Chapter 56
Payback Time
At the Hokage's office Kakashi drops the clone Naruto into a chair in front of the Hokage, and steps to the side as the blonde girl made a show of fixing her clothes and using her hand to comb out the dirt from her hair.
"Care to explain yourself.", said the Hokage staring at the clone as she primped in the chair.
Letting out a loud shy as if she was being asked to move a mountain the clone crossed her arms over her overly large chest and pursed her lips.
"The boss figured if all the clones looked like girls the villages would feel sorry for us and get in the way of the root agents.", said the clone looking all the while like a spoiled brat, "And I think it was working until Kakashi Sensei got in the way."
"So the reports are true, root is running wild looking for Naruto?", said Tsunade
"Yes, it is most unyouthful and my team is searching for the real Naruto now.", said Guy with his sunshine smile.
"Tenten better keep her hands to herself, I am married now.", said the clone in her little girl voice.
Kakashi and Guy, I want you to join up with some of the real Anbu and start rounding up the root pretenders. Keep it quiet and don't start any big fights in the village, Do You Understand ME GUY!", said the Hokage as she stood up and pointed at the green beast of Konohagakure.
"Yes Hokage", yelled out Guy as he and Kakashi jumped out the window.
"As for you.", said Tsunade as she picked up a bottle off of her desk and bounced in the palm of her hand.
"I want you to go tell Naruto to get his ass back to the village, NOW!", yelled Tsunade as she threw the bottle at the clone's head dispersing the clone into a cloud of white smoke as the bottle embedded into the wall on the other side of the office.

Back at the hospital, Tayuya decided it would be best to pack up the baby and takes her home. Sakura ran over to the nurse's desk and got all the paperwork in order and Karen with Ino's help put together all the baby care products that had been placed in the room alone with the crib.
When Sakura walked back into the room she could see that everybody was ready to go. Handing over the paperwork to Karen she said, "Everything is ready but you still need to add the name of the baby to the birth certificate and file it at the Hokage's tower."
Tayuya looked over at Sakura and Ino as they stood to the side of the room waiting for them to leave when she seem to come to a decision, looking over to Karen as if to get her agreement she said,"I think you two should come with us to the compound, its not safe out there right now especially for you." Looking straight at Ino, everybody knew that root was still after her and her clan was to dispersed right now to protect her.
"Ok, that sounds like a good idea.", said Ino once she got a look of agreement from Sakura
"I think you need to name the baby before you leave.", said Sakura pointing at the paperwork in Karen's hand.
"Not going to happen, I am going to let Naruto name her, She is the first of the new generation and Naruto deserves to name her. We will name all the other ones won't we.", said Tayuya grinning at Karen knowing just how many were on the way.
Handing the bags over to Ino ,Karen says. "I have to stay at the hospital, I need to arrange for the procedure to transfer the fetuses to the surrogates."
"What are you talking about.", said Sakura having been out of the loop and not knowing about Karen's nine babies to be. Karen told her quickly the story of developing the jutsu to move the fetuses to the eight surrogates Ino helped her pick and she only needed the Hokage's to help.
On hearing about what she wants to do Sakura says, "Give me a day to rest and I will do it if master Tsunade is unable to get away to do it." After everything Sakura had done in the last twenty-four hours, Karen thought it would take more than a day or even two but she needed to get the surrogates ready anyway, this whole process was going to take some time it seemed.
Waving off the hovering nurses the four women leave the hospital and head for the Uzumaki compound. The village was in a uproar as dozens of female Naruto were running from roof top to roof top with root dressed as Anbu chasing them. It would be funny if not for the occasional jutsu that hit a clone and blasted her into a cloud of white smoke. Moving as quickly as they could they ran down to the bridge and crossed over to the Uchiha compound, fallowing the clan's wall they moved to the river edge and crossed though the Hyuga's construction site. It was the long way around but it was a route they hopped wasn't being watched by root.
Jumping over the fence into the road in front of the Uzumaki building they find about a hundred Yamanaka waiting for them.
As they walk up to the group a talk blonde haired man at least twice Ino's age walked up to her and drops to one knee. "We are hear to protect you, tell us what you need done.", said the leader of the group.
"What are you doing Samico, my farther is still the head of this clan and I will support him until he decides to step down.", said Ino addressing her cousin and all the others standing behind him. She knew them all and had shared with them what she thought were her dying thoughts.
"You know we could use some help guarding the area.", said Karen moving up behind Ino
Thinking about it for a moment Ino does her best to stand tall and pulls Samico to his feet saying."If you want to help then stand guard around the compound until order is restored by the Hokage."
Getting a smile from Samico and the others they walk into the Uzumaki building with its bright lights and red and orange floors. The Yamanaka moved to surround the building and some even ran down the street to set up a guard post.
Once up in the main apartment they found that the baby's room was far from ready as she came into the world weeks before she was planed, They had to all work to finish setting up the baby's room as Tayuya stood to the side giving out orders on were she wanted everything to go.
Putting together the crib, and setup up the changing table was the first order of business. The puzzle of pieces all seemed to not go together at first until Sakura started to read the instructions then it all started to make sense.
In the middle of it all the Hyuga cooks showed up and made everyone a late night meal as they were able to put the baby down for her first nights sleep in her new home. As they ate in exhausted silence each in her own thoughts Karen looked around the table before saying.
"This feels like a real family now that we have a baby in the house. Thank you for help.", she said to the two women at the end of the table.
