Finals Week
Auradon Prep, Monday-Friday
It was finally Finals Week! The one where every student of Auradon Prep has to take their final exams to pass in order to move a grade or for the seniors, graduate. Students are either use the free time to do a quick study session or are doing their best to pass their exams in class. It was also the most stressful for them as they fear they wouldn't pass. There were even snack bars posted in some areas of the school as a way to give them brain food in preparation for their exams.
Like every else, The VKs are following everyone's example and does the best they can. For Carlos, he wasn't sweating as much since out of all of the VKs, he's the smartest. Compare Evie to him, she's the second smartest, especially for science. Mal has no problem with History, Jay has to take some extra study time, but he seems to know half of his subjects, if not most. Freddie and Quincy studied with Jane, Jordan and Aziz more often since they have some classes with them when they weren't studying with their VK friends.
Quincy was calmly and efficiently getting through his exams with some worry he'll admit to himself. From his Math, to Science, to History, and also to his History of Woodsmen and Pirates, which is a requirement to everyone. Between the quick study sessions, exams and snack breaks, he along with everyone else is exhausted.
Auradon Prep, Next Monday, Final Week of School
Today is the day when everyone gets their results back. Everyone has different feelings about them. Some are confident that they passed, others not so confident. Herkie feels he didn't do so good on his Chemistry Exam, but he did get some tutoring from Evie, which helped out a lot. Audrey on the other hand has no worries she was lucky exempt from some of the exams due to good grades she's received in some of the classes, though she still had to take some exams, which she isn't too worried about.
Exemptions are what keeps a certain amount of students from taking exams if they get 90% or higher in their classes, which helps a lot for some students. Some of them though didn't get that lucky and has to take every exam to pass their classes, like Jay, Chad, Aziz, Herkie, Ally, Even Quincy for examples. Ben however is exempt from all exams since he's been getting good grades, and also the fact that his king duties keeps him busy at times.
The exam scores are then mailed to each room delivered by a few students who worked in the mailroom like Gordon and Arabella. Quincy's and Chad's dorm room was one of Gordon's stops and he hands the exam scores over to the roommates. Quincy paces the room at least 5 times nervous about if he passed or not. Chad however was already opening his mail and started scanning through his scores with his eyes.
"Sweet!" Chad said pumping his fist in the air.
Quincy looked over to his best friend and asked. "What?"
"I passed!" Chad said. "Senior Year's gonna rock!"
"Congrats." Quincy said. "I'm happy for you."
"Thanks, Q! Not that I had anything to worry about before." Chad said. "Though I barely passed my Life Without Magic exam. Got a C on it, but it made me pass the classes overall."
While Chad was still going on with his results, Quincy has yet to open his envelope. Chad notices and goes over to him.
"It's not gonna open itself, you know?" He said.
"Well, you don't know. Remember when Dude didn't talk before?" Quincy said.
"Just open it, it might not be that bad." Chad said.
"But what if I fail? What if I'm held back?" Quincy said.
"If you're getting held back, so am I."
"Really?" Quincy said with uncertainty.
"Yeah…." Chad said with regret in his tone.
"As much as I appreciate that, don't let me drag you down."
"Oh, Thank Zeus! I was really hoping you'd say that." Chad said wiping sweat from his forehead.
Quincy scoffed.
"What do you expect? It's senior year! The best year for any student!" Chad said.
"I'll probably never know." Quincy said.
"No! Don't do that! I won't let you talk about yourself that way." Chad said. "You got this! You're moving ahead with me!"
Quincy looks to Chad with a slow, growing smile and hope in his eyes. "Ok."
He takes a deep breath and opens up his envelope. He slowly pulls out the paper then unfolds it with his eyes closed. He then opened one eye and suddenly, he has both of them open as he sees his results.
Quincy of Hearts, Junior of Auradon Prep
Mathematics Exam: A
Chemistry Exam: B
Magical History Exam: A
Remedial Goodness 101 Exam: A
History of Woodsmen and Pirates Exam: B
Quincy gasped at his Exam Results and lets out a scream that the entire corridor can hear.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Quincy screeched holding the paper in front of him.
He hopped up and down in a circle and eventually hugs Chad, who unintentionally joins in on the hopping.
"Why are we jumping?! And screaming?!" Chad yelled.
"I PASSED!" Quincy said.
"YOU PASSED?!" Chad said.
"I PASSED!" Quincy showed him the results to see with his own eyes.
"HECK YEAH! WE'RE SENIORS NOW!" Chad yelled.
"AAAHHH!" Quincy shouted.
