Hi! Looks like I made it this week, hopefully I'll be able to make it next week.
Just so you know I don't know if I'm ready for weekly updates yet, I'll try to though wish me luck next week.

A Vytal Break
At the ruins of the Crusader Armor Research facility, or more accurately the Silver Bullet's base there was one man in white armor on the ground.
"Those animals!" The soldier yelled. "Dr. Rockshow, he said that the Scourge could be contained! Damn liar!"
He was a soldier but also he was a member of the Silver Bullets, he barely managed to escape when the Scourge first arrived before they unleashed those monsters the doctor had created with his experiments.
The soldier wasn't far from the building when it exploded, thank god he had Aura before he joined the military, he failed the huntsman exams but at least it comes in handy for situations like this.
The soldier tried to stand up but to no avail, he was still in too much pain.
A footstep landed in front of him.
Oh no, did the Scourge just land in front of him?
He looked up scared of what may happen to him.
It was dark skin man with black hair and a mustache in a dark blue suit with a black shirt and tie. "Young man are you alright?" He knelt down with his hand down.
The soldier breathed a sigh of relief and took his hand. "I- th-thank you!" He was pulled up.
Arthur Watts pulled him up and gave a friendly smile. "What happened here, are you well?"
The Silver Bullet remembered the story that he and his comrades were told in case the Scourge could not be captured. "I- was guarding this laboratory when the Scourge of Anima lead the White Fang in here and destroyed the entire building!"
"Truly?" Arthur's eyes widened, he didn't expect the Scourge of Anima to be in Solitas.
"Yes! I saw him with that hideous mask of his, he and the rest of those animals came charging in to steal our greatest weapons!" Those weapons being the beasts the mad scientist had created.
This may complicate things, it looks as though he will need to test his project faster than he thought. Oh well, perhaps he can turn Atlas against the monster, all the while his Android will stockpile Aura until it will be ready to destroy him.
"Do you need help in finding your way to Atlas?" It's a shame that Watts had no intention on finding him.
"No! I'll be fine, I know a place where I can get an airship." He responded right away. "Now who are you and why are you here?" If his 'savior' saw anything contradicting to his story he was ordered to kill him.
Arthur said nothing and thought of what he said, Atlas will spread word of what happened here. And they will want to question the only soldier who survived, meaning he has the perfect disguise for his Android to use.
"I am a scientist making my way to Atlas to introduce a new weapon." Arthur responded with a smile.
"And you are?"
"Arthur Watts." He grinned. "And you?"
"Epeius Trojan." The soldier responded. "And this weapon?"
Arthur clapped his hands.
Behind him a tall metallic figure walked behind him, it had a single eye in the center of it's head and the body of an average man.
Epeius was confused seeing that and looked to Arthur. "Impressive but I don't know how it compares to Atlesian Knights."
"Perhaps, which is why I need a test subject."
Epeius looked confused and to his horror the robot stepped forward and grabbed his neck.
"Gah!" The soldier kicked trying to break free from it's grip.
Arthur smiled happy to see how his Canvas Android in action now it was time to see how his absorption works.
Epeius was coughing as the Android squeezed harder and harder, only his Aura was keeping him from breaking his windpipe, a light showed surrounding his right arm.
Then the Canvas Android started to change, it got shorter matching the soldier's height, then the armor.
Epeius's eyes widened as the robot finished changing.
It was like looking in a mirror.
The Android looked exactly like him now.
"Finish it."
The Canvas Android squeezed it's hand breaking the neck and killing him.
Arthur smiled as he placed his briefcase down and opened it.
An eyeball with tentacles floated out of the briefcase.
Inside the eye a familiar pale woman smiled. "So good to hear from you doctor, I take it your project had finished?"
Arthur politely bowed and gestured to his creation. "You can see for yourself my lady."
She looked at the Atlas soldier standing over another.
The 'soldier' changed to the blank looking Android for a moment before shifting back to Epeius's form.
"Fascinating" Salem said with a smile. "So this is why you requested for five blank Soul Dusts."
"Yes your Grace." Arthur responded. "This is just the beginning, my Canvas Android is able to steal Aura with a device in the palms of his hands."
The Android lifted his palm towards Salem, it changed showing a lime colored triangle shaped gem in the center.
"Magnificent, now are you ready to begin retrieving the item I requested?"
"Of course my lady." He responded. "I have a plan to both take what you desire and make my Android surpass even that monster Eclipse."
"A bold claim." Salem smirked. "I cannot wait to see it."
Arthur smirked and turned to the Canvas Android. "Head to Atlas, take as much Aura as you can without being detected."
It was finally time to infiltrate his old home.

Vale
Ozpin was sighing, he didn't think he'd be pushed to do this, but there was really no point in hiding it now. Salem knows damn well about their students mimicking Kron's abilities, hopefully she will never learn them for herself.
Wishful thinking truly.
The council was persistent anyway, it had to be done.
He looked in front to see Lisa Lavender who had a friendly smile. "So Ozpin have you made your decision?"
He felt as though there was no decision.
"After much deliberation, I have decided to allow Beacon's students to use what they have at their disposal." Ozpin answered, Taiyang had decided to not rob his daughters of the Vytal Festival after everything they went through.
"I see, and with these abilities do you think the other schools have a chance?" Lisa clearly wanted to entice a controversy to further her career.
And Ozpin answered as politely as he could. "All I will say is to keep my students from using their full abilities in this tournament is also disrespectful to the other schools, it should be seen as a way to inspire others to work harder."
What he said was perceived as completely fair by most.
"However I will say that the other schools are allowed to use any weapons they can at their disposal." Headmaster Ozpin said. "I have heard that Atlas has created a new armor that can augment the user's Aura, I am sure that the other Haven and Shade have their own merits as well."
In truth he was no so sure what they can do.
"How do you feel about General Ironwood having to stay in Atlas this festival?"
Yes, the council requested that after what had happened.
"I believe it is for the best." Ozpin would have preferred for Ironwood to come but due to his controversy it wasn't a good time.
"As you know there are those that believe that what General Ironwood had done was an absolute war crime attacking Vale soil with no warning, and there are those who believe he saved us from the Unmasked Beringel."
Behind her was a picture of giant ape with blood red eyes.
"What is your stance Headmaster Ozpin?"
Of course she is trying to start controversy, he can't blame her that was her job.
"I believe that James only acted with the best intentions, not believing there would be enough time for Vale's council to make a decision, however I do think he acted out of line, he as little clue as to what was happening as he did, we do not live in a world of black and white, only grey, it is for the best that he regains our trust and I have faith that he will." It was fair as he could make it. " I do hope he keeps his position."
"I see, I believe that this Vital Festival will be most interesting, I look forward to seeing if the other schools can compete."
Ozpin had a typical smile as he did knowing that it was better to just refrain from saying anything more, he did agree one thing with the reporter, it was going to be an interesting festival.

