The Past is the Past

After getting cleaned up and dressed Tayuya crawled back into the tent to fall face-first into her bedroll completely exhausted but in a good, no great way as she still could feel the hum of pleasure resonating throughout her body.
Turning her head she looks over to Karin who was staring wide-eyed at her as if she was a ghost. "What?", ask Tayuya not moving to sit up but rolling over on her side to face the clearly freaked-out girl.
For Karin she couldn't help but watch every moment of them having sex, her mind's eye jutsu is always active without any conscious effort and unlike most sensors, who normally need to mold chakra, she can't help but 'see' what is going on around her. Even with her eyes closed the light-show of their chakra was almost blinding to her senses.
"Is it always like that?", asks Karin, hoping she doesn't have to go into detail with her new roommate about what she was asking her.
"No not really, it's usually better but I was tired already.", said Tayuya matter-of-factly as if she was talking about the weather. Karin made a funny whining sound before saying, "I can tell you're not lying, but I still can't believe it. Your chakra was incredible and his was blinding me.", said Karin clearly shaken up.
"Have you ever done it?", ask Tayuya, she was ready to sleep and didn't want to have to do 'girl-talk' all night if Karin was some freaked out virgin?
Tayuya could see the other girl turn pale at the thought and she seemed to have to center herself before answering in a low tone.
"That bastard Kabuto forced me a couple of times, he said he wanted to monitor my chakra.", said Karin. Clearly not wanting to remember back to those days. Kabuto was sadistic even when having sex, he seemed to like pain more than pleasure.
"Well, I know how it feels to be forced and with Naruto, it's nothing like that, it's beyond good most of the time, and when its not its still great.", said Tayuya as she rolled onto her back.
"We are kunoichi, I don't know about you but I was trained on how to put such things behind me, you know it happens to both women and men, they just don't talk about it.", added Tayuya recalling some of the things she has seen the sound shinobi do after a battle. They are all a bunch of sick fucks and she wished them all to die a burning death.
Now that she had a chance to talk it out Karin laid down on her bedroll and joined Tayuya in staring at the tent ceiling. "The training when I was a Genin wasn't that good I think, my team failed during the second phase of the chunin exams, we didn't make it to the tower with both scrolls by the fifth day so we just headed home. That was when the village we stopped at was attacked and burned to the ground. It was one of the worst things I had seen until Orochimaru took me for one of his study subjects." Turning her head to look at Tayuya who had fallen silent but was still awake, "I think we both know what that is like.", said Karin as she recalled some of the horrors Orochimaru had made her do.
"The past is the past, I don't think about it, I just want to have a bunch of kids and teach them how to be better shinobi than I ever was.", said Tayuya. Karin knew that it wasn't healthy to suppress your feeling like Tayuya was doing, it was going to come out one way or the other, she just hoped someone was around when Tayuya finely let it out.
Karin was silent again, she didn't want to tell Tayuya that she had seen her egg get fertilized tonight only to have some red chakra burn it out before it had a chance. She knew that the only way Tayuya or anybody else was getting pregnant was if they found a way to counteract that chakra for at least the first couple of minutes to give the embryo a chance. Knowing she wasn't going to be able to sleep for some time, Karin started thinking about all the ways she could block or nullify that red chakra.

The next morning as the sun came out from behind the distant mountains Naruto woke up with a groan and decide he had to train with his new sealing arts, last night with Tayuya had been good but he still had some pent up energy he had to burn off if he was going to be of any use. At least that is what he told himself so he had an excuse to blow things up.
Remembering what he did on to the rock cliff he figured he would try something like that but on a different element. Walking out onto the glass smooth water of the lake, he moved several hundred feet out from the shore as he shook out his hands and then closed his eyes to try to remember what he was thinking when he used this seal before. The books said it was very important to have a clear picture of the outcome of the seal more so than the hand signs used to make it. Getting a good idea he gathered his chakra and slams his palm down onto the surface of the water. For a split second, nothing happen and then he found himself standing on air as the water just vanished into the seal on his palm. He dropped into the void as the water rushed back in to fill the void he created. Swimming back to the surface he stood on the surface once again. "Dam, next time don't do that between your feet.", he said to himself trying to get the water out of his ears. Shaking his head he sent water drops flying all around him once again breaking the smooth surface of the lake into ever-growing circles.
The seal on his palm was glowing and pulsating with energy faster and faster as he looked at it. Just like last time, the seal couldn't hold for long and he pointed his palm down and away from his legs waiting to see what happens. He still hadn't figured out a way to release the seal on command so he waited for it to overload on its own.
Without warning a massive jet of water shoots from his hand sending him flying into the air as it smashed into the surface of the lake creating a ten-foot-tall wave in all directions. As he reached the top of his arch of flight Naruto was a good hundred feet in the air but thankfully still over the water as he watched the wave spread out. Crossing his arms over his chest he fell feet first into the water and quickly swam to the surface just in time to see the wave hit the beach and head toward his camp and still sleeping companions.
