Jumping up in the morning Naruto knocked both girls into the sides of the tent, "They are on the move, we got to get up.", he yelled as Karin tried to pull her shirt back down and Tayuya just gave him the evil eye. Everyone did their best to get dressed and head out, Karin kicked Naruto in the back forcing him out of the front of the tent when he spent more time watching her get dressed them pulling his own pants on.
Rolling around with one leg in his pants and a shirt half on he ended up rolling into the back of Jiraiya's legs as he stood looking back at the valley. "Stop playing around and get a move on.", Jiraiya said not even looking down at the blonde boy as he pulled on his clothes.
The plan was simple in that all the traps would fire off as the Akatsuki members came close. None of them expected any of them to do any real damage but the sheer volume would be the real diversion as they waited for a chance to steal the bag containing Fu.
Standing at the edge of the tree line Naruto told them what he knew, "They broke camp about half an hour ago, looks like Hiden had to spend some time praying or some as he wasted the first couple of hours of the morning to do some rituals with some dead animals. From what my clones could see Kakuzu was not happy about it and left him behind. He has that bag with Fu in it on his back and is heading this way."
"How far apart are they then?", asked Jiraiya thinking they would have to make a change to their plans.
"Don't know yet, he was still praying when my clone dispelled to warm us that Kakuzu was leaving.", said Naruto
"Dam, that means Kakuzu is at least 30 or 40 minutes ahead of Hiden, that's good isn't it?", said Tayuya as she did the math in her head on how long it's been since they woke up.
Laughing at the idea that fighting any S-rank criminal was good Jiraiya turned to the group.
"Looks like it will be phase two of the plan first," said Jiraiya kneeling down and drawing out a rough map of the area with the valley and road clearly marked on both ends. "Show me where they camped", he said to Naruto as the blonde pointed out the spot and told Jiraiya about some landmarks that would help to find it.
"You sure Hiden is still there?", Jiraiya asked one more time. "Yes, I have at least 5 clones overlooking that spot right now", said Naruto
"Ok then, now we can see how good the hunters are when they are the hunted.", said Jiraiya making some hand signs and slamming his hand to the ground summoning Gamakichi out of a cloud of smoke, "Hey, what's up guys.", said the horse-sized orange toad.
"We are on a mission to rescue a girl from some S-rank criminals.", said Jiraiya cutting off any cute banter that Naruto and Gamakichi would normally get into. "OK boss but shouldn't you call on Pops for this.", said Gamakichi knowing his own limits against an S-rank.
"I need you to take me to the first target and you're faster than your old man when it comes to getting over mountains without being seen.", said Jiraiya as he jumped on the back of the giant toad. Getting a grunt of agreement from Gamakichi Jiraiya pointed to the mountains and headed off, he planned to go over the top of the mountains and bypass the valley all together.
"You think he can make it before that psychopath gets moving?", asked Tayuya leaning into Naruto's side and then pulling away when she noticed she was doing it again. Karin was only grinning at her knowing she just lost a bet and Tayuya wasn't looking forward to paying up.
Naruto looked down at the small redhead and back to the mountain, Jiraiya was no longer in sight so he turned to the two girls and said, "Hiden just finished whatever he was doing and is heading down the road lets hope prevy sensei can get to him on time."
"Can't you tell your clones to slow him down or something?", asked Karin not being familiar with how shadow clones work.
"Doesn't work that way, I can only receive their memories when they dispel, I can't send them any", said Naruto.
Karin walked out of the tree line and looked up at the mountain top they last saw Jiraiya going over and turned to look at Naruto again. "How far away can you create a clone.", she asked, clearly showing her more pushy side as a plan formed in her head.
"I don't know, never really tried.", said Naruto, getting a look of disappointment from the two redheads who still didn't understand why he limited himself so much, he wasn't dumb he had proved that but he still just didn't think outside of the normal training routine.
"Try,", said Karin pointing to the top of the mountain about a mile away, "to get a clone to appear on that ridge."
Staring at the spot Karin was pointing to Naruto focused all his attention on it and pushing every other thought from his mind made the hand sign yelling, "Shadow clone Jutsu!", slapping her hand over his mouth Tayuya said, "What the hell you want to fucking tell the world where we are, yelling doesn't help, dammit."
Laughing Karin pointed at the mountain where they could see a dot that looked like a Naruto falling from the sky to only land on the top of the mountain and dispel in a puff of smoke. Facing Naruto Karin smiled and said, "Good, now do it again, without yelling, and aim a little lower." Moving to the side to give Naruto a clear view of the mountain he tried again with a much quieter, "shadow clone jutsu", they waited but didn't see anything, and turning to Naruto he just shrugged, "I don't know, it didn't dispel so I don't know were it…", he paused and then smiled, "He was on the other side of the mountain, he dispelled himself to tell us to do it again."
"OK, this time I am going to send over Alpha Squad, they will know what to do.", Naruto said, and before the girls had a chance to ask him what he meant by that he said in a much lower and to them meaner sounding voice, "Shadow Clone Jutsu, Alpha Squad Version"
Naruto had to take a couple of steps back when he was done as if he had to push against some great force to do the jutsu. "They have their mission, stop Hiden at all cost,", said Naruto grinning like a fool as he turned to look at the two redheads staring at him, "Death is Honor", he slapped his fist to his chest in the traditional salute of the Iwagakure Death Squad.
Getting a strange look from Karin, Tayuya said, "I am not going to tell you anymore war storied if you're going to be acting like this.", crossing her arms over her chest he could see she was pissed off again.
"Now that we did what we can I think it's time for us to get in place,", said Karin as she could see the other two had fallen into a staring match over these foolishness. "OK,", said Naruto creating a dozen standard clones and sending them out into the mouth of the valley to act as advanced scouts before he ran off to join them to wait for their target.
Doing their part of the plan the two girls stayed in the tree line but moved up into one of the tallest trees they could find. Pulling out her flute Tayuya blew a couple of notes and check it was clean and ready for action. Now it was a waiting game and depending on Naruto's clones to do their job and nothing else.