Team RWBY
Yang put her hands in the air. "Woo!" She was hyped at what she heard. "Hear that girls? We got the green light to blast the competition!"
Ruby had stars in her eyes hearing that. "Wow, I didn't think we'd get to do this, but uh, are you sure that it will be fair?" The shy Ruby asked.
"Hey!" The blonde grabbed her sister in her arm. "Like Ozpin said, it's unfair on us to hold back and disrespectful to them." She had a smile and then looked to Weiss. "Look at that Ice Princess, looks like you were wrong."
Weiss rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
"You got lucky Yang." The Heiress was annoyed at how cocky she was but then she smiled. "Still I guess it's good for all of us, winning the tournament just got so much easier."
"You bet it did!" Yang smiled as she put a fist in her palm. "And best of all I get that fight I wanted from Pyrrha, I was hoping to have a crowd for that fight." She was going to have so much fun.
"Don't think she'll be so easy." Weiss interjected. "Remember she was the only one who beat you in combat class, maybe you could've beaten her before but now that she has it you better not play around like you usually do."
"Yeah, yeah" Yang said nonchalantly but she knew it was true. She hadn't got a chance to fight Pyrrha since her Ki training, and she doesn't know if she can beat her. All the more reason she was looking forward to taking her on.
But something caught her eye, she turned to her partner.
Blake wasn't saying anything which meant she was lost in dangerous thoughts.
"Hey" Yang called out to her partner. "You good? Your not still thinking of Adam are you?"
Blake turned to her and nodded. "Just a bit, sorry."
Yang sighed. "Man, I really hope that Sun teaches you to relax a bit, hopefully he can balance you out."
The Cat Faunus blushed hearing that and crossed her arms.
"Speaking of, don't think of going easy on him, I think you should show him who's wearing the pants in that relationship." Yang said with a teasing smile.
"Shut up." Blake sighed as she looked away.
Yang giggled happy to get her friend to react that way showing that she was alright.
"And look, I know your uppity about Adam, but you know that we'll help you if he ever comes back ok?" She asked.
Blake looked at her teammates who smiled as well showing their support.
"Yeah, your right, let's see if we can win this." She said doing her best to match Yang's energy.
"That's the spirit!" Yang said smiling and pulling in her teammates in a hug.
Blake shouldn't be as down as she was, she managed to overpower Adam Taurus himself, if she can do it, Yang would have knocked him out in one punch. She's sure that she can capture Adam and put him on the right path.
If he wants to.
Speaking of someone who went the right path, she also thought of Kron. She was happy to hear from her father that he actually went to him even though it was only to look for some criminal who attacked him.
Blake only hoped that Kron wasn't putting himself in any trouble.

Solitas
Kron stood looking at all the Faunus he rescued from the Silver Bullets. He wasn't sure what to make of this, he never thought these people would take his side even if temporarily.
Neo smiled over at Kron and gestured him to speak to the Lizard, her smile seemed strange to the Saiyan.
He turned to the Lizard Faunus who spoke to him. "Tell them I'm not interested in your help and to go to Ghira." He did not want to have to watch over more people, he was already annoyed that he was stuck with Roman.
The Lizard Faunus was going to respond but the thief got in his way.
"Wait, wait wait" Roman interjected. "Look let's not just throw away their offer to help yet, let's try to see what they can offer." He reasoned and turned to the Lizard. "So, are you in charge of the group?"
"No" The Lizard Faunus responded. "I am a mere scout, our real leader chose to remain silent until it was time." He looked to the Scourge of Anima. "I beg you speak to him before you decide to push us away."
Kron sighed, he turned to Roman.
"As someone who worked with the White Fang I promise they'd be an asset." And they were really useful puppets being animals and all.
"Bring him out, which of you is in charge."
The other Faunus turned their heads to a tall individual sitting at the campfire in the middle of the camp.
He was a young man with grey hair in a ponytail and a claw scar on his right eye, he wore a white top and silver pants and boots. He stood up showing a grey wolf tail and walked towards the young Saiyan.
Once he stopped he looked down at Kron and introduced himself. "My name is Lycan Grey, I was the commander of the unit here, it is an honor to meet you, Scourge of Anima."
Kron scoffed hearing that. "Honor, I doubt that you mean that given what I did in Vale."
Lycan growled hearing that but he sighed composing myself. "I will admit, there is bad blood between us, you captured Adam Taurus and had the rest of us scattered to the wind, which lead to us being captured by the Silver Bullets." He squeezed his fists fighting the urge to attack him.
The Saiyan didn't care he knew damn well he can't do a thing to him.
"But" The Wolf Faunus regained control. "You also freed us even if by Ghira's request, you are the first of our kind to successfully land a blow on the Silver Bullets, something Ghira couldn't do, not Sienna Khan, and not even Adam. After watching the horrid experiments they have done to us, you are our only chance at stopping the Silver Bullets for good, so we want to help you find them."
'First of our kind.' Kron fought not to chuckle at that, he should get around to revealing someone of his real species.
Kron can see the motives and understand them. But he needed to make sure. "If you want to help me find them then there's something you should know." He rose a thumb pointing to Roman. "I was only able to capture Adam thanks to Roman giving me information."
The thief looked angrily at Kron before smiling nervously at the Wolf Faunus and the others who were listening in.
"Now hold on!" Roman said. "I don't know what he's talking about."
Neo glared at Kron for exposing that bit of information.
Lycan glared at the thief before turning to Kron. "I see, so that was how, if nothing else I appreciate the honesty, so until the end of our alliance I am still willing to work with you."
"So that's what this is? An enemy of my enemy?" Seems like a fragile alliance, but it could be what he needed to find his pod.
"Yes, give us a few days, I assure you we can gather information faster than Roman could."
"Hmm, fine, you can try, but one more thing Roman is under my protection for the time being so control yourself around him, otherwise our alliance won't be the only thing broken."
Roman clicked his tongue but shrugged his shoulders he rather he would have kept quite about his involvement but at least he can still count on the Scourge's protection.
Neo smiled at Kron for those words but he ignored it feeling strange about how she was acting around him.
"Very well, you probably would have ruined us without him to." Lycan reasoned. "So we are in agreement?"
"Yes, it's a deal, but as soon as you hold me back I will send you to Ghira by force." Kron declared with his arm extended to him.
He shook Lycan's hand welcoming this temporary alliance, all while Roman grins despite the danger the White Fang represented to him, he can work his way to have Kron start his new gang to settle with.

