The next day Tayuya joined Naruto in the search for the hidden base, she felt it was time to test Naruto's knowledge of the seals his clones had been studying with her. She still was not a true believer in the use of clones for learning something as complex as seal making so now was the time for Naruto to prove she didn't just waste her time.
Near midday, after Naruto was able to explain in his own words storage seal theory and where the objects went Tayuya was beginning to come around to clones being more than just a smokey distraction that runs interference during a fight.
"Dammit Sensei, why can't we find this base, he said it was right here!.", yelled out Naruto who was a couple hundred feet above Jiraiya who was searching behind the larger boulders at the base of the mountain. "This isn't some cartoon Naruto where the hidden base has a sign pointing to the door. It's called hidden for a reason, we have to find it or if you keep yelling like that they will come and find us later tonight while you're sleeping with Red over there.", said Jiraiya.
The idea of anyone hurting Tayuya enraged the blonde and being an Uzumaki that means action. Without thinking Naruto pulls his hand back and slams his palm into the stone face, the last thing he was thinking about was storage seals, pouring his chakra into his hand a storage seal appeared on the stone spreading out to form a ten-foot circle, with a flash of light and a little smoke for show a tunnel was created before the blonde hero.
Climbing over Tayuya looked into the hole and could feel a slight gust of wind in her face, a horrid smell hit her in the face causing her to back off. Forming a hand sign she sends a small fireball down the mostly flat tunnel showing it was at least fifty feet into the mountain.
Jiraiya joined them and looked into the hole, looking at Naruto he shook his head and said, "That smells like a hidden base to me.", he joked but looked to Naruto and added, "Where did you send the stone kid? I don't know of any seal that could hold that much stone without failing."
Looking at his hand and then showing Jiraiya his palm, he had a pulsing seal on his palm that seems to be flaring to his heartbeat. Holding his arm by the wrest Jiraiya held it out as far away from the cliff as he could, "I would summon out that stone now while you still have some control over where and when.", said Jiraiya in his most serious Sensei voice.
Focusing on the seal Naruto summoned out its contents and a cylinder of stone with some body parts at the end appeared in the air, it seemed to hover for a second before falling to the valley floor with a great crash leaving a little bloody smear on one end.
"Hope that wasn't our girl we are looking for.", said Tayuya, Naruto's eyes got wide thinking about it but what pieces they could see were large and hairy like form, like a bear mixed with a man.
"Come on I was joking,", said Tayuya ruffling Naruto's hair as she looked into the hole, strange sounds had joined the smell and they seemed to be getting closer.
Naruto was still looking at his hand as the seal was still there and a small line of smoke was still rising off of his hand. "Don't worry about it, I will take a look at what you created when we get back to camp.", said Jiraiya.
The sounds of growls and grunts had almost reached them and Tayuya was getting a little worried that Jiraiya wasn't really paying attention to whatever was coming out of the tunnel. Right as she was about to yell at the Sannin he turned to face the blackness and made a simple hand sign. His hair grew into long shape spears and flew down into the hole, returning with two large beast-men spears through their chest, he flung them out into the valley to splat onto the stones below unmoving.
"OK, now that we have a clear path who wants to go first.", said Jiraiya.
Moving to the tunnel Naruto stood up inside and started walking down into the darkness, within twenty feet he could see a low light, almost a glow coming from ahead. Reaching the end he found that his little tunneling jutsu had gone through not one but five cambers containing a beast-man in each, the two that had crawled out had been in the first two as he found the other three had half bodies in the others.
Jumping down a foot or so he stood in the last cell, Tayuya dropped down beside him and looked at the last beast-man in the cell, he was only missing an arm but was laying against the wall bleeding. His arm was slowly growing back as he lay there.
Tayuya always the pragmatist walked over to the fallen beast and shoved a kunai into its brain until she was sure it stopped breathing. Seeing the look on Naruto's face she said, "What? You want this thing coming up behind you when you least expect it?", said Tayuya
Moving them alone Jiraiya walked to the cell door and said, "Your luck is still good kid, two feet to the left and you would have missed them all and freed the lot of them to run up that tunnel. Now, let's open this door and see what we can find."
With a smaller-sized Rasengan, Jiraiya was able to take the door down without making too much noise, the screaming and growling of the other creatures on the long hall covered any noise they could have made anyway.
Stopping Naruto from making any clones Jiraiya said, "We stay together and move slow, we don't want to alert them with a clone and give them a chance to form a fighting squad."
