The scene opens up to an island. It was clear blue skies and trees all over. The camera eventually stops on a small little creature: Baby dragon. Though he was a lot smaller than usual. The little dragon starts to walk around the forest looking for something. The baby would let out little whimpers as it continued to walk. Suddenly baby dragon started to hear voices. Curious, the baby dragon walked over to where the voices were. It soon saw three figures as it hid in the bushes.
One of the figures walked away from the taller figures and kneel down. Baby dragon got scared and was about to run away, but the voice stopped him.
?: Hey it's ok. I won't hurt you.
The sound of one of the voices was that of a child. It was kind and gentle. The baby dragon slowly started walking out and looked up at the figure. Just as it was going, everything started to go white.
The scene opens up to baby dragon laying down beside Y/N. The baby opened his eyes and looked over and saw Y/N sleeping soundly. As the baby continued to stare at Y/N, he started to see him as another certain teenage boy. This caused the baby dragon to look down and sadness as it curled into a ball and hugged itself.
Baby dragon: *whimpers*
A tear started to fall from the baby dragon's eyes as it continued to hug himself. But unknown to the dragon a certain tear fell from Y/N's eyes as well.
Flashback
In an abandoned tent far from the isles. Inside the tent was broken glass, floors, and most of all dried up black blood all around. Not only that, a demon was laying down in the pool of blood. This demon was Ragnorak.
Ragnarok: *cough cough* A-Another day. *smiles weakly* I wonder... how... many times... I've woken... Up to my own... Blood.
Ragnarok continues to lay on the ground as he stares at the ceiling of his tent. The reason he was like this was because he was beaten senseless by other witches and demons. This happened a lot for our young demon. The only thing he had for him is this little tent he built far away from the isle. For why he ever leaves that tent is a question he's been asking himself.
Ragnarok: *chuckles weakly* (I wonder... Why do I continue to live?)
As Ragnarok slowly starts to close his eyes, he hears a low growl.
Ragnarok: *opens his eyes* Oh... Hi old friend...
Another growl was heard.
Ragnarok: *chuckles* Yea... I got beat up again...
Growl.
Ragnarok: R-Right... I shouldn't... Be laughing.
Over the course of Ragnarok's life, he started to hear a little growl whenever he got really depressed. At first he thought he was just hearing things, but soon it became something he could talk to. It took him a while to understand whatever was growling at him, but he eventually got the hang of it.
Ragnarok: But can... Can you blame... Me?
Growl.
Ragnarok: Right... Complaining about it... Won't help. *slowly starts to sit up as he holds his sides* But... What else do I do?
Growl.
Ragnarok: *chuckles* Very funny.
Growl!
Ragnarok: R-Right Right, not joking... *sighs* But where... Am I... supposed to... Look for one?
Growls.
Ragnarok: I guess... *leans on the wall* You know, I used to think you were some kind of noise I heard, or a random wild animal, but now you became something that I can open up to. Or maybe just a voice in my head.
Growl.
Ragnarok: Hehe, *looks down* Sometimes I think I've gone crazy. *looks up curiously* I never asked, do you have a name?
Growls.
Ragnarok: Huh... *slowly closes his eyes* That's a nice name.
Slowly the black blood demon started to drift to sleep.

The scene starts to open up at the abandoned house in the human world. It starts to zoom in to the portal door that leads to the Boiling Isles
OH~
It now flies over inside showing the bright sky and sunlight of the land. It then crosses over to the Isles itself showing the dead Titan. Suddenly the title screen started to show.
Dragon Slayer of the Boiling Isles
I caught a glimpse of light (when I was empty inside) and through the nothingness (I found this world)
The scene shows the three friends walking through the city of Boonsboro. They passed by many townspeople eventually making it to the owl house where Eda, King, Baby dragon, Nights, and Hooty waiting for them with smiles on their faces
I'll wander calling your name. Until the end of my days! 'Til I find the answer!
The three friends ran up to their friends. Both Luz and Y/N gave Eda a big hug with smiles on their faces. Eda had an uncomfortable look at first, but then eased into the hug. King, and Baby dragon, join the hug, while Luke looks at the scene with a small smile. Nights rubs on Luke's leg as Luke just pets the nightfurry.
Right through my fingers I'm losing the light!
The scene changes with the eye of the Portal door. The eye open and ignite on fire. Luz jumps in front of it, with her cap on her, as she pulls out some glyphs in her pocket. She slams them together creating multiple light orbs around her.
Why can't I ever do anything right!?
Eda appears in front of her holding Owlbert in her hand. She spins her staff with a smirk on her face and was about to cast a spell but King jumps out from her hair, raising his hands up with a big smile on her face. Eda had a look of annoyance from King interrupting her.
This is the time!
Y/N jumps down in front of Eda with Zack's sword strapped on his back. He then summons fire in his right hand and lighting his his left. He smirks at the camera as his right eye glowed red and his left eye glowed a shooking blue. Baby dragon was on his head barking at the camera.
Throw it aside!
Luke appears from below in front of Y/N, with a serious expression on his face. He holds his blade in his right hand and has a demon claw in his left. His sword had black blood on it causing it to glow as he lift it over his head.
Take all your scars and just leave them behind (Oh)
Willow appears from below Luke and in front of him. She jumps up with both her arms out. Her eyes start to glow green as she lifts her arms up in the air. Giant vines start to appear behind her growing all the way to the top.
I'm going to get there dead or alive!
Gus comes from the left scattering in front of Willow. He was holding a book under his left armpit. He pulls the book out and opens it up to a random page. He slams his left hand on the book and then lifts it up. Suddenly two clones of him appear beside him as they all smile at the camera.
But on my own I cannot survive!
Amity does a spin in front of Gus. She then stops in front of the camera as she holds her hands over her head. She then brings them down, with them being on both sides of her. Her hands start to glow as she looks at the camera with a smirk. Suddenly abomination goo starts to cover the camera.
I don't want to lie to myself!
The scene opens up with a three frame slot showing Lilith, The golden guard, and the dragon guard. Lilith had an angry expression with her left arm out about to claw the camera, the golden guard had his staff out as his cap looked like it was flowing in the wind, and the dragon guard had his weapon in front of him. The frames then flip over showing: a Depressed Lilith that had a look of regret and shame, the golden guard who was holding his mask but showing his right red eye and some of his golden hair, and the dragon guard that was holding his mask in one hand, showing of his dark red glowing eyes that had a scare coming down from it, some red hair, and he was holding his weapon in his other hand.
Keep on the fight, that's right! (I'll never lose and cry)
The scene opens with Luke staring into the darkvoid. He was holding Sally's necklace in his right hand and his sword in his left. He looked down the whole time contemplating. Suddenly Sally appeared on his left side with a sweet smile and the little demon appeared on his right with a sinister smile.
Keep running day and night! (It's time to rewrite)
Y/N was surrounded by fire as he had fire in his right hand and lighting is his left. He looked at the fire with determination on his face. Suddenly his mother and Zack appeared behind him on his left, Igneel and a fire dragon appeared behind on his right.
No matter what anyone says I'll find my way
Luz is seen practicing her glyph magic. She then looks up at the sky as she is thinking about all the events that played out. She then sees a picture of her , her friends and her mother. They were all smiling and hugging each other close. She holds the picture in her hand and smiles brightly at the picture, and goes back to looking at the sky.
Yea~ never go away~ (Never go away now!)
A hand suddenly comes and smashes the screen to bits. Belos squeezes his hand as the camera shows his bright blue eyes behind his mask. The camera then distances itself from the Emperor and shows him on top of his castle as he orders his supportents. Below him were coven scouts and the 4 shadow figures. They all looked like they were ready to battle. The camera then shows The owl house crew looking at the army as they were ready for a fight.
Nobody can stop me no way!
The scene shows Gajeel blitzing through multiple coven guards and charges an iron roar at them. Levy was at his side creating multiple script magic blasting through the guards. Lily was in his buff form using his red blade striking through all the guards. Suddenly a figure rushed at Gajeel cliding his fist with his. Gajeel smirked at the figure as he saw the figure smirking back at him.
That promise is engraved in my memory!
Luke, Willow, Gus, Amity, and Nights were all battling covent scouts. Luke using his blade and shadows, Willow tangled them up in plants, Gus using his clones to prank or knock them out, Amity summoning giant Abominations slamming them away, and Nights blasting them away with a blast from his mouth. A cloaked figure summoning a dark magic spell in his fingertips headed straight for Luke. Luke eyes widen as he quickly counter with his sword. He was glaring at the figure as the left side of his face started to turn demonic, while the figure looked at him with a smirk of interest.
We'll take it back, you just watch!
Eda, Lilith, Wendy, Carla, and baby dragon were all battling more scouts. Eda and Lilith would use combination glyph magic, Carla would power glyph magic, baby dragon would blow fire at them burning the scouts, Wendy would blast a dragon roar from her mouth blasting them all away. The dust would settle and a figure ran at Wendy. Wendy quickly grabs the figures hands as they both start to squeeze as they look at each other. The figure would smile at Wendy mocking her and Wendy would struggle at first but slowly her eyes would start to glow a bright blue
Everything that we lost, raise up in this world~
Luz was running at the guards striking them with multiple glyphs. She then runs at the castle and throws multiple ice glyphs on the ground. Ice pillars started to appear as Luz ran and jumped on each one of them. Once she reaches the top she jumps in the air above Belos. Belos looks up in the air and sees the human girl with a fire glyph in her right hand. She brings her right arm back and quickly brings it back forward trying to strike the emperor. Belos summons his staff and counters with his own magic. The two clash in the middle resulting in a bright explosion.
The end of our journey is on repeat
Y/N and the dragon guard were battling at an abandoned lake. The two would clash their weapons over and over again, dodging and countering each other. They would clash in the middle and glare at one another.
But I won't let it stand between you and me
Y/N was down on his knees panting heavily. He held his left shoulder with his right arm as he looked up at his opponent. He couldn't see their face since the shadows were blocking it but he could tell they were smiling sinisterly at him. He then looks down at Slayer in front of him and saw the demon smiling sinisterly at him
What are you fighting for!?
The scene shows Y/N's mother in a white void staring at a hooded figure. The figure had their back to her as he looked down. Y/N's mother had a look of sadness as she had her arms close to her chest as tears fell from her eyes. She yells the same words as the lyrics at the figure, causing the figure to flinch as a tear falls from his eye. For a split second it showed a teenage boy with red hair beside an orange hair girl and a black hair boy as they all smiled brightly.
Cause it's not over!
Y/N gets up from his knees and glares at the camera. Suddenly his right eye starts to go full red and the right side of his body slowly starts to change.
Rise up in this world!
Y/N picks up his blade and dashes at the camera. He lets out a battle roar and slash's the camera making everything go white

The scene opens up with Y/N looking at the sunset with a sad look on his face. Suddenly Luz came beside him and intertwin her hand with his. This caught his attention as he turned to the smiling human girl. He then felt someone rest on his shoulder. He turns and sees Luke just smirking at him. This made him start to smile. Just then all of his friends walked up and looked at the young dragon slayer with smiles on their faces. Y/N smiled at them then turned his face back at the camera and gave a smirk as his eyes started to glow red.
The scene opens with Luz in the corner practicing glyphs. Ever Since Lilith's discovery of glyph combination the young human girl has been practicing on how to combine certain glyphs together. However, she's been having a hard time trying to figure out how to combine them.
Luz: *draws a circle* Maybe if I *balls up the paper* No that won't work either.
She then throws it to the side and takes out another piece, trying to come up with the right spells. Before she could start, King came out of nowhere.
King: Luz! I need your help! *points* I think Francois is trying to start a rebellion!
The camera shows a castle made up of plushies. Francois was in the middle of it sitting with his minions of plushies. Behind his back was a knife, waiting to cut down the king of the plushie castle. King shutters, seeing Francois trying to strike him down.
Luz: In a minute King *goes back to drawing glyphs* I'm getting so close figuring out this glyph combo.
King: *annoyed* It's always glyphs and portals with you these days! What about King!?
Luz: *points* Why don't you ask Lilith or Luke for help? Lilith was in the emperor's coven, she has more experience with unworthy mobs then anyone.
The two looked over and saw Lilith finishing up a glyph, only problem is she looked very very scary. Most of her hair was sticking out, she had many bags under her eyes, and she was staring at it very intensely.
Luke: *beside Lilith: Uhhhh Lilith?
Lilith: *giggles darkly* Watching the ink dry is the best part.
Luke: *sweat drops* We really need to get you a hobby.
Both Luz and King shutter as they agreed with Luke on that.
Hooty: *appears on the other side of Lilith* A cup of tea for my cup of tea. That's you Lulu.