Far Away
Dr. Rockshow looked at a vial of blood, behind him was Amaranth standing with his arms crossed.
The scientist placed the drop of blood in a a glass and typed on his computer.
A hologram showed a DNA strand.
"Let's take a closer look at this." Dr. Rockshow grinned as he kept typing.
Amaranth just stayed mute not sure what to expect.
"This should tell me his ancestry and possible family we can use to lure him here." The mad scientist was looking forward to having the leverage he needed to capture him.
'Inconclusive'
"Hm?" Rockshow had a confused look, he put a hand on his monocle as he looked at the DNA. "Not possible."
Amaranth wasn't sure what to make of this. "Does this mean you haven't captured any member of his family or…" He paused not being a man of science. "Have you never gotten samples of those like him."
"Not possible." Dr. Rockshow scoffed. "Here let me cross reference this with Monkey Faunus DNA."
A hologram of a Monkey Faunus with a hologram of Kron stood side by side.
The computer showed a loading screen.
'Mismatch, Monkey Faunus 0% in common with subject's DNA sample.'
"Pardon?" Rockshow's jaw practically hit the floor.
Even Amaranth showed a reaction to the phenomenon. He knew that the Scourge wasn't normal but he didn't think of this. "Doctor, what does this mean?"
Fort Lee Rockshow had made many discoveries in his research but nothing like this. "This makes no sense, whatsoever, I was expecting him to be some sort of mutant Faunus but not this. Oh my, he's so different from what I expected, he's not a mere animal, this boy, this creature is something that no one has discovered to walk on this Remnant."
Dr. Rockshow smiled. "Until now."
Things were getting so much more interesting, the experiments he can perform with this sample. Perhaps he can try to see if he can make enhancements with this DNA.
"Doctor" Amaranth got his attention. "I am happy for your discovery, however I think it is time for us to start our plan with Phase 3."
Dr. Rockshow composed himself. "Right, right" He giggled as he typed on his computer.
On a screen showed footage of the Scourge of Anima with White Fang members running through the lab filled with corpses of dead Faunus.
"You know, while whatever this abomination is a freak of nature, more so than the animals that plague humanity, we have to thank him." Rockshow grinned. "He is our first step to taking Atlas into more capable hands." He glanced over at Amaranth.
The red head squeezed his fists, clearly anxious for this plan.

Vale
Days passed and the moment was finally here.
Up above the bustling city of Vale was a floating structure.
It was an enormous airborne colosseum with an inverted cone shape, with a very large Dust crystal that tapers to a point. Above the crystal was two levels of docking bays for Air Buses to offload passengers who were excited to see.
Inside the structure were seats for incredibly large crowds surrounding a large arena in the center.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome kingdoms of Atlas, Vacuo and Mistral! To the long anticipated Vital festival!"
The audience cheered.
"Now here is the first match of the tournament!" The excited Professor Port yelled. "First we have Shade Academy's Team ABRN!"
The team consisted of two boys and two girls. A young man wearing a yellow garb over a black gi, another with pink hair wearing a white coat with gold on the edges over a black shirt, a young woman with green hair with black marks under her eyes, she was wearing a hoodie over short sorts with knee pads, she was dressed like a skater, and another with blonde hair with a yellow gi with dark skin.
"These four are among the finest students, with the Golden Lion Arslan among them." He announced. "Do they have what it takes to contend with our home team?!"
The entrance for home showed with four familiar girls.
"These four were seen on the video that had gone viral not too long ago! The first seen with the greatest powers you have ever seen!" Professor Port was definitely bias. "Meet the one and only! Team RWBY!"
Yang grinned as she waved at the crowd, Ruby looked happy but she seemed to be shy, Blake only had a hand on her weapon ready for the fight and Weiss looked at Yang for some reason.
"Remember Yang, try not to go overboard." Weiss advised not wanting to get kicked out of the tournament for any of her foolishness.
"It'll be fine, Ice Princess, I'm gentle with our classmates aren't I?"
"Gentle' isn't how I would phrase it Yang." Blake retorted.
The four made it to the ring and stood in front of their opponents.
Team ABRN stared at Team RWBY one of them gulped seeing the video.
The blonde grabbed the pink haired one's shoulder. "Stay calm, we won't win if your nervous."
"I mean we're fighting four people that can shoot lasers and fly, you think we can?"
Arslan grunted at her teammates cowardice. "At least try."
"Hi, hope we can have a good match." Ruby said as friendly as she could.
"The same for us." Arslan responded and politely bowed.
Just then the announcer spoke again.
"It is time, be ready for the battle to begin, ready yourselves!" Professor Port yelled.
The arena began to change, in ABRN's half was a forest, in Team RWBY's half was a wasteland.
"Now match begin!"
Team ABRN immediately attacked first knowing that they likely had little chance if they waited for a team that is likely stronger than them make the first move.
Yang was in front of Arslan as she was getting closer.
Arslan was about to to throw a fist for her chin.
But the blonde landed a fist across her jaw.
Arslan landed into the ground, the floor cracked under the weight of which she was struck and her Aura shattered, up above on the screen showing their Aura levels the young woman was already down to zero.
Yang looked down at Arslan who wasn't getting up. "Um"
"Yang! What did I tell you?!" Weiss yelled.
Arslan's other teammates all looked at Arslan seeing her on the ground.
"What I tried going easy!" She yelled in her defense and was relieved seeing she was still breathing.
"Arslan is out of the match!" Professor Port yelled.
Weiss rolled her eyes as she blocked a staff headed for her head, she then pushed it back with minimal effort, she then aimed her sword down and used a black Glyph.
The staff user Bolin hit the ground unable to move.
Only the green haired skater and the pink haired man were left, two were already down, clearly there was only one choice.
Reese raised her hands and so did Nadir.
"We give up!" Nadir yelled not wanting to risk a concussion.
"Huh?" Ruby asked sadly not having to do anything.
Blake shrugged her shoulders and put her sword in it's sheath.
"Team ABRN has given up, Team RWBY will now advance to the doubles round!"
Yang waved at the crowd and smiled before looking down and offering a hand up to Arslan who was just regaining consciousness.
It might take a while for them to find a challenge in this tournament, still she should really hold her strength back a bit.

VIP Room
Ozpin couldn't help but frown at the sight, on the one hand he was happy to see how far they have come, on the other he wasn't a fan of the other students not really having a chance. Another reason he tried to sway the council to forbid it.
The door behind him opened and he sighed. It was time for the hard of the day. He turned to the guests and smiled. "Hello, I'm happy you three made it."
"Greetings headmaster Ozpin." Winter introduced herself with a forced smile at her sides were two men.
One was a man with white hair and a beared like a lion's mane, as well as a lion's tail.
"It has been a long time Ozpin, I- I'm happy to see you." The fellow headmaster greeted in a timid tone.
"Indeed, Leo, I'm glad to have finally see you, I was surprised to know you would be coming."
"Mistral's council practically forced me." He laughed nervously, though someone else may have 'persuaded' him.
Ozpin nodded before turning to the other man. "Theadore."
"Ozpin" He was a man with dark skin with black hair a mustache and a stubble wearing a white shirt with a blue sleeveless jacket. "I'm the same as Leo, my councilmen wouldn't stop demanding me to come. Though I must admit I am excited to learn all I can about these new abilities you have found."
Ozpin smiled seeing him over enthusiastic and looked to Winter. "How is James faring."
"Fair enough I suppose." Winter said crossing her arms.
"Winter I will do what I can to help James keep his position, if it helps I understand why he did it."
The eldest Schnee nodded, she didn't like that she had to come in Ironwood's place until they get him sorted.
"Now, I suppose I don't need to tell you all that the council want me to keep these techniques secret, they would like me to convince your councilman to lower prices to their goods."
"Ah" Theodore placed a hand on his face. "Of course they would, men in power never want to share do they?"
"B-but" Leo continued. "You will share this ability with us won't you?" The Lion Faunus asked. "After all it will be beneficial to us all, and even all of mankind to have usage of it."
Ozpin looked at Leo and couldn't help but think of a couple things, for one why is Leo coming now? After not messaging him important events such as the Spring Maiden and refusing contact for two years.
And why he seemed eager to learn this power? The Leo he knew would ask if there were any risks of it first.
"Leo's got the right idea." Theodore said smiling. "Come on Ozzy, we all gotta level up, that way we can put the Big One on the back-foot."
Theodore made a good point and was being his enthusiastic self.
Winter said nothing knowing that Ironwood was banned from learning this ability until further notice. Both by Ozpin's group and the councilman.
"I assure you I do have plans to share my ability with you, regardless what the council says." It was for the best, but still he couldn't let go of any suspicion towards Leo, though he kept that to himself. "And I do mean all of you." He looked at the Winter Maiden.
Winter was surprised to hear that and elated, he seemed to genuinely want to help her General. Still she is here to represent Atlas she had something else on her mind, she needed to see her sister. "I appreciate that, now please excuse me, I need to take care of a family matter."
Ozpin nodded as Winter left.
"She's alright right?" Theodore asked. "I hate to be in her shoes."
"As would I." Ozpin responded while eyeing Haven's headmaster. "Now Leo, while I am happy to finally see you, I would like you to tell me everything that's happened since we last talked."
"Of course Ozpin, I have been tremendously busy, so sorry for being out of contact." Leo responded as timid as usual.