"AAAHHH!" Chad shouted also.
They both shouted at the same time, it nearly made a crack in their window. Someone ran to their door and Jay, Carlos, Aziz and Herkie suddenly appeared.
"WHAT HAPPENED?!" All four of them shouted.
"WE PASSED!" Quincy shouted.
"YOU PASSED?!" They shouted.
"WE PASSED!" Chad said.
"WE PASSED!" The four boys shouted then shouts, "SENIORS!"
"SENIORS!" Chad and Quincy shouted.
"SENIORS!" All six of them shouted.
8 hours later…
Everyone's at the cafeteria having their dinner, which is roast beef, dinner rolls, greens, spaghetti with meatballs and strawberry cake for dessert. The sixteen friends all sat on the same table. It arranges Quincy, Jay, Jordan, Mal, Herkie, Freddie, Carlos and Aziz on one side, follow by Chad, Ally, Jane, Audrey, Evie, Lonnie, Ben and Doug.
"To us!" Ben said raising a glass of red punch.
"To us!" Everyone said raising a glass.
"I just want to say congratulations on a job well done. All of us are moving forward next year as seniors after summer." Ben said.
"Well, not all of us." Carlos said.
"Oh right, you and Jane are gonna be juniors. My bad." Ben said.
"It's alright, Ben, that'll just give us more time with each other." Jane said winking.
Carlos was blushing unintentionally with a smile.
"Oooh!" Everyone except Ben who giggled said.
Everyone quickly laughed giving Carlos a hard time, who doesn't mind.
"Ok!" Ben said getting everyone's attention once more. "Now, I know that lately things have gotten haywire, but through it all, we still accomplished our achievements in spite of it. So hopefully, everything goes well with the banquet this Friday and we'll solve the mysterious magic that's plagued our school."
"We'll figure this out, for sure." Ally said.
"Have you figured out anything yet, Ally?" Quincy said.
Ally's eyes are wide open in shock due to recent discoveries on her's and Jordan's. Jordan's expressions were the same looking back and forth between Ally and Quincy.
"Uhhh, we're getting close, actually." Ally said trying not to sound nervous.
"Nice, what you find?" Quincy asked.
Jordan's expression in her eyes got even wider with her teeth showing. She then looks to Ally, who was sweating down her back.
"Just some out of the ordinary clues, though not pointing to anyone in particular so far." Ally said.
"Oh, like any clues pointing to those megaphone from Queen Leah's party?" Quincy said.
That Jordan was comfortable to answer, so she explained, "What we got from that is that it's wireless, but someone hooked it up from the party to the WiFi router."
"Come on, you can't be serious about that." Audrey said.
"But Audrey, didn't your mom said that she never ordered for megaphones to be put up?" Lonnie asked.
"Maybe she forgot, she is in her Middle Ages now." Audrey said.
"I just think you don't want to face the facts that someone broke in your castle." Jay said. "You could use a savior to protect you." Jay said smirking.
"And who would that be? Chad?" Audrey said sarcastically.
"I can be a protector. I just need to lift more weights." Chad said flexing.
Some of the kids laughed.
Ally then continues to talk more about the investigation. "And with that, we've always have come to the realization that the party might've not been the only one tempered with."
Everyone except Jordan gasped.
"The culprit could've been at the museum with me, Aziz and Lonnie." Jordan said.
Flashback
Lonnie was attacking Aziz and Jordan.
Present
Lonnie gasped.
"And possibly at Ariana's party with Emeri." Ally said.
Flashback
Emeri was on the dance floor at the rooftop dancing with her hair glowing and making everyone act bonkers.
Present
"Oh yeah." Herkie said. "I even had to save her boyfriend that night."
"There's also Freddie's solo when the music suddenly changed." Jordan said.
Flashback
Freddie was evil laughing while spinning around in the air.
Present
Freddie shudders at the thought of it. "Not something I want to remember."
"I can never forget about Herkie's experience." Carlos said.
"Don't remind me." Herkie said.
Flashback
Herkie was walking by everyone and they became emotionless and gray.
Present
"I even heard music when I was feeling down about what happened with my college interview at Notre Dame." Herkie said.
"Yes, I remember you told me that, which was why I'm including that because honestly, we think that someone is using music to manipulate the magic that's affecting everyone." Ally said.
"And we found out that positive-sounding music is the cure to turn everyone back to normal." Jordan said.
"Wow. Crazy. That's something." Everyone mutters.
"So someone's using negative songs to turn them the opposite of themselves?" Ben asked.
"Precisely. At least that's what we've come up with." Ally said.
