Notes:
There is no Hermione in this episode because it will be a Severus-focused episode...

Nightfall,
1 hour later.
Albus Dumbledore, Minerva Mcgonagall and Severus Snape were standing in the headmaster's office and talking.
"You know he needs to be thrown." said Severus sternly.
"I know," Albus said calmly. "But I also know we can't expel him from school."
The topic of the conversation was what would happen to Draco Malfoy?
"Severus is right." said Minerva seriously. "He attempted murder."
"I know," He glanced between the two but stopped at Severus. "We know Tom has plans for Draco Malfoy. He'll be very angry if he gets expelled."
Severus shook his head. It always happened like this. Damn them all.
Meanwhile, there was a knock on the door. Dumbledore said, "Enter." Immediately after saying this, he opened the door himself with a spell.
Draco Malfoy was standing there.
"Come in, Mr. Malfoy."
Draco entered and stood solemnly across the table. "You have summoned me, Headmaster Dumbledore?"
"You know what you're here for, right?"
"I know."
"May I know why you are trying to kill Miss Granger?"
Draco's eyes hardened. "I wasn't trying to kill her. It was just a joke."
Severus rolled his eyes. It was a joke! It was frustrating to remember the past or experience many things in the form of déjà vu.
"Can you tell me what kind of joke this is, Mr. Malfoy?" Minerva asked sternly. "What you did as a joke almost caused someone's death."
"I wasn't going to leave her in the lake! I was just going to give her a little lesson and take her out immediately!"
Severus' face grew harder and harder. He took a deep breath to stay still and calm.
"But because of your little lesson, Miss Granger is in the hospital wing." said Minerva. "If her airway had not been opened, she would have died."
"I didn't want it to be like this!" he said angrily. "So what will happen to me now?"
"Don't worry, we won't expel you from school." said Dumbledore seriously. "But you will be punished. You cannot go to Hogsmeade for 3 months and you will be punished with Flich for 2 months."
"3 months." said Severus flatly and without showing any emotion.
Draco quickly looked at him. Why did he say that?
"I had sentenced him to 1 month with Filch. That's why I said 3 months."
"Well you can't go to Hogsmeade for 3 months and you will be grounded with Flich for 3 months."
Draco wanted to protest, but he didn't say anything because he might get kicked out. He didn't know what would happen or what would happen to him if he was expelled from school. "Good, can I leave?"
"Yes, you can leave. But remember, your punishment starts from today."
He quickly left the office without saying anything. He was very angry, but at least he was happy that he wasn't expelled from school.
"He should have been expelled from school." repeated Severus.
"I know, but it can't be thrown away." he said and his gaze became curious. "Why do you want someone from your own household to be expelled?"
Just as Severus was about to say something, his face contorted for a moment as the pain came from his left arm. He sighed, knowing he was being called. "I have to go." he said while holding his arm.
They both noticed. "I'll be waiting here, Severus." he said Albus.
He quickly left the office and started going down the stairs. He went out onto the school grounds and when he reached the apparation point, he quickly apparated to the Malfoy manor.
He was coordinating everything in his mind as he walked across the field. He had kept that little memory he had with Miss Granger in the most secret place. He also changed the punishment part of Draco.
When he entered the manor and went upstairs, he could not see any Death Eaters except three people.
The Dark Lord, Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Malfoy.
"My lord." he said while greeting.
"Welcome, Severus, sit down."
Severus sat down right next to him and clasped his hands in front of him. "May I know why you have summoned me, My Lord?"
"I was going to talk about the punishment given to Draco." he said with his serious face. "He attempted to kill that Mudblood. What punishment did the old man give?"
"We were talking about this right before you called. Draco wasn't expelled."
Tom raised an eyebrow. "Why didn't Albus expel Draco when one of his students was about to die?"
"Because of you, my Lord. He knows you have plans for Draco. If he expels Draco from school, it will be difficult for him to figure out your plans for him."
Tom caressed Nagini's head as he came to it. "What kind of punishment did he give?"
"He will be grounded with Flich for 3 months and will not be able to go to Hogsmeade for 3 months."
While Narcissa visibly relaxed, Lucius tried not to show his emotions.
"Come here, Severus."
Severus stood up and knelt next to him. And he waited for the headache to come.
It finally came.
Tom had dived into his mind and immediately went to that memory. He watched the whole punishment scene and stood back. "Stand up, Severus."
Severus stood up with a headache but didn't show he.
"Why did you increase the sentence from 2 months to 3?"
"As head of Slytherin, I had to punish Draco before Albus gave punishment. If I hadn't, Albus's eyes would have turned to me."
Tom's expression became thoughtful. "How's the mudblood doing?"
"Good, she'll be out of the hospital wing tomorrow morning."
"Is it true that you were the one who saved her?"
"That's right," he said flatly. "When I saw Draco throw someone into the lake, I had to intervene or he would be thrown into Azkaban for murder. I didn't even notice who the other person was."
"Watch out for Draco, Severus, don't let him make any mistakes."
He nodded instantly. "As you command, my Lord."
"You can go."
He saluted, then turned and walked away. He left the house and went into the garden, and when he got a little far away, he apparated. He breathed a sigh of relief as he appeared on the Hogwarts grounds.
He was relieved that he was not injured or tortured in any way.
Since it was not a very important issue, he decided to go to Albus later and started walking towards the Black Lake. He got off the familiar path and came to the Black Lake. He put his hands in his redingot and continued walking calmly.
He wasn't going to lie, it was a tough day.
He was a little tired, both physically and mentally.
He could get over the physical fatigue in a short time, but it looked like he wouldn't be able to get over the mental fatigue for a long time.
Of course, he also had emotions.
Feelings towards a person.
He didn't know what his feelings were for Granger. And he felt so disgusting. Even though no one knew that he knew, he knew that she had grown up because of the time turner and was now 18 years old.
She was of legal age.
But that still didn't stop him from feeling bad.
18 years.
There were exactly 18 years between them.
He was 36 and she was 18.
He felt disgusting but he couldn't help it. Of course, he wasn't stupid enough to tell her or show his feelings.
After all, who would look at the disgusting man, the bat of the dungeons?
Neither would Hermione Granger.
They were just strange feelings that he couldn't define within himself. He would live inside himself and say nothing.
He sighed deeply and looked around. He was standing where Granger had nearly died.
Where he felt the fear deep down.
Since he did not want to stay here any longer and had to answer to Albus, he started to return the way he came. He paused just as he was about to pass a rock.
He approached slowly and picked up the book that had fallen to the side on the ground. He checked it briefly and saw that it was related to the 6th year potions. Directly below it was written "Hermione Granger".
When he saw that the book belonged to her, he slowly opened the book and started to leaf through its pages. Most of the writings on the pages were underlined and the edges of every page, without exception, were filled with writings. Even though it looked like a complete mess, it was clearly coordinated.
He should have given this book to her.
Or he could have stayed with him.
He wanted to read every little detail that was written.
He carefully closed the book and put it under his arm. First he should tell Albus what happened, then go to his room and start reading.
And he took action.