The Vytal Festival continued, the last of the team matches were here.
Team JNPR was fighting against Team CRDL.
At first Cardin was more than happy to have this match. Sure Nikos can take on his entire team (because she was lucky) but another round where he can beat down that wimp Arc? That was fine by him.
At least that's what he thought.
Cardin slammed his mace down at Jaune but it was blocked by his shield.
He was trying to take him down but he hasn't gotten a hit in once, every hit was blocked, he aimed for his legs blocked, his right side blocked, he wasn't just strong he was fast!
Jaune was freaking out he hadn't sparred against Cardin in a long time but he remembered the outcome so his response was to block for his life.
He looked at his teammates wondering how they were doing his jaw hit the floor.
"Jauney!" Nora yelled standing over Dove who was seeing stars. "What are you waiting for, we're done already?"
Cardin stopped and turned. "Huh?" His teammates were on the ground unconscious in the few minutes he was fighting Jaune.
In the stands Team RWBY could be seen smiling.
"See Yang?" Weiss pointed out. "That's how you control yourself, take notes."
"Ugh I get it, just drop it." Yang was getting fed up by her constantly telling her to do so.
"I'm surprised Nora didn't just fire energy at anyone." Blake said.
"I think Ren threatened no pancakes if she went overboard." Ruby responded.
"Good to see that Team CRDL didn't learn Ki, they probably would've been throwing their weight around every Faunus."
Blake agreed with that sentiment.
While Team JNPR, any one of them could have knocked down Team CRDL, they decided to allowed Jaune to fight Cardin on his own, for therapeutic reasons.
Cardin couldn't believe that his team was this outclass. "Wait, are you like those freaks from Team RWBY?" They had those powers to? He looked to Jaune who was still hiding behind his shield. "Oh hell no!" He slammed his mace down several times not wanting to be beaten by Jaune.
The Arc was nervous he did have Ki training under Ozpin but he couldn't' really do anything with it. No matter what he tried he couldn't fly an inch off the ground or make a spark of energy in hand, all he could do was physical training with hopes of learning to access it.
Still he seemed to be able to tank Cardin's attacks way better than before.
Maybe he should try hitting back.
Jaune bashed his shield against Cardin's face making him step back.
The Arc then slashed down his weapon trying to focus his Aura into it forcing him to the ground.
Cardin hit the ground looking up at Jaune, his Aura shattered from those few hits.
Jaune couldn't believe it, he brought Cardin down?
"All of Team CRDL has drained their Aura reserves, Team JNPR wins the Team bout!"
Pyrrha watched proudly as Jaune defeated Cardin with little to no difficulty, while he hasn't leaned Ki he has truly attained benefits from Ozpin's training.
Jaune couldn't help but smile and raised his hands up along with Nora who was so happy for her fearless leader.
In the seats Team RWBY was cheering for their preferred classmates.
"Never thought I'd see the day where Vomit Boy can take on Cardin." Yang said with a smile.
"I mean he does have Pyrrha in his team Yang." Ruby chimed in. "Plus wasn't Ozpin training their team?"
"Does he even possess Ki?" Weiss asked. "He didn't seem to know what he was doing."
"He might not be able to use it like we can, I don't think Jaune had the same basic training we had." She wondered how he got accepted into Beacon, she's not trying to be mean, it's just ever since their year started he always seemed too far behind almost like he got forged transcripts. But she doubts he'd have the guts or stupidity to do something like that.
"Still he could have done better." Weiss said harshly.
"Come on Weiss Cream." Yang put a hand on her shoulder. "I know he annoyed you with how much he tried to woo you, but he did help you and Neptune get a dance."
The heiress rolled her eyes, though she did have a point, plus the blonde seemed to keep his distance ever since the dance, maybe she should go easier on him now. Besides, he seemed more focused on Pyrrha these days, she feels she can do much better but he has his own merits she supposes.
Just then her scroll shook, she looked at it and sighed. "I'll be right back."
"What's wrong?" Ruby asked.
"Just, need to talk to my sister." Weiss replied as she walked out of the seatings while Team JNPR celebrated their victory.