Lilith: *fixes her hair* Hootsifer you really are such a gem. *pats his head* How do you always know what to do?
Luke: I question that one.
Hooty: Awww don't worry *wraps himself around Luke* I still love you Lucas.
Luke: *grunst* God damn it.
King: *whispers to Luz* What's going on? Is Hooty blackmailing them?
Luz: *looks at them* Oh I think they're actually friends.
Hooty: *offscreen* Best buddies!
Luke: *offscreen* Still on the fence with that one!
Luz: *finishes a glyph* Ok! This will work for sure! Hey guys!
Everyone turned their attention to Luz.
Luz: *holds the glyph up* Now you see me...
Luz then slams the glyph on her chest making her disappear. Everyone let out a gasp as Hooty unwraps himself from Luke, as he falls on the ground.
Luke: Oww...
Luz: *reappearance* Now you don't! *looks at herself* Oh I guess it only lasts as long as I hold my breath.
Luke: *face on the floor* Laammme...
Luz: *pouts but smiles* Still pretty cool huh?
King: *hugs her leg* Don't ever do that again!
Lilith: Do that again! How ever did you accomplish it!?
Luz: *tries to shake King off* Well since you guys figured out we can combine glyphs to make new spells I've been experimenting.
Luke: *gets up* You can put this much work into magic but not in normal school work?
Luz: *rolls her eyes playfully* Anyway, I got the invisibility spell from your history books Lilith.
Lilith: Fascinating. As the led of the Emperors coven, *starts to walk* my aid can be very helpful in
Lilith then trips and falls over King's plushy kingdom. The kingdom falls over and lands on the ground.
Luke: Lulu you tripped.
Lilith: I can see that.
King: An ambush! *grabs a nearby doll* Man, defend your ruler!
King throws the doll at Lilith, and before it could hit her Hooty takes the hit for her.
Hooty: *falls in her arms and speaks weakly* I'm done for Lulu.
Luke: *deadpan look* Take it easy, it's just a doll.
King: *offscreen* A warrior!
Lilith: Lucas is right Hootisfer, this is just make believe.
Hooty: Too die in your arms. Avenge me.
Hooty then "dies" in Lilith's arms with X's on his eyes. Both Luke and Lilith give Hooty a deadpan look as they were both hit by King's dolls.
Luke: *looks at King* Hey!
King: The king of demons yields to no one!
Luke: *growls and mutters* You are about to be the King of dead demons.
Lilith: Historically demons have never been unitain under a single rule until Belos. There is no King of demons.
Luke: *coughs* Nerd *cough*
Lilith glared at Luke as he just smirked. They were then hit again by King's plushy as they glared at him.
King: Blasphemy! Clearly you know nothing of my rain of terror! Allow me to tell you.
Luke: *rolls his eyes* Here we go.
King: I was once the mighty King of Demons. I was beloved almost as much as I was feared. But one dark day, an evil spell was cast...
In one illustration, a giant green hand takes a large crown from King's head. Transition back to King, who falls to his knees.
King: ...transforming me into this!
Hooty: Oh what happened to your crown of power?
Luke: You mean that burger crown we almost died for?
King: That was just to test you guys' dedication to me. You all passed. My real crown is still out there. But when I shrank my memories are kinda... Fuzzy.
King pats his head trying to remember more of his past but can't seem to be able to. Luz kneels down and pats his back to comfort him.
Luke: Wow isn't that convenient. A hole in your memory just like the holes in your story.
Hooty: Ha! *gets up* Nice one Lucas! Up top!
Hooty lifts up his face to Luke as the young half demon slaps his face, giving Hooty a black eye.
King: *offended* Hey! I remember plenty!
King: I remember army's bowing before me!
King: Being served the greatest of feast!
King: And falling from a massive height
Luke: I- Wait what?
King: One day I will return to my rightful place and with my second in command *dramatic hand pose* ALL SHALL FEAR US!
Luz: *picks up King and tickles him* Aww you're going to be such a good tyrant. *baby voice* Who's a good little tyrant?
King: *giggles* Me! It's me!
Luke: *rolls his eyes* Oh yea *crosses his arms* Where is your second in command?
King: *gets off Luz* Well he *noticed something* Actually, where is baby dragon?
Luz: *looks around* Now that you mention it, where is Y/N as well?
Y/N: *offscreen* Up here!
Everyone looked up and saw Y/N walking down the stairs while holding baby dragon. Once the two made it down, the group noticed baby dragon had a sad look on his face.
Luke: Esh what's wrong with the baby?
Y/N: *looks down at Baby dragon worried* I don't know. He's been like this all morning.
Luz: *walks up to him* Awww *pats his head* What's the matter boy?
Baby dragon: *whimpers*
Y/N: That's all the response I get when I ask him.
Y/N lays baby dragon on the couch as the small dragon curls up into a ball letting out sad whimpers. Nights comes out of Luke's shadow and starts rubbing on the sad dragon.
Luz: Awww poor baby.
Hooty: *stretches towards him* Maybe he's hungry. Oh! I know! I'll cough up a worm!
Hooty started to cough up a worm, but Luke stopped.
Luke: Yea, how about y-you not do that.
King: *jumps on the couch* Neh. Second in command just needs his King to make him fell better.
Luke: *unimpressed* Uh-huh.
Baby dragon looks up at King and starts rubbing his head on him.
King: Haha! See!
Y/N: *sweat drops* Riiight *looks at the others* So what was going on?
Luke: Well *gesture to King* This guy was telling us how he was "the King of demons" again.
Lilith: His dedication wouldn't be so charming if it wasn't so sad.
King: *jumps off the couch* Don't blame me for your ignorance *marches out* I'm not a liar and I can prove it.
King leaves the room as baby dragon and Nights follows him. Nights just shakes his head at Luke and continues to follow them.
Lilith: *insulted* He called me ignorant! Me!
Luke: I mean...
Hooty: Lucas!
Luke: Alright alright.
Luz: *walks up to them* Stop it you guys! This story is really important to him!
Luke: Luz, I have played along with a lot of tales and let me tell you they all end very very badly.
Lilith: Agreed! *hands on her hips* You want us to indulge in his silly fantasy!?
Hooty: I am a house of principles! You are asking me to lie! Hoot rages!
Y/N: *helps Luz put the castle back together* King is still family, so let's at least go along with it for his sake.
The three continue to give Luz and Y/N a raised eyebrow. Suddenly they hear King. They turned and saw him struggling to get something through the doorway. Baby dragon barks at King , getting his attention. King looks at the baby and sees him putting his head down. Getting the message King puts the one of the objects down as the baby grabs it with his mouth. He turned his head walking through the doorway. King followed the baby's example and did the same thing. The two walked in front of the group and looked at them.
King: Alright, *points at Luke, Lilith and Hooty* you three will regret ever doubting me. We are going to my castle.
Baby dragon/Night: *bark* Yea!
Y/N/Luz: Uhhhhh...
Luke: *lays on Y/N and Luz's shoulder* Oh look at that guys. King wants to show us his castle.
Both Luz and Y/N could hear the sarcasm in Luke's voice.
Hooty: What's wrong guys? I thought you said we should just "go with"—
Luz: Go with him! Right Y/N!?
Y/N: Y-Yea go with him! We should go with him!
Luz: *pushes Luke and Hooty* Not that I can ever forget what I just said!
Luke: (Ohho this is going to be fun.)
The group walks over to King and stands beside him. Luz takes Eda's staff while Lilith walks over and grabs her.
Lilith: My historical expertise is being questioned and I will not allow it.
Luke: Just want to prove that you are right huh?
Lilith: *looks at Hooty with a smile* Hooty would you like to accompany us?
Hooty: *gasps* Oh I'll get ready!
Luke: Wait ho-
Before Luke could finish a loud sound was heard. The group looked over and everyone's faces went pale. What was happening was Hooty ripping himself from the door. And let's just say it was very very disturbing. The sound itself was like someone having one of their limbs getting cut off. When all was done Hooty was in a little house and at the door where he wanted were guts... That were moving... I'm going to be sick.
Hooty: Portal Hooty! Reporting for Hooty!
The group had different reactions: King, Baby dragon, and Nights had tears coming from their eyes shaking their heads as they watched it all. Lilith had a pain/disturbed reaction as she held her heart for dear life. Luz was busy air vomiting, looking at the camera for a bit, and going back to air vomiting, Y/N had passed out on the ground and Luke...
Luke: *throwing up in the bathroom* BLAUGH! I KNEW THAT HOUSE WAS GOING TO MAKE ME VOMIT! *holds his mouth as he throw up more in the toilet* BLAUGH!
After... That happened.. The camera showed Eda getting out of the shower and was wearing a blue bathrobe. Outside the others began to fly off to King's castle: Luz and Lilith using staff and Y/N and the others using their wings.
Eda: *noticed everyone gone* Where did everyone go? Man they made a mess in here. *shrugs her shoulders* Oh well it's been awhile since I put my feet up.
She meant that literally. She removed her feet from her body and laid down on the couch. The owl lady was enjoying the peace in quiet now that everybody was gone. But as soon as she was getting comfortable she noticed a note that was left behind by King.
King: "Off to my real castle! Don't wait up!" -Love Your favorite demon overlord.
Eda: *panics* Oh no! Not again!
Knowing the danger, Eda quickly gets up but forgets she had removed her feet from her body and ends up falling on the ground.
Eda: Biscuits... Wait, I'm alone. I can swear for real *gasp* SON OF A-
The scene changes outside the house, with Eda fully dressed as she was attaching her foot back to her body. How she was able to put her clothes on that quickly was a mystery. Anyway since Luz took her staff she needed to find a way to get to the others and fast. So she goes into the shed and starts riding in a tub with a fan attached to the back... Ok then. She then launches herself into the water and starts heading towards the others.
Chibi Timeskip: Everyone flying to Kings Castle
It has gotten a bit late since the others have been flying to Kings castle. So far there hasn't been any sign of a castle or land for that matter. Just a whole bunch of water and clouds.
Hooty: *strechts* Are we still flying? It's been hours!
Luke: Yea man my wings are killing me.
Lilith: Should we call it a day or perhaps a night. *giggles* Hooty, your sense of humor is infectious.
While Luke, Lilith, and Hooty were having a laugh a blast came out of nowhere making them dodge it.
Luke/Hooty/Lilith: Hey!/Hoot!/What the!?
The group looked over to whatever tried to hit them. They thought it was Y/N but the dragon slayer pointed and it was Nights and baby dragon growling at them.
Lilith: Don't you have control over him?
Luke: *sighs* Sadly no.
King: There it is.
The group looked over and saw a small island. They quickly glided down to it.
Lilith: This Island shouldn't be here! It's not on any of the maps!
King: *smirks* It's always there when I look for it!
Luke: *rolls his eyes* Yea yea.
Y/N couldn't help but smirk from this but he then hears whimpering. He turns and sees baby dragon with a worried expression. This confused him until something happened. For a split second he saw something. He couldn't make out what it was but was sure he saw a man holding something.
Y/N: (W-What was that?)
The group landed on the sandy part of the island and started to stretch.
Y/N: Maan flying around does stiff the bones.
Luke: You said it.
King: After I shrank I woke up here in Eda's arms and she carried me away. Like a little baby.
Y/N/Luz: Awwwww~
Luke: That is just-
Luke gets cut off from being elbowed by Luke. Luke rubbed his sides as he saw both of them glaring at him and Lilith.
Luke/Lilith: *groans* Fine. Aw.
Hooty: *gasps* Look!
The group looked over and saw that the mist was starting to clear revealing a small structure.
King: Ah. Home sweet home. *starts walking* Come on, let's go.
Luke: *sighs* This place has danger *walks* written all over it.
As the group started to walk Y/N stopped when he noticed baby dragon not moving.
Y/N: Baby dragon?
He sees the baby staring at the place for a bit. Suddenly a memory hit the small dragon
?: You'll be safe here._
Y/N: Boy? What's wrong?
Baby dragon breaks from his faze and looks up at Y/N. The baby starts to whimper and climbs on Y/N. Y/N holds the baby in his arms as he continues to rub on him.
Y/N: What's gotten into yo-
Luke: *offscreen* Y/N hurry up! We need to entertai *gets hit in the head* OW! I mean support King!
Y/N: Coming!
Y/N quickly runs after the others but looks down at baby dragon as the baby continues to whimper. The dragon slayer gives the baby a worried look, trying to figure out what was wrong with him. Y/N manage to catch up to the others. The group were walking through the forest heading towards the castle.
Lilith: *pushes some of the vines* That tower is certainly intriguing, but-
Lilith ends up tripping on some rocks but luckily her best friend stopped her from falling. Hooty extended his neck by a nearby tree trunk catching her before she fell.