"You don't need to thank us, you couldn't have stopped us from helping anyway.", joked Ino getting a laugh out of everyone at the table.
"There are three guest room down that hall, you can pick the one you want.", said Tayuya pointing at the hallway that ended at the master bedroom.
As the Hyuga cooks came back in to clear the table and bring out some tea for everyone there was a loud knotting at the front door.
One of the Hyuga came back and said that the Yamanaka front desk guard needed to speak with Sakura.
"Sorry to bother you so late at night but your mother is down in the lobby with a group of what looks like your family members, she will not leave until you come down and talk to her.", said the guard once Sakura opened the door.
Turning to Ino who had come out to see what was going on Sakura said to the guard, " Tell her I never want to speak to her again."
"Wait a minute, Sakura this family feud had got to end, she is your mother no matter what you think about her you have to make some type of peace.", said Ino stopping Sakura from walking back into the apartment.
"OK, FINE, but you stay here I don't want you pulled into this mess I call a family.", said Sakura as she went with the guard down into the lobby.
Once in the lobby, she finds her mother with her three aunts along with some uncles and cousins all from her mother's side. Each with the telltale pink hair that all Harumo share.
Bracing herself she walks out into the main room to face her mother.
"Can we go someplace to talk", says the older Harumo
"No this is where Ino is and this is where I am staying", said Sakura throwing her relationship with Ino in her mother's face no longer caring what her family thinks.
"is your loyalty to Ino or to the Uzumaki", says one of the uncles she hadn't seen for years.
"I am loyal to all my friends.", says Sakura not bothering to see who was talking
"It's more than that and you know it ." says her aunt Sakku her mother's youngest sister and the prettiest of the Harumo women.
"Sakku that is not how we planned this now let me speak to my daughter.", says Sakura's mother getting between her sister and daughter before it turned into a shouting match
As the family came around and built a wall of bodies around Sakura her mother comes in close so she could speak in hushed tones hoping that the shinobi in the room would not use any jutsu to overhear what she had to say.
"Sakura there is something that you have to know about the family, no the Nukekubi no Justu clan as we were once called." said Mebuki getting all of Sakura's attention
"Nukekubi? Why would people call us vampires?", said a very puzzled Sakura
That is what I am trying to tell you. In the warring clan days, our clan was almost completely destroyed as we had little skill in the ninja arts but we did have one skill, it's really our bloodline and our curse. We were hunted for using it and it almost wiped us out.
"Mother you are making no sense, if you're just trying to scare me into returning home you will have to do much better than this, I have seen things that would turn your hair white.", said Sakura
"I am sure you have but let me continue.", said Sakura's mother calming herself and checking that the rest of the family was still around.
"Back in the old days, the few survivors of a battle on our small village were found by the Uzumaki, they thought us weak and helpless and only wanted to protest us. We agreed to live with them on there islands and as our clan grew larger we were there maids, waiters and merchants but the truth were we were living off of them in more ways than one. You see Sakura our bloodline is to pull chakra from other people, it gives us strength for a short time yes, but it mostly gives us a feeling of euphoria that is so addicting once you start you can not stop.
The Uzumaki were the perfect host for us, there chakra was so strong and abundant that they almost never noticed what was happening to them. All we had to do was touch them for but a moment to quench our need. Then one day a great great grand farther of yours who was on a merchant trip to Konohagakure made a deal with a shinobi. A deal Sakura that we regret ever day, we were to all drain as much chakra from the Uzumaki as we could on a given night. The clan was to be paid handsomely for this and was told it was to humble the Uzumaki nothing more.
Greed is a powerful thing Sakura and add to that the strength of the chakra addiction and the clan went crazy that night. They drained as many Uzumaki as they could without thinking of any consequences, they only thought about there own greed and need for chakra.", said what Sakura now knew was the matriarch of her clan.
"But how could they, the Uzumaki had saved them?", said Sakura seeing where this was going.
"It is the family's shame Sakura and why I am telling you this now. The next day as the clan gathered to brag about what they had done Uzu no Kuni was attached. My grand mother told me that some ran, some fought beside the Uzumaki and other just hide waiting for the fighting to stop. Everyone knew the Uzumaki would win but we had done to much that night and half there forces were weaken beyond hope and died in the first wave of attaches.
By the third day those of the family that were still in Uzu ran to the shore and using our merchant ships tried to escape. It was then that we learned the true nature of the shinobi as the man , no the devil we had made a deal with was watching for us, not with bags of money as he had promised but with blade and shuriken.
Everyone ran into the forest but most died on that shore. Our branch of the family and those around you are survivors of that day. We swore never to use our bloodline again, and each generation has married outside of the clan in hope that the bloodline would fade into history.
But some like your great aunt and now you are born with the full force of the curse. That is why I tried so hard to stop you from being a shinobi, that is why I wanted you to stay away from Naruto. It's not the tailed beast he contains that made me hate him it was my own shame for what we had done.
Looking around at all the people she had grown up with calling them family she could now only see murderers and traitors. "no, no, no , NO!", yelled out Sakura as Inner started screaming in her head having broken free in her shock, The sound of Inner's pain was all Sakura could hear as she fell to her knees as tears ran down her face to puddle on the floor. She did not understand how her reflection was screaming back at her until she felt arms wrap around her shoulders and she was pulled into Ino's embrace.
