Flashback years ago

We see a young familiar dragon slayer walking around the halls of Gladous High. From the looks of it he just finished getting out of a fight. He had cuts and bruises all over his body and blood dripping down from his mouth. As he was walking down the halls, the students started whispering to one another.

"It's him."

"Black steel Gajeel."

"What happened to him?"

"He must of got into a fight with Jacob and his crew"

Gajeel eventually turned to everyone with a hateful glare, causing the students to get scared. They all started to run away from him. The young iron dragon slayer let out a sigh as he continued to walk. He eventually made it to a nearby playground and saw someone sitting on a bench humming. It was a familiar blue-haired girl: Levy.

Levy: *notices Gajeel and smiles* Gajeel!

Levy runs up to Gajeel, but notices all the scratches and bruise marks on him.

Levy: *worried* What happened!?

Gajeel: *looks away* Nothing! Just got into a little fight. And before you ask, yes I won.

Levy: I wasn't going to ask that! Who did you get into a fight with!?

Gajeel stayed silent as he continued to look away.

Levy:... It was Jacob and his gang wasn't it?

He continues to stay silent. Jacob was known as the notorious bully that ruled over Gladus high. He could get away with anything he wanted since he was the star student in all of Gladus. Not only that but his family was one of the richest families around.

Levy: *sighs* Gajeel... You know you shouldn't pick fights with people.

Gajeel: He shouldn't have try to pick a fight with me.

Levy: What did he do to you, to make you pick a fight with him?

Gajeel just remains silent. Levy just sighed as she brought the iron dragon slayer to the benches. As the two sat down, Levy used a healing spell to try to heal Gajeel.

Gajeel: *pulls his arm* Knock it off! *crosses his arms* I don't need your weak magic!

Levy: *pulls his arm back* Well if you didn't get hurt in the first place, *starts to recast her spell* You wouldn't need my "Weak" magic.

Gajeel only grunt in response. Levy wasn't always like this. Whenever Gajeel would give her a nasty attitude she would get scared, but over course of time she got used to Gajeel's attitude. She knew how lonely Gajeel would get and wanted to be that person to be there for him. The two enjoy the quiet times. Gajeel looked at Wendy and couldn't help but admire her.

Levy: *noticed Gajeel staring* What?

Gajeel: *eyes widen as he turns his head and starts blushing lightly* N-Nothing.

Levy just giggled causing Gajeel to blush a little more. He always enjoyed these small moments with Levy. She was the only person that didn't see him as a monster. But that moment was ruined when a loud voice was heard.

?: *offscreen* HEY!

The two friends turned and saw a big 4 armed boy, with four eyes. Beside he was a younger four armed boy. The little one was Jacob and the bigger one was Jacob's older brother, Roberd.

Rober: Are you the one that beat up my brother!?

Gajeel: *raises his eyebrow* And what if I was?

Levy: *worried* Gajeel...

Jacob: *points two fingers at him* Yea bro! That's him! The freak that beat me up!

Gajeel: *stays silent for a bit*... *sighs deeply* How sad.

Jacob: What you say!?

Gajeel: *gets up* I said it's sad! You couldn't beat me on your own so you had to get your brother to come deal with your own problem. *shakes his head* That's beyond pathetic.

Jacob: *gets irritated* Why you-

Before Jacob could run at him Robert holds his back.

Robert: Stay put brother.

Jacob: But, he-

Robert: Shut it!

Jacob immediately went quiet when he heard his brother shout.

Robert: You are an embarrassment to our family. *starts walking towards Gajeel* I'll handle this.

Jacob just looked down in frustration and disappointment when his brother said that to him.

Robert: *stops a few feet away from Gajeel* I'll be dealing with you personally.

Gajeel: Ohhh. So Mr. Four arms thinks he can take me?

Robert: Hmph *cracks all four of his knuckles* Think? I know I can take you.

Gajeel: *cracks his knuckles* We'll see about that.

The two stared off for a bit as some wind started to blow around them. Soon the two dashed at each other, letting out a war cry at one another.

Timeskip

The scene shows a bloody Gajeel that was standing on top of a beaten up Robert. The four armed brother had bumps all over his face, teeth missing, arms bending in wrong areas, and white eyes, showing he was unconscious. Jacob was on the ground, with his mouth wide open, shocked by what just happened. Levy had a look of surprise on her face as well. Gajeel turned to the younger brother, making him let out a loud eep noise.

Jacob: *scared out of his mind* M-M-M-M-M-M *gets up and runs away* MONSTER!

Jacob ended up running and screaming trying to get as far away from Gajeel as possible. Gajeel and Levy watch as Jacob ran away. The young dragon slayer looked to where the bully was sitting and saw a small wet stain on the ground.

Gajeel: Heh. Damn runt pissed his pants.

He then looked down and saw the damage he did to Robert. Honestly he didn't know how to feel. He just continues to start at the 4 armed older brother.

Levy: G-Gajeel?

Gajeel let out a sigh and jumped off of him. Immediately regretting it as the pain from their battle started to take a toll on him. He held his left arm and let out a quiet grunt.

Levy: *walks up to him* A-Are you ok?

As Levy was about to try to heal him he turned his head and looked at her. As soon as they made eye contact she saw anger in his eyes. This made her let out a little gasp as she stared at him. Soon the iron dragon slayer turned his head and started to walk off.

Levy: G-Gajeel?

Gajeel: *facing away from her and continues to walk* Leave me alone.

The iron dragon continues to walk away leaving Levy alone with the unconscious bully. As she watched him walk away she started to remember his eyes. Even though they showed anger there was also a hint of sadness in them.

Levy: *holds her hands to her chest* Gajeel.

Inner Gajeel: In this world the strong are either worshiped or feared. Even though I told myself that I didn't care about being feared, it still sorta bothered me. But I had to keep pushing on and moving forward. I will obtain a power no one has seen before. So that they never have the guts to challenge me again.

Few years passed

The sky's of the Boiling Isles were gray and falling from said sky was the boiling rain, leaving ash marks and burning everything it touches to ashes. We see some townspeople walking around, protecting themselves with magic, others were inside their homes taking shelter, and some were hiding under trees. But a tiny yell was heard, as we started to get closer the yell became louder and louder. The location of the yell came from inside a cave. We see a body get thrown from the cave, the boy looked to be around his teen years. On his neck was a bite mark. He clenched onto his neck and started to scream in pain. He boldly slowly starts to get hit by the boiling rain and slowly starts to melt, leaving a blood poodle, no bones or muscles.

Inside the cave were two young teens scared out of their mind, holding each other, as they watched their comrade get melted. In front of them was a familiar green haired demon. He looked down at the blood puddle and sighs deeply.

Redtooth: *puts his hand over his face* Another failure huh?

Redtooth turns to the cowering witches. The two let out a yelp as they stared at the demon scared out of their minds.

Redtooth: *slowly starts to walk to them* Seriously, how are you witches so weak? Aren't you supposed to be skilled with magic? How come you can't handle my power?

The redtooth demon hovered over the two witches and glared at them. The two witches continue to hold each other wondering what the demon was going to do next, But just the...

?: Hehehehe.

Redtooth: *turns his head* Hm?

The two witches looked over at the entrance of the cave and saw a bigger and muscular demon: Vetto.

Redtooth: *sighs and closes his eyes* What do you want, Vetto?

Vetto: *walks up to Redtooth* I just got the with of delish despair, so I came here *looks at the trembling wishes* and found it.

The two witches continue to hold each other as Vetto gives them a deadly smirk.

Vetto: Delectable. *slowly raises his hand towards them* Fresh fruit, right for picking.

The young witches closed their eyes, and clinged to each other, as his hand slowly made its way towards them. But before it could reach them, Redtooth grabbed Vetto's arm.

Redtooth: *deadly glare* Hey, these are my prey. So back off if you know what's good for yea.

Vetto: *turn towards Redtooth with a smile* Oh come now. *frees his arm from Redtooth* You have two of them, one for each of us. The least you can do is share.

Redtooth: I said back off.

Slowly dark red energy started to appear around Redtooth. The energy started to take the form of a red demon with the intent to kill.

Vetto: *unintimidated by the form* Hehehe so you want to fight? *slowly starts to power up* Them I'm down to give you *puffs of white smoke exits his mouth* Despair.

Slowly light brown magic started to appear around Vetto. The two continue to glare at one another as their energies start to growl at one another. The two bystanders watched the whole event. In their eyes it was like two beasts ready to fight for their prey, and they were the prey.

Witch #1: *whispers* H-Hey. While they're busy we should get out of here.

Witch #2: *whispers* G-Good idea.

The two slowly started to inch away from the demons trying to find a way to escape. Since it was still raining outside, they're only other option was to run deeper into the cave, hide, and wait until the rain stopped, or hopefully the two demons will kill each other and the one that won would be too injured to fight back against them.

Redtooth: *slowly starts to grin, showing off his red teeth* I'm going to drain you dry.

Vetto: Hehehe, I'm going to give you Despair.

The two witches quickly try to get away, until something wrapped around them, making them fall on the ground. As they looked down at what caught them, it was some kind of black web. The two turned their attention to their prey and then heard a voice.

?: Honestly, do you two ever pay attention to your surroundings?

The two turned their heads towards the entrance of the cave and saw a figure. As soon as the lightning struck we got a little glimpse of who it was. It was a woman who was wearing a black body-length suit with a hood, which extends downwards to her knees. Her facial features consist of eyes containing yellow irises with black pupils, and blonde hair arranged in a spiked style, with two long strands extending downwards framing either side of her face, that entwine each other like a caduceus' snake to rest upon her chest.

Redtooth: *red energy disappeared and makes a disgusted face* Uck! The witch is here.

?: *walks up to them* Ex witch to be more processed. And you should be thanking me.

Redtooth: And for what?

?: *points her finger* For starters I made sure your so-called prey didn't escape from you.

The two turned their attention to the tied up scared witches on the ground.

Redtooth: *scoffs and looks at the woman* Oh please. Like they were going to get far.

?: You say that, but you have a tendency of letting pray get away. *slowly glares at Redtooth* Like a certain soldier boy.

This struck a core in Redtooth, as he remembers with a certain black haired soldier. The Green haired demon starts to growl and launch a claw strike at the women. But before his claw hit her a black arrow appeared blocking the strike causing a little earthquake to happen.

Redtooth: Don't test me, witch!

?: As I said, I am an ex witch.

Suddenly an arrow appeared below Redtooth. It started to glow pushing Redtooth into the direction in which it was pointing to, which was further into the cave. The demon regaining his balance and slides on the floor coming to a stop and glaring at the witch. Slowly more arrows started to form around her as she gave a menacing aura.

?: I would advise you to pick your next words out carefully.

Redtooth glared at the women and was about to speak until Vetto walked between them.

Vetto: Now now you two no need to fight. This will only attract a certain someone's attention.

For a brief moment their eyes widened but then went back to normal. The woman quickly dispelled her arrows and just sighed.

Vetto: Redtooth, me and Medusa only came here to see what was all the commotion about. It isn't like you to play with your food, so what exactly were you doing?

Redtooth: Hm. If you must know I was busy building my own ranks.

Vetto: Own ranks?

Medusa: If you recall, you always said you preferred to work alone.

Redtooth: Tch had to bring that up didn't you? Ok fine I wanted to see how little witchlings can handle my power.

The two were skeptical about Redtooth's answer but decided to indulge in it. Slowly the black arrow around one of the witches dragged him to Medusa.

Medusa: Say I wanted to believe that, you're doing it all wrong. Though you did bring some powerful witches, the problem is that the subject itself isn't strong to handle the portion of power you are giving. *slowly raises her hand* In order to test on the subject...

In a flash Medusa shoves her whole hand down the poor witches mouth, This caused the poor witch to gag as the other witches looked at the scene terrified for their life.

Medusa: You must know the limits of the subject itself.

Vetto: *crosses his arms with a smile* And this helps how?

Medusa: Simple really, by analyzing the inside of the body, the bile sac, the internal organs, bones, and tissues, I can determine the strength of the test subject.

The ex-witch removed her arm from the inside of the witch's mouth. The witch ended up coughing up a storm, with tears, saliva and snot running down from their face.

Medusa: Now that I analyze these things *lifts the witch from their hair* I can now begin experimenting.

A black needle appeared in the woman's hand. She then struck the poor witch with the needle making him choke on his own yell. Slowly black veins started to appear around the witches next, and then he started to scream loudly as black lightning started to spark around the cave. Blood started to fall around the witches face as he yelled in pain. Everyone watched as the young witch started to frail around on the ground in agonizing pain. Soon the lightning stopped and the witch fell to the ground.

Medusa: *puts her thumb under her chin* Hm. It would seem like the experiment was a success. He will be out for approximately 12 hours. *looks at Redtooth* Now you see how it's done, you should try. After all you are a scientist yourself aren't you?

Redtooth: *growls* Ex-scientist.

Redtooth walked over to the other frightened witch. He grabbed them by their hair and looked at her in the eye.

Redtooth: The methods I use aren't like yours, however, I will take that: use least power advice.

Redtooth opens his mouth and bites on the witches neck causing them to gasp out in pain. Slowly the witches' veins started to glow red around the neck as veins started to surround their eyes. The green haired demon removes his teeth from the witches neck, whips the blood off and watches the same process happen to the witch. Just like before the witch passes out on the ground.

Redtooth: *smiles* Hm. See my methods work just as much as yours.

Medusa: Hmph if you say so.

Vetto: Well anyway, what do you plan to do with these... Things.

There was a moment of silence until Redtooth started to smile,

Redtooth: To finally test the power of him... The half blood *looks at the camera and smiles sinisterly* Black blood demon.

The scene started to fade to black leaving Redtooth's red eyes and red teeth. His sinister laugh was heard.

The scene starts to open up at the abandoned house in the human world. It starts to zoom in to the portal door that leads to the Boiling Isles

OH~

It now flies over inside showing the bright sky and sunlight of the land. It then crosses over to the Isles itself showing the dead Titan. Suddenly the title screen started to show.

Dragon Slayer of the Boiling Isles

I caught a glimpse of light (when I was empty inside) and through the nothingness (I found this world)

The scene shows the three friends walking through the city of Boonsboro. They passed by many townspeople eventually making it to the owl house where Eda, King, Baby dragon, Nights, and Hooty waiting for them with smiles on their faces

I'll wander calling your name. Until the end of my days! 'Til I find the answer!

The three friends ran up to their friends. Both Luz and Y/N gave Eda a big hug with smiles on their faces. Eda had an uncomfortable look at first, but then eased into the hug. King, and Baby dragon, join the hug, while Luke looks at the scene with a small smile. Nights rubs on Luke's leg as Luke just pets the nightfurry.

Right through my fingers I'm losing the light!

The scene changes with the eye of the Portal door. The eye opens and ignites on fire. Luz jumps in front of it, with her cap on her, as she pulls out some glyphs in her pocket. She slams them together creating multiple light orbs around her.

Why can't I ever do anything right!?

Eda appears in front of her holding Owlbert in her hand. She spins her staff with a smirk on her face and was about to cast a spell but King jumps out from her hair, raising his hands up with a big smile on her face. Eda had a look of annoyance from King interrupting her.

This is the time!

Y/N jumps down in front of Eda with Zack's sword strapped on his back. He then summons fire in his right hand and lighting on his left. He smirks at the camera as his right eye glowed red and his left eye glowed a shocking blue. Baby dragon was on his head barking at the camera.

Throw it aside!

Luke appears from below in front of Y/N, with a serious expression on his face. He holds his blade in his right hand and has a demon claw in his left. His sword had black blood on it causing it to glow as he lifted it over his head.

Take all your scars and just leave them behind (Oh)

Willow appears from below Luke and in front of him. She jumps up with both her arms out. Her eyes start to glow green as she lifts her arms up in the air. Giant vines start to appear behind her growing all the way to the top.

I'm going to get there dead or alive!

Gus comes from the left scattering in front of Willow. He was holding a book under his left armpit. He pulls the book out and opens it up to a random page. He slams his left hand on the book and then lifts it up. Suddenly two clones of him appear beside him as they all smile at the camera.

But on my own I cannot survive!

Amity does a spin in front of Gus. She then stops in front of the camera as she holds her hands over her head. She then brings them down, with them being on both sides of her. Her hands start to glow as she looks at the camera with a smirk. Suddenly abomination goo starts to cover the camera.

I don't want to lie to myself!

The scene opens up with a three frame slot showing Lilith, The golden guard, and the dragon guard. Lilith had an angry expression with her left arm out about to claw the camera, the golden guard had his staff out as his cap looked like it was flowing in the wind, and the dragon guard had his weapon in front of him. The frames then flip over showing: a Depressed Lilith that had a look of regret and shame, the golden guard who was holding his mask but showing his right red eye and some of his golden hair, and the dragon guard that was holding his mask in one hand, showing of his dark red glowing eyes that had a scare coming down from it, some red hair, and he was holding his weapon in his other hand.

Keep on the fight, that's right! (I'll never lose and cry)

The scene opens with Luke staring into the darkvoid. He was holding Sally's necklace in his right hand and his sword in his left. He looked down the whole time contemplating. Suddenly Sally appeared on his left side with a sweet smile and the little demon appeared on his right with a sinister smile.

Keep running day and night! (It's time to rewrite)

Y/N was surrounded by fire as he had fire in his right hand and lighting is his left. He looked at the fire with determination on his face. Suddenly his mother and Zack appeared behind him on his left, Igneel and a fire dragon appeared behind on his right.

No matter what anyone says I'll find my way

Luz is seen practicing her glyph magic. She then looks up at the sky as she is thinking about all the events that played out. She then sees a picture of her , her friends and her mother. They were all smiling and hugging each other close. She holds the picture in her hand and smiles brightly at the picture, and goes back to looking at the sky.

Yea~ never go away~ (Never go away now!)

A hand suddenly comes and smashes the screen to bits. Belos squeezes his hand as the camera shows his bright blue eyes behind his mask. The camera then distances itself from the Emperor and shows him on top of his castle as he orders his supportents. Below him were coven scouts and the 4 shadow figures. They all looked like they were ready to battle. The camera then shows The owl house crew looking at the army as they were ready for a fight.

Nobody can stop me no way!

The scene shows Gajeel blitzing through multiple coven guards and charges an iron roar at them. Levy was at his side creating multiple script magic blasting through the guards. Lily was in his buff form using his red blade striking through all the guards. Suddenly a figure rushed at Gajeel cliding his fist with his. Gajeel smirked at the figure as he saw the figure smirking back at him.

That promise is engraved in my memory!

Luke, Willow, Gus, Amity, and Nights were all battling covent scouts. Luke using his blade and shadows, Willow tangled them up in plants, Gus using his clones to prank or knock them out, Amity summoning giant Abominations slamming them away, and Nights blasting them away with a blast from his mouth. A cloaked figure summoning a dark magic spell in his fingertips headed straight for Luke. Luke's eyes widen as he quickly counters with his sword. He was glaring at the figure as the left side of his face started to turn demonic, while the figure looked at him with a smirk of interest.

We'll take it back, you just watch!

Eda, Lilith, Wendy, Carla, and baby dragon were all battling more scouts. Eda and Lilith would use combination glyph magic, Carla would power glyph magic, baby dragon would blow fire at them burning the scouts, Wendy would blast a dragon roar from her mouth blasting them all away. The dust would settle and a figure ran at Wendy. Wendy quickly grabs the figures hands as they both start to squeeze as they look at each other. The figure would smile at Wendy mocking her and Wendy would struggle at first but slowly her eyes would start to glow a bright blue

Everything that we lost, raise up in this world~

Luz was running at the guards striking them with multiple glyphs. She then runs at the castle and throws multiple ice glyphs on the ground. Ice pillars started to appear as Luz ran and jumped on each one of them. Once she reaches the top she jumps in the air above Belos. Belos looks up in the air and sees the human girl with a fire glyph in her right hand. She brings her right arm back and quickly brings it back forward trying to strike the emperor. Belos summons his staff and counters with his own magic. The two clash in the middle resulting in a bright explosion.