'Oh Shit!', was his only thought as the water reached the tents, now only a foot tall the wave still carried enough force to flood the tents and push them up into the trees. The screams of two very pissed-off girls and one not too happy sensei could be heard.
"Naruto I know you did this, your not getting any for a week.", he could hear Tayuya screaming as she untangled herself from the tent ropes to march down to the water's edge still in her sleeping shirt and bare-legged she looked sexy as hell all dripping wet and red-faced.
"I swear by all that is holy if you come anywhere near me I am going to pull it off, you hear me you little fucker.", she screamed for all the world to hear. As he walked back up the beach he could see Karin squeezing out her coat trying to dry it as best she could before putting it on. From what he could see she was in a black sleeveless low cut shirt and black matching panties. Those long legs of hers looked even better and that nice round ass was a sight to see as she bent over to get more of her things out of the tent.
Seeing him ogle her she covered her chest with her wet coat and made a hand sign at him sending a glowing chakra chain to fly out of her back to slam into his head sending him flying backward into the water unconscious. Seeing the chain fly by her on its way to hit Naruto Tayuya watches the blonde boy go flying and land on the water unmoving.
"Dam, I thought I was pissed, you didn't have to kill him!", screamed Tayuya running into the water to pull Naruto back onto shore. Pulling her coat over her shoulders but not bothering to find her shorts Karin helped carry Naruto to the ruined camp and drop him down onto the sand.
"I am so sorry,", said Karin to a groggy Naruto as he came awake with his head on Tayuya's lap, seeing Karin standing over him in nothing but little black panties and her long-sleeved coat he just laid there to enjoy the view. 'I just don't understand, I can look at her leg but not the rest', he thought as she kneeled down and places her palm on his forehead where the chain hit him.
Tayuya watched with her full attention as Karin used the Mystical Palm Technique to heal Naruto's thick skull. Removing all traces of the injury in minutes she sat back on her heels to watch and make sure he was OK. Rubbing his forehead and looking up at the two redheads hovering over him he said. "Sorry, I was training and I lost control of the seal I was working on."
Now that he was officially OK, Tayuya dropped his head onto the sand and stood up. "You still not getting any for a week you dumb-ass," she said spinning around and walking back to the pile of rubble that was their tent. As her little round ass sways back and forth he knew he would never train so close to her ever again. 'Dam a week is a long time, he thought.
Feeling a hand on his face he looks over at Karin, "I am sorry for hitting you so hard, can you forgive me?", she said with a little smile. 'Dear God please not another one with a split personality.", thought Naruto looking at the now flirtatious girl.
"Ya, I forgive you, it was my fault anyway.", said Naruto getting to his feet and then helping Karin stand up. He still didn't understand why the now half-naked girl reacted so harshly, the only difference now was she had on long sleeves.
Hearing movement behind him he turned to see Jiraiya getting out of his perfectly intact tent. Everything around the tent for ten feet was just as it was before as if the wave had never can to shore. Jiraiya looked about at the mess and laughed, "I knew you would do something stupid.", he said, making a set of hand signs so fast Naruto couldn't see what they were he dropped the barrier seal he had put around his tent.
"Next time warn us you're going training.", said Jiraiya as he started to pack up his things for the start of their long walk back home. He didn't want to go anywhere near that little pissed-off redhead as she was throwing things in a pile next to what was left of their tent.
"I would make an army of clones to go help if I were you.", said Jiraiya over his should not even bothering to look up. He learned long ago not to get between an angry girl and her target.
It took twenty clones, fire and wind jutsu combination, and two hours to sort everything out, get it dried enough to pack in their travel bags or sealed into scrolls for the trip. Tayuya now fully dressed along with Karin stopped talking to Naruto as they found sand had gotten into everything they owned. It would take multiple washings over the next couple of days to get it all out, especially their underwear.
As they traveled along the lakeshore Jiraiya and Naruto ended up hundreds of feet ahead of the girls as they didn't want anything to do with Naruto for now. "You really in the dog house now kid, I hope you learn from this.", said Jiraiya lightly punching Naruto in the shoulder and laughing at the sad face Naruto was making.
"Ya ya laugh it up old man, next time we are a town with a bathhouse I am going to tie a bell around you.", joked Naruto as he planned on doing so much more than just a bell.
Leaving the lake behind them they ended up setting up camp in a forest clearing miles north of Herb lake but still, days travel to the capital city of Tea Country. Naruto learned that night that Uzumaki women can hold a grudge as they took turns throwing small rocks at him every time he started to fall asleep against a tree by the fire. It wasn't until early morning that they stopped ensuring he only got a couple hours sleep before they had to pack up and do it all over again for the day.
As Naruto walked with Jiraiya with the two girls following behind still giving him the evil eye Naruto said, "Ah man, I need to get some sleep, can you help me pervy Sensei?", giving Naruto a look Jiraiya was going to laugh it off but thought this would be a good time to teach Naruto now that he had his full attention.
