Earth Year: 2023 AD.

"What's wrong?" Isabella Flynn Fletcher asked Candace.

"Cavendish and Dakota stranded themselves downstairs after following Milo Murphy here from the past." Candace Flynn Fletcher responded back.

"So this is the Cavendish and Dakota Team that Bill Cipher killed already?" Isabella asked worriedly.

"Yup, their Time Vehicle is trashed too!" Candace announced pointedly.

"Do we really need to send them back to their deaths?" Fireside Girl Tabitha Underwood asked everyone pointedly.

"Unfortunately, we do need them returned to the past, however, maybe we can use it to our own advantage if we send someone back with them." Isabella Flynn Fletcher explained.

"Go explain the plan to Phineas and Ferb." Candace told Isabella.

Phineas and Ferb were exchanging worried glances towards Cavendish and Dakota.

"It must be Cavendish and Dakota from before Bill Cipher murdered them." Ferb whispered nervously.

"At least Candace stopped yelling at them for their Car Crash earlier." Phineas whispered back.

"Reckless Driving aside, they have no clue what happened around here." Ferb whispered back.

"An Alternate Timeline perhaps." Phineas whispered back thoughtfully.

"What are you two whispering about over there?" Cavendish demanded.

"We were just speculating where inside the past you two came from." Phineas tells him.

"The Year 2000 AD. we obviously jumped 20 years into our own future here. Pretty Much stranded ourselves here until the Time Baby arrives with another Time Vehicle to replace this one." Dakota answers Phineas.

"I see the problem, are you sure you can't fix it?" Phineas ponders thoughtfully.

"The Car Engine needs replacing, everything else is getting too old to keep working without a Mechanical Checkup." Dakota stated knowingly.

"Ferb, I know what we are doing tonight." Phineas says while gesturing at the Ruined Time Vehicle excitedly.

"I honestly think it can't be fixed." Dakota stated pointedly.

"Enough Dakota, this maybe our only chance to get the Time Vehicle rebuilt for free." Cavendish reminded him.

Phineas and Ferb were already Reverse Engineering the Time Vehicle for Cavendish and Dakota.

"Phineas, Candace wants you to install a Portable Homing Device to help Cavendish and Dakota contact us if they break down again." Isabella improvised a plan to stall for more time.

"Not a bad idea, we gave Milo Murphy our only Homing Device in case something went wrong and obviously something went wrong. Unexpected Time Paradox, go figure." Dakota says absentmindedly.

"The Time Baby should have noticed that something is going on by now, Dakota, where is the Handheld Temporal Scanner?" Cavendish ponders.

"Check the back of the Time Vehicle." Dakota says back.

"This is a bag of Trail Mix." Cavendish told everyone.

"Behind the Grocery Bags." Dakota instructed.

"Found it!" Cavendish announced cheerfully.

Isabella came back with Candace to get Cavendish and Dakota somewhere to sleep for the night.

"Phineas, we need someone to make sure that Cavendish and Dakota get back to their own time safely." Isabella explained.

"Sounds rational so far, who's going?" Phineas asked back.

"I thought we would ask for Volunteers to go into the past and then return with the Good News, perhaps, Baljeet." Isabella speculated.

"Baljeet would understand the dangers of Time Travel." Phineas agreed thoughtfully.

"I'll go ask Baljeet if he wants to go into the past with me or not." Isabella told Phineas.

"Wait, Isabella, you're going?" Phineas asked worriedly.

"Phineas, are you volunteering to go into the past with me?" Isabella asked hopefully.

"Ferb can handle things here." Phineas stated back.

"You do realize that your Time Portal might be our only way home if anything goes wrong?" Isabella asked Phineas pointedly.

"Good point, Ferb, what do you think?" Phineas responded instantly.