"What have to you done to her?", screamed out Ino causing a dozen of her clansmen to come running into the lobby and pushing the gathered Harumo back away from there queen.
As she knelt on the cold red marble floor with a hysterical Sakura in her arms Ino had one thought and one thought only, 'Make them leave', she broadcast to her clansmen who quick forced the yelling Harumo out of the lobby.
"What did they say to you?", said Ino trying to break Sakura free but the small pink haired women had started to have body shaking sobs as she howled in pain at the idea she had done to Naruto what her clan had done to all of the Uzumaki. It was only the power of the tailed beast that had keep him alive.
Reaching into her mind Ino could only see chaos as images of a dead Naruto, Tayuya and even Karen flash back and forth between images of laughing with Naruto as they enjoyed there time together.
"what could that women have said to you.", said Ino knowing that Sakura was unable to answer. With some help from one of her clanswomen she picked up Sakura and got her on her feet so they could at least leave the lobby and return to the relative safety of the Uzumaki main apartment complex.
By the time the elevator reached the top of the building Sakura had calmed down enough so that Ino didn't have to so much as carry her but hold her upright as they walked down the wide hallway to the double doors. Just as they reached the bright red doors they flew open to reveal Karen and Tayuya who was holding her new born.
"What the fuck was that all about.", said Tayuya staring into Sakura's bloodshot eyes, having been called by the guards to report some type of fight going on in the lobby.
"Tayuya, please you have a child now, watch your language", said Karen
On seeing the two redheads Sakura dropped to her knees again and wrapped her arms around Karen's waist as she started crying all over again. Looking down at the pink hair and then back up to Ino Karen was at a lost.
"What is this all about.", said Karen pinned to the spot as Sakura wasn't letting go.
"I have no idea, I went down to see what was taking so long and I found her like this in front of her mother and more pinked haired Harumo then I have ever seen in one place.", said Ino as she reached down to pull Sakura off of Karen so they all could go into the main room and close the door.
Sitting down on the over stuffed sofa in the main room Tayuya went to put the baby to bed as Sakura once again fell into Karen's lap.
"Sorry, I am so Sorry, please forgive me.", cried out Sakura as Karen and Ino looked on wondering what was going on or worst what Sakura had done to ask for forgiveness.
"I can't forgive you if I don't know what you did.", said Karen bracing herself for some horrible story of Naruto's past.
"I will care for your children as if they are my own. Now and until my last day I will protect them all I swear it.", said Inner now taking control as Sakura rolled up into a ball in the back of her mind.
"While that is nice and I don't mind,", said Karen pausing to gather her thoughts. "But first shouldn't you tell me why this need for forgiveness.", added Karen being all logical and acting like the head of a clan. This seemed to break the spell Sakura was under and she sat up to look Karen in the eye blinking rapidly as Ino moved close and rubbed her back.
With Inner and Sakura fighting an internal battle for control Tayuya came walking back into the room and sat in a chair facing them. She seemed to look at all of this drama as one big joke and was enjoying it immensely.
Taking a deep breath Sakura pushed Inner back to the side and once again looked Karen and then Tayuya in the eye. Standing up she paced back and forth before turning to the ground.
"I need to just tell you what my mother confessed to and then you will understand.", said Sakura launching into the story her mother told her in as calm and controled manor as she could muster. At the end with new tears running down her cheeks she waited for the two redheads to throw her out of the building or worst.
"So you are a Pink Nukekubi. My mother used to tell me stories about them to keep me in bed.", said Tayuya still grinning at the whole thing.
Karen looked at Tayuya and nodded her head, "Yes my mother would do the same but she just called them the Chakra Nukekubi, can you elongate your neck or anything like in the stories"
"Wait a minute, aren't you mad at me and my family for what we did.", ask Sakura not really understanding what was going on.
"Oh don't be stupid, if we were mad at everyone that had a family member do something to one of our ancestors we would hate the world twice over.", said Tayuya getting up and walking into the other room to only return with a large book she had to carry in bother arms. Dropping it down with a loud thud she pointed at the cover.
"Stories of the Uzumaki", it read in bold type across the cover.
"This is a book I bought a couple of months ago, the old man selling it said it was only a bunch of stories written by some old fool but it reads more like a history book but there is one part near the end I think you want to hear.", said Tayuya opening the book to one of the last pages.
Reading from the book she said, "As the walls of the village fell along with many of the shinobi of the Uzumaki clan a cry could be heard coming from the village. It was the sound of hundreds of pink haired villages rushing into the breach of the main wall. With kitchen knifes and random swords they found on the battle field, they fought as if possessed each with the strength of ten warriors. It was heard that Ashina himself thanked them as they ran by. Their bravery only bought the village another day as the shinobi of Iwagakure and Kirigakure had sworn to destroy Konohagakure no matter what the cost."
Slapping the book closed Tayuya took her seat and waited for her words to sink in.
"Mother did say some of the family fought for the village.", said Sakura moving to take a seat next to Ino.
"Its sound like a lot more then a few Sakura, you should be proud.", said Ino trying to break the spell.
"So you still going to take care of my brats.", said a grinning Tayuya having over heard Sakura's oath of loyalty to Karen but a couple of minutes ago.
"Of course, if you will let me.", said Sakura knowing she would never allow herself to pass this bloodline curse onto any of her own children.
"Wait a minute, you said you would take care of my kids.", joked Ino as she hugged Sakura to her side.