"Listen, they are not going to let this go but I have an idea, if you put a simple barrier seal around you tonight they at least can bounce any more rocks of that thick head of yours.", said Jiraiya
"Wow that sounds great, a new jutsu, and I can sleep.", said Naruto now bouncing around Jiraiya. "Hold on there, you have to get it just right, too much chakra and you'll cut off your air too little and it won't stop anything.", said Jiraiya, now that he has Naruto focused back on him again Jiraiya showed him the hand signs and the design of the seal on a scroll he pulled from his bottomless pocket.
"So how much chakra should I use?", asked Naruto looking at the scroll and the pictures of the hand seals alone with an unusually simple seal design. "For you, I would say the same amount you put into one clone but no more.", said Jiraiya, "Go send a couple of clones off to work on it for tonight."
With a grin of victory and hoping for a good night's sleep, Naruto sent a couple of clones running off with the scroll.
Later that night the girls found their rocks bouncing off of an invisible shield Naruto placed around himself. Tayuya walked over and touched the invisible barrier he had placed around his sleeping blanket and felt she could break through it if she really wanted.
"Should I just break his little barrier?", said Tayuya to Karin who had been sitting on a rock watching what was going on, she had built up a nice little collection of rocks for tonight. "I think we have punished him enough, for now, let's just get some sleep.", said Karin kicking over her rock collection and walking to their shared tent.
With the morning sun shining brightly onto the camp Karin crawled out of the tent to the sound of Naruto's snoring loud enough to shake the tree he was leaning against. Walking over to kick him awake she found his barrier was still active and couldn't reach him.
"What the fuck is that noise,", said Tayuya joining Karin to look at the sleeping Naruto.
"You want to break that barrier now or should I?", said Karin as she heard Jiraiya getting out of his tent and cracking his back. Spinning around Tayuya walked over to Jiraiya and stood staring up at the much taller man and said, "Pack your stuff we are leaving, NOW". Jiraiya looked over at the sleeping Naruto and Karin who had moved to break down the tent they had used last night and gave a shrug. "Don't put me in the middle of your crazy Uzumaki love quarrels.", said Jiraiya as he turned to pack up his stuff. Within minutes they were all heading north with the sound of a snoring Naruto fading in the distance.
Waking up that morning Naruto found himself alone in an empty camp, finding a note by the now cold fire pit that read, 'Adults get up in the morning', signed Tayuya, it seems she convinced Jiraiya to leave him behind when they broke camp in the morning. Checking the sun he was sure it wasn't past noon yet but they must have at least three or four hours' head start.
Taking to the trees he ran off after them, making some clones to fan out as scouts just in case he missed them. It was a little past noon when he found them having lunch near a small stream.
"About time you showed up, have a good night's sleep?", asked Tayuya, looking over his disheveled look as he had been frantically looking for them all morning. Taking a seat next to Karin who at least smiled at him as she handed him some food, he said. "Yes, thanks for asking", not wanting to start a fight knowing he really couldn't win her over by yelling at her.
As the day moved to a close and they started looking for a good place to make camp again Naruto said to Karin who seemed to have forgiven him, "I really need to train on that new jutsu I learned, I need to get stronger to protect everyone." Karin, who had been traveling next to him all afternoon so she could feel his chakra blushed a little as she wasn't expecting him to talk to her. She had had a chance to have some long talks with Tayuya and had learned that Naruto was being hunted by a group called Akatsuki.
Orochimaru had talked a little about them so she knew how powerful they were but wondered what plan they could have with Naruto. "You know, you could just leave behind some clones in the morning to train. Jiraiya said that you should remember everything they learn.", said Karin smiling at him hoping he would notice her a little more.
"OH Fuck, I forgot about that again.", said Naruto slapping his hand against his forehead protector a couple of times. He started to make the hand sign for the clone jutsu but Karin put her hand over his to stop him. "Do it in the morning, that way you will be rested and we will not be near them if they blow themselves up or anything.", she said showing her more forceful side.
"Ya your right, your so smart Karin-chan.", said Naruto without thinking about how that would make the girl feel. She blushed at the sudden praise, and Karin noticed Tayuya watching them from across the campsite. They would be having a talk tonight in the tent she was sure of it now.
Later that night as Karin was drifting off to sleep, Tayuya said, "You seem to be warming up to Naruto.", rolling over Tayuya was laying on her side staring at Karin's back waiting for the other girl to reply.
"He is a nice guy, I don't understand why you give him such a hard time.". said Karin rolling over to face Tayuya.
"If he is going to lead our clan then he needs to grow up and start acting like a leader.", said Tayuya getting up on one elbow.
Karin rolled onto her back and took a deep breath, "Who said he was going to be the leader, it doesn't have to be a man you know, the Senju have Lady Tsunade.", said Karin recalling one of the things she learned while spending time in Konohagakure.
The surprised look on Tayuya's face was a sight to see as she also rolled over onto her back. "I don't want to be lead so you must be talking about yourself.", said Tayuya.
"Would you have a problem with that?", said Karin not moving a hair's breath as she waited for Tayuya to answer.
"Truthfully I am not sure, I have spent months with Naruto so I know his strengths and weaknesses so we will have to see. That old pervert said we have ten days to get to Konohagakure.", said Tayuya.
