yell of pain as he coughed up blood. As the lightning stops, Redtooth slouches on Zack's shoulder as Zack just held the demon. The demon's eyes were pure white as he was out from the attack.

Zack: You might be tough but you are very inexperienced. Charging blindly at me wasn't really a good idea.

Suddenly Zack felt pressure on his left arm. He looks down and sees Redtooth squeezing on his arm. He then hears the demon chuckle.

Redtooth: Thanks for the advice.

Redtooth smiled, showing off his red teeth. He pulled Zack forward, opened his mouth and

CHOMP!

Bit down on Zack's shoulder. Zack's eyes widened as he felt the demon's teeth peirce down on his shoulder. Quickly he kicks Redtooth off of him, sending him falling onto the ground. Zack grabs his shoulder as blood starts to drip.

Zack: *grunts* D-Damn! That hurt!

Laughter started to flood through the room. Zack looks over and sees Redtooth getting up, like he was rising from the dead. He looked at Zack as blood was dripping down from his mouth.

Redtooth: It's been such a long time since I've tasted such powerful magic.

Suddenly Redtooth's appearances started to change. His skin started to become more green as his eyes started to go black, and his hair started to get longer.

Zack: *chuckles lightly* Come on, give me a break. You just now started getting serious.

Suddenly red magic started to surround Redtooth. He brings both his arms to both sides of him, and slashes an X slash at Zack. Zack quickly grabs his and quickly blocks it, but the force of the attack sends him skating on the ground. Zack lets out a grunt and then a yell as he slashes the spell into nothingness.

Zack: (That magic.)

Redtooth: Heh. So you figured it out.

Zack: So you are able to steal magic from others and add it to your own. But that doesn't explain why you're attacking humans.

Redtooth: *looks at his claw* True humans don't have magic like witches, however they have one thing that all living beings have: Life energy.

Zack's eyes widened from this.

Redtooth: I'm able to steal that and then...

Dark red magic started to surround Redtooth. It starts to go wild forcing Zack to use his sword as a shield to stand against the magic wave. The magic started to take the shape of a demon smiling down at Zack sinisterly.

Redtooth: *smiles sinisterly* Become stronger!

Zack: *eyes widen* (Guess this will take longer than I thought.)

Redtooth: Now lets begin round 2!

Redtooth launches at Zack as Zack quickly runs at him at full force. The two clash creating a shockwave.

Outside the building

A hooded fellow was standing outside listening to all the commotion that was happening.

Hooded fellow: Hmmmm...

Suddenly the demon that was watching Ms. Martins appeared beside the hooded fellow.

Demon: Seem's those two are having a lot of fun.

Hooded fellow: Yes... This could be troublesome if anyone else arrives.

Demon: What do you propose?

The hooded fellow didn't say anything. He just lifted up his hand and traced a circle. Once the spell circle was finished a bigger one started to surround the building. A giant barrier surrounded the building.

Demon: A barrier?

Hooded fellow: A special barrier. This will keep anyone from hearing or being suspicious of what's happening over here.

Demon: I see.

Hooded fellow: *starts walking* I'm going to check on the dragon slayer, you can do what you want for the time being.

Demon: Sir.

The demon disappeared as the hooded fellow looked up at the building. He could hear and see the destruction that is going on inside.

Hooded fellow:... How far have you come?

Cut's to Y/N

Currently the kids were hiding in a nearby room, trying to escape from the demon. They hear walking as they all stay silent. They heard the demon stop and looked around for a second with a neutral expression. The kids were holding their breaths in fear, thinking he had found them, but luckily the demon started walking away from them. They let out a low breath of relief as they heard his footsteps get further and further away. Sally, reverted back to her original form, looked at the two boys. Luke was holding his left arm with his right, and Y/N was still in a panic daze.

Sally: Are you guys ok?

Luke: *grunts* Other than the pain I'm feeling right now, I'm ok.

Sally smiled as she looked over at Y/N.

Sally: *worried* Y/N.

Y/N: *mutters to himself* I couldn't do anything... I couldn't do anything... *looks at his shaky hands* I can't stop shaking... I'm afraid... I... I can't... *grabs his head as he pants heavily* W-Why am I-

Sally looks at the panicked dragon slayer. She could see that he was terrified beyond belief. But she wanted to do something to help him. She then crawls over and puts her hand on his leg.

Sally: *gentle tone* Hey, it's ok.

Y/N: *looks down at her* S-Sally, I-I

Sally: Shhhh *gently grabs his head* It's ok. *squeezes it gently* Just breathe.

Y/N looked at Sally's gaze and started to breathe in and out. Soon his heavy beating heart started to slow down to a normal pace. He then opened his eyes and looked at Sally.

Y/N: Thank you *sad tone* Sorry *looks down* I-I froze... I thought I could handle it but I couldn't... I can't.

Sally listens to Y/N's sad tone. The way he sounded scared and frightened. She then gently lifted her left hand to his cheek and gently kissed him on his cheek. This caused Y/N to blush bright red as he looked at Sally.

Y/N: *blushes bright red* S-Sally.

Sally: *smiles brightly* Feeling better?

Y/N just continued to stare at Sally in shock.

Sally: I know that you are scared, but I know you can do it. Because I believe in you.

Y/N was shocked by Sally's words.

Luke: Besides, if you can't we may die.

Sally: *looks at Luke with a glare* Luke!

Luke: I'm just saying.

Y/N: Guys.

Rui: *offscreen* Found you.

The kids' eyes widened as they saw Rui in front of them, glaring down.

Rui: This little hide and seek game has gone on long enough.

Luke lets out a tch sound as he tries dashing at Rui, but Rui simply backhanded him sending him flying to a nearby wall.

Sally: Luke!

Sally was going to rush to her little brother until webs surrounded her. Rui had pulled Sally to him and held her with one his arms.

Y/N: Sally!

Y/N tries rushing at Rui but ends up getting kicked in the gut. The young dragon slayer coughs up blood as he goes flying through a wall and lands heavily on the ground.

Sally: Y/N!

Rui: *tightness his grip on Sally* That's enough disobedience sister.

Sally: *glares at Rui as her left eye slowly starts to become black* I am not your sister!

Sally's left hand then becomes black as she slashes Rui's face, leaving a claw mark on it. However, that doesn't faze him as he stared down at Sally.

Rui: (This power..)

Luke: *offscreen* Hands... Off...

The two turned and looked at an injured Luke. He had blood dripping down from his face, he was panting heavily with his hair covering his eyes.

Luke: *walks weakly towards them as he stumbles a few times* G-Get... Your... Hands... Off...

Luke stops as he looks up at Rui. Soon as the two made eye contact Rui's eyes widened... For just a split second Luke's face changed to that off a... Demon.

Luke: My sister...

Rui quickly lets go of Sally and dashes a few feet away from them.

Rui: *scared out of his mind* W-What was that?

Sally: *runs over to Luke* Luke!

Luke fell down on his knees panting heavily. He looked down at his hand and for a spilt second it became a claw hand covered in black.

Luke: (W-What the-)

Sally: *kneels beside her brother* Luke! Are you ok!?

Luke: *grunts* More or less...

Rui: *stares at the two siblings* (That power I just felt just now. There is no mistake.)

Suddenly a demon appeared above the siblings head. It stared at Rui with a menacing glare with a smile on his face.

Rui: *shakes with fear as his eyes dilate* (A-A black blood demon!)

Webs started to come out of Rui's fingers as he glared at the siblings.

Rui: (I have to bring them in, and quickly!)

Rui was about to string them up but suddenly someone came rushing in.

Y/N: *offscreen* Leave my friends alone!

Rui was punched in the back of the head by Y/N.

Sally: Y/N!