The halls were long, smelly as Tayuya put it, and seemingly endless as they found they were on the highest floor they worked their way down, layer by layer until they ran into a couple of shinobi that looked bored out of their minds playing cards at a table in the cross-section of five hallways.
"There are only two of them, what are we waiting for,", said Tayuya, she wanted to get this over with and find their clanswoman as soon as possible. "We see two but this base is way too large for just them, there has to be a much larger force here.", replied Jiraiya.
While there were talking Naruto just walked up to the card players and sat down as if to play. "So you guys play here often or you just passing thought.", said Naruto picking up some cards as if to play.
The two guards froze seeing him and one said, "Who the hell are you?", pointing at Naruto with the cards in his hand.
Dropping the cards, Naruto held out his hand, "Hi, my name is Naruto Uzumaki, I am here looking for my clanswoman, you wouldn't happen to know where she is would you?", ending off with a great big smile he shook hands with one and then the other guard.
"Uh, mmm, ya, she is down at the lab, she didn't tell us she was expecting any visitors.", said the guard still holding onto his cards. "Wow, that's great news, can you tell me how to get there.", said Naruto looking between the two. Once the card holding guard explained the quickest path to the lowest level Naruto created two clones that knocked out the two still in their seats.
"You and that talk-no-jutsu are going to give me a heart attack.", said Jiraiya walking over to the table. Tayuya joined him pulling out a kunai and moving behind one of the guards to cut his throat.
"Stop!", said Naruto getting in front of the redhead, "We don't need to be doing that, I will tie them up so let's just go." Leaving his clones to finish securing the two unconscious men they jogged down the long hallways and down many flights of stairs until they stood at a large steel door ten feet tall and twenty feet wide with fist-sized bolts holding it together at the seams.
"What the hell do you think is behind this thing?", ask Tayuya placing her hand on the warm steel of the door, it felt like it was humming with some suppressed energy. Looking over the steel wall of a door Naruto could see no lock or handle to open the mass of metal, it was as if it was embedded into the rock itself and was unmovable.
Tapping on the door gently he could feel it was solid and not some type of elaborated Genutsu. "Any ideas on how to open this thing?", said Naruto as Jiraiya was looking around the edges to see if there was some hidden lock.
Standing there in front of the steel door rubbing the back of his head, Naruto thinks that a well-placed Rasengan would take care of this problem but what could be behind the door was the bigger question. It's this big for a reason and he doesn't just want to blow it down and have to face some creature wanting to rip his head off.
As those thoughts roll around in his head the door slides up into the ceiling faster than he can eat ramen and he finds himself standing face to face with a tall redhead with brown glasses and a puzzled look on her face. She is an inch or so shorter than him but still half a head taller than Tayuya.
"Hi!", he said with a little wave of his hand as her crimson eyes narrow and she leans forward to get a better look at the orange fool standing in her way. Bright blonde hair, Konohagakure headband, and orange from head to toe, ya look like a fool to her. But his chakra is so bright and warm it almost takes her breath away, having never felt chakra like this so close she paused in sounding the alarm. She steps forward until their noses are almost touching and her crimson eyes lock with his blue sapphire eyes in a contest of wills or maybe something more.
Tayuya was known to be very fast, and nimble, she proved that now by getting between the two and pushing the girl back a step so she could stand between them.
"Close enough there four eyes, we should at least introduce each other before you rape my boyfriend.", said Tayuya as she defiantly stared up at the other girl who seemed to have been broken out of a trance as she took a couple more steps back into the lab. Not wanting to have the door come slamming down on them Naruto pushed Tayuya into the room, as he follows her in he can see out of the corner of his eye that Jiraiya was already into the lab looking around as they played clan tag.
"Who are you and why are you in my lab?", said the new redhead, now that he has a chance to look her over with Tayuya playing interference Naruto can see her outfit consists of a lavender uniform that exposes her navel, very short skin-tight black shorts, and tall black thigh high stockings with black sandals. She has a great figure that shows she is a trained shinobi with clearly defined toned abs and legs he wouldn't mind being wrapped in.
Getting an elbow to the gut from Tayuya he wonders if he said that out loud but he can see she only wanted him to introduce them. "HI again, I am Naruto Uzumaki and this is Tayuya Uzumaki, we are looking for a clanswoman, would you be an Uzumaki?", he asked all sunshine smiles and bouncing on his heels like a puppy. Tayuya was a little bit more business-like as she looked around seeing a functioning lab with some guy strapped down on a table. This wasn't looking good for the new girl.