Rolling back to her side Karin said, "Ok, ten days and then we put it to a vote, as long as we all don't vote for each other someone will win.", said Karin, "Besides, I need to learn Naruto's strengths and weaknesses too but so far its been a lot of weaknesses."
Getting a grunt of agreement from Tayuya she relaxed and forced herself to sleep. Time will tell and she had ten days to figure this all out.

One would think that using clones to train would be so easy as to be nothing at all. Send them off in the morning and later that night you collect what they learned, but you would be wrong, oh so wrong. Three clones for eight hours almost blowing themselves up doesn't teach you much more than it hurts, it hurts a lot when you do fūinjutsu the wrong way.
After two days of trial and error Naruto dragged himself over to Jiraiya, "Sensei, can you tell me what I am doing wrong?", asked Naruto as he helped set up the fire pit for the night. The girls had gone off to do girl stuff and they were alone for a while.
"Hard to say.", said Jiraiya using a small fire jutsu to start the logs on the fire. "I am beginning to think you read the book backward or something, I am petty sure it said you needed to learn chakra control first before trying any of the other seals." Looking at Naruto he sat back and waited.
"But chakra control is so BORING, I want to make things blow up or seal fire into a rock, now that is cool.", said Naruto grinning foolishly while putting his hand in and out of the fire.
"Yes that is cool if you can do it but you're clearly not doing it.", said Jiraiya slapping Naruto's hand out of the fire, "You need control to do those things, just like when you worked on making a Rasengan but this requires more then pure concentration, this requires knowledge, focus, control, and concentration."
Naruto hugged his knees and made a whining noise as he thought about what Jiraiya said. "but how am I supposed to do all that?", asked Naruto, all his life he just pushed forward, falling on his face many times but always getting a little closer to his goal. This time the harder he tried the more he didn't know and the worst enemy he had ever faced 'self-doubt' was now beating him into the ground.
Now that he could see Naruto had truly hit a wall he couldn't just beat his head against it to get through, Jiraiya thought maybe just maybe he was ready to hear the truth and start to become the great shinobi Jiraiya believed him to be.
"If it was anyone less, I would say forget about it, you missed too much at the academy, you have developed too many bad habits, hell boy you don't even listen half the time because you think the person talking to you is trying to trick you.", said Jiraiya losing his temper thinking about what those academy sensei did to Naruto. So many false lessons, training in faulty styles, and outright lies had dam near ruined him.
"OK, I get it but what do I do?", asks Naruto, this time giving Jiraiya most of his attention.
Laughing a little at the very idea he was about to say Jiraiya said, "Clones of course but this time we use them smartly not just throw them to the wind and hope they fall onto something.", said Jiraiya dropping a couple of more logs onto the fire sending a small cloud of sparks up into the air to make his point.
"First you make a team of clones to work on nothing, and I mean nothing but chakra control, then you make one clone for each of your lady friends and get them to teach you what you missed at the academy,", holding up his hand to stop Naruto from jumping up and doing something, "AND you will walk with me as I teach you the theory of the five basic elements."
"We have a couple more days before we reach the capital city of Tea Country, once there we can rest for a few days, get what supplies we need and then you can start working on simple seals, If and I mean if you show me you learned something.", said Jiraiya laying out the plan he had worked out with the two girls over the last couple of days as they all watched Naruto spiraling down with each failure.

The next morning, leaving ten clones behind to work on basic control exercises with strict orders not to fool around or go off on some side adventure, the group headed out for a slow walk to the Tea Country Capital city with three Naruto's spread along the trail listening to the history of the five great nations, Basic of nature and learning about the Five Basic Natures of chakra.
At the end of the day just as the sun was setting the clones working on chakra control all disperse at once. The flood of memories along with what they had learned hit Naruto all at once like one of Sakura's punches. Karin still talking to her clone Naruto about what a cell in a leaf of a tree does to convert light into sugars and organic molecules watched as Naruto fell over holding his head.
"I think that is enough for today don't you think?", said Karin to Tayuya as she was waving her hands around talking about the battle of the Stone Gulf between earth and lightning that happen a hundred years ago. It was one of the few sea battles in history and both sides still claim victory to this day.
Tayuya looks over at Naruto getting up shaking his head when she said. "Ya I think he needs a break.", she poked her Naruto clone hard in the chest causing him to pop as Karin did the same. The effect on Naruto was instantaneous as he looked at the two of them before falling over backward holding his head.
"What the hell, you trying to kill me!", he yells out, laying on the ground. Jiraiya found all this uproariously funny as he started writing notes down in his little notebook. The girls walked over and helped Naruto back up and sat with him as they had the last meal of the day.
"You feeling better now,", ask Karin as she kept an eye on Naruto out of the corner of her eye. He finished all his food like a starving man and she had even given him half of hers because he looked so hungry. She noticed Tayuya had gone back to leaning on Naruto when she sat next to him, Karin guessed she had finally forgiven him over that little water episode.
"Ya, I'm good, those bastard clones all blew themselves up with a seal at the end of the day.", said Naruto still feeling a little shaky. "Payback is a bitch even when you do it to yourself.", he jokes as he remembers talking like one of the clones about how it would be a great prank to do to himself.
