They work together and live together.
Since they merged their firms and became Lockhart, Gardner, Cavanaugh & Agos, they've had small arguments but this one has spilled out and had been brought home with them.
Zach and Grace know that there's something wrong between their mother and Will.
They hear their mother huff before she goes into her bedroom, slamming the door shut behind her.
Will comes into the living room and sits beside Grace.
"Everything okay with you and Mom, Wil?" Zach asks, Will looks at them
"We're fine guys, it's just an argument. We're fine, promise."