Lilith: *looks at Hooty* Thank you Hootsifer.
Hooty: *in the tree trunk muffled* No problem
Lilith: *looks at the group* But couldn't we landed a little closer.
King: *points up* The tree tops are so thick, this is our only way in.
Luke: *looks up* Couldn't Y/N just burn them then?
Luz: *looks at Luke* We are not burning nature!
Luke: Alright alright.
King: Plus, now I can dramatically do...
King walks over and grabs a bush that was blocking their path. He pauses for a moment and then...
King: This!
He then pulls the bush back and shows off the castle
Y/N/Luke: Whoooa!Uhhh...
Luz: *amazed* Ooooh! *looks at King* A door fit for a tyrant.
King: *overjoyed* That's me!
The two and Lilith start walking as Luke and Y/N were behind.
Luke: *looks at Y/N* Are we really doing this?
Y/N: Weren't you mocking us a little while ago?
Luke: Yea, *looks at the castle* That was before we came here with the word death written all over this place.
Y/N: Come on. *walks after them* What could go wrong?
Nights climbs on Luke's head and starts barking.
Luke: If I had a snail for everytime *walks after them* I heard that one before.
The group walks up to the keyhole door and stops. They noticed a whole bunch of rocks blocking their path.
Luke: Great. Now what?
Y/N: *thinks for a second* Smash it open?
King: Nah. *jumps up* I'll find you guys another way in. Just wait here.
King starts to climb in while saying "wiggle wiggle". But after he said that line a memory played in baby dragon's head.
?: Just wait here.
The baby let out a whimper and jumped out of Y/N's hands. He then followed King as the group just watched.
Y/N: *shocked* Baby dragon!
Luke: Guess he was worried about him.
While the group were busy worrying about the two, Lilith walks up to one of the nearby walls and sees a strange symbol carved into it.
Lilith: *touches the symbol* Huh. What a strange material. And this symbol. I've never seen anything quite like this.
Hooty: *stretches* Ha! I've seen better graffiti. I've got better graffiti on me.
Hooty raises his side, showing "LUZ!" and three cool S's graffitied on him. There was also more writing on it "Y/N!" and "You're annoying"
Luke: *smirks* Yea.
Lilith: Kids, look! This predates any language I know.
Luz walked over and went to go see what Lilith was talking about, while Y/N continued to look at the closed off keyhole in worry, and Luke was just standing there watching.
Lilith: King's story may be a fake, but these ruins are a history mystery.
She then lets out a little giggle as Luz just looked at Lilith.
Luke: *sweat drops* We reeeallly need to get you a hobby.
Suddenly the caves started to crumble. Lucky Y/N dodged it in time but the rubble ended up falling on top of Luke as he let out a yelp. King then pocks his head out and looked at the group.
King: Eh? What's a mystery?
Luz: [Laughing.] The only mystery is how Lilith can be so smart and so wrong at the same time. Academics, am I right?
King: You so are.
Lilith gives Luz a dirty look, and she sheepishly smiles back.
Y/N: Where's baby dragon?
Before King could talk, baby dragon appeared and rubbed on King. Y/N let out a sigh of relief.
Luz: *nudges him* Worried about him?~
Y/N blushed a bit from Luz's teasing.
King: *looks around* Where's Luke?
Right on que, Luke appeared out of the rubble as he glared daggers at King.
Luke: This better be worth it.
The scene cuts to the group walking inside the dark cave. The group was having a hard time to see so they lit up the room. Luz and Lilith used their light glyph, Luke used his light magic, and Y/N used his fire. As it started to get brighter it showed what was inside the room: rocks are stacked to make the same figure of something with two or three round rocks as a body and a crescent-shaped head placed horizontally.
Luke: This is creepy.
King: Ah, the chamber where I would devour the hearts of my foes. The taste was cold and bitter, but I bet yours would be sweet, Luz.
Luz: With all the sugar I eat, it better be.
Luke: Surprised you let King get a taste before Y/N.
Y/N/Luz: *blushes bright red* LUKE!
Luke: *shrugs his shoulders* What? I'm just saying.
Moving on from Luke's comment, the group started to walk deeper into the room. As they continued to walk Luz looked down and saw a shadow move. She lets out a gasp and quickly turns around. The only people behind her was Luke and Y/N.
Y/N: What's wrong?
Luz: I-I thought I saw something.
Luke: *keeps walking* Maybe all of this nonsense is getting to your head.
Luz just glared at Luke as Y/N patted her shoulder.
Y/N: Don't listen to him. *walks* Come on.
Luz lets out a sigh but looks behind her. She was sure she thought she saw something. She then hears low growling and looks down. Both Nights and baby dragon were growling and looking around. She stares at them for a second and knows something is here.
King: *jumps on Luz's shoulder* Can't believe your eyes huh?
Luz lets out a little yelp and looks over at King.
King: My castle does have that effect.
She wanted to say something but also wanted to keep King happy.
Luz: *forces a smile* Yeah. *Sheepish laugh.* So much wonder.
She then looks behind her to make sure whatever that shadow was, wasn't behind her. The latino girl then starts to catch up to the group with baby dragon and Nights closed behind, keeping their guard up. As the group continues to walk and look around the room.
Hooty: *loud gasp* Are you seein' what I'm seein'?
Lilith and Luke looked over and walked over to where Hooty was looking at. The two walked over to the wall and saw a carving of a giant demon resembling King.
Luke: *shocked* What the-
Lilith: *gasp in shock* These carvings, they're ancient.
Hooty: Wh-what does that mean?
Lilith: Well, if I've never heard about this ruin, let alone this entire island, who knows what other parts of history we scholars have missed?
Luke: *look of horror* No...
Hooty: Are you saying...
Luke: Noooo...
Lilith: That he may actually have been...
Lilith and Hooty: [Shocked.] The King of Demons?!
Luke: *stays silent*... Guess you two were wrong.
Lilith/Hooty: *looks at Luke* You were wrong too!
Luke: *groans* I know! I don't want to admit he was right!
Y/N was looking at some carvings on the wall with baby dragon. The two saw a picture of a titan and with him a dragon. The Titan was on top of the dragon and from the looks of it they were flying high in the sky.
Y/N: Huh... So did he have a dragon buddy too?
Y/N heard whimpering and saw baby dragon staring at the carving. The baby had a sad expression as he put his paw on the carving.
Y/N: *worried* Baby dragon.
Meanwhile Luz was with King, and the King of demons was standing on top of some rocks, doing some kind of warrior pose.
King: Ah, my kingdom. I, uh... [Wipes a tear from his eye.] I got some bone dust in my eye.
Luz couldn't help but smile from King's happiness. She then sees something that caught her eye.
Luz: What was up there?
The two looked up and saw a hole in the ceiling covered in rocks.
King: I-I can't quite recall. I just remember a muffled roar, probably some minion praising my name.
Luz: Well, uh... wanna head back? This is all so cool, but Eda's probably on her third cup of apple blood by now, and the last time, it was real hard getting her off the roof.
Luz slowly starts to remember that time Eda had toooo much apple blood.
Flashback
At the owl house the group was outside looking up on the roof. Why you ask? Simple Eda was currently up there, drinking her 3rd cup of apple blood.
Y/N: *yells* Eda get down from there!
Luz: *yells* You don't have magic! You could get hurt!
Eda: *slurring her words* Daahhh! What do you know!? We witches are tough as kneels! *hits her head with the cup*...Ow.
Luke: *sighs* Yea that just screams tough. Just get down already!
Eda: Dahh! You're not my mother!... Are you?
Luke: No. And if I was I would saw you are a pain in the- *notices Luz's glare* Neck.
Eda: Oooohhh~~ Mr. Get girls is all high and mighty since he got his cherry popped.
Luke: *squeezes between his eyes with a light blush* I hate that you found out about that.
Luz: How are we going to get her down?
Luke: *folds his arms and closes his eyes* With any luck she'll fall down eventually.
Just like that she did, except she fell on Luke.
Luke: *groans* Why?
End of flashback
Luz just shutters from the memory. Suddenly Hooty knocked Luz on the ground.
Hooty: Your Majesty! It's me, faithful ol' Hooty. You know I was messin' around with you the whole time, right?
Luz: *gets up confused* Your Majesty?
Lilith: *rushes over and knocks Luz down* It's clear these ruins are of immense historical value. Perhaps you could tell me more about them.
Luz: *gets up and dusted herself off* What is going on?
Luke: *walks up beside her* They found a giant painting on the wall and realized he was telling the truth.
Luz: *looks at Luke in shock* Wait what?
Luke: Yea. I had the same reaction. *notices their stares* Oh no! I'll admit i'm wrong, but I'm not brown nosing.
King: Well maybe I could, regale you with some tales.
Luke:... I'd rather drown.
But Lilith and Hooty were interested and decided to listen to King. Both Luke and Luz gives the two a deadpan look. But the two heard a noise which caused them to turn around.
Luz: Did he hear that?
Luke: Yea.
The two started walking to where the sound was coming from. They made it to the corridor and used their lights to find the sound. What they saw was a bunch of claw marks and rocks on the ground.
Luke: I'm not liking this.
Luz: *to the others* Guys? Are you hearing this?
The group ignored them as Hooty, Lilith, and Nights were interested into King's story.
King: I'll show you where my throne used to be. It was made from the teeth of my enemies and... *Laughing* Boy, was it awkward to sit in.
Lilith, Hooty, and Nights go and follow King as Luke gives them a glare.
Luke: That's it *marches to them* I'm putting an end to this.
Luz: *grabs his sweeter* No! Don't!
Luke: *looks at Luz* What do you mean no!? Weird creepy sounds mean danger! We *points* Should leave from said danger!
Luz: But this means a lot to King!
Luke: And go into death's door! I like living Luz!
Y/N: *walks up to them while holding baby dragon* What are you guys talking about?
Luke: *looks at Y/N* Where have you been?
Y/N: I've been looking at the drawings *looks at baby dragon while rubbing him* And trying to cheer baby dragon up. What about you two?
Luke: Well me and *points to Luz* Crazy pants over here
Luz: *offended* Hey!
Luke: Hear a creepy noise! *points to himself* I want to get the hell out of here and avoided said danger! *points to Luz* She wants to say all to spare King's already high ego!
Y/N: *understanding* Oh... Well why don't we stay?
Luke: Exac- *eyes widen*... I beg your pardon.
Y/N: This means a lot to King. The least we can do is stay to the end.
Luke: I think you missed the part, Dangerous! Area!
Y/N: Well we've gotten stronger haven't we? I'm sure we can handle whatever it is.
Luke:... Overconfidence leads to once downfall.
Y/N:... Did you quote that from a movie?
Luz: I want to say he got it from a book.
Luke: You two are missing the point!
Y/N: Well how about I stay with them and keep them safe while you and Luz go and check it out.
Luz: Yea! Luz and Luke the dynamic duo!
Y/N: *pretends to be hurt* Heey. I thought we were the dynamic duo.
Luz: *giggles and rubs his head* Nah.
Y/N: *dramatic gasp* Betrayal.
The two let out a giggle as Luke glared at them.
Luke... I hate both of you.
The scene then cuts to both Luke and Luz walking through halls where the noise is coming from.
Luke: *mutters* I can't believe we're doing this.
Luz: Faster we find the noise, the faster we can get out of here.
Luke just groans as the two continue to walk deeper into the cave. As they continue they see the walls are line with recesses containing stone figures, resembling the little ones in the foyer, partially covered in fleshy goop.
Luke: I'm really not liking this.
Luz: What are these things?
The two stopped by one figure with its "hand" sticking out. The two looked at each other and groaned in disgust and passed by it. However, Luz being Luz, decides to walk back.
Luke: Luz. What are you-
Luz: I can't leave him hanging.
Luke: Please don't-
But it was too late. Luz gives the stone figure a high five. This caused the statue to fall on top of her.
Luke: *squeezes between his eyes* I'm really beginning to wish I stayed and listen to King's high ego now.
The half blood demon walks over and helps push the statue off Luz. Once he was done he noticed Luz looking up at the ceiling shocked.
Luke: Uhh Luz?
Luz doesn't say anything as she continues to look up. Luke looks up and sees countless other figures in recesses towards the ceiling.
Luke: What the-
Luz: *gets up* There are so many.
Demon: Creepy. Also you should look over there.
Luke follows the demon's words and sees something.
Luke: U-Uh L-Luz.
Luz turns over and sees one one of them is missing.
Luz: W-Where did-
Suddenly a hissing noise was heard. The two quickly look over and see something running away out of their sight.
Luz: What was that!?