"I guess I will have to open up a day care just for you guys.", said Sakura, holding Naruto's newborn daughter had turn on her maternal instinct, one that she had always assumed she didn't have.
….
As night fell and the wall of wind finally ended Naruto started to walk briskly to the village still dragging a beaten and bloody Danzo behind him. The new forest of trees from the blood of the first Hokage was still growing rapidly but either Danzo was out of blood or more likely he just healed enough to stop bleeding all over the ground.
About half way to the village he paused as the memories of talking to the Hokage came flooding back including the feeling of a bottle hitting his forehead with the strength of the Hokage behind it.
"Looks like Ba-Chan is pissed off at me again.", said Naruto to unconscious Danzo on the ground.
Picking up the broken body of the old man Naruto broke into a jog that quickly turned into a full out run as he headed back to the village. Now with proof of what Danzo had done and was still doing to the village and the Uchiha clan he was sure everything would work out.
….
"Ba-Chan what are you doing,", cried out Naruto as the iron bars slammed in his face. He was deep underground beneath the Hokage tower, in a prison cell he didn't even know the Hokage had. Lined with endless seals he felt his chakra being suppressed and knew he couldn't make an academy clone at this point.
"I told you, this is for your own good until I can get to the bottom of this. The civilian council is screaming for your head at least this way I can tell them you're contained.", said Tsunade as she personally turned the key in the lock and activated the last set of seals.
"How long you planing on keeping me down here.", said Naruto as he paced back and forth in front of the glowing iron bars.
"I couple of days at most.", said the Hokage as she walked away from the cell door and headed back up to her office. Her medial team was working on Danzo and they said he would live but they also said that he would never walk or use jutsu again. As for the arm and the implanted Uchiha eyes, that was something she would personally remove after asking Itachi what she wanted to do with them.
Deep in thought Tsunade didn't hear Naruto scream out to contact his wives.
….
The next morning was a whirl wind of action as Karen got up as soon as the sun lightened the sky and ran down to the lower apartments to get all the volunteer surrogates up and moving to the hospital. She paused at the guest bedroom door and banded on it.
"Come on Sakura, get up, its time to get moving", yelled out Karen as headed for the door.
Sakura pulled herself out if Ino's embrace and ran to the shower before getting dressed and with a quick kiss to Ino's cheek ran out to hopefully found the Hokage at the tower this early in the morning. Bursting into the Hokage's office she found Tsunade at her desk, she looked like she had been there all night with the ink stains on her elbow and the pile of paperwork in the Out box on her desk.
"What are you doing here so early.", said Tsunade putting her pen down and pushing back from the desk.
"Karen said today was the day you would be doing the transfer of the fetuses to the surrogates.", said Sakura still trying to catch her breath from running all the way from the Uzumaki compound.
"Dam, that is today, have you had a chance to go over the procedure?", asked Tsunade getting up and moving around her desk putting on her white coat she pulled off the back of her chair.
"Yes Master Tsunade.", said Sakura following the Hokage out the door and almost running after her as she headed for the hospital.
"Good, I am going to need some help monitoring all the fetuses as they move through the process.", said Tsunade stopping at the front door of the hospital and turning to face Sakura who almost ran into her chest as she had stopped so fast.
"This isn't a time for any of your games, I need you to totally focus today.", said Tsunade
"I swear no games.", said Sakura knowing now wasn't the time to get into her family history. That was a story she would share with the Hokage over one of her extra large bottles of sake.

It was near noon by the time they got everybody at the hospital, getting the eight women to jump out of bed to start there jobs as surrogates took Karen a lot longer then she expected. Once all the nurses and rooms were ready they wheeled everybody into the largest circular operation room they had, with machinery around the walls, seals draw on the floor and walls with bright lights hanging from the ceiling it looked like a nightmare and a movie set had crashed together.
It was a long draw out process that lasted late into the night everyone was so focus they lost track of time. It wasn't until Tayuya showed up at Karen's bedside that they even noticed how late it really was.
"You feeling OK?", asked Tayuya watching Karen's every move as she laid on the bed with all the white sheets pulled up to her neck to cover her scars. Looking over to the other side she found Sakura passed out in the chair next to the bed having stayed by Karen's side the whole time.
"Yes, I am feeling good. I am sore in some strange places and for some reason my breasts got larger.", laughed Karen
"Good, now were is Naruto?", asked Tayuya expecting him to be bouncing around the room or at least checking in on all the other women.
"Oh god, I totally forget to ask the Hokage.", said Karen knowing the Tsunade had left for home hours before and made it very clear to leave her be as she needed sleep.
"For fucking sake why the hell didn't you ask, do you at least know if he is fucking alive.", said a pissed off Tayuya
Looking over at Sakura Karen said, "If he was dead you know Sakura would have exploded with how connected she is to him. The parasite can't live long without its host, we just have find him is all."
Picking up the baby carrier Tayuya headed for the door, before turning around and looking at the passed out Sakura, "Dam sister that was harsh even by my standards, I'm leaving this up to you. Fix It", she said almost slamming the door on her way out then stopped herself as she didn't want to deal with a screaming baby.

The next morning after getting the all clear from the doctors and Sakura, Karen headed straight to the Hokage's tower. Sakura had to stay behind as some of the women were experiencing reactions from the sudden change in there bodies. Going from not pregnant to six weeks pregnant in the span of 24 hours had them going though all of the accumulated morning sickness, with the aches and pains that come with it. Lucky for Karen she had chosen wisely as they were all young strong women.