"You did good today, you should get as much rest as you can, tomorrow will be more of the same.", said Jiraiya. He made a show of setting up a barrier seal around the camp giving Naruto a hint at what he will be able to do in the future.
"Go sleep in the tent, I will say up for the first watch.", said Karin giving Tayuya a knowing look thinking she would want some alone time with Naruto now that she has forgiven him. Tayuya give Karin a puzzled look and didn't move as Naruto went to crawl into the tent. In minutes everyone could hear him snoring so loud he would wake the dead.
"What you trying to do there four-eyes.", said Tayuya stretching out her hands to the fire as she sat next to the other girl. "I figured you would want to spend some time with him now that you have forgiven him.", was Karin's response.
"I may have forgiven him for soaking all of our stuff but that doesn't mean I want to have sex with him with you two right outside the tent.", said Tayuya not looking at either of the other two at the fire.
Jiraiya was writing furiously in his notebook as the two girls talked. This was gold for his next books, he could see it now the title for the chapter now, 'Red Lightning at the camp fire', it would double no triple his sales.
"I could teach him a sound barrier seal if you want.", chimed in Jiraiya hoping to move this to the next level. "Shut up you old pervert!", yelled both girls at the same time. Looking at each other they both started laughing at this whole predicament they ended up in.
"Maybe later old man,", said Karin sharing a moment with Tayuya, "It sounds like it would take a bomb to wake him up anyway." the sound of Naruto's snores filled the camp as he rolled over and gave out an extra loud snort. Now Karin knew why Tayuya joked about always finding a way put her hand over or in his mouth when they slept together.
For the next 5 days, Naruto worked his brain harder than he ever had in his life, he learned quickly that he really didn't know anything about the world around him. Once it dawned on him how his lack of understanding of the natural world was slowing his training to a standstill he truly began to focus on every word Karin said. With every new piece of information, she taught him he could find a way to start using it in his endless supply of clones training to control the raging chakra he contained.
Seeing the success Karin was having Tayuya demanded two clones, then three to work with as she makes a game out of history. With one clone playing each piece on the game board that is the world she had him work on what would each of the countries do given what she told him of the politics and policies of the time.
This seems to work best for the blonde as he learned best by doing and keeping him interested in the world around him by play-acting out history. With each lesson, he was able to guess right Tayuya would give him a reward of a kiss, or two, with promises of more if he could only get it all right. As the world was a madhouse of crazy rulers and changing politics Naruto would never be able to anticipate every outcome but it turned into a great game to play.
"What do you mean the Rasengan is not complete?", said Naruto holding his hand out and making the glowing blue ball appear in the palm of his hand, "It looks done to me." He added letting it fade away like a bad dream in the morning. Jiraiya had once again said it wasn't done and now with his new understanding of chakra nature Naruto wanted to understand what he meant by incomplete.
"The fourth Hokage invented it as a base jutsu of pure unadulterated chakra, it was to be combined with any of the other five elements of fire, wind, lightning, earth, or water. He just didn't have time to work on it.", said Jiraiya going over the five basic elements once again to reinforce them into the blonde's head.
Looking at his hand then to the sky Naruto said, "How would you add another element to the Rasengan?" Giving Jiraiya a chance to explain himself, "That my boy is the problem, I have tried a couple of times but I have to focus on my spy network, I was hoping you could give it try.", said Jiraiya slapping Naruto on the back in encouragement, the clone Naruto popped in a loud puff of smoke and Jiraiya could hear Naruto behind him talking to Tayuya yell out. "Sorry old man, Tayuya wanted the real me today."
By the middle of the afternoon, they came out of the woods to find a well-maintained road wide enough for two or three carts with power line poles running along one side. Jiraiya looking at the map said it was the main road to the capital.
"We're getting close now, we'll travel down the road and should reach the capital by the end of the day.", said Jiraiya setting off at a fast walk down the road with the three following close behind. The clone Karin was talking to had dispersed when they found the road and Naruto hadn't bothered to replace it. The clones he had left behind to work on chakra control had strict orders to disperse one at a time and not do anything dramatic.
Karin locked arms with Naruto as they walked and pulled him close, "So what were you and Tayuya doing back there in the bushes.", she asked, when he looked over at her she was batting her eyes at him and was blushing in the setting sunlight. "Nothing much, you know just kissing and stuff", stammered out Naruto not knowing where this was going.
Putting her head on his shoulder she said, "Tayuya isn't the only one that likes to be kissed you know."
Now Naruto had developed a fondness for Karin but wasn't sure about how she felt about him. Her actions now were confusing, up to this point she hadn't shown any hint she was interested in him, even after everything he had done with so many women he still didn't understand them one little bit.
Seeing as Tayuya had walked ahead of them to catch up to Jiraiya it left them alone as they trailed behind the other two that seemed to want to make a race out of walking down the dirt road to the capital city. Naruto was distracted as he enjoyed the view of Tayuya's little round butt as she did her best to keep up with the long strides of Jiraiya, her short skirt showing off her legs.