Luke quickly gains a determined look and quickly draws a dark spell circle. This makes his shadow grow as him and Luz fall into it. The shadow stretches to where the creature was and tries to catch it, however the creature was gone. The two exited out the shadow.
Luke: Damn it! It got away!
While Luke was being frustrated Luz was busy holding herself as she was shivering.
Luz: *shivering* I-I always forgot how cold and dark your shadow's are.
Luke: You can tell me about it later. Right now we need to get to the others and get out of here.
Luz: *goes pale* C-Can we please not use your shadow?
Luke: *holds his hand up* Your concern is noted *snaps his finger* But highly ignored.
The two fell into Luke's shadow, much to Luz's horror, and goes towards the others.
King was busy telling Lilith, Hooty, Nights, baby dragon, and Y/N all about his castle. While he was talking he couldn't help but worry about baby dragon. Even though there was a few times he would smile from King's stories he would continue to be sad.
Y/N: (What's going on with you boy?)
Suddenly a shadow made it's way towards the others and out came Luke and Luz. The young human was holding himself.
Y/N: Guys!
The others turned and saw them.
Lilith: Luz? Lucas?
Luke: Alright people shows over we have to leave!
While Luke was talking to the others Y/N was kneeling beside Luz.
Y/N: You ok?
Luz: *rocking back and forth* So dark. So scary.
Lilith: What are you talking about? There is still so much to learn.
Luz: *shakes her head and stands up* This environment is not conducive to learning. It's conducive to death!
Luke: And I for one want the conductive to life a.k.a living!
King: *begins to understand* Ah, you both saw the horrifying monstrosity room. Don't worry, they can't hurt you.
Suddenly a hissing sound was heard that made the whole group go on guard. They got into a circle with their weapons in their hands.
Luke: That doesn't sound like something that can't hurt us.
As the group continue to look around, Lilith lifts up her light orb to found the source of the sound. Eventually the light landed on the figure as it was hanging from the ceiling. It was one of the rock creature was alive and had flesh around him. The creature slowly started to turned it's head upside down with a loud crack was heard.
Luke: ... And I thought those things were creepy when they weren't moving.
Luz: *Grabs King and runs* Let's go!
The group quickly started to run outside away from the creature. Seeing this, the creature jumps down and lands in front of them stopping their movements.
Y/N: *takes his sword out* Out of the way!
Y/N jumps in the air and swings his sword at the creature, but the stone creature blocks it with his stone arm. The two collide making sparks. Y/N let out a grunt when he heard baby dragon whimpering. He looks at the baby in concern. The creature sees Y/N with his guard down and pushes him off sending him flying. Quickly, Y/N holds baby dragon as he crashes into the ceiling.
Luz: Y/N!
The creature transforms his right hand into a claw and was about to strike, the distracted Luz, but Luke blocks it with his own claw hand.
Luke: Nice claw! Let me show you mine!
Luke transforms his other hand into a claw and the tries to stab the creature, but the creature grabs his arm and throws him to the side. It looks over to Luz and tries to claw her but Luz dodges it but ended up falling on the ground. The creature raises his hand and was about to kill Luz, until Lilith comes over and pulls out some ice glyphs. She activates them, making ice pillars come out pinning the creature on the wall.
Luz: *impressed* Damn girl! You've been practicing!
Lilith: You may admire my progress when we get out of here alive!
Luz: *gets up* Right! Guys!
Luke slowly gets up as he let out a groan.
Luke: Yea. Yea.
Y/N falls down from the ceiling as he looks at the whimpering dragon.
Y/N: *worried* Baby dragon.
Luz: Y/N!
Y/N looks up and sees the others.
Luke: Let's go!
Y/N: Coming!
The group started to run heading for the exit. The monster sees this and was having trouble getting out of his ice prison. Seeing the predicament he was in, it started to change it's body slipping free from the ice prison. Once it was free it gave chase towards the others. It jumped onto the ceiling and started crawling after them. The monster lands in front of them staring at them.
Y/N: *whispers* Lilith, watch baby dragon for me.
Lilith nods her head and takes baby dragon from Y/N, as the young dragon slayer charges at the monster. The monster blocks his attack with and axe arm. Y/N starts to unleash a barrage of attacks but the monster blocks everyone of them. The creature then knocks Y/N away making him hit a nearby wall. Y/N lets out a grunt as he sees the creature running over to him, lifting his axe and was about to deliver a finish blow. Before he could he was shot in the back. The creature turns and sees the person who did it was Nights, who was on Luke's shoulder.
Luke: My turn.
Luke rushes at the and summons his sword and was about to stab the creature, but it makes a hole in his stomach avoiding the stab. Luke's blade landed close to Y/N's head.
Y/N: Huh? That happened.
Luke: *deadpan look* You almost had your head stabbed and that's what you say?
The creature then grabs the boy's by their heads and throws them into a nearby wall. The boys slammed on the wall letting out a grunt.
Y/N: *rubs his head* Owww... That hurt.
The two slowly got up and saw the creature transforming his hands into axe's. The two got up and got into a fighting position.
Y/N: Hehe. Been awhile since we fought together, huh?
Luke: *smirks* Yea. You go high and I go low.
Y/N: *nods his head* Got it.
The creature then rushes at the two boys.
Luke: *dashes* Night's fireball!
Both boys rush at the creature while the young nightfurry starts to charge up a fire wave in its mouth. Y/N jumps in the air with his sword while Luke brings his sword over his left shoulder. They both go for a swing, but the creature blocks their attacks, making sparks fly in the air. The two grunted as they continued to break past his defenses. The creature then pushes the boys off as they went flying. Catching their balance, Y/N flipped and jumped from the wall, and Luke skatted on the ground and dashed at him. Seeing the boys rushing at him the creature slammed his axe arms on the ground created a smoke cloud. They stopped on the ground and stayed back to back with their weapons on the ready.
Luke: So he's trying to blind us huh?
Y/N: *smirks* Lucky for us *closes his eyes* we don't need to see it.
Luke follows Y/N and closes his eyes.
Y/N: *sniffs the air* (It's scent.)
Luke: *hears hissing* (It's sound.)
The creature hissing started to become louder then softer. It showed the creature's eyes as it was climbing the ceiling. It looks at the two boys, as it slowly starts to turn its head. It then jumped down with his axe hands out. The axes was getting closer and closer to the boy's head. It was about to land the kill... Until...
Y/N/Luke: *opens their eyes* (NOW!)
The boys dodged the attack and then swung their weapons at the creature, while letting out a loud battle roar.
SLASH! SLASH!
Both boys ended up slicing the creature's arm clean off. They dashed out of the smoke.
Luke: *looks at Nights* NIGHTS! NOW!
The nightfurry was charging up a big fireball in it's mouth. Nights fired it and it hit the creature dead on, causing an explosion. Everyone had to shield their eyes from all the dirt and derby flying all over the place. Once it started to settle down Nights barked and ran over to Luke.
Luke: *rubs his head* Nice job.
The nightfurry purred from Luke's head rubbing.
Y/N: *holds his sword over his shoulder* That was some nice teamwork.
Luke: *stands up* Seems you got better.
Y/N just chuckled.
Luz: *runs up to them* That was amazing!
Lilith: *walks* That was truly fascinating! But I really think we should leave now.
Luke: Agre-
Hiss..
Everyone's eyes widen as they turned and saw the creature getting back up. He slowly started to reattach the body parts he lost from the boys and Nights attack. Once he was fully healed he brought out his claw and axe hands.
Luke:... You've got to be kidding me.
Y/N: *puts his sword away* Welp *summons fire in both his hands* I guess we need more fire power.
The others followed Y/N's lead: Luz and Lilith pulled out some glyphs, Luke transformed his arm into a demon arm, and Nights started charging up a fireball. The group was ready for the creature to attack them. Soon the creature slowly started making his way towards him, and was about to attack until.
BOOM!
It was hit by an explosion. The group was shocked by it.
Luz:... Did any of you-
Before Luz could finish the person jumped down and landed in front of the group.
Everyone: *shocked* EDA!
Eda: *looks at the group* Get out of here! *looks back at the creature and pulls out another potion bottle* I'll hold it off and meet you all outside!
Y/N: Wait what!?
Luke: Are you insane!?
Luz: We can fight it together!
Eda: You can't beat this thing! Now go!
Y/N: But Eda-
Eda: *Yells* I SAID GO!
Y/N:... *salutes* Yes ma'am.
The group started to rush out. The creature slowly started to recover and saw the group running out. It lets out a hiss and was about to charge at them but was hit by another potion explosion by Eda. It shakes it head and looks at the owl lady.
Eda: *holds up a bottle and toss it in the air* Your opponent is me.
The creature lets out a his as it stands up and glares at Eda.
Eda: *smirks* It's been awhile. *narrows her eyes* Miss me?
The creature lunges at Eda with his axe and claw arms.
Outside the castle
The group made it outside the castle safely, but before they could recover they heard an explosion coming from inside.
Hooty: More running! Less Standing!
Lilith: *looks at Hooty* Edalyn told us to wait here!
Y/N: But we can't just leave her in there alone!
Luz: Y/N is right! We have to help her!
Another explosion happens getting the group's attention. They all turned and continued to see explosion after explosion.
Luke: *mutters* Come on teach...
Soon the explosions stopped as the group continued to look.
Y/N: *worried* Eda...
Soon a figure started to walk out from the palance and it was Eda. She was holding her left arm in pain as she made it out and fell to her knees.
Lilith: *rushes towards her* Edalyn!
The kids let out a breath of relief, happy that their mentor made it out safely.
Lilith: You're hurt. What of that horrible monster?
Right on cue the creature appears behind the two Clawthornes. This shocked everyone seeing how the creature had no damage on its body. It then raises his axe arm about to strike down the Clawthorne sisters.
Y/N: *rushes* NO!
As Y/N ran to action baby dragon, who was on the ground behind him saw him rushing off. As the baby looked at Y/N he started to see a familiar boy rushing off. Many feeling fueled inside the baby's head. Shaking his head the baby dragon ran off without anyone noticing.
Y/N pulled out his sword and was about to block the creatures attack, but out of nowhere a blue barrier appeared, between the two. The creature's arm started to go limp and fall on the ground.
Luke: What the?
The creature pulled back its arm as it glared at the group. It then slowly started to walk deeper inside the castle away from the group's sight.
Eda: *smirks* It can't get past the entrance. We're safe now.
Y/N let out a sigh of relief as he put his sword away.
Luz: That thing must be guarding this place against intruders.
Luke: *crosses his arms* Why would anyone want to come here though?
King: But it's my castle. *jumps off Luz's shoulder* How could we be intruders?
Tenchin started to flow into the air as Luz started to sweat and struggle on what to say.
King: *looks at Luz* Y-You don't believe this is my castle.
Luz looks away with a nervous gaze. She wanted to say she did but she didn't want to lie to him. The expression alone gave King the answer he needed.
King: *looks at Y/N* Y-Y/N you believe me r-right?
Y/N: *startled and starts to sweat* K-King I- Well, I mean.
Y/N let out a sigh as he turned and looked at King away. Y/N always said he hated liars but here he was lying to the one he saw as a little brother. The dragon slayer's silence was proof that he didn't believe King either. Both Luz and Y/N's silence hurt the King of Demon's heart deeply. He then turned over to Luke and awaited his answer.
Luke: *notice Kings stare and looks at him* As much as I don't want to hurt your feelings, I didn't believe this was your castle to begin with.
Demon: Ouch, and I thought I was cold.
Luke: *mutters* Shut it.
King: *hurt* Guys, you think I would lie to you.
Luke: Do you want honesty orrrr..
Luke then gets bitten by nights on the leg. The half demon held his leg as he glared at the nightfurry.
Luz: *tries to comfort him* King I-
Eda: *walks up to them* You're not lying. You just don't know the truth.
Eda falls on the ground with a grunt as both Lilith and Y/N were beside her to catch her. Lilith pulls out some cloth and wraps it around Eda's bloody arm.
Eda: It's time to tell you how we really met.
Flashback
8 years ago, Boiling rain was falling; a younger Eda flies down on her staff and sets foot on the shore.
Eda: *Voiceover* Eight years ago I was looking for a place to hide from the Emperor's Coven. I never knew this place existed and it just... appeared out of the mist. So, I landed.
Young Eda looks at the holes the burning rain is making on her cloak, then notices the ruined tower in the distance.
Eda: *Voiceover* Now, I was one hot tamale, but the boiling rains were even hotter. I needed shelter.
Young Eda entering the ruins, just like in the cold open.
Eda: *Voiceover* But when I found it... I wasn't alone.
She notices that shadowy figure running past her. She readies her staff.
Young Eda: Who's there? Reveal yourself!