"That's some good detective work, Ally and Jordan." Mal said.
"All in a day's work and it's not done yet." Ally said.
"We have a source we need to confirm some things with." Jordan said.
"They'll only see us on Friday though." Ally said.
"Good. Hopefully, it'll shine some light on things." Mal said.
"But I hope you don't have to miss the banquet." Ben said.
"Don't worry, it'll be over before then, so we have time." Jordan said.
"In the meantime, let's not let this food go to waste." Quincy suggested.
"Yeah! I hear that! Let's eat." Everyone said.
They all begin to eat, but during that time, Ally and Jordan looked at each other with worry as they still remember who's at the center of all this chaos.
30 minutes later…
Jordan and Ally were back in Jordan's lamp, discussing on the Dumbo in the room.
"I'm not sure what to do, Ally. This is Quincy we're talking about." Jordan said.
"Ooh geez! This is mighty difficult. How are we going to explain to him that his new hair products are the cause of all this?" Ally said.
"We can't tell him. At least not until we get all the facts." Jordan said.
"But why are we keep this from him?" Ally asked.
"Because he's gonna feel nothing but guilty. He'll blame himself and might act all out of sorts. We can't put this kind of pressure, not for a whole week." Jordan said.
"Hmm…" Ally sighs.
"And besides, luckily, he ran out of those products. He used the last of it on Audrey." Jordan said.
"Well that's some good news. Maybe now, we won't have to worry anymore crazy stuff happening this week." Ally said.
"But we still need to nip this in the bud. We have to be there in Corona for that interview I set up." Jordan said.
"Agreed. It's gonna be a long week though."
"We'll make it. We just need to occupy ourselves for the time being." Jordan said.
"Right. Let us hope nothing else befalls our school." Ally said.
The Next Day…
As this is the final week of Auradon Prep before Summer Vacation started, every student is already excited about going home and getting their summer plans started. Some however have to stay for summer school. The seniors are getting ready for graduation and the faculty are also getting ready to pack it all up. Though few students got lucky on re-taking their exams for various reasons.
The VKs, who's never experienced summer vacation, gets to stay with Ben at his castle for the whole summer. As for what they'll do during that time, they'll cross that bridge when they come to it. For now, with all the free time most of the students have before they go home, they're taking it easy, hanging out, watching movies, swimming, going out to eat, It was pretty chill.
For Quincy though, while he does get to relax, he did make some appointments for a few clients. One of them is new and don't even go to Auradon Prep. And one of the other clients who is first is Freddie and she had a strange request. Since they were allowed to go off campus, Freddie was taking Quincy to an a private place.
Enchanted Lake
Freddie pulls Quincy towards the same place where Mal and Ben had their first date. It was a beautiful location, Quincy will give it that. But it was strange, why would Freddie want to set up a hair appointment here, he wonders. They could've done this in his room, but for some reason, Freddie was being secretive and to be frank, Quincy was feeling a little nervous.
"Why are we here, Freddie?" Quincy asked.
"Cause I like the scene?" Freddie tries to convince him.
Quincy's eyebrow was arched, meaning he knows she's lying. "Freddie, I've known you for years and I can tell when you're lying to me."
Freddie looked sideways, knowing that he won't be tricked. She lets out a big sigh, giving up at this point.
"Ok, fine. Here's the thing. The appointment's not for me." Freddie said.
"Huh?" Quincy said.
"It's for a friend." She explained. "She doesn't have anyone to manage her hair and also, she doesn't know how to keep it maintained."
"If that's the problem, then why do it out here?" Quincy said. "Why not just do it at school?"
"Because, Quincy…I wasn't sure if you'll say yes and she's not exactly welcomed there." Freddie said.
"What do you mean…" Then that's when it hit him. He knows who Freddie is talking. His eyes widened at the realization. Then his eyebrows shifted.
"Oh, no. Freddie, no!" Quincy said.
"She'll behave, I promise." Freddie said.
"Where is she?" He asked.
"Why, right here, matey!" A female voice said behind them.
They turned to see a girl with a huge dirty blonde ponytail, some braids, some beads, a long red coat, stockings and black crocodile boots.
"Hi, Quincy!"
"CJ!" Quincy said with bitterness.
It was CJ Hook, Captain Hook's daughter. For those who wonder, she caused some trouble at the Neon Lights Ball, wrecked havoc during Quincy's debut at the Tourney game during playoffs and assisted Baron Mordo when he was released from a magic comic book at the Marvel Convention during Spring Break.
"Missed me, Quin?" CJ said walking towards them.
