Chapter 527 Virus Combat

Bubblegum had just finished explaining her plan with the Doom Ma Geddon Virus to the others. The other heroes and party members had mixed feelings on the plan.
"It's really dangerous to injection the virus into someone like that." Said Turquoise.
"I know, but it'll give it the element of surprise we need against Malware." Said Bubblegum.
"That is if the virus doesn't decide to come after us first." Said Lucinda.
"I understand, but maybe we can persuade the virus into going after Malware instead of us. If we tell it that Malware is a superior virus and presents a greater threat to the world and itself, it'll go after Malware to prove itself." Said Bubblegum.
"Its admittedly risky, but I think it's a risk worth taking." Said Chicle.
"And you're sure you want to use Ridley?" Asked Marceline.
"Yeah I'm sure." Said Bubblegum.
"Alright then. Let's get lifting kids." Said Lucinda as she headed over to the down Destructinator along with Marceline, Mavis, Marcus, Noah, and Lilly.
The four of them used their combined super strength to lift the Destructinator up and Earth summoned some rock pillars to prop the robot up to keep it from falling. Ridley tried to fly out and attack, but Neddy used his psychic powers to slam Ridley into the ground and keep him pinned as Turquoise wrapped some metal beams and pipes around him to restrain the pirate. Chicle ran over to Ridley and stabbed the capture device that held the Doom Ma Geddon Virus in it into Ridley's back.
"What have you done?" Demanded Ridley.
"Let's just say your body is about to be highjacked." Said Chicle stepping back.
Ridley felt a strange change go through him as his software began to alert him of a virus in his system. The cyborg desperately deployed his antivirus measures, but the virus proved itself to be too strong as it took over his systems. Ridley screamed and thrashed around, but he could do nothing as the Doom Ma Geddon Virus took him over. Chicle and the others watched as Ridley stopped trashing around and his eyes turned red.
"Cyborg organism fully taken over and operational." Said Ridley in a voice that wasn't his.
It was the voice of the Doom Ma Geddon Virus!
"Hello Doom Ma Geddon Virus been awhile." Said Chicle facing the cyborg.
"Searching memory banks designated enemy Chicle of the Candy Kingdom. You were part of the group of skilled hackers and computer experts that stopped and captured me." Said Doom Ma Geddon Virus.
"Indeed I was." Said Chicle.
"I don't understand why I was injected into this body, but I shall use it to maximal efficiency and take revenge and destroy you." Said Doom Ma Geddon as he struggled to break free.
"You know Doom Ma Geddon Virus you're not the most deadly computer virus on the planet right now. There's actually one that's been giving us way more trouble then you ever did, so that would make him the superior virus." Said Bubblegum.
"What madness do you speak? I was created to be the ultimate virus of cybernetic warfare." Said Doom Ma Geddon Virus.
"Well the being we're dealing with is called Malware and he is from another planet and he helped bring the Space Angel Kingdom to it's knees forcing us to put a advance energy dome over the Space Angel Kingdom to keep him contained, but now he is free." Said Chicle.
"The body you're in is one of Maleare's allies." Said Bubblegum.
"Accessing memories of current host. It appears this Malware us a formidable being and posses a threat to my dominance. I will not allow this. I will go and deal with Malware and assimilate him and his capabilities before I return to deal with you." Said Doom Ma Geddon Virus before snapping the bonds that restrained him and pushed against Neddy's psychic hold.
Neddy released his hold and Doom Ma Geddon Virus flew off towards Zim's base.
"Well that should keep Malware preoccupied as we deal with his goons and storm the base." Said Chicle.
"I'll stay behind and get the Destructinator up and running to release Citrus Twisty and the others." Said Turquoise.
The others nodded and headed to Zim's base.
Malware was in Zim's lab making plans to spread his virus across the world. He had sent Gir, Minimoose, and the League Of Super Evil members out to gear up and prepare for battle. Zim stood in a corner trembling and wondering what he should do to try and get his base back or try to escape. The door to the lab opened up and Ridley entered. Malware's sensors immediately picked up something was off about Ridley. He turned to face Ridley and began scanning him and quickly figured out his comrade was not in control of his body.