"Yes, I am Karin Uzumaki, I had no idea there was anybody left alive from the clan,", said Karin looking down at Tayuya she continued, "At least one of you looks pureblood, I wish my mother had lived to see this day."
"My mother tasked me with rebuilding the clan, what did your mother do? Train you to cut people up?.", said Tayuya pointing at the man on the table. Naruto looked over at the table to see a very tall, muscular young man who has spiky orange hair chained down with a dozen straps and belts over his body. Jiraiya was nowhere in sight and that worried Naruto more than anything else, when it comes to his sensei you never knew what trouble he was going to get into.
"I am the Warden of this prison, not a scientist, I was trying to calm Jugo down as he can cause a lot of damage if he gets enraged.", said Karin as she turned and walked back into the room, the steel door slide back down as she moved away. It made no noise as it closed and looked as if it had never moved.
"What do you mean warden? I thought these were soldiers to fight for Orochimaru.", said Naruto joining the two women at the table, he could see the newly named Jugo seemed to be sleeping or was drugged, he couldn't really tell the difference.
"No the ones here are the failures.", said Karin checking the numerous straps and locks holding Jugo down.
"We found papers that say they are using your blood to make these monsters, why are you even working for that mad man.", said Tayuya getting in Karin's face as best she can so she had to answer.
Karin pushed the smaller girl back and crossed her arms, "I was given a choice by Orochimaru, willingly donate blood or he would suck me dry as many times as he could. After a while, that sadistic sicko Kabuto stopped coming and I was left here to watch over this prison.", said Karin.
Tayuya and Karin got in a staring match as sparks seemed to fly between them until Tayuya must have decided she was telling the truth and broke eye contract saying, "Ya, that sicko Kabuto, we found pieces of him in pickle jars at the last hidden base we searched, seemed he pissed off the wrong Uchiha.", said Tayuya.
The news seems to lift a massive weight off of Karin as she seemed to relax for the first time during this whole conversation. She walked over to one of the other empty lab tables and rested her hands on it as if to find something stable to lean on. Turning back to the two newcomers she said. "I have been living in fear of that man returning for over a year.", with a quivering voice she continued, "I have been more scared of him returning than Orochimaru, as least with Orochimaru you knew when he was going to kill you, with Kabuto he would just experiment on you until he got bored and then kill you is some horrible way just for his amusement."
"What's the deal with this one?", said Jiraiya popping up out of nowhere standing on the other side of the strapped-down Jugo. Karin didn't seem fazed by his sudden appearance as she felt him come into the room and walk over but Naruto had jumped back a couple of feet hearing Jiraiya start talking behind him.
Naruto's moving must have triggered Jugo awake as he started to moan and move his arms. Karin grabbed a hypodermic syringe and injected Jugo in the neck with a blueish fluid.
Karin looked up from her work and gave Jiraiya a pensive look before saying, "This is Jugo, he is the only known member of an unnamed clan in the north, He voluntarily came to Orochimaru in the hopes that he could be cured of his fits of rage. His clan has an innate ability to absorb natural energy from their surroundings due to their unique bodies. However, the adverse effects of absorbing all that energy result in sudden and uncontrollable surges of madness, causing them to sporadically go berserk. Their unique bodies also secrete special fluids that allow them to undergo various drastic physical alterations."
Karin moved over and pulled out a notebook from under the other lab bench and handed it over to Jiraiya. She knew who he was having heard stories of Orochimaru's teammates, she hoped to meet Tsunade someday as her mother had told her they were related to the Senju in some way. She additionally wanted to show the world's greatest medic her healing skills, and maybe she could find a way to remove the aftereffects.
"Read this if you want to know what they have been doing with his body fluids, that Kabuto was a real sick bastard to have found a way to use them.", said Karin handing over the book to Jiraiya.
"Natural energy, without training, how is this guy alive.", said Jiraiya flipping the pages of the lab notebook to see if he can spot anything. Seeing as Jiraiya is busy with the book and not wanting to even know what he could find in there, Naruto walked to the other side of the room getting Tayuya and Karin to tag along with him. He hadn't understood half of what she had just said so had put it out of his mind.
"Now that you know Kabuto is dead you want to leave and come with us?", said Naruto including Tayuya in his invite. She seemed to think about it for a minute before asking. "I was a Genin for Kusagakure and I don't want to go back to being a shinobi.", she said remembering all the dead and dying around her as the village she was staying at after the chunin exams were burned down killing almost everyone.