The end of our journey is on repeat

Y/N and the dragon guard were battling at an abandoned lake. The two would clash their weapons over and over again, dodging and countering each other. They would clash in the middle and glare at one another.

But I won't let it stand between you and me

Y/N was down on his knees panting heavily. He held his left shoulder with his right arm as he looked up at his opponent. He couldn't see their face since the shadows were blocking it but he could tell they were smiling sinisterly at him. He then looks down at Slayer in front of him and saw the demon smiling sinisterly at him

What are you fighting for!?

The scene shows Y/N's mother in a white void staring at a hooded figure. The figure had their back to her as he looked down. Y/N's mother had a look of sadness as she had her arms close to her chest as tears fell from her eyes. She yells the same words as the lyrics at the figure, causing the figure to flinch as a tear falls from his eye. For a split second it showed a teenage boy with red hair beside an orange hair girl and a black hair boy as they all smiled brightly.

Cause it's not over!

Y/N gets up from his knees and glares at the camera. Suddenly his right eye starts to go full red and the right side of his body slowly starts to change.

Rise up in this world!

Y/N picks up his blade and dashes at the camera. He lets out a battle roar and slash's the camera making everything go white

OH~

The scene opens up with Y/N looking at the sunset with a sad look on his face. Suddenly Luz came beside him and intertwin her hand with his. This caught his attention as he turned to the smiling human girl. He then felt someone rest on his shoulder. He turns and sees Luke just smirking at him. This made him start to smile. Just then all of his friends walked up and looked at the young dragon slayer with smiles on their faces. Y/N smiled at them then turned his face back at the camera and gave a smirk as his eyes started to glow red.

Back to the present time, we opened up to Hexside academy. We cut inside one of the classrooms, Beast keeping track. The teacher was busy teaching his class about different types of beast that exist in the Isles. Now some of the students were paying attention, others were either sleeping or goofing off.

"In conclusion the beast way to tame a beast is to not appear threatening"

Gajeel: *cough* Bullsh*t *cough cough*

And then there was Gajeel.

unamused* "Something troubling you, Mr. Redfox?

Gajeel: Hm oh no, just I was allergic to your crap.

This caused a few students to snicker from Gajeel's joke.

sighs* Mr Redfox, this knowledge is important.

Gajeel: I don't see what's so important about it?

"Oh, do you know how to tame a wild beast?"

Gajeel: Of course *slams his knuckles together* By beating the crap out of it!

All the Beast keeper teacher did was roll his eyes, expecting that kind of answer from Gajeel.

"Well if that's true care to put it to the test."

Gajeel: *smirks* Hell yea!

"Very well"

The beast keeping teacher drew a spell circle and slowly a creature started to appear. It looked like the combination of a dog and a tiger.

"Meet Mark, he's here to put your theory to the test."

Gajeel: Fine by me. Just don't get mad when I put this little puppy down.

Gajeel gets up from his seat and walks to the front of the classroom. Both him and Mark stood a few feet, stared at each other. Soon Mark got on all fours and started growling at Gajeel, while the iron dragon slayer got into a stance. Soon the two rushed at each other.

Gajeel: *battle cry* Bring it on!

Timeskip

The scene cuts to Boonsboro. We cut to two people walking around, Levy and Gajeel. The former had cuts and bruises on his face.

Levy: *sighs* You know if you listen to the teacher, that wouldn't have happened.

Gajeel: It was that beast that started it first! He was the one growling at me!

Levy: Mike is, what Luz would say, a dog. They are known to be peaceful creatures. They only attack if they feel they are being threatened.

Gajeel: *crosses his arms* Yea yea.

Levy lets out a little giggle. She's used to Gajeels behavior and she can't help but to find it cute at times.

Levy: Soooo, how's Hexside treating you?

Gajeel: Besides the boring lectures and school work about the same at Gladious.

Levy: *curious* By that you mean...

Gajeel: *sighs* If you're asking if people like me then the answer is no. People still hate my guts.

Levy: Oh come on! Just this week you only got challenged to 3 witches duels instead of 5.

Gajeel: *sweat drops* And that makes it better how?

Levy: It means people are warming up to you. And besides you got friends: Me, Luz, Y/N-

Gajeel: *glares at her* Salamander is not my friend.

Levy: Epp! O-Ok maybe acquaintance then. But hey its progress if you ask me.

Gajeel: *sighs* Yea whatever.

Levy gave Gajeel a sad look. She could tell the looks people gave him and the comments they made to him, affected the young dragon slayer badly, even if he didn't show it. As the two continue walking they see two familiar people.

Levy: Hey look.

Gajeel: Hm? Is that Martins and the owl lady's sister?

What they said was true, both Luke and Lilith were looking at the job board.

Levy: *offscreen* Hey!

Both Lilith and Luke saw both Levy and Gajeel.

Luke: Black steel, Levy.

Levy: Hey Luke *looks at Lilith* And Ms. Lilith.

Lilith: *bows her head respectfully* It's a pleasure to see you again Levy.

Gajeel: So what are you two doing?

Luke: Looking in for another job request.

Levy: W-Well where is Luz and Y/N?

Luke: Luz is out with Eda and King on another job and for Y/N he had to stay behind at school.

Gajeel: *confused* What for- *realizes* Ohhhh that.

Back at Hexside

We cut to the abomination classroom, or what was supposed to be the abomination classroom. Inside was abomination goo leaking all over the floor, walls, ceiling and any other place you can think of in the boiling isles

Abomination teacher: Unbelievable!

The teacher was busy yelling at the culprit that caused this mess, Y/N Dragneel. Y/N thought he had the spells right, keyword thought. True he was able to summon it, however when he tried to give it a command it ended up... Well exploding. So right now, he is getting chewed out by the abomination teacher.

Abomination teacher: You are going to spend the rest of the day cleaning this mess from top to bottom!

The teacher hands Y/N a bucket and mop. Y/N takes it and sighs sadly.

Abomination teacher: And to make sure you don't try to sneak away, I have my best student keep an eye on you!

Y/N: *starts to panic* (Please don't be who I think it is!)

As soon as he thought that, A familiar green haired girl walked inside the classroom, Amity Blight.

Teacher: *walks up to Amity* Amity, make sure Mr. Dragneel doesn't go anywhere until this place is spotless!

Amity: *nods her head* Yes sir.

The teacher leaves the two lovebirds, I mean students, alone by themselves. As the two continued to look at the door, Y/N had a look of pure fear.

Y/N: (CRAP CRAP CRAP! Just my luck! It had to be Amity! She is going to murrder me!)

Zack: Orrrrr, This is a good moment for you two to kiss. Though the setting is a little off.

Y/N: (NOT HELPING!) *shakes his head and speaks very frighten* W-W-W-Well this abomination goo isn't going to clean itself! Hehehe! Better get started!

Amity: Y-Yea.

Y/N immediately rushed to go start cleaning, but while he was busy doing that, our young Blight girl had another thought.

Amity: *blushes brightly while turned around* (I-I-I'm alone with Y/N!) *shakes her head* (No! Don't think like that! You should be mad at him for messing up!) *fiddles with her fingers* (B-But then again, if not for that I wouldn't be alone with him right now.) *shakes her head* (W-What the hell am I saying!?)

While Amity was busy having an inner battle with herself, Y/N was busy trying to clean some abomination goo.

Y/N: (She's going to kill me! She is plotting my death as we speak!)

Back with Luke and the others

Gajeel: Ha! Sucks to be Salamander!

Levy: So did you guys decide on a job?

Luke: We've been looking, but lots of them are finding missing animales or taking care of kids, which I'm not doing again.

Lilith: Aww but Lucas, you're good at taking care of infants.

Luke: *grumbles* That was because a certain latino girl made me.

Both Levy and Lilith giggled, making Luke groan even more. Gajeel decided to walk up to the wall and looked at the board.

Gajeel: What about this job?

The three looked over and walked up to where Gajeel was pointing at.

Levy: *reads* " There have been multiple reports of citizens and villages being attacked, located on the long right toe of the Titan. The attackers powers are unknown, however a handsome reward will be offered to the person who brings them in."... Wow, that is a lot of zeros.

Luke: Oh yea this one. I want to take this job, Buuuut-

Lilith: Absolutely not!

Luke: *points his thumb* This one won't let me.

Lilith: Lucas, The Titan's right long toe has been banned for citizens for a reason.

Luke: A reason you won't tell me. *sigh* Look, I usually don't want to volunteer for this kind of stuff, but we are running low on cash, and also food because someone keeps eating so much of it.

Lilith: Hootsifer is an angel and must be fed.

Luke: Now you are just spoiling him.

Levy: Well, why don't you get some people to go with you?

Luke: You mean the same people who want us locked up from a certain incident?

Levy: *sweat drops* O-Oh right.

Luke: It's a miracle we can still walk around town... Well most of us.

Y/N was seen running for his life. Why you ask? Well you see he was out trying to do some shopping until some guards caught him.

Luke just lets out a sigh.

Levy: Well, why don't me and Gajeel join you guys?

Gajeel: Wait what?

Lilith: Absolutely out of the question! If you think I wouldn't let Lucas go, what makes you think I'll let you two go!

Gajeel: I didn't want to you-

Before he could finish that sentence, Levy elbowed Gajeel in the gut causing him to hold his sides. The two saw that and sweat dropped.

Levy: Please Miss Lilith, if things go wrong, we could provide back up if need be.

Lilith: Young lady, do you not understand the danger that exists there?

Levy: As a matter of fact I do, The Titans toes are said to have poisonous plants, dangerous animals, and man eating bugs.

Lilith: If you know all that then why persist?

Levy: Because, *stares in her eyes* It also holds some historical carvings that I have been so interested to see!

Luke/Gajeel:... What?

Lilith: *gasp and walks up the Levy* You also have an interest in historical carvings!?

Levy: *nods her head* Yes! It is one of my favorite hobbies!

As the two were busy fangirling out about history, Luke and Gajeel, were standing side by side, staring at the whole scene.

Luke: Is she always like this?

Gajeel: *crosses his arms* You learn to get used to it.

Lilith: *clears her throat* In light of this new discovery, we would gladly accept you and Gajeel's proposal to join us.

Luke: *throws her hands in the air excited* Yay!

Luke: (So much for being responsible.)

Levy: *walks up to Gajeel* And we have an adventure.

Gajeel: *raises his eyebrow* And why should I come along?

Levy:... To help out a friend?

Gajeel just raised his eyebrow even more.

Levy:... Money?

Gajeel continues to stare at Levy.

Levy: *sigh* Might find a dangerous enemy to fight.

Gajeel: *slams his fist in his hand* You had me at danger.

Levy facepalms from Gajeel attics. She already knew that was what he would agree with, but she just had to see if he would agree to something else.

Luke: Well now that we got our team then-

Luke: *sighs* Let me guess: A couple of annoying twins?

Edric: Ehhh, we would go with creative individuals.

Both Edric and Emira where behind Luke

Emira: *quickly takes her hands off his eyes* Alright geez! *pouts* Meany,

Luke just smirks while Edric chuckles.

Edric: Soo, what are you guys up to?

Levy: Oh we are about to take on a quest.

Edric: *notices Levy* Oh hey Levy.

Emira: How u been girl?

Levy: *chuckles and rubs her head* Oh nothing much just been doing a lot of studying.

Edric: *does a thumbs down motion* Boo. Studying stinks.

Emira: You should learn to take it easy like us.

Levy: *sweat drops* I wish I could but my mother would kill me if she found out about that,

Gajeel: She sure is strict on you.

Levy: *anime tears* You have no idea.

As the twins heard Gajeel's voice, they turned and looked at him with a hateful glare.

Twins: Black steel.

Gajeel: Blight siblings

Everyone could see a clash of lighting hitting their eyes, as the three glared at each other.

Luke: *groans* (Oh great.)

Levy: *tries to calm down the situation* A-Anyway we are about to help out Luke and Ms. Lilith with their mission.

Edric: *surprised* You're going on a mission!?

Luke: *facepalms* God damn it!

Edric: Can we come along!?

Lilith: Absolutely-

Before Lilith could finish Luke grabbed her and walked a few feet away from the others.

Luke: Look I know it's probably not a good idea to let them tag along, but I know trying to turn them down could spare both of us a headache.

Lilith: But-

Luke: I know I know, but think about it like this: The twins are good with illusion magic, so if things do go south we could let them use their magic as a distraction, so we all can get away alive.

Lilith: *thinks for a second* That does sound like the best possibility. *sighs* Very well, But I will be overseeing this journey.

Luke: Fine by me.

The two turned around and just like before, Gajeel and the twins were having a glaring section while Levy was trying to calm them all down.

Lilith: *sweat drops* What about their current situation?

Luke: I'm sure it will work out in the end.

With Luz and Eda

We cut over to the Titans right arm, It was a mountain area with fog covering the bottom of it. The only sound that was heard was the sound of the winds blowing in the air, until

ROOOOOOOOARRRRRRRR!

A giant roar echoed around the area. A figure was seen flying around the rocky road, Eda Clawthorn. The young Clawthorn was flying on her staff with a tiny demon on her shoulder, King, behind her staff was a familiar latino girl, Luz Noceda.

Luz: *yells* I didn't think that thing would be this scary!

A figure jumped in the air on top of one of the mountains screaming in the air and banging its chest. It looked like a combination of a spider and a monkey. It had the 4 legs of a spider, and 4 extra eyes. 3 on its right and 3 on its left. It had giant gorilla arms and legs, and the body as one as well.

Eda: It's called the spider monkey! What did you expect!?

Luz: Well since it had, spider, I thought it would be an adorable little creature!

King: Where on the isles is anything adorable!?

Luz: *pokes King's nose* You are!

King: *giggles* Oh you.

Eda: Now is not the time!

The spider monkey let out another roar that shakes the air and ground around them. This knocked Eda and the others off course but was able to regain their balance. Eda quickly rushes at the best pulling put two fire glyphs.

Eda: *slams them together* Spicy toss!

She then throws the fire glyphs, making a flame X, at the spider monkey. It hits the creature causing the flames to surround it.

Luz: Did you get it?

It was quiet for a second, until the best let out a roar blowing the flames off it.

King: Doesn't look like it!

The spider monkey starts shooting out webs from its mouth.

Eda: Incoming!

Eda quickly dodges the attack, as the others let out a yelp holding on for dear life. The spider monkey roars and starts, chasing after them, shooting more webs at the group. The group continues to dodge the attacks until one of them hits the back of the staff. They turned and looked and saw the spider monkey slowly bringing them down.

King: It's pulling us!

Eda: Luz! Cut the rope!

Luz: On it!

Luz pulls out an ice glyph and taps it. The glyph turns into a ice sword. She quickly tries to snap the rope, but the spider monkey sees what the girl tries to do and quickly pulls on the web. Lucky Luz was able to cut the web, however, the force of the pull caused the whole group to fall off on the staff and started falling down towards the spiking ground.

King: WE'RE GOING TO DIE!

Eda quickly looks over and sees her staff; she quickly grabs it and KIng, but fails to grab Luz.

Eda: Luz!

Luz: *yelling and quickly reaches into her pocket* Come on! Come on! Come on! Come on! Come on! Come on! Come on! *finds the glyph* YES!

Luz pulls out a plant glyph and activates it. Vines shootout and wrap around on top of one of the mountains. This swings her across as she glides through the sky like spider-man.

Luz: YAHOO! I'm like spider-man *grins* Or spider-girl in this- OH CRAP!

She noticed she was heading for one of the mountains. Quickly, letting go of the vines, she lands on the mountain on her feet and jumps down, but the height she was falling from could kill her. Quickly she pulls out a glyph combination, snow glyph trade mark by Lilith, and activates it. Snow appears below her and she lands near a cave.

Luz: *sighs in relief* Oh thank you Lilith. *looks around* Looks like I lost the spider monkey

Suddenly the spider monkey landed behind Luz growling at the girl.

Luz: *skulds herself* Luz, you fool.

The spider monkey roars, scaring Luz. It lifts up its arms about to be slammed down at Luz.

Eda: LUZ!

Eda is seen flying in the air, diving down, trying to stop the spider monkey from splashing Luz into a bloody past. But before she could make it the spider monkey turns around and shoots a spider web at Eda. Eda ends up getting hit and getting sent flying across the mountains.

Luz: EDA!

Now that the owl lady was out of the way the spider monkey turned its attention towards the little human. Luz slowly starts to back up but ends up stopping when she realizes she is at the edge of the clift. She turns back and notices she can't see the bottom, since it's covered in mist. She turns back around and sees the spider monkey with its arms in the air again, letting out a roar, and slams them down on the ground. This creates a giant dust cloud spreading dirt and derby all over the place. Soon as the dust started to settle, the spider monkey looked down and noticed that the human was gone. The creature looked around trying to find the human, but was having no luck. Unknown to him, Luz was using an invisibility glyph and was behind the creature. She pulled out an ice glyph and slammed it on the ground.

Luz: *breaths out* See ya!

Suddenly the ground in front of Luz becomes ice, and the spider monkey's legs end up slipping on the ice, causing it to fall down to the bottom.

Luz: *walks up and looks down with a smug face* Oh yea! Don't mess with the human Lu- *dodges a web* AHHH!

Luz looks down and sees the creature climbing back up with both its arms and legs and with an angry expression.

Luz: *starts to panic* Oh crap!

Luz looks around and sees a cave entrance and starts heading for it. The spider monkey makes it on top of the clift and starts charging at Luz. Luz quickly ran but the monkey was faster. It lifts one of its arms and throws a punch at Luz, lucky the latino girl was able to roll out of the way before it hit her. This caused the monkey to hit one of the rocks that was supporting the entrance, getting its hand stuck in the process. Seeing her chance, Luz hurries and runs towards the entrance of the cave. Getting angry that its prey was escaping, dark energy started to surround the monkey as it forced its hand out of the rock's. However, this caused the cave's entrance to crack and the crack started to spread all around the entrance. Rocks slowly started to fall down as Luz quickly tried to make it inside.

Luz: *running as fast as she cans* Come on! All! Most! There!

Before any of the rocks could hit her Luz rolls inside the cave and lands face first on the ground.

Luz: *in pain groaning* Ughhhhh. Safe.

Luz slowly gets up holding her left side and looks at the entrance of the cave. She sees rocks had trapped her inside. She hears the creature on the other side, but slowly its roars start to fade away as it disappears. She let out a sigh of relief as she looked at the cave entrance.

Luz: Trapping myself was not the idea here. *thinks for a second* How am I supposed to get out? *continues to think until an idea pops into her mind* Idea. *pulls out a fire glyph and activates it* Like Y/N says: Fire dragon-

Before she could finish, footsteps were echoing inside of the cave. This puts Luz on guard as she turns around holding the fire glyph.

Luz: Who's there!?

The footsteps become louder and louder as Luz continues to near her eyes with her guard up. Soon a figure started to appear and stopped a few feet away from her. Luz lifted up her fire and got a good look on the figure's face.

Luz: W-Who are you?

?: A bit rude to ask for a person's name, before introducing oneself, human.

Luz: Y-You know I'm human?

This made the mysterious man raise his eyebrow. He then points to his ears and then towards Luz.

Luz: *feeling embarrassed* O-Oh right. Duh.

?: I also heard about you from the petrification ceremony.

Luz: *chuckles nervously* R-Right.

?: Anyway, what are you doing here?

Luz: Weeellll, we ended up getting attacked by the spider monkey.

?: Aah yes, the spider monkey. It used to be a peaceful creature, it only ever attacked if something was threatening its home. And no offense but you don't look very threatening.

Luz: *offended* Hey! I might look sweet and innocent, but I'm a bad girl underneath. *proudly* I stay up past my bedtime.

?: *sweat drops* Uh-huh.

Luz: Well anyway *holds up the fire ball* Ever seen an innocent human hold up a magic fireball.

?: Can't say I have or haven't.

Luz smiles proudly causing the man to sigh.

?: *looks up at the blocked entrance* Seems like the entrance is blocked.

Luz: *smirks* Don't worry *reels the fireball back* I'll have us out in just a second.

?: I don't think that is a good idea.

Luz: Huh? *looks at the mysterious man* Why not?