"Why is she here?" Quincy asked Freddie.
"She came to me after hearing about your hair salon and was hoping if I could hook her up." Freddie said.
"I thought she was sent back to the isle after we stopped Baron Mordo." Quincy assumed.
"Actually, she escaped, at least that's what Harriet told me at first."
"Wait…that message she told you about?"
Flashback
After the battle for Auradon ended with the heroes winning, Harriet Hook, CJ's older sister, wanted to give Freddie a message before being magicked back to the Isle. Freddie walked over to Harriet and she listened to Harriet's message being whispered in her ear.
"CJ wanted to let you know she escaped, but she'll be in touch. It's a promise." Harriet whispered.
"Ok then, I figured that would happened." Freddie said.
"Then my work here is done." Harriet said.
Present
"That's what that message was about?" Quincy asked Freddie.
"It didn't shocked me the least, CJ's always the sneakiest, even compared to you." Freddie said.
"So you've just been keeping that a secret for 2 months?"
"It really wasn't a secret, no one didn't even bother to ask me." Freddie explained. "She finally reached out to me after spying on you and asked me to arrange a meeting with you. I had to be inconspicuous with the details, it was the faster way to get you here."
"I can't believe you did that. You were tricking me to help her. Freddie, don't you see? She's probably the one responsible for what's happening at the school right now!" Quincy said.
Confused at the accusation, CJ goes on to say, "Like what are even talking about?"
"Don't play games with me, CJ!" Quincy said. "It was you all along, wasn't it? Releasing some kind of magic and making everyone at school go crazy. Just another one of your stupid plans to take over Auradon!"
"Excuse me? Do you honestly believe I would do something like that?" CJ scoffed.
"Yes!" Quincy and Freddie both said.
"To be honest, I wish I did, but not me this time." CJ answered.
"How can I know that for sure?" Quincy asked. "You've been tormenting us since you've gotten off the Isle."
"My alibi can proof it." CJ points to Freddie.
Quincy looks to Freddie, who sighs and explains. "She's been in contact with me sometimes after Spring Break. She was out looking for more treasure or at least find another grand adventure."
"I've mostly pillage and plundered all throughout Snow White's kingdom, but I did find this emerald which surprisingly took me a week to find after I found this treasure map in Neverland." CJ said.
"Sounds like you stumbled on enemy territory. You know who beat your father, right?" Quincy asked.
"And he was none the wiser. Silly Pan." CJ cackled.
Both with arched eyebrows, Quincy then takes a closer look at CJ's hair. It was a mess, all tangled, out of place and her roots were growing out so much, it made her braids look raggedy.
"Oh my Zeus, what in the world happened to that mop on your head?!" Quincy asked.
"You just noticed? Why do you think I'm here?" CJ said irritably.
"I had no idea it was this bad! Girl, you need to stop treasure hunting and take care of yourself once in a while. I know pirates don't care about their appearance, but at some level, you need to be conscious on the way that you look, walking around with all that yarn on your head!" Quincy said.
Freddie laughed to herself, but CJ noticed and shoot daggers at her with her eyes. The pigtailed girl raised her hand in defense.
"I'm sorry, but he got you there." Freddie said through her laughs.
"Ugh." Quincy said rolling his eyes.
He takes his rolling suitcase and pulls out a foldable chair and got out his hair products.
"Come on over here." He said to CJ.
She walks over to the chair to sit, getting comfortable while Quincy sets up his station.
15 mins later…
Quincy combs her hair out after washing and drying it. He then uses a flat iron to straighten her hair before he fixes it up.
"So, you've really taking this whole hair thing seriously then?" CJ asked Quincy.
"Yeah, turns out I like doing hair, who knew?" Quincy answered.
"Bet mommy dearest won't like that idea."
"She's the least of my concern. She never takes an interest on what I like. It's not worth the trouble talking with her no more."
"I hear ya. My dad hardly thinks I'm ready to be my own pirate. Sure, I'm the youngest of my siblings, but I still have the heart of a pirate. I like going on adventures, taking from the rich, finding treasure, meeting interesting people." CJ said.
"How interesting?" Quincy said.
"Well, you remember Reggie, don't you?" CJ asked.
Quincy accidentally tugged one of her strands, but not too hard that it'll hurt.
"You really gonna bring him up?" Quincy said. "Don't forget who's doing your hair now."
"You asked." CJ reminded him.
"And I suppose you're gonna say Mordo next." Quincy said.
"Now that guy was psycho." CJ said. "Good thing it all worked out at the end."
"After you worked for him." Quincy said.