Rui was stunned for a bit but he slowly lifted his head as he glared at Y/N.

Rui: You...

Rui recovered from Y/N punch

Rui: *gives him a death glare* Do you have a death wish?

Before Y/N could react he was backhanded by Rui, sending him flying outside the room.

Sally: Y/N!

Sally was going to run after him but suddenly Rui's webs wrapped around the siblings.

Rui: You two stay here. I have a slayer that I need to make into a corpse.

Rui started walking away leaving the Martins siblings tied up, unable to move. Meanwhile Y/N was on the ground coughing heavily. He slowly started to get up, but as soon as he looked up Rui was looking down at him.

Rui: Are you an idiot?

Rui kicked Y/N in the chin, sending up in the air. Y/N coughed up blood from that attacked. Rui then punched Y/N in the face, and then kicked him into a wall. Y/N crashed into a wall as blood was dripping down his head and mouth. He was painting heavily. Rui's attacks made his body ache and his bones feel like they were gone to shatter.

Rui: Why?

Y/N: *looks up weakly* Huh?

Rui: Why are you risking your life for these two?

Y/N: *slowly gets up* C-Cause... There my... Friends...

Rui... So what?

Y/N: *looks at Rui*...!

Rui: Just because they're your friends you would risk your life for them? That's just nonsense.

Y/N:...

Rui: Friends are just strangers, risking your life for complete strangers is just nonsense.

Y/N: *grits his teeth* You're wrong.

Rui: Huh? Wrong? The only people you should risk your life for is family.

Y/N: They are my family!

Suddenly one of the webs slashed Y/N's shoulder. The young dragon slayer grunted in pain as he held his left shoulder with his hand.

Rui: Wrong. Family is related by blood. Unless your blood related you're not family.

Y/N: *slowly gets up with his hair covering his eyes* It doesn't matter if you are blood related.

Rui:...

Y/N: As long as you have a strong bond with them *looks up as his eyes glow red* Then your family.

Rui: *stares at Y/N with a blank expression* That's nonsense.

Y/N just glared at Rui.

Rui: If that's what you believe *lifts his hand up* you can take it with you *strings starts to come out* to the grave.

Webs started to shoot straight to Y/N and was about to pierce him through the skull. Just before it did Y/N had a flashback.

Zack: There are times where you are going to be scared, but remember.

SLASH!

Rui: *shocked*...!

Y/N was able to move his body and dodge the attack, though the webs had slashed his check. He looked up at Rui as his eyes started to glow red.

Zack: You are my living legacy.

Y/N: *squeezes his hands* I won't...

Luke: If you don't do it we'll die.

Y/N: *fire starts to ignite in his hands* Let you

Sally: I believe in you.

Y/N: Hurt my family!

Fire started to surround Y/N's hands. He looked up at Rui with an angry expression.

Rui: (So this is the power of a dragon slayer.)

Y/N let out a few grunts as he felt his fire starting to burn him a little.

Zack: Now listen, you might be able to summon fire but your body still isn't able to handle it. That's why until your body is ready, do not use your father.

Y/N: (Sorry Zack, but in order to protect Sally and Luke)

Y/N then turns his flame arm to the webs on the wall and burned them. The burning webs started to make its way to Rui's fingers. Quickly the demon disconnected the webs from his finger, but some of the fire burnt his fingertips. The young demon hissed in pain as he held his hands and glared at the dragon slayer.

Y/N: I have to do this!

Rui: *sighs* Fine then.

Slowly Rui's hands started to turn red.

Rui: Let's see just how strong you are.

He then launches the red threads at Y/N.

Y/N: (It's gotten faster!)

Y/N quickly dodges it but suffers some more cuts from the webs on his shoulder. He let out a grunt as blood started dripping down from his shoulder.

Rui: What's wrong? Don't tell me that was all talk.

Y/N lets out a low growl as he charges at Rui. Rui swings more red threads at Y/N. Y/N quickly tries to dodge them but some end up hitting him on his knee, arm, leg, and his other cheek. The young dragon slayer let out low grunts from each one that hit him.

Rui: Guess it was all talk. Well I guess that's all. Blood demon art:

Suddenly all the webs around Y/N started to form into a cage, slicing through the walls, ceiling and even nearby objects. It started to slowly close around the young dragon slayer.

Rui: Cutting thread cage. You are no use to us anymore. *pulls the threads* Farwell.

The cage was slowly closing in on the slayer.

Y/N: (Damn it! At this rate... I'll... I'll)

Suddenly flashbacks started to play in Y/N's head: The time when he met Zack, The time when he met Luke, when he met Sally, and then... His late mother.

Y/N's Mother: Y/N.

Y/N eyes started to burn bright red as fire started to surround his body. The flames started to take the form of a dragon that roared loudly. The flame dragon started to burn the whole cage, turning the webs into nothing but a pile of ashes.

Rui: *shocked* (That's not possible! He burned the webs!)

Y/N let out a loud yell as the dragon roared. The roar echoed around the room, creating a shockwave. This pushed Rui back a little as he used his arms to shield his face from the roar. He then looked at Y/N and saw fire all around him as he growled at Rui.

Rui: (So this is..)

Suddenly Y/N disappeared from Rui's vision. The demon was shocked and tried to look for Y/N. But as soon as he tried he saw a flame fist right in front of him. Y/N punched Rui in his face as the flames started to burn him.

Rui: (The power of the dragon slayer.)

Y/N: Fire dragon: IRON FIST!

The punch sent Rui flying outside the building, shattering the wall. The demon ends up falling down onto the ground. Y/N falls to the ground as the flames start to disappear. The young dragon slayer started to pant heavily.

Y/N: *smiles weakly* I-I... won.

Sally: *offscreen* Y/N!

Y/N turns and sees Sally and Luke running up to him. Well Sally was but Luke was limping while holding his arm with his other hand. Sally ended up running full speed and tackled Y/N on the ground.

Y/N: *groans* Sally...

Sally: *hugs him tight* I was so worried! I'm so glad you're ok!

Luke: *limps over to the two* Sis.. If you keep squeezing him like that, he is going to die.

Sally: Huh?

Sally looked over at Y/N and saw he was both in pain and close to passing out.

Sally: Epp! *quickly gets off him* Sorry Y/N!

Y/N: *chuckles weakly as he sits up* D-Don't worry about it Sally.

Sally: *kneels beside him* Are you ok though?

Y/N: *nods his head* Yea I'm ok. *looks at them* How did you two get out?

Luke: The webs started to disappear.

Y/N:... Oh...

Luke: What? Were you expecting me to say something else?

Y/N: *sweat drops* Y-Yea.

Sally: *looks at Luke* You always were so straight forward.

Luke: Just telling as I see it.

Both Y/N and Sally started to chuckle/giggle.

Y/N: *grunts in pain* Ow. Ow. Ow. It hurts to laugh.

Sally looked over at Y/N and smiled. She then kissed him on the cheek making the young dragon slayer blush brightly

Y/N: S-S-S-S-S-Sally!

Sally: *giggles* That's for saving us.

Y/N started to blush even more as he was stuttering. Luke just shocked his head from the scene. Suddenly the building started to shake, breaking the group's moment.

Sally: W-What was that?

Y/N: It must be Zack.

Luke: Alright you two, we should hurry and get out of here.

The two nod their heads. Sally helped Y/N up and the three were about to leave... Until.

?: *offscreen* Oh...

The group stopped walking from the sudden voice. By the look on their face, they were in a panic. They thought it was Rui again but as they turned it wasn't. It was a hooded figure looking at the two.

?: *smiles* Leaving so soon.

A few moments before

Rui's body was seen falling down outside the building. He landed heavily on the ground as he stared at the sky. The punch he received from Y/N messed up his whole face. He could barely move from the force of the attack.