As for Karen she felt like the weight of the world had been taken off her back and almost ran up the stairs to the Hokage's office. Bursting into the outer office she walked up to the Hokage's personal assistant's desk and tapped on the table top to get the women's attention.
"I need to see the Hokage, this is Uzumaki Clan business.", said Karen cutting to the chase and not expecting to have to wait to long.
The dark haired women looked over the top of her glasses at Karen for a full 5 seconds before picking up a piece of page and holding it in front of her face. Clearing her throat she read it aloud.
"IF any of those Uzumaki women show up tell them he is alive and to go away, Now!", she did a good impression of the Hokage especially near the end but Karen wasn't having any of it.
"I need to speak with her,", said Karen walking around the desk and heading for the door, she hadn't taken more then three steps when she found herself on the floor with the ex- Anbu caption sitting on her back.
"We can do this the hard way or the easy way but you are not entering the Hokage's office until she calls for you.", said Askie the newest assistant as Shizune had decided to spend her time working at the children's hospital
Karen though about it for a moment and knowing Tsunade had more then one Anbu guard she said, "OK, I will leave but this is not the last of this, now get off me."
Askie moved off Karen but still placed herself between the pissed off redhead and the Hokage's door until Karen turned around and went back down the long stairs to the street. Now how does she tell Tayuya about this without that little bitch turning this into a world war.
Thinking that time is her friend Karen heads back to the hospital, maybe Sakura could get in to see her own master and find out what is going on with Naruto.
Once in the hospital it didn't take long for Karen to find Sakura as she stood at the bedside of one of the surrogates watching her drink some blue liquid before taking the glass away and walking out into the hall.
"Hi Karen, how you feeling,", said Sakura figuring the only reason Karen would be back to the hospital so soon was she wasn't feeling to good.
"I am fine, I need to talk to you.", said Karen walking to the end of the hall into a small kitchen were Sakura left the tray and glass she was carrying. Turning to face Karen, Sakura gave her a once over to make sure everything was really fine before she nodded and leaned back against the counter top waiting for Karen to continue.
"Its Naruto, the Hokage will not tell me what happen to him and I thought you could go talk to her for me.", said Karen
"I can try but me and master Tsunade are not on the best of terms after she found out I almost killed Sai forcing him to fly me here.", said Sakura with a sideways smile showing that she really didn't care what happen to Sai as long as she got to Ino on time.
"Why don't you go wait for me at that tea house you and Tayuya seem to like so much and I will meet you there after I talk to the Hokage.", said Sakura
Agreeing to the plan Karen took her time walking to the coffee shop, she picked up some fresh fruits for Tayuya that she knew she liked and finding a table on the outside patio she ordered a piece of cake with some green tea.
It hadn't been longer then an hour maybe less when she spotted Sakura walking down the street toward her. As she grew closer Karen noticed something wasn't right with Sakura and the closer she got the more details she could see.
For starters Sakura's hair was missing its ribbon and was a complete mess with what looked like leafs and sticks in it, the side of her red dress was covered in dirt and what looked like a little blood and to top it off Karen noticed that she was missing one of her sandals.
"What happen to you?", asked Karen as Sakura sat down and waved the waiter over to order a large ice tea.
"Well it seems Naruto did something that really pissed off the old lady. As soon as I said his name she grabbed me and threw me out the window. A closed window I should add.", said Sakura
Taking a long drink from the tea as it was placed on the table Sakura gave out a little laugh and said, "You know the knoichi park, the one with the little pond.", getting a nob from Karen as she realized that pond was nearly a mile from the Hokage's tower.
"Well it seems Tsunade has been practicing and if it wasn't for the trees slowing my fall I would have landed in the middle not on the mud flat next to it.", said Sakura finishing her drink and waving for another one.
"Are you OK,", said a worried Karen
"It's no worst then the training she puts me though, I just wasn't expecting it was all.", grinned Sakura as she pulled a leaf from her hair and dropped it on the table.
"I guess you don't know were Naruto is then.", said Karen getting back to the whole point of going to the Hokage's office.
"Nope, not a clue, only that he was and is an idiot for what he did. At least that is what she said as I went though the window.", said Sakura now with a nice little pile of sticks and leaves on the table.
"Now what can we do, Tayuya will kill me if I tell her I don't know were he is and then she will go down to the Hokage's office herself and you know that will not end well.", said Karen getting a smile on her face thinking about a muddy and wet Tayuya dragging herself out of the Knoichi pond.
"You know of that dango shop around the corner. I think I know someone that likes to hang out there that can help us. Someone that doesn't like following the rules and wants to get her hands on Naruto.", said Sakura.
Walking into the Dango shop it didn't take long to spot there target as she was throwing dango sticks into the back of a chair spelling out the word ASS behind the unsuspecting Chunin that dared comment on her hair style.
"Hi Anko, can we join you.", said Sakura all grins and hoping the tokubetsu jōnin wasn't still mad at her about what happen two years ago at the stadium locker rooms.
"Well look what we have here, isn't it the flat chested little cock thief. I hear you play for the other side now, what he wasn't good enough for you.", joked out Anko loudly for all to hear.
Before Sakura had a chance to take the bait and start a useless fight Karen sat down across from Anko pulling Sakura down to sit beside her.