She turns around and gasps as she see what was trailing her. From behind a small rock formation, a small, furry creature with a skull mask on its head jumps out and wags its tail. It's King as a baby. The baby King tilts his head, and Eda lowers her staff. King then picks up a crescent-shaped rock and puts it on top of an incomplete figure.
Young Eda: Did you make all these? What are you?
She starts petting King, who happily wags his tail.
Eda: *Voiceover* I assumed you were just some stray dog. But then...
The two look up and see the monster towering over them, brandishing its axe-hand. Young Eda grabs King and bolts, barely avoiding the axe swing.
Eda: *Voiceover* ...that thing was gonna kill us both, so I picked you up and bounced.
Young Eda and King are fly out of the ruins. Approaching its magical boundary, the monster fashions its limbs into a bow-and-arrow and fires at them. The stone arrow hits King, breaking off his left horn and rendering him unconscious. Young Eda, having fallen off her staff, continues her escape on foot, grabbing King and his broken horn.
Cut to Eda looking sympathetically at the baby King as they fly away from the island.
Cut to a little later at the Owl House. Young Eda looks on as Baby King stacking piles of household objects, similar to the rocks in his castle.
Eda: *Voiceover* I'd gotten you the collar, 'cause... well, that's what you do when you get a new pet. But then...
Young Eda looks on as Baby King stacks household objects upon one another, similar to the rocks in his castle. He completes one stack and stands proudly.
Young Eda: *Leans back on the door frame and snorts* Ah, look at you. A king amongst his subjects.
Baby King: King... King! *He falls down and yelps.*
Young Eda: *Surprised* It spoke. *To King* Yeah, that's right. A king. *Walks over and kneels down* You know what else kings do? They command armies and eat delicious feasts.
Baby King claps and makes happy noises. Young Eda continues gesturing kingly yarns to Baby King as he looks up with big, attentive eyes.
Eda: *Voiceover* And that's how you got the idea you were some despotic overlord.
End of Flashback
Eda: Oh, but you were finally happy. So I kept playing along with it.
Demon Luke: Wow, that is sad behind sad.
Luke: (Shut it.)
King: *Shocked from the truth but then becomes angry* Y-Your lying!
Eda: *looks down sadly* I'm not.
Eda reaches inside her hair and brings out the piece of King's broken horn. King sees it and is shocked beyond belief. This was enough evidence for him to show Eda wasn't making that story up. Everword that she spoke was all true. He then takes the broken horn from Eda and stares at it. He lets out a gasp as he starts to remember his past life in the castle.
Flashback
A baby King was in the temple, standing on a pile of rocks and presenting himself to his army of little rock figures.
King: *overvoice* M-My army?
Transition to another flashback, showing baby King grabbing a small insect and eating it.
King: *overvoice* M-My feast?
End of flashback
King: M-My life... It was all...
Everyone looked at King worried. Nights was the first one to walk up to him as it chipped worriedly.
Y/N: K-King?
Breaking out of his shock, King looked down at the horn and threw it on the ground.
King: Aah! No! Keep that thing away from me! It's messing with my head!
Luz: *tries to calm him down* King, it's gonna be okay.
King: *Despondent; panicking* Y-You're all just making fun of me, like usual, right?
Everyone looked at each other and then back to King. Telling him this isn't a prank that they were pulling. All of this was real.
King: *Hyperventilates* No! No, no, no, no! No, no, no, no, no, no, no!
Unable to handle the truth anymore, King runs off deep into the forest.
Luz/Y/N: King!
Nights quickly runs after him as Luke watches. Seeing King like that reminded him of himself. The way he couldn't handle the truth when he figured out he was a half demon. The reason Luke couldn't say anything was he didn't know the right words to say to the young demon King. The group ran off after him but Y/N saw Luke not moving.
Y/N: Luke?
Luke: *looks up* I'm fine.
Demon: Are you?
Luke: *walks* Let's go after him.
Y/N nodded his head and followed the group.
A few minutes had passed and everyone was looking around trying to find King and Nights.
Luz: King?! King! Please, come back!
Lilith: I can't fly. The tree cover is too dense. I regret ever playing a part in this.
Hooty: Is this what regret feels like? I hate it!
Luke: *walks passed them* You get used to it.
Luz: I lied to him, even though I knew he trusted me. Now, he's all alone.
Y/N: *pats Luz's shoulder* Well all lie to him.
Luke: Technology you two lie to him.
Y/N: *glares at Luke* Not the time Luke.
Luke: I know I know. Just needed to calm myself down.
Eda: This island is small, and he's even smaller. He can't have gone far.
The group nodded their heads but then someone noticed something else.
Y/N: Wait... Where is baby dragon?
Luke: *thinks for a second* Now that you mention it, I didn't see him run after King with Nights.
Eda: Guess we have two people we need to find. Let's split up.
The group nodded their heads Luke and Lilith started to split up as Y/N and Luz stayed behind. Luz was still busy beating herself about King, and Y/N was busy worrying about baby dragon.
Eda: *puts her head on both their shoulders* Hey don't worry we'll find them.
The two looked at Eda as she rushed off to find King.
Y/N: I'm going to go and find baby dragon.
Luz: *rubs her eyes* Ok, be careful.
Y/N nods his head and smiles. The young dragon slayer runs off into the forest. Luz stands up and nods her head. Now isn't the time to start blaming herself, she needs to go find King and make things right. The latino girl runs off into the forest and goes in search of her friends.
With Luke
Luke was currently walking in the forest trying to find King and baby dragon. But right now he was beating himself up. He couldn't help but feel useless the whole time. He starts to feel guilty of not helping King when he realized his whole life had been a lie. Something Luke could relate to.
Demon Luke: Don't tell me you're still beating yourself up about the whole King situation.
Luke lets out a tired sigh. He didn't have to look but he saw the demon leaning on one of the trees with his arms crossed. He might not realize this but overtime the demon slowly started to appear more and more into the real world.
Demon Luke: Come on man. It's not like it's our fault his life was a lie.
Luke didn't say anything, he just continued to walk ahead. The demon let out a sigh and appeared in front of Luke.
Demon Luke: Seriously? You're just mad you couldn't find the right words to feed his already over-headed ego?
Luke: *growls* I think you forgot his ego is already shattered.
Demon Luke: *over dramatic* Oh yes how could I forget, *pretends to be King* "My whole life was a lie and I realized I am the King of *straight face* Nothing."
Luke just continues to glare at the demon.
Demon Luke: And you're mad about that? Really?
Luke It's not just that! *looks down* I-It's just... *looks at his hand* He's like me.
Demon Luke: Like us? We lost a sister, he lost his ego.
Luke: *looks at the demon angry* It's because he had fake memories! This whole time he thought he was ruling over demons, but it turns out his memories were all a lie!
Demon Luke: Oh like how we lie to ourselves about Sally's death?
Luke: *grits his teeth and squeezes his hand*...
Demon Luke: Why are you really upset? Because the others lie to him? News flash *points to Luke* You wanted to play along with this little lie for a joke, and surprise surprise ha-ha, very funny.
Luke: *continues to squeezes his hands until blood it drawn*...
Demon Luke: We're mad because we couldn't confront him? *pretends to be Luke* "Oh hey, sorry about your memories being a lie, I can totally relate." Then he's going to lash out on us and we have another thing to worry about.
Luke: *grits his teeth as starts to become fangs*...!
Demon Luke: *looks at Luke* Creatures are always just the same. Lie and bottle up their emotions over and over again. Thinking it's going to ease or get rid of the pain they hid inside, but sadly it doesn't. Truth of the matter, sooner or later the truth will come out and the bottle that holds those emotions will break. And when it does-
Luke: *looks up with his eyes black and red* SHUT UP!
Luke's words echoed through the forest as a shockwave of dark energy blew the trees. The demon looked at Luke unfazed as he watched him breath in it out.
Demon Luke:... You lash out around everyone and everything around you. *starts to fade* Until your... All... A... Lone.
The demon vanishes leaving Luke by himself. Luke continues to pant for a bit as he looks down at his bloody hand and stares at it. The demon words start to replay in his head over and over again.
Luke: *squeezes his hand*... I hate that guy.
Demon Luke: *offscreen* I heard that.
Luke just sighs as he continues to walk. He comes to a stop when he sees a nearby tent. Now normally when Luke sees something like these he would walk away but he feels something familiar about this, or more so the scent. He walks over to the tent and opens it. Inside the tent was dried up blood and a single bed. As the young demon looked closer he noticed that the blood is black.
Luke: *touches it* Black blood?
He then walks over to the bed and sees a book there. He picks it up and opens it and just like the grimoire it had the same black blood writing.
Ragnorake: Dear grimoire, another day has passed and like always I wake up in the pool of my own blood. It's always been like that ever since I remember. You're probably asking yourself why don't I do anything? Well, it's just I don't really hold any hatred towards anything or anyone. It's like I'm an empty shell... I feel nothing... I am nothing... But the times I do feel emotions... Is the rare times... When people are smiling... Their smiles are like a life I love to have... I wonder... Can I, too, find that happiness?
Luke; *looks down* Dad...
?: Well Well?
Luke's eyes widen as he turns and sees a muscular demon standing at the entrance with his arms crossed. This was the same demon that attacked Luke and the others many years ago, Vetto.
Vetto: What delectable despair.
Y/N
Y/N: *walking and yelling* Baby dragon! King! Where are you two!?
As Y/N continues walking he bushes some bushes away and finds baby dragon. He smiled as he slowly started to approach him. As he did he noticed he was looking down at a pestle.
Y/N: *Curious* What is-
Before Y/N could finish he sees a giant collar on the floor that has been ripped in half. As he looked at it he noticed that there was some writing on it. He kneels down and sees that it had one name.
Y/N: Flare?
Y/N then hears whimpering and he turns and sees baby dragon crying. This confused him for a moment until suddenly a red circle appeared around Flare. Fire started to spread around and Y/N had to shield his eyes. Once it was over Y/N opened his eyes and saw he was in some kind of field, except the field was made of fire. He looked around for a second but then heard a voice.
?: Catch.
Y/N: *turns around* Huh?
Y/N looked up and saw a ball heading towards him. He was about to dodge it but the ball faded right past him. He was confused as he turned and saw a small baby dragon with the ball in his mouth.
Y/N: B-Baby dragon?
The baby dragon ran past Y/N and headed for a young boy. The boy also was made of fire as he bent down and rubbed the baby's head.
?: I said catch not burn.
The baby let out a chirp which made the boy chuckle.
?: Still you did bring it back to me. Good boy... Flare.
Y/N: *eyes widen in realization* But that was... The name on the...
Suddenly the scene started to change. The boy was laying down near a fire tree as he was rubbing the baby's head.
?: You and I are partners for life. Whenever you're in trouble I'll be there rushing in and when I'm in trouble you'll be there.
Flare lets out a bark and smiles at the young boy.
?: *Smiles* Flare and Igneel. The two of us against the world.
Y/N: I-Igneel?
The scene changes again back to the pedestal. Flare was sitting on it barking happily as a man was looking down at him. It was hard to make out his face but Y/N, for some reason, could feel sadness coming from him.
?: I know you won't understand what I'm going to do [Flare tilts his head] but just know that no matter what I always love you.
The adult attaches a chain around Flare's neck. He then stands up and draws a spell circle. The collar around Flare's neck starts to shine. The shine starts to die down and the figure looks down at Flare with a sad gaze.
?: This should keep you safe. I really hope you forgive me one day.
The figure slowly starts to leave. Seeing the Flare tries to run after him but ends up bumping his head on a barrier. Confused, the baby tried it again but continued to hit his head over and over again. Upset and scared of the figure getting further and further away, Flare's body starts to change as he starts to get bigger and takes a form of the same dragon form back at the owl house. Y/N was shocked to see the baby had transformed. But as soon as it did chains started to appear and wrapped around the fully grown Flare's arms, legs, and torso. Flare lets out a loud roar that echoed as he looked and saw the figure facing away from him. Tears starts to fluid the dragon's eyes as it continues to roar at the figure.
?:... Goodbye... Old friend...
A spell circle appeared below the figure as flames erupted from it. The figure slowly started to vanish as Flare let out one final cry.
FLARE: *PAIN AND SORROW* IGNEEEELLLLL!
With Luz
Luz: King!? King!?
Luz was still walking around the forest trying to find King, and with any luck baby dragon. As she continued to look for him she stopped and found him sitting on a log. Beside he was Nights trying to comfort the sad demon King... Or if he really was the King of demons. Luz walks up to him and sits beside him.
King: *Still upset* Eda was right, wasn't she? I was never king of anything. I'm nobody.
Luz: You are somebody. And I love that somebody very much. I'm sorry I lied about what I believed.