Weiss walked up some stairs until she made it to who messaged her.
"It's good to see you again." A mature woman spoke.
Weiss looked ahead to see who messaged her.
It was an older looking Weiss with her hair in a bun.
"Winter" Weiss smiled as she walked to her.
Winter was happy to see her they shared a hug, despite their past conversation they were still happy to see one another.
The sisters would at first catch up, as if they were still on good terms.
Though eventually one of them would address the Goliath in the room.
"Weiss" Winter paused. "About the video."
Weiss knew that she'd bring it up and was scared to find out.
"Who taught you?" She asked.
"Yang" Weiss said readily. "Ozpin he-"
"I know, he asked you to keep it quiet." She responded right away. "You still have to keep secrets don't you?"
Weiss felt guilty she had promised that she'd be honest from now on but she still followed Ozpin's word and kept quiet about her new abilities even though it killed her to keep it from her sister.
"I thought it would make you more determined to take me home." Weiss said.
The elder sister had a straight face hearing her say that, she understood Ironwood asked her to be quiet about her own power.
"About coming home…"
Weiss was ready to argue once again though she was mentally exhausted from this and hoped they had moved past this.
"You need to stay here."
This surprised the Heiress, she looked up at her with stupefied. She never thought she'd hear that from her.
"Why the change of heart?"
She couldn't have regained confidence from Ozpin so quickly.
"It's father" Winter squeezed her fists. "He saw the video to, he now wants you home more than ever now that he knows what you are capable of."
Her father, he hadn't contacted her since he left. He even canceled her credit card, as she painfully learned when she tried to treat her team to food.
"He claims that it's too dangerous for you to remain here, but I know what he's up to." Winter looked out the window. "He intends to use your knowledge of this power to pull sway with the council, he wants to monopolize your power by having you teach other huntsmen and huntresses to strengthen Atlas's military."
It made sense their father was always an opportunist. Once he saw his daughter with these powers he would see it as a boon rather than feel concerned about his daughter.
Weiss felt a chill, the same she always felt growing up underneath that household. Even now he seeks ways to use her for his own gain.
"Doing that would give him the means to remove Ironwood from his position, worse still he would have a say in who would be general, someone who is in his pocket, but most importantly" She turned to her sister. "He could have the council to have the military keep you from leaving Atlas at all costs. You would never be able to leave home again."
This disturbed the young Schnee, her father was always cold and calculating but she never considered he would go this far for his greed.
"This can't be true, would he really go that far?" She was disgusted hearing all this.
"He would" Winter said sadly.
The younger sister shook her head feeling sadness that her father continued to see her as a tool to be used, he doesn't seem to fathom any love whatsoever for her. She knew he said that he married for the Schnee name but she thought he had felt something for his children at least.
And she felt rage for how cold this man could be, he truly was a cold blooded business man.
"Weiss" Winter placed her hands on Weiss's shoulders.
The younger sister looked up to Winter with a distraught look.
"Listen, you and i have our disagreements about Kron. I am thankful for him saving your life, however when I see him I will act accordingly as he is still wanted in Atlas." She admitted. "But you are my sister and I value your safety and happiness above my duty to our kingdom. As you said so long as your at Beacon you are an adult, so I need you stay in Beacon until I find away to insure our father can't imprison you."
Weiss looked up her sister in shock, she didn't even argue about Kron.
"Your helping me even after all the lying?"
"I kept my own secrets to." Winter responded realizing what a hypocrite she was being. "I have no right to be angry at that, even so I can't standby and allow father to make you a prisoner out of your own home, I'm going to do my part to make sure father doesn't get his way. Do you trust me?"
Weiss was taking all this in and nodded.
"I do"
"Ok, for this to work I need you to be honest from now on, I want to know when you encounter Kron, when you discover a new ability, or if anyone is after you weather it's Kron or an enemy, doing that will allow me to help you, can you do that?"
The younger sister nodded her head and she looked up at Winter.
"Thank you Winter, I'm sorry for all our fighting, all the secrets."
"No matter what, I will always have your best interest at heart Weiss, remember that." Winter said giving her sister another hug.
Weiss returned it, they have disagreements about the situation but Winter will always have her back.
One thing was for sure, she wasn't going to let father ruin her life.

Kron was floating over the camp of White Fang that decided to help him with his cause. He wasn't sure how to feel about this, he knew they had all the motives to help him but he didn't expect them to do it. He also told Ghira that he'd save them, it made him think he had to babysit them which annoyed him.
"Scourge!"
The Saiyan looked down to see Lycan looking up at him, he gestured him to come down.
He stood in front of him with his arms crossed. "Anything new Lycan?"
"No" The Wolf Faunus responded. "I only wanted to say that you do not need to watch over us, we have the weapons and numbers to fight back whatever the Silver Bullet send us, we are an asset to you, not a liability."
"You got captured." Kron pointed out. "What's to stop that from happening now?"
"We were captured because we were divided, they caught us in small groups. Together it cannot be done s easily."
The Saiyan felt like it was a good enough explanation.
"Fine, but it's been days and you still haven't found anything."
"Patience, the Silver Bullets were a myth before, it's only that we realize that they are real, I assure you we just need less than a week." Lycan explained.
Kron shrugged his shoulders finally giving in.
"Come on kiddo, take the help you can get."
He turned to see Roman walking towards him, Neo also smiling while tilting her head.
"As I said we need the help, just give them time, I've worked with the White Fang and their good at getting dirt anywhere." He said smiling.
Neo put her umbrella behind her head and smiled at him.
As usual Kron couldn't understand what she was 'saying'
"Like Neo said, just sit back and relax, you'll get your time, just head back to the hotel and let them do their work." He was only here because he wanted to make sure Kron was near him to keep him safe as they agreed.
Kron realized that he was right, he doesn't know where to go and it'd be smarter to let them do their work.
"Hmm, fine, I'll leave you to it." He then replied something. "By the way, what day is it?"
They looked at him strangely not expecting that question. "Today's May 24th, why?" Roman asked confused.
Now's a better time than ever, hopefully it wasn't too late.
"Alright, I got somewhere to be." Kron turned and started to float.
"Where" Roman demanded.
He growled annoyed, he turned to Lycan. "Can you get some of your men to guard these two?"
Lycan just as confused only nodded wondering what else was urgent to him.
"Good, I should be back in a few days, Roman don't do anything stupid." He started floating.
"Hey" Roman yelled. "Get back here you can't just- and he's flying away." He sighed, now he was pretty much helpless with just regular animals guarding him.
Oh well, at least they got meat shields, still, what was he doing?

Atlas
James was watching the Vital Festival on a screen, he didn't feel slighted for having to remain at home, it was justified, watching how well his students were doing with the Crusader Armor, even against Beacon's now powerful students.
But now Salem is aware of their powers, that makes her more dangerous no doubt she will try to take it for herself.
If only he hadn't acted so rashly that day. But how could he not? That monster was destroying everything in it's way, for all he knew it could have made it's way to Vale and they would be in a worse situation.
No, he didn't know the whole situation he should have questioned why the 'Unmasked Beringel' was killing the alleged Grimm King, he had no right to launch that bomb without warning, civilians or no civilians.
He needs to come to terms with the fact that he may lose his position and may never reclaim it.
Just as he accepted his fate he received a call.
He pressed a button showing a hologram of a soldier.
"General, I have a report, the Crusader Armor Research Facility has been destroyed!"
James heard that and panicked. "By what?"
"We received footage from Dr. Rockshow."
On the screen showed a video, making Ironwood sweat seeing his worst fears.
It showed the Scourge of Anima running with Faunus armed with weapons, over corpses of dead scientists and soldiers.
"The Scourge of Anima is now leading the White Fang, they attacked and murdered everyone within, all that's left of the lab is rubble."
The video continued with the laboratory crashing down with the Scourge standing over it.
Watching it Ironwood was in fear, he suspected he was a member of the White Fang given the mask. But after what Ozpin had told him this made no sense, he stopped the White Fang in Vale, why would they be working together.
"The council has been informed, Dr. Rockshow has said he will have more details in a meeting, he said he was in the building as well and only barely escaped."
Rockshow, this didn't match the Scourge's MO and he had his suspicions with him he never did see eye to eye with him.
Given what he knew from Ozpin it was clear that this was some ploy the scientist concocted, the question is what game is he playing and how can he convince the council that was the case?
"General there's something else, the council has said they want you to send the Ace Operatives to investigate the area, they want him captured as soon as possible."
Ironwood knew it wouldn't be a smart move, there was more to this and they were going to make the Scourge Atlas's enemy. He may not be the monster they all believed, but he wasn't exactly on Ozpin's side either.
But for now he must go along with the Council's demands, he was already on thin ice.
"Understood, let the council know I will do it."
The hologram vanished leaving Ironwood with his thoughts.
If things go wrong, the Scourge, Kron may cripple their forces, he has the power to do it.
But if Ozpin said was true that he can be reasoned with than there was only thing that could save Atlas and focus their efforts on the real threat.
He… will need to find a way to inform the Scourge that he knows they are being manipulated.