"Gotta do what you gotta do." CJ said. "I'm still a villain after all."
"You don't need to remind me. I've got the scars for that."
Feeling the tense coming off from them, Freddie tries to steer from the conversation.
"So what's next after this, CJ?" She asked her.
"Maybe I'll come up with another evil plan. Or better yet, see about finding more treasure." CJ said.
"You might have luck with one of those." Quincy said.
"Which implies…?" CJ asked.
"You still haven't taken over Auradon since you've been here, so what does that tell ya?" Quincy said as he's doing a braid in her hair.
"I'm just getting warmed up." CJ said.
"Sure."
10 mins later….
While Quincy was trying to get his hand mirror, CJ was feeling her newly refreshed ponytail.
"Hmm…" CJ muttered.
"Here you go." Quincy said handing her the mirror.
CJ looked at it and was immediately stunned. Now her hair isn't as shiny as with the new products he would use on his friends, but it was close enough where it looked good and beautiful. Sure it's the same look as before, but healthier than ever.
"I thought I never say this before, but impressed. You even got the beads in where they were before." CJ said.
"I have a good memory." Quincy explained. "I wouldn't wanna mess with a classic look."
"So true." CJ said. She then sighs and looks at Quincy with an awkward expression. "Well, I suppose you're looking for payment."
Quincy thought about it for a second and then replies, "Don't worry about it, it's on the house. Or in your cause, a ship."
"Really? You going soft after all." CJ teased.
"I'm just being nice, plus I didn't even think you got any money. I just did your hair thinking that."
CJ scoffs. "Excuse me, you thought I was broke? You must have hearts in your ears cause I told you earlier I found an emerald." She takes out some cash. "And I turned it into Auradon currency!"
Quincy and Freddie stares and their mouths hang low at the sight of the wad of cash.
"How much was that emerald worth?" Quincy said.
"I say enough to get me my own ship." CJ said.
"You're actually gonna buy something for once?" Freddie asked.
"Well, if I want to stay under the radar, I should at least do something legal. Doing something villainous will catch a lot of attention. I wanna do that after I buy my ship." CJ said.
"You know we're probably gonna catch you eventually, right?" Quincy said.
"You scurvy dogs can try." CJ smirked.
She then places some of that cash on Quincy's small fold out table. Quincy was surprised at that and then looks to CJ, who still had that smirk on her face.
"Don't give me that look. That was to make a statement." She replies.
"To what?" Quincy asked.
"To not underestimate me." CJ answered.
She then eventually walks off and her magic carpet came at the snap of her fingers. She hops on and before she takes off, she looks to Freddie and says, "I made good on my promise, did I?"
"Until next time." Freddie said waving goodbye.
CJ winked and sets off into the air, leaving behind the two VKs.
"Wonder when we'll see her again?" Quincy wonders.
"Who knows? Question is what will she do next?" Freddie said.
"No clue, nothing's ever set in stone with her."
"Agreed."
Wednesday, Auradon Prep
Quincy's next hair appointment was even stranger. A limo was sent for him, but Pin was confident enough that Quincy is in no danger when he set it up.
"She told me she'd send it for you." Pin said.
"That's a relief." Quincy said.
"She also wanted me to keep it confidential, same for you too."
"That I understand."
"Have fun over there." Pin smiled.
"I will. I've been meaning to get in touch with her. It's been a minute." Quincy said.
Quincy gets in the limo and Pin closes the door for him before it drove off and Pin waves goodbye.
Auradon City
The limo drives through the city with people looking on at the sight. Quincy has been here dozens of times when he wanted to visit the Bonjour Bakery, and the Candlestick Coffee shop. This time he's being taken to a building he's also familiar with, but hasn't gone to often, Creamy n Breezy. The same place where he and some of his friends went to get ice cream during spring break. It was also owned by Anna, Elsa's sister, The same Queen Elsa of Arendelle. She opened it with her husband, Kristoff and business was booming ever since. But today, it was closed and Quincy was called to here.
The driver opens up Quincy's door as soon as he parked. He then leads Quincy to the door, which he has the keys for.
"Just walk right in. She'll tell you where to go." The limo driver said.
"Sounds good." Quincy said before entering.
Quincy looks around and confirms it was indeed empty. He wasn't sure where to go or do, so he decides to call out for someone.
"Hello?!" Quincy hollered. "I'm here!"
And just like that, Alana, Anna's and Kristoff's daughter comes out from the another room in the place.
"Oh, sorry Quincy, I was supposed to be out here earlier, but I was getting her situated." Alana said.