"Who exactly are you?" Asked Malware.
"I am the Doom Ma Geddon Virus and I am the most advanced and deadly computer virus of all time. I have come to assimilate you and then I shall conquer this world." Said Doom Ma Geddon Virus.
"Ah a fellow cybernetic life form. Allow me to introduce myself I am Malware I am a Mechamorph from Galvan B. My race were very powerful and had the ability to merge with technology and control it. I however had a unique ability among my race. I had the ability to absorb technology and copy whatever it could do. Eventually I gained the ability to infect machines and control them from afar with out the need to fully merge with them. I became powerful and feared throughout the galaxy, until I was captured and locked away. Eventually I was put on a special prison ship that ended up on this planet. Now I will rid my comrade's body of you, assimilate you, and go forth conquering this world." Said Malware.
"It seems like this world isn't big enough for the both of us." Said Doom Ma Geddon Virus.
"Indeed. Looks like there's only one way to settle this." Said Malware as his right hand began to change into a cannon.
"Then lets settle this." Said Doom Ma Geddon Virus.
Malware quickly began to bring his cannon up to fire, but Doom Ma Geddon Virus opened his mouth up and fired a blast of plasma at him forcing Malware to leap to the side to avoid getting hit. Doom Ma Geddon Virus rushed Malware and slammed into him smashing him into a console and pinning him to the ground. The two grappled with each other as Doom Ma Geddon Virus's tail reached out to a nearby table and wires shot out of the end and grabbed some small saws and drills and assimilated them into the tail. The Doom Ma Geddon Virus struck out with his tail hitting Malware in the side with the saws and drills making Malware yell in pain as they ripped into his body. Malware quickly used his powers to connect to the console he was pushed against and he used it to access a mounted laser turret in another part of the room. The laser became active and it shot Doom Ma Geddon Virus in the back making him shout in pain and let go of Malware. Malware grabbed Doom Ma Geddon Virus and lifted him up in the air before tossing him and blasting him with his cannon hand sending Doom Ma Geddon flying and smashing into a wall. Doom Ma Geddon Virus recovered and took flight as Malware commanded the mounted laser turret to start shooting at Doom Ma Geddon Virus. The possessed cyborg dodge the shots fired by the laser turret as he flew over Zim, who just barely avoided getting shot by diving to the ground. Doom Ma Geddon Virus flew over to the laser turret and ripped it off it's mount and used his powers to take it over and fired at Malware who fired back with his laser hand. The two beams met and for a few seconds they seemed evenly matched, but then Doom Ma Geddon's Virus began to overtake and push Malware's laser back, until it reached his hand and it exploded!
Kaboom!
Malware screeched in pain and shock as his hand was destroyed along with most of his arm. Doom Ma Geddon Virus rushed forward and struck Malware using the laser turret as a club. The Mechamorph staggered back from the blows, but quickly retaliated by firing a laser from his eye knocking Doom Ma Geddon Virus back. Malware charged at Doom Ma Geddon Virus knocking him to the ground as his arm and hand began to heal and rebuild themselves. The two of them wrestled and rolled across the ground crashing into machines and using their powers to assimilate various machines and tools into their bodies to try and give themselves a edge over one another.
As all this happened Zim crawled to the door.
"I'm getting out of here before one of these psychos kill me!" Thought Zim as he reached the door and got out.
Down below Bubblegum, Neddy, Chicle, Marceline, Lucinda, Henry, Mavis, Marcus, Noah, Lilly, and Earth had reached Zim's base and were about to bust in, when one of the big doors opened and out rolled four large tank-like robots called Hunter-Destroyers followed by a few dozen smaller drones and robots. Then the Gnat stomped out in a grey robotic mech suit with only his head sticking out at the front.
"Alright a bunch of robots and a weird fly guy in a mech suit, this shouldn't be too much trouble to deal with." Said Lucinda.
Before anything could be said or done there was small green nuclear explosive shaped cloud that appeared behind the group of heroes getting their attention. When the cloud cleared it revealed Doomageddon who had used his powers to grow in size making him roughly about Earth's size. Doomageddon let out a roar as he pounced onto Earth knocking her to the ground.
"Destroy them all!" Yelled Gnat to the robots.