Vale
The Vytal Festival continued into the doubles round leading to more predictable matches.
Since they did not get the chance to participate at all in the team round, Blake and Ruby tried their hand at the doubles round.
Their opponents were two other Beacon students. Coco Adel a woman dressed in fashionable brown outfit, and Yatsuhashi Daichi, both were second year students and they would have been given an edge.
If it wasn't for Ki.
Ruby with her rapid speed attacked Coco with rapid speed.
The upperclassman tried to block with her mini-gun, she managed to telegraph these attacks but not long into the fight, her mini-gun was cut in half.
"Oops" Ruby pulled back her scythe. "Uh, sorry."
Coco sighed. "Better to go out fighting." She reasoned herself as she tried to attack with her Mini gun.
Ruby practically turned into rose petals and slammed the back of her scythe at the back of her head, forcing the girl to hit the ground.
Blake blocked the large sword of Yatsuhashi, she then knelt down and swept kicked him before she slammed the back of her Gambol Shroud against his face knocking him out.
And just like that they won the doubles round.
And now it lead to the single rounds which would have a more unpredictable match.

Yang stretched as she got ready for the semi finals, just this one fight and then she can start the finals.
First she has to get past someone who may actually pose a problem.
"Hello sister of Ruby!" Penny waved with a smile. "I hope we can have a fun match."
"Heh, Ruby told me about you, also I did see you in action." She was able to fight against Sienna and that Sepia lady at once, she wondered how well she would do especially with that weird armor. "Same here Penny."
"Now we have the semi finals, the winner advances to the final round! Penny Polendina vs Yang Xiao Long! Fight with honor!" Professor Port yelled with vigor. "May the match begin!"
Yang ran forward with a smile, she can finally let loose and it was before fighting 'her'.
Penny spread her arms showing swords behind her back, Floating Array, swords that she can control with string sized cables that were on her back, she controlled them as well as a puppet master.
Yang threw her left fist but the Android turned her head, she then tried to throw a fist towards her stomach.
But Penny caught it with both hands and she was forced to stumble back, she was surprised by the amount of force at that punch. She was made of the strongest alloys Atlas can forge and yet she can feel the power of this punch.
The golden boxer then rose her leg up planning to high kick Penny. She learned how to properly kick thinks to her father furthering her training.
Penny jumped back and rose her right arm swiping multiple swords alongside her arm.
Yang leaned back just avoiding the swords, she threw a fist to her chin, but the Android was able to dodge it, Penny then tried to strike back but Yang used her Ember Celica to block all the swords at once.
Penny then swiped a hand down as her blades rose and tried to cut Yang from above.
The blonde side stepped them all and got behind Penny, she tried to use her father's specialty and threw a rabbit punch down the back of her skull.
But the Android ducked underneath and rolled away.
Yang growled, she can never land that.
Penny then stood back up and swiped her left arm across making the blades swipe across.
Yang ducked underneath and threw a fist into Penny's stomach forcing her to keel over, she then threw a vicious uppercut sending her up, the blonde then used her Ki to fly.
Penny rose her blades to try to attack her from mid air.
But with great speed Yang evaded the blades and then slammed her fists down Penny's head.
Penny crashed into the ground cracking the ground beneath her. She had been enhanced since the encounter with the Scourge of Anima, including her built in Crusader Armor, and still Yang was capable of damaging her.
Yang raced down to throw a punch down where she was laying.
Her opponent jumped back as the the blonde slammed into the ground making the crater bigger.
The Android then slammed a kick into her stomach forcing her to skit back.
Yang stopped herself from being pushed further and looked ahead and saw the swords aiming at her and firing green lasers.
She blocked unable to dodge all of them, she'll start stockpiling energy with her Semblance, ever since she learned Ki she can feel the energy and manage it better.
As a dust cloud surrounded her she looked around, she was about to fly out but then blades slashed at her stomach.
Penny could see through the smokescreen thanks to her night vision.
Yang's Aura and Ki protected her but she felt the sharp pain and stumbled back.
Then the blades swiped across her body again then Penny kicked her head, she wasn't used to fighting like this but against her she'll have to get used to close combat.
This forced Yang to fall on the ground, she jumped up over the smoke to avoid being sneak attacked.
But to her surprise Penny also flew up and she brought her hand forward as a sword levitated towards her.
"Whoa!" Yang leaned back, she looked at her wondering how she can fly.
At Penny's boots was fire, clearly being jets that little did she know they were built into her. Just another upgrade her father provided for her.
The Android then lifted her hand and the blades connected by their grips like a top, she then tossed it towards her like a spinning shuriken.
Yang flew down to avoid it and she fired a Ki blast at it.
But the blades divided and headed towards her.
The blonde evaded most of the blades but one manage to clip her shoulder and damaged her Aura.
Though not much, she turned to Penny with a smile. "Not bad got any other tricks?"
Penny giggled. "Wait and see." She spread her blades apart and sent them towards Yang in different directions.
Yang watched as the blades headed for her, she threw a fist up one of them forcing it up she then tilted her head avoiding it, she then clapped her hands stopping a blade from cutting into her shoulder.
Then the other swords fired multiple green energy blasts.
Yang raced towards Penny in an attempt to attack her while her weapons were away.
The blonde threw a fist towards her chin.
Penny's swords levitated in front to block the attack.
But then Yang used a trick Ozpin taught her to get the jump on Kron.
She immediately changed direction and slammed her fist into Penny's gut making her green Aura glowed, the blonde then kicked her side.
Penny rose an arm.
The swords dashed towards Yang from behind.
The blonde turned and fired a KI blast towards them wanting to avoid her hair being cut.
The blades separated and surrounded Yang and Penny.
Penny then flew backwards leaving Yang alone with the surrounding the blades, she then fired her energy blasts in all directions.
Yang growled she couldn't dodge and had to block as much as she could, she then flew towards Penny once again.
But the ginger saw this coming the blades pulled back and appeared in front of her acting like a shield.
The blonde looked at her but she glanced upward real quick. She can see her Aura was still in the green and was already recovering, it must be due to that Crusader Armor she has.
Two of Penny's swords were slashed towards Yang's shoulders.
Yang rose her hands using her Ember Celica blocking the blades.
Penny used this chance to kick into her stomach.
The blonde retaliated with a back hand from her left hand she then threw multiple punches into her stomach.
But then one of her levitating swords slashed up cutting her face and forcing her head to go back.
Penny then used her right jet boot and lifted her foot up making a devastating high kick, she then slammed it down also powered by her jet boots.
But Yang recovered and rose her arms blocking the jet powered kick.
Penny used her Floating Array to attack Yang at both sides.
The blonde pushed back the leg and flew back just avoiding the pincher attack.
Penny then stabbed two her swords into the ground, she then dashed towards her with her jet boots.
Yang dashed towards her to.
Once they were within striking distance, Yang threw a fist.
But Penny smiled and used the strong on her blades on the ground to pull her down just before the punch landed.
The Android then then brought her hands together.
Yang was surprised to see her other swords swipe at her, her body was slashed in multiple directions, her clothing and skin was only defended by her Ki and Aura. "Hey watch the hair!" She was feeling pain but she didn't want to lose any hair.
Once the blades floated by her sides she then fired lasers from multiple angles.
This time Yang had a different approach instead of trying to block she threw a fist against each Light Dust projectiles, her fists burned but coated in both Aura and Ki minimized the damage, at the end her fists were covered in smoke from punching the energy blasts.
Penny was in awe at that, she did not expect her to use offense as defense.
The blonde then flew downward and kicked off towards the Android.
Her opponent swiped her blades forward.
Yang rose her right arm to block the blades she then threw a fist straight across her face, she then threw her elbow with the same arm and then finished the combo with a fist against her chin.
The Android rose her blades to try to use as a shield.
But Yang changed direction and slammed her fist into the ground, it shook the ring.