Karin hugged his arm to her breast and said, "So you want to do some sightseeing when we get to the capital, you know, alone?", she had slowed down her walking forcing Naruto to stay with her as the other two quickly pulled away into the distance. Naruto turned to look at Karin and for once noticed he could look into her bright red eyes without looking down. She stopped and stood face to face with him. Their eyes locked and he felt her hands on his shoulders as she slowly leaned into him and gave him a soft kiss on the lips.
Turning her head to the side she gave him a cute little smile and waited for him to react to such a forward move on her part. It was the first time she had ever kissed someone first and didn't know what to expect out of the overactive blonde, but him just standing there wasn't even on the list. He seemed to be looking over her shoulder like he was missing Tayuya and it was beginning to piss her off.
"What am I not good enough for you!", she started to yell when Naruto grabbed her and threw her off the road into the brushes as a blast of water slammed into Naruto still standing in the road.
"Dam you fucker, I almost got you.", yelled out Suigetsu as he landed in the middle of the road with Kubikiribocho over his shoulder. Naruto came running at him with a Rasengan in one hand and a Kunai in the other. Throwing the blade at Suigetsu it passes through him to stick quivering in the ground behind him.
"Ha, you loser, you can hurt me with a Kunai,", yelled out Suigetsu as he lifted the sword over his head to cleave Naruto in two. The Kunai to his back exploded when the seal Naruto placed on it overloaded with chakra sending pieces of steel into Suigetsu's back and blowing him into the air straight into Naruto's upraised Rasengan.
Suigetsu exploded on impact with the ball of chakra sending water raining down around Naruto. Knowing this wasn't the end of the battle Naruto scanned around looking for that water bastard to show himself again. Seeing Karin had come out of the tree line to see what was going on only to watch Naruto reduce somebody to water drops. She was impressed but seeing the white-haired boy reform in the gutter of the road she screamed out. "He is over there!", pointing behind Naruto who turned to face his adversary.
The overly large sword Suigetsu had been wielding had been blown a hundred feet down the road with Naruto now standing between it and Suigetsu. Karin seeing the water boy looking at the sword ran over to it and picked it up to only find it was too heavy for her to do anything with it but drag it away from the fight.
"Come back here with that you bitch!", yelled out Suigetsu, having taken his eyes off of Naruto he was caught off guard when a blast of wind hit him containing cutting blades that once again reduced him to his watery form. Each time he had to reform, he lost more and more chakra. Not wanting to drain his chakra reserves he blasted Naruto in the chest with a water jet only to find out it was a clone as it popped into a cloud of smoke.
Knowing the ways of a Ninja he spins around to find Naruto at his back with another Rasengan. Moving to avoid the hit he feels the chakra ball slam into his shoulder as he rolls around the road to getaway.
"Wind Release, water blob", yells out Suigetsu sending a blast of air filled with water into Naruto's face. The water quickly formed around Naruto's head preventing him from breathing. As Naruto tried to pull and punch the water off his head Suigetsu stood and laughed at the blonde boy.
"You're going to die now, and after you're gone I am going to kill that little redhead girlfriend of yours for what you did to me.", yelled Suigetsu as he watched Naruto flail about on the ground trying his best to remove the water blob from around his head.
As Suigetsu stood there with his hands on his hips laughing at the dying boy on the ground he was hit by four glowing chakra chains that wrapped around him and sealed his chakra. As the chains quickly drained him, Karin was able to hold onto him until he passed out.
With Suigetsu now unconscious the water fell away from Naruto who jumped to his feet having fallen to the road, his normal blue eyes now glowing as red as Karin's as they looked down at the ex-Kirigakure shinobi.
"Who the hell is this guy.", said Karin as she released one chain after another from around his form until she was sure he wouldn't be jumping back up again.
"We found him in Orochimaru's base next to Fire Lake, he is the one that told us where to find you.", said Naruto as his eyes slowly returned to their normal blue but not taking his eyes off of the fallen shinobi.
"This must be that Mist shinobi Orochimaru was studying to learn his water jutsu.", said Karin as she recalled some reports she had read at her base. "He uses some family jutsu to turn into water, he was called a master of murder as he would only take the cruelest missions and killed everybody involved."
As Karin finished they both looked down the road to see Tayuya running to them with Jiraiya close behind. Having felt the Nine-Tail's chakra they came running knowing something must have happened. When Tayuya had seen that they weren't following close behind she figured Karin had pinned Naruto to a tree and was trying to pull his pants off. At least she hoped that was what was going on, her fellow redhead needed to get some.
"What the fuck is water boy doing here, that fucking asshole needs to learn to stay down.", said Tayuya. "He said he was going to kill you and Naruto for something you did to him. ", added Karin still not looking away from the fallen shinobi. She had learned the hard way with all those crazed mutant prisoners that as soon as you look away they pop back up and try to kill you. She had lost more guards that way over the months.
"I know for a fact this asshole has killed hundreds if not thousands of men, women, and children over the years.", said Tayuya as she pulled a kunai from her pouch and moved to cut Suigetsu's head off.