Landing on the ground a good half mile past the main mountain peak Alpha Squad leader hit the ground running with his loyal men close behind. The Boss had been clear and had filled the squad not only with an overabundance of chakra but a sense of purpose, a purpose to die in glorious battle against an undead enemy.
'It's amazing how fast and how far you can go in a short time when you don't care if you live or die', thought the leader as they landed on the roadway at the far end of the valley. Checking behind him he was pleased to see all four of his men had made it this far. The fall one of them took off that last cliff should have done him in but for the quick reaction of his team using a wind jutsu to soften his landing.
"Men,", he yelled to gather them around him. "As this is the first and last day we have together let's distinguish ourselves as the best of the best, of the best." Looking into the there bright red eyes, he could feel the Kyubbi chakra burning inside his chest, with nods of agreement he shook hands with each and every one of them before turning to run up the road into oblivion.
"I have an idea,", said squad member three stopping all of them in their tracks. "If we use the barrier seal on ourselves in a transmogrifying remodel of basic energy conservation we can alter our construct."
The leader, being a good leader, allowed all his men to express their ideas in an open and safe environment but still, "What the fuck?", he said getting the rest of the squad to grunt out their agreement.
"Looks like somebody got all the brains this time,", said clone two getting a laugh from the others.
"What I meant to say is using a barrier seal we can prevent getting dispelled on the first hit. Depending on the chakra level from the BOSS it may give us a chance to last more than the day.", said clone three.
"Why would we want to do that, death is an honor, no death, no honor.", said clone one getting more grunts of agreement from the others.
"Yes, yes I agree but imagine how great the honor would be if our deaths really meant something, something like defeating an S-rank enemy not to just dispel after a drunk sailor breaks a bottle over our heads.", he added that last part as he really didn't like dying that way and wasn't going to let it happen again. Dammit, he was a death squad member, it wasn't fair.
"Ok, Ok, everyone calm down,", said the leader not wanting to lose control of the squad. "What do you have in mind?", he asked clone three who seemed to have some grand plan, he hoped it was good and he didn't regret saving him from that fall off the cliff.
Clone three showed them the hand signs for the barrier seal they all knew but added in five more signs that turned the bubble shield into a barrier only a hair away from the skin. "OK, someone hit me, hit me hard.", said clone three.
Not one to pass up the chance to hit anybody clone four stepped up and hit clone three as hard as he could, sending his teammate flying down the road to bounce at least three or four times before coming to a stop against a tree. Getting up clone three waved at the team as he ran back to join them.
"See it worked, great hit by the way.", he said to clone four.
Being a true leader and not one to pass up the chance for more glory clone one said," Ok let's do this, show me those hand signs again."

Looking out between the leaves Karin pushed her hair away from her face and pushed the strains behind her ears as she looked for any sign that Naruto or one of his clones has engaged the target, not seeing any change to the valley or the road coming down from the mountain she turned to Tayuya who was polishing her flute and said, "I don't like this, it's taking way to long."
Putting her polishing rag away Tayuya looked up the valley and said, "Can't you sense that asshole coming down the valley or not" Closing her eyes Karin relaxed her chakra and let her mind's eyes fully open to the world around her. She found Naruto in a split second and could even feel some of his more charged up clones he planned to use as human bombs and then faintly at first the chakra of Kakuzu with its distinct five layers of chakra from his four hearts.
"He is close, about a mile or less but he isn't moving all that fast. I get the feeling he is waiting for Hidan to catch up to him.", said Karin opening her eyes and looking back out to the valley. Tayuya put her flute to her lips and played a short melody that sounded like a bird's mating call they had heard in the area but with an extra note at the end. She could only hope that Naruto remembered to listen for it as they agreed.
"You think he heard that?", asked Karin once Tayuya lowered her flute, "Ya, he heard it I made sure of that, now does he know what it means I have no idea.", replied Tayuya as she retied the scarf over her hair to cover more of her forehead hoping to keep her hair contained.
"I don't get how you can fight with all that hair in your face all the time,", said Tayuya looking over at Karin. "Ok, fine,", Karin said with a huff of annoyance as this was the tenth time this morning Tayuya commented on her hair and glasses. As Tayuya watched in disbelief Karin using only her chakra braided her hair into a tight knot at the back of her head and even anchored her glasses into it with a couple of extra strains for good measure. Now looking like she was wearing a red helmet she turned to look Tayuya in the eye.
"There now you happy, I am sure I look foolish.", said Karin.
"Ya you do but at least you can see.", said Tayuya turning back to watch as a small black dot of a man moved out of the valley and walked without a care in the world down the middle of the road. "Wow this guy really thinks a lot of himself, he isn't even trying to be careful.", said Tayuya putting her flute to her lips as she waited for the first of the many traps to fire off.
As Kakuzu walked past the first line of traps and into the minefield they all worked so hard to set up he paused and looked around as if sensing something wasn't right. Putting his hands together he flared his chakra and destroyed the dozen genutsu covering the traps all around him. They had expected this and as he looked down a seal expanded out from his feet feeding off the chakra he had used until with a bang a circle of explosive tags propelled him high into the air.
Kakuzu used his momentum to fly backward he landed in the first line of traps. An anchor seal pinned him to the ground as three more tags exploded sending bullet-like rocks into his body and the bag on his back. Breaking the seal at his feet he ran to the side where the first set of explosions had made a series of craters.
Using the newly made hole as cover he cast off his black cloak, dropped the bag containing Fuu to the side, and using his trademark jutsu sent one of his black heart creatures out to find and destroy whoever was attacking him. The creature was a wind type as it blew a great gust of wind in a swirling tornado covering the whole area in a cloud of dust.
Naruto seeing his chance ran out of his hiding spot and ran headlong at Kakuzu's back forming a Rasengan as he went. The dust cloud hide his movement until the last moment when Kakuzu turned and grabbed his arm before he could slam the Rasengan into his back.
