Kakashi looked around training ground 7 shaking his head at the total destruction he found. Walking around craters that could swallow a small house to burning tree stumps that seemed to have a black flame at their core he couldn't find a living thing within eyesight. Not a plant or animal was left living in this hellscape. He hadn't seen anything like this since the end of the last shinobi world war. The Hokage was going to have a field day sending teams of Genin out here to fit it.
Reaching the river that divided training ground 7 from 8 all he could see was more of the same as he took out his little orange book to re-read his favorite chapter as he slowly walked over the bubbling river until he set foot on the sandy shore. At least on this side, the damage seemed to be limited to smashed trees and not-so-large fissures that emanated from fist-sized holes.
He found Sasuke first leaning back against a log breathing heave but still alive with a broken sword laying across his lap. When he spotted Kakashi he waved him over and then pointed toward a hillside a hundred yards away where Kakashi could clearly see a human-shaped hole but it was so deep he could see anybody at the bottom.
"Hey, anybody alive in there.", yelled out Kakashi trying not to laugh as he waited for some type of response. He didn't have to wait long as a leather glove-covered hand reached out and grabbing the edge of the hole he watched as Sakura pulled herself out.
Surprised at this Kakashi looked around before asking the little pink-haired girl as she brushed all the dirt out of her hair. "Where is Naruto?", said Kakashi
Looking up at Kakashi Sakura moved her tongue around her mouth and finally spit out a rock so it bounced off of his little book before saying, "Back there,", said Sakura pointing with her thumb over her shoulder. Not sure if she meant over the hill or in the hole Kakashi walked around the hill to find an exit hole and a line of broken trees that lead him to a grinning Naruto sitting on the ground.
"What's so funny.", said Kakashi hoping Sakura didn't knock his brains loose or something worst.
"I got her Kakashi Sensei,", said Naruto pointing at the hill with the hole, and that is when Kakashi noticed all the trees had fallen away from Naruto showing a clear sign something or more likely someone was thrown into the hill.
"OK, well playtime is over, the Hokage wants to see you now.", said Kakashi not really wanting to know what happen now that he found all of his team alive. That was all that really mattered to him, how they settled their internal team dynamics was up to them.

Team seven stood in front of the Hokage's desk dripping dirt and some body fluids on the floor waiting for the Hokage to finish reading a report that was just handed to her. It had something to do with them as she had told them not to move a muscle until she was done reading.
Sasuke was glaring at the psycho bitch standing to his right and then over to the bubbling fool on his left, they both deserved each other and he was glad they were on his team. If only Sakura hadn't broken his training sword, it was his father's sword and now he would have to go back into the Uchiha's armory to find a replacement. Luck for him he had a lot to choose from.
Sakura had yet to drop that silly grin off her face, she had stood toe-to-toe with both of them and they hadn't come out on top, at least not this time. Only Naruto's Rasengan had slowed her down having blasted her into that dam hillside, her newest jutsu of a chakra barrier of a thousand moons had blocked his ball of chakra but it cost her every little piece of chakra she had 'borrowed' from her mornings back rubs with his wives.
Naruto for his part was bouncing on his heels happy to have his team together. He was looking forward to getting out on a mission with them and showing the world what team seven could do.
Dropping the scroll to her desk Tsunade slammed her palm onto the wooden top to get their attention, these three airheads were about to be sent on a mission she should be using Anbu for but that would cause an international incident she didn't want to deal with right now.
"I have a report from team ten, they reached Kumogakure no Satoto pick up the shinobi they needed to escort but they hit a little snag. It seems someone and I mean the Akatsuki had kidnapped Nii Yugito. The Raikage has sent every available shinobi out looking for her but Shikamaru thinks the Akatsuki are headed for the border of Fire country. If he is right then they have a hidden base out there that you three are going to find it.", said the Hokage waiting for the reactions from one of them.
"Nil Yugito? Who is that?", said Sasuke being the first to speak.
"The two tailJinchūriki,", said Naruto, as he had made it his mission to at least know the names of all the other Jinchuriki.
"What is the two tails?", said Sasuke again not caring that much
"A big blue cat with two tails.", said Naruto still grinning
"Nice, I like cats.", said Sasuke getting everyone in the room to look at him, this is the first time anyone can remember him saying he liked something. Maybe he needs to go to the hospital to have his head checked.
