Set away before the events of WWII, this is my imagining of René & Edith’s relationship when they first met. I truly believe René was in love with Edith in the beginning and the war put a huge strain on their relationship. I hope you enjoy my story!

It's basically the same flow of story but with a more dramatic,serious twist. Lt. Gruber is our star in this fic and it revolves around him. I guess it's safe to say that I suck as summaries but hey sue me. It's my first fic. Btw rated M for the later chapters.