"I have been around way too long to fall for this old trick boy,", said Kakuzu as he shoved a kunai into Naruto's gut. Kakuzu was shocked to see a smile on Naruto's face as he pushed the blade even deeper. With the sound of the wind and having both hands full of the enemy in front of him, he was propelled into Naruto as another Rasengan was slammed into his Fire Mask on his back and deep into his body.
The Naruto in his hands exploded as it triggered the exploding tags in its jacket destroying the other clone at Kakuzu's back and throwing Kakuzu deeper into the killing field of traps.
"Great Wind Break thought.", screamed Naruto blasting all the dust and smaller rocks out of the area giving everyone a clear view of Kakuzu standing in the road as he called forth two black heart monsters.
"That's my clue,", said Tayuya as she played her Demonic Flute and called out the Doki Demons and then quickly changed her melody to her 'finale' playing the 'Revolt of the Demon World' song sending the many-mouthed chakra worms to fly out of her Doki. They danced around the Doki for a few seconds before hearing the song to change their focus and rushed to attach Kakuzu a half a mile away.
"Where are you, you orange-wearing freak, the boss will pay me double for bringing you in for him.", yell Kakuzu, he had memorized all the containers of the tailed beast and knew immediately who Naruto was.
"You mean little old me!", yelled out a hundred clones coming out from behind every rock and hiding hole. Rushing forward the clones tried to dog-pile Kakuzu as his monsters attached the rushing horde of Naruto's as they started using every jutsu they knew from cutting wind blades to supersonic shurikens to try to kill the black monsters.
While the area was filled with flying steel Kakuzu expanded his body and turned himself into a mass of tentacles shooting them in every direction dispelling the clones all around him. In the middle of all this chaos, the many-mouthed chakra worms entered the battle and penetrated all of Kakuzu's defenses tearing into him removing pieces of his physical energy. Launching attaches after attach on these ghost-like worms as they pursued him in a complicated pattern that almost resembled a dance as they drove over and over into his body weakening him with each pass.
Staggering around Kakuzu began to understand that these spirit worms are impervious to direct attacks. "Find the person who controls these things and kill them!", he screamed at his lightning, water, and wind Mask as he tried to fight off the endless stream of Naruto's and the worms at the same time.
The three masks flew high into the air and started to search for the source of the worms when one of them spotted the glint of Tayuya's flute in the sunlight and rushed toward its source. Karin seeing the creature flying at them said, "Here comes one of those mask creatures Jiraiya told us about."
Tayuya couldn't stop playing to respond to her and having to keep the target in sight or else the worms would attach the largest source of physical energy in the area, and that would be Naruto.
Taking a breath between notes Tayuya said, "Keep them off me, dammit.", as she started to jump around the trees as the fire mask started to blast apart everything in the area setting the whole forest on fire.
Knowing this would drain her of chakra fast Karin waited until the last moment before jumping out from behind the tree she was using as a shield and yelling out. "Adamantine Attacking Chains", the chains flew out from her back and pulverized any target she pointed at, in this case, the fire mask was only forty feet away when the chains tore into the mask reducing it to a slime of black goo as its heart was ripped from it.
With the destruction of their bother mask the last two rushed together at the now exposed girls as they ran from tree to tree trying to put some distance between them but still keep the main target in sight.
At this same time, the worms had eaten away at Kakuzu incessantly until he was but a shell of his former power. Once Naruto was sure the two mask monsters had moved to attach the girls as they moved up the ridge line he jumped out to face Kakuzu on his own.
"You coward, I am your enemy, not the girls.", yelled out Naruto causing Kakuzu and the two remaining masks to turn on him. Knowing he had but one chance to get this right he created three clones, one to make a Rasengan, one to make a Wind release Rasengan and he started to form a ball of chakra without form. "Rasenshuriken", he yelled as the two clones merged their jutsu with his and he held over his head the first Rasenshuriken spinning madly and the sound of a million blades spinning to their own destruction.
Naruto could feel the small blades cutting his hand and arm as he rushed forward pushing more and more chakra into the jutsu, he didn't know what would happen but more chakra was always the answer to any jutsu as far as he was concerned.
Jumping over Kakuzu tentacles the clones sacrificed themselves to clear a path to Kakuzu's main body as the two remaining masks merged back into Kakuzu trying to give him back some of the strength he had lost.
"I can not die.", cried out Kakuzu as he felt some of his energy return as the mask merged back into his body but it was too little too late as the Rasenshuriken smashed into his chest and Naruto was thrown backward by the resulting force of the released jutsu.
A ball of white chakra formed around Kakuzu and expanded until it was the size of a house and then expanded more until Naruto had to kick his feet quickly to push himself away before he to was consumed by the overcharged Jutsu.
The girls came running down the ridge seeing the monster jutsu flaring out and blinding them to what was going on at the base of the valley. It wasn't just the light but the sound of roaring blades spinning out of control they could hear, the high-pitched scream of the blades overwhelmed thier senses until with a flash it was gone.
Running over to Naruto they found him on the ground trying to get up but it looked like his right arm and leg couldn't function and he kept falling back to the ground. Karin and Tayuya both grabbed one arm and helped him stand but Karin could see that there was no chakra flowing into his arm or leg.
"What the hell was that?", asked Tayuya almost hopping up and down so full of adrenaline she couldn't stop moving.
"I call it the Rasenshuriken, but it didn't work as I expected", said Naruto not feeling anything in half his body. He called to the fox for help, but he only heard laughter in return. The fox seems to think this whole thing had turned into one endless joke and he was going to enjoy it.
The girls helped Naruto walk, more like hop his way over to where Kakuzu lay in a burned-out pit at least ten feet deep that the overcharged jutsu had cut into the earth.
"Fuck me, that bastard is still alive.", said Tayuya as she looked down at the moaning body of Kakuzu as his tentacles tried to slowly pull back into his body.
"I am so fucking done with this asshole,", said Tayuya putting her flute to her mouth and calling her Doki down from the tree line. Once there she had them jump down into the pit and using there clubs and blades to smash and pull apart Kakuzu throwing pieces of his body out of the pit in every direction. Karin couldn't watch as it was making her sick and buried her face in Naruto's neck as he looked on at the carnage.