Naruto looked at Tayuya and then back to Karin, he shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't think there is a rule that you have to be a shinobi, I can talk to the Hokage for you when we get back."
"Konohagakure!,", said Karin, she knew Orochimaru wanted to destroy his old village and she wasn't sure she wanted to be living in one of his targets. "I am not so sure I want to go to Konohagakure."
"Listen here four-eyes,", said Tayuya again placing herself between Naruto and Karin, "We are rebuilding our clan, now of all the villages Konohagakure is the only one that will not use us as some breeding cows. You can't stay hiding here forever hoping the world changes."
Jiraiya came over snapping the book closed to get their attention before saying, "Konohagakure has its faults but you would be under the protection of the council of clans if you can get your clan reinstated." Waving the now closed book in their faces he then added, "We have a bigger problem on our hands, you may have put the boy asleep but the notes here say he still is collecting natural energy even when he is sleeping. At some point, he is going to wake up and if what it says in here is true he is going to try to demolish everything in some kind of blind rage."
Karin looked over at Jugo and said, "Yes, it's a cycle, he will be fine for days, sometimes a week and then he starts to lose control so we put him in here. When he does break free the seals in this room will keep him confined until he runs out of natural energy." Moving to look down at the large orange-haired boy she said, "He is a really nice person when he is in control. All the animals love him and even listen to him but when the rage that builds within him takes control there is no stopping him."
"From what I read in here,", said Jiraiya, "He is the only source for the main component for the curse seal that is being used to create Orochimaru's army." Hearing that Tayuya pulls out a blade again and walks over to put an end to Jugo. "Hold on, we can't just kill him like that,", said Naruto. "Why the hell not, you saw what monsters he is creating, and we only got to see the rejects. What the hell do you think the other ones look like.", said Tayuya staring up at Naruto still holding her blade ready to put an end to this madness.
Watching Naruto try to stop the hotheaded girl from ending Jugo's life, Karen could see the comfortable, warm and bright chakra glowing around Naruto, there were sparks of red chakra mixed in that she would have to ask him about, Karen said, "You know, it's been tried before but as soon as you cut him he will wake up and kill you, he can heal incredibly fast."
"Then what is the plan, four-eyes? We can't stay here and I don't see us taking him with us.", said Tayuya always the practical one in the group. Pulling the blade from her hand and putting it back in her pouch for her Naruto looked to Jiraiya for any ideas.
"We untie him and leave the door open.", said Jiraiya, "We let nature take its course, if he leaves and lives or dies fighting it's up to him."
"Is there a way to wake him up without him freaking out or do we just, you know, run.", said Naruto turning to Karen, he already assumed she was coming with them and wasn't really giving her any options at this point. Karen looked at Naruto with his light show of chakra, it dazzled her with its strength, and made her feel comfortable all at the same time, she was always attracted to men based on their chakra quality. She felt a pull every time Naruto looked at her with those ocean blue eyes of his.
"I can wake him,", said Karin now only looking at Naruto, "but when I do, all of you will have to be out of sight, strangers trigger him faster than anything."
"You sure he won't attack you?", as Naruto does not move away to join the others at the great steel gate.
"Yes, I'm sure. He knows me, when he came to Orochimaru asking for help to control his anger I was the one that first helped him.", said Karin searching for a syringe and a bottle of greenish liquid.
Filling the syringe she motioned for Naruto to join the others are she injected the liquid into Jugo's arm. Stepping back a couple of steps she waited as the boy on the table first moaned and then blinked his eyes open. As he pulled against the bindings he frantically looked around until his eyes locked on Karin and he stopped moving.
"Is it over?", asked Jugo, he assumed his fit of rage had come and passed and he was once again being released.
"No, I needed to talk to you and you have to do your very best to stay calm, OK?", said Karin, getting a nod from Jugo she continued.
"I have friends here, no family really, they have come for me and I will be leaving with them but before I go I wanted to release you.", said Karin looking over at Naruto and the others. Jugo followed her eyes and looked at the three by the gate.
"Kill me", said Jugo putting his head back down, "Kill me, end my madness before you go."
"You know I can't do that!", said Karen as he had tried to end his own life many times and failed. Destroying everything around him each time he tried.
"Then what!", he said showing some anger, "I don't want to go back to the way it was, waking up in the middle of a destroyed village and not knowing if I killed everyone or not. I am sick of being used as some weapon. Dammit, Orochimaru said he could cure me!"