?: *points to the block entrance* You see, if you break down those rocks more rocks will fall down making it harder for us to get out. I think the spider monkey knew that and decided to find another way in.

Luz: O-Oh.

?: Do you ever think things through?

Luz stayed quiet as she blushed from embarrassment. The figure sighed and started walking away.

Luz: *noticed him walking away* H-Hey! Where are you going?

?: There are more than one way to enter these caves, so I'm going to go find another exit. You are free to come if you wish.

Luz looks back at the blocked entrance and remembers what the man said of the spider monkey trying to find another entrance. Not wanting to be around when it showed up she quickly caught up with the man.

Luz: Wait up!

?: *looks at the human* Bad girl huh?

Luz just pouts from the man's comment and sighs.

Luz: *remembers* Oh right! I never told you my name. My name is Luz, Luz Noceda. And you are?

?:... You can call me a Black wizard.

Luz: Uhhhh ok then?

The two start their journey inside the cave.

Back with Luke and the others

Currently the group was near a carriage place in Boonsboro trying to find a ride to get to the second right toe of the Titan. Lilith explained getting there on foot would take days to get there so they decided to travel by carriage, the only problem was nobody wanted to take them there. Most excuses were "I'm not trying to die" "Beat it and take a hick" and a very creepy one that said "If the pretty ladies give me a nic-" and lets just say for that person... Well he is somewhere.

Luke: *sighs* Well this sucks.

Gajeel: Still don't see why we can't just walk there?

Lilith: As I already informed you, walking there will take us days to get there.

Gajeel: Sounds like an excuse to me.

Edric: *mutters* Maybe if you weren't such an iron bonehead.

Gajeel: What was that?

Edric: *panics* Nothing!

Levy: *sighs* Maybe someone can take us to the knee.

?: *offscreen* So you people are trying to go to the Titans knee?

The group turns and sees a person wearing a blue cap adorned with skulls, a light green cape, which is wrapped around his chin, and a white T-shirt. He also wears dark pants, which are held up by a pink rope tied around his stomach, functioning as a belt, and dark boots.

Gajeel: Who's asking bub?

?: I can take you there if you want me to.

The group looked at one another and then back at the man.

Lilith: Excuses us for one moment sir.

The figure nodded his head as the group walked a few feet away.

Emira: So we can all agree that guy is shady, right?

Everyone nodded his head.

Lilith: Agreed. All votes on not going.

Lilith, Edric, and Emira all raised their hands, but Levy, Gajeel, and Luke kept their hands down.

Edric: Uhh guys?

Lilith: What the!? What is wrong with you three!?

Luke: *sighs* Look, the guy is shady, however we need a way to get to the knee.

Levy: *nods her head* I agree with Luke *looks around* Nobody here is going to take us, this seems like our only chance to get there.

Emira: But what if that guy tries something?

Gajeel: We can just beat the hell out of him.

The group just stared at Gajeel.

Gajeel:... What?

Luke: Anyway, unless any of you have any ideas, we are going.

The group remained silent trying to come up with something, but nothing came out. So they all sighed in defeat.

Lilith: Fine, but if that man tries one thing, I will knock him into next week.

Luke: (Sounds just like teach.)

As the group started to walk towards the man, and accept his offer, the twins stayed behind to talk with Luke.

Edric: You alright Luke?

Luke: *raises his eyebrow* Why wouldn't I be?

Emira: It's just, usually you would be against this kind of stuff.

Luke: *sighs* I get you guys are worried, but this is our best way to get there faster. I just want to get this over with.

Edric: *hesitant but compiles* Alright then. Just *puts his hand on his shoulder* know that we're here for ya.

Luke: *looks at him for a second and smirks* Thanks.

This causes Edric to blush a bit as he quickly pulls his hand away and catches up to the group. Emira hugs Luke from behind.

Luke: uhhh...

Emira: Just promise me if something happens you'll be ok?

Luke:... I promise.

Emira smiled and kissed Luke on the cheek causing the half demon to blush a bit. She giggles and catches up to the group.

Demon: Isn't that heartwarming?

Luke: *groans* Oh Titan damn it.

Luke turned his head and saw his demon standing beside him.

Demon: The Blight boy blushed and the girl made you blush.

Luke: Uh-huh.

Demon: But they do have a point, what has gotten into you?

Luke:...

Demon: Usually you would go against going on a dangerous quest, and you would never trust a shady man, and finally you usually would argue with people you don't want to come along with you, of course you usually agree to bring them along, but still though you fight against it none the least.

Luke: I'd rather get this over with as soon as possible.

Demon: Orrrrrr... *gasp* Could it be your finally opening up to people?

Luke: *grunts*...

Demon: *wipes away a fake tear* Our little Luke is finally becoming a man. *clears his throat* Or should I say Maniler since *chick chick*

Luke: *facepalms* Why?

Demon: Anyway, let's get the usual conversation out of the way, Only this time I'll do your part. *clears his throat and holds up one finger* You shouldn' go there *holds up two fingers* You are going to get yourself killed *holds up three fingers* stay home. Now you *holds up one finger* I do what I want *holds up two fingers* You're not my dad *holds up three fingers* And finally I do what I want, again. Did I miss anything?

Luke: *walks away* You forgot the part where I tell you to shut up.

Demon: Right. How can I forget? The most edgelord thing to say. This is why people call you moody.

Chibi Timeskip: Everyone was riding in the back of the carriage with Gajeel and the twins glaring at each other.

A yellow-orange bird with three-toed feet, large wings and long necks, was pulling a horse sized carriage. It was walking along the road with the mysterious man as its driver. Inside the carriage the group was all sitting down trying to relax, well most were sitting down. Lilith was still looking back at the guy, expecting him to try something. Luke had his eyes closed, Gajeel and the twins were giving each other death glares, while Levy was chuckling nervously watching the scene.

Edric: Aren't these rides kinda not your thing?

Gajeel: I learned to adapt to these things, Blight.

He was lying, on the outside he looked ok, but on the inside his stomach was in knots.

Emira: Well at least your stomach adapts unlike your brain.

Gajeel *tick mark* You trying to pick a fight?

Levy: A-Alright let's just calm down here. (Seriously, we did a dungeon adventure awhile back. How are these guys still not getting along?)

Luke opens his eyes to see the three continue glaring and insulting each other. He lets out a sigh, turns and looks at Lilith, and notices her still staring at the mystery man. Not wanting to deal with the twins and black steels argument, he decided to ease Lilith's mind.

Luke: If you want, I can sit in the front with him to make sure he doesn't try anything.

Lilith: *looks at Luke*... Fine. But if he try something *slowly pulls out a glyph* make sure to inform me.

Luke: *nods his head* Right, while I'm gone *points to the three* try to do something about them.

Lilith: Huh? *looks over and notice the glaring trio* Wow, I can't believe I didn't notice that.

Luke just sighed as he opened the curtain and sat in the front.

?: *notices Luke* Need some fresh air?

Luke: Something like that.

The man just chuckled as the two continued to ride in silence.

Luke: So...

?: Hm?

Luke: What's your reason for taking us?

?:... Don't trust me huh?

Luke: Kinda of hard to. I mean a guy offers to take us to a restricted place while others don't, seems kinda sketchy.

?: *chuckles a bit* Guess you have a point... Let me start with my name first: People call me Bobo.

Luke:... Luke.

Bobo: Nice to meet ya Luke... Tell me, do you know anything about the toes?

Luke: Not really. But my friends in the back could tell ya.

Bobo: hehe, Well the toes weren't always a dangerous place. It was a beautiful place, I was raised there, in a village called Galuna. It was where demons of different shapes and sizes lived, we spent our times framing craps there too.

Luke: Sounds like a great place.

Bobo: *looks down sadly* It was... Until 7 years ago. 3 demons or whatever those things were, came and attacked our village... They took everything and everyone away from me... My home... My village... And...

As Bobo stopped talking he pulled out a little heart locket. As he opened it it was a picture of an old short demon bald Demon with long silver sideburns running from the length of his face down to his hips. He has purple skin, and has dark violet spots all over his body. He has blue claws for feet and hands. He wears a necklace made of what appear to be large animal teeth centered by a skull and a dark blue cape that drapes down from his shoulders to the back of his knees and features a crescent moon symbol.

Bobo: *broken voice* My grandpa.

Luke:... I'm sorry.

Bobo: *puts the heart locket away* It's fine really. Luckily I was able to escape and found my way to Boonsboro. I thought the emperor's coven would be able to handle them, but whenever they went down to the toes they would never come back. Eventually the toes became restricted from people entering, but I know those bastards are still there.

Luke: So you put up a job for someone to accept?

Bobo: Pathetic I know. But I'm not strong enough to beat them.

Luke: And you thought a few kids and Lulu could handle them.

Bobo: *smirks* I've been surprised before... But even so those who take up the job never come back either... I know I'm sending people to their deaths *squeezes the robe* B-But...

Bobo let out a sadden sigh as Luke looked at him.

Demon: Eh, not his fault. The people knew the risk and still decided to accept the job. That's on them.

Luke: The people knew what they signed up for, so don't blame yourself.

Demon: Hey! Don't steal my lines!

Bobo: I guess... Still be careful kid or

Bobo took off his hood to show his face, he was a purple Demon of average height with dark purple spots all over his body. He has two horns on his head and a large, well one now since the other one was cut off. He had a black mustache, which goes from his nose, around his mouth to his chin. Finally his right arm was smaller than the other, the left looked more like an adult muscle arm while the right looked like a kids arm.

Bobo: *menacing*Or you'll end up like this.

Luke stared at Bobo in shock.

Bobo: *points to his horn* You'll probably end up losing your head like I lost my horn.

Luke: *blinks a few times* Wait, what about your arm?

Bobo: *looks at his right arm* Oh this, *chuckles* I got this when I was hunting some crops. Accidentally chopped off my right arm, *rubs his head* I had slow regeneration when I was young.

Luke: *sweat drops* O-Ok then.

Bobo let out a laugh as he turned his attention back to the road.

Bobo: Thanks kid.

Luke: Thank me when the job is complete.

Bobo: *chuckles* I will... But if you don't come back... I'm sorry.

Demon: Apologies are worthless to a dead man.

The two continue the carriage ride to the village.

Back with Eda

Currently Eda was tied up to the edge of the clift, trying to get out of the spider web the spider monkey put her in.

Eda: *struggles* Come! One!

King: *struggles* Can't you just! Ugh! Use one of your glyphs!

Eda: *struggles* Trying to! *thinks for a second* Wait! King!

King: Weh?

Eda: Use your horns to cut us loose!

King: Are you crazy!? That can ruin my new horn!

Eda: JUST DO IT!

King jolted from Eda's outburst and complied. Getting down he used his horns to cut the threads off and free Eda. Quickly getting on her staff she levitates in the air pulling some webs out of her hair.

Eda: *disgusted* Ugh. I'm going to pick out webs for a week.

King: You! What about me!? *tries to get the webs out of his horns* I just got this horn back!

Eda: You can complain later! Right now we have to get back to Luz!

Quickly, Eda speeded up on her staff to Luz's location. As she made it she looked around and saw Luz and the spider monkey was gone.

King: Luz! Luz! *looks at Eda worried* Is she-

Eda: No she's not. Luz is a tough girl, I know she's alright.

Eda looked around and saw one of the cliffs caves had been shut in.

Eda: There!

King: Luz!

Eda: No. That cave is closed.

King: Sooo?

Eda: So, Luz must have found a way, or accidentally sealed herself in there.

King: So she's alive!?

Eda: Yep. If so, that means there must be another entrance. Hang on!

Eda used her staff to fly around trying to find the entrance into the mountain's cave.

Back with Luz and the black wizard

Luz and the black wizard were walking around the cave, trying to find the exit. As they were walking Luz noticed it was a quiet walk so she tried to make some conversation.

Luz: Soooooo BW.

Black wizard: BW?

Luz: Yea, short for Black wizard. Pretty cool right.

Black wizard: I guess so.

Luz: Anyway, what are you doing in the mountain cave?

Black wizard: I come to these caves to be alone.

Luz: Alone? How come? Don't you have friends?

Black wizard: I'm... Not much of a social person. As you can see.

Luz: Ohh right. You know you remind me of one of my friends.

Black wizard: *raises his eyebrow* Really?

Luz: Yep, he doesn't talk much, he keeps to himself a lot, and he's very moody. But he's very caring.

Black wizard: I see. You must have a lot of friends

Luz: Yep there's a boy named Gus, who is really good at illusion magic. Willow who's the best at plant magic. Amity, who might be my love rival, but I still consider her someone close none the least.

Black wizard: (Love rival?)

Luz: Oh! And then there's... Y/N.

The black wizard noticed Luz's voice and body movement change when she mentioned Y/N. This peeked the Black wizards interested.

Black wizard: Oh is he also a friend of yours?

Luz: *blushes a bit* W-Well kinda.

Black wizard:... Best friend?

Luz: *blushes more* U-Umm..

Black wizard: *thinks for a second*... Do you like him?

Luz: *goes full red* W-W-W-W-WHAT!? I-I DON'T- I MEAN I-

Luz stayed quiet until she looked down and nodded her head.

Black wizard: I see. But why don't you tell him then?

Luz: W-Well I um- Heh. I don't know if it's a good idea to tell a complete stranger this.

Black wizard: Outside help is usually the best type of help.

Luz: Really? How?

Black wizard: Normally, a friend will tell you what you want to hear, while a stranger will tell you what you need to hear.

Luz: *thinks for a second but companies* O-Ok. I-I do like Y/N.

Black wizard: I see. So why not tell him that?

Luz: I-It's just that *sighs* What if he doesn't feel the same way? Or if we do become a couple, what if things don't work out?

The black wizard stared at the girl for a second before giving his answer.

Black wizard: Instead of asking those questions you should ask yourself this, What hurts more: Gaining a love that falls apart or wishing for a love you could have obtained but choose not to?

Luz: *surprised* B-Both those options kinda suck.

Black wizard: That is what love is. It's unpredictable, it's, in your words, suck, and it's painful. When one knows to feel love they must also bear the risk of feeling pain.

A moment of silence echoed in the cave. Luz was trying to process the Black wizard's words. However a word he kept repeating caught her attention.

Luz: *goes full red* W-W-W-W-W-W-WHAT!? I NEVER SAID I LOVED Y/N! I MEANT I LIKED HIM MORE AS A FRIEND! W-w-wait d-does that count as love!?

As Luz was busy having a panic attack, The black wizard just stared at the stuttering girl.

Black wizard: (Funny how we go from a serious talk to this) *sigh* (She is a strange human.)

As the wizard continued to stare at the stuttering girl, he got a certain sense of nostalgia. A familiar girl took Luz's place which made his eyes widen.

Black wizard: (What was-)

Suddenly a sound caught the black wizard's attention.

Black wizard: Luz!

Luz: *stands in full attention with a blushing face* Yea!

The black wizard made a shush motion with his fingers confusing Luz.

Luz: W-What's wrong?

The black wizard looked over to the left of the cave. Luz followed his gaze but saw nothing. She was going to ask him again what's going on, until...

BOOM! ROAR!

The spider monkey burst through the wall, letting out a giant roar, and jumped in the air.

BW: GET DOWN!

Quickly Luz and BW got out of the way from the spider monkey. They skated on the ground and looked up and saw the spider monkey towering above them glaring at them.

Luz: The spider monkey!? How did it find us!?

The black wizard was busy staring at the monkey and noticed a dark black energy surrounding him.

BW: (Could he be-)

Back with Luke and the others

The group got out of the carriage as they were a few feet away from a village.

Luke: Thanks for the help Bobo.

Bobo: Don't mention it *points up to a clift* I'll be up on that clift if you need me to take you back.

Luke: Gotcha.

Bobo: Lets go Chika

The yellow bird named Chika chirped and started walking away from the group. The group turned and looked at the destroyed village.

Levy: Galuna.

Edric: You know this place?

Levy: Yea, this village was known for their crops. They would go to nearby towns and sell them for a high profit.

Lilith: To think a village like this would be met with this destruction.

Everyone agreed with Lilith's statement.

Luke: Well we better fan out and look for clues. Let's split up, if you find anything alert the others.

Everyone nodded their heads and started walking around finding clues. Though Luke did notice something, the twins and Gajeel were no longer arguing.

Luke: Huh?

Levy: *walks up beside Luke* What's up?

Luke: Those three seem to be getting along.

Levy: Oh I guess you missed it.

Luke: *looks at Levy confused* Missed what?

Levy: L-Let's just say Lilith gave them a stern talking to.

Luke just nodded his head. The group began their search looking for any clues of the demon's wearabouts. Soon Luke found a destroyed building and looked down and saw a picture. The picture looked like a young Bobo and beside him was a demon.

Luke looked at the picture with a sad look, this reminded him of his past. Shaking the feeling of him he noticed a claw mark on one of the buildings

Luke: (This mark.)

Luke stretched out his hand and touched the mark. As soon as he touched it his mind went fuzzy as images started to play in his head.

A figure jumped down looking down at him with a smile on his face. He couldn't see the figure's face but he didn't notice his teeth were glowing red.

Luke: *pants heavily* (W-What was-)

Demon: *claps his hands* Ok. Road trip is over, time to go home.

Luke: Not until the mission is over.

Demon: *Covers his face* Oh for the love of, Luke did you not see what was playing in your mind?

Luke: I did and I don't care.

Demon: Are you kidding me? Are you trying to get yourself killed? Remember what the little runt said "Listen to your shoulder demon!" *pats on his chest* Me! I'm the shoulder demon!

Luke: *walks away* I can handle this.

Demon: *runs after him* Don't try any-

Once the demon touched his shoulder, Luke turned around with a glare and was about to yell, but stopped when he noticed it was Emria and Edric.

Luke: Ed, Em.

Edric: *waves nervously* H-Hey Luke.

Luke: What are you two-

Emira: We came over to tell you we didn't find anything. Also we saw you talking to yourself and wanted to check up on you.

Luke:... Oh.

Edirc: You ok Luke?

Luke wanted to tell them that he was fine, but he knew these two wouldn't take that as an answer. He didn't know how to explain to them. Luckily the others showed up.

Gajeel: *yawns* Yep this place is deserted.

Levy: The only things we found were destroyed crops and homes.

Lilith: I fear I didn't find anything of any use either. *looks at the others* How about you three?

Luke: *points* Just this claw mark.

Lilith walked over to the claw mark and investigated it.

Lilith: *touches the mark* Hm.. This mark. It's fresh.

Gajeel: Fresh?

Levy: Meaning someones been here already.

Edric: But wasn't this village destroyed years ago. Why would anyone want to be in this dump?

Emira hit her brother in the back of the head, causing him to hold his head in pain.

Emira: Respect the dead dummy.

Edric: Ok ok.

Luke: *thinks for a second* So our attacker coudn;t have gone far *looks at Gajeel* Hey Gajeel you have a good sense of smell, mind sniffing him out?

Gajeel: *irritated* Oh ha ha! Very funny Martins!

Edric: *confused* Soooo can you?

Gajeel didn't say anything, he just muttered under his breath and walked over to the claw mark. He sniffed the mark and was quiet for a bit. He looked over and pointed to one of the exits of the village.

Gajeel: That way.

Levy: Yes! Nice one Gajeel!

Gajeel: *rubs his nose* I try.

Luke: (Don't get on your high horse.)

Lilith: Perfect. Lead the way Mr. Redfox.

Gajeel walked in front of the group while the others followed behind him. However unknown to them a black snake was watching them. The snake let out a slithered as its eyes started to turn yellow.

?: So he's come, has he?

Near a cave entrance

A familiar green haired demon was standing at the cage entrance looking at the rocky fields and the tree. He started to sniff the air, picking up a scent, and started to smile. Just then another black snake appeared beside him, sitting on some rocks.

?: I'm assuming you already know he's here.

Redtooth: Of course I do. I picked up his scent the moment he stepped foot in this village.

?: I see. Seems he took over one of the survivors of this village's request. I still don't understand why you kept that waste of flesh alive.

Redtooth: Hehehe cause I knew he would want revenge but be too powerless to stop me. He would have to get other people to come and get his revenge only for them to die by my teeth.