Watching the last of the Doki slam down its foot over and over again on the remains of Kakuzu's head Naruto said, "I think that is enough don't you." Getting a nod from Tayuya she stopped playing her flute and with a simple hand sign sent the Doki back to the nothingness they came from.
Thinking they should at least pick up the pieces Naruto tried to make some clones to gather up what they could of Kakuzu but as soon as they formed they fell over, each having the same useless arm and leg as their creator.
"That isn't good.", said Tayuya watching the clones flop around. "No it isn't, help me get him over to that rock over there.", said Karin as they moved Naruto over to a rock to sit on.
"Now I am not sure this will work but,", said Karin pulling up her sleeve and pushing her arm in Naruto's face, "Bite me.", she said with a little laugh hoping to lighten the mode.
Naruto bit into Karin's arm and felt the flood of her chakra enter his body in a rush. It was a strange feeling as it runs into the Kyuubi's chakra and flowed around it to heal everything in its path, Karin watched with her mind's eye as her chakra hits the dead area of Naruto's body and with more force than she had ever had to use before pushed her chakra into his body.
"You OK, you don't look so good,", said Tayuya as she watched Karin turn pale and seemed unsteady on her feet. "I don't feel so good,", said Karin as she started to fall over, Tayuya rushed over and helped her sit on the ground as Naruto seemed to be in a daze from the chakra infusion.
Looking over to Naruto Tayuya said, "How about you, did it work?", hoping she doesn't have to deal with two members of her family being sick at once, dammit she wasn't the doctor type.
"Ya it's better,", said Naruto moving his arm and making a shaky fist, "it feels like my arm is asleep but I can use it some." Naruto looked over to Karin who gave him a little wave and a smile from the ground, thinking she just needed some rest he tried to stand and found his leg was working.
"Shadow clone Jutsu", he said making some clones that started to collect the pieces that once were Kakuzu, one gathered some wood and made a fire as they all started tossing any remains into it. "Hey Boss what you want to do with this,", said one of the clones picking up the bag Kakuzu had dropped at the beginning of the fight.
"Bring it over here,", said Naruto still not wanting to leave Karin's side. The color was returning to her face and strangely enough, Tayuya was holding her up and was rubbing her back like she was worried.
"Easy with that dammit, it's the reason for all this bullshit,", said Tayuya as the clone started to drag the bag over to their location, getting some help from another clone they carried it over. It seems all the clones were still affected by Naruto's injury and were not at anywhere near 100% of there normal strength.
The clones placed the human-sized leather bag in front of the group and Tayuya left Karin's side to help Naruto open it as he seemed to still be having trouble getting his right hand to do what he wanted. She ended up using a kunai to cut open the bag to find a very bloody and beaten green-haired petite girl laying in a fetal position inside.
"Dam bastards did a job on her didn't they.", said Tayuya as Naruto and Karin moved over to look over at Fu. "Is she alive.", asked Karin not seeing any movement, she was using Naruto to keep her upright but he wasn't all that steady himself. Tayuya put her fingers on the girl's neck and checked, "Ya she's alive but it looks like we added to her injuries, look,", she said pointing out some new wounds on Fu's side.
"We need to check if there are any other wounds on her, we don't want her to bleed out.", said Karin as she joined Tayuya on the ground and pulled Fu's legs out straight to roll her onto her back. Fū was a petite girl with tanned skin with layered mint green hair, her outfit consisted of a short sleeveless white midriff shirt with fishnet armor underneath, long white armlets, and fishnet shorts with a short white apron skirt over it. If she wasn't covered in mud and blood she would look cute.
"Look at that, is that some type of seal?", asked Naruto pointing at a colorful piece of paper that seemed to be glued to Fu's stomach. Not one to waste time Tayuya forced her fingers under one edge of the paper seal and with a quick pull pealed it off.
Fu's eyes popped open and she took a deep breath before looking at them, her bright mint color eyes focused on Tayuya first and then over to Karin as they were leaning over the beaten girl but then she spotted Naruto behind Karin and smiled.
"I knew I would be saved.", Fu said in a voice that sounded ruff and as beaten as her body. She must have been screaming for some time for it to get that way before they sealed her in the bag.
With the seal removed they all watched as her cuts and bruises began to heal before their eyes. The seven-tailed chakra she contained healed her quickly and she was able to sit up on her own in a couple of minutes.
"Chomei said someone was coming to save us but she didn't say who.", she said looking at all of them but focusing on Naruto at the end. "Thank you so much.", said Fu pulling both Tayuya and Karin into a group hug as they kneeled next to her.
As they all stood up Fu took a step over to Naruto and gave him a hug that in Karin's opinion lasted a little too long before she stood back and looked around. Spotting the fire with the remains of Kakuzu still burning away she said, "He was from my village but he was a very evil man,", looking at the group still standing around her she added with a bow, "Thank you again for saving me."

Team Alpha now fully armored with their new seals ran at a full breakneck speed down the road looking for their own destruction in glorious battle. Each member planned to be the one that died with the head of their enemy in their hands. Death is Honor!
With their single-minded zeal and unwavering devotion to the mission they had come up with a plan and they only needed Hidan to follow along. "There he is,", said the leader causing clones 4 and 5 to peel off into the forest on the side of the road. With Hidan running at full speed down the middle of the road swinging his Triple-Bladed Scythe over his head, it was clear he spotted the squad coming at him and was looking forward to some fun.
The leader jumped up and landed a few hundred feet in front of the charging Hidan yelling out. "Earth Wall Barrier", creating a three-foot thick and ten-foot-tall wall across the road between the team and the blood-crazed lover of Lord Jashin.
"This can't stop me you fools!", yelled out Hidan as he jumped over the wall only to be hit by clone 2's spinning dropkick sending Hidan high into the air, clone three was close behind and using the top of the wall launched himself up into Hidan kicking him again in the gut sending him even higher.
Hidan threw his scythe at clone three hitting him in the chest and slamming him to the ground but as he pulled back the blade to lick the blood from it, to his surprise found nothing on it.