"Wait, we can't just kill him,", said Naruto not liking the idea of killing anybody.
"Listen, I agree that most of the time it's not right but this ass was called a prodigy of murder, he has a habit of chopping off his victim's limbs to watch them suffer before beheading them. What if he does that to one of your friends, hell what if he does that to one of your kids.", that last part Tayuya screamed in Naruto's face as she lost her temper with the blonde hero.
Naruto looked lost as he tried to find a reason not to kill the mist nin at his feet. As he waved his arms around trying to find some words that would make sense as to why Suigetsu should live they heard a loud chopping sound.
Looking over they found Jiraiya holding the handle of Kubikiribocho as he had used it to cleanly remove Suigetsu head from his body. As they watched jets of blood shoot from Suigetsu neck flow onto the dirt road to form a red puddle. Karin moved back not waiting to get any of the blood on her saddles and finally taking her eyes off of the body as her feet. "He would have killed you and Tayuya without any thought of remorse, hell I am sure he would have killed me too. ", said Karin as she looked at the face Naruto was making. Death was never easy but it was the nature of being a ninja and she didn't understand how Naruto was the way he is about it.
"You sure that asshole is dead?", Tayuya asked Jiraiya as she walked around the pool of blood and looked down at the severed head. "He should be but with these types, you never really know,", said Jiraiya throwing the sword over his shoulder with one hand and forming hands signs with the other. When he was done he blasted a stream of fire out of his mouth onto the head until it burned into white ash, once he was satisfied he used a wind jutsu to blow the ashes away.
"Ok kids everybody back away,", said Jiraiya handing the sword to Naruto as he walked by. Making the same hands signs as before but with both hands, he created a much larger firestorm around the body until it to was reduced to a fine white ash. Using a wind jutsu he blew the much larger pile of ash into the trees up and down the road.
"We won't be seeing that guy again, I hope all the souls of those he killed can now rest in peace.", said Jiraiya turning to the group and taking the sword from Naruto, he started to walk down the road again. With those words still ringing in their ears, they didn't feel like doing much talking as Jiraiya started to jog and then run down the road to put some distance between them and the bad memories of the afternoon.
Tayuya looked at Naruto at her side and hoped he would start to grow up some and put away this idea that everybody could be saved and turned into a friend.

'Oh god this feels good,', thought Naruto as he lowered himself into the hot spring, Jiraiya had found them a nice hotel next to a semi-public bathhouse. Naruto was waiting for Jiraiya to join him as the girls were over in the women's side of the bath. They had made it very clear that if Jiraiya tried to peep in on them they would make his life a living hell.
"How is the water.", ask Jiraiya as he came out of the changing room of their private bath. With only a towel around his waist, he stilled was an imposing figure with his long white hair and very fit body.
"It's great, thanks for paying for the private baths,", said Naruto lowering himself into the water until the water touched his nose, with his towel folded on top of his head he looked like a white mushroom floating in the water. As Jiraiya lowered into the water and stretched out he looked over at Naruto.
"Have you had a chance to think about what I said,", ask Jiraiya.
"Yes, it sounds great but how long does Sage training take?", asked Naruto, as he remembered how powerful the two toad sages felt when Jiraiya had summoned them to take Jugo away.
Blowing some bubbles as he dunked his head underwater Jiraiya came back up and said, "That is up to you, some never learn, some die trying and others like the fourth become a Sage in a month, can't really tell before you try."
"The fourth was a Sage,", said Naruto not having heard this before about his hero.
"He was my student just like you, I taught him everything I know and then he taught me what he figured out on his own, like the Rasengan, that is how it should be, the teacher becomes the student.", said Jiraiya dropping his foolish act for once.
"That is why I said you need to work on adding another element to the Rasengan, I believe if anybody can do it, it will be you.", added Jiraiya.
"Wow, thanks Pervy Sage,", laughed Naruto, using a new moniker, "But I think I need to return to the village first and get the girls settled in, I know Karin doesn't like fighting and Tayuya I don't see her wanting to wait around as I do sage training."
"You sound like your in a clan or something.", joked Jiraiya happy to see Naruto growing up and thinking more about the future beyond his next bowl of ramen. "Talking about clans, you remember what I said about becoming a clan, it takes at least three adults but there has to be a kid also to get reinstated."
"You know I love kids but I can't just ask one of them to get pregnant just so we can be called a clan.", said Naruto.
"I didn't say you had to force the issue but you should at least talk to them about it. Who knows, they may be all for it or tell you to go to hell but at least then you know where you stand.", said Jiraiya, he knew for a fact that both of the girls had talked about it having overheard them one night. Naruto being the clueless wonder never thought for a minute someone would want to have his children.
"You really think so,", said Naruto, "It's been fun with Tayuya-chan but she never talked about wanting a family and I haven't really had much time alone with Karin-chan. They both seem like they would make great mothers but aren't we a little too young."