The Hunter-Destroyers rolled forward followed by the other robots and they all began to fire on Bubblegum and the others forcing them to dodge and then dive behind some buildings for cover as Henry, Lilly, and Noah fired back with blasts of water. Marceline looked over at Bubblegum, Chicle, and Neddy.
"You three head into the base, me and Lucinda's family can handle this jokers."
"What about us mom?" Asked Mavis as she and Marcus looked at Marceline.
"You two go along with the others and make sure they get in safely and help takedown those viruses." Said Marceline.
"You can count on us mom!" Said Marcus.
"We got this!" Said Mavis.
"Alright just let us clear you a bath and you can get on in." Said Henry before he and his children unleashed a mighty combined blast of water that cleared the way of the robots.
Bubblegum and her four allies dashed forward. The Hunter-Destroyers recovered and tried to stop them, but Marceline and Lucinda dashed forward and smashed the big robots away with their weapons. Gnat tried to chase after Bubblegum and her allies, but Henry blasted him in the face with water sending him reeling back and then Noah and Lilly charged in grabbed the mech's arms and pulled the villain to the ground.
Bubblegum and the others made it into the base and quickly closed the door behind them.
"Alright, we're in. Everyone be on your guard, we don't know what kind of crazy things might be lurking around here." Said Chicle.
The group made their way deeper into the base. They figured Malware was in Zim's lab and decided that was the best place to look for Malware and put an end to his madness. The five heroes decided it would be best to take the stairs, since those couldn't really be hacked like a elevator, which could be hacked and turned into a death trap. It took a bit of time, but the group located the stairs and elevator.
"Alright so far so good." Said Neddy.
"This is a bit too easy." Said Mavis.
At that moment there was a loud scrapping sound of a metal blade be dragged across a floor a few yards away. Everyone turned to see Red Menace making his way onto the scene wearing red power armor to make him bigger and stronger and dragging a large ax across the floor.
"Well hello there! Am I glad to see you! I've been stalking the halls looking for something to kill!" Said Red Menace with a manic grin as he lifted his ax off the floor.
"And cue the crazy people who want to kill us." Said Marcus.
"So you want to take him or should I?" Asked Mavis.
"I'll deal with this clown. You head to the lab." Said Marcus cracking his knuckles.
"I really shouldn't hog all the fun to myself. Gir! Minimoose! Come on down!" Said Red Menace.
There was a vroom sound as Gir and Minimoose arrived on the scene. Gir was strapped to a strange canister like device with dozens of tentacles with sharp claws and Minimoose had dozens of robot arms with guns attached to them as drills appeared on the ends of his antlers.
"I shall drain your brains of all knowledge." Said Gir.
"Squeak!" Said Minimoose.
"Voltar we got intruders!" Called Red Menace to the upper floors.
At first there was no response, then there was the sound of screaming before Zim appeared on the stairs with his PAK's spider legs extended as he furiously scuttled down the stairs. A few seconds later Voltar riding in a Megadoomer equipped with robot arms came charging down the stairs after Zim!
"Don't crush me! Somebody help me!" Yelled Zim as he ran towards Bubblegum and her allies.
"Now you die!" Said Voltar as he fired some missiles from the Megadoomer at the fleeing Zim.
Mavis and Marcus quickly blasted the missiles with lightning destroying them in midair. Zim let out a sigh of relief as he joined the heroes side.
"What's the status on Malware?" Asked Chicle.
"He's fighting some virus controlling Ridley and they're both wrecking my lab!" Complained Zim.
"Sorry about that, but will deal with them in a bit after we take care of these creeps." Said Neddy.
"You wouldn't happen to have any weapons we can use?" Asked Bubblegum.
"Wait there is a storage unit on this level. There could be something there that could help." Said Zim.
"Go will hold these guys off." Said Mavis.
Zim nodded and quickly ran off as Voltar, Red Menace, Gir, and Minimoose closed in. Voltar had the Megadoomer charge forward and swing it's fists at Mavis and Marcus striking the two heroes and sending them flying back crashing into a wall. The two hybrid heroes quickly recovered and hurled themselves at the mech and flew around Voltar dodging fists and delivering a few blows of their own. Red Menace laughed as he charged at Chicle swinging his ax. Chicle quickly brought up a energy shield to block Red Menace's attacks. Minimoose fired his lasers at Neddy who used his psychic powers to dodge out of the way. Gir focused on Bubblegum extending his clawed tentacles at her.