King: *lets out his pain and anger* Everyone lied! And I was too caught up in the fantasy to realize it! *Starts sobbing.* I... I don't know what to do, Luz! *Sniffles* I can't tell what's real and what's fake!
Nights walked over and rubbed his head on King. The words alone hurt Luz deeply. Hearing someone she really cares about hurting this badly hit her hard. It almost made her want to cry herself. But there was something else. Something that was really bothering her.
Luz: *looks up at the castle* Something's not adding up. One of your memories is falling, right?
King: *Wiping his eyes* Probably another stupid thing I made up!
Luz: No! What if that's a real memory?
King: Why does it matter?
Luz: You said you remember a roar from up in that shaft. Maybe that's where you fell from! Eda found you in those ruins. There's gotta be a clue in there about where you came from!
King: *hesitant* I don't know, Luz. What if the story gets worse?
Luz: You might have been alone before, but you have us now. Whatever we find up there won't change that. So, what do you say?
As King struggles to decide he hears Nights barking. He looks over and Nights as the young Nightfurry smiles at King, telling him "We won't know unless we try". King smiles at the Nightfurry and looks over at Luz.
King: *gets up and grabs her hand* Ok.
The three start to walk into the juggle. On the way they run into Eda and Lilith. The two saw them and were overjoyed that they were ok.
Eda: King! *runs over but stops a few feet away, looks down in shame* *Sigh* You're mad at me. I get it. I would be, too. *Kneels down* I'm so sorry, King.
The owl lady looks away ashamed. She was ready for him to yell at her, for him to scream hateful things at her... But instead.
King: *pokes her cheek* Boop.
He does that. Eda looks over confused.
King: No more secrets, okay? You have to promise me.
Eda: *smiles with tears in her eyes* Only truths. I promise.
Luz: Great. Now, before we leave, we have one more thing to check out. [She points toward the tower in the distance.]
With Luke
Luke was staring the demon down with a glare as the demon smirked at him. He then digs into his shadow and pulls out his blade.
Luke: *on guard* Who are you?
Vetto: *surprised* (That blade. I see. It chose you.) *smiles and holds his hands up* Hey don't worry, I'm not here to fight. *smirks* But then again, if you're down to rumble *eyes start to glow* I am more than happy to give you despair.
Luke continues to glare but he can tell by the aura the demon had around him, that he was unbelievably strong.
Vetto: *puts his hands down* Relax, I'm just here to visit the home of the strongest demons that ever lived.
Luke: Strongest?
Vetto: Surely you know. The black blood demons were the most powerful demons created in the Isles.
Luke: Created?
Vetto: Of course. They weren't born into this world like you and I, they were created by one man and one man alone. Born from the dark arts of magic the Black Blood demons roam the Isles for one purpose:... To kill that man.
Luke: *shocked but then glares* The classic story of the creation turning on it's creatures. A story as old as time.
Vetto: *chuckles* Oh my dear boy, The man wanted them to kill him.
This shocked Luke even more.
Luke: Why would he create them to kill him? Why wouldn't he do it himself?
Vetto: Hehe In time you'll find out. Killing him isn't as easy as you would think. But regardless the black blood demons failed and they were all wiped out, except for one survivor, or more so a failure. Ragnarok.
Luke: (Dad?)
Vetto: Ragnarok was... A failed project. He lacked... Well everything. He had a body but lacked a soul, emotions, a purpose. He was just an empty shell that roamed this land. That's why he was an easy target for small demons and witches. Those who lack purpose in life can't find the strength to fight. Just like my purpose is to give despair to others. With a strong purpose you truly existed in this word.
Luke hears the demon's words and listens carefully to them.
Vetto: And yet he found his purpose and once then he found his strength. And then he went to put an end to his creature. But before he could kill him he said one thing
Flashback
Ragnarok held a figure but the throat and had his demon claw ready to pierce him. But he didn't, he just stared at the figure.
?: What are you waiting for? Finish it.
Ragnarok:... Hatred on brings more hatred. If I kill you here, with this hate flowing inside of me, then I will only care out even more of a cycle of hate further into this world. I will not allow anyone else to live in this cycle.
Luke was surprised to hear his fathers words
Vetto: And that fool ended up dead. But I'll never forget his dying words.
Ragnarok: *bleeding out on the ground* I was... Lucky enough... To be blessed... And to experience...love and to be... Loved in return... I'm so happy... I got to see them...
Luke:... *mutters as he struggles not to cry* Dad...
Vetto: I didn't understand it at first *looks at Luke* But when I see you I get it now. *raises his arms* The half demon and human! The son of Ragnorak! And your just like your old man! One half of your soul is confused, conflicted, drawing in despair. While the other is-
Vetto gets cut off when he sees Luke's inner demon glaring at him. Vetto's eyes widen and soon everything goes black. Vetto looks around trying to figure out were he was until... A sound was heard... It was a piano.
Vetto turns around and sees the demon Luke playing on the piano.
Demon Luke: It's been awhile since I had someone enter here. Well besides Luke.
Vetto continues to look at the demon. Soon the demon stops playing and then stands up.
Demon Luke: ... Don't try to understand me...
Suddenly the demon appears in front of Vetto with his hand on his chest.
Vetto: *shocked by the demons speed*..!
Demon Luke: *goes up to his ear and whispers* You'll regret it.
STAB!
A blade comes from the demon's hand, piercing Vetto through the chest. Vetto eyes widened in shock, until... He was back at the tent with Luke. His eyes were dilating sweat dripping down from his face. He couldn't tell if that was real or fake. But instead of being afraid he slowly starts to chuckle and then breaks into a full on laugh. Luke looks at him confused and in shock on why he was laughing.
Vetto: I SEE NOW! HAHAHAHAH! NOW I UNDERSTAND! *looks at Luke* KID! TELL ME! WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE!?
Luke: *eyes widen*..!
Vetto: WHY DO YOU FIGHT!? WHY DO YOU LIFE!? WHAT IS IT THAT YOUR TRULY WANT TO DO IN THIS WORLD!? PROTECT IT!? DESTROY IT!? GIVE IT DESPAIR!? GIVE IT HOPE!? COME ON KID! TELL ME! TELL ME! TELL ME!
Vetto's words echoed through the whole tent as he continued to give Luke a sinister grin. Luke looked at the demon trying to find the words.
Luke: *looks down* I-I
He was unable to say anything. Vetto stopped smiling as he looked at the half demon.
Vetto: I see. You are incomplete. Then tell me this: Why are you incomplete? What is stopping you from becoming whole?
With Luz
We cut back to the castle, the monster is maintaining one of the little rock statues when it suddenly reacts to something unseen. It hisses and looks back. It sees an exploding position being tossed and gets hit. Lilith flies in on her staff, aiming Hooty like a bazooka.
Hooty: Special delivery... [Deep voice.] Pain!
[Hooty is him!]
Hooty fires a potion out of his mouth, and it hits the monster again. Nights was on top of him and fired fireballs at the creatures. Suddenly, something invisible flies low past it. Luz takes a deep breath in, and she, King and Eda reappear on her staff, just like the glyph spell they showed off earlier.
Eda: *stops her staff* You sure they'll be alright?
Luz: Hooty knows what to do.
Hooty is coughing up potions in a rapid-fire fashion, and Nights firing off fireballs, while Lilith is holding his head and looking disgusted.
Eda: [To herself.] Are you sure they'll be alright?
While Lilith, Nights, and Hooty are battling the monster, Eda flies up to the blocked hole in the ceiling. She sticks a potion into the rocks and jumps down toward Luz and King.
Eda: *smiles* Ready?
Luz: *overjoyed* I always wanted to do something like this!
Luz readies a glyph as Lilith and Hooty continue holding the monster off.
Hooty: They're in place!
Lilith: *looks at Hooty and Nights* Hold your breaths!
Lilith activates an invisibility glyph and they inhale, turning themselves invisible. The monster hisses and looks around confused before getting hit by the invisible Lilith. As Luz aims the glyph at the overhead potion, the monster grabs Lilith by the head, turning her visible again. Just then, Luz changes the paper into a fireball and flings it toward the potion. It hits, blowing the hole in the ceiling open. Hooty hits the monster with his face, freeing Lilith. She grabs her staff, and starts following Eda, Luz and King up the open hole.
Luz: Fly, fly, fly!
They start going up the hole, with Lilith producing a glyph to light the dark tunnel. The monster gives chase. Our heroes soon reach the end of the tunnel.
Luz: There's...
King: There's...
Zoom out to reveal that the tunnel has lead to a small, empty room covered in cobwebs.
Jija50/Eda: Nothing!
[Sorry...]
Everyone gets off the staffs and starts exploring. King hears hissing, looks down the hole and sees the monster coming in fast.
King: *Panicked* It's coming!
King shrieks and scats as the monster swipes its arm. It has the five cornered against a locked door. King backs into it, and his touch triggers a medical reaction.
King: Huh?
The door opens, causing everyone to fall backwards into a secret room. They hurriedly close the door as the monster reaches toward them, causing its goopy hand to get cut off. Everyone takes deep sighs of relief.
Eda: Huh, I think we're safe... for now. But how did we get the door open?
King: Huh?
King looks down at his paw. He was confused how the door responded to his paw. Lilith starts walking further into the room.
Lilith: *Dumbstruck* This room is old. Very old.
They begin exploring the room, which is decorated with decaying plants and a skylight on the ceiling. In the middle of the room is a golden pedestal. King walks up to it and sees the remains of a broken eggshell at the top.
Luz: I knew there was something up here! I'm like the mystery whisperer. The butler did it, magnifying glass, secret door.
[Luz is our little Angel.]
Lilith: It looks like that creature was made to guard whatever was in here.
Luz: King, does any of this feel familiar to you?
King: I'm not sure, but I think I know how to jog my memory. Eda, I'm ready. *Extends his paw*
Eda: *worried* You sure?
King: *nods his head* I am.
Eda takes the broken piece of horn out of her hair and gives it to King, who places it on his stump. He gasps as his memories return to him.
King: *Voiceover* I remember a deep roar.
An image showing an unborn King growing inside his egg. A demonic roar is heard from outside the shell.
King: And then, something happened..
The walls around started shaking, and it sounded like an explosion from. The unborn King reacts to the sound.
King: ...but I was too small to do anything. So, I went back to sleep.
Fade to black. Fade in again, this time to a more developed King inside the egg.
King: And the next time I woke up...
The eggshell starts to crack, and a slit of light shines through. King reacts to the light and reaches for it. Cut to the secret room, where King emerges from his egg and tumbles down the steps of the pedestal. The newborn King opens his eyes for the first time and sees the castle's mysterious symbol on the skylight. King then pulls himself across the room until he reaches the door. It magically reacts to his touch and opens, revealing the monster behind it. The two look at each other. The monster picks up King, cradles him and walks to the shaft. It dives down the hole with King in its arms, and King reaches for the light from the top as it disappears from view.
King takes the broken horn off his stump, a look of revelation on his face.
Luz: King...
King: That roar. It meant "son". I don't know how I know that, but I do. Someone called me their son. Luz, I think it was my dad!
Luz: Maybe that was him on all those wall carvings.
The monster breaks through the door down and prepares to strike with his axe-hand. As Luz cowers in fear, King defiantly runs up to it and raises his paw.
King: Stop.
The monster suddenly pauses, and it bows to him in respect.
Eda: That thing was defending King from us this whole time? Huh. Alright.
Lilith takes a picture of the wall carvings with an instant flash camera; the others look at her.
Lilith: Oh, sorry. Were we discussing important revelations? I'll... *Clears throat* I'll just... do this later.
She takes the photo from the camera and sheepishly hides it behind her back. Nights just glared at Lilith. Hooty eats and swallows the camera.
Luz: [To King.] Maybe you weren't exactly the King of Demons, but...
King: I was important to someone. [Starts tearing up.] If... If he's out there, I want to find him. I'm not that old! It could be possible! [Sniff.] Would you help me?
Luz: I'd do anything for you, buddy.
King: Then... can we keep him? [Points to the monster.]
Luz/Eda/Lilith: No!
Hooty: *wraps around the girls* Yes!
Nights just barks.
Luz: L-Lets ask Luke and Y/N first.
Eda: Speaking of which where are the-
Before anyone could say anything a loud roar was heard as everything started shaking. This made the group break out of Hooty's hug.
Eda: What was that!?
With Y/N
The fire around them disappeared and Y/N was back at the pedestal. Y/N starts panting heavily. He was confused from what he just witnessed. But he slowly started to put the piece together.
Y/N: *looks at baby dragon* Flare?
Flare: *whimpers* He left me. Why? *tears starts to fall* Why did he leave me? Why did he leave me here? Why? *fire started to surround him* WHY WAS I ALL ALONE!?