"You're a shinobi, you could be killed at any time, and then what? Most people in my generation started to have kids right out of the academy or soon after. If Tsunade's bother had lived I know she would have handed a bunch of kids with Dan but now she just wants to let her clan go.", said Jiraiya, they had long talks about it when there were younger and Tsunade had said she couldn't stand the thought of watching one of her own children die before her.
"So granny is really the last of the Senju?", asked Naruto as he let his legs float up to the surface. The hot water and minerals in the water felt so good he didn't want to leave.
"I can't really say, you're going to have to ask her that yourself one day.", said Jiraiya, knowing most if not all of the secrets of the village really put a burden on him sometimes. Those Yamanaka were like rats chewing at everyone's minds looking for every hidden secret. He was sure they didn't tell him everything but they had sworn on the most powerful of seals to work for the betterment of the village.
"How am I supposed to do this then, just walk up and say hey want to get pregnant.", joked Naruto but really how to even bring up the subject.
"You know, for Tayuya that might just work, but I think you're going to have to take Karin out on a couple of dates before you ask her that question unless you want a black eye or worst.", said Jiraiya, he so wished he had his notebook with him, this was gold for his next book, gold you hear me.
"I just thought of something, how do I tell Sakura and Ino, I mean they both seem really interested in me, at least I think so.", said Naruto, he still had a hard time understanding the difference between lust and love.
"I don't know about that pink-haired teammate of yours but as for the Yamanaka, she is going to have to marry someone in the clan, if I know them at all they already have someone lined up and ready to go once she reaches full Jonin.", said Jiraiya, being the spymaster of Konohagakure he knew not only the name of the boy but had helped in the process to select him.
"You mean they will force Ino to marry someone,", said Naruto not liking the sound of this, maybe he would have to do something about this when he gets home.
"I wouldn't say force but that is how clans stay clans. If you let members marry outside of the clan too much then the clan will just fade away into a group of people that just share the same name if you are lucky or the women take the family name of the husband and the clan really falls apart. All that makes a Yamanaka a Yamanaka will be gone. The same goes for any of the clans you know in the village. They have to keep the bloodline from getting too diluted or else they stop being a clan.", said Jiraiya, he had this conversation with so many young shinobi it was old hat for him. They all love the idea that they can do Jutsu no one else can do but when they are told they have to marry within the clan they always freak out at first.
Naruto looked over at Jiraiya with wide eyes as he thought of something. "But then how am I to grow a clan, I can't just have kids with my own kids, that, that, that is so wrong,", said Naruto now getting really upset at the idea. He didn't know much and would be the first to tell you that but he did know that that was so very wrong.
Sitting up in the water Jiraiya looked over at Naruto as he had a small panic attack over the idea, "That is the problem the Uchiha have, the only way they can keep their bloodline strong was to marry siblings or first cousins. Why do you think they all seemed a little crazy most of the time.", said Jiraiya, not wanting to bring up the subject of stillbirths and other mutations that had to be put down at birth. He would like Naruto to keep his innocence for a little longer.
"The Uzumaki have very strong genes, I know there are a lot of quarter blood Uzumaki out there and with the right controls, you should be able to fold them into the clan as your kids grow. I know it all sounds so clinical, like your breeding horses but as a clan head you have to think of these things.", said Jiraiya watching to see how Naruto reacted to this, he knew of only two other Uzumaki out in the world. Both of them are only a quarter Uzumaki but at least they are the right age.
"That seems so wrong, people should marry for love not to just make kids for a clan.", said Naruto not liking the idea of telling his kids who they can and can't marry, "They should marry for love, not for some clan.", he repeated as if he had to hear it again to make it real.
"Oh, so your telling me you're in love with Tayuya now, what about Karin, when did this noble love happen, on the walk to this city, or was it when she killed those monsters at Orochimaru's base.", shot back Jiraiya, the kids got to grow up and start to think, he can't let his feelings control his life, two many mistakes are made when you just use your feeling.
"You talk of love all the time but do you really know what love is? You love Sakura, you love Ino, dammit kid you seem to love your enemies, that would be great if you were a monk but you're a shinobi. You're a trained killer, so start acting like one.", said Jiraiya, he knew he was going too far, Naruto needed to hear this and he was the only one who could do it so he would listen, Jiraiya had tried to get that academy sensei to talk to Naruto about this, dam bastard was too much of a coward to do it.
Naruto lay floating in the hot water looking at Jiraiya with those blue eyes, he looked like he had been told all the ramen in the world was gone never to return. It had to be said and Jiraiya only wished he had found a better way to say it. Maybe if they had gone out and had a couple dozen drinks at a bar it would have come out better but he doubted it.
They stared at each other for a minute or two then Naruto jumped out of the water with a towel around his waist and pointing his finger at Jiraiya saying, "I do love people, and I don't see why we can't stop the killing, yes some people are bad but we have to stop this world from killing innocent people all the time.", said Naruto slamming his fist into his palm, "You hear me world, I am going to find a way to make peace not war, Dattebayo!"
Jiraiya watched the crazy teen dance around the room declaring his intentions to anyone that would listen and hoping that this time he is "The Child of Prophecy" that the Great Toad Sage Gamamaru foretold.