This forced Penny to stumble backward.
The blonde then dashed past the shield and threw a fist against her cheek.
Penny was sent rolling back and hit the other end of the ring, she got up and watched as Yang was already in front of her.
Immediately she used her jet boots to fly upward before the punch could land.
Yang chased after her flying.
Penny rose her hand down intending to use on her upgrades from her Crusader Armor, a green metal fist formed around her right arm and she threw her own fist.
Yang punched it and made a loud metallic sound.
"Wow, that armor's really tough huh?" Yang said smiling.
Penny giggled nervously, she didn't think someone without her metallic body could be this strong.
The blonde pulled back her fist and threw another punch.
The Android rose her enhanced fist to block it but started to crack, that's not good, her father didn't originally design her for this kind of combat, her fist turned to normal and she used her string to pull her down to dodge a well placed kick.
Yang can see what was going on, she was using these thin strings to pull her body towards her swords, it makes her real hard to catch. She looked down to see one of her swords behind her stabbed into the ground and another on the other side of the arena, she smirked seeing a way to land another hit, she flew downward at fast speeds with her fist pulled back clearly telegraphing her intent.
Penny noticed and found that odd, from what she saw Yang knew how to be unpredictable with her punches, she pulled on her string to start propelling her body towards the other sword in the ground.
Yang knew what was coming and aimed her hand towards the other sword and fired a small Ki blast.
As soon as the Android made it to the other sword she was hit in the back by a the blast making her skid past the sword.
Penny stood back up seeing that her back had been damaged, she made her think she was going to hit her.
Now the blonde was already in front of her and she threw a fist into her stomach, she then threw a straight punch forcing Penny to roll across the arena.
Penny placed her hands on the ground to keep her from falling off the ring and looked up to see the blonde still running towards her, she then had her Floating Array to levitate around her and they fired green energy blasts surrounding her.
Again Yang punched all the Light Dust energy to protect herself.
Penny used the opportunity to bring her arms crossed, two blades slashed at her stomach again making her body glow gold showing her Aura was being damaged.
Yang was annoyed at how she fought, she wished she was more direct with fighting, it's like Kron's Guided Swarm.
Penny then brought her arms in many motions guiding the Floating Array to slash all over her body in an attempt to bring her Aura to the yellow and winning the match.
The blonde felt the pain of every cut despite not bleeding.
After so many slashes the blades aimed at her in different directions and fired lasers all around her body.
But to Penny's surprise she was still standing.
Yang then used her speed to appear beside Penny's side and punched across her cheek sending her to the ground.
Penny brought her hands down.
Yang at this point knew that meant her blades were going to rain down at her, she jumped back just avoiding the swords as they stab into the ground.
The Android back up and her swords all levitated behind her, she then propelled forward planning on using close combat this time.
She waved her hand slashing multiple swords down at her arm.
Yang rose her arm blocking the blades and being forced to be on defense this time.
Penny kept walking forward waving her arms slashing her floating array at her up close.
She then rose one hand flinging one of her swords behind her while the rest float behind her back, she then fired her green energy blast behind her back.
Yang was struck in the back and was forced to stumble forward.
Penny then used this opening to slash across her body, the impact sent her upward.
Yang caught herself midair and looked down to see her aim her swords towards her.
The blonde flew down evading the blades planning to strike her up close.
The swords stopped and rained down behind her.
Yang heard the sound of metal behind her and flew back avoiding the blades as the stabbed into the ground.
Penny ran then ran forward with her blades behind her again.
Yang was more aggressive and threw a Ki blast at her getting closer.
The Android's jet boots sent her upward evading the blasts she then brought her boots down at Yang's face, she used her jet boots to send fire to her face forcing the young woman's head back.
Penny thrusted her hands forward stabbing the blades into all over body forcing her back.
Yang grimaced as she touched her hair in front of her hoping not to have lost a single lock of hair, looks like she kept her hair, that was a miracle.
"Ok good." Yang sighed and then she flew forward once again to continue the brawl.
Now Penny was back to defense avoiding the punches that would devastate both her Aura and her body, if it wasn't for her upgrades she would have lost by now. Was this power really that strong?
Yang rose a hand holding a golden energy ball and she thrusted her palm towards her face.
The attack landed and exploded against her face, she would have felt guilty but after being covered in flames earlier in Yang's eyes they were even.
Yang then slammed multiple punches over Penny's stomach, her chin, her cheek and then she finished it with a spin kick across her side.
This sent Penny to launch, she would have been sent across the ring again.
But Yang grabbed her leg and pulled her closer and rose her right arm and slammed her elbow down her stomach, she then rose her knee into her back, she pulled back her leg and slammed both fists into her stomach sending her to the ground making a crater beneath the both of them.
Penny's eyes widened, she can see warnings in her systems, that last combo really caused some serious damage.
"You got more?" Yang asked holding a fist up at the downed huntress.
"Absolutely!" Penny yelled as she used her jet boots to slide back and get some distance from her.
Yang was panting, this was more fun than she thought, she wondered what she'll try next.
Penny realized how this was going she was probably going to lose at this rate, she knows she had this energy training longer than anyone so she shouldn't be surprised but for her to be this much?
She'll need to try something new, she thrusted her hands forward her Floating Array were flung towards Yang.
The blonde aimed a hand ready to fire an energy blast.
But the blades split, strings attached to the other blades and wrapped around Yang.
"What?!" Yang yelled as the strings wrapped around her and the swords stabbed into the ground, her body was trapped in strings. "Hey! No fair!" She yelled as she was trapped in the strong string.
Penny was pleased to see her father's upgrades work so well, she can now have her string thin cables detract from her body and into her blades to trap her opponents that she can control from a distance.
"Sorry, I hope we can still be friends." Penny said smiling as though she was about to win, she then brought her hand down.
Yang wondered what she was doing and then the strings pulled her down at fast speeds.
Yang collided into the ground shaking the entire ring making a dust cloud appear much to the audience's dismay.
Penny looked down at the smoke cloud hoping that she was ok, her scans showed her still trapped in her cables and she was starting to move, she'll have to tighten their grip on her.
But Yang had other plans she growled as she started to move her arms until she screamed her body was covered in golden light and spread around her body her body unleashed energy that destroyed the strings.
"I might have.. miscalculated." Penny admitted as her back unleashed more strings and attached to her blades and she pulled them back.
Yang stood tall from where she was and smiled looking up at her, she was having a lot of fun out of this. Ever since Kron she's been enjoying fighting more than she already did.
He really did rub off on her.
The blonde then dashed upward ready to continue the fight.
Penny brought her swords up and spun them around powering a green laser between them.
They fired a powerful laser beam.
Yang cross blocked as she kept flying straight at Penny, she got pushed back slightly but kept going.
Penny kept firing to try to force her down but nothing worked.
Yang finally made it to the end of the laser and rose her fist slamming it across her face.
Penny fell from the force of the punch and landed on the ground.
Her Aura reserves on the screen weren't gone but were in the yellow.
"Penny's Aura reserves are in the yellow, Yang Xaio-Long is the winner."
Penny was amazed, these students were way stronger than she expected, they went above her father's calculations.
"Hey"
She looked up at Yang who was smiling.
"You alright?"
Penny smiled and took her hand and was lifted up. "I am thank you for the great match." She said genuinely.
Yang nodded and looked into the stands at her teammates who cheered for her victory.
And she looked towards her next opponent.
Pyrrha had a determined look, not in a cocky way, but showed that she shared her sentiment.
Both young woman had been looking forward to this battle for a long time.