"I need your help.", said Karen
"And why would I want to help one of Orochimaru's little helpers. I should gut you now and save us all the trouble you will make in the future.", said Anko
"I am sure you know but I am Naruto's wife and am as loyal to this village as he is.", said Karen
"Ya ya, I know, you and that other Orochimaru bitch seemed to have little Naruto wrapped around your finger.", said Anko still trying to push Karen's buttons as she tested just how loyal she really was.
Sliding over until she was next to Anko Sakura spoke so only Anko could hear, "We need help finding Naruto. The Hokage won't tell us anything."
"Well that is because the civilians want him dead for treason and what is left of root just wants him dead.", said Anko knowing that the combined forces of Kakashi and Guy had reduced root down to its ugly core
"So you know where he is.", asked Karen
"No but I know what he did, that boy sure had balls, he beat Danzo almost to death and then destroyed his chakra network.", said Anko picking up another row of dango and started in on the first one.
"Danzo still alive?", said Sakura remembering the feeling of the Kyubbi chakra as Naruto went on his rampage.
"He is breathing but that is about it. The old lady is trying to find a way around the civilian leadership but unless the Daimyo gets involved she is running out of options.", said Anko finishing her dango
"We need to find him, free him if we must.", said Karen wondering just how much power she had over the clans at this point. They had all agreed to let her lead at some point but was that point now. She didn't want to find out the hard way that this was one step to far to quickly for her to take.
"Sounds to me like you have a problem, good luck with that.", said Anko starting to leave the table, she had some Chunin to terrorize at training ground four.
"What would it take to get you to help us.", said Karen
"I don't need your money.", said Anko heading out into the street with the two women following her.
Running ahead and getting in front of the Anko to stare into her light brown, pupil-less eyes. Now with Karen's red eyes blasting into her Anko paused to see what she had to say.
"If its not money, than what do you want.", said Karen now staring eye to eye and almost chest to chest with the tokubetsu Jonin.
Looking over at Sakura who had come up to stand next to Karen, Anko pulled the Dango stick out of her mouth and threw it to the side with a giant grin, putting her hands on her hips causing her overcoat to open showing off her custom-made outfit that is made of thin metal mesh that covers her from neck to thigh to fit the lines of her body,. Over this, she was wearing a tan overcoat with a purple in-seam and a pocket on each side, that looked like they still had Dango in them. She had on a dark orange mini-skirt, a dark blue belt, and pale gray shin guards. All in all she was much more dressed then the last time Sakura had gotten a good look at her.
"I want what was taken from me,", grinned Anko now looking at Sakura
"I didn't take what was never yours to begin with.", shot back Sakura remembering that day clearly
"What are you to talking about.", asked Karen thinking they had some old argument they never settled.
"Naruto, I want my night with Naruto that this pinked haired little bitch took from me.", said Anko letting out years of frustration over what could have been.
Not even blinking at the idea as she had heard it many times before Karen took a deep calming breath and said, "Then we have to talk to the first wife, she will decide.", and with that Karen spun around and started to march toward the Uzumaki compound with Anko and Sakura close behind.
Marching across the village, down the river and up the six floors to the main apartment complex in total silence the three women entered the main room. Leaving Sakura and Anko on their own Karen went looking for Tayuya too bring her up to speed on what was going on with Naruto.
Walking over to the main balcony Anko looked down at the Hyuga construction site as they continued to build there warehouses on the rivers shore. It was clear they had enjoyed knocking down the Uchiha buildings as she could see what remained of targets they had painted on the walls in the large pile of scrap wood to the side. The new dividing wall between the Uchiha clan grounds and the new Hyuga lands ended not one inch over the Uzumaki border as Naruto had made a point at one time he didn't want anything between him and his friends.
"So I hear you want to fuck my husband.", said a loud voice behind her, if it wasn't for all the training with Orochimaru Anko would have jumped around in surprise.
"You could say that, I just want my due,", said Anko more then a little impressed by the little redhead that was able to sneak up on her.
"We are not talking about Dango here, Naruto has feelings.", said Sakura defending her friend and teammate. This was just not fair in her eyes and the thought of Anko getting her hands on Naruto bothered her more then any other women would have.
"Sakura, please this is clan business.", said Karen wanting to lay this fully on Tayuya's shoulders, if things went south she would hold this over Tayuya's head for the rest of her life.
"Sakura has a point but I think our little pet Nukekubi has her own reasons.", said Tayuya as she walked off the balcony and back into the main room. Ignoring the look of betrayal Sakura gave her she turned to face Anko, she gave the tokubetsu Jonin a once over as if judging if she was worthy of Naruto.
"You're not a Uzumaki nor a holder of a special blood line that can save you. What makes you think you can handle not only a adult Uzumaki but a Jinchuriki.", said Tayuya, now Karen knew she was making a show of it but decided to let her have her fun. After all she hadn't slept in the last two days with the baby screaming at all hours of the night and Naruto being missing.

Not knowing Anko full history Tayuya paused for a moment to think before saying, "If that is true then I guess you could deal with Naruto for one night, but you have to find him first."
As Anko pulled back grinning and Sakura stormed off into the kitchen before she said something to start a fight Karen stepped in to say, "That is if you free him, after all what's worth is finding him if he is to be jailed or worst."
"Don't worry about that, the old lady has to big of a soft spot for anything to happen but we do need to move fast as what is left of root is on a suicide mission to avenge Danzo.", said Anko as she turned to the door and headed out on her new mission.