A bright flame circle started to surround Flare causing Y/N to shield his eyes. The young dragon slayer had to take some steps back but then quickly dodged as a giant foot was about to squish him. As he rolled over and looked up his eyes widened as Flare had grown to a full dragon and let out a giant roar that echoed through the whole island. The roar was so loud Y/N had to cover his ears. Even though he did he could hear the pain coming from that roar.
With Luke
The roar echoed to the tent as both Luke and Vetto looked towards it.
Luke: That sound...
Vetto: Welp guess our conversation is over. *starts to walk away* Once you find your purpose, seek me out. Until then *looks over at Luke* See ya around, Half blood.
Vetto disappeared into the night. Luke runs out and sees Vetto is gone. He looks down at his bloody hand and recalls Vetto's words. Just then he heard stomping and saw a dragon stomping around.
Luke: The hell?
Shaking his head he rushed over to the scene, but he took one last look at his fathers tent. He shakes his head and runs over to where the dragon ones.
With Y/N
Y/N was busy jumping and dodging Flares raged out attacks. Flare would continue to let out roars as they echoed.
Y/N: *worried* Flare.
?: What's going on here?
Y/N eyes widened as he turned and saw a teen boy standing on a tree branch, with his arms crossed. It was the emperor of dragons Ryuga.
Y/N: W-Who are you?
Ryuga: *jumps down beside him* Surprised you haven't heard of me. I'm Ryuga, emperor of all dragons.
Y/N: Emperor of dragons?
Ryuga: *looks over at the outraged Flare* And it seems a dragon is raging out. *smirks* Guess it needs to know its place.
As soon as Ryuga takes a few steps, Y/N draws his blade at Ryuga's neck.
Ryuga: *looks down at his blade unfazed* And what are you doing, small fry?
Y/N: I might not know who you are or what you are, but if you so much as hurt Flare *lifts up his other hand and summons fire* I will burn you into a pile of ashes.
Ryuga: *looks at Y/N* I see, you are the son of Igneel Dragneel.
Y/N: Got a problem with that?
Ryuga: No. That man is already a failure of dragon kind. *looks back at Flare* Abandoned his people, his pride, all that fool has in nothing.
Y/N wasn't interested in this story. He put his sword back on his back and started walking.
Ryuga: You're a dragon slayer aren't you? Why don't you finally use that tittle and slay a dragon?
Y/N: *stops walking and stays silent*... *turns to Ryuga* I'm not going to kill him. I will safe him.
Ryuga: *smirks* Show me then.
Y/N: *turns back* Just watch me.
Y/N summons flames wings and then flies towards Flare, as Ryuga watches while smirking.
Meanwhile, Y/N was able to fly in front of a raged out flare, who was busy burning the forest and smashing the ground.
Y/N: *yells* FLARE!
The dragon hears his name and looks over at Y/N.
Y/N: Listen boy! I know you are upset but- WHOA!
Y/N gets cut off from the dragon throw ball at him. Luckly Y/N dodged it and looked back down at flare.
Y/N: Come on boy just-
Y/N dodges a claw attack from Flare.
Y/N: Listen to me!
Flare charges up another fire ball at Y/N, but this time Y/N ate it.
Y/N: *gulps* Thanks for the meal Flare. But-
He gets cut of from Flare knocking him down with his elbow. Y/N ended up crashing on the ground as he lets out a groan. As he tried to get up Flare appears above him and was about to stomp on him. Before his foot could land Y/N fell into his shadow escaping getting crushed. Flare ended up shattering the ground where Y/N was and let out a roar into the sky.
Y/N appears outside the shadow far away from where Flare was. He looked around panting and confused about what just happened.
?: *offscreen* You're welcome.
Y/N looked over and saw Luke.
Y/N: Oh *gets up* Thanks Luke.
Luke: No problem. Now, What the hell is going on?
Y/N: W-Well...
Luz: *offscreen* Guys!
The two boys turned and saw Luz and the others flying towards them.
Y/N: Luz!
They landed and ran up to the boys.
Eda: What the heck is going on!?
Lilith: *notices Flare* I-Is that a dragon!?
Everyone looked over and saw the dragon that was lashing out destroying the forest.
Luz: What's a dragon doing here!?
Hooty: Who cares!? Let's get out of here!
Luke: Agreed!
Y/N: No we can't!
Luke: What!? You want to fight that thing!
Y/N: I don't want to fight him either!
Everyone: Him?
Y/N: *sighs and looks over at Flare sadly* That dragon is flare.
There was a moment of silence.
Luke: Uhhh... Who's Flare?
Y/N: It's baby dragon's real name.
Luz: Baby dragon's name is Flare! That was better than the names I came up with.
Luke: *looks at Luz* What names did you come up with?
Luz: Axel, Maxamellin, Dex, I was thinking of something that had an X. Sounds cool.
Luke: *groans and pinches between his eyes* This girl.
King: Why is he acting like this?
Y/N: Igneel abandoned him.
Everyone was shocked when they heard that.
Y/N: Right now, all the rage builds up inside of him, he's letting it out.
Luke starts to remember his demon's words about bottled up emotions.
Y/N: *squeezes his hands* I want to help him.
Everyone looked at Y/N and was worried.
Luz: *walks up to him and puts her hand on his shoulder* We will.
Y/N turns to Luz who was smiling at him. Y/N smiled back. As the others walked over and stood side by side.
Luke: Soooo what's the plan?
Luz: *pulls out a glyph* The bigger the circle.
Eda: *smirks* The stronger the spell.
Flare was busy destroying the forest, causing fires and destroying the ground. All the anger, sadness, and loneliness he was feeling. He was letting it out for the world to see.
Flare: WHY!? WHY!? WHY DID HE LEAVE ME!? WHHHHYYYYYYY!?
Flare let out a roar that echoed through the island. Unknown to him a certain dragon slayer was walking up to him.
Y/N: You sure about this King?
King: *on Y/N's shoulder* I want to talk to him. He's my best friend too.
Y/N nods his head and then he felt Nights on his other shoulder barking in agreement. Y/N smiled and then looked over at Flare.
Y/N: *lifts his hand* Sorry boy, this is going to hurt you more than it's going to hurt me.
Y/N shoots out a bolt of lighting at Flare. The lighting hits the dragon causing him to scream. Flare turns around and begins to growl and snarl at Y/N. Y/N takes a deep breath in and then...
Y/N: FLARE!
Flare continues to growl at Y/N.
Y/N: IGNEEL ABANDONED YOU!
This made Flare's eyes widen for a bit but then glared down at Y/N.
Y/N: BUT THAT DOESN'T ME I OR ANYONE ELSE WILL!
King: YEA!
Nights barks in agreement.
Flare: LIAR! LIAR! STOP LYING TO ME!
Flare lets out a bloody roar as he starts to charge at Y/N and the others. The three continue to stand their until...
Y/N/King/Nights: NOW!/BARK!
On one side Luz and the girls, and Hooty, had finished drawing an ice glyph and on the other side Luke had drawn a giant black spell. The group activated and an Ice arm appeared on one side and a shadow arm appeared on the other. The arms crashed together trapping Flare while Y/N headbutted the dragon on the head with his own.
From the force of the headbutt Flare ended up falling on the ground, struggling to get up from the concussion. Y/N looked down at the baby with blood dripping down from his nose. He whips the blood away and slowly approaches the baby dragon. The dragon looked up at Y/N, and the young dragon slayer looked into his eyes. He could see pain, anger and most importantly sadness. He gives the baby dragon a small smile and gently grabs his face.
Y/N: Flare... I know it hurts... Being abandoned... Being left behind from the person you care about... But that doesn't mean there aren't other people who care about you. *starts to tear up* You're not a pet... You're not just my partner... You're my best friend... *rubs his forehead on his* And I'll always be there for you.
Flare eyes widened as the red in his eyes started to die down.
King: *jumps off Y/N's shoulder and rubs the baby's check* Second in command... Before you... I Thought I had an army... Ruling over people like a tyrant... And then I came here... And found out I'm not a King of anything... Just a silly kid with a sad dream... I thought nobody would want me anymore... But they didn't care about that... They cared about me... They loved me for me... *hugs the baby with tears in his eyes* And we love you for you two.
Tears started to flood in Flare's eyes. Soon the others started to walk out and hugged the dragon, well Luke eventually hugged him. Flare started to whimper as he could feel the love and care from them.
Y/N: Flare...

Inside Flare's head. Fire was all over the place. Flare was currently sitting down in the middle of it with a chain collar around his neck. The baby was laying down... Sad and alone... That was until
?: *echo* Flare...
Flare looked up
?: *echo* Flare...
Flare started to look around for the voice.
?: *echo* Flare...
[Song used: FAIRY TAIL Main Theme - SLOW]
He looked over and saw a boy in flames. The boy opened up his hand and looked at the baby dragon.
?: Come on boy.
Slowly the fire started to disappear from the boy... Revealing Y/N. Flare's eyes widened seeing his young friend smiling at him. Behind him, were all the owl house residents, they all smiled at the young baby dragon. Tears started to fall from the baby's eyes, and slowly Flare started to crawl to them. The chain that was around his neck started to fade away.
Y/N: Let's go home.
Flare slowly started to crawl and made his way towards Y/N. Once he stopped in front of him he sniffed his hand. He could smell: Kindness, happiness, and love... That was all the baby dragon wanted. Tears in his eyes, Flare jumped over and was caught by Y/N. He squeezes Y/N shoulder tight, never wanting to let go. Y/N hugged the baby dragon, keeping him safe. The fire around the place started to fade and took the form of The owl house.
Back in the world
Baby dragon clinched tight on Y/N crying his eyes out as Y/N hugged the baby tight.
Y/N: *tears in his eyes* I'll never let go of you... Flare.
The baby continued to cry out as the others approached them and hugged the dragon tightly.
Song Ends
After the little hug and crying section baby dragon cried himself to sleep, and Y/N was holding him.
Y/N: *sigh of relief* He finally calmed down.
Lilith: I can't believe a young dragon was able to take on such a form.
Eda: Agreed.
Luke: Welp that's another nightmares adventure we had to endure.
The group couldn't help but laugh from Luke's joke. But as they were sharing their laugh, Ryuka looks down at them and watched the whole scene. He had mix emotions on the events that played out. He was shocked, angry, and confused on how that was able to work. To get a clear answer he jumps down and landed a few feet away from. The group turns and looked at Ryuka.
Luz: Uhhh who is that?
Y/N glared at Ryuga, while the dragon emperor just looked at the dragon and then back at Y/N/
Ryuga: So you used emotions to take down the beast. A disgusting way to win, but who am I to judge.
The group stared at Ryuka until he sighs and starts to walk off.
Ryuga: You're a different breed of dragon slayer, I'll give you that. A word of advice though.
Y/N: If it's something about Igneel I'm not-
Ryuga: It's about you.
Y/N:...!
Ryuga: Inside is a burning desire to fight and destroy. Someday soon that fire will come out and it will be up to you to decide: Do I use this power to protect others, or do I use it to kill them?
Ryuga then walks away again but is stopped by Y/N.
Y/N: Why tell me this?
Ryuga:... I played to show the world the true power of the dragons. In order to do that I need strong dragons *begins to walk away* Not brats who throw tantrums.
Ryuga disappears from their sight as the others look confused.
Luz: *looks at Y/N* Soooo who was that?
Y/N: *sighs* Let's just go home for now. *looks at Flare* It's been a long night.
At the owl house
Luz was with King, as he was snuggled in his sleeping back. King was using a fork to carve a symbol into his collar medallion.
Luz: Whatcha doin' there, King?
King: That symbol was all over that tower. What if it's my name?
Luz glues the broken piece of King's horn onto the stump with glue, making it whole again. She wipes off some excess glue with her finger.
King: *cringes* Aah... gooey..!
We then showed King's room revealing the monster, which King had named "Jean-Luc", sitting lifelessly in the corner of his room.
King: [Put his collar back on.] It's too bad Jean-Luc stopped moving outside the ruins. I liked having a big, scary minion.
Luz was kinda glad it didn't since it freaked her out.
Luz: [Sheepishly.] Yeah. Too bad.
King: Luz, is it okay to still call me "King"? It feels kind of weird when I'm not the king of anything.
Luz: *smiles* Well, you'll always be king of my heart. That's good enough, right?
King: *thinks for a second but then smiles* Yeah! Goodnight, Luz.
King lays down in his bed as Luz kisses him on the forehead.
King: *lifts Francois* And Francois.
Luz kisses Francois.
King: *points at Jean-Luc" And Jean-Luc.
And that was Luz's limit.
