This is an AU kind of fanfic series of the SCP Foundation. All characters within are owned by their original creators and are not my property.

The only characters that I own will be introduced with Bold names when they are introduced aside from the main character, Marcus Osmond. With this out of the way, let's begin:

It was something that even I had trouble explaining, even when I was found and captured alongside another creature... all that I knew was that, as of now, I was sitting in a cramped room akin to solitary confinement, only I was able to see everything outside of the room on all sides, as I was in a glass container with air being pumped into it so that I could breathe and there being small slits in the sides for an interview with a certain person. A man that had a very unique and powerful artifact dangling around his neck via a necklace. I was being interviewed and I had to be very careful how I worded everything out.

"Commencing interview with Marcus Osmond, POI of successful recontainment of 682, 049, 053, and 079... this interview is to determine whether or not POI is to be classified as an SCP," said a very distorted voice over the PA systems as a recording machine was activated by the man with the necklace and he spoke to me.

"Hello there, mister Osmond," he said to me, which I sighed at.

"Hello to you as well, Doctor Bright. Or, as I should say, SCP 963-1," I smirked at him slyly, which he looked surprised at me speaking that, but quickly recomposed himself.

"I uh... I didn't know you knew of my name... how do you know that?" he asked me, me knowing that I had to be truthful, since Bright had been around for long enough to know when people spoke lies or truth. Everyone had some kind of unique tell when they fibbed.

"I know it because... well, you may not believe me, but I happen to come from some other reality... one that knows almost everything about every SCP in existence, despite not a single one existing in my reality... think of it like we see this reality as a work of fiction, written by nobodies in my world that want to write a simple scary story," I explained, which Bright hummed at as he then wrote that down.

"So you come from some other reality that knows everything about this one, then? Is that how you were able to effortlessly recontain SCP 682, 053, 049, and 079 during the massive containment breach?" he asked, me nodding.

"Indeed, it is... in fact, this specific breach was actually contained in an entire horror survival game called SCP: Containment Breach. And one more thing, in said game, anyone in my world is also able to view 096's face without fear of ever being hunted down by him, as he doesn't exist in my world," I explained.

"Intriguing... we noticed via the video feed that you were having a conversation with 682 after he successfully breached outside of the facility, yet you did not die from his radiation, his attacks, nor any attempt at your life at all... care to explain that?" Doctor Bright asked, me frowning... that was an honestly good question, so I had to explain my truth.

"That is something I cannot answer because I have no flipping clue... it's almost as if I were immune to everything that 682 could throw at me... and eventually, when the big lug realized I couldn't be killed, he started to calm down and we started discussing things... and uh... apologies in advance, I may or may not have disclosed confidential information about numerous Facility secrets to him, namely about how 053 views him from the photo of her from 978 and how 079 was the whole reason the breach began in the first place," I sighed, which Doctor Bright frowned at.

"And his response to both?"

"I actually plan on writing down our entire conversation in the coming future... I mean, how can I forget a conversation between myself and a gigantic radioactive lizard?"

"That would be greatly appreciated... though do you swear to speak the truth? Because you have been truthful so far, but we can't take any chances... and may ask if you should be considered an SCP?" I sighed at this, for obvious reasons. I had been teleported from my world to this one out of nowhere and, when exposed to the effects of all of the former SCPs as well as having accidentally come into contact with 009, 008 and had no ill effects from ingesting 1079 or 207, I had a feeling I may be classified as one, even without proper consent. Mainly because I had not gotten any of the negative or infectious effects from being exposed to any of them. Only the positive effects, like being extremely resilient after touching 682 accidentally, developing immediate antibodies of 008, and getting super quick from ingesting an entire bottle of 207 so I could assist in rewiring the entirety of 079 in record time so it could successfully be recontained and no longer given rule of the facility.

"I do swear to speak the truth... but for certain things I know of SCP 682, some may not be able to be taken as fact, as some information I know of may be falsified instances from Chaos Insurgency accounts... any that I am unsure of what is true or not, I will most likely request a different colored ink to discern the differences," I explained.

"Now, for the next question... you somehow knew that 079 was the reason for the breach to begin with... is there more to that story? As well as us capturing D-9431 afterwards and finding some notes from Doctor L, Doctor Maynard, and various others. Do you know anything we don't?"

"I do. Doctor Maynard and Agent Skinner? They were Chaos Insurgency spies that infiltrated this place in order to assist 079 in breaching the entire place. Doctor Maynard ended up getting captured and killed by 106 and, from what I understand, Agent Skinner got possessed by 035 temporarily during the breach before dying after. They orchestrated the entire breach to screw your entire plan up. And this entire facility was basically built to make it a reality."