Rui: *weakly* Did... I... Lose?

Rui continues to stare up into the sky.

Rui: Sorry... Master... I... Failed.

?: No

Rui looked over and saw a hooded figure looking down at him.

?: You fought well and achieved your goal.

Rui: *lets out a small gasp* Master...

?: Rui... *smiles* I'm proud of you.

Rui's good eyes widened brightly. Hearing the kindness from his master's words made his heart beat fast. Tears started to form from his eyes as they started to fall.

Rui: *smiles* Thank you... Master.

Suddenly dark flames surround Rui, slowly burning his body. His body started to become a book with the title "Rui" on it. The book started to burn turning into ashes. The hooded fellow just smiled from this.

?: Hehehe. That was a little cruel don't you think?

The hooded figure turned and saw the same muscular demon that was watching Rebecca's house.

?: Giving him false hope like that.

?: *looks up at the building* I just wanted him to be at peace. Besides don't act like you didn't enjoy it

The muscular demon just smirked and looked at the building.

?: What now?

?: Soon the soldier will be done with his fight against Redtooth. I need you to keep him off me while I talk to the dragon slayer.

?: *kneels down* Yes, master.

The hooded fellow then disappeared leaving the demon alone. The demon turned and heard the commotion of Redtooth and Zack's battle.

?: *smiles and walks towards the building* Let's see how strong you are soldier.

With Zack and Redtooth

The battle with the two continues to rage on. Redtooth launches a barrage of attacks at Zack making the soldier go on the defensive. Zack had either blocked or dodge all of Redtooth's attacks. Zack tried to counter by slashing at the demon, but Redtooth ended up dodging, by flipping in the air, and ended up slashing Zack on his shoulder with his claws. Redtooth kicked him in his chest, making the soldier crash into a nearby wall. Redtooth landed on the ground and looked at the soldier with a murderous grin. The dust started to settle and Zack was laying in a pile of rubble groaning in pain.

Redtooth: Is that it soldier? I thought you would be stronger than that.

Zack: *groans* Well excuse me. (Damn it. I can't keep wasting time with this guy. I need to hurry and get to Y/N and the others.)

?: Idiot.

Zack's eyes widened as he heard a familiar voice.

Zack: *groans* What do you want?

Slayer: You should stop worrying about the brat and focus on the enemy in front of you.

Zack: *slowly gets up* Yea yea.

Redtooth: Heh. Ready to go another round.

Zack: *cracks his neck and smiles* Yea.

Zack slowly puts his sword away and gets into a battle stance.

Redtooth: *confused and then starts to cackle* Are you really putting away your own way to beat me?

Zack: *smirks* Oh don't worry I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve.

Slowly electricity started to surround Zack's body as he continued to smirk at Redtooth. Redtooth started to get annoyed as he charged at Zack. The demon jumped in the air, with his claw hand reeled back and attacked and tried to claw Zack. However the soldier grabbed his arm and slammed him on the ground. Redtooth loud hard on the ground, coughing up blood as he laid on the ground. He looked up and saw Zack smirking at him. The demon let out a growl as he quickly got up and started unleashing a barrage of attacks at Zack. Zack dodged and blocked all of the attacks. Soon Zack kicked the demon up into the air, making him crash into the ceiling to the second floor. Zack used his lighting to zip into the hole. Once he made it to the second floor he noticed the demon was gone. On his guard he looked around trying to find the demon. Suddenly Redtooth appeared behind Zack and clawed him in the back, but due to the lighting around his body he didn't take any damage. Redtooth grunted and disappeared into the shadows and dashed around the place. Redtooth continued to try to claw Zack, but repeatedly failed.

Zack: *smirks* Having trouble there?

Redtooth: *growls* Shut... YOUR MOUTH!

Redtooth appeared above Zack and tried biting on his neck, but the lighting protected Zack.

Redtooth: (Impossible!)

Redtooth was then headbutted by Zack and then kicked in his chest, sending him flying into a wall. The demon grunted as he looked at Zack.

Redtooth: (His magic has changed.)

Zack just smirked as he dashed in front of Redtooth. Redtooth was shocked since he couldn't keep up with the soldier's speed. He was grabbed, by the face, by Zack and then slammed to the ground, crashing into them both down to the first floor. The dust started to clear and Zack was surprised to see Redtooth gone. He looked up and saw the demon panting heavily.

Redtooth: What's going on? Your magic... It's different.

Zack: Come on, you ate some of my magic didn't you? You should know why it's different.

Redtooth was confused for a second but then his eyes widened.

Redtooth: I-It can't be.

Zack: Figured it out.

Some of Zack's teeth started to become sharp and then lines resembling dragon scales started to appear on Zack's arms. Zack then lets out a loud roar as lighting starts to surround him. Redtooth had to shield his face from the shockwave of the roar.

Redtooth: I-Impossible! You're a dragon slayer!?

Zack: *stops roaring and looks at Redtooth* Yes and no.

Redtooth: *looks at Zack confused*...?

Zack: Long story short, I was just being a stupid little kid that got his heads on a certain gift his pops brought home from his missions. Turns out that gift was a rare item known as Dragon Lacrima.

Redtooth: Dragon Lacrima?

Zack: It's something that was made from the process heart of a dragon. It gives the bearer the power of a dragon. *slams his fist together* So in a way I have the powers of a dragon and I'm not one.

Redtooth: *growls* Damn you!

Zack: Sorry to cut this short, but I have to end this now! *inhales* Lighting dragon: ROAR!

Suddenly a beam of lighting shot from Zack's mouth heading straight for Redtooth. His eyes widened as he quickly started to surround himself with magic.

Redtooth: Blood demon arc: BLOOD DEMON BARRIER!

A giant demon surrounds Redtooth and quickly puts his arm out protecting him. Soon the blast hit him creating a struggle between the two. Zack continues his attack to try to break through the demon's defenses while Redtooth continues to try to push back Zack's attack. Both of them let out loud yells. Soon...

BOOM!

A giant explosion happened spreading dust everywhere. When the dust started to cleared a little it showed Zack, with lighting still around him, stared down at the where Redtooth was. As the dust fully cleared Redtooth was on the ground covered in wounds panting heavily. Zack slowly started walking towards him and looked down at him.

Zack: *lighting disappeared* Looks like you lost.

Redtooth continued to pant heavily as he looked at the soldier with a glare. Zack picked up the demon and held him by the collar.

Zack: Alright now talk: How did you people get here, why do you know so much about me and Y/N, and why are you attacking humans.

Redtooth was silent for a moment until he started to cackle.

Redtooth: Too answer... two of those... questions... Our master.

Zack: Master?

Redtooth: We knew... That if we.. Continue to... Attack humans... You would come... looking for us... Once then... He would... Meet... The young... Son of Igneel.

Zack: And who is h-

Suddenly a giant wave of magic energy shoots through the whole building.

Zack: *eyes widen* (W-What the hell!? T-This magic!) *looks up* (W-What is-)

Redtooth started to smile as he grabbed Zack's arm and bit it. Zack lets out a grunt as he kicks Redtooth off him. He looked up and saw Redtooth's wounds slowly start to heal.

Redtooth: Sorry to bit and run, but it seems like I'm done here. Hope we meet again, I love to play with you again.

Redtooth started to dash out of the broken building.

Zack: Hey! *chases after him* Get back here!

Zack went after the demon and as soon as he made it outside his eyes widened. Not only was Redtooth gone but a giant barrier was around the building.

Zack: W-Where did this barrier come from!? I-It feels just like that magic I felt earlier! *looks at the building* And it's *eyes widen* Where the kids are! Kids!