Turning her wide-eyed stare away from the talkative Sasuke, Sakura looked at the Hokage and said, "So when do we leave?", she pulled a leaf from her hair as if to give the Hokage a hint that they needed some time to clean up and get ready.
Tsunade looked at the three covered in blood and mud, she knew they played hard but she had heard reports from all over the village this time. Crossing her arms over her large chest she leaned back into her chair, "OK, you have 4 hours to go and get cleaned up. I will have the logistics and tactical department put together your travel supplies and meet you at the main gate. This isn't going to be some smash-and-grab. You hear me.".
"Yes Hokage,", they all said as one knowing it was more like a smash, slash, punch, and explode mission they all got a grin on their face, even Sasuke seemed to move his lips up in an almost smile. "Ya, he needs to get his head checked.', was all Sakura thought as they all ran home.

Walking into his penthouse apartment still felt new and exciting to Naruto. With Sakura on his heels, he walked in and hearing voices went to the main living room to see who was making all the noise. Coming around the corner he stopped, Tayuya and Karen with Baby Kaki on the floor playing with Yuka who for some reason was wearing a skin-tight yoga outfit showing off every curve to anyone that wanted to look. "Hi Karen, Tayuya, what are you guys up to.", said Naruto purposely leaving Yuka out of his greeting, she made him nervous with all her political games plus he wasn't sure how she and Tayuya seem to be all friendly today.
"OH fuck why are you still here,", he heard Sakura say behind him as she stomped over and glared at the new person sitting next to Karen.
"Naruto, this is Sakku she is from the HITFA company and they are going to rent out all of the first floor, isn't that great.", said Karen as she did her best to stand up to walk over, being nine months pregnant it wasn't as easy as it used to be, getting near she pulled him down for a kiss.
"Now be nice.", Karen whispered in his ear as she moved back and took Sakura's arm moving her away from her aunt.
"Hi Sakku, I haven't seen you around before,", said Naruto moving to stand in front of Sakku with his hand out, as they shook hands she stared up into his bright blue eyes with a look every woman in the room recognized but Naruto missed by a mile.

"All of them? That's great.", said Naruto figuring that was the safest thing to say at this point. Karen was the business person in the family and he just wanted to go clean up and go on his mission. Missions were so much easier than all these paper contracts and acting nice which Karen seemed to love so much.
"Yes, we plan on opening a food court and some high-end shops to cater to the more affluent shoppers that will be visiting the silk traders down the street.", said Sakku losing Naruto's interest as soon as she said high-end, now if she had said a ramen shop was going in downstairs he would have been a lot more interested.
"Sounds great,", said Naruto again all smiles but clearly wanting to get moving, "I have to go clean up, we have a mission to go on in a couple of hours." As he said that he pulled on his jacket showing everyone how dirty it was including a new ripe down the side from one of Sasuke's near misses.
"Then get your ass in gear lover-boy,", said Tayuya knowing he really didn't want to be there anyway.
As Naruto walked off down the hall into the master bedroom Sakura went to go to her room to wash up and change when Tayuya popped off the sofa and walked over to her breaking Karen's hold on her and pushing the other redhead back onto the sofa.
"You two keep talking, I still don't agree on that candy shop being in the lobby.", said Tayuya as she dragged Sakura with her to walk into Sakura's bedroom just down the hall from the master's suite.
"OK, spill it, what is this mission and why is he so worried about it.", said Tayuya as soon as the door clicked shut.
"Worried, I don't think he is worried.", said Sakura turning to pull clean clothes out of her closet.
"I know my husband, he is worried, now spill it.", said Tayuya taking the red dress out of Sakura's hand and throwing it on the bed.
"Ok, Ok, it's the Akatsuki, they kidnapped the two tail's container and we have to save her.", said Sakura stopping and staring at the shorter woman with her hands on her hips waiting to see what else Tayuya wanted.
"How bad is it? We already killed most of them.", said Tayuya trying her best to remember how many Akatsuki were left in the world.