"How's she holding up?" He asked.
"She seems to be doing better, but it's been a mess for her." She answered.
"I was afraid of this."
"She still hasn't seen Aunt Elsa."
"Still?"
"She's scared to face her. She's been ridden with guilt since 2 months ago. All she can think about is what a huge disappointment she is to our family."
Quincy understood what that's like and it's one of the reasons why he's agreed to take this appointment.
"So we're good, right? The shop's closed for today?" Quincy asked Alana.
"Yeah, my parents to visit my Aunt Elsa in Arendelle. They asked me to keep watch, which was why today's perfect for booking you."
"Where is she?"
"In the break room." Alana said pointing to the door.
"Thanks, I'll be a moment."
Quincy tugs on his rolling suitcase and walks towards the door. He opens to a small room with a table, refrigerator, small cabinets and such. Inside a room is a girl with platinum blonde hair with icy blue ends. Her outfit consists of a white blazer, light blue shirt and matching white pants and boots. She looked up as she saw Quincy come in. He became the first to do the greeting.
"Hey Eliza."
Eliza is Elsa's daughter, Princess of Arendelle and superstar of Auradon. Well, she was the superstar until she did an exposé on herself coming clean to the horrible things she did to become famous. It was when she got first place in the Marvel Costume Contest during spring break at Marvel Con. She was dressed as Emma Frost. She won the contest, but after meeting Ben and the other Auradon kids from her past, she tries her best to show them she changed and her last good act was telling everyone on national television that she got leaks Ben's words about being King to the press, got Herkie flunked on a math test, everything she can do to help her boyfriend at the time win a tourney game since he was on the opposing team. And there was this competition where she made Audrey late for and that's how she stardom came to be.
She revealed all that and quits the costume contest and forks her first place over to the Quincy, Mal, Ben and the others since they all entered as a group. Since then, she's taken a huge hit at her career since she's canceled her future appearances on tv, music videos and movies as well. She hardly goes anywhere, not even to see her family except for her cousin Alana since they've gotten close again before spring break when her ice powers manifested. Alana's been meeting her in secret and keeps lying to her parents and Elsa when they asked if they seen Eliza. It was until then Alana decided that Eliza needs to see her mom and wants her to look her best when she does. That was when she saw on InstaRoyal about Quincy's Hair Salon and knew she had to make an appointment to help Eliza feel confident in herself.
"Hey, Quincy." Eliza said.
She walked up to Quincy and gives her a big hug. "Thank you for coming."
"I'm glad to." Quincy said. "I've been trying to hit you up for a while now."
"I know." Eliza said. "I was avoiding everyone. Even Mal and the other VKs."
"I heard."
"It's just been hard. I didn't want to face anybody after I confessed my past on national tv."
"You did the right thing, that's what's important." Quincy said.
"Right now, I just feel so…crappy." Eliza said. "I'm literally the villain in my own story."
"I know it feels like it now, but nothing's going to change if you're not willing to do so."
"You're right. I've just been scared to take the first necessary step." Eliza said.
"That's what I'm hear for." Quincy said then proceeds to take out his red hair dryer. "To make you fabulous enough to do so."
Eliza smiles at his optimism.
30 minutes later….
After washing and blow drying her hair, Quincy brings out some light blue semi-permanent hair since her ends were looking pale and dull.
"So, you wanna dye your hair again?" Quincy said.
"Actually, I was wondering if you could match my ends with my natural." Eliza requested. "If I'm gonna face my mom, I wanna do it as a new me. A changed version of myself. I wanna match my outsides with my inner self." Eliza said.
Quincy smiles at her request. "I get it, you need a change. Luckily, I've got color removers, toners, all the good stuff. I've been wanting to do color for a long time anyways. It's been a while since then. Then again, Jane wanted me to give her pink highlights again for the summer."
"So Plain Jane's got a wild side. Interesting." Eliza said.
"She always had a wild side, it just wasn't until she met Mal that she got to let it out." Quincy said.
Quincy puts away the light blue dye and gets out a color remover, a platinum toner, leave in products and a hair spray.
"Let's get to work!" He said.
1 hour later….
Eliza looks into the mirror and sees the new her. Her hair is all even, same color from head to toe, and is styled with waves and a small trim at her ends. Even her hair at the top is combed over to the right side of her head. It was also shiny like new.
"I…I have no words." Eliza said.
"I always take that as a compliment." Quincy said.
"The way my hair looks, it's like I never had it dyed before. I love it." Eliza smiled. "Quincy, none of this would be possible without you!"
"Thank you, Eliza." Quincy said.