Zack's body was surrounded with lighting as he jumped and charged to the floor where the magic was. But before he could get there something appeared behind him. Zack's eyes widened as he turned and saw a fist raised in the air. The figure let out a loud roar and punched Zack. Quickly the soldier raised both his arms to block the attack, but the force of the strike sent him flying at the lower part of the building. Zack ended up crashing into the building sliding on the ground. The young soldier let out a grunt as he looked at his arms to see marks on them.

Zack: (If I didn't have my lighting around me, I would have been dead.)

?: *offscreen* Not bad.

The figure landed a few feet away from Zack. Zack looked up and saw a very tall and muscular demon with long blond hair and a blond beard with sharp teeth. A red tattoo crosses horizontally under his eyes and over the bridge of his nose. He has a rather beast-like appearance befitting his magic. His normal outfit consists of a short-sleeved vest, light colored pants, and a pair of sandals.

?: You survived it. You're strong.

Zack slowly started to get up as he continued to glare at the demon.

?: What's your name?

Zack: Zack, Zack Strife.

?: *smirks* I'm Vetto.

Zack: Look pal, I don't have time for small talk. I need to get to my student.

Vetto: *smiles* Ah a teacher desperately trying to get to his student. *inhales* What glories despair.

Zack: *eyes widen for a bit but then frowns* Move.

Vetto: The look on your face you'll make when you see your student dead by your feet, I wonder what face you'll make.

Zack: *squeezes his fist as lighting started to spark* Last warning, move.

Vetto: *breathes heavily as white smoke exits his mouth* The look of utter despair on your face *raises his arms in the air* IT EXCITES ME!

Suddenly Zack appeared beside Vetto with his arm out.

Zack: LARIAT!

Zack closline Vetto's neck. However, due to the demons strong body muscle, he didn't move. Zack's eyes widen as he quickly jumped away, avoiding the demons powerful punch, that destroyed the ground.

Zack: *looks up shocked* (My Lariat didn't have any effect on him at all.)

Laughter was then heard from Vetto.

Vetto: *laughs instantly* YES! THAT'S THE FACE I LOVE TO SEE! The look of utter despair on your face! I can't wait to sink my teeth into it. *holds his arms out* BEAR CLAW!

Suddenly dark orange magic started to surround Vetto's arms transforming into claws.

Zack: *shocked* (Beast magic!?)

Vetto: *smiles sinisterly* Now let the despair begin.

Zack: *gets into a fighting stance as lighting surrounds his body* Kids... Hang on a little longer.

The two stare down for a bit until they both launch at each other letting out a battle cry.

Back with Y/N

The kids looked at the mysterious figure.

Hooded figure: It's a pleasure to see you Y/N Dragneel.

Y/N: Y-You know me?

Hooded figure: *nods his head* Why of course I do.

The kids continued to look at the figure in shock, but they can all tell there was something very wrong with him. Just by looking at him they don't know why but they can fell something dark around him. Luke looked over and saw a pipe. He picks it up and looks at the two.

Sally: *looks at her brother* L-Luke?

Luke: *whispers to the two* When I say go, run.

Sally: *shocked* W-Wha-

Luke: *rushes at him* GO!

Y/N: L-Luke wait!

But it was too late, Luke had jumped in the air, holding the pipe in the air and then..

CLACK!

Luke had hit the figure in the head, breaking his skull. The hooded figure fell to the ground as blood started to pour from his head. Luke looked down at the pipe and then back at the figure. He then started panting heavily, as his body started to shake. He dropped the pipe and dropped to his knees and covered his mouth with his hand. He did it... He killed someone.

Sally: *rushes over to Luke* Luke!

Y/N: *has a shocked expression*...

Sally: *kneels beside* Luke! Why-

Luke: I-I-I d-didn't... I-I-I thought h-he-

Sally: *hugs her brother* Shhhh.. It's ok.

Luke: I-I-I k-k-killed-

Sally: *rubs his back* Calm down. Just calm down.

Sally continues to comfort her brother... Until

Hooded figure: Regrets huh?

Kids: *eyes widen from the sound of the voice*...!

The kids headed over and saw the figure slowly getting up.

Hooded figure: I've seen different emotions from people when they kill someone. Some enjoyed it, some are disgusted, and some feel nothing. *looks at Luke* But you, you almost couldn't live with yourself when you took a life.

Luke: B-But how? I-I felt your skull..

Hooded figure: *touches his head* Ah, shattering a skull. That would kill most people, but sadly not me. Something as weak as a pipe can't kill me.

The kids just looked at him in shock.

Hooded figure: Now then.

The figure then walks over to Y/N. He then stops in front of him and kneels down.

Hooded figure: You've grown so much.

He then raises his hand towards Y/N's face. He then places it on his cheek and starts to rub it.

Hooded figure: I wonder, have you grown strong enough to-

Out of impulse Y/N had slapped the figure's hand off him. Y/N didn't know why but for some reason he could sense a whole bunch of bloodless coming from him. The figure stared at Y/N for a bit and smiled.

Hooded figure: I see. *stands up* Your instincts are as strong as ever.

He then raises his fingers in a flicking motion. He then flicks Y/N head. Nothing happens at first until Y/N was sent flying outside the room. He then lands on the ground with his eyes pure white and blood dripping down from his head.

Sally: Y/N!

Hooded figure: Why?... Why are you still weak? *starts walking towards Y/N* Is it because you're in this place? This soft hearted planet?

Luke: *picks up the pipe* Stay away from-

Luke gets silent when the figure turns towards him. Luke was able to see one of the figure's pure black eyes. Once the two made eye contact, Luke's whole body stopped working as he fell down on the ground and was twitching.

Sally: *looks at her brother* Luke!

Hooded figure: Or are you surrounded by all these weaklings? These pathetic humans who try to believe in peace but only know about pointless violence? *turns forward* How disappointing. I thought you would see that sort of life *lifts his hand up and points it at Y/N* is truly meaningless.

Slowly a ball made of darkness started to form and was pointed at Y/N. He was about to unleash the spell but someone grabbed his arm. The figure looks down and sees Sally squeezing his arm.

Sally: Don't you dare hurt him!

She sees Y/N trying to get up but was struggling to.

Hooded figure: (I see.)

The figure deactivates his spell and grabs Sally by the neck. Sally struggles to break free from the figure's grasp.

Y/N: *sees the scene* Sally!

Luke: *looks up weakly* S-Sis..

Hooded figure: Caring about a life such as this one *looks at Y/N* is beyond pathetic.

Y/N: S-Stop it.

Hooded figure: *aims his spell at Sally* Let me show you..

Y/N: Stop it!

Hooded figure: Why you shouldn't care for others.

Y/N: I SAID STOP!

Fire started to surround Y/N's body as he sprinted to him. Y/N was able to get in front of the figure and held up his fist getting ready to punch him. As the figure looks at him he couldn't help but see a familiar dragon slayer in Y/N.

Hooded figure: *eyes widen* !

Y/N then punches the figure in the face causing him to drop Sally and stumble backwards.

Hooded figure: *smiles* (I see. I was right. At the level you are now.)

Y/N caught Sally and dropped to the ground. The two looked over and saw the figure walking backwards. He then stopped and looked at the two.

Hooded figure: You still can't kill me.

Y/N: *shocked* (I-I hit him with everything I had.)

Suddenly dark magic started to surround the figure, spreading across the room. The pressure from the figure forced the group on the ground. The kids were all getting crushed by his magic causing all of them to yell in pain.

Hooded figure: Why? Why? What is it that you're missing? Why won't you show me your real power?

Y/N: (I-I can't move.)

He continues to glare down at Y/N, until he turns his attention towards Sally. He then remembers when Y/N charged at him to protect her.