"My blade can get cut through any armor you fools.", screamed out Hidan as he fell back down to the road below. As soon as he landed the clones hiding in the trees causing long spikes of stone to shoot out of the ground piercing his body and pinning him down. Laughing like the madman he was he started using his scythe to break the stone when the other three clones jumped over the wall and without a word blasted him with a collection of stone bullets with a wind jutsu to increase their speed.
The hundreds of small stones punctured Hidan all over his body and cut his cloak to rags so that he was now bare from the waist up covered in blood. The wounds healed quickly as the clones formed a circle around the last devoted priest of Jashin.
"Fuck that hurt you little shits, wasn't expecting that out of you Iwagakure scum.", yelled out Hidan breaking the last stone pillar, freeing himself he catapulted into the air and sent his scythe into a long lopping arch trying to cut as many of the attaching shinobi as he could.
All the members of Alpha Squad tried to jump out of the way of the incoming weapon but clone four wasn't fast enough and the three blades hit him squarely in the back pinning him to the ground. "You died well bother,", cried out clone three as he blasted out a fire jutsu into the fallen comrade hiding the fact that it dispelled into smoke and making Hidan think one of his own teammates burned him to dust.
"Fuck you guys are hardcore, let me show you how it's really done.", said Hidan as he landed and sent his scythe flying at the remaining clone warriors while deflecting the barrage of shurikens shrieking loudly while attacking, and laughed maniacally he seems to lose himself in the battle. The clones did their best to avoid the lunatic's blades and keep him contained knowing they had a limited time before all their chakra was used.
"You guys are losers, you hear me losers and I will make a great sacrifice to Lord Jashin with your blood.", he screamed using the long metal cable to pull his triple-bladed scythe back to his side before using it again in a curved trajectory catching one of the clones by surprise and cutting his head clean off. Laughing hysterically he didn't even notice the body of the fallen clone puff into a cloud of smoke as the last three stood their ground.
"Death is Honor", shouted all three clones as they charged Hidan, one of them falling on the returning scythe preventing it from returning to Hidan's side. Being a long-range fighter Hidan was at a disadvantage when the two remaining clones attached him with only taijutsu.
Hidan flailed about taking every hit with a laugh as if he was enjoying the pain. When he pulled back on the cable to return his scythe back to him he found it cut by the clone who now had it in both of his hands. "You are not a believer,", yelled Hidan kicking a clone out of the way and rushing to retrieve his weapon of choice.
They didn't know if it was blind rage, a complete indifference to what was around him, or if he really thought he was invincible but somehow he didn't see the giant toad standing on the side of the road as he ran by.
When Gamabunta foot came down and squashed him into the ground Hidan learned the hard way that you have to keep your eyes open.
"Is this all you needed me for?", asked Gamabunta, as chief toad of all the toads of Mount Myoboku he had better things to do than step on bugs all day.
"Just hold on a minute, this one is a little harder to kill than you think,", said Jiraiya walking around the large chief of toads and pulling out the Kubikiribōchō from a storage seal in his vest. Holding the sword in both hands he nodded to Gamabunta to pick up his foot.
Hidan was squashed flat with every bone in his body broken but even so, they could see him healing as he rolled over and yelled, "I am going to kill you all, Lord Jashin will…" and with that Jiraiya cut off his head and kicked it to the side. Using the sword for what it was named after Decapitating Carving Knife Jiraiya removed all the arms and legs from the body and then cut the main torso into three pieces.
Seeing one of the clones holding the head after stuffing its mouth full of mud and leaves, Jiraiya motioned for him to bring it over.
"Gamabunta, can you take this back with you and find some way to kill it.", asked Jiraiya holding out the disgusting head.
"You will owe me greatly for this Jiraiya but I think the boiling tar pits of the cave of Hora Osore will do.", said Gamabunta putting the head in his vest pocket before returning to Mount Myoboku in a cloud of smoke.
"You guys really did good, now each of you takes an arm and a leg and go off and bury it deep somewhere. As the clones ran off with their gruesome cargo Jiraiya looked at the pieces of the torso at his feet. He tried a fire jutsu and it only browned the flesh a little before it returned to normal. Next was acid from another scroll and it didn't have much effect.
Kicking the pieces farther apart he called on Gamakichi, "Yo, what ya need.", asked Gamakichi being a smart alec, knowing that his father had just returned with some talking head and had one of the lesser minions take it to the caves of Hora Osore, he really hated the smell of those tar pits and was so glad his old man hadn't made him do it.
"I need you to take this to Tsunade.", said Jiraiya as he started to write on a scroll and once finished pulled out another scroll and sealed the pieces of the body in it. Handing both scrolls to Gamakichi.
"What's in it for me?", asked the large orange toad knowing his father wouldn't be happy if he did a job for free. Feeling around his vest Jiraiya found a scroll deep in one of the pockets that was a gateway to a pocket dimension he never told anybody about.
"Here, this contains a pile of snacks and candy, now get moving we don't want those pieces to do anything in that scroll.", said Jiraiya trying to get moving, he was worried about Naruto and the girls going against that murdering bastard Kakuzu.
With a wave and puff of smoke, Gamakichi was gone leaving Jiraiya alone wondering where those dam clones went and why they were taking so long. Taking his time to pick up the Triple-Bladed Scythe
from the ground and sealing it in with the Kubikiribōchō sword he started running down the road into the valley hoping everybody was alive. The plan they came up with should have worked as long as Naruto didn't do anything stupid, and with that thought, Jiraiya doubled his speed trying to get there in time to save his godson from himself.

As Karin and Tayuya helped Naruto walk over to the camp they had set up next to the tree line at the end of the valley they sat and watched Fu using her wings to fan the fire the clones continued to add pieces of Kakuzu onto the new wood. The smoke had been horrible and Fu decided to do something about it by blowing all the smoke away from the camp,.
"That girl has way too much energy for someone that just got beaten up by two of the Akatsuki.", said Tayuya leaning on Naruto again as Karin smiled at her. Tayuya knowing she lost the bet anyway was going to make the most of her Naruto time.