Eliza sighs at the thought she had about how she'll face her mother. "I think…I think I'm ready."
"You sure?" Quincy said.
"It's time, Quincy. I can't keep hiding from her forever." Eliza said.
"I'm glad to hear that, actually."
"I know she'll be angry with me, but I need to get this over with so I can finally move on with my life. I can't stay in my trailer forever.
"That's good." Quincy then reaches to hug Eliza, which she reciprocates. "Good luck."
"I'll need it." Eliza said.
Auradon Prep, 1 hour later…
Quincy was having a talk with his VK friends in the Student Lounge to talk about Eliza and her situation.
"Eliza?!" The VKs said.
"Yeah, she was my client today." Quincy said.
"How is she?" Mal asked.
"Is she ok?" Evie asked.
"Why hasn't she gotten back to us?" Jay asked.
Everyone was bombing him with questions but Quincy had enough.
"ALRIGHT!" He shouted, slamming on the table.
It shut everyone up knowing how angry he can get.
"She's ok. She's just hiding out after admitting what she did to everyone in Auradon. She was going through it, but thanks to me, she has the courage to face the world again, but first, she has to see her mother. Queen Elsa was getting worried."
"That's heavy." Carlos said. "When's she going to see her?"
"I think today." Quincy said. "She sounded sure of herself.
"Well, for her sake, I hope Elsa ain't gonna be too hard on her." Freddie said.
"Honestly, I think everything will be alright." Quincy said.
"How would you know?" Mal said smiling. "You psychic all of a sudden?"
"Nah, it's cause I'm The Prince of Hearts. And I feel it right here." Quincy said putting his hand over his heart.
The VKs smiled at his statement.
Arendelle, Elsa's Castle
Inside her castle in her bedroom, Elsa sits twiddling her thumbs with snowflakes falling down from the ceiling, but not much. Anna is with her with Anna sitting besides Elsa on her bed.
"2 months." Elsa said. "2 months and no one's heard from her."
"I'm sure she's fine, Elsa. She's probably gonna come home any day now." Anna said.
"I've been patient enough, Anna. My daughter has been gone from the face of the earth for too long. I need to find her!" Elsa said.
"We've all tried our best, and we're still are." Anna said.
"Our best isn't good enough. Maybe I can talk to the King Ben. He has a better outreach than me I'll admit."
Suddenly, the doors open and Kristoff was the one who opened them.
"Elsa." Kristoff said panting.
Anna runs over to him. "Honey, what's wrong?"
Kristoff turns to Elsa. "You're needed in the throne room, now!"
"What's wrong?" Elsa said.
"No time to explain, just go!" Kristoff said before falling to his knees.
With no other words from him, Elsa walks out her room and down the hallway. She quickly reaches to the throne room when she meets Alana at the doors.
"Alana? What are you doing here? Did you send your dad?" Elsa asked.
"Yeah. I send him because there's someone in their who wants to talk to you." Alana explained.
She opens the doors for Elsa to walk in. Elsa didn't know what was so urgent, but then she sees her. The back of a certain blonde's head. The girl turns around slowly to face Elsa and it was none other than Eliza. Tears were starting to brim in her eyes at the sight of her daughter. No words were exchanged between the two of them. They just looked at each other in silence.
Eliza then begins to speak. "Mom."
That was enough to make Elsa move towards and and in an instant, she hugs her. She keeps hugging and doesn't want to let go. Eliza did the same with her and they were both now in tears and crying into each other's brace.
"I'm sorry, Mom! I'm so sorry!" Eliza said crying.
"That doesn't matter now." Elsa said. "I'm just so happy you're here!" She said through the tears.
They both fell to their knees while still hold on to each other. From a distance, Alana, Anna and Kristoff were watching through the crack in the doors.
"You did good, Alana. I'm proud of you." Kristoff said putting his hand on Alana's shoulder.
"You brought our family back together." Anna said hugging her.
"Thanks Mom, Thank Dad." Alana said.
They all held on to each other while watching the sight of a beautiful family reunion.
In the skies of Auradon, Friday 3 pm
Jordan and Ally were flying a magic carpet they rented to over to Corona, where she set up a meeting with the company that sent Quincy those hair products.
"Ok, so let's go over what we know before we get to Corona." Jordan tells Ally.
"Right." Ally said.
"We know that the hair products that Quincy uses is making everyone go crazy with mysterious power." Jordan said.
"We also found out that based on someone's emotions like anger, jealous, depression, that's when the spell's activated." Ally said.
"That's part of it, but what really does it is the type of music that's playing in the background." Jordan said.