"I got a lot of friends in Anbu, I am sure one of them will tell me where he is once I give them a taste of this,", said Anko slapping her own ass, that was the last thing they heard before Anko walked out of the apartment to the sound of breaking glass as Sakura punched the counter top and the baby started crying.
"God dam fucking pink bitch I just got her to go to sleep,", said Tayuya heading to the kitchen to do something she may regret later.
Karen stopped Tayuya on her quest and said, "You check the baby I will take Sakura out and have a little talk with her."

Secluded, that was the only word Naruto could think of that best described his situation. Its been 4 or 5 days in this hell hole of a jail cell with two meals a day delivered by a soulless Anbu that wouldn't even tell him what day it was.
Four steps to the left, turn right, six steps to the back and then repeat. It was the only thing he could do in this small cell besides sleep and even that wasn't easy with how sexually frustrated he was after that fight with Danzo. With the Chakra suppression seals all around him he felt like he was going to explode but couldn't.

Grabbing the bars in both hands he tried one more time to pull them out of the wall but with the same results as the last thousand times he tried it he gave up and walked back to his little bed and sat down.
"I thought you were going to do it there for a second.", said Anko as she seemed to slide into the room out of the shadows.
Jumping to his feet Naruto ran over to the bars and once again tried to pull them apart.
"Come on help me get out if here.", said Naruto staring at Anko as she walked over to the other side of the jail cell.
Anko took her time looking at all the seals and then at the bars as they seemed to flow into the floor and walls as if they had been burned into the stone. More likely then not they had been as she couldn't see any sign of tool work on any of the connections.
Standing back she tried a couple of hand signs that caused two large snakes to flow out of her overcoat's arm wholes but as soon as they touched the iron bars them burst into smoke to return to there summoning lands.
"Seems like they really want to keep you in there kid.", said Anko as she walked up to the bars to press her large chest into the cold steel getting a wide eyed look from Naruto as her breast pushed there way into his side of the bars.

"Anko go wait in my office, I have a special mission for you.", said Shikamaru with half a grin on his face knowing she just loved going to Frost Country this time of year.
As Anko bowed and ran out of the room Naruto looked at the Hokage as the cell door wasn't closed as she left. Figuring this was his chance to "Talk" his way out he stood up and walked out grinning at everyone in the room.
"Don't even start, I need you to come to my office, things are happening and you need to be ready for them.", said Tsunade as she turned and walked out of the room with everyone dutifully following behind. Walking down the long hall Shizune used a medical jutsu to scan Naruto as if looking for any signs of injury or foreign chakra.
Entering her office and taking her place behind the desk Tsunade looked over at Shizune who says, "He is free of any genutsu or implanted chakra Master."
"Good, Call them in.", said Tsunade as Shizune gave Naruto a little smile as she turned and touched him on the shoulder as she walked by to open the door.
In the outer office Shizune found Tayuya and Karen waiting with a bundle of Naruto's cloths they had been asked to bring to the office. Walking in Tayuya didn't even pause as she ran over and jumped into Naruto's arms and giving him a long kiss before letting him put her back on her feet.
Karen was a little more reserved but still got in her own kiss once Tayuya moved to the side.
Grinning and holding both of his wives Naruto looked like a man with not a worry in the world as he asked, "Where is the baby?"
"Sakura is baby sitting, she has been staying at our place for the last five days. I can't beleave how good she is with kids.", said Karen

"OK, enough of this domesticated housewife talk, we are ninjas, don't forget that.", said Tsunade waving Shikamaru forward to give his report to all of them.
"The border guards have reported that there is a large caravan coming to the village and it is flying the banner of the Daimyo. It will be here in a couple of hours", said Shikamaru handing a scroll to the Hokage that one of the twelve guardian ninja had brought to the gate.
"How the hell did he get so close without you knowing about it.", said Tayuya still not leaving Naruto's side.
"The Daimyo is traveling with all twelve of the Guardian Ninja, they are the best we have and know all the ways to get to the village using genutsu to be undetected.", said Shikamaru having trained most of them himself he was proud of the skill they are showing even as he was thinking of ways to prevent this from ever happening again.
Dropping the scroll onto the desk she was reading Tsunade took the time to look at everyone in the room before speaking. The scroll had been clear and was signed using the seal of the Daimyo himself not some bureaucratic functionary as most scroll are.
"I need you to clean up and change into some clean scrolls, the Daimyo has ordered that you be brought to him.", said Tsunade to the still grinning Naruto.
"You can use the Hokage's bathroom to clean up and change we don't have time so get moving.", said Tsunade pointing to a hidden door to her personal bathroom with a modest shower.
As Naruto picked up the bag of cloths Karen had dropped on the floor when she first walked in, he entered the small bathroom. Once they all heard the sound of a shower running Tayuya leaned over the Hokage's desk.
"What is going on.", said Tayuya tapping on the scroll laid out on the desk, she had read it once Tsunade had put it on the desk, even upside down and partly rolled up she had been able to read most of it.
"What is this about chains and unacceptable behavior.", said Tayuya this time picking up the scroll and handing it over to Karen to fully read.
"It looks like the civilian council was able to get a message to the Daimyo as soon as Naruto dragged Danzo back into the village. The Daimyo thinks Naruto has gone rogue or worst.", said Tsunade knowing it was going to take all of Naruto's luck and her best diplomatic skills to keep him live and out of jail.