"I really don't know but the Hokage said it was the leader of the Akatsuki so she is sending team seven to deal with him.", said Sakura not wanting to waste any more time thinking about this she undid her dress and let it drop to the floor and kicking it to the side, she would deal with that later.
"Now if you don't mind I need a shower, Naruto shoved me through a mountain today and I have dirt in places I didn't know I have.", said Sakura as she dropped her panties to the floor and stood naked in front of Tayuya waving her hands at her body as if to prove a point.

Taking a deep breath Naruto let it out to calm his nerves before he turned around, he had so much on his mind he really didn't want to deal with any 'issues' right now. The blonde maid wasn't a good spy and an even worst maid and now that she had a chance to think about it she was going to ask for a replacement as soon as she could find the time to talk to Inoichi. "It's Kari, she is heading to the hospital, it's time.", said the out-of-breath blonde, on top of everything else she wasn't even in good shape for a Kunoichi, she really needed to talk to Inoichi to get a better spy to clean the rooms downstairs.
"What about the others?", asked Karen thinking that if one goes then it would trigger them all. The surrogates were of different ages but Kari was in the middle of the group in age.
"I called Milena to watch over them and Tja took Kari to the hospital.", said Laura the maid who played at being a spy. Milena was another Yamanaka that helped on the weekends and Tja was one of the front door guards that Karen trusted the most. Tayuya came back and said, "It looks like three of them are already here, I ask that they send an emergency medic team to the house.", looking at Karen and the look of pain on her own face Tayuya knew what that meant better than most and turned around.
"I need a bed over here NOW!", she screamed over the noise of the rushing nurses and doctors causing a doctor to come running with a wheelchair for Karen to sit in.
"I am going to get the Hokage, that big boobed bitch needs to be here.", said Tayuya rushing out the door as Yuka spun around with a screaming child in her arms not knowing what to do.
Karen seized Yuka's arm before she ran off after Tayuya and looked her in the eye, "You better go find your sister, she is better with children and I don't need to be worrying about Kureha right now.", said Karen as a jolt of pain shoots up her spine.
With a quick nod, the panicked princess ran off to find Tomiko who she would happily hand off Kureha to, and return to her normal mood of giving moral support. This was all too much and as she ran down the street she could see the returning emergency medic with all the remaining women all being in the early stages of delivery. At least remembering the birthdays of the nine children would be easy in the future she thought as she passed them by, seeing Tomiko not more than a dozen feet behind the train of screaming women she handed to baby to her.
"Karen said you should watch Kureha, I have to go find Tayuya.", said Yuka as she turned and ran away from the chaos hearing Tomiko making baby noises and Kureha stop crying with her laughter filling the air. She felt at a loss on what to do and how to help, this wasn't a diplomatic mission with old men talking about going to war or starting a new trade route, she hadn't been trained for this, this madness.
Seeing Tayuya running behind the Hokage as they rushed into the hospital Yuka decided this would be a good time to find a spot out of the way and order a glass of wine or maybe three.

"I need a status report, NOW!", yelled out Tsunade as soon as the door slammed behind her. Now that the head doctor was showing charts to the Hokage Tayuya walked down the hall looking into every room in the ward counting heads until she was sure everyone was there.
'This is going to be a shit show.', she thought as screams of nine women going into labor echoed down the hall.
Finding Karen she walked over and using a towel wiped the sweat off her face as she lay in the bed trying not to scream. Tayuya remembered all too well what it was like and did everything she could to make Karen feel a little better, she only hoped this was fast and didn't last late into the night.
"Everyone is here now, looks like we are having only one birthday party every year.", Joked Tayuya trying her best to get Karen to focus on something else besides the pain.
"Fucking Naruto, he ran off again.", said Karen letting the pain cloud her reason.
"Ya the fucker knows when to run away that is for sure.", said Tayuya knowing better than to contradict anything Karen said for the next day or even two.
Tsunade walked in with an army of nurses following behind, as she put her hand on Karen's forehead and used her other to do a quick scan she looked to the head nurse, "I would give her another hour and then wheel her into room 7, some of the others are farther along."
"How is everyone,", said Karen between clenched teeth.