"It's her tailed beast, it fully healed her and is flooding her with chakra.", said Karin as she could clearly see the chakra flowing in and around the green-haired girl as she fluttered around in the air. "Then why the hell aren't you getting any better.", said Tayuya pulling back and looking at Naruto.
"The fox said he wouldn't heal me until I learned my lesson.", said Naruto, he was using a log of a tree as a backrest as he stretched out his legs hoping that the tingling that had turned into an itching burning feeling would soon go away.
"What lesson is that?", asked Karin as she sat next to Naruto using his log with him.
"He said to stop doing stupid things and learn to look before I jump.", said Naruto, "I just wish he would tell me what that meant."
Pushing herself away from Naruto Tayuya looked at him like he had two heads and was growing a third, sharing a look with Karin she let the other girl talk as swearing at Naruto had no real effect.
"What I think the fox is trying to tell you is that you have to think about what outcome you are going to achieve before you take an action. Like using an untested jutsu like the Rasenshuriken. Using a clone to deliver the final blow would have saved you a lot of pain.", said Karin in her most calm and reasonable voice.
"But it was so cool and it was supposed to fly out of my hand at the end.", said Naruto looking more like a child complaining about a new toy than the highly skilled shinobi that he was.
"Did it do that in practice?", ask Karin seeing that Tayuya was now walking away to see what Fu was up to. At least she hadn't yelled and screamed at Naruto this time around.
"Well you see that is the problem, I wasn't able to make it before, I tried, I really did but it always blew up before, so I figured a clone couldn't hold it together.", said Naruto but before Karin had a chance to question him more he got that faraway look he gets when some clones are dispelling and he is reviewing the memories.
"Wow that would work.", said Naruto more to himself than Karin.
"What?", she asked not wanting to wait for her to come around and tell her.
"My Alpha Squad clones are fighting Hidan and they came up with an idea to use a barrier seal around their bodies to protect them from a hit, it seemed to work for a while, they took a lot of hits from Hidan before the seal failed.", said Naruto. As he started to explain how it worked and what hand signs to use Tayuya wondered overhearing talk of a new jutsu that didn't blow your arm off when you use it.
In the middle of showing them the hand signs one more time he stopped and laughed before saying, "Jiraiya showed up and one-shot killed Hidan with a toad. My scout clones all just dispel, they watched the whole thing, Alpha Squad was able to hold Hidan until prevy sage go there. So cool!", laughing at the memories Naruto Hugged both girls to his side, at least Karin as she was on the left but Tayuya got the idea and fell into Naruto's right side. Dam fool had got to get the fox to fix that arm or wait for a couple of days for Karin to get her strength back.
They hear giggling in the air as Fu came flying over and lands on top of them all, "I want a hug too!,", the tanned green-haired girl cried out as she tried to hug them all at once. "Dammit get off me, you dam firefly girl.", cried out Tayuya as she rolled away leaving Naruto and Karin to take the full force of Fu's hug-no-jutsu.
"OK, OK, enough, you're breaking my arm.", said Naruto rolling Fu onto Karin who didn't seem to appreciate all the extra attention. Popping up like an overactive two-year-old on a sugar high Fu jumped off Karin and looked down at Naruto rubbing his arm all the while yelling at the fox in his gut to do something.
"I can help with that if you want?", said Fu standing over Naruto, when he looked up at the bouncing girl the first thing he noticed was she was hovering right over him and the second thing he notices was she was wearing a thong underwear under her very open fishnet shorts that ended halfway down her legs. 'At least she had good taste as they were bright orange to match her skin tone', was his only thought, seeing where his eyes had focused Karin elbowed him in the ribs and gave him the 'look' that meant he would have to talk about it later.
"What can you do?", asked Karin drawing the petite, tan-skinned kunoichi's attention to her and away from Naruto.
Landing back on the ground Fu brushed her hands down her short white apron skirt and pulled her hands to her chest to make some hand signs pushing her hands out she created a web of white filaments that spread out and around everyone.
As the threads covered them Fu took a deep breath and said, "HEAL", sending out a flow of healing chakra down the strands and into everyone encased in the white web. The two girls felt the healing energy flow into them restoring them back to full health as if they had just returned from a long vacation spent doing nothing.
Naruto felt the chakra flow into him and the fox was being an ass as he fought back at first still thinking Naruto had to learn more but Naruto could feel Chomie the seven-tail talking to the fox about something he couldn't hear until the fox pulled back into his cage and let the Chomei's chakra flow.
Letting out a groan of relief Naruto could feel life returning back to his arm and leg until he felt fully restored. "Wow, that's great, thank you Fu.", said Naruto jumping up and breaking the jutsu, as the delicate threads fell away and vanished he pulled Fu into a hug that she returned giving out a delightful squeal.
"Are you guys my friends now?", said Fu looking over Naruto's shoulder at the two redheads still sitting on the ground. "Of course, Right Tayuya, Karin, Fu is our newest friend.", said Naruto stepping back and helping them both to their feet.
Hearing she had three new friends Fu once again jumped on each of them to give them a hug. Tayuya, having had enough of this, walked away to get some alone time, 'what is it with touchy women', she thought going to help the clones build a bigger fire.
"We are heading back to our village, do you want us to take you to Takigakure before we go.", asked Naruto, always wanting to help a fellow Jinchuriki he didn't think to ask what the girls or even Jiraiya wanted to do, after all, they wanted to help Fu didn't they.
"The people of Takigakure aren't that nice, they never want to be my friend and now that Kakuzu killed Shibuki I don't really have anybody I want to go back to, can I stay with you?", Fu gave Naruto and Karin a giant smile and even created her wings and had them change into a rainbow of colors while she put her hands behind her back and tried her best to act like a weak little girl as she hovered off the ground.
Naruto's always had a soft heart for people that are lost in the world and the way Fu was looking at him other parts of him were getting a little on the less soft side of things but before he could answer Karin jumped in. "We are going back to Konohagakure to restart our clan, we won't have time to take care of you.", hoping that would get this little flirt to go home.
