On an island somewhere in the New World...
The Sunny had docked, next to an old rundown looking town and many of the Straw Hats were getting ready to disembark.
"OK so who's staying on the ship and who's getting off?" Nami asked, looking around at her crewmates.
"I'm in need of some new ingredients so I'll be going!" Sanji said, volunteering himself.
"I could use some new reading material!" Robin said, also volunteering.
"Meeeeeeaaaaaaat!" Said Luffy, pumping his fists in the air.
"I need to refill our Cola supplies!" Said Franky opening his chest to show he was running low.
Usopp took a look at the town. There something about this place that felt... ominous and haunting. He couldn't quite put his finger on it. He shivered at the thought of possible danger that could be lurking here.
"I'll stay and guard the ship!" He said volunteering to stay behind. "I think I'm coming down with 'I-can't-go-on-this-island-or-I-might-die' disease!" He said grabbing ahold of his stomach.
Luffy simply laughed and roughly patted him on the back. The others either looked unimpressed or completely ignored him.
Zoro eyed the town and narrowed his eyes, unimpressed with how it looked. "I'll stay behind as well!"
"Yeah! We wouldn't want you getting lost again! Mosshead" Sanji said taking a drag of his cigarette.
"WHAT YOU SAY TO ME CURLY BROWS?!" Zoro said pulling out one of his swords.
"You heard me!" Said Sanji getting all up in his face.
"KNOCK IT OFF YOU TWO!" Nami said smacking them both over the head. The two of them now lay in a heap on the ground.
"I'll go ahead and stay behind as well miss Nami-san!" Brook said raising a hand.
"I'm wanting to explore the waters around here! So I'll stay behind as well!" Jinbei said with a wave of his hand.
"I'll just go with Robin!" Chopper said raising a hoof.
"And I'm going to do some shopping!" Nami said at last.
Sanji stood right back up instantly. "I'LL GO WITH YOU NAMI-SWAN!" He said doing his weird dance, a big lump on his head.
"SHUT UP, YOU STUPID COOK!" Said Zoro getting up after him, an equally big lump on his head.
"WHAT YOU SAY?!"
"I TOLD YOU TWO TO KNOCK IT OFF!" Nami said once again smacking the two of them over the head. The two of were back to being in a heap on the ground now with even bigger lumps on their heads.
"Its settled then" Robin said speaking up. "We'll meet back here at sundown!" She said looking around at everyone.
The whole crew nodded in agreement and continued to disembark afterwords.

Meanwhile...
Elsewhere on the island...
In an old castle, high a top a mountain, a woman stood in front of the window staring down at the town below.
"Mi lady! Pirates have come ashore!" Said a maid servant as she opened the double doors.
"So I see!" She said scowling at the ship down below. She had long, silver gray hair and icey blue eyes. She wore an old fashioned soft blue dress with long sleeves and a brown vest on top. She looked to be in her early to mid 20s.
A noise from behind her drew her attention to the glowing crystal floating above the table.
The crystal itself was as black as night, within it, even from a distance, you could see what looked to be stars. Thousands upon thousands of them.
The woman's eyes widened. "What?! The Shade of Night is active?! That means..." She turned back to look at the pirate ship down by the docks, pressing her hands and face against the glass. A cruel smile worked its way up her face. "Anya! Start making the preparations! It's seems we have some esteemed guests on our island!"
An equally wicked and twisted smile worked itself up the maid's face. "As you wish, your highness!"