"Like metal songs, also songs about having a terrible life, sad songs, etc." Ally said.
"And what undoes the spell is happy, positive songs and music." Jordan said.
"Correct." Ally said.
"So what do we know about this hair products company?" Jordan said.
"After researching, I found almost nothing about it. There's a website, but it seems too new cause it keeps saying 'Features coming soon'. And there's the phone number, which I've given you." Ally said.
"Now that's weird. You think new companies would have everything set up for their products." Jordan said.
"But they did reach out to Quincy, so we all assume it was legit." Ally said.
"Did I tell you that Rapunzel finally reached out to me?"
"Not in the slightest. What she say?"
"She knows next to nothing about it. In fact, no one in Corona knows anything about it."
"Now those are some alarmingly red flags." Ally said.
"What's the place called again?" Jordan asked.
"SunMoon Dropal." Ally answered.
"What kind of name is that?" Jordan said.
"I know, the name is rather odd." Ally said.
"That's gonna be one of my questions when we get there." Jordan said.
"Speaking of which, how close are we?" Ally asked.
"Really close, like less than 5 mins away. Though the directions on this are a bit weird."
"How so?"
"Cause they seem to be pointing, and I could be wrong, but they're guiding us to the forest." Jordan said.
"The forest? That is peculiar." Ally said.
Corona, Less than Five minutes later….
Jordan and Ally set their magic carpet down near the location and hid it by some bushes. It was a short walk, but they made it and what they saw in front of them, they really wasn't expecting it.
"Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Jordan said.
"It can't be." Ally said.
In front of them is The Tower. The same exact tower that Rapunzel was raised at by Mother Gothel. Since Gothel was turned to dust, it was abandoned, never to be used again, or so they thought.
"Are you sure this is the place?" Ally asked.
"These are the directions." Jordan checked her phone. "There's even pictures of the walkway to here."
"But that's ridiculous. This isn't a factory, or even a business building. Who would use The Tower as a hair product company?" Ally said.
"Guess we're gonna find out. Come on." Jordan said.
She leads the way with Ally in tow and they go went around to find the way in. They seem a doorway but with no door. They went in and found the stairs and decided to go up. It took a while, but they made it to the ceiling that the staircase ends. Jordan pushes the lose cobblestone and it opens up to the main rooms of the tower. They both climb up and takes in the view. Fireplace, kitchen, a couple of rooms. But what's interesting is it almost looks if someone's been staying here.
"I never thought I get to see this place." Jordan said.
"It's quite charming here, though at the same time, it's almost like we're in a prison." Ally said.
"That's because it was a prison, or did you forget Ruby's mom's story?" Jordan said.
"Right, but this is still strange." Ally said.
"In more ways than one."
That was when Ally noticed something else strange.
"Jordan, look over there." She said.
Jordan looks to see Ally walking towards a table with what looks like a chemistry set. Chemicals were still bubbling in their test tubs and containers of the hair products were next to them. There was even a measurement cups of some kind of power. Two sets of them, one with yellows power and another with light blue power and what looks like gravel mixed in with the blue power.
"Woah." Jordan said. "My genie senses are tingling."
"This has to be where the hair products are made from." Ally deduced.
"I'm seeing it, but I still don't believe it." Jordan said.
"And look at those." Ally said pointing to the jars of powder.
The jar with the yellow power says 'Sunflower Drop' and the other reads 'Moonstone Opal'.
"Sunflower Drop?" Ally reads.
"Moonstone Opal?" Jordan reads.
Then it hits them and they both said "SunMoon Dropal!"
"That's where the name comes from." Ally said.
"It's still not a good name." Jordan said.
"But I bet that these are the main ingredients of the hair products. The Sunflower Drop and the Moonstone Opal have magical properties in them." Ally said.
"That's right, the Sunflower Drop is what gave Rapunzel her long golden magic hair. It's used to heal people when she sings her song." Jordan adds.
"Meanwhile, the Moonstone Opal does the opposite and causes destruction by singing this incantation that's oppose from Sunflower Drop's incantation." Ally adds also.
Jordan gasps. "I bet that's how the whole mess started, but it's different because now any type of songs can be used to active their powers."
"But how's that possible?" Ally said.
"I might have the answer for that." A voice behind them said.
Jordan's and Ally's expressions went wide and they turned around to face the source of that voice. They gasped at the sight of the culprit.
It was a boy their age. Tall, dark leather trench coat, turquoise shirt and turquoise hair strands in front of his face.
"Zevon?!" Jordan and Ally exclaimed.