Hooded figure: I see, that's where your strength comes from.

The figure slowly started walking over to Sally. He then stopped in front of her. Sally weakly looked up at him scarred for her life. He then lifts his foot up and steps on her causing Sally to scream in pain.

Y/N: *yells* Sally!

Hooded figure: *lifts his foot* The more I hurt her *steps on her again as she screams in pain* the more you find the strength to protect her.

Y/N: *starts to tear up* Stop it! Leave her alone!

The figure ignored Y/N's cries and continued to step on the poor girl, causing her to scream and cry out in pain.

Y/N: *squeezes his fist* Please... Stop...

Hooded figure: Pathetic. You would just cry instead of trying to protect the person that means the most to you. *looks at Sally* If she means nothing *lifts his foot towards her head* Then I should just kill her.

Y/N eyes widened as he saw he was about to kill Sally. Sally looks over at Y/N weakly and just gives him a soft smile. Even though she knew this was the end of her life she still was happy to see the person she loved one more time. As Y/N stared at her smile... Something in him snapped.

Hooded figure: Hm?

The figure turns and sees fire surrounding Y/N as he growls at him.

Y/N: DON'T YOU DARE HURT HER!

Back with Zack

Both Zack and Vetto were zipping around the room. The two would clash, separate and continue to move around. The two then clashed again in the middle unleashing a barrage of attacks at each other.

Vetto: *dodging and counter* Nice moves! You have keen reflexes and incredible speed, I'll grant you that.

Zack: *dodging and contouring* Tch.

Zack unleashed a barrage of punches on Vetto's chest, however the demon didn't even move. Vetto smiles and goes in for a claw swipe at Zack, causing him to jump back.

Vetto: *smirks* What's wrong? That all you got?

Zack: (Damn! None of those attacks worked on him! Guess I need to step it up then.)

Lighting starts to surround. It slowly starts to destroy the ground around him.

Vetto: *looks at him with curiosity* Oh. Getting serious, are we? *smirks* Alright then. Demon beast arc:

Dark magic started to surround Vetto. It slowly started to take the form of a rhinoceros.

Vetto: Rhinoceros Armor

Zack: *puts his hands in the air* Lighting Dragon:

Electricity started to form into the shape of a large trident.

Zack: Heavenward Halberd!

Zack then throws the trident at Vetto's Rhinoceros shield. As soon as the two connected a battle struggle happened as the shockwaves from the two spells. It breaks the walls, floor, and any nearby rubble. Zack let out a battle cry as Vetto did the same. This battle struggle lasted for a bit until a crack formed in Vetto's shield.

Vetto: *shocked*...!

Zack let out one final battle cry as he increased the magic to his attack. Soon an explosion happened as dirt and derby started to fly around. Zack started to pant heavily as he looked at the smoking area.

Zack: *pants in between words* I felt... That attack connects... Did it work?

?: *overscreen* Nice one.

Zack's eyes widened when he saw Vetto still standing. He had blood dripping from his mouth and a few cuts in bruises on his body.

Zack: *shocked* N-No way...

Vetto: *smirks and starts to laugh* HAHAHAHAHAHAH! YES THAT'S THE FACE! The look of utter despair of seeing your attack doing little damage to me!

Vetto then vanished from Zack's view. The soldier's eyes widened until he felt Vetto's magic behind him. He quickly turns and tries to dodge the demon's attack. But the Vetto elbows him on his sides, causing Zack to spit out blood. The soldier was sent flying to a nearby wall, crashing into it and laying on the ground.

Vetto: I'm going to enjoy *summons a claw* breaking you bit by bit as I feast upon your despair.

Zack was laying down on the ground, lighting surrounding his body. holding his left side in pain. That attack Vetto did to him shattered the left side of his ribs.

Zack: *in pain* (W-Without my lighting shield *grunts* I would have been a dead man)

Slayer: This isn't working.

Zack: *slowly starts to get up* I can see that.

Slayer: Really? Then stop worrying about the kid and focus on what's in front of you.

Zack: *groans* Alright alright. (My strikes aren't doing anything to him. Well in that case.) *slowly takes out his sword* I guess *holds his sword in front of him* I should get serious. Ready partner?

Slayer: Hmph.

Vetto slowly started walking over to Zack, ready to pound him more into the ground. He then stops when he sees Zack holding his sword in front of him, from the hilt and the tip.

Vetto: Don't tell me you're giving up already? I haven't have much fun giving you despa-

Vetto was cut off from his sentence when he felt a dark wave of magic surrounded Zack.

Vetto: *eyes widen*! *looks over at Zack* What is-!

Suddenly a giant black storm started to form around Zack. It started to spin out of control making everything spin. Soon it started to die down and revealed Zack with half his body covered in black. Vetto looks at the form amazed at what happened.

Zack: Feel proud of yourself, Vetto.

Vetto: *Shocked beyond belief*!

Zack: You are the second person to have seen this form.

Vetto: (So this is the power of the anti magic sword.)

Zack then vanishes from the spot he was in and appears in front of Vetto. Vetto was shocked from the soldiers speed and tried to back away, but before he could Zack had sliced off Vetto's right arm. The demon let out a cry of pain as he jumped back a few feet away and held his severed right arm.

Zack: *holds his sword out* Like I said Vetto I'm going to end this quickly.

Vetto starts to grunt in pain as he gives Zack a glare. But slowly the demon started to smile.

Vetto: Don't think you've won yet, SOLDIER!

Vetto then starts to yell as his magic starts to spike. Zack held his sword out ready to strike the demon but something appeared on Vetto's forehead... A third eye. Zack's eyes widened as he saw that and slowly Vetto's magic started to change. It slowly started to become dark red.

Zack: *uses his sword as cover* (What kind of magic is this!?)

A spell circle started to appear on Vetto's severed arm. Though the circle didn't look like any spell circle Zack had ever seen before.

Vetto *smiles sinisterly * Mystical Demon Arc: noitareneger

Vetto utters a phrase that not even Zack could understand. What shocked the soldier more was that Vetto's arm started to regenerate.

Zack: (The hell!?)

Vetto: *opens and closes his hand* I'll give you credit for pushing me this far. I can't wait to see despair in your eyes.

Zack: *sighs deeply* Man do you ever hear yourself talk. (I might not know how he was able to heal that fast, but I do know if I can't slice off his limbs I'll just slice off his head.)

Back with Y/N

Y/N had fire surrounding him as he glared and growled at the figure.

Hooded figure: There it is. That is your true form.

Sally: Y-Y/N?

Hooded figure: Hello, the new E.N.D.

Y/N roared at the figure and then dashes towards him. He then headbuts the figure in the stomach causing them to be sent flying. As the dust blows over the two siblings.

Sally: *gets up as she holds herself* Y/N.

Luke: *weakly* Sally...

Sally: *gasp and looks over* Luke!

The older Martin sibling rushes as fast as she can towards her little brother.

Sally: *kneels beside him* Luke are you-

Luke: I-I could hear it...

Sally: *looks at him confused*...?

Luke: T-The pain in his heart... The screams of agony... If he doesn't stop... He'll

Sally's eyes widened realizing what Luke was talking about.

Sally: *looks at the direction* Y/N.

Back with Y/N and the hooded figure. Y/N was on the ground growling at him as the figure slowly started to get up from Y/N's last attack.

Hooded figure: hehehe. Is that the best you can do?

Y/N: *growls* AHHHHHH!

The devastating roar sent a giant shockwave across the room, not only that the whole room was covered in fire.

Hooded figure: *looks at the flames in amazement* Amazing. The rage from these flames, to burn everything it touches.

Y/N then jumps at the figure and unleashes a barrage of attacks on him. Each attack he dealt made the figure grunt in pain.

