Red wine is her favourite wine.
He knows that he called some names that he would never have said to her at Georgetown.
He was angry and betrayed that she was leaving and didn't say anything.
He needs to find a way to apologise but he knows that she won't accept a face-to-face apology, at least not now.
So he decides to send her a bottle of red wine in hopes it'll thaw the ice between them a little bit.
A few days after he's sent the wine bottle, he receives a text from her.