"That's ok, you don't have to take care of me, Shibuki always said I was a strong Uzumaki woman and can take care of myself.", said Fu trying to put on an even bigger smile.
"What the fuck did you say.", yelled Tayuya leaving the fire and running back to the group.
"That I can take care of myself.", said Fu with a sweet smile as she hovered over to face Tayuya. Not liking to look up at anybody and especially this girl that didn't know how to keep out of her personal space.
"Will you get down here.", said Tayuya pointing to the ground in front of her, as Fu landed and her wings vanished the two girls almost stood eye to eye, Fu still being a couple of inches taller than Tayuya.
"Who told you you're an Uzumaki? You don't look like an Uzumaki.", said Tayuya getting in Fu's face darning the other girl to calm she was part of the clan.
"Shibuki, the leader of our village said I was born an Uzumaki, that is why they made me the Jinchūriki of the Seven-Tails, Chōmei.", said Fu staring into Tayuya's brown eyes and grinning from ear to ear. She thought Tayuya was so cute when she got mad and red-faced like this, Fu just loved the fact that her new friends cared so much about her.
Looking to Karin for some guidance, knowing Naruto would believe anything anybody said Tayuya said, "Can you tell with your magic eye thingy if she is telling the truth."
"Based on her chakra she believes she is telling the truth but she could have been lied to about her birth.", said Karin
Turning her head a little to the side Fu looked between the two women and said, "Why does it matter if I am Uzumaki or not. I can take care of myself so you don't have to worry.", said Fu thinking they didn't want her anymore.
"We can have her tested when we get back,", said Naruto moving to stand face to face with the green-haired girl, "I am Naruto Uzumaki, this is Karin and Tayuya Uzumaki, we are rebuilding our clan, you are welcome to come with us." The shocked look on Fu's face was quickly replaced by a grin as she screamed and jumped into Naruto's arms and buried her face in his neck. "Family, I have a family,", they could hear her cry out as she started to cry into Naruto's neck.
"Oh great now we got another one.", said Tayuya as she moved to stand next to Karin. "I don't know about you but this is getting out of hand."
"If she is an Uzumaki, even half-blood like Naruto, it will make growing the clan all that easier.", said Karin, "But ya she is a bit too much like Naruto, and having two Jinchuriki in the clan will cause a lot of problems once the other villages find out."
"Dam Naruto you sure move fast.", yelled out Jiraiya as he came into view, he was happy to see that everyone was alive and seemed to be healthy, even the Takigakure Jinchuriki looked like she was unhurt.
Dropping Fu on her feet Naruto turned to Jiraiya and walked over to greet him with a high five as his clones had dispelled long ago telling him how the battle was won. "Nice use of Gamabunta against Hidan, chopping him up like that was really gross by the way."
"There is no way to kill a true believer of Jashin so it was the only way, by the way, whatever happen with the arms and legs your clones didn't come back.", asked Jiraiya worried that there were sentient body parts crawling around the forest.
"They used my tunnel seal trick to dig a hole a couple hundred feet into the ground and jumped in and released the seal. Nobody is going to find him and my Alpha Squad was able to die with Honor.", said Naruto slapping his fist to his chest in the Iwagakure salute.
Jiraiya patted Naruto on the shoulder as he walked by shaking his head, "Good job their kid but remember what village you're from OK."

The next day finds the company of Uzumaki clan members following behind the Toad Sage as they head northeast from Tea Country into Fire Country, still, on the peninsula, Jiraiya wanted to check in with one of his most trusted sources before turning true north and racing to Konohagakure. They currently were jumping from treetop to treetop looking for the eastern shore road with Naruto in a heated conversation with Jiraiya about how he created his latest jutsu, Fu found herself next to Tayuya with Karin close behind.
"What was all that noise in your tent last night?", asked Fu as she half jumped, half flew from tree to tree using her wings. "What the hell are you talking about.", said Tayuya not believing she was having this discussion, didn't this airhead know what was going on.
"You know, I could hear you and Karin all night, I thought you were having a fight or something with all that screaming.", said Fu, clearly not knowing what had been going on. Tayuya looked over at Karin who shook her head like she didn't want to talk about it either. Naruto had been full of energy last night and they did their best to keep up with him but by early morning it was clear they couldn't do it. Tayuya was beginning to wonder who this Sakura was that Naruto said could train him dry and keep asking for more.
"Do you know what sex is?", said Tayuya deciding that it would be best to be blunt. Fu had shown them quite quickly that she was as thick-headed if not more so than Naruto. Taking to the air and flying next to the two redheads Fu seems to be thinking about it.
"I have heard the word, you know a boy sex and a girl sex but what does that have to do with all the noise you made last night?", said Fu now flying sideways and looking at both of them. 'Oh fuck she doesn't know, was the only thing Tayuya could think. Turning to Karin she said, "As the medical shinobi and the want to be leader of the clan I think you need to explain it to her." Karin's face turned bright red to almost match her hair as she tried to come up with a way to explain this. She had been told by her mother and that didn't go so well as she had left out a lot of important parts.
"When we stop for lunch we can all talk about it, OK. It's a little hard to do while jumping between trees.", said Karin trying to buy some time.
"OK, sounds like fun.", said Fu flying up into the higher branches and then dropping down on Naruto's back giggling as she bounced off him. "We have to tell her before Naruto does, at this rate we may have our first tailed beasts mating.", said Tayuya not finding the idea funny either way you looked at it. Naruto having been thrown face-first into the ground jumped back up yelling at Fu as she flew away.
Near noon they found the eastern shore road and Jiraiya said if they hurry they can be at his sources location before sunset. Eating lunch on the run didn't give Karin the time or space she needed to talk to Fu and the green-haired girl seemed to have forgotten about it anyway.
"Come on sensei how much longer, I want to work on my Jutsu.", whined out Naruto as they continued to run down the dirt road that had widened out so much it could handle four charts side by side with room to spare. Topping a small hill and heading down the other side Jiraiya could see in the distance a long building that looked to be made of concrete with long stone steps leading up into it.