Hooded figure: *taking all the attacks* (These strikes, this could kill most powerful beings... However.)

Y/N tries to go for another punch but the figure ends up catching it and glares at the young dragon slayer.

Hooded figure: It's still not enough.

The figure then blasts Y/N with a dark spell sending him tumbling on the ground.

Hooded figure: Usually when my spell hits someone they die, but it seems like your fire protected you.

Y/N gets up and glares the figure down.

Hooded figure: What's wrong, is that all you got? At this rate *smirks* I'll kill the little girl.

Y/N eyes widened from when he said that and soon something snapped in the young slayer's mind. The fire around them started to burst into darker flames. It started to destroy everything around them.

Hooded figure: *uses his arm to cover his head* (There it is. That's the power I was waiting for.)

Suddenly Y/N had vanished from the figure's sight.

Hooded figure: *shocked* (Where di-)

He was then cut off from a kick to the head. Y/N slammed him on the ground and then let out a roar. Fire started to surround his whole leg as it sent the figure further down destroying the floor and sending them both down to the ground floor.

Zack and Vetto

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

The two continued to clash over and over again. Vetto having a giant smile on his face with Zack having a glare on his. The two meet again in the middle again creating a shockwave around them. Vetto then grabs Zack's sword and pulls him forward. He then grabs Zack's face with his other hand and slammed him down on the ground as it shatters making them almost fall to the ground floor. Zack pushes Vetto off and dashes behind him and stabs him in the back through his stomach. Vetto lets out a painful cry as Zack pushes him down to the ground floor causing dust and debris everywhere. Painting was heard and it revealed Zack with his sword stabbed to the ground and Vetto was gone.

Zack: *shocked* Where did he-

Zack then hears a roar and turns and sees Vetto with a red claw about to strike Zack. The young soldier quickly counters with an attack as the two unleashed a barrage of attacks at each other.

Soon the two back away from each other.

Vetto: *holds his hand out as a dark spell circle appears* Demon mystic beast Magic: epoh lla pu evig

Zack: *holds his sword over his left shoulder* BLACK SLASH!

Zack unleashes a black wave of anti magic at the beast as another battle clash happens. Vetto lets out a roar to increase the death magic beast at Zack as the soldier lets out a grunt.

Zack: (What is this!? Some kind of ancient magic! Or is is-)

Zack breaks free from his thoughts when he hears Vetto let out another cry. The beast destroys Zack black slash. As the soldier quickly unleashes multiple more slash destroying the beast. Zack pants heavily as he looks at Vetto, the beast's wounds slowly start to heal as he chuckles at Zack.

Vetto: What's the matter, soldier? Reaching your limit.

Zack: *pants heavily* Shut up... *Zack's transformation starts to disappear and reappear* (D-Damn it.. I'm reaching my limit with this form.)

Vetto: Hehehe, the more you struggle the taister you become with all the despair. Once I'm done betting the hell out of you, I'll go after those little kids as well.

Zack: *eyes widen in shock*..!

Vetto: *laughs sinisterly * YES! THAT'S THE FACE I WAS LOOKING FOR! THE LOOK OF UTTER DESPAIR OF NOT BEING ABLE TO SAVE ANYONE!

Zack: *grits his teeth as he stares Vetto down* I won't... *holds his sword in front of him* Let you hurt them! *Anti magic starts to surround Zack* I won't let any of them die!

Vetto: HAHAHAHAHA! THEN COME ON THEN TRY AND STOP ME! *Red magic starts to surround Vetto* I WILL CRUSH ALL YOUR HOPES AND DREAMS, DROWN YOU TO DESPAIR, AND KILL ALL OF YOU!

Zack: (I'll just have to use the last bit of the anti magic and kill him in an instant.)

The magic from the two started to shake the whole building, causing some of the rubble to float in the air. Vetto smiles darkly at Zack and the soldier glares heavily at the demon. Zack slowly starts to quote some words of what his master once told him.

Zack: *holds his sword in front of him as he closes his eyes* "Embrace your dreams and whatever happens, protect your honor *opens his eyes* AS SOLDIER!" *Zack slams his foot on the ground and then dashes towards Vetto* COME AND GET IT!

Vetto summons his dark red claws and charges at Zack.

Zack: BLACK METEORITE!

Vetto: DRAIN IN DESPAIR!

As the two were close to attacking one another...

BANG! SHATTER!

The floor above them started to shatter and coming down was a whole lot of fire, not only that but Y/N and the hooded man as well.

Zack: * times slows down as he sees Y/N's Dragon form in shock* (Y/N!)

But before anything was said...

BOOM!

A giant explosion happened inside the building, destroying every floor inside. The flames around started to burn the building both inside and out. Around the ground floor was rubble and falling beams all around. Suddenly one of the giant rubble started to move and revealed Zack panting heavily he had blood dripping down from his head. He slowly starts to get up holding his sides in pain.

Zack: *looks around* T-These flames...

He then hears something as he turns and looks. He sees Y/N panting heavily as he looks around at the whole scene. He covers his mouth as he falls to his knees and holds his head with his hand.

Zack: Y/-

SPLASH!

Zack's eyes widened as he looked down and saw a hand sticking out of his stomach. He could feel someone had punched him through his back to his stomach, He looked behind him weakly and saw Vetto. The demon was slowly healing from the wounds.

Vetto: I told you, didn't I? I will make you sink into despair!

Zack ended up coughing up blood. Vetto then removes his arm from Zack as the soldier slowly starts to fall, but before he does Vetto holds his head with his right hand.

Vetto: HAHAHAHAHAHAH! Look soldier! Your student, your friends, everything! Look at how they are in utter despair!

Zack: *lets out a loud cough up blood and looks at the scene weakly*...

Vetto: You speak of dreams, honor, hope, all nonsense! All of those things are meaningless! What is left for everyone is utter despair!

Zack looks back at Y/N and sees him screaming in pain. The soldier gave his student a sad look, knowing full well that it was his fault. All this happened because he wanted him to grow stronger. Vetto then throws Zack in the air and then catches him by the neck, choking the soldier. Zack grunts in pain.

Vetto: *looks deep into Zack's eyes* I want to see the despair on your face! Watch how no matter what you could have done it all would be in vain! Now wallow in your despair, soldier! Despair! Despair! Despair! Despair! Despair! Despair! Despair! Despair! Despair!

As Zack was slowly getting the life choked out of him, he then slowly starts to remember all of his friends back on the Isles: Eda, Igneel, Alador, Odalia... Lilith. As he was about to shut his eyes and drift to never ending darkness, he then sees a little black hair soldier boy. As he looks at the boy, the boy slowly starts to turn around.

?: Are you going to give up?

Zack:...

?: It's true he's strong, like really really strong. And you might die.

Zack:...

?: But just because you die, doesn't mean your dream will.

Zack's eyes widened as he looked at the boy and slowly the boy transformed into Y/N and smiled at Zack. Zack looks at the boy and smirks.

Zack: *talks weakly* Y-Yea...

Vetto: *looks at Zack* Hm?

Zack: I might... Die here... *looks at Vetto with a determined look* But my dream won't!

Vetto looked at Zack as though he was crazy, but then that look turned into pure rage.

Vetto: *raises his other fist* THEN DIE ALONG WITH YOUR DREAM!

But before Vetto could punch Zack, Zack's sword appeared in his hands. Using the little bit of strength he had he impaled the demon in his stomach, making Vetto lose his grip on Zack's throat.

Vetto: *takes a view steps back* When did he-

He then hears lighting as he turns and sees Zack's body surrounded by lighting.

Zack: *weakly* These will use the last bit of my magic... But *looks at Vetto with glowing blue eyes* It'll be worth it.