?: *eye roll* Sure, cause you knew that would happen.

Redtooth: Don't you have experiments to work on?

?: As I said, I'm here to study more on the black blood demon. Also to help you if you end up screwing u-

Before she could finish that sentence, Redtooth slashed the snake into pieces with his claws as it falled to the ground. The snake started to fade away into nothingness leaving the demon alone.

Redtooth: Damn witch. I don't need her help.

Footsteps started to echo through the cave. The demon turned around and saw two figures walking up to him. The figures stopped and knelt down in front of him.

Redtooth: The black blood and his friends are on his way. You can have the witches and the dragon slayer, but the black blood is mine.

?/?: Yes master.

Redtooth let out a sinister smile and started to chuckle.

With Luke and the others

The group made it to the cave and looked around, they noticed some destroyed rocks on the ground.

Gajeel: Yep this guy is definitely here.

Luke: Why is it always caves?

Levy: Caves have a lot of wonders: Like ancient literature.

Lilith: Undiscovered places.

Levy/Lilith: stalactites that come in different shapes and sizes!

The girls started to squeal as they jumped up and down excited.

Gajeel: They're just caves.

Levy/Lilith: *glares intently at Gajeel*They are filled with wonders.

Gajeel immediately shuts up by doing a zipper motion with his hand to his mouth.

Edric: Well I think caves are gloomy and dark *looks at Luke* Kinda like you Luke.

Luke just side eyed Edric that made him panic a little.

Emira: Aww *hugs his arm* I think Luke is a sweetheart.

Luke: Damn this woman.

Demon: All abort the death train.

Luke looked in front of him and saw the Demon standing there with his hands raised, as he was pulling a pretend train whistle.

Demon: If you don't wish to die, don't get on.

Lilith: Ok everybody ready.

Everybody nodded their heads and started to walk inside the cave.

Demon: Welp I warn them. Next stop death! Choo choo!

As the group continued to walk inside the cave, they looked around and saw there was water dripping down in certain areas, and stalagmites. They continue to walk until Gajeel smells something off, he signals the group to stop walking.

Levy: What's wrong Gajeel?

Gajeel:... Something's coming.

Gajeel transforms his arm into a sword as he continues to look... Then...

Gajeel: *eyes widen as he turned toward the group* GET DOWN NOW!

Something shoots out of the darkness trying to pierce anything in its path. Quick on their feet the group spreaded out and avoided the attack. The attack pierced through some of the cave, and slowly started to return to the user.

?: Awww~ I missssed~

The group looked over and saw someone walking out into view. It appeared to be a girl around her teens, she had long black hair, round red eyes with a black slit. She had pointy ears, and a small round nose. Her hands were resembling that of a snake's body, with long legs. She was wearing a black dress, with matching heels.

?: Oh well~ I guessss I'll try again.

Whenever she talked she would let out a small hiss sound showing off her snake tongue. She looked down at the group and smiled showing off some of her fangs. The group looked up at the threat.

Gajeel: And just who the hell are you?

?: *giggles* Me? Oh jusssst a messssenger that'ssss all.

Gajeel: Well here's what I think of your message!

Gajeel jumps in the air and heads straight towards the girl.

Levy: Gajeel wait!

Gajeel: Iron dragon: Club!

The iron dragon slayer transforms his arm into a club, extending towards the girl, trying to hit her. The girl watches the club head towards her with a smirk. Before the club could hit her another figure jumps down out of nowhere causing a dust cloud. Everyone, other than Gajeel, shielded their eyes from the smoke. Once it cleared a giant 4 arm creature that caught Gajeels arm.

Gajeel: *shocked* What the—

The 4 armed beast grabbed Gajeels beam arm and threw him against a nearby wall.

Levy: *rushes over to him* Gajeel!

?: Are you ok, Susan?

Susan: Aww~~ Were you worried about me, Jacob?

Gajeel: *recognizes that name* Jacob?

Edric: Another one of those guys!? W-What do we do!?

Lilith: Calm yourself! We just need to figure out their abilities and coordinate a plan of attack!

Susan: *giggles* Aww~ it'sss cute you all think you can win.

Jacob: *cracks all 4 of his knuckles* The only thing that would be left for you all is blood stains.

The group glared at the two demons, though Emira noticed something.

Emira: (Hang on. Where's-)

Exciting out of Susan's shadow was Luke, with his sword in hand. He was about to stab her through, but her body moved like a snake avoiding the attack.

Susan: Misssssed me~

Luke: Tck!

Jacob dashes at Luke with two arms on his right side about to punch him. Soon as he did another dust cloud appeared.

Edric/Emira: Luke!

Luckily Luke jumped in the air and landed upside down on the ground looking down at the two.

Susan: *looks up at him* If I had to guessss that mussst be the black blood demon.

Jacob: Seems so.

Susan: *giggles* he issss a cute one though

Jacob grunted from Susan's comment, though he wasn't the only one who didn't like her comment. A certain Blight girl was glaring at the snake girl.

Susan: I guessss the massster getssss to have him then.

Luke: *confused* Master?

Out of nowhere, a black snake busted through from where Luke was standing. Luke's eyes widened and tried to escape but the snake ate Luke and started to slither away.

Everyone: Luke/Lucas.

Susan: *waves* Bye~ Have fun with the massster~

Emira was the first one to try to run after the snake, but Susan used her snake arms to stop her by slamming them down in front of the young blight.

Susan: Sssorry little girl~ But you're not going anywhere.

Emira glared at her, the snake girl brought her arms up and was about to slam them down on Emira.

Gajeel: *dashes towards her* Watch out!

Gajeel was able to block the snake girl's attack but survived some damage from it.

Gajeel: *grunts* You ok?

Emira: Y-Yea thanks.

Susan: Aww~ That'sss cute~

Jacob: More like disgusting.

Susan: Ssssooo which one do you want?

Jacob didn't say anything; he just dashed and grabbed Gajeel and grabbed him by the face. He moved, slamming him into the rocky walls sending them out to different parts of the cave.

Levy: *runs after them* Gajeel!

Susan: Huh, I guesss you get thossse two *looks at the group with a sinister smile* I'll take the ressst.

The three looked at the snake girl with a glare getting ready for a fight.

Back with Luz and Black wizard

The spider monkey growled and slowly started to approach the two.

Luz: A-Any ideas?

BW:... Run.

Luz: *looks at him* Wait wh—

The spider monkey roared at the two and charged at them.

BW: RUN!

Quickly the two started to make a mad dash trying to escape the spider monkey. The spider monkey gave chase to the two, and started shooting webs at the. Quick on her feet Luz pulled out three ice glyphs and activated them creating an ice shield.

BW: That's a neat trick! That wouldn't happen to be glyph magic, would it!?

Luz: Yea! You know about them!?

They hear the spider monkey roar breaking the ice wall, and continue to give chase to the two.

BW: I'll explain later! For now we need a diversion!

Luz: *nods her head* On it!

Luz runs in an opposite direction towards the spider monkey.

BW: *stops running and looks at Luz* What are you—

As Luz continues to run towards the beast, the spider monkey lifts one of its spider legs towards Luz's head but Luz drops and slides under it just in time. She drops an ice glyph under one of its legs, freezing it in place. She activates a plant glyph tying the other three legs together. This caused the spider monkey to drop on its monkey legs. The beast let out a roar and was going to squash the humans with its arms, but Luz wasn't anywhere to be found.

Luz: *offscreen* Now you see me!

The spider monkey looks up and sees Luz heading right for it with a glyph in hand.

Luz: Now you don't!

Lu activates a light glyph to all of the spider monkey's eyes causing the beast to scream out in pain. She then lands beside BW panting heavily

Luz: *says in between breaths* how... Was... that?

BW: *very impressive* Most impressive.

Luz smiled and blushed lightly for the compliment. Though the moment was interrupted when they heard the beast roar. As they looked at the beast the black wizard saw dark energy surrounding the creature.

BW: I see that's what it is.

Luz: Why what?

The beast lets out a roar as the magic scattered all over the place making everything a smoke area. Soon the beast broke free and was able to see again, though it couldn't due to all the smoke. So the beast decided to use his nose to find its prey. However as soon as it did he picked up a horrible scent causing the spider monkey to spaz out. The beast quickly runs away from the scent leaving the area. As the dust started to settle down Luz and the Black wizard were by themselves. Though Luz was using her hand to block out the scent for entering her nose.

Luz: *disgusted* Ugh! What is that horrible scent!? It smells like a dead skunk!

BW: *looks at the human unfazed* You are half correct, the Oder is the combination of a skunk and a Millipedes. *pulls out a bottle of the green oder* They used this to trick their predators into thinking they are dead.

Luz: And you carry that around... Because?

BW: *puts the bottle away* Survival.

Luz: Uh huh. So when does this smell go away?

BW: In about an hour or 2.

Luz: What!?

BW: Shhh just because the beast lost its scent doesn't mean he lost his hearing.

Luz quickly covers her mouth.

BW: We should stay here for a bit before advancing.

Luz: What why? Won't this stuff keep up safe?

BW: Prey uses this tactic to trick their predators into thinking they are dead. If the creature sees us moving regardless of our scent it will still attack and kill us.

Luz: Oh.

BW: *takes a sit* For now, we'll just lay low for a bit.

Luz: R-Right.

There was silence in the air.

Luz: Soo uh you know about glyphs?

BW: *looks at Luz* Yes. I studied them a while back.

Luz: Oh that's cool. *thinks about something* If you don't mind me asking, don't you have any magic

BW: *a little caught off guard* My magic... Well... I can't really control it.

Luz: Wait, really?

BW: Yes *looks at his hand* Whenever I use my spells, my personality changes and well... I end up hurting others.

Luz: *begins to put the pieces together* So that's why you stay here by yourself?

BW: Yes. I isolate myself so I don't hurt others.

Luz: Don't you get lonely?

BW:...

The black wizard stays quiet.

Luz: We'll hey I think of you as a friend.

BW: You consider a stranger you just met a friend?

Luz: Yep after all...

Luz/?: A stranger is a friend you haven't made yet.

This caused the black wizard's eyes to widen. He heard those words before from someone else. This made tears fall from his eyes.

Luz: Whoa l! Are you ok!?

BW: *wipes the tears away* No it's nothing.

Luz: A-Are you sure?

BW: Y-Yes. J-Just an old memory.

Luz: H-Hey how about we talk about something else then?

BW: Sure.

Luz: Ummm oh! You said that beast felt off right?

BW: You mean the cursed energy the spider monkey had?

Luz; Yea the *registers what he said* Cursed energy?

BW: Yes, the dark energy that the beast was giving off was not magic it was cursed energy.

Luz: Meaning it was cursed?

BW: very likely. Though for a second I thought it was created as one.

Luz: Created? But I thought curses were something someone can place on you, like an enchantment.

BW: Well you're half right, in the Boiling Isles there are two different forms of curses: the first one is the one you explain, that a person can place on themselves or others. This type of curse can mess with the physical form of a person and the mental state of said person.

When he said that Luz started to think about Eda, whenever she turned into the owl beast.

BW: The second one is born from the negative said of the users spell.

Luz: Negative side?

BW: Yes you know the positive magic elements in the isles: fire, ice, plant, light, even darkness.

Luz: Darkness too?

BW: Yes. Darkness might seem dark and creepy but it is still a form of magic in the isles, of course there are those who consider it a medium in the positive and negative. All these arts of magic are the positive light force in the isles. What people don't know is the remains of said magic or more so the intent the person uses the magic for.

Luz: Intent?

BW: Not all people use their magic for good, some people use it for selfish reasons: Greed, anger, envy. All these negative emotions reflect on the user and their magic and so the negative feelings slowly start to form creating their own being. Resulting into a curse. *looks down* They are sins born from the witches miss use of magic *mutters in anger* That is why they are the scum of the world.

Luz heard what the black wizard said and was slightly concerned.

BW: *stands up* We spent enough time waiting. *turns around* Let's move.

The black wizard started to walk away, making Luz get up and catch up to him. Though there were several questions running through Luz's head: Why was he crying, how does he know so much about curses, could he be able to heal a curse from someone, and the most important one: When he said they are the scum of the world, was he talking about curses or witches? She felt she already asked him enough questions but still was slightly worried.

Back with Luke

The snake that ate Luke was slithering around the cave. It would continue moving until a dark slash sliced through its throat. The snake let out a yell as Luke jumped out of the snake's throat and landed on the ground panting heavily. Luke looked up at the snake and saw it fall down on the ground slowly disappearing into the shadows.

Luke: What the hell?

Clap. Clap. Clap.

Luke's eyes widened as he turned and saw a green haired demon clapping his hands.

Redtooth: Not bad, not bad at all Black blood.

Redtooth smiled, showing off his red teeth. Luke started at the demon until his head started to hurt as he gripped his head in pain. Redtooth jumped down from the platform and stared at Luke.

Redtooth: I'm glad you showed up. Now I can see *nails start to grow* just how strong you are.

Luke grips his head harder. His head was beating with agonizing pain. As he continued to look at the demon he started to get the feeling he met him before. Before he could ask, an image appeared in Luke's head, it was the time he was a kid, when he, his sister, Y/N, and Zack all entered an abandoned building. They saw the same red teeth demon smiling sinisterly at them. Luke's eyes widened from the memory and glared at the demon.

Luke: You.

Redtooth raised an eyebrow for a second, until he got a good look at Luke. His eyes widened when he realized who he was.

Redtooth: Hehehehe HAHAHAHAHA! Oh now I remember you! You're that same kid that came with that soldier!

Luke started to grit his teeth.

Redtooth: If I remember correctly, you had someone else with you. Your sister perhaps. You both had the same scent after all.

Luke's right eye started to turn red as dark magic started to surround his sword.

Redtooth: Soo, what happened to her? Oh let me guess *smirks sinisterly* She ended up dead.

Luke: *charges out him with the intent to kill*YOU BASTARD!

Luke swings his sword to Redtooths head, but the demon ends up catching it in both his hands.

Redtooth: HAHAHAHA! I'M RIGHT AREN'T I!? Well I don't care about that! Right now I want to see: The power of the black blood!

Slowly red enters started to surround Redtooth and dark magic started to surround Luke. The two started dashing around attacking each other with different attacks, destroying all rocks in sight. While they were fighting a certain ex witch was watching the fight.

Medusa: Hmmm, I see this is the black blood demon. His power is very questionable.

Luke tries to slash the demon but Redtooth catches his sword in his hand. He brings Luke towards him, flipped in the air, and kicks the half demon down, crashing into the ground.

Medusa: One minute he's weaker than Redtooth.

Luke shoots up to the air charging at Redtooth with his blade in hand. He does an up slash making Redtooth barely dodge it. The green haired demon suffered a little cut on his left shoulder, he just smiled at Luke while the half demon glared at him.

Medusa: Then the next second he's stronger than him.

The two let out a yell clashing, creating another shock wave. The two launch a barrage of attacks at each other.

Medusa: It's almost like his power is fluctuating. Very intriguing.

Redtooth ends up getting kicked in the gut, sending him crashing to the wall. Luke brings his sword towards his left shoulder and starts charging dark magic combined with his blood.

Luke: Black Blood demon arc: BLACK SLASH!

Luke swings his sword as a combination of dark and black blood magic heads straight for the demon. Redtooth looks at the incoming attack and smiles sinisterly.

BOOOOOOOOM!

A giant explosion happens. Luke starts panting heavily and falls down to the ground on one knee.

Luke: *pants in between words* D-Damn... That took... A lot... Out of me...

Demon: I wouldn't say it's over yet.

Luke's eyes widened as he looked up and saw Redtooth shielded by a red demon. The demon smiles down at Luke and so does Redtooth.

Redtooth: *jumps down and cracks his neck* Not too bad... But *lifts up his claw as red energy surrounds it* I can do better.

Redtooth brings his hand down and in the flash brings it back up. This caused a claw wave to head towards Luke. Luke's eyes widen from the attack and before anything...

SLASH!

Back with Gajeel

Gajeel gets sent flying across the room. He slowly gets up panting heavily. He is covered in cuts and bruises panting a little. Suddenly a shadow appears below him. He looks up and sees the 4 arm demon, Jacob heading right at him with both his fist raised. Gajeel blocks the attack making the ground below them shatter around them.

Jacob: Black steel Gajeel.

Gajeel: So I guess it really is you, Jacob. Seems someone got a power boost and a cooler change.

Jacob: This power boost was a gift from my master, and I'll use it to get my revenge.

Gajeel: Revenge huh? Still mad about getting embarrassed.

Jacobs glared at Gajeel from that comment. He brings two of his arms back and punched Gajeel hard in the gut. This made the iron dragon cough up blood and get sent flying towards a wall.

Jacob: That was a moment of weakness. A weakness I eliminated *dashes towards Gajeel* Just like I'll eliminate you!

With two arms, Jacob was about to punch Gajeel with full might.

?: Solid script: BARRIER!

Before his punch could reach him a barrier formed around Gajeel, protecting him from the demon's assault.

Jacob: What the—

Jacob turned to his left side and saw Levy with two fingers pointing at him, with the word bullet written.

Levy: *glaring* Bang.

A blue energy, in the shape of a bullet, hits Jacob, sending him skating a few feet away from Gajeel.

Levy: Are you ok!?

Gajeel: Why are you here!?

Levy: To help you that's why! I won't let you fight him alone!

Gajeel: But...

Jacob: *offscreen* So..

The two looked over and saw Jacob standing tall, barely surviving any damage from the bullet.

Jacob: If it isn't Gajeel's little pet. You wish to die too?

Levy: I'm nobody's pet! I'm Levy Mcgarden! And we are going to take you down!

Gajeel: Levy...

He was a bit caught off guard from Levy's reaction. Sure she always had this fire in her but if she knows at times when she is against an opponent that she couldn't win against. Still though he liked this new Levy.

Gajeel: You heard the girl *turns his arm into a club* we are going to take you down.

Jacob: Is that so? Well than *gets into a fighting stance* Come!

The two rushes at the demon.

Gajeel: Iron dragon: Club!

Extending his arm, Gajeel launches it at the demon. The demon flexes his chest and takes the attack head on, only sliding back a little. Steam comes from his chest as he smiles making Gajeel let out a Tch sound. Next was Levy.

Levy: Solid Script: Thunder!

Yellow electricity comes out of the circle shocking the demon. Though Jacob was unfazed as he let out a yell, getting the lightning off him. He then rushes at Levy about to punch her, but quickly draws a circle and writes wind using her feet. A gust of wind sends her in the air dodging the attack. As the wind disappears Gajeel comes running with his fist raised and punches Jacob in the fist.

Jacob: *unfazed* Is that all you got!?

Jacob elbows Gajeel in the gut, sending the iron dragon slayer sliding towards Levy.

Gajeel: Damn this isn't working!

Levy: I have an idea. Can you create a dust cloud?

Gajeel: *smirks* Can I?

Levy: *looks at him* Can you?

Gajeel: *irritated* Of course I can! Iron Dragon Lance!

Gajeel transforms his arm into a lance and with quick movements he shoots beams of lance at his opponents.

Gajeel: Demon Log!

Jacob: *sees the incoming attack* Seriously? Do you think that will hurt me?

But instead of hitting the demon, it hit all the spots around him causing a dust cloud.

Jacob: Tch. What do you plan to do with all this dust? *hears someone approaching behind him* Predictable.

The four arm demon used all his strength and backhanded the air behind him. However, he ended up hitting nothing causing his eyes to widen. Suddenly Levy appeared above him with the words ''water" written in the center.

Jacob: (What is she?)

Suddenly a bright flame was seen coming from the otherside of Jacob. He quickly turns and sees it was a ball of fire heading his way. Before he could react he was hit by the fireball. After that Levy splashed water at Jacob.

Jacob: *annoyed* What do you think that would-

Jacob becomes shocked when he releases his body and starts to become slow.

Jacob: (W-What the!?)

Out of nowhere Gajeel appeared in front of him with his fist raised high.

Gajeel: Iron Dragon:HARD FIST!

Gajeel's whole right arm was covered in iron dragon scales. The iron dragon slayer hits Jacob full force in the face sending the demon crashing into a wall.