Glynda was in a room holding a pen and paper watching the screen, she was watching the Vital Festival on it even though she could be there in person.
"Are you not going to watch?" She asked someone who appeared to be in bed. "I thought this might help you since you have been refusing to say a word for the past week."
"Go watch it in person." An irritated woman responded as she pulled the covers over her head. "I am not interested."
The professor hated this new job she was given, she wished that Ozpin would hire a real therapist, but only few know of her 'patient's position as a Maiden.
"Listen, I am not pleased of this arrangement either, however given how you were missing all her life don't you think it would be good to watch her?" Glynda offered. "I think from the few sentences you have given me in the past few months you would feel guilty not watching an important moment in your daughter's life."
Moments passed but the irritated woman didn't move from her covers, but then it started to move and the woman sat up with long black hair and her right arm was missing showing bandages over a stub.
"Fine" Raven responded, she always thought sending Glynda to talk to her was a way to punish her for her betrayal, but she wasn't wrong, she may refuse to let her daughter to visit her, but she had chosen to miss her life as she grew up, missing more may only give her more regrets. Looking at the screen she sees
that the final match was taking place, the so called Invincible Girl and her daughter, Yang.
"It's about time you give some attention to your daughter don't you think Raven?" Glynda couldn't resist throwing a jab at her given how irritating she has chosen to be during their sessions not to mention refusing visits from the daughter she chose to abandon.
"Shut it Goodwitch." Raven said in an irritated voice while still looking at the screen seeing her daughter. It wasn't so different from what she did in the past, always watching her daughter from afar but never being apart of her life.
But she sighed as usually putting such foolish thoughts in the back of her mind.

Vytal Festival
Yang was stoked! She knew she could get this far and they even saved the best for last.
It was easy during the tournament, it felt good to win but man did she wish she could show her true skillset, Penny was real good at that.
But this next fight was really gonna be something to remember.
Yang was kinda happy to have that their powers were exposed, now she can have one of the best fights in her life.
She looked ahead to see her opponent.
Pyrrha arrived in her bonze armor and wielding her shield and spear with a smile.
Both representatives of RWBY and JNPR were in the ring both anticipating this fight.
"Now be ready for the final round! Two of Beacon's strongest students have made it to the finals!" Professor Port yelled excitingly. "But is it at all supris-"
Oobleck took over the mic to not allow any bias. "Let us be ready for the final match, Yang Xiao Long vs Pyrrha Nikos!"
The crowd all cheered seeing the video they were excited to see two people with these powers able to use them to fight.
Many of course expected Pyrrha Nikos to win, still knowing they were both capable of these powers was exciting to all.
Yang smiled at Pyrrha. "Man, I thought I'd have to fight you outside to get a fair fight with you, but looks like we can show off what we have for all to see." She threw a fist into her palm.
Pyrrha nodded with excitement. "As am I Yang, let us have a great battle."
Both of them took their fighting stances ready to use their Aura and Ki to put on a great fight.
In the crowd Team RWB_ were cheering for Yang.
Blake smiled seeing the fight but then her eyes looked up on top of the structure, she saw a figure descending and landing on top of the structure that no one seemed to have noticed.
A figure with spiker black hair and from what he can tell was a furry tail.
Her eyes widened.
"Kron?"

Kron was sitting on the top of the arena staring down, he thought this view would be the best and he was right.
"That flight took forever." Kron complained as he stretched his arm. "At least I got here in time."
He did have more pressing matters, but he couldn't resist watching this, especially after finding out that Ki was out. Plus he needed to see Blake as he promised Kali, he'd hate to have his ear pulled again when he visited her again.
Looking down he can see that Ki had been allowed given the replays that were showing of their battles.
So he was right Ozpin, did decide to let them use their powers to the fullest, he was glad that they were exposed, this tournament would have been boring otherwise.
He eyed down at Yang.
The first human to wield Ki, the one he thought could one day give him a worthy fight, he can tell that she did not slack off while he was away.
"Yang, I can't wait to see how much stronger you've gotten." He felt strangely good seeing her again. He always did wonder how her training went.
His eyes shifted to Pyrrha.
"So Ozpin's student, and mine met in the finals. Should've seen that coming." He looked at Yang. "Don't embarrass me Yang, show this 'Invincible Girl', show Ozpin, show everyone what I saw in you."
This was going to to be a fun fight that he couldn't miss.
The Vytal Festival has attracted Kron's attention. Who will win? Will Yang make Kron proud?

Why are the fights so different from canon? Because Cinder was able to rig the tournament to suit her purposes. Without her the match ups ended up being different.
Also I hope the Penny fight was ok, Penny fight scene are hard for me to right, I don't know why, hopefully the Pyrrha vs Yang fight will be better.
Anyway Dragon Ball OT isn't far from done, so then I should be able to focus all my attention on this story.
Guess that will be all.

2. Exactly the only ones who can open it are species that are inducted in Frieza's army or those with a power level greater than 900. (Gohan had 710 and he couldn't get out yet until he was at 1307)
3. I am leaning more towards using Kong because I do want Kron to follow his own path not Goku's so King Kai will not be involved and someone has to train him preferably stronger than canon RWBY.
All that is why Kron isn't so worried about the pod being in their hands they can't open it or destroy it.
