While I own many Harry Potter items and Twilight items, I don't own Harry Potter or Twilight I make no money off this story. This is a boy X boy so if you don't like then hit the back button and find something more to your taste. This story is one that has been on my mind since I read the stories Fire and Ice by Lynnwiley and a Harry X Jasper story that was called Fated by blood. Unfortunately, the site I read the story from suddenly closed down due to charging people to read the fics and I have yet to find the story on another site. I have attempted to write this story a few times before, but it never seems quite right. I know dementors make you relive your worst memories but in this story, they also make you hear your worst fear come to life in your head.
Chapter One The destined meeting.
Harry was pissed. Since he started Hogwarts, he had been shoved and thrown into danger his first year he was pulled into the mess with the sorceress stone by the annoying know it all. His second year he was pulled down to the chamber of secrets by the red-haired idiot. He was thankfully separated from the idiot. However, he knew the headmaster was waiting for him to save the stupid girl and if he didn't the headmaster would attempt to alter his personality. His third year was hard hearing his worst fears of becoming the idiot he pretended to be. It was interesting meeting Remus Lupin. He was annoyed that the headmaster interfered and wouldn't let him go to the classes he chose and wouldn't let Remus get to emotionally attached to him. Meeting Sirius was great but the fact that the headmaster interfered with his capture of the true traitor by letting Wormtail escape. So, Sirius had to run. Harry secretly cast a bowel loosening hex at both the headmaster and Snape.
This year was his fourth year and was both a blessing and a curse. A curse because the entire tournament was hell. A blessing because not only did the idiot redhead and the know it all abandon him, but he also snuck to Gringotts and took up head of house he discovered a marriage contract to Ginny the idiot girl who he had to save. Well, she will be having a nasty accident soon. For the first task Harry fed the dragon raw meat that Dobby had gotten him. Causing her to move away from her next before using magic to summon the egg from her nest. He had an interesting encounter with Draco Malfoy when the idiot tried to curse him in the back. Seeing Malfoy as a ferret made his year. He tracked Professor Moody down after dinner to ask if he would teach him the spell to turn people or objects into ferrets. He learned the spell within an hour. Promising himself that he would use it before the summer began.
For the Yule ball he took Luna as his date the two had a great time Harry had stepped on a beetle while the two were walking around the grounds the next morning Hagrid had found Rita Skeeter dead on the grounds. The second task, he had to save Luna from the lake he used gillyweed at Luna's suggestion. While the idiot red head and the know it all tried to get into his good books again Harry was distant with them. Harry had just finished winning the tournament he used his cloak before the tournament to make a map of the maze beforehand Cedric Diggory barely missed the cup due to a spider attacking him while Harry grabbed the cup.
After escaping Voldemort, he told the headmaster what he saw and knew right away the headmaster was pleased with how things were going. When Harry went to the hospital wing Madam Pomfrey told him she didn't have time for him. Harry stormed out of the castle to the forbidden forest and sat near a large oak tree thinking to himself now the time to put the plans into action and take off the mask he was forced to wear.
Flashback
Harry was a secretive but extremely smart boy. From the time he was small he only spoke when spoken to him, he kept his real grades hidden by taking the report cards for Dudley and him and making copies, so Harry's grades mimicked Dudley's. When he was introduced into the magical world, he tricked Hagrid into letting him do his shopping on his own since Hagrid got sick on the ride to the vaults. Harry's first stop was the truck store he got a seven-compartment trunk with the last compartment being a two-bedroom apartment with a potions lab. the trunk was spelled feather light and a shrinking charm that wouldn't affect the underage restrictions along with a muggle notice me not on it.
He also got a standard student trunk to hide what he had gotten. His next stop was the bookstore where he got lots of books on law, potions, schools, runes and arithmancy along with the ones on the book list. He then went to the wand shop he wasn't impressed with the so-called brother wand. Hagrid met back up with him as he was leaving the potions store. Harry had already gotten the parchment and quills and ink along with a dicta quill Harry got his clothes last have a complete wardrobe done for in and out of school. Hagrid left Harry to catch the train back to the Dursleys, but Harry checked into a hotel using his Gringotts credit card.