"There, that is where we are heading, it's a roadside rest stop with shops and restrooms where we can take showers but it also is the land of fire bounty station. It's a black market exchange point where bounty hunters collect the bounty on names from the Bingo Book. You do remember the Bingo Book don't you?", said Jiraiya
"Ya ya I know what the Bingo Book is.", said Naruto having been forced to read it dozens of times.
Stopping in front of the long stone stairs leading up into the main building Jiraiya turns to the group of young shinobi and says, "There are some shops over there where we can pick up some traveling supplies, and over there are public restrooms with showers in the back if you want to clean up." Jiraiya knew that would be a selling point for the girls as it's been a couple of days since they had taken the time to stop. Seeing Naruto looking over at the expansive open fields on the other side of the road he added, "Naruto, you can go train on your jutsu over in the field, just get far enough away that you don't destroy anything."
There are two things that make Naruto move without question, one is ramen, the food of the gods and the other is training, and with a new jutsu, that means he moved double-time leaving a trail of dust behind. The girls hearing showers and shopping took off almost as fast leaving Jiraiya alone as he walked into the main building.
Walking over to the information desk with its fliers of all the local attractions you can see in Fire Country this looked like any normal border crossing that a tourist would stop at for directions. Putting his hands down on the desk Jiraiya leaned over the countertop and said, "I am here to see Zangei." Jiraiya knew that Zangei was the real manager of the bounty exchange station and he had spent years building an amicable relationship with the man.
The man behind the counter started to look around and Jiraiya could see sweat forming on his face as he said, "Zangei is gone, those Konohagakure shinobi took him away a couple of weeks ago."
"What are you talking about.", said Jiraiya grabbing the man by the front of his shirt and pulling him over the counter. "Wait, wait, I can get you the new manager if you have a corpse to drop off.", said the man thinking Jiraiya was a bounty hunter.
Throwing him back into his chair Jiraiya said, "Ya do that.", not wanting to waste time with this underling, Zangei was a very careful man and he had to have done something extraordinarily stupid to get Tsunade to send people all this way down here to take him in for questioning.
Turning to the sound of a door opening Jiraiya face the new manager of the station, he was wearing a light gray cloak, with black buttons with a full beard, and a bald head. Holding out his hand he said, "I am Zangei's replacement, you can call me Yang." he said as he shook hands with Jiraiya.
"Tell me what happen to Zangei, I have been doing business with him for years.", said Jiraiya not wanting to give this Yang guy a chance to ask about any bounties.
"There was a fight between two Akatsuki members here a couple weeks ago with a team of shinobi from Konohagakure, Hidan killed their leader, and then they took off. The other shinobi showed up a couple days later and took Zangei in for question.", said Yang figuring everyone knew by now what had happened.
"Who was killed.", asked Jiraiya hoping it wasn't someone he knew, he has enough death in his life and doesn't need to add any more friends to the list of the dead.
"Not sure but it was there Jonin Sensei.", said Yang. The guy behind the counter coughed to get their attention and said, "It was a Jonin named Asuma. I heard the girl crying out his name when they took his body away."
'Fuck the old man's son, no wonder Tsunade moved on Zangei', thought Jiraiya.
"So Urkia said you have a bounty for me.". said Yang expecting Jiraiya to pull out a scroll with a body in it.
Always one to be prepared Jiraiya pulls out a scroll and hands it over to Yang. "This has Ryugain Sanqui of the Takumi village, he is worth 100,000 Ryo.", said Jiraiya as they exchanged the scroll for a bag of money. Yang knew as well as Jiraiya that if he was lying then a bounty would be put on Jiraiya's head.
Leaving the building Jiraiya could see in the distance Naruto blowing up trees, rocks, and anything else at the edge of the field trying to perfect his newest jutsu, the wind release rasenshuriken. Knowing the boy would take the news of the death of his friend's sensei badly he sat on the stone stairs and waited for Naruto to burn up all that extra chakra.

The girls all ran into the woman's restroom and finding the locker rooms with showers in the back all stripped down in the common area. Fu got a worried look on her face when she saw Karin's scars but a quick comment from Tayuya that they are from years ago calmed her down. This being a rest stop and not a spa it only had the common showers with no hot tub or even really hot water for the showers. Tayuya couldn't help but notice that Fu was completely hairless but for her green head of hair, she didn't even have any tan lines or the smallest scar on her body. The only good thing Tayuya found was that she had bigger breasts than the taller green-haired tan girl.
"You're so cute, like a little doll can I wash your back.", said Fu coming over to Tayuya with a sponge and a bar of soap. Karin giggled at the doll comment but didn't say anything as Fu, not one to wait started working on Tayuya's back.
"What is up with you.", said Tayuya enjoying the treatment but still not used to another woman touching her. "You like girls or something.", she said as Fu decided that she had to wash Tayuya's front as well as her back.
"I like everybody that is my friend. ", said Fu with her happy smile she worked a good lather in her hands and worked it all over Tayuya. "That is not what I mean, do you like girls or boys.", said Tayuya having had enough attention for one day and getting worried she was starting to like it a little too much pulled Fu up from where she had squatted down to wash Tayuya's legs.
"I like everyone that is my friend, did I do something wrong?", asked Fu not understanding what Tayuya was upset about. Spinning the green-haired girl around and pointing her at Karin she said, "Go help Karin, she is really dirty, we can talk later.", standing in the warm water to remove all the soap Tayuya watched Karin try to fight off the over-eager girl trying to help her 'friend' and failing miserably. Fu wanted to make sure that all that dirt was off of Karin and was taking her task very seriously. Karen was giving Tayuya that evil eye as Fu spent way too much time washing her butt before moving lower.
Sitting around the lockerroom drying off Tayuya figured this was as good a time as any and said, "So what do you know about where babies come from?" Getting a truly puzzled look from Fu. 'This was going to be a long afternoon of show and tell.' thought Tayuya as she pulled the towel off Karin so she could use her as a model.