Gajeel: That worked.

Levy: *jumps down* Yep. Since his whole body is made out of work, I used fire to distract him and used the water spell to seep into the small cracks in his skin to slow down his movements.

Gajeel: *confused* Uhhhh...

Levy: *sighs* I slowed him down so it was easier for you to hit him.

Gajeel: *understands* Oh! I get it!

Levy: *sweat drops* Geez Gajeel. Anyway we should regroup with the oth-

Suddenly multiple spell circles appeared below the two.

Gajeel: What the hell!?

However, as Levy looked closer to the circles, she noticed their patterns were different from other spell circles. In the middle of the circle was a dark star.

Levy: (This is-) *looks at Gajeel* Gajeel Run!

But it was too late; multiple rock pillars headed straight towards them.

STAB! SPLASH!

Back with Lilith and the twins

SLAM! CRASH!

The Snake demon continues to swing her snake arms all over the place making it hard for the others to approach her.

Susan: Awww~ What'ssss wrong? Having trouble~

The three were currently hiding behind some rubble.

Edric: Geez! She's insane!

Lilith: *looks over a bit* Yes, it would appear so.

Emira: So do we have a plan?

Lilith continued to look at the situation and noticed a few times she would retract her arms and go back to attacking again. This caused an idea to form.

Lilith: *looks at the twins* I need you two to distract her a bit.

Edric: Huh!? Are you insane we could die!

Lilith: If we don't do anything, then we are all going to die! For this to work I need you two trust me!

The twins looked at Lilith for a bit. Edric was still scared but Emira placed a hand on her shoulder.

Emira: I'm with you every step of the way Ed.

Edric: *smiles from her kind words* Ok. *looks at Lilith* We trust you.

Lilith smiled at the Blight siblings. Seeing their relationship reminded her of the old days with her and Eda. The Blight twins got up and used the rubble to approach their opponent, while Lilith stayed behind to analyze the situation.

Susan: Aww~ It'sss no fun if you continue to hide.

Suddenly Susan saw Edric running at her while screaming.

Susan: A frontal assssault, guessss you're not the sssmartessst one in the group, are you?

Susan launches her snake's arms at Edric. Lucky the Blight twin was able to dodge it, however the snake girl used the ground to change the direction of her strike. Edric was barely able to avoid the attack, making the girl chuckle from his attempt. Suddenly Emira was approaching the snake girl from behind, about to cast a spell, but Susan turned around and swung her right arm at Emira. The Blight girl was able to dodge it but the snake girl bounced her arm off the rubble towards Emira. Emira was able to dodge the next attack by rolling away from it. Susan giggled from the show the Blight siblings were showing her and decided to get a bit serious. She started to speed up her strikes towards the Blight siblings. The next two attacks caused the Blight siblings to stumble and fall beside one another,

Susan: You're mine~

The snake girl launched her arms at the twins and pierced through their chest. Susan smile gleefully at successfully killing the two, however the Blights poof into blue smoke shocking the snake girl.

?/?: *offscreen* Over here!

Susan turned around and saw the Blight siblings standing side by side with blue circles in their hands.

Susan: *annoyed* Tch. Illusssion magic.

Slowly Susans arms started to retract as she launched another attack at the two making them dodge the attack. Unknown to the snake girl Lilith was watching how she fights.

Lilith: (She uses her arms to keep her opponents at a distance. Not only that but her arms)

Lilith sees Edric avoid another attack from Susan causing some of the ground to shatter.

Lilith: (Are as fast as a whip and is also strong as steel itself. Though she does have a flaw.)

Lilith takes a deep breath and pulls out an invisibility glyph. She activates it and starts making her way towards the girl. The Blight twins are seen panting heavily as they looked at the Snake girl.

Susan: *arms slither around her* Aw~ Don't tell me your two are done already.

The Blight siblings glare at the girl. She smiles at them about to attack them again. But before she could Lilith appeared above her with three flame glyphs in her hand. She throws the glyph at the girl, however Susan slithers her body side to side dodging the attack.

Susan: *looks at her and smirks* Oh~ The old hag finally came out to play.

Susan was about to attack Lilith but a light glyph fell down causing the snake girl to go a bit blind.

Susan: Ugh! You damn witch!

Lilith: *looks at Edric and Emira* Fall back now!

The twins nodded their heads and started to fall back.

Susan: Oh no you don't! *starts to spin around* WHIP RAMPAGE!

Susans arms started to spin around breaking multiple rocks and causing them to fall down to the ground. Soon as the attack ended the girl regained her vision and saw the damage she did.

Susna: *sighs* I let my temper get the bessst of me and now they have more placesss to hide. *smirks* Oh well~ Guessss I can ssslither around and find them.

Susan started walking around the rubble trying to sneak on them like a snake. After she checked a few rocks she noticed something heading above her. She looked up and saw a rock about to hit her.

Susan: Ssseriousssly.

She brings her right hand back and slams at the rock, but instead of breaking it just poofed into blue smoke.

Susan: What the-

Edric: *offscreen* Over here!

Susan turned over and saw Edric standing on some rubble.

Edric: *sticks his tongue out* Bleeeeh! What's the matter you big ugly snake freak? Can't hit me?

Emira: *appears beside her brother* Aww brother don't tease the snake girl. It's not her fault she sucks at aiming.

As the Blight siblings start laughing between each other, Susan starts to get annoyed by their jokes.

Susan: *tick mark* Sssso it'sss ssseemsss you two *flares her arms around* REALLY WANT TO DIE!

Susan throws her arms towards the twins causing them to job out of the way. She stretches her arms again to launch another attack at the twins as they barely were able to dodge it. As the two continue to dodge the attack they thought of the plan Lilith came up with

Flashback

Lilith and the Blight siblings were hiding from Susan, lucky they didn't get badly hurt from the snake girl's attack. However they did suffer some cuts and a few bruises from the falling rubble.

Edric: That was your best attack! We distracted her for that long and that was what you came up with!

Emira: Ed, calm down!

Edric: Calm down!? We are out there risking our necks and the best this woman came up with was a charged assault!? That is something I would come up with and I'm dumb!

Emira: *worried* Ed.

Lilith: *stands up* I get your frustration young Blight, but I just need to analyze more of our enemies movements.

Edric: *confused* Uhh what?

Lilith: Yes. What I was able to gather our opponent using more long range attacks.

Edric: I mean yea we get that.

Lilith: However, she could only use those attacks for a certain amount of times.

Emira: Really? How many times?

Lilith: From what I can tell she can only swing each arm about 5 times before it has to be retracted. Once it does she has to wait approximately 3 seconds before she can launch her attack again. After I figure that out I need to know how she would be able to avoid an attack once her time was out.

Emira: So that's why you ran in and attacked her.

Lilith: *nods her head* Correct. She's able to slither her body avoiding an attack. In order to land a solid attack on her, we need to keep her from moving.

Emira: We can help with that.

Lilith looks at Emira.

Emira: Creating clones isn't the only thing we can do. We can also change our bodies' appearance as well.

Lilith: (Impressive.)

Edric: Ok ok I think I get it now, but is she really going to let use try this again? I'm pretty sure she will be smart enough to not make another mistake again.

Lilith: You're right about that, however, she does have one flaw.

The twins looked at Lilith.

Lilith: Her temper.

Twins: Temper?

Lilith: Once I blinded her with the light glyph, she let her temper spike make her make the mistake of creating more rocks to use to console ourselves.

Edric: Meaning?

Lilith: If we can annoy her enough to make a similar mistake, we can catch her off girl.

The twins looked at each other and smiled.

Emira: Let's just say we know a thing or two of making someone angry.

Lilith: So are you two ready?

The twins nodded their heads and were about to head out.

Lilith: Mr. Blight.

Edric stopped and looked at Lilith.

Lilith: I'm sorry if I didn't fill you in on the whole plan before. It was my mistake.

Edric:... Yea well, I shouldn't have yelled at you like that without hearing you out. It's just I'm not that bright in my family and my sisters are all I have that still love me for me. I just didn't want to lose them, you know?

Lilith looked at the Blight brother in aw. Seeing how much he cared for his sibling was touching for her.

Emira: *smacks Edric's head* Alright that's enough of love dove stuff. We have a snake bitch to beat.

Edric: *rubs his head* Ow! Jeez, ok.

The twins run off leaving Liith by herself.

Lilith: The bonds between siblings. *smiles* Reminds me of the past.

Flashback end

The twins continue to avoid the snake girl's attack while throwing insults at her.

Emira: Aww~ What'sss wrong ssscaly?

Edric: Having trouble hitting ussss?

Susan: *becomes even more annoyed* Don't ssstart pussshing your luck!

Susan unleashed another attack piercing through the siblings, but just like before they poofed in thin air.

Susan: Damn it!

Reaching her limit she had to retract her arms again.

Lilith: (Now!)

Lilith, using the invisible glyph, appeared. She throws glyphs at the girl causing her to glare.

Susan: This trick again? How many timesss are you going to use that before you realize that won't work against me!?

As soon moved her body to dodge the attack, she felt someone grab her arms.

Susan: What the!?

She turns and sees the Blight twins were on both sides grabbing her arms. She noticed that their arms had changed and looked more jacked than before.

Susan: (They're able to change their appearance!?)

Susan turned and saw ice glyphs heading for her. She used her body to dodge the attack, but what she didn't realize she was behind a big rock. So once she dodge it she became trapped with the boulder behind her and the ice glyphs keeping her in place.

Susan: (They used the rubble I created to their advantage, and made sure I could slither my body by trapping it in ice!)

The snake girl looked up and saw Lilith charging at her at full speed. But instead of looking scared she smiled.

Susan: (However..)

What she did next shocked the group. Her neck extended forward towards Lilith, shocking the group. She opens her mouth heading right towards Lilith's neck.

Edric/Emira: !

BIT!

Susan bit down on Lilith's neck causing the oldest Blight sibling to stop her assault. The Blight siblings looked at the scene in horror.

Susan: (I didn't show you all of my tricks. My arms aren't the only part of my body I can extend. I can extend any part of my body towards my opponent. Not only that, my fangs also have a deadly poison in it, that will slowly kill you. As much as I hate chewing down on old hags like you, I will enjoy watching you wallow in pain from my poison.)

As Susan was celebrating her victory, she started to feel something on her teeth.

Susan: *confused* (Wait a minute, why is her blood *eyes widen in shock* SO COLD!)

Susan thought she took a bite on Lilith's neck, but really she took a bit on an ice glyph Lilith placed on her body.

Susan: *muffled* W-W-Whut thw hwll!?

Lilith: *looks up at Susan* What's wrong? Can't get a good bit?

Susan: (She placed an ice glyph on her neck!? But When!?)

As Susan thought about it she noticed that Lilith was hiding the right side of her neck when she was approaching her.

Susan: (She had it on her the whole time!?)

Lilith: You might have looked down on me cause of my appearance, though I look old I still have years of wisdom.

Lilith rushes at the girl, still biting the ice, and charges at her with her fist raised.

Susan: (What is she insane!? Does she think a fist like that can hur-

Susan was cut off mid thought when Lilith hit her with full force causing the witch girl to bite down, breaking the ice and making her cough up blood.

Susan: WHAT!?

What Susan didn't notice was Lilith not only put an ice glyph on her neck, but put a power glyph on the back of her neck, increasing the power of her fist.

Lilith: So learn to respect your elders! Youngling!

Susan was sent flying, as the Blight twins let go off her arms, breaking through rocks over rocks. As soon as she hits the last one lets out a gasp of air with blood flying in the air. She falls on the ground as rubble starts to fall on top of her. After that was over, Lilith was panting heavily as he fell down on the ground.

Lilith: *touches side of her neck* (Using that ice glyph was completely reckless. If I was careful I could have frozen my own blood like that. Guess I'm not so different from my sister after all.)

Twins: Ms. Lilith!

Lilith turned over and saw the Blight siblings running up to her.

Edric; That was so cool!

Emira: I know right!? Talk about girl power!

Lilith: *chuckles as she slowly gets up* Yes well I couldn't have done it without you.

Edirc: How did you hit her that hard?

Lilith was hesitant but removed a power glyph from the back of her neck.

Lilith: *looks at it in remorse* I told myself I wouldn't use this again.

She starts to remember when she placed this on the back of Amity's neck to win against her fight with Y/N. Although she used it because she thought her sister would cheat against her, it still pained her that she had to use cheap tricks to win, or try to win.

Edric: Hey, don't worry about it Lilith.

Lilith: *smiles from the Blights young words* Thank you. Well let's go look for the oth-

STAB!

In a flash, Lilith was pierced in her stomach making the Blights look at the scene in horror. She was thrown to the side causing her to hold her stomach in pain as she coughed up blood.

Twins: MS. LILITH!

Before the twins could back it towards her, the snake girl's arms wrapped around them hovering them up in the air. Footsteps were heard as everyone saw Susan walking up to them, though she was different. She had some kind of weird marks lines around her body and her eyes were blood red.

Susan: Don't start getting cocky.

Back with Luke.

Luke was panting heavily as he was down on his knees. The half demon had a giant slash wound coming from his left shoulder down to his right side. He had blood dripping down from his mouth as he looked down to the damage the demon's attack did on the ground.

Redtooth: What a shame. I had thought you were stronger than that.

Redtooth slowly started to approach the black blood demon. As soon as he made it to him he lifted the boy up with his right hand by his neck.

Redtooth: I don't see what the master sees in you. To me you're just a weak brat.

Redtooth continued to choke Luke as he tried his best to shake him off but his body had suffered too much damage to do anything.

Redtooth: Oh well I guess *smiles* I'll just take a bite.

Hiding nearby, Medusa had watched the fight play out and was really disappointed.

Medusa: What a shame. I expected more from the son of Ragnorak, but if this is the limit of his abilities then I have lost all interest.

As Medusa was about to walk away she felt something that made her body flinch.

Medusa: *turns around* (W-What the!? W-What was that?)

As she looked at the scene of Redtooth holding Luke she started to feel dark energy around the boy.

Medusa: (W-What is this?)

Inside Luke's mind

Luke was lying down on the ground breathing heavily. He was in a black void staring at the black emptiness. Suddenly his demon appeared above him looking down at him.

Demon: We are going to die. You know that right.

Luke:...

Demon: *sits in front of him* Luke... Do you want to die?

Luke:...

Demon: I get you. You want to die to stop me from hurting others. Fair. However, don't you know how scary death is? Once you die you're scared because you don't know where you'll end up. You're scared because you don't know what will happen next. And finally you're scared of the pain you'll leave behind for the others.

Luke:...

Demon: You know what it was like when Sally died. We barely could function. We were like broken pieces of a puzzle. Do you really think the others won't be the same?

Luke started to think of all the friends and people he meant.

Demon: Tell you what, let me take control that way we won't end up dead. How's that sound?

Luke:...

Demon: *sighs heavily* Fine I promise I won't kill any of your friends. Will that be enough to address your concerns? *groans* How boring.

Luke:... I... Don't... want... To die...

Demon: *stands up* Sounds like a yes to me. *walks away* Get some rest, I'll take care of everything.

Slowly everything started to fade into darkness.

Back to the world

As Redtooth was about to bite Luke his body flinched when he saw Luke smirk at him and his eyes glow red. Luke slapped the demon's hand off him and slashed him, with his hand. The demon's eyes widen as he quickly jumps back. Once he was far enough, Redtooth looked at his shoulder to find the wound only to find nothing on him. This caused the demon to widen his eyes. He could have sworn the black blood demon had slashed him.

Redtooth: H-He's changed.

The demon looked up at Luke and saw his wounds started to heal. Not only that he saw that darkness started to surround him turning his arms into demon arms as 2 horns started to form on his head. After that Luke started to crack his neck a few times and looked at Redtooth with a smirk.

Luke?: Hey, what's up.

Back with Gajeel and Levy

After the dust had settled from Jacob's attack, Gajeel was seen, in his dragon scales, covering his face with his arms. He slowly uncovers his face and notices he has magic surrounding him.

Gajeel: This magic... *realizes* Lev-

Gajeel's eyes widened in horror when he looked at Levy. She was pierced through the stomach.

Gajeel: LEVY!

The iron dragon slayer runs over and shatters the stones free the girl. He catches her and sets her down.

Gajeel: You idiot! Why did you do that!?

Levy: *looks at him weakly* S-Sorry... I didn't... Want to risk you... Getting hurt...

Gajeel: But why?

Levy: *smiles weakly* Remember what... Lilith said...

Flashback

The twins and Gajeel continue to glare at one another, with Levy and Lilith watching.

Lilith: *clears her throat getting the groups attention* So I can see there is a problem with our team, so how about we address the issue.

Edric: Why don't we start with *points at Gajeel* this guy being a big jerk!

Gajeel: Hey man, that was the old me!

Emira: And what's the difference between that you and the you now?

Gajeel: The old me would have kicked your asses, and the now me is being patient with your annoying asses!

Levy: H-Hey let's calm down here.

Emira: Wow Black steel everybody. Guess grammer wasn't your best subject.

Gajeel: Are you seriously trying to pick a fight!?

The three continue to argue with Levy trying to calm them down. Lilith watched the scene and was having enough of it.

Lilith: *yells* CEASE THIS SENSELESS ARGUMENT!

Everyone instantly went quiet as they turned towards Lilith.

Lilith: *sighs* I get you all have strong emotions towards each other, regarding to black steels history. But for now I need you all to put aside your anger to one another.

Edric: *in disbelief* So you want us to forgive this guy!? What he did to us!? To our sister!?

That comment made Gajeel flinch a bit as he looked away.

Lilith: Young Blight. I might not know what he did to you and your family, and I won't tell you to forgive him immediately... However,

All Lilith did was point to Gajeel. The twins looked over and saw his face contain a look of regret and shame. The twins were surprised by this. Usually Gajeel would have a snarl on his face or just glared at them. To see him like this was rare.

Lilith: He very much regrets his past actions and is trying to make amends from his mistake. *looks at Gajeel* I'm sure you're aware that change isn't easy, right?

Gajeel:... Yea.

Lilith: But you shouldn't let that stop you from trying to change. It can be hard, you'll go through trial and error at times, but if you can continue through all of it, you will find happiness.

Gajeel was touched by Liliths words as he looked at her. She had a kind smile showing she was or still is going through her own change as well. He feels Levy put a hand on her shoulder smiling at him.

Lilith: *looks at the twins* Now I'm not saying you should forgive him immediately, I'm saying don't let his past actions detaked his future attention. Give him time, slowly trust him, and eventually you begin to see he has truly changed.

The twins looked over at Gajeel as the dragon slayer looked at them. What Lilith said was true, they couldn't forgive him not now but however they did want to trust him.

Levy: *looks over at Lilith and mouths* Thank you.

Lilith just smiles and nods her head

End of Flashback

Levy: We are... A team... We always have... to be there for... One another.

Gajeel: *starts to tear up* Levy...

Levy: *smiles* Aww come on... It isn't... Like you... Too... *eyes slowly shut* cry.

Gajeel: *eyes widen* Levy!

Levy closed as Gajeel looked at the girl with horror and sadness. Levy was always there for him, making sure he never spent his life alone. She would be there to heal his wounds and always ask if he was ok. No matter how many times he would tell her to leave him alone, she would always be there for him. Seeing her like this made him feel a pain in his chest.

The sound of footsteps starts to echo through the cave. Jacob emerged from the smoke, showing off some marks forming on his body.

Jacob: Looks like your little blue haired friend was the first one to go. She was always the weaker one between you two, so it makes sense that she would die first.

Gajeel: *mutters* Shut up...

Jacob: *walks over to him* Look at you, the black steel Gajeel, kneeling down and crying for a pathetic witch weakling. How the mighty has fallen.

Gajeel: *mutters* Shut up.

Jacob: *stands above Gajeel* That's the thing between you and me Gajeel. Ever since the humiliation you gave me, I cast aside all weak attachments for the sake of power. I'm am the true *launches a fist a Gajeel* STRONGEST!

Gajeel raises his hand blocking the fist shocking Jacob. The dragon slayer looks up at Jacob scaring him.

Gajeel:I said shut the hell up.