Harry returned to Diagon Alley and explored the whole alley and the side alleys. He went into one where they sold muggle styled notebooks and pens, they also had ways to learn new languages Harry bought first bought French and Spanish. He also got little charm bracelets that had muggle notice me nots on them they wouldn't fool a camera, but muggles won't see him or notice him.
Harry also at one point went into a dark alley that was filled with darker stores Harry found a wand shop that created wards from items he picked so Harry had a wand created for him. The wood was ebony, and the core was werewolf hair and vampire venom with an emerald stone as a focus. He also got an undetectable wand holster for both wands. Going into other stores Harry bought more books and potions ingredients. He returned to the hotel and then checked the book storage compartment he placed all the books into it liking that he could choose to look at books by type such as potions books or by author. He also could store muggle books. Harry also went to a muggle bookstore and got the next couple grade books in all subjects since he planned to continue his non magical education.
On the train ride to Hogwarts Harry sat in a compartment in the back of the train reading a book on potions he pretended not to hear people when they came in. A red-haired boy sat down and kept trying to get a response. When the trolly lady came Harry responded with no thank you even after the redhaired boy acted embarrassed. Harry grabbed out his lunch that he packed himself which was a bacon turkey and avocado sub with lots of veggies on it along with a bag of chips apple slices and a jug of a fruit drink.
During the sorting the hat warned him off showing his true self as the headmaster would use spells and potions to force him to be a reckless dumbed down Gryffindor. He was warned to act friendly with the Weasley or the headmaster would act. So, Harry put the mask he always wore at the Dursleys and allowed the stupid redhead to claim to be his friend.
End Flashback
Harry jumped when he heard the snap of a twig holding his wand he was searching for the intruder. Seeing the red eyed blond-haired vampire at first, he thought he was dead but then he met the eyes of the vampire and knew this was his chosen when the words "mine" left his lips
Jasper was running through the forest it has been too long in his opinion since had he been in the magical world, but his family loved to stay in the non-magical world, so he had stayed with his family, moving endlessly to various small towns and trying to pretend to be something he wasn't. He would still be there with them had he not slipped and slaughtered Bella Swan in his uncontrollable urge to feed from a human.
He could still see the tragedy replay itself in his mind.
Flashback
Jasper sat on the end of the couch rereading his copy of "Histories legends and folk tales and where they came from" while the rest of the family was out feeding. Feeling the need to be alone for a while, the blonde had decided to wait until they returned to find his own sustenance.
Much to his annoyance, Edward's girlfriend Bella chose that moment to visit. When Jasper told the annoying human bluntly that her boyfriend was away and not expected to return anytime soon, she had simply smiled in her own clueless manner, plopped herself down on the other end of the sofa and pulled out her cellphone to await his return. The girl couldn't take a hint to save her life… literally, as it turns out.
The civil war vampire could never say for sure what triggered the attack. He remembered getting increasingly agitated by the beeping of whatever game Swan had been playing on the device before he suddenly snapped. The next thing of which he was aware was the heavenly feeling of sinking his fangs deep into her carotid artery. Herbrown eyes widened in horror as her delicious blood began flowing down Jasper's throat. The terrified and pained screams Bella emitted had only fueled his desire to completely consume her.
When he'd drank his fill, Jasper finally pulled back in time to see the light ultimately fade from her eyes. His first thought after dropping Bella Swan's lifeless corpse was how glad he was that her annoying presence would never again bother him. He was sorry for what his actions would cost his family, especially Edward, but Jasper would never regret giving into his not-so-hidden desires once more.
And that's what frightened him the most.
End Flashback
His family had forgiven him instantly… even Edward, much to Jasper's shock. In the midst of the chaotic rush to pack up and move, the blonde had asked his brother why he'd been so understanding. It turns out that the bronze-haired vampire had finally realized that the annoying human wasn't his mate when Alice met hers in a nomad who'd been passing through Forks a few months prior to the slipup. Edward said he'd been trying to come up with a way to break things off with the human without risking exposure ever since his sister's discovery.
The second that Alice's eyes had caught those of William Noctorn, they had both felt an instant connection. The two had instinctively pulled closer together and whispered words of claiming. It had been the same for every true case of two souls joining since the dawn of time, and it was the first time Edward had ever witnessed the birth of the connection. His family had been telling him for ages that Bella wasn't his chosen, but it took actually seeing the truth for him to finally believe it.