"No need to worry about any of them, nothing out of the ordinary, you just need to focus on yourself for now.", said Tsunade, as she turned and walked out of the room to check on the next woman in line. This was going to be a long day for everyone and if she hadn't ordered the nurses to train for all of the Uzumaki coming in at once she would be worried. With anything to do with Naruto, you had to train for the unexpected.
Tsunade felt a hand on her arm as she was going to open the next room. Looking down she found the worried face of Tayuya staring up at her.
"What's the truth, you can tell me.", said Tayuya bracing herself for the worst news and ready to do whatever it took to save any of the newest members of the Uzumaki clan.
Pulling the hot sweaty hand from her arm Tsunade took a deep breath before saying, "There is really nothing wrong with any of them. We detected some flow of Fox chakra between them and it seemed to have triggered them all to go into labor but as you know they are all a week late so it's not unexpected. You need to calm down and most of all calm Karen down." With those words, Tsunade walked into the next room leaving Tayuya in her own thoughts as she walked back into Karen's room.

It was three hours later that the first screams of a newborn could be heard announcing to the world he was here. In the next few hours, he was joined by eight more screaming infants all with bright red hair and demanding voices. Nine boys entered the Uzumaki clan all within the same day, each a perfect copy of the other but for a small birthmark on their backside it was improbable to tell them apart.
Tsunade stood in the window watching the nurses clean the last of the boys and put him in a crib, all nine were laid out in a row with each with a different colored ribbon in their hair so they could be told apart. Karen had yet to decide on any names and was even thinking about waiting until Naruto returned from his mission. Tayuya had other ideas and was making a list, she was just happy that her girl was going to be the oldest and now had nine boys to boss around.
"Nine twins? I don't even know what to call that?", said Shizune as she joined her master at the window.
"Nonuplets", said Tsunade without even turning away from the glass, "It's called Nonuplets but I have never seen anything like it."
As all the newborns looked around with the same bright blue eyes and shining red hair Tsunade felt someone walking up behind her. Only wanting to go get a good stiff drink she turned to talk to the new mother.
"Are they all healthy?", asked Karen as all new mothers do the first time and many times after.
Facing her the Hokage could see she was exhausted but was quickly returning to normal as she expected all Uzumaki women recovered faster than anyone she knew.
"As healthy as can be, every toe in place every eye bright and blue.", Joked back Tsunade having had to answer this question a dozen times already.
Karen pulled her big fluffy robe tight around her as she pressed her forehead against the window and looked down, "I didn't think they would be identical, the jutsu I used didn't say that was one of the side effects."
"Fertility jutsu are tricky, some produce more eggs and the same jutsu in someone else will just split the same egg over and over. It looks like that is what happened here.", said Shizune as she had studied this type of jutsu when she started working in the maternity wards years back.
"I still say it's the fucking fox.", said Tayuya as she joined Karen looking down at the newest members of the clan, 'this was going to be a long couple of years until the little monster could feed themselves' was her only thought.
"I found no trace of the fox chakra in the children. What was in the mothers stayed with them.", said Tsunade as she stepped back, thoughts of what could have been if Dan had lived and that in her grief she had pushed away all others allowing her own clan to die out with her always came to mind when she stayed too long in the maternity ward.
There was a Jonin bar not too far from the hospital and she was going to get each one of them to buy her a drink tonight or maybe nine, one for each of the newest members of her extended family.
"Rest tonight, you can take them home in the morning.", said Tsunade as she abruptly turned and walked away with her trademark clicking of her heels.
"I will contact the nurse to bring one of them to your room for feeding, I am sure the others will want to see them.", said Shizune doing her best to distract them and move on.
"No.", said Karen, "I picked them not only for their healthy bodies and minds but they all agreed that as surrogates they would not have contact with the children.", turning to face the surprised apprentice she continued, "Its best for everyone, I don't need to be dealing with one of the boys following after some woman that isn't his mother on some crazy quest. When he grows up."
"Always fucking playing the long game aren't you.", said Tayuya with a grin.
"As should we all, I already talked to the head midwife and she will be sending over some well-trained wet nurses to help with the feeding and care of the boys.", said Karen, "Now if you could bring me the first one I want to meet all my children tonight."
With that, she headed back to her room as the nurses formed a little train of baby incubators to start wheeling them all into her room.