"Your brain will be the first of many I drain." Said Gir before his tentacles shot forward.
Bubblegum quickly activated her boot jets and flew out of the way to avoid the tentacles. She fired some lasers from her wrist blaster at Gir, but he blocked them with some tentacles and Bubblegum was a bit stunned to see her lasers had no affect on them. Bubblegum quickly remembered she had one of Peridot's antivirus guns on her and tried to hit Gir with that, but one of Gir's tentacles snatched it out of her hand and tossed it to the side. Bubblegum tried to fly after the discarded weapon, but some tentacles grabbed her from behind and dragged her over to be held in front of Gir.
"Now it is time to drain that brain." Said Gir as he raised a tentacle that had a drill and tiny tentacles at the end of it.
Bubblegum struggled to break free as the tentacle got closer and closer. Just when the tentacle was about to make contact with Bubblegum's head a brown liquid substance flew through the air and struck Gir in the face making him scream in surprise and drop Bubblegum, who quickly flew away. Some of the brown substance had struck Bubblegum's face and she wiped it with her finger and tasted it.
"Gravy?" Said Bubblegum in surprise.
"Taste my holiday fury!" Said Zim as he appeared on the scene with what appeared to be some kind of gun that resembled a gravy boat.
Bubblegum also took notice that Zim was decked out in all kinds of holiday decorations and gadgets.
"What's all this?" Asked Bubblegum.
"The storage unit was where all the holiday decorations and objects were kept. Not exactly what I was looking for, but it'll have to do. Now prepare yourself for some holiday havoc!" Said Zim.
Gir wiped the gravy from his face and tried to attack Zim and Bubblegum, but Zim pulled out another odd looking gun and fired a few dozen Easter eggs from it that hit Gir in the face surpring and blinding him. Bubblegum took this opportunity to use her powers to fire wads of gum at the tentacles hitting them and pinning them to the ground. She then raced over and grabbed the antivirus gun and blasted Gir with it making him fall to the ground.
Minimoose flew after Neddy still shooting at him and Zim pulled out a large pumpkin and tossed it at the flying robot striking him and making him crash. Bubblegum quickly zapped him with the antivirus gun.
Red Menace finally managed to break through Chicle's shield and now he grabbed the candy man and threw him at a wall with incredible force. Chicle crumbled to the ground in a heap groaning. Red Menace advanced towards Chicle prepared to end him, when Zim threw a box that had a bow on it at Red Menace's feet. The villain stared at the box in confusion and then it exploded open and out rose a enormous Christmas tree.
"What the?" Said Red Menace.
The Christmas tree then toppled over and landed right on top of Red Menace with a mighty crash pinning the villain to the ground and stunning him.
Voltar still piloted the Megadoomer and was still trying to crush Mavis and Marcus, when Zim fired dozens of fireworks at him that exploded loudly blinding and confusing Voltar.
"What is all this?!" Yelled Voltar as the Megadoomer stumbled around blindly.
"Tis the season to be chaotic!" Yelled Zim as his spider legs threw a large Christmas wreath at the Megadoomer.
The wreath flew and landed over Voltar pinning his arms to his side.
"I can't move!" Yelled Voltar.
Mavis and Marcus unleashed a mighty electrical blast that struck the Megadoomer shocking Voltar in the process and knocked him out. The Megadoomer collapsed to it's side.
"We won!" Said Neddy.
Bubblegum went over to Chicle and helped him to his feet.
"Now let's put a end to Malware." Said Bubblegum.
"And get my base and machines back! I'll make that fool regret trying to highjack my technology!" Said Zim feeling very confident after helping defeat the villains and robots.
The group headed up the stairs to the lab.
Outside the base Henry, Noah, and Lilly were blasting robots with water. The Gnat became furious about the robots being beaten and tried to stomp on the trio, but they dodged his stomps and Henry stabbed the mech's leg joint and tore into it with his trident. The mech became unbalanced and Noah and Lilly transformed into their werewolf forms and pounced on the villain using their strength to rip the mech's arms off!