Vetto: *shocked*..!

Zack: *inhales and screams* DISAPPEAR!

Zack shoots out a giant lightning breath attack at Vetto sending the demon flying outside of the burning building.

The soldier pants heavily as he falls to his knees feeling the last bits of his magic fading away.

Zack: *weakly* Not... Yet... I have... Too get... To him...

The young soldier forces his body to get up as he walks in the fire towards his student.

Y/N

Y/N was panting heavily as he held his head in pain. All the explosions that he was hearing, the voices, he simply ignored them all. His fire was started to take control and run wild and he had no control over it. He was scared beyond belief. He felt he was losing himself as he continued to pant heavily.

Y/N: (I-I can't! Control it!)

?: *offscreen* Y/N!

The young dragon slayer's eyes widened as he turned and saw the one person he didn't want to see at this moment... Sally.

Sally: Y/N! It's me!

Y/N: STAY AWAY!

Sally: Y/N please! I want to help you!

Y/N: I SAID STAY BACK!

Suddenly Y/N fire starts to burn out of control burning more holes in the building. The building started to crumble more. Sally shielded her eyes but kept walking towards him.

Sally: Y/N. I know you're scared. But I'm not going to leave you.

Y/N: STAY BACK! SALLY, PLEASE!

The fire started to head for Sally hitting her dead on. Though it didn't burn her at all. She looks down at it and then back at Y/N to see him crying.

Y/N: Please. *whimpers* I-I don't want to hurt you.

Sally looked at Y/N for a moment and then smiled. She kept walking closer to him, ignoring all the falling ruble.

Sally: I know Y/N. I know you don't want to hurt me. Your fire is proof of that.

Y/N turned to Sally and saw her in front of him. She gently grabbed his face for her to look him in the eye.

Sally: See? It doesn't hurt me.

Y/N looked at her surprised. Sally brushes some of the tears of his eyes and smile sincerely at him.

Sally: Your fire is yours and nobody else's. *hugs him* And I'll always be there to remind you.

Y/N started to cry again as he held her. He cried into her shoulder as she smiled and rubbed his back. It was a happy moment...Until...A loud sound was heard above them. Sally's eyes widened as she pushed Y/N off him.

Sally: Y/N!

STAB!

It was as time slowed down. Y/N was in the air getting pushed as he looked at the scene with pure horror...In front of him... Was a steel beam... That pursed through Sally.

Sally: ...Y/...N.

Y/N: S-S

Seeing the death of the girl he truly charises made the fire around him start to burn more.

Y/N: SALLY!

The flames continue to burn around him more.

Y/N: *looks at his hands* T-This is all my fault! I did this! *tears falling from his eyes* I'M A MONSTER!

Y/N let out a loud roar that echoed through the building.

Y/N: I'M A-

Suddenly someone grabbed Y/N from behind and brought him in a gentle embrace. Y/N's eyes widened when he felt the person. He could tell by the gentle touch who it was.

Zack: Don't say.. That. This isn't... Your fault...

Y/N: *tears falling* Z-Zack...

Zack: Don't worry... Just... Sleep...

Zack cast a spell on Y/N that slowly put him to sleep. As the young dragon slayer. The soldier let out a sad smile as he knew this was the end.

Zack: (I still have a little bit of strength left.) *looks over and sees a unconscious Luke* (Ok here goes.)

Zack used the last bit of remaining magic he had and quickly dash towards Luke. He kneeled down and picked the young boy up. Before he left he looked over at Sally's pierced body and gave a sad look.

Zack: I'm sorry...

He was about to sprint but heard a voice.

Sally: Thank you...

His eyes widened and turned over and saw Sally's body looking at him with a smile. Tears started to form in Zack's eyes as he quickly dashed out of the building. They made it out just in time as the building started to collapse and fall creating a giant dust cloud. Zack fell to the ground as he laid there looking up at the cloud blocking the sky. Slowly it started to rain as he continued to look at it.

Zack: ...Slayer...

Suddenly Zack's blade started to appear before him.

Slayer: Zack...

Zack: *gives a smile towards the demon* Return...

Slayer:... Farewell...

Slayer started to fly into the air towards the barrier destroying it in the process. Zack looked up and smiled knowing now that the barrier is gone it won't be long til the police get her. Slowly Y/N started to wake up as he looked around.

Y/N: W-What happen-

Y/N stopped when he saw the remains of the building still on fire. He slowly started to tear up seeing this.

Y/N: W-Where's-

He turned over and saw his friend Luke passed out. Though he was glad his best friend was still alive, he started to remember what happened to Sally. He put his hand over his mouth and was about to let out a cry until he remembered someone else: Zack. He looked around hoping the soldier got out safely. He found Zack but was horrified, Zack was laying on the ground bleeding out. The young dragon slayer tries to run to him but falls. He was too exhausted from all the magic he used. He slowly started to crawl over to his teacher, ignoring all the blood that got on him.

Y/N: *looks down at him weakly* Z-Zack...

Zack: *looked up at his student* Y-Y/N...

Y/N: *starts to tear up* I-I'm sorry... T-This... This is all my fault. *breaks down in tears* I-I'm so... Sorry.

Zack stared at his crying student. There were so many words he wanted to tell him. So many things he wanted to say to him, but he was too weak and close to death to let him know... However there was one thing he could say to him. He weakly raises his hand towards Y/N. Y/N sees this and leans in to grab it.

Zack: Your... Going... To...

Zack then grabs Y/N's head and brings it towards his chest.

Zack: Live.

Y/N's eyes widened as Zack said this.

Zack: You are... My living legacy...

Zack weakly lets go of Y/N's head as the young dragon slayer lifts his head up and stares at Zack.

Zack: *gently and weakly grabs his hand* My honor... My dreams... *squeezes his hand* They're yours... Now...

Y/N:...I... am... You're living... Legacy...

Zack smiles at Y/N. Knowing that he was going to die as long as Y/N knows this he would always live on forever. With those final words said Zack's eyes slowly started to lose life as his grip on Y/N's hand loosened. His body then goes limp as he lays there dead. Seeing the death of his teacher Y/N's eyes widen as he lets out a yell of sorrow and sadness. The sound of cop cars and an ambulance was then heard.

I know this will leave a long scar in you... But never forget... I will always live. As long as he never forget what I taught you... I will always be with you... My student.

Suddenly the young boy appeared in front of Zack and smiled. Zack smiled at the boy and said one final thing

Zack: And that's what happened.

We cut back to Luz's room, in the owl house. Luz was in her sleepwear laying down on her mat as she was listening to Zack's story. She couldn't help but be shocked and heartbroken from everything that had happened. She was trying her best not to cry, but sadly the tears in her eyes couldn't help but fall.

Luz: *looks down as her tears continue to fall* H-He's gone through... All of that.

Zack: Yea.

It was a moment of silence.

Zack: Luz-

Luz: I know.

Zack: *eyes widen*..!

Luz: *looks up at Zack with tears and a determined look* No matter what happens. I will be there for him no matter what.

Zack: *shocked by her outbursts but slowly starts to smile* (... I knew I can count on you.) *slowly starts to fade* Oop. Times up. Guess I got to go. Oh and Luz..

Luz:..?

Zack: *smiles* Thank you for loving him.

Luz blushes deeply from this, but still smiles and nods her head. Zack smiles back at her and then vanishes, leaving Luz by herself.

Luz: *lays on her mat and stares at the ceiling*... I promise. I'll always be there for you... Y/N.

Luz slowly starts to go to sleep, but unknown to her a certain owl lady heard the whole story as well. She had the same expression as Luz when she heard Zack's story. Hearing that's what happened to Y/N hurt her deeply. She starts to remember Zack's last words to her.