Gajeel punches Jacob with full force sending him flying across the room. Jacob crashes into the wall coving up blood in the process. Gajeel gently sets Levy down as he slowly starts making his way towards Jacob. The four arm demon slowly looks up and sees Gajeel with a pissed off look. This sent a bit of tear Jacob has never felt before. However he shook it off and charged at Gajeel with full force. He lifts his arms up and tries to slam them on Gajeel, but the iron dragon slayer catches his fist as the floor shatters underneath them.

Jacob: What!?

Gajeel: *hair covering his eyes* What's the matter? That's all you got.

Jacob: DAMN YOU!

Jacob brings two of his arms back and hits Gajeel in the gut with full force creating a shock wave to happen. The four arm demon thought he did some damage but the iron dragon slayer, still covered in scales, tanked the attack and stood there on faced.

Jacob: B-But how!?

Gajeel: You are right about one thing Jacob.

Jacob: !

Gajeel: I have gotten soft over the years. You could say I've become a nice guy. So how about I remind you...

Gajeel slowly looked up at Jacob causing him to look at Gajeel in pure terror.

Gajeel:Why I'm called Black steel Gajeel.

Gajeel lifted his right foot up, turned it into a club, and kicked Jacob in the chin causing the four arm demon head to go up flying, spitting up blood. The demon staggered a bit and looked at Gajeel in shock.

Jacob: B-But how!?

Gajeel: Just because you turned into stone, you really thought I still couldn't hurt you?

Jacob: DAMN YOU! MULTIPLE FIST BARRAGE!

Jacob launched a barrage of attacks at Gajeel hitting the iron dragon slayer on.

Jacob: *continue to strike Gajeel* YOU ARE NOTHING BUT AN OVERGROWN LIZARD! I SACRIFICED EVERYTHING FOR THE SAKE OF POWER BLACK STEEL! AND I WILL USE ALL OF IT TO KILL YOU!

Suddenly Gajeel breaks out of Jacobs fist Barraged leaving the demon not only wide open for an attack but leaving him stunned and shocked.

Gajeel: That so? Well Jacob let me tell you something.

Gajeel punches Jacob in the chest causing the four arm demon to spit up blood and send him flying. The iron dragon slayer dashes and appears behind Jacob.

Gajeel: *raises his fist* I spend years after years *punches Jacob in the air* training my body

Jacob was sent flying into the air as Gajeel dashed behind him again

Gajeel: *slams his fist on his head* Pushing my body to its limit.

Jacob falls down to the ground shattering it, leaving him in a crater. The four arm demon gasps in pain as his eyes slowly turn white. Suddenly Gajeel comes down slamming his feet on the demon's chest causing Jacob to cough up blood. The iron dragon slayer launched a barrage of attacks on Jacob.

Gajeel: All for one reason and one reason only: To be the best, and strongest person the isles *raises his fist high in the sky* HAS EVER SEEN!

Gajeel launched his final attack on Jacob's chest, causing green magic to rise in the sky. The magic took the shape of a dragon roaring loud in the cave. After everything slowly started to calm down, Gajeel looked down at the unconscious demon as he slowly started to walk away.

Gajeel: *stops with his back facing Jacob* That's the difference between you and me, You would sacrifices your friends and soul for power, while me *turns his head* I sacrifice nothing.

Gajeel walks away from the unconscious demon, and looks over to his fallen friend.

Gajeel: *runs over to her* Levy!

Soon as Gajeel made it to her, he noticed the wound on the girl was healed. He looked at her and saw a smile on his face.

Gajeel: *deadpan look* You heard everything didn't you?

Levy: Yep.

Gajeel: *yells* You damn idiot! I was worried about you!

Levy: *giggles* Yea I know. *smiles sweety* And I'm happy that you care that much.

This caused Gajeel to blush lightly as he turned his head away. Levy couldn't help but giggle from his reaction. Soon the dragon slayer walked up and carried the girl bride style causing her to blush a bit.

Levy: G-Gajeel?

Gajeel: You're injured so I'll carry you back to the others.

Levy was amazed by this. She let out a smile and nodded her head.

Back with Lilith and the others

The situation was dire, Lilith had been impaled and heavily injured, the twins were being held captive by the snake girl's arms, and said girl barely had any wounds on her.

Susan: I can't believe this. Not only did I had to shed my skin to avoid a fatal blow, I had to resort to using my cursed mark in order to win.

Lilith: *coughs up blood* C-Curse?

Susan: Oh surely you've realized it? The power I possess is that of a curse. It was a gift for my grace in order to kill pathetic witches like you.

Lilith looked at the girl in utter shock. To hear that this woman was a curse was beyond shocking, but how? Suddenly the cave started to shake causing everyone to flinch from it.

Susan: Ssso the master is fighting the black demon huh?

Twins: (Luke!)

Susan: Awww~ What a shame. And he was a cute one too~

This made a certain Blight twin to gain a tick mark on her head.

Susan: *puts her arms on her cheek* Hopefully the master doesn't hurt him too badly. Maybe I can show him what a real girl can do~

Susan licked her lips hoping that her master is still keeping Luke alive. Unknown to her, a certain Blight sibling started to get irritated, and the other one was getting worried.

Edric: E-Em?

Emira: Oh really?

Susan: *looks up at Emira* Hmm.

Emira: You really think he would be with a lizard like you?

Susan: *smirks* Why wouldn't he? He would rather be with a real woman. Instead *looks at Lilith* of an old hang *looks at Emira* and an annoying little brat.

Emira gains a tick mark as she starts to growl in anger.

Edric: *scared for his life* S-Sis! C-Calm down! Don't do anything you'll regret!

Emira: *hair covering her eyes* The only thing I'm going to regret... *looks at Susan with pure rage* Is not beating the living shit out of this bitch!

Susan: Hehe~ Well sssssorry... You won't get the chanccccce!

Susan added pressure to her arms, choking Emira. While Lilith was looking in horror, Edric was still scared. Suddenly Emira poofed out of thin air shocking everyone.

Susan: What!?

Susan felt someone touch her shoulder making her flinch. She turned and saw Emira with her fist raised high, as she punched Susan causing her to stumble back, dropping Edric. Emira catched the young Blight twin and dropped him on the ground.

Edric: Ow...

Emira: *walks passed him* Ed, take care of Ms. Lilith, I'll deal with this bitch.

Edric: *quickly gets up* G-Gotcha!

Edric runs over to Lilith and helps her up.

Lilith: A-Are you sure it's wise to let her fight alone?

Edric: L-Lets just say, *looks at Emira* Sis won't lose.

Emira and Susan face off at each other, one glaring and the other smirking.

Susan: Do you really think you can beat me on your own?

Emira: You know that little mouth of yours is really starting to irritate me.

Susan: Oh~ Issss that sssso? Well then *swings her arms* LET ME PUT YOU DOWN THEN!

Emira dodged the attack and started running towards the snake girl. Susan moves her arms doing another attack to cause Emira to block. However the Blight girl was sent flying towards a wall crashing into it. Susan smirked from that but was shocked to see the Blight rushing back at her. Emira fired a blue spell causing Susan to block it, the snake girl counter by slamming Emira on the ground and then swatter her away towards a boulder causing her to crash into it. Emira falls on the ground covered in deep cuts, blood dripping from her head and mouth, and her clothes were ripped.

Susan: *laughs* Don't tell me you really thought that russssshing in would really work!? You really are an idiot!

Emira slowly started to get up. She looked down the whole time.

Susan: Oh~ You can ssssstill stand huh? Do you really think you can beat me with all those injuriesssss?

Emira: *slowly starts to smile*... Am I really injured?

Susan: Huh?

Emira: I said am I really injured *looks up at her* or is all of my injuries an illusion?

Susan: The hell are you going on about? I felt all those attack'sssss connect, so it's obviousssss you're real.

Emira: I could be real, or I could have boasted up the power of one of my clones to seem real.

Susan: *shocked* What? *shakes her head* No! Impossible! Even if that issss true, why bother telling me that!?

Emira: *giggles darkly* Oh~ Like you said I'm an idiot maybe I told you this to think you've been hitting an illusion. Or~ I'm really the real thing speaking notice. So I'll ask you again: Am I an illusion or am I real?

This made Susan start to doubt her answer. She was sure she was really due to all the attacks she launched, and the damage on her body had to be real. Not only that the only thing she has shown her from her illusion powers were making clones and boasting her strength so she had to be the real one.

Susan: You're real!

Emira: *smirks* Am I really?

Susan: *annoyed* Yessssss you are! And I'm going to prove it!

Susan launched her arms at Emira, but as soon as they were close they were repealed.

Susan: W-What the!?

Emira: *giggles* What's wrong? *eyes start to glow blue* Can't hit me?

Suddenly blue magic started to form around Emira. The magic started to push around dirt and derby around the room shocking the group. Everyone had to shield their eyes from the force. As Susan was watching she noticed the magic started to change into some kind of monstrous beast.

Susan: W-W-What is thissss?

Emira: *acts confused* What's what?

Susan: T-T-That thing!

Emira: *looks above her* I don't see anything. *looks at Susan* Maybe you're just seeing things.

Is this a trick? Some kind of joke? Was she seeing things? Those were the thoughts running through Susans mind. She couldn't tell if she was joking or not.

Emira: *smirks* Maybe it's all an Illusion.

Susan: *becomes ever more irritated* SHUT UP!

Suddenly Susan arms started to change, snake heads started to appear on the tip. She launched the heads at Emira, biting down on the magic.

Susan: It doesssssn't matter if it's an illusssssion or not! As long asssss it's magic, my fangsssss will ssssink its teeth in it, making that thing disssssappear!

Out of nowhere Emira appeared putting Susan in a choke hold.

Emira: You know, you really should let your temper get to you.

Susan: *looks at her in shocked* But where did you come from!?

She then turns over and sees Emira still standing there.

Susan: So that wassss an Illusion *looks at her arm* And you're the real one!

Susan bit down on Emira sinking her fangs into her skin. However, Emira was unfazed and stared at the snake girl with an emotionless gaze.

Emira: Am I really?

Susan: *shocked* ...!

Emira: *offscreen* Come on now.

Susan looked up and saw the other one walking up to her, smacking her arms away. Susan tried to move her arms but they fail to move.

Susan: (W-What's going on!?)

Emira: Did you really think I would risk sneaking up on you like that?

Emira slowly started to walk over to the scared snake girl, making Susan panic.

Susan: (I-I don't get it! Even if this is an illusion my venom should be able to neutralize it or even weaken it! S-So what's going on!?)

Emira: *stops in front of her* So let me ask you again?

Suddenly multiple Emira clones appeared around her. All the clones had blue magic around them, slowly starting to take forms of a beast.

Emira clones: Is this an illusion or is this real?

The beast all looked at Susan with the intent to kill. Susan started to have tears form in her eyes as she couldn't do anything. She didn't know the answer, she didn't know what was real and what was fake anymore. All she knew was she was fighting a beast, a predator, and she was the prey. The beast above Emira attacked Susan causing the girl to scream out loud. And then...

Susan was seen on the ground breathing heavily with her arms out passed out on the ground with blood dripping. She had a bite mark on her bottom lip. Emira was seen towering above her looking down at the girl in disappointment.

Lilith: *confused* W-What just happened?

Emira: *looks at lilith* An illusion.

Lilith: I-Illusion?

Emira: *nods her head* Remember that punch I gave her? I placed a spell on her, trapping her mind in an illusion. I needed time for the spell to activate, so that's why I'm covered in wounds.

Lilith: But why were we able to see it?

Emira: *rubs her head embarrassed* It's still an incomplete spell so once I use it, other people can see what's going on.

Edric: That's why I got scared, last time you used it you almost destroyed someone's mind.

Emira: It's his fault for cheating on me.

Lilith: (Such a powerful mind spell. She truly is a Blight.)

Emira: *looks at the girl* Still though, I'm still kind of pissed off. Soo

Suddenly a giant Illusion of Emira appeared above her. She used a chopping motion with her hand and slammed it down on Susan, causing the snake girl to cough up blood, while the sound of bones cracking echoed through the cave. Emira's illusion started to fade away leaving Susan in a crater passed out on the ground.

Emira: Now I've broken her mind and her body. *smiles* I feel great.

After Emira said that she ended up passing out, lucky her brother caught her before she fell.

Edric: You just had to exhaust the last of your magic didn't you?

Emira didn't say anything. She slowly closed her eyes, falling deep asleep.

Edric: I'll take that as a yes.

Edric gently set Emira on the ground and sighed a breath of relief. Suddenly they heard footsteps and saw Gajeel walking with Levy in her arms.

Lilith: It seems you also succeed in defeating your opponent.

Gajeel: *walks up to the group* Yea, guy was a piece of cake. Seems you guys finished as well

Gajeel gently lays Levy down beside Emira.

Gajeel: Sooo any of you guys know any healing powers.

Edric: *pokes his finger* W-Well..

Gajeel: *sweat drops* I'll take that as a no.

Lilith: *pulls out a glyph* I wouldn't say I have a way to heal.

Lilith pulls out a glyph. It was a giant circle connected to that circle with a light glyph and plant glyph connected. She puts the glyph on Emira's wound as it slowly starts to heal her. She also uses that glyph combo on herself and Levy as well.

Edric: Whoa!

Gajeel: *impressed* Cool. Where did you learn that?

Lilith: *sweat drops and looks away nervously* Well..

Flashback

It was late at night in the owl house and Lilith was still up working on a new glyph combo. Her combo she was working on was combining light and plant. The only problem is she's been working on this for three days. She has bags under her eyes, hair a mess, and looks like she has completely been sleep deprived. Soon she was able to finish the glyph and giggled in glee. She decided to test it on a dying plant. Once she placed the glyph on the plant case, nothing happened for a few seconds. Lilith was about to be disappointed until the plant started to come to life, screeching.

Lilith: *shocked* It worked? *glees in joy* It worked!

She was so excited she couldn't wait to show Luz. She went straight into the humans room to show her the progress she made.

Lilith: *whispers* Luzz~

Luz started to groan as her eyes slowly started to grow. As she did she saw the older Clawthorne sibling and uh... The way she was holding the plant close to her, in the dark, made it look like some kind of terrifying monster.

Lilith: *creepy* It worked~

And the voice just made it worse. Sooooo... Luz screamed and started throwing a whole bunch of fire glyphs at her. Why does she have them? A great question.

The next morning.

Eda: *deadpan look while holding a cup of coffee* I worry about you Lilith.

Luke: *Deadpan* You and I both.

Lilith was covered in burnt marks, with a smile on her face. She was getting treated by Luz and Y/N, using the glyph she made. Luz continued to say sorry over and over, and Y/N was just confused about the whole situation.

Lilith: *overjoyed* It works on people too.

Luke: *sweat drops* I think you are missing the big problem here.

End of Flashback

Lilith just chuckled nervously while Gajeel and Edric gave the women a deadpan look.

Gajeel: You are really creepy, you know that?

Edric: Agreed.

Lilith: *blushes embarrassed* It worked didn't it!?

Edric/Gajeel: Still missing the problem.

Suddenly a dark force of magic flowed in the air causing everyone, who was still conscious, jolted. They looked over and saw dark magic flowing in the room.

Edric: W-What was that!?

Lilith: T-This magic! And the direction it's coming from! It' were-

Edric: Luke! *runs over* He's in danger!

Lilith: Mr. Bligh! Don't!

Edric: But I just can'T leave him there! He needs help!

Before Edric could keep running Gajeel picked him up by his shirt and held him up.

Edric: Hey! *struggles to get out* Let me go!

Gajeel: You're not in any condition to fight whatever is there. Let me handle it.

Lilith: Mr. Redfox! You can't-

Gajeel: I'm the only person here that can at least fight that thing that's there! I'm a dragon slayer so don't underestimate me lady!

Lilith stayed quiet from Gajeel's outburst. Gajeel gently put Edric down and started walking passed.

Gajeel: Don't worry, I'll bring your little boyfriend back.

This caused Edric to blush and was about to say something but stopped when Gajeel said

Gajeel: Edric.

That was the first time he called his name.

Gajeel: We'll both come back, don't worry.

Gajeel dashes off leaving the two alone. The two looked in utter shock at what Gajeel did and said. Unknown to them, a smiling Levy was glad at what Gajeel said. But still she was worried from the dark magic she felt.

Back with Luke

Redtooth was staring at Luke? In shock. He saw the kid's body and appearance have fully changed.

Redtooth: (Is this the black blood in him?)

Luke?: *stretches and looks around* So this is the outside world huh? Doesn't look that much different from the black room. *smirks* Course then again it's a cave so not much of a difference there. *notices something* Hang on... I talked! Oh Titan I talked! Usually its *snarls and hiss* kind of sounds but I can actually talk! *looks at Redtooth* Hey you! Quick let's have a conversation!

Redtooth doesn't say anything. He just continues to glare at Luke.

Luke?: *confused* Uhhhh... Hello? Anyone home? *does not get a replay* Not much of a conversation started are you? *rolls his eyes* Gee you must be fun at parties.

Redtooth: *growls* Who are you?

Luke?: Ah! You can talk! Good Good. Now we're getting somewhere.

Redtooth continues to growl at him.

Luke?: *raises his hands* Ok ok. You asked so I'll answer. *clears his throat* I'm Luke.

Redtooth:... Do you take me as some kind of fool?

Luke?:... Do you want me to lie orrrrr...

Redtooth: There's no way in hell you're that same brat I fought before! He was weak and you... You're...

Redtooth looked at the child and saw a demon formed above him smiling sinisterly at him.

Redtooth: *sweats a bit* Different from him.

Luke?: Now that's just rude sir. Just because I change my appearance a bit doesn't give you the right to judge.

Redtooth: Enough of this! I came here to see the power of the black blood demon! Not indulge in a stupid conversation!

Redtooth brought his claw back and slashed it up in the air. This created a wave of red energy, in the shape of a claw, shattering the ground, to head for the child.

Medusa: *watching from a distance* (Idiot! Can't you tell the difference between your power and his!)

Standing there unfazed, the demon backhanded the attack, shattering it into pieces. This left Redtooth shocked at how his attack was destroyed.

Luke?: Now that's just rude. *holds his hand up in an uncaring matter* This has been my first conversation outside of the black room and you don't want to talk to me. *sighs* Then again *looks away while putting his hand on his neck* you are my enemy so I shouldn't be surprised. *looks at him and smiles* Ok ok. In that case...

Suddenly the demon disappears. Redtooth was shocked and before he could react the demon was in front of him, with his hand out, and a frown on his face.

Luke?: *menacingly* You will die here.

The demon grabs Redtooths face and plants him on the ground causing a shockwave. This put Redtooth in a crater as he coughed up blood. The demon removed his hand and walked beside Redtooth

Luke?: Hey hey. Come on now. *puts his hands on his hips and looks down* Don't tell me you're done after that one attack?

The green haired demon looked up at the demon with a minusting but weak glare. He struggled to lift not only his head but the rest of his body off the ground.

Luke?: There you go. Just keep doing your best.

Suddenly the demon kicked Redtooth in the air causing him to spit up blood. The demon smirked at Luke, lined his leg up, and kicked him to the otherside of the room. The wall shattered and fell on top of Redtooth, while the demon smirked.

Luke?: *wonders* Maybe I used too much force.

Suddenly the rubble explodes showing Redtooth surrounded in red energy panting heavily.

Luke?: Oh maybe not. *smiles* good to see you are still alive.

Redtooth takes a step and dashes towards the black blood demon going for claw shoots. But the demon just dodges all of Redtooths attacks and smiles.

Luke?: *continues to dodge* Come on. *grabs his arm* Don't tell me that's all you got?

Redtooth was shocked that the demon could keep up with his speed. Suddenly the demon spun around and through Redtooth in the air, causing him to crash into the ground above them. The demon looked up with a smirk on his face, until Redtooth screamed, charging up more energy into his claws. He launched another claw striked at the demon, while he watched unfazed. Soon it hit him causing another dust cloud to form. Redtooth thought he got him, but was shocked to see a black wing blocked his attack.

Luke?: I love having wings, it makes it easier to do this!