As Jugo talked his skin was turning gray in flashes across his exposed skin, even a small horn grew out of his forehead before fading back into his skull. Naruto came forward and stood beside Karin, placing his hand on Jugo's arm he said, "Your life is your own, nobody should control you. Orochimaru lied to you, he only wanted to use your blood to make an army."
Looking over at Jiraiya but getting no answers to his unasked questions Naruto said, "I know your pain, I know it's hard but you're a good man that needs good people around him. Is there someplace you can go that your family uses to control your rage?"
"My father said there used to be a temple to a great sage named Gamamaru that we would go to learn to control our nature but it was destroyed in the last great war and we could no longer contact the great sage.", said Jugo pulling at his bindings, "Now my clan is gone, all killed in fits of rage or died enslaved to some lord. I will not be a slave!", said Jugo breaking free of his arm and pulling Naruto close by his jacket, as they locked eyes Jugo could see the pain in Naruto's eyes, pain but also hope that Jugo couldn't understand. Releasing Naruto he screamed in pain and confusion as he tried to control the transformation as the last of the drugs burned out of his system.
"Gamamaru is the name of the great sage of Mount Myoboku,", said Jiraiya moving to the other side of Jugo. "Did your father tell you what the great sage looked like?", he asks getting Jugo to focus on him and not Naruto. Jiraiya already had a seal in his hand he could use to restrain the boy if he had to as well as a few techniques that he thought would kill the boy if he had to use them.
"Father said the sage was as large as a house with webbed feet and large eyes. He would teach my clan by taking them to the top of a mountain in a large temple before sending them back to our homes. But once the temple we would meet him at was destroyed we no longer had a way to call the sage.", said Jugo staring up at Jiraiya.
Jiraiya looked surprised at this news and started to grin at Naruto as he thought of a plan. "Your clan was being taught by the Great Toad Sage Gamamaru of Mount Myoboku, he is thousands of years old and the sensei of my sensei.", said Jiraiya walking to the center of the room and dancing around with a spin of flare. Making a series of hand signs he slammed his hand to the floor, with a great puff of smoke that quickly passed he stood tall with two old toads in brown clocks standing on each of his shoulders.
Jugo not wanting to be trapped, broke free of all his bindings and moved to attach Jiraiya and the two toads. Fukasaku and Shima, being great sages who ranked immediately under the Great Toad Sage himself, moved as they changed into Sage mode in a blink and jumped to each side of the enraged boy. Using an elemental technique of wind and water they froze Jugo in a column of ice then jumped to the top and sent sound waves into the ice to paralyze the boy in place.
"What is this Jiraiya boy, you found a member of the Jugonkia clan, we thought they were all killed in the last great war.", said Pa with Ma nodding sagely next to him. "The Great Honorable Geezer sent us to find them years ago.", said Ma with Pa nodding sagely to her side.
"Yes, Ma, Pa, you're right, he seems to have an innate ability to absorb natural energy from his surroundings but he can't control it and goes into a murderous rage.", said Jiraiya squatting down to talk eye to eye with the two great sages.
"Yes, yes yes, I know Jiraiya boy, he needs to find balance within and without himself, it is only his unique body that stops him from turning into stone, like all the others who fail.", said Pa. "We must take the pour boy back with us, the great sage will be very happy to train him when he wakes up from his nap.", said Ma.
"You sure you can control him?", said Karin knowing just how powerful Jugo can be now that he has had a chance to absorb so much natural energy.
"Don't you worry there child, we have been helping his clan for hundreds of years.", said Pa slapping his hand on the still froze Jugo, and a blue glow that all could see flowed out of Jugo into Pa as he pulled all the natural energy from the still boy.
"Thank you Pa, Ma for all your help.", said Jiraiya, with a bow the two great sages joined hands and placing their free hands on the ice vanished in a puff of smoke returning to Mount Myoboku.
"Now that he is safe and can't be used by Orochimaru anymore can we leave now.", said Tayuya, she really hated being underground for so long, it reminded her too much of the times she had to work for the snake Sannin, plus it smelled down here like old socks and dried blood.
Looking between Naruto and Tayuya, Karin made up her mind and said, "Ok, I will go with you but I need to get some things from my room." As they walked down the long corridor and up the stairs Naruto said he wanted to look around and Tayuya almost but didn't hit him saying, "What are you stupid, don't you know any horror stories, splitting up is the dumbest thing we can do."