"Listen, I need you two to keep him calm and your mouths shut until I get a chance to talk to the Daimyo, do you understand me.", said the Hokage rising up from her chair to look down on the two redheads. Getting there agreements they all waited for Naruto to come out and with a little persuasion got him to except two Anbu putting him in leg and arm chains.

It was rare, almost unheard of that the Daimyo was coming to the village. It hadn't happen in the last 50 years. With word being spread that he was coming the villages began to gather at the main gate. Most of not all of them had never seen the Daimyo in person and knew that this could be there only chance in there life time.
As the carriages grew nearer the gates they were pushed opened wide as the crowd grew larger and larger with some even standing on the roof tops and at the top of the village wall itself.
A cry went though the crowd as the first of the brightly painted and beautifully lacquered royal carriage moved though the great grates and into the large open area at its base.
The Twelve Guardian Ninja appear and push the crowd back to make room for the half a dozen royal carriages that are carrying the Daimyo and his royal entourage.
The Hokage comes out of her tower with Naruto in tow, he wives are right behind them as they try to think of a plan of action if this thing all goes completely south. Seeing Ino and some of the other clan heirs Karen whispers into Tayuya's ear and runs over to talk to them. Soon all the great clan heirs are in a circle around Karen, all but for Hinata who had yet returned from her mission to the sand village.
Moving into the crowd it parts before her as if there is a invisible wall of force pushing them back, the Hokage reaches the front stands waits for the procession to stop.
As the royal carriage stops in front of the Hokage the door is opened and a small set of stairs is lowered to allow the Daimyo to walk out. A rug of the best silk is places on the ground at the end of the stairs so the Daimyo's pure white slippers would not touch the ground.
The Hokage bows to the Daimyo and walks up to him.
"Welcome my lord, this visit is unexpected. You should have sent word ahead so we could prepare a welcome for you.", said Tsunade taking a chance to show her displeasure.
"I have heard rumors that the village is getting out of control and had to come to see for myself.", said the Daimyo not even acknowledging her request.
Before Tsunade could respond cries and shouts could be heard from behind the crowd and then a team of root members pushing a wheel chair force there way to the front. Wheeling the chair over to the Daimyo everyone could see Danzo sitting in the chair with his one eye blasting and his hands shaking as he held himself upright.
"Yes, The village is out of control.", yelled out Danzo wheeling himself up to the edge of the silk rug so that he could look directly into the face of the Daimyo.
Reaching up with one shaking hand Danzo pulls off the bandages from around his right eye slowing to the world a bright red and very active Sharingan.
"Kotoamatsukami", said Danzo under his breath causing the jutsu to overwhelm the Daimyo Kotoamatsukami is regarded as a Genjutsu of the highest caliber, due to the victim being entirely unaware that they are being manipulated and the Daimyo was looking directly into Danzo's eye.
The Daimyo looked away from Danzo and scanned the crowd of people before him before settling on Tsunade. Pointing a jewel-covered hand at her he yelled out.
"Traitor, you are all traitors. Guards, guards put them all in prison. No, I order you to kill them all.", screamed the Daimyo jumping onto the stairs to his royal carriage. All he could see were demons and traitors not the happy smiling faces of the villages he was looking at but a moment ago.
"Danzo, I make you the Hokage and order you to take care of this village of traitors.", yelled the Daimyo pointing a clearly shaking hand at the crippled old man in the rickety wheelchair.
As the crowd yelled and screamed expecting the twelve guardians to move against the Hokage they all fell silent as another Daimyo came walking out from behind the royal carriage with a true princess on his arm. Such a woman of beauty was rare to see with the most perfect of silks and the outline of a body of a goddess. With her face covered in beads and silk, everyone was wondering who of the royal family this was.
"See my lord, that man can not be trusted.", said the princess lifting up a perfectly jeweled hand and pointing at Danzo.
"Yes you were right to test him.", said the real Daimyo as he waved his hand at the man on the carriage steps and one of the twelve guardians appeared. Moving to face the man on the stairs the ninja made the hand signs to break the Genutsu to reveal the robes of the Daimyo on one of his most trusted advisors. As the guardian broke the genutsu and pulled him down from the stairs the now false Daimyo started screaming, "Kill them, Kill them ALL", could be heard by everyone in the crowd as he was dragged away to live his life thinking he was the true Daimyo until his dying days.
Walking over to the Hokage that was more than a little shaken by the idea that the Daimyo would order her killed she bowed again to the true leader of fire country before asking.
"How did you know.", asked Tsunade pointing to Danzo as he was restrained and both of his eyes covered. His root members had been
"I was warned not to trust Danzo and we came up with a test.", said the Daimyo nodding to the woman on his arm.
"What are we to do with him.", asked Shikamaru Nara the Jonin commander
The Daimyo seemed to think for but a second before looking to the commander and saying, "He is a traitor and attracted me. The punishment is Death to him and all his follower."
"What of the civilian council.", added Shikamaru wanting to know just how far he was allowed to go in cleaning the village of Danzo's madness.
"Remove them from power and do with them as you think fit. It is time as my dear friend has told me to return to the old ways now that all the clans of Konohagakure have returned. ', said the Daimyo once again smiling at the woman on his arm.
The princess tilted her head down and whispered in the Daimyo's ear causing him to smile and look over behind Tsunade.
"I think you can remove those chains from that wonderful young man over there.", said the Daimyo pointing to Naruto still standing between the two Anbu guards.

This was a pain to write and it will be a pain in the next Arc of this story. Pun intended.