The demon stretched his wings, breaking the claw attack, and causing a gust of wing to hit Redtooth, splattering him on the wall. The attack was so powerful it made him go deeper and deeper into the wall unable to be seen. So the attack stopped and the demon started counting on his fingers.

Luke?: Three... Two... One.

Redtooth: *screams* AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Redtooth came charging with red energy covering him and was about to try and bit the demon. Seeing this the demon aligned his fist, took one step backwards and then...

POOOOOOOOWWWW!

The demon punched Redtooth straight in the face, with a satisfied grin on his face. He then sends the demon flying across the room crashing into the wall. Redtooth fell to the ground panting heavily with blood dripping down from his mouth.

Redtooth: *pants* D-Damn... You...

Luke?: You know for a curse I'm very disappointed. I thought you would be stronger than that.

Redtooth: *shocked* ! H-How did you-

Luke?: What? Don't tell me you didn't think I didn't know you were a curse?

Redtooth: But when did you-

Luke?: But come on, you really think I haven't noticed? Sure you yourself are a demon, but that thing around you isn't. I can feel the negative energy coming off of it. So it was pretty obvious.

Redtooth was shocked that he was able to figure him out.

Luke?: If I had to guess you were born and raised as a demon in the boiling isle, probably living a best life giving so much love to everyone right.

Redtooth hung his head down as he started to remember something

Redtooth was seen walking around greeting people with a bright smile on his face. The difference was he had regular white teeth and his smile was mostly genuine. He was seen helping people and offering them great advice.

Luke?: Then one day the isles took something precious from you

Redtooth was holding a figure as he was crying in sadness.

Luke?: You were heart broken and wanted to take what the isles took from you

Redtooth was seen on the ground injured and bleeding out. Before he passed out a figure walking up to him and looked down at him in pity. The figure knelt down before him and said...

?: Do you hate the Isles?

Luke?: So then you gain the powers of this demon and with you, you start taking magic from the isles using those sharp fangs of your's.

The figure and Redtooth were in some kind of temple. Inside of the temple was a giant Red beast. The beast was surrounded in a red pool of energy and started to breath out white steam. Both Redtooth and the beast looked at each other for a while and then...

The scene changed to Redtooth surrounded by demons and witches' corpses. Redtooth licked his teeth and smiled sinisterly.

Luke?: Am I wrong?

There was a moment of silence until Red curse energy started to flood around the room.

Luke?: *smirks* Oooh~ Did I hit a nerve?

Redtooth: *gives him a pissed off look* You...

Redtooth jumped in the air and went for a claw strike to the demon's face.

Redtooth: DON'T KNOW ME!

Before his attack could connect the demon raised his hands and blocked the attack. This caused the ground to break below him and the combination of black and red energy scattered around the room.

Redtooth: What the hell do you know!? You are just some curse demon inside of a little brat! YOU ARE NO BETTER THAN I AM!

Luke?:... You know, this may label me as a hypocrite... Buuut..

The demon pushes Redtooth off him and grabs him by the neck, choking him.

Luke?: *glares daggers at him* You don't know what I am.

The demon throws Redtooth to the side causing the demon to regain his footing and stopping a few feet away from him.

Luke?: But how about I show you *brings his thumb to his mouth* The difference between you and me.

The demon bits his thumb causing some black blood to spill on the ground. Redtooth gets on guard wondering what the brat was about to do. Slowly the demon brought his hands together doing a hand sign.

Luke?: Black blood demon secret art: Black demon.

Slowly the black blood that was on the ground started to lift and take shape. It started to morph into some kind of giant demon creature.

Redtooth: *eyes dilated* W-What the hell!?

The black blood demon thing let out a roar that echoed through the cave.

Luke?: *claps his hands* Now then, go fetch.

The demon dog ran up to the red tooth and opened its mouth showing off its fangs and was about to bite Redtooth.

Redtooth: *quick on his feet* BLOOD DEMON BARRIER!

A giant red demon appeared and used its arms blocking the demon's attack. Redtooth struggled for a bit but was able to keep the black blood dog from getting to him.

Luke?: *claps his hands* Hey not bad you were able to block. Good job. However, you should be careful though. My little dog has a bit of a case of *lifts up his finger* exploding.

Redtooth widened his eyes as he saw the black dog start to expand. Before he could react to it...

BOOOOOOOOOOOM!

A giant explosion covered the whole room. There was dust and derby flying everywhere. Medusa, who was still watching the whole fight, had to use one of her black arrows to shield her from the blast. As everything started to calm down, whistling was heard. It was a the black blood demon walking through the dust cover explosion with no damage to him whatsoever. He continued to walk until he stepped on something or more like someone.

Luke?: Aye not bad you survived.

Survived was a strong word. Redtooth's whole right arm and leg was gone, half his face was blown off, and his left adamant had a hole in it. He was covered in blood and was barely breathing.

Luke?: *sighs* I tried to warn you, don't try to think that you know me. Cause you will regret it.

Redtooth: *breaths weakly*...

Luke?: I could just leave you here to die *slowly grins and raises his hand* But I won't.

As the demon was about to launch his final attack a giant snake appeared in front of Redtooth swallowing him while. The demon watched unfazed as he turned and saw Redtooth's savior.

Luke?: Aah so you finally come out of hiding?

Medusa was standing on some destroyed rubble looking down at the black blood demon.

Medusa: So you're the black blood demon inside the kid?

Luke?: Nope names Luke, lady.

Medusa: *narrows her eyes*...

Luke?: *shrugs his shoulder* You can believe me if you want or not. Doesn't bother me. So *smirks at her* You trying to die?

Medusa:... No.

Luke?: Huh?

Medusa: I only came to see the power of the black blood demon. I have no interest in fighting you. *slowly starts to disappear* Though I do look forward to seeing you again.

Both Medusa and the snake started to disappear leaving the black blood demon by himself.

Luke?: *sighs loudly* Lammmmme. I didn't get to kill anyone. Well sucks to suck. *closes his eyes* Ok Luke it's over you can come back now.

Nothing happened.

Luke?: Oh right you're still asleep aren't you? *stretches* Welp I got some time to kill. Maybe I should... *slaps his head* Right I said I wouldn't kill any of his friends *groans* So lame. Hold on. *thinks for a second* I did say I wouldn't kill, I never said I would beat them to the inch of his life. *hits his fist on his palm* Yea I'll do just that. But who should I start with?

Suddenly an explosion happened and a giant hole was in a wall. Coming out of the hole was Black steel Gajeel.

Gajeel: *coughs and clears the dust* I knew smashing my way was a good idea *notices Luke* Hey there you are!

Gajeel jumps down and slowly starts to approach Luke?

Gajeel: I've been looking everywhere for you! *looks around* Seems you deal with their so-called boss! Must have given him a thrashing! Wish you saved me some. Anyway the others are waiting for us so-

Suddenly Gajeel got a bad chill causing him to jump back a few feet.

Gajeel: Who are you!?

Luke?: *sighs but smirks* If only you would have taken a few more steps...

Slowly shadow dogs started to come out from the demon's shadow.

Luke?: Then you would have been shadow food.

Gajeel glares at Luke?

Luke?: *puts his hand on his chin* You know I promised I wouldn't kill his friends *looks over at Gajeel* But we aren't really friends, are we Black steel?

Gajeel: And just who are you!?

Luke?: Me? *chuckles* Well I'm Luke.

Gajeel: You expect me to believe that garbage!?

Luke?: *sighs* Why don't people believe me when I say that? Course then again you are a little slow.

Gajeel: And what the hell does that mean!?

Luke?: Let me phrase this in a way that you understand.

Suddenly the black blood demon disappeared from Gajeels sight. Before Gajeel could react he was elbowed in the face by him.

Luke?: You're dumb.

Gajeel was sent flying but was able to regain his footing and slid on the ground.

Gajeel: *wipes the blood of his cheek* Alright pal, I don't know who or what the hell you actually are, but it sounds like you want to do some real fighting *cracks his knuckles* Bring it on.

Luke?: *chuckles and summons his demon claws* Fine by me. I would love to see the power of a dragon slayer first hand. Assuming that you're not weaker than Y/N.

That comment made Gajeel grow very irritated. Slowly green magic started to surround him as he launched a sword attack at the demon.

Gajeel: IRON DRAGON: SWORD!

Gajeel launched his dragon sword at the demon but all the demon did was smirk at the attack.

Luke?: *brings his hands at his shoulder* Black blood demon...

Before Gajeel's attack could hit, the demon disappeared in the shadows, shocking the iron dragon slayer. Before he could react the demon appeared, out of Gajeel's shadow and launched a claw attack on Gajeels chest.

Luke?: Cross blood slash.

The demon landed behind Gajeel, while the young dragon slayer fell down on one knee. The demon turned around and saw pieces of iron falling off of Gajeel's chest.

Luke?: Not bad. You were able to activate your scales before my attack landed.

Gajeel: *panting heavily as he looks at the damage* Damn you!

Once the dragon slayer turned around he saw the demon was gone.

Gajeel: *looks around* Where'd he go?

Luke?: *offscreen* When there is light there is also darkness.

Gajeel's eyes widened as he stayed frozen. Behind him his shadow was smirking sinisterly at him.

Luke?: And the stronger the light...

Gajeel: *slowly turns around*...!

Luke?: The stronger the shadow. Shadow needle.

Coming out from Gajeels shadows were multiple needs heading straight for Gajeel. The iron dragon slayer quickly moved back and placed his arms in front of his face to shield him from the attack. Unfortunately that did him no good as some of the needles pierced through him causing him to cough up blood. He slowly scatted across the ground panting heavily.

Luke?: *slowly exits out the shadow and smirks at Gajeel* Awww~ What's the matter? Is that all you got?

Gajeel continued to hold his left side as he glared at the demon.

Luke?: *summons his demon claws* That's the spirit. Now show me what you're made of.

The demon dashes at Gajeel as the iron dragon slayer dashed at him letting out a battle cry.

Cuts to Luz and Black wizard

The two continue their adventures through the cave, though it was quiet. Reason being, is that all the information the Black wizard gave Luz had her deep in thought. The black wizard looked at Luz and saw her struggling.

BW: Are you ok?

Luz: *breaks out of her thought* Huh? Oh yea! I'm fine!

BW: Are you sure?

Luz: Y-Yea. Just processing all the information you gave me.

BW: I see.

The two continue to walk in silence... Until Luz decided to speak up.

Luz: Umm BW?

BW: Yes.

Luz: *fiddles her fingers* I-Is it possible to remove a cure from someone?

BW: It really depends.

Luz: *looks at him* On what?

BW: On how long the curse has been in that person. Usually if a curse was recently placed on a person, it can be removed without any repercussions. However, if a curse has been placed on someone through the moment of birth or childhood, then that curse eventually becomes within a person's soul.

Luz: W-What would happen if you removed it from that person's soul?

BW: *stops walking* It could permanently damage the person for good. Meaning they could die.

This made Luz flinch when he said that. She remembered Eda saying Lilith placed the curse on her when she was a kid, and now if she gets it removed she could die. No! She shouldn't think like that! There has to be a way to remove it without killing the person.

Luz: Can it be possible to remove it without killing the person!?

BW: *surprised by her outburst* It's only a slim chance for them to still be alive, but remember it's to the point that the soul is linked to their soul. Harming once soul can cause some serious consequences.

Luz: I know but *looks down* but...

Luz balled up her fist as she looked down. Hearing all about the risk to remove the curse, all the dangerous, was having her shaking. If this really is a possible way to cure Eda, even if it's slim, this is her chance.

Luz: BW, *looks at the wizard* Can you remove a curse?

BW: *stays quiet*... You wouldn't want my help Luz.

Luz: But why not?

BW: As I said, when I use my magic I end up hurting people. Worst case scenario, I could harm the person you are trying to save

Luz looked at the Black wizard and she could see his face covered in sadness and regret. She thinks he might have done this before and it probably went wrong.

Luz: Hey. I think you could do it.

The BW looks at the human as if she was crazy.

Luz: I might not know your magic and you that well, but I can tell you are a good person. You just have to believe in yourself more.

BW: Easier said than done.

Luz: Well maybe you just need someone to believe you. Because I do.

This made the Black wizard's eyes widen in shock. He heard those words before... Words long ago...

BW: Seriously I don't think that's a good idea... I'm not good with people.

?: Well you just got to believe in yourself.

BW: Easier said than done.

?: *smiles* You just need someone to believe you. Like me. Cause I'll always believe in you.

As the memory ended, the Black wizard started panting heavily. His ears started to wring, his head started to hurt and he started to stumble backwards. He grabbed his head, squeezed it hard trying to get the pain to stop.

Luz: *worried* Hey. BW are you o-

BW: *yells* STAY BACK!

Luz flinched from his sudden outburst.

BW: *pants heavily* S-Stay back! I-I don't want- I don't want to-

Slowly something back started to surround the black wizards scaring Luz.

Luz: *eyes dilating* (I-Is this, his magic?)

Before anything else happened a giant boom echoed through the cave. Luz looked over and saw the spider monkey coming out from the ceiling. The monkey lets out a roar and looks around the room. He sees the two, glares at them, and charges at them.

Luz: Oh no! *looks at the black wizard* We have to-

But it was too late the spider monkey landed on the ground, sending the two in the air. The spider monkey smacks the wizard away, with its arm, sending him flying to a wall. The wizard coughed up blood as he fell down on the ground.

Luz: BW!

The spider monkey spat a web out from its mouth, pinning Luz on a wall. Luz lets out a grunt as she is stuck on the wall. The spider monkey goes up to the black wizard leaving Luz for last. He stopped in front of the wizard and lifted up its spider leg, ready to impel the wizard.

Luz: NO! *tries to free herself* BW! GET OUT OF THERE!

But the wizard continues to lay on the ground seemingly unconscious. The spider monkey launches its leg at the wizard, about to stab him through the head.

Luz: *cries out in desperation* BLACK WIZARD!

BW:...Stop.

The spider monkey's leg was only a few inches away from the wizard's face. The reason why it stopped was because it ended up hitting some kind of barrier. The wizard slowly started to get up as he looked at the spider monkey, though his eyes changed. Not only that, but a black aura started to surround him.

BW: Foolish creature. Do you honestly believe that you can kill me?

The spider monkey lets out a roar and throws his fist at the black wizard. Unfazed by the attack the wizard lifted up his hand and then...

BW: Foolish.

As soon as the spider monkey's hand made contact with the wizard's arm, the beast let out a yell as blood started dripping from the beast's hand. Luz watched in shock and terror of how the beast was injured.

BW: Impressive. Those who touch my body usually die.

Luz: (W-What?)

BW: As a reward I will end this now.

Black wizard simply lifted up his finger and a giant black orb started to form. The wizard pointed the orb at the beast and then fired it. The orb hit the beast sending it flying and crashing into a nearby wall. The beast fell down unconscious with blood leaking from its body.

BW: *slowly starts to walk towards the beast*I must say you are tougher than I thought. I assumed that black orb would have killed you. Guess you really cling to life. But living in this world is a lot more painful than you think.

Luz: (What?)

BW: *lifts up his hand and points it at the beast*But don't worry I will give you the sweet relief, the thing that nobody can escape, eternal rest.

Slowly another black orb started to form as the wizard gave the beast a deadly glare.

Death.

Before the wizard could fire his spell, Luz appeared in front of him with her arms wide.

Luz: Please don't do this!

BW: Out of the way, human.

Luz was shocked by his new personality. He was a quiet person before, but now he is a completely different person. Was this his magic? But Luz stood her ground.

Luz: Please! Don't kill the spider monkey!

BW: This thing is close to death's door as it is, i'm just putting an end to it's life. Not only that, but it also tried to kill you. So why are you protecting it?

Luz: Like you said, it was a peaceful creature before it was cursed! If you can remove the curse then it can go back to a peaceful creature!

The black wizard just narrows his eyes at the human making her shutter from his gaze. She closed her eyes but still stood her ground. She heard the wizard fire his spell. At first she thought she got it, but she didn't feel any pain. She slowly started to open her eyes and saw the wizard holding the orb with something in it. It was a black demon howling. The wizard crushes the orb as it and the black thing disappears. She was confused until she heard the spider monkey slowly getting up. She turned around and looked at the monkey and saw it was just staring at her. The monkey lifts his hand and Luz thought it was going to attack her but all it did was rubbed her head. Luz looked up at the beast and saw it smiled at her.

Luz: *smiles* Don't mention it.

The spider monkey used its spider legs and started leaving out of their view. Luz waved at the beast while the black wizard's magic disappeared and his eyes went back to normal.

BW: *walks away* Let's go.

Luz: O-Oh right.

Luz started following the black wizard with a lot on her mind.

Cuts to Gajeel and Luke?

The black blood demon was holding Gajeel by the neck, choking the life out of him. Gajeel was covered in wounds all over his body and blood dripping down from his mouth.

Luke?: *disappointing look* So this is the power of a dragon slayer? How disappointing. I expected more from the so-called iron dragon slayer, but I guess this is all you can offer me.

Gajeel: *stays silent as he's getting choked*...

Luke?: *sighs* Oh well, in that case.

The black blood demon lifted up his hands and snapped his fingers. The demon's shadow started to grow into a black rivian with nothing but darkness at the bottom.

Luke?: You will sink into the dark abyss. Inside there will be the creatures of darkness that will feast upon your flesh. But don't worry you won't die in vain, your power will live on inside me.

The demon drops Gajeel as he splashes into the abyss. His body slowly started to sink as the demon watched.

Luke?: Ashamed really. I thought you were stronger than Y/N Dragneel, but I guess you are indeed weaker than him. Farwell Black steel.

Gajeel eventually sinks into the darkness as the abyss closes leaving the demon by himself.

Luke?: *claps his hands* Now then. Who should I kill next?

In the abyss

As Gajeel continue to drawn into the abyss he started cursing himself

Gajeel: (Damn it! This can't be the end here! Not here!... Damn it...)

As he slowly started to shut his eyes he heard a voice.

?: You're not giving up are you?

As Gajeel opened his eyes he saw an old familiar person.

Gajeel: (Principle Bump.)

Bump: Come now, it's not like you to give up like this. Not after you finally achieved a new life for yourself. Sure it's still hard and takes time to adjust, but you can't lie that you haven't been this happy in awhile.

Gajeel started to remember his old life, the times he would spend days all alone with no one. Sure he had Levy, but most of the time he was always by himself away from others, envious of others that had a group of friends. But everytime he slowly started to find friends, comrades that he could laugh with and be there for. And a part of him didn't want to lose that.

Bump: But I know the power of friendship doesn't really suit you. So think about it like this: A certain friend and a certain rival will miss you if you leave.

Gajeel's eyes widened when a familiar blue-haired girl appeared in his head.

Gajeel: (Levy..)

Then a certain dragon slayer appeared in his head.

Gajeel: (Salamander...) *slowly starts to smile* (Yea.) *slowly lifts his hand* (I can't die just yet.)

Bump: *smiles* Then go.

Bump started to disappear as Gajeel started to float back to the top.

Gajeel: (Not yet. I can't die yet. Not until I spend the rest of my life with her, and not until I surpass him. *eyes widen in determination* (I won't die here!)

Back with Luke?

Luke?: *continues to think* Hmmm what order should I permanently injure them in. The Blight brother isn't very bright so he won't be a problem so I might start with him first. The girl is annoying, buuut she do's have a nice bod so may I'll save her for last. That know it all person loves to do so much research could be a problem if she starts asking Luke some questions, so I might start with her. Then there's that blue hair girl, what she black steel's girlfriend of something, he does have good ties. Well I did deal with him so maybe I should start with her first. *nods his head and smiles* Good, First I'll start with.

SPLASH!

Luke?: *turns and raises his eyebrow* Huh?

The demon turns around and sees Gajeel panting heavily still heavily injured. He was on one knee as he was barely out the shadow with his hair covering his eyes.

Luke?: *turns around* Got to say I am impressed you were the first person to be able to escape the abyss while still being conscious. Well you were the first person I used this on and you are barely alive so I guess the shadows just ignored you. *shrugs his shoulder* Oh well if you want someone dead right *lifts up his hand* you just gotta do it yourself.