Reaching the fourth floor up from where they started Karin went into a room that looked like a bedroom being used as an office with a bed on one wall and a desk and filing cabinets on the other. She quickly shoved some extra clothes into a bag and then went over and opened some of the files and dumped them on her desk, turning to look at Jiraiya she said, "You want any of these research papers before I burn them?" Jiraiya moved over and scanned them before pulling out a scroll and sealing all of them into it including the desk and two filing cabinets.
"We don't have time to look over all of this now, we can do that later when we have time.", said Jiraiya in answer to all their questioning looks.
"What about all the prisoners?", ask Tayuya as they followed Karin as she walked quickly down the stairs and into another long corridor. "The guards will take care of them for a while but once they realize I am gone and Orochimaru will kill them for allowing me to leave then they will run away." Stopping at a blank wall she placed her hand on it and a genutsu faded away to display a control panel. Pushing some buttons and pulling down a lever she stood back and channeled some chakra into it. "This is the emergency termination system, it will pull all the chakra from the valley and flood the base, this was Orochimaru's way of stopping anyone from using the beastmen against him."
"WHAT!", said Tayuya, "Now it's OK to kill them, will you guys explain to me the rules one of these days." she crossed her arms and looked mostly at Naruto as if he was the moral compass of the group.
Naruto looked confused at first then after thinking about it he said, "They are mostly dead already, any part of them that was human was killed when they were transformed so really it a mercy to stop their pain."
Getting a grunt of agreement from Tayuya, Karin finished setting the seals in motion and a bright light on the panel started flashing. "That's the five-minute warning so let's get moving before we get trapped in here." Turning back to the stairs Karen ran up them taking two or three steps at a time with everyone close behind. Reaching the top she activated a seal on the wall and it dropped away showing a long tunnel with sunlight at the end. Not having to be told what to do now they all run at full speed to the exit out the side of the mountain away from the valley. "I thought the exit was at the bottom of the valley,", said Naruto as he looked around at the trees and the mountain overhead.
"OH, the main exit is but when that Jutsu goes off anything living down there will fry in the flood of chakra as it's pulled into the base.", said Karin.
Tayuya starts laughing and puts her hands on her knees to stop from falling over. "I knew I liked you, save the guards my ass you're going to fry them all."
Naruto looked shocked but Karin said, "They are a bunch of murdering thieves that would kill and rape you in a heartbeat and in that order, I might add, so fuck them they know what they signed up for."
Lighting starts to shoot out of the top of the mountain as a great roar filled the air, the trees all shook and bend over as a great wind blew down into the valley. They all dropped to the ground to stop from being blown away using chakra to anchor themselves down as they waited out the chakra storm. It seemed to last forever but really it was over in three minutes as a jet of chakra flame shot out of the tunnel they had exited setting on fire any trees that happen to be in the way. Jiraiya seeing it coming had erected a stone dome over them at the last second.
"You could have warned us there girl.", said Jiraiya straining to keep the dome intake as the chakra raged over them."
"I had no idea it was going to be that bad.", she said looking somewhat surprised at the force of the jutsu.

Picking up her things Karin followed Naruto as he ran along the edge of the smoking valley until they were able to drop down into the lake basin. Checking on the camp they found three of Naruto's clones still reading books and keeping the fire going, over by the lake another clone was fishing for dinner. As the sun was low they all agreed to stay the night before heading back to Konoha.
"You know it will take about 10 days to get to Konoha if we take the land route.", said Jiraiya as he took over cooking duty from one of the clones that seemed more interested in Karin than the fish.
"I think your clones are done studying for the night don't you?", said Tayuya giving Naruto that look he was leaning meant he was missing something, dispelling the clones he got a faraway look in his eyes as he remembered reading all day about seals and there use in combat. He couldn't wait to go train using them and started to stand up and leave, Tayuya knowing what he was going to do pulled him back down to sit next to her.
"You can train later, we have to plan now.", she said leaning into him as he sat on the log next to her.

"Well is it because I wasn't born into the clan?", said Naruto hoping this would be over soon so he can get some sleep, he really wanted to train using those new seals he learned.
"Good, so a clan isn't people getting married, it a family with?", Jiraiya waved his hands hoping Naruto would be able to finish his thought and get what he is trying to tell him.

"Yes, some bloodlines are more pronounced than others but every clan has one in their genes that they can pass down. The Uzumaki have a strong life force, long life, and a very special chakra type.", said Jiraiya, "So the village passed a law at its founding that only a family with a bloodline of some type could be a clan as clans are given special rights and a seat at the clan council."