Luz: Bummer, looks like I'm all out of kisses. Maybe next time, goodnight!
She then closes the door and leaves. King was a bit disappointing but still snuggled to sleep none the least. Suddenly a knock came from the door and it opened.
Y/N: Hey King. You still up?
King: Yep. What is it?
Y/N: *walks it* Well guess little buddy really wanted to sleep with you.
Flare: *talking in his sleep* King...
Y/N: You mind?
King: *shakes his head* Not at all.
Y/N smiled and put Flare beside King. Soon as the baby felt King, he snuggled with him with a smile on his face. King smiled and hugged Flare. Y/N couldn't help but adore the cuteness.
Y/N: Welp you two have a good night.
As Y/N was about to go King stopped him.
King: Wait Y/N! Can you kiss Jean-Luc goodnight?
Y/N looked over and saw some dripping flesh falling from Jean-Luc.
Y/N: *shutters* Y-You know I'm not the kissing type.
King: Is that why you don't kiss Luz?
Y/N: *blushes* That's different!
He instantly covers his mouth. He looked over and saw baby dragon still sleeping.
Y/N: *still covering his mouth* I'm just going to go now.
Y/N walks out and closes the door behind him. Even though King was disappointed he looked over at Flare and saw him still sleeping. He smiles and kisses the baby dragon on the head.
King: Good night Flare.
The two drift into sleep.
Dream
King was on top of Baby dragon and the two were flying high in the sky.
King: Onward noble Flare!
Flare: *bark bark* Yes my King!
The two flew high into the sky of the boiling Isles. But for some odd reason in the dream. Two figures were watching the two from a distance. A stone dragon and finally a giant version of King. The two looked at each other, smiled and looked at the two children.
Outside King's room
Y/N was leaning on the door and sighing. He looks down at his hand and starts to remember Ryuka's words.
Ryuga Inside is a burning desire to fight and destroy. Someday soon that fire will come out and it will be up to you to decide: Do I use this power to protect others, or do I use it to kill them?
Y/N:... *squeezes his hand* I will protect.
On the roof
Luke was laying down and looking up at the sky on the roof. He starts to remember all the events that had played out back on the island. He then remembers the demon's words.
Vetto: I see. You are incomplete. Then tell me this: Why are you incomplete? What is stopping you from becoming whole?
Luke slowly starts to close his eyes and wakes up in a dark void. In front of him was his demon self.
Luke: What does he mean incomplete?
Demon Luke: What indeed?
Luke: Not going to give me a straight answer huh?
Demon Luke: I would but I would just be beating around a dead horse if I did. I already gave you the answer not my fault if you keep forgetting.
Luke just stayed quiet as he looked at the demon.
Demon Luke: Anyway, you saw what happens when rage builds up. *turns around* Try not to let that happen to you.
As the demon starts to walk off...
Luke: Funny how you're doing the same thing.
The demon stops walking and just stands still.
Luke: You're telling people not to bottle up their emotions, and here you are doing the same. You're a hypocrite.
Demon Luke:... *turns his head* Touche. But unlike others *turns back around* I have a reason.
The demon starts to walk off and vanishes into the void, leaving Luke alone. Luke lets out a sigh and he looks at his hand.
Luke: Why do I exist? Dad, what was so special that you brought me into this world? *looks up at the void* Guess I have to keep leaving in order to find out.
With Luz
In the living room, Eda and Lilith are looking over the photos that Lilith took of the ruins.
Eda: I've never seen markings like this.
Lilith opens one of her books as Luz enters and sits down next to Eda
Eda: Hmmm... Ooh, is it some kind of ancient language?
Lilith: And those old carvings. Who were they depicting?
Eda: [To Luz.] Any ideas, "mystery whisperer"?
Luz: *pics up a picture* I don't know. But whatever we discover, we'll be there for King... no matter what.
The camera focuses on the photo, which is of the carvings depicting a large, spear-wielding demon who looks similar to King. But on the table was a picture of the same creature and beside him was a dragon. The two looked like they were roaring together in harmony.
Back at the Island
A lone figure was at the destroyed pedestal. He looked at it sadly remembered some events that happened. He then looks over and walks to the edge of the beach and stares at the ocean. When he looked at it a flashback played in his head.
Flashback
?: Can I take the blindfold off now?
?: *giggles* Almost dear.
?: Geez, why are you so impatient?
?: *chuckles* Sorry dad, I'm just so excited.
?: *giggles* Ok you can take it off.
The boy slowly starts to take off his blindfold and he sees a giant forest. Around said forest were birds flying in the sky and small little animals running around. What he also saw was they were at a sandy part of the Island.
?: *amazed* Wow! Where are we?
A woman with long red hair kneeled down beside the young red-haired boy.
Woman: This my son is Dragon Island.
The scene slowly starts to show they were on an Island in the shape of a dragon.
Boy: *Amazed* Dragon Island!?
A man with red hair walked over to the boy.
Man: That's right son *crosses his arms* This is the birthplace of all dragons.
Woman: And just like the Titan, this island was made from the remains of a giant dragon.
Boy: A dragon was that huge!? I only saw some that come up to the arm of theTitan.
Woman: *giggles* Yeah they were huge.
Boy: Hey mom.
Woman: *looks at her son* Hm?
Boy: If this is the home of all dragons, Why did they leave here?
The woman smiled almost happily when her son asked this question.
Woman: Well my son..
Man: *covers his face* Oh here we go.
Woman: *offended* What? I can't tell my side of the story.
Man: I'm just saying.
Woman: *gets up and pokes her husband* Well I'm saying: You better stop judging or you'll be eating with the snagglebeast for dinner.
Man: *eyes widen and immediately apologist* Sorry dear.
Boy: *sweat drops* (Mommy is scary when she gets mad.)
Woman: *clears her throat* Anyway, *looks at her son* What I was told and believed when I was a little girl: The dragon left this land because they wanted to explore the land, see more of what was out there. Living amongst others and enjoying a happy life.
Boy: Wooow.
Man: At least that is what your mother believes.
Woman: *rolls her eyes* Here we go...
Man: *offended* What? I can't tell my side.
Woman: I'm just saying.
Man: *mutters* Touche. Anyway, I believed the dragons left to spread their culture to the world. Show them all what the dragons are capable of.
Boy: That almost sounds similar to moms.
The woman giggles as the man gives his wife a blank face.
Man: *clears his throat* Similar but a little different.
Boy: Is that why they came to the Isles?
Woman: *nods her head* In a way, yes.
Boy: Then, why did it leave to a war?
The two parents stayed quiet for a second, but decided to tell their son.
Woman: It wasn't always like that. When the dragon first came to the Isles and met the witches. The two never really got along
Man: They saw each other as enemies but not to kill. More like stay away.
Woman: But in the Isles there were dangerous creatures lurking. Strong enough to kill witches and dragons.
Man: They saw this threat as dangerous for both. So they had two options: Continue to bicker with one another and perish, or set aside their differences, work together, and defeat this threat.
Woman: The two settle with the latter, and together they defeat the threat.
Man: The two saw they're combined strength: The dragon's with their strength and durability and the witches with their magic and keen reflexes. The two formed... Well not a friendship more like an alliance. They would help each other in their time of need.
Woman: Overtime the two started to get along well and eventually the two became friends. They made a sacred oath: The two promised never to kill each other.
As the boy listened, a question formed in his head.
Boy: But why was there still a war?
Woman: *sighs* When we are born, we lack the intelligence and understanding of things around us.
Man: But as we grow older we begin to understand and learn about said things. Same could be said for the witches. The witches slowly started to see the strength the dragons possessed compared to their own. They slowly started to fear them. They started asking the real questions: What would happen if the dragons went rogue? Forget about their promise they made to us? What do we do then?
Woman: Some believed the dragons would never do such a thing... But others... Others didn't.
Man: It became decided and agreed, the witches would take one side and the dragons would take another. During this time the dragons were still peaceful creatures, but as new kings were elected they start to wonder why did they continue this agreement... *squeezes his arm* So then...
Woman: *worried* Honey...
Boy: D-Dad?
Man:... Those damn fools... They massacred every witch, every living creature... Only leaving the dragon's to rule over all *grits his teeth* Bastards.
Woman: *gets up* Dear..
Man: They speak of pride, honor, oaths. Yet they would tarnish their own oath they made to the witches, and try to justify their actions. They deserved what came to them.
Woman: *pats her husbands shoulder* Dear. You're scaring him.
The man broke from his shock and looked at his slightly scared son.
Man: *kneels down* I'm sorry son.
Boy: I-It's ok.
Woman: *kneels down and smiles* But as we know this story does have a happy ending. A lone dragon who fights for what is right.
Boy: *smiles and overjoyed* Natsu!
Man: *smirks* There hasn't been a dragon alive that knows that name. Natsu, a dragon that didn't share the same beliefs of his fellow kind. With his strength, he taught the witches dragon slayer magic, and with his new army he fought against and took down the dragons.
Woman: Bring peace back to the isles.
Man: Well I won't say that. Some people still hold hatred to the dragons.
Woman: Well that might be true. *stands up* But I believe, one day dragons, witches, demons, all living things will live in peace and harmony.
The boy was amazed by his mother's speech.
Man: Dream big I guess.
Woman: Excuse me?
Man: What? I'm just saying.
Woman: Well excuse me for dreaming.
Man: You know that's not what I meant.
As the two continued to bicker the boy heard rustling in the bushes. He looks over and walks to the sound. He kneels down and sees red eyes looking at him. The boy let out a tiny gasp. The creature was about to run off but the boy called out to him.
Boy: Hey it's ok I won't hurt you.
It was quiet for a second until the creature started to come out. It revealed a small red baby dragon with small spikes on his back. It smelled the boy's hand and rubbed on it. The boy chuckled and rubbed on the baby. The baby purred from the boy's touch and crawled on his lap. The parents looked over and were surprised.
Boy: *rushes over to his parents* Mom! Dad! I found a dragon on the island!
Woman: A baby dragon?
Man: Impossible. There shouldn't be anything but animals and small insects on this island.
Boy: Can I keep him? *puppy eyes* Please?
Woman: *giggles* Ok. Ok. You can.
Man: But he's your responsibility.
Boy: *nods his head and looks at the dragon* You hear that Flare? You can stay.
The baby dragon known as Flare barked happily.
Woman: Flare?
Boy: Yea. It's a name I thought of for him.
Man: That's a *notices his wife's death glare* G-Great name son.
The boy chuckled as he hugged Flare tight
Flashback over
The figure looked at the ocean and started to walk away. But if you look on the ground we see a wet stain on the ground.
Petit Slayer (Chibi)
A chibi version of everyone was back at the castle. Y/N and Luke were staring at the creature as he was looking at the two boys.
Chibi King: The girls ask me if we can keep it. *looks at them* Can I? *puppy eyes* Please?
Both Luke and Y/N looked over at the girls and Hooty. The girls were shaking their heads saying no while Hooty was nodding his head. They looked at each other and then back at King.
Chibi Y/N/Luke: Yes/No.
Chibi Luke: What!?
Chibi Luz: *walks up beside Luke* I agree with Luke on this one.
Chibi Eda: Same here.
Chibi Lilith: As do I.
Chibi Y/N: Come on guys *walks beside King* Let's just take him home with us.
Chibi King/Y/N: *puppy eyes* Please?
The group looked at the two and the girls were starting to crumble while Luke just glared at them.
Chibi girls: *groans* Fine...
Chibi Luke: *groans* Of course...
Y/N/King/Hooty: Yea!
As it cuts outside the castle Luke said one more thing.
Chibi Luke:...Why?

So a lot of things happened:
First the island is where Igneel left baby dragon, he stayed there for a long time until the effects from the spell weared off. Coming back to this Island was really messing with the baby's emotions is kinda why he was whimpering a lot through this whole thing. But the question is: Why did Igneel leave Flare?
Second: Luke finds out more about the black blood demon. He finds out his dad and other black blood demons was created to kill the man that made them. He also noticed that his still not really himself. He struggling knowing who or what he is. But who is this man that made him and why did he want them to die?
Third: The emperor Ryuga is back baby! He also noticed something about our boy Y/N. Deep inside his body is a source of power that is hidden within him.
Fourth: We also get some lore about the dragons. They were originally born from dragon island but left the island and went somewhere else. As we can see the land still cares on but only from small creatures. Though baby dragon seems to have come from said Island. A clue to the baby's birth perhaps. We also learned that the dragons and witches never fully hated each other. That hatred they have only came from the witches fearing the dragons fast growth of power.
Finally: Chibi... I wanted to add this for a little fun to be honest.
I kinda had Nights be the comfort for King on this one since Flare was going through past trauma for this once. And I deadass cried writing the Flare lash out seen.