A young Adult Eda and a young adult Zack were at the owl house. Zack was standing near Eda's door as Eda was standing with her arms crossed.

Eda: *groans* Seriously, you need to find your own portal to the human world

Zack: *rubs the back if his head with a smile* Yea I really should. *turns around and waves* Welp see ya.

As Zack starts walking through the portal he stops with his back facing Eda.

Zack:... Eda.

Eda: Huh?

Zack: When the time comes *looks at Eda* I entrust everything to you.

Eda stared at Zack as he was crazy.

Eda: W-What what are you talking about?

Zack: *chuckles as he rubs his head* Sorry just thinking out loud. *waves his hand* See ya.

Zack stepped through Eda's portal leaving the witch by herself.

Eda: What the heck was up with that?

A few days past

Eda stepped through the human portal and started walking out to collect some more human collection.

Eda: Time to see if I can get more human supplies.

Suddenly something started to shine in the sky and floated in front of Eda.

Eda: What the- Wait is that-

As Eda looked at the object her eyes went into horror as she saw Zack's sword. She then remembers Zack's words to her.

Eda: *covers her mouth with her hand as tears started to fall* N-No... *falls to her knees and starts crying* Zack...

Eda: *whips the tears from her eyes* (Y/N.) *starts to walk to her room* (I will always be there for you.)

At the Strife household

Y/N was in the living room with Aerith, Mr. and Mrs. Strife. They were sitting down enjoying some tea that Aerith made.

Mrs. Strife: *Slowly put her teacup down* It seems you've gone through a lot deary.

Y/N: Y-Yea

Mr. Strife: *slams his cup down startling everyone* Ok kid, lets list what has happened: *holds up one finger* You've been kidnapped by the Emperor, *lifts up another finger* Fought said Emperor *lifts up another finger* And made yourself a wanted criminal.

Y/N: *sheepishly smiles and rubs the back of his head* Y-Yea.

Mrs. Strife: Dear! You're being too hard on him!

Mr. Strife: *looks at his wife* Well it's something he has to hear! *looks at Y/N* Listen Y/N! Now that the emperor knows about you, you are going to be his main target! Do you think you can handle that!?

Y/N looked down as he started to grip his fist.

Aerith: *looks at Y/N worried* Y/N.

Y/N: I-I... *looks at Mr. Strife* I need to become stronger!

Mr. Strife: *smiles* Well there is only one thing you need to do: Become stronger. Lucky I know just the guy.

Y/N: Really?

Mr. Strife: Yep. *points to himself* ME!

Everyone:... Huh?

Mr. Strife: I was one of the greatest warriors this Isle have ever seen! *starts to poss* I can

Suddenly a loud crack was heard and Mr. Strife was holding his back as he groaned in pain. Everyone just sweat dropped as they stared at him.

Mrs. Strife: Dear, "was" was in that sentence.

Both Aerith and Y/N chuckled nervously.

Mr: Strife: *groans* W-Well if I can't help *looks at Y/N* There is someone that can help you.

Aerith: *shock* Y-You don't mean!?

The scene cuts to Y/N walking towards a nearby mountain away from the village. He makes it to the entrance and starts walking inside. He looks around for a bit but then hears a voice.

?: I've been waiting for you.

Y/N stops walking and looks and sees a person there. He was tall, broad, and muscular. He has lightly tan skin, blue eyes, medium-length slicked back white hair with bangs hanging on either side, and a small white goatee.

Zack: *smirks* Been a while old man.

Y/N: W-Who are you?

?: *smiles* The one that taught your teacher, Angeal.

Bat queen cave

Deep in the cave a certain half demon was training against the demon slayer.

BOOM!

CRASH!

Luke was sent flying into a nearby wall. He ended up landing on it, shattering some of it, and fell on the ground. He groans in pain as he slowly starts to get up panting heavily.

?: HAHAHAHAHA! NOT BAD KID!

Luke looks up and sees the demon slayer, holding their spear over their shoulders.

Demon slayer: You're getting better kid! Keep this up and you'll seprase me in no time!

Luke just continues to pant heavily as he glares at the demon slayer.

Demon slayer: Well maybe in 100 years! *thinks for a second* Or maybe more than that? Let's see *starts counting with their fingers* 1... 2... 300 uhhh-

Luke: Hey.

Demon slayer: *looks at Luke* Hm?

Luke: Enough of this easy training.

Demon slayer: Easy?

Luke: I want you... To come at me with the intent to kill.

Demon slayer: *stares at Luke for a bit* Uhhh kid are you-

Luke: *grips his sword* I need to become stronger. Strong enough... to protect.

A little Luke was seen a little far away from the seen surround by fire. He slowly opens his eyes and tries to get up but was too weak to move. His body was hurting all over as he was inhaling a lot of smoke making him cough a lot. He then hears screaming as he looked up and saw Y/N screaming in pain.

Luke: *weakly* Y-Y/N.

He then hears his sister calling to Y/N. He sees her calming him down that made him smile a bit, but then he sees a steel beam heading straight for them.

Luke: *voices low* Guys *cough cough* Wat-

But it was too late as Sally pushed Y/N's out of the way and she was stabbed by the beam. Luke's eyes widened as he just watched his big sister be killed. Tears fell from his eyes, he wanted to scream out in pain, yell her name... But in his condition all he could do was pass out from the sudden shock.

Luke: *hair covering his eyes* (I was so weak that I couldn't even protect my own sister. I wouldn't even let so much as a yell as I watched her die. I won't show that weakness ever again!) *looks up with a determine glare* So come on! Give me everything you got!

The demon slayer removes their spear from their shoulder. The slayer stares at Luke for a bit when suddenly Luke was replaced with a smaller demon. The demon had blue skin with a ponytail. Shadows were covering their eyes but it showed their smile.

?: *breathing heavily* Come on... I can still... Keep going!

The demon slayer smirked from under their mask and traced a spell circle. Suddenly multiple spell circles appeared behind the demon slayer as multiple spears came out.

Demon slayer: *left eye starts to glow blue* Don't blame me if you end up dead.

Luke just smirks at the demon slayer. He then draws a spell circle as his left arm becomes demonic. He whips the blood from his head as it spreads around his blade, making it turn all black.

Luke: If I die here *smirks* It was as fair as I was meant to go.

The demon slayer smirked as both Luke and the Slayer charged at each other with a battle cry.

Luke: (I will not lose..)

Suddenly an image of Luke being hugged by Luz and Y/N played in his head. Luz and Y/N both had smiles on their faces, while Luke had an annoyed but a small smile on his face.

Luke: (Ever again!)

Both Luke and the demon slayer collided together as the scene slowly started to go black.

In the black room

The little demon was sitting down in the chair as he was sipping his coffee.

Seem things are getting interesting in the Isles

I wonder what's going to happened next

(A/N: BOOOM! The new chapter is out! Yea sorry it took so long I was really working hard on it.

As you can see the fire wasn't enterally Y/N's fault. It was due to a hooded fellow and his followers to see the true power that lies within Y/N. Not only that he saw the black blood power inside both Luke and Sally, but due to Sally's gentle heart he didn't care that much about her.

We also found out Zack accidentally was given dragon slayer powers. He was just being a innocent kid that played with something he shouldn't have. We can also see he wasn't that skilled with magic, thats why he struggled in hexside.

So pretty much I added a few demons mostly, but are they really demons or are they something else?

The set up of Zack bringing Sally and Luke along was he had a feeling that they were still a going to be targeted if they went home, but as you can see even being with him was also unsafe.

But the real question remains: What had happened to that figure, what happened to those "demons", and how was Luke able to survive the floors crashing down on him?