"So you're accusing Doctor Maynard and Agent Skinner of being the entire reason?" he asked.

"The proof is in the pudding. You just need to know where to look... and from what the notes I read of from Doctor L, it appears he was converted to be the current 106 after the poor soul got tortured by the guy to the point he was no longer himself. And D-9431? You say he had quite a lot of ingenuity of recontainment of other SCPs on his lonesome, right? It's due to his discovery he had when he used to be a scientist among you. He's basically able to save and load his adventures whenever he feels like it, as he was the main character of a game that had the ability to save and load," I explained. After explaining this, Doctor Bright cleared his throat as I noted that he actually began to sweat a bit.

"Oh... sorry, I didn't mean to make you nervous, Doctor Bright... I know also that you have insecurities about things... didn't mean to bring them up again," I apologized upon noticing, which made the unwilling SCP sigh and nod.

"It's... appreciated... it is difficult, indeed... so, are you okay with accepting the title of SCP? And if so, what should your classification be and your permissions? They may or may not be allowed, so long as you may be willing to perform certain tests with other SCPs," he explained. It was.. a very hard question... but I knew I'd never see my own world again, especially since most SCPs that could send you to other realities did so at completely random... so long as I were honest in my descriptions and requested not to engage with any SCPs that sent you to other realities and timelines? I then explained.

"If I'm going to be an SCP, I will be completely cooperative with any and all experiments, but with specific restrictions that I wish. First, I wish to be labeled as a Safe/Thaumiel class, second, I-" I was about to continue before Doctor Bright shushed me.

"How do you know of that class?! No one but the highest members are to know if it," Bright shushed me, which I sighed at.

"Sorry... it's uh... I know of it because of what I already mentioned. Y'know, my extensive knowledge of all things SCP?"

"Right... ahem... we can edit that word out regardless... next?"

"Second, I'd like it if I could assign my own SCP number as SCP-789XP. Thirdly, I want to be forbidden from ever being used for any tests involving any SCPs that could send me to other times or realities, such as 052, 1437, and anything that may end up sending me to space. I may be immune to other SCPs as seen so far, but I still need to freaking breathe," I said with a small chuckle.

"Indeed... any other possible requests?"

"I'd like it if I could be able to interact with any SCPs that may be in a sad or upset state... you know, like 053 being super lonely, 191 needing a hug and someone who could teach her sign language for communication, and maybe being allowed to interact with SCPs 187 and 978... the former to see if I may end up being dead at some point and the latter because I want you to know what my world was like... believe me, the thing I'd want most of all is to go back home and live the life I love. Playing games at my computer and designing websites for others for payment. Am I allowed those things?" I asked, which Doctor Bright cleared his throat.

"I'll bring all of these up with my superiors and let them know of your requests. Afterwards, I'll let you know of which requests were accepted, and which may have been denied. But I agree, 053 does need a friend that isn't a homicidal lizard, 191 should probably learn sign language since she can't speak, and it would be interesting if you could be affected by 187's future vision and what 978 may see from your picture... and believe me, if you truly wish to help with the experimentation of other SCPs, it'd be horrid if you were warped to some other reality... I'll let you know more in a bit," Doctor Bright smiled.

"Thank you, doctor... before you leave, may I possibly request having some food and drink? I'm kind of peckish ever since all that work with getting those guys contained... and maybe I could also ask to be given a chat with D-9431... maybe see if he and I could act as a team?" I smiled.

"Possibly, but only if he is actually classified as an SCP," Bright frowned. "Is the interview concluded, then?"

"Only if you say so. I mean, you are the scientist, I'm the POI, so you have superiority."

"Indeed... interview concluded," he said before then ending the transmission as I then simply sat down in the chair that was in my containment area... I had to hope the process would be quick... but before I could think further, I was then handed a notebook and two pens very quickly by Doctor Bright.

"Here, so you can give us as much information as you can about what you experienced when you came to this universe, your communications with 682, and how you were able to effortlessly calm down 049, 053, and your experiences with the other SCPs you encountered," Bright explained, me nodding.

"Got it... and as I said, I will explain what I know of any SCP that I encounter in the future, but only as I encounter them one at a time. Mark my words, I'll probably have filled out nearly 30 notebooks front to back by the time I'm finished," I smirked as I then proceeded to write down my story. What was it? Next chapter incoming soon.