A giant dog-like demon head came out of the black blood demon's hand and headed straight for Gajeel. The demon dog bit the iron dragon slayer shoulder causing blood to drip on the ground. The black blood demon smirked but noticed something odd... Gajeel didn't react to the bite. But what really caught him off guard is when Gajeel grabbed the demon dog.

Luke?: *shocked* !

Gajeel: *hair covering his eyes* If... Salamander... Can do it... Then I... Can too..

Luke?: Uhhh do wh-

BIT!

The black blood demon's eyes widened when he saw Gajeel bit the demon dog. What shocked him more is when the iron dragon slayer started to eat the dog. Not only that but the abyss below him started to disappear inside of the iron dragon slayer's mouth.

Luke?: (He's eating my shadows!?)

Once Gajeel was finished he dropped his arms and his head and looked down at the ground. It was silent for a minute until Gajeel started to speak.

Gajeel: You said I was weaker than salamander right.

Luke?: *narrows his eyes*...

Gajeel: Well... *looks up at him and smirks*I'm going to prove you wrong.

A blast of green magic flooded across the room making the black blood demon cover his eyes.

Luke?: (Where did he get all that strength from!?)

The demon looked at his magic and saw there was something different in it. He saw that it had something black serling around in it.

Luke?: (Is that darkness!?) *looks at Gajeel* (Impossible! He fused my darkness with his own iron magic! Just like what Y/N did against Belos! He's no longer an iron dragon slayer! He's-)

Soon the magic energy started to stop and Gajeel's appearance started to change. The iron scales around his body healed and they were darker than before, his eyes were pure white and his teeth grew sharper.

Luke?: An iron shadow dragon slayer.

Gajeel: *looks at his hand and smirks* Alright pal. *looks at Luke?* Ready for round 2?

Luke?: Hmph. Just because your power and appearance changed, doesn't mean you can beat me.

The black blood demon snapped his fingers causing the shadows behind him to change into beast-like creatures.

Luke?: That little power boast of yours won't give you a chance against the king of shadows.

(Song: Fairy Tail OST (Dragon Raid))

The creatures charged at Gajeel as the dragon slayer smirked at them. A giant explosion happened causing dust to fly in the air as the black blood demon smirked. As the dust settled the demon noticed Gajeel was gone.

Luke?: What where did he-

The demon didn't have to turn around when he felt Gajeel moving behind him. Gajeel had turned himself into a shadow and was slithering like a snake behind him.

Luke?: *back facing him* Really? Hiding yourself in a shadow to launch a surprise attack on me?

The demon lifted up his hand as a shadow blade came out. The blade has piece Gajeel in the chest leaving him in the air.

Luke?: How predictable.

Gajeel let his mouth hang open but then smirked. The dragon slayer disappeared into shadows shocking the demon.

Luke?: *shocked and turns around* A shadow clone!

The demon ended up letting down his guard, because Gajeel was behind him with an iron club at the ready. He launched the attack and hit the demon in the back of the head. The demon let out a groan of pain as he stumbled forward. He turns around and sees Gajeel smirking at him.

Gajeel: What's wrong, Mr. King of shadows?

Luke?: *raises his fist* You little...

The demon charged at Gajeel with his fist back reading to strike Gajeel, but the iron shadow dragon slayer smirked and disappeared, avoiding his attack. The demon was able to flip and slide on the ground. He tried looking for Gajeel but couldn't locate the real him.

Luke?: (Tch. His magic energy is all over the place. Meaning he created a bunch of clones. In that case.)

The demon bit his finger and threw a ball of black blood in the center of the cave.

Luke?: Bloody needle!

The blood ball extended into multiple directions, piercing everywhere except where the demon was standing.

Luke?: (This will be able to find him. I felt all those needles landing on each of his close chest. One of them must have hit him.)

As the demon looked he saw every place the needle hit, a clone of Gajeel would vanish.

Luke?: *shocked* (What!?) *looks around* (Then where is h-)

Suddenly Gajeel exits out of the demon's shadow smiling sinisterly.

Gajeel: The shadow you least expect

Luke?: *turns around shocked*...!

Gajeel: Is your own!

Gajeel grabs the demon's face and slams him down on the ground. He then kicks the demon in the air and punches him across to a nearby wall. The demon lets out a groan, in pain from the attack, as his bloody needle disappears.

Gajeel: Iron shadow dragon sword!

Gajeel's hand transforms into the dragon sword. The sword had a combination of green and black magic coming off it.

Gajeel: IRON SHADOW DRAGON: SHADOW SLASH!

Gajeel launched a green black energy slash at the demon. Quick on his feet, the demon brought his hands together.

Luke?: Black blood barrier!

A giant black blood sphere surrounds the demon taking on the attack. However the Gajeel attack cut through the demon barrier making the demon use his arms to shield himself from the attack. The damage Gajeel's attack left a giant slash mark on the wall and blood to drip from the demon's arms. The demon pants a little glaring daggers at the smirking iron dragon slayer.

Luke?: Damn you! *raises his arms* Let's see if you like this!

The demon launched a dark shadow ball at Gajeel. The iron dragon slayer just smirked and ate the ball.

Luke?: (Damn it, I'm a fool! Dragon slayers get powerful once they eat their element!)

Gajeel dashes at the demon causing his eyes to widen. He quickly avoids a punch from Gajeel and escapes into his shadows as he tries to calm himself down.

Luke?: (Calm down! Don't do anything that will cause you to lose! Since you can't use dark magic you just have to attack using your blood. Find an opening to his attacks and then counter it.)

?: You done running and thinking of a strategy yet?

This made the demon's eyes widen as he turned into the shadow place and saw Gajeel looking at him.

Luke?: (B-But how did he-)

Gajeel: *grabs the demon by the collar* Because now it's my turn.

Gajeel punches the demon out of the shadow making him cough up blood and groan in pain.

Luke?: (He hit me out of my shadow!?)

Gajeel grabs the demon by the collar again, pulls him forward, smirks, raises his fist and then...

POW!

Sends the demon tumbling on the ground, while also destroying the walls behind him. The demon falls back into his shadow moving slowly in it.

Gajeel: *falls and shatters the ground below him* Where do you think you're going!?

Gajeel enters into the shadows charging at the demon at incredible speed. Once he reaches him he grabs the demon by the head, pulls him out of the shadow, and holds him in the air.

Luke?: *shocked* (S-So this is the power of a dragon slayer.)

Gajeel: *throws the demon* SAY GOODNIGHT!

The demon lands on the ceiling of the cave and caves up blood as he slowly starts to fall. But before he can Gajeel charges up his best attack.

Gajeel: *inhales* IRON SHADOW DRAGON: ROOOAR!

Gajeel lifts his head and lets out a devastating breath attack. Engulfing the demon inside and destroying the ceiling behind him.

The demon lets out a yell and soon...

BOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!

A giant explosion echoed through the cave making the group feel the vibration of it.

Song end

The scene cuts to the cave with dust covering the cave and small rocks falling down on the ground. Panting was heard and it showed Gajeel panting heavily as he was down on one knee.

Gajeel: *chuckles weakly* I guess... That form is still... Too much for me... *slowly starts to get up but grabs his arm* Damn... My bones feel like they're broken. And the inside of my body feels like shit. *looks at his hand and smirks* But still *squeezes his fist* I finally did it. Watch out Salamander, cause I'm catching up to you.

?: *offscreen* Are you going to keep talking out loud?

Gajeel turned around and saw the black blood demon laying down on the ground staring at him. The demon was covered in wounds but Gajeel noticed that black mist was coming out showing that he was healing.

Luke?: At least I was thinking in my head, meanwhile you keep talking out loud.

Gajeel starts to walk up to the demon. He stops in front of the demon and stares at him.

Luke?: What? You like what you see or something? Take a picture, it will last longer.

Gajeel: So you survived huh?

Luke?: Considering I'm speaking to you right now, yes I did. After all, you did hold back a little on that attack. Emphasis on a little.

Gajeel: Didn't you also shield yourself with a barrier?

Luke?: I see you noticed that huh?

Gajeel: Yea...

There was a moment of silence until Gajeel spoke.

Gajeel: Let me ask you something.

Luke?: If you are going to ask; why am I not attacking, I used a lot of my energy fighting you so I only have enough strength to heal my wounds.

Gajeel: Not that. Earlier when I asked who are you, you said you were Martins and you were tired of people not believing you when you said that. So let me ask this:... What are you?

Luke?: *eyes slightly widen but closes them and smiles* Guess there is a brain in that iron head of yours.

Gajeel: *grows a tick mark* Watch it buddy.

Luke?:... In every light there is darkness.

Gajeel: Huh?

Luke?: Everything has an opposite of each other: Light to dark, positive to negative, ect.

Gajeel:... Uhh...

Luke?: *sighs* I guess you barely have a brain.

Gajeel: Hey!

Luke?: To give you the clear answer... I am pain, sadness, grief, all negative emotion from a sad little boy *slowly starts to fade* who lost the person he loved.

The darkness around Luke disappeared revealing Luke back in his outfit with his eyes closed. Luke let out a cough as he slowly started to open his eyes to the sunlight. He covers it with his hand but immediately regrets it as he felt the pain in his body.

Luke: Oww.. I'm hurting all over. What the hell happened? *looks at Gajeel* Oh hey Black steel. What happened to you?

Gajeel: (Does he not remember? That guy.) *shakes his head and kneels down* We just got into a little argument on what type of girl we prefere.

Luke: *sweat drops* Do you really expect me to believe that?

Gajeel just chuckled while Luke just stared at him with a smirk. He fell to the ground as they both were relieved that it was over.

Back with the Luz and the black wizard

The two were making their way close to the exit, and just like the other times it was silent. But this silence compared to all the others was the most silent. After seeing his magic first hand Luz knew the danger of the wizard. However, he still saved her life and spared the beast. So maybe he isn't that bad.

BW: I assume you are afraid of me?

Luz: H-Huh? *looks at him* Oh no! O-Of course not!

BW: You're shaking.

Luz didn't realize but she was shaking. She tried to play it off with a nervous chuckle, but the wizard can see past it.

BW: It's fine. It's not something I'm not used to.

Luz: *runs in front of him* No really! You saved my life and listened to me when you saved that creature! So you're not that bad!

BW: Are you sure you're not just saying that?

Luz: No, I'm being serious! BW I might not know much about you, but I can tell you probably lived a rough life. So if you need someone to talk to I'll be there.

The black wizard looked Luz in the eyes and could tell she was sincere with her words. He could tell he really wanted to get to know him and understand him. He was about to say something but a voice cut him off.

Eda: *offscreen* Luz!

The two turned over and saw Eda, with King on her shoulder, looking around and calling for the human girl.

Luz: *turns around* EDA!

Eda: *turns over overjoyed to see her* Luz!

The two ran to each other and hugged each other tightly. They were glad that their were alive.

Eda: I'm glad you're ok kiddo!

Luz: Same here!

As the two broke the hug, King jumped on Luz's shoulder.

King: Let's get out of here, Before the spider monkey comes back!

Luz: Oh we don't have to worry about him. Someone took care of it.

Eda/King: Huh?/Weh?

Luz: Oh right! *looks over* BW! Come an me-

When Luz looked over the black wizard was gone. She was shocked and confused to see he had disappeared.

Luz: BW?

Eda: Uhh BW? Who's that?

Luz: He helped me deal with the spider monkey? BW!? Where are you!?

Eda: Ooooook Luz, *grabs her by the shoulder and pushes her* Let's just get back home.

Luz: B-But he was there!

As Eda continued to push Eda out of the cave, the black wizard watched from the ceiling as they left. Meeting Luz made him feel an emotion he hasn't felt for awhile. He couldn't help but smile from remembering those good times. He started to walk away leaving deeper into the cave disappearing from sight.

With Y/N and Amity

The sun was setting down and the classroom was neither close to being clean. There were just a few more spots that needed to get done. Meanwhile both Y/N and Amity haven't said a word to each other. Mostly because Y/N was still thinking Amity was made and the young Blight was still having a panic attack.

Zack: *sighs deeply* Look Y/N you're not going to find out if she hates you if you continue to keep quiet about it.

Y/N: *whispers* Well what am I supposed to say?

Zack: *rubs his eyes and groans* If you really feel guilty then just apologize to her.

Y/N thought for a second and decided it was the best course of action.

Y/N: A-Amity?

Amity" *jolts* Y-Yea!?

Y/N: I-I'm sorry.

Amity: H-Huh?

Y/N: For not getting the spell right. I get the formula but I just have trouble controlling it. I just don't want to feel like I'm just wasting your time.

The way Y/N said it was genuine and sincere. Amity was caught off guard but still smiled.

Amity: Hey, it's ok Y/N.

Y/N: *looks at her* Huh?

Amity: I can tell you're really doing your best. *looks at him with a smile* Just knowing that makes me happy.

Y/N: *lightly blushes* S-So you're not mad?

Amity: *confused* Why would I be mad?

Y/N: W-Well *scratches his cheeks* Y-You didn't say anything for awhile, so I figured you were mad at me.

Amity: *waves her hand* O-Oh no! I-I was just thinking about something! *chuckles nervously and backs up* N-No need to worry about it!

While Amity was walking back she ended up tripping on some abomination goo.

Y/N: *rushes towards her* Amity!

A loud thud echoed in the classroom. The two groan in pain and slowly open their eyes. As they did they both blushed in the position they were in: Y/N was on top of Amity with both his hands on both sides of her and their faces were close to each other. They both looked at each other with giant blushes on their faces (Amity's was deeper than Y/N's). They were like that for awhile, wonder what they should, or what the other was about to do next. Before anything else happened an abomination goo hit Y/N on his head, causing Amity to giggle. Y/N just groaned but started to chuckle as he slowly got off her.

Amity: Here let me.

Amity traced a purple circle as the abomination was removed from Y/N's head and his hair.

Y/N: *chuckles* Thanks, Amity.

Amity: *rubs his head and giggles* No problem.

Once Amity stopped rubbing his hair, she couldn't help but admire how Y/N looked. For some reason just looking at him made her heart skip a beat, and the same could be said for Y/N. The two stared at each other as they slowly started to blush. Though Amity quickly got up.

Amity: W-W-W-Well I should let the teacher know that we are done cleaning! *chuckles nervously* S-S-See ya later!

Amity quickly left the classroom leaving Y/N by himself.

Y/N: *waves* See ya... *lays on the ground and thinks* (If the goo didn't hit me, what would have happened?)

Zack: What indeed?

Y/N: *deadpan* Really Zack?

Zack just chuckled. Unknown to Y/N, Amity was asking the same question.

Amity: *giant blush on her face while holding her chest* (If the abomination goo didn't drop, would we k-k-k-k-kiss!?)

Amity exploded in a blushing mess as she covered her face and quickly walked away from the door. The moment she shared with Y/N was in her words magic, embarrassing, but magical nonetheless

Timeskip

After the events in the cave, the group reunited with Bobo and the demon was shocked to see the group was alive. They told Bobo about the events that happened, minus Luke transformation, and told him that the demon won't be a problem for a while. The older demon cried tears of joy knowing that his people can now rest in peace. Bobo offered the group the money, but Lilith didn't want to accept it since they didn't kill the main demon. Bobo however still wanted to thank them for their hard work so they ended up accepting it. The group started to make their journey back home. Luz and the others returned back home and Luz wouldn't stop talking about the wizard she saw. The others continue to think she was crazy but one person found what she said was interesting.

Meanwhile at the top of the mountain, the black wizard was staring at the sunset when a snake slithered towards him.

BW: Came for a visit?

The wizard toward and saw the snake disappearing, reliving the blond woman.

BW: Medusa.

Medusa: *bows her head* Yes, master Zeref.

Zeref: To what do I owe the pleasure?

Medusa: I came to apologize to one of my test subjects for attacking you.

Zeref: Ah, the spider monkey. It was one of your old experiments wasn't it?

Medusa: Yes sire. It was during the time I was experimenting with curses. Before I tested it on people, I needed to test it on animals to see the result.

Zeref: Testing it on one of the isles peaceful creatures.

Medusa: A creature with fangs, sharp legs, and physical body strength only using it to attack those that wander into its territory. Such things were a waste so I wanted to see it in action with a curse inside of it. I ended up marking it as a failure since all it did was scream and attack anything in sight. I was surprised to see it was still alive.

Zeref: Yes, I did end up removing that curse from it though.

Medusa: But that curse has been in it for many years. Removing the curse would be the equivalent of removing its soul. I'm shocked it didn't die.

The black wizard raised his finger and a loud howl echoed into the sunset.

Zeref: It is said that before a spider monkey dies, it will howl into the setting sun before it draws its final breath. The creature might have lost his soul but it's will power was strong enough to still keep that promise.

Medusa: How foolish. To waste the last bit of your energy on just howling.

Zeref: It is the way of the wild.

Medusa: *looks at Zeref* Furthermore your majesty, I came here to also tell you about the black blood demon.

Zeref: And?

Medusa: I can now see why you are so interested in him. He was able to brutally wound Redtooth. It would be sometime before he awakens again.

Zeref: I see. And you Medusa?

Medusa: If I can, *smiles* Then I would love to experiment on him as much as I can.

Zeref: *smiles* Well, experiment on him as much as you want.

Medusa: *noticed something odd about him* Master Zeref, did something happen today? You seem a lot more cheerful.

Zeref: Oh it's just, I was able to meet the human girl. Though it was for a moment I slowly started to remember something from long ago. Just a few pieces though, if I remember the whole thing I would have certainly killed her.

Medusa: Isn't that the plan?

Zeref: *stands up* Yes. But it's not the time just yet. Not until "he" fully matures.*sighs and thinks about Luz* Though our time was short it was good to see another human again. And she looked so much like her.

A scene was shown with a hoodie figure shielding himself from the rain. He was drenched in water as he looked down the whole time. Suddenly he felt the rain stop dropping on him, making him look up. In front of him was a female that looked a little like Luz.

Zeref: *opens his eyes* (It makes sense. After all she is her daughter.)

A/N:

BOOOOOOOM! The new chapter! This took so much time to finished but I finally got it done!

This chaptermainly focuses on the Black wizard, Gajeel, and Luke's inner demon.

First we got a little bit of lure on Gajeel. As you can see Gajeel wasn't that bad of a person, he would mostly beat up people who hurt others or claimed they were the strongest. But that all changed when people continued to calm him a freak and/or a monster. But after meeting Y/N, and being surrounded by friends he slowly started to change and gaining the happy life he always wanted. Also the boy uptain his iron shadow dragon slayer form, FREE CHEERS FOR BLACK STEEL GAJEEL!

Next is the Black wizard. His story was teaching Luz the different types of curses that exist in the isles. The one that are casted unto others and one created by the negative energy from the witches misuse of magic. Meeting Luz also remembered the time he was in the human world where he meet a similar human to Luz. How he got there? That question will be explain later in the story. Side note: Him and Luz were always a few feet away from each other due to his certain condition of being close to others.

And finally Luke's inner demon. As he said he is the dark side of Luke so whenever he says he's Luke he's not lying but people refuses to believe him, including Luke. As you can tell his personality is the polar opposite of Luke, instead of being serious and edge, he's playful and happy with a hint of murder in it. He explains to Gajeel that he was born from Sally's death to help Luke cope.

The group fight: I was having trouble trying to figure out who should group with who, so I decided to let the twins and Lilith team up and Gajeel and Levy team up. Gave Emira her own seen to show why she's the older sister in the group.

A new villian was added: Medusa. She says she is no longer a witch anymore and dedicated her life into studying about curses. She watched the battle from the side lines and wanted to learn more about the black blood inside Luke.

Also had Y/N sit this one out, wanted to give other characters a chance to show off how strong they are. Also I noticed there has been a lot of cave focus chapters, mostly cause when I think of demons I think of a dark and quiet place. So the next chapter is going to be a change ofscenery.

Last thing I wanted to say: I'm sorry this took so long to come out. I ended up hitting a writer block for 2 months and wasstumped. But don't worry I'll try to get more chapters out this month to make up for my lack of updates. Also if you noticed I've been taking more on conversations to let you guys know that I'm alive.