Edward had then been forced to realize that he'd never felt that way about Bella. His struggles with that girl had been just that… a constant struggle. Nothing had ever been easy, and a vampire wouldneverhave the urge to feed from his mate! Though his brother had never voiced it out loud, Jasper assumed from the guilt he'd felt from the other that Edward was more than a bit relieved that the girl was dead. Because Bella had once before told him that should they leave her she would expose them to the world on the internet. They wouldn't be able to get the data off the internet fast enough to stop full exposer. Both his sister and brother had unwittingly saved him from a lifetime of regret and misery.
Though Jasper and Alice had been together a long time, both vampires had always known that they weren't soul mates. There had been an unspoken agreement between them from the first moment he took her into his bed that as soon as either of them found their destined mate, their relationship would end. Even knowing it had been coming didn't lessen the bittersweet taste in his mouth that, while she had found her chosen, Jasper was still alone. He was happy for her, make no mistake. After everything they had been through, she would always hold a place in his heart.
Knowing their sudden departure would be suspicious to the townspeople of Forks, especially as it would coincide with Bella's disappearance, the family decided to spend time living abroad. Alice and William had followed them, the latter having been talked into giving vegetarianism a try. The wolves would no doubt deduce the truth of the matter, so they all knew returning to Forks would never be an option while the Quileute tribe still lived there. Charlie Swan would most likely believe Bella had run away since Edward, in the effort of covering their tracks, had made it appear as if the girl had packed a bag and left of her own volition. He'd even thought to leave a note in an exact copy of Bella's handwriting stating Edward had broken up with her because he and his family were moving, and she'd be away from home for a few days to come to terms with the loss.
After disposing of the human's remains, vehicle, and packed belongings at the bottom of a remote lake, except the compute and her diary, the diary was burned in a campfire near the lake and was only ashes, the computer was destroyed so it would never be recognizable again the entire family rented a private jet and flew to Scotland. Once they had settled into their new life in a small town close to Glasgow, Jasper had broken the news to them that he wanted to strike out on his own for a while to come to terms with his momentary loss of control. Carlisle had taken him aside before he left to let him know that he would always be a treasured member of the family, no matter what decision he came to on his journey.
Though he would remain in touch with the others, he expressed a need to see something other than the inside of another high school. He needed to spread his proverbial wings and fly. He needed to go somewhere where he wasn't constantly tempted to slaughter humans. He needed to live.
He needed to… find out where that heavenly scent was coming from!
Changing directions yet again, Jasper followed the most intriguing aroma his nose had ever encountered. It wasn't food… absolutely not! He had no desire to harm whatever that was – quite the contrary, actually. Whenever he located its source he would admire it, cherish it, protect it, take it home so he could enjoy its intoxicating fragrance for all eternity. Jasper could only hope that whatever it was would be okay with that. He slowed down as he approached the scent. Seeing it was a human Jaspar immediately took in the humans looks he was thin and had many scrapes his hair was plastered to his face. When he stepped on a twig the human jumped up pointing his wand at him. Jasper felt his eyes meet the brightest pair of green eyes he had ever seen. "Mine" the boy whispered "mine" Jasper said without thought.
The two sat talking into the night Jasper told Harry all about his life before and after he became a vampire. He spoke of things that he never told another. When it came time for Harry to talk, for the first time in his life Harry spoke of everything the abuse he went through how he tried to get his aunt and uncle arrested how someone prevented the police from keeping them in prison. how he was forced to hide his intelligence to avoid being beaten. He spoke of being forced to his true self even here in the magical world because the headmaster has a specific vision of how the so-called savior is expected to be and behave and if he doesn't the headmaster will drug him and force him to be the vision he wants. Harry admitted to believing the headmaster was the one to stop the police from keeping his aunt and uncle in prison since no one else had a motive to do it. Harry spoke of his hate for the light side how he didn't really care if the so-called dark lord won as long as the dark lord left him alone, he could have the magical world for all Harry cared. Jasper and Harry made plans to leave the magical world not noticing the two sets of eyes watching them.
