Walking down from the platform with my new vest I stand next to a quivering Naruto with his trademark full-toothed smile and his hair a blaze of blonde sunshine in a sea of blackheads. I haven't seen him in a couple of days and wonder what he has been doing.
After training the other day Master Tsunade had explained the nature of my 'gift' and how best to use it in battle but she also told me why my reaction to Naruto was so strong. My Inner voice was addicted to the Kyubbi's chakra and although I don't like to admit it, I am a little addicted to Naruto's attention. Combining these two together can lead me to do some petty crazy stuff if I let it get out of hand.
I plan to have a little talk with Naruto after this so we can come to some kind of understanding, I hope we can work as a team now that Sai has been added to our squad. With Naruto spending time away, it has given me a chance to be a little more clear-eyed on our wild relationship, I like him, I like him a lot but I also know he will need more than I can give him. With that thought I notice Tenten is standing real close to MY teammate, 'going to have to have a little talk with that bitch later,', said Inner getting a grunt of agreement from me.