"No! I can't lose!" Screeched the Gnat before Henry hit him in the face with the butt of his trident and knocked him out.
Marceline and Lucinda took down a few robots, before they flew to Earth's aid. Doomageddon was pounding on Earth with his fists with glee before Marceline and Lucinda flew in and punched him hard in the face knocking him off. The big villain shook his head and glared at the two heroes before he teleported and reappeared behind them swatting the duo to the ground. Doomageddon was about to slam his fists down on Marceline and Lucinda, but Earth recovered and shot some rock spikes at him, forcing the villain to teleport away and reaper besides Earth and punch her in the face knocking her back.
"That big creep teleports away whenever he takes some damage." Said Lucinda as she and Marceline got to their feet.
"Then we just have to make it harder for him to figure out where to teleport." Said Marceline before she went invisible.
Lucinda smirked as she went invisible. The two invisible heroes flew over to Doomageddon who was attacking Earth and the two of them began attacking him with their weapons and super strength. Doomageddon reeled back in confusion from the invisible onslaught as he blindly swung at his attackers, but hit nothing but air. The monster quickly realized he couldn't rely on his eyes and tried to use his sense of smell only to get punched hard in the face by Earth making his nose bleed as he stumbled around. Marceline and Lucinda then preformed a combined a downwards kick on Doomageddon's head that finally did the villain in. Doomageddon fell onto his back out cold as he shrank back to his normal size.
"Well that takes care of those guys. Now we have to deal with the big guy in charge." Said Henry as he and the others turned their attention to the base.
Zim's lab was in shambles and looked like a war zone as Malware and Doom Ma Geddon Virus still fought against each other. The two beings had absorbed and attached various machines and weapons in the lab to attack each other and had inflicted a significant amount of damage to one another. The Doom Ma Geddon Virus had constructed some robotic spider legs and had attached them to Ridley's back and was using them along with the tail with drills and saws to attack Malware and managed to rip some holes through his body. Malware had managed to construct some powerful metal claws on his hands that he used to grab the spider legs and rip them off making the Doom Ma Geddon Virus shout in pain. The Mechamorph then managed to pin his opponent to the ground as he absorbed some large cables and turn them into tentacles that he used to restrain Doom Ma Geddon Virus's tail and stabbed them into Ridley's body.
"Now I shall rid Ridley's body of you and assimilate you into myself!" Declared Malware.
"I won't go down so easily!" Snarled Doom Ma Geddon Virus before he bit right into Malware's left shoulder and began to try and assimilate him.
Malware screeched in pain and rage as he began to pump energy though the tentacles to assimilate Doom Ma Geddon Virus. The two cybernetic beings used all their might and skills to try and beat each other. Their bodies remained still as the two entities battled each other on the digital plane. Malware's digital form looked the same as it did in the real world, while Doom Ma Geddon Virus's digital form resembled a giant red Bacteriophage with the words "Doom Ma Geddon" written on the top of it's head.
Doom Ma Geddon Virus fired lasers and tried to stab Malware with it's long limbs, but Malware dodged the blows and reached his enemy's body stabbing his claws into Doom Ma Geddon Virus and began to takeover and assimilate him.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Screamed Doom Ma Geddon Virus as he was assimilated into Malware.
"I will admit you were indeed a worthy opponent Doom Ma Geddon Virus and if things had been different we could have been allies, but now you and your power are mine! I am the superior virus!" Declared Malware.
In the real world Malware let out a sigh as he released Ridley, whose eyes had returned to their original color.
"Malware...?" Said Ridley in confusion.
"It's fine Ridley you are no longer a infected puppet." Said Malware.
"It is over." Said Bubblegum as she and her allies appeared in the lab.
Bubblegum pointed the antivirus gun at Malware and Ridley and the two villains took note that there were a couple of cables hanging from the sides of the gun being held by Mavis and Marcus who delivered a wave of electricity to the gun giving it a super charge. Malware turned his hand into a gun and tried to attack the heroes with it, but Bubblegum pulled the trigger and fired a powerful charged up blast at the villains. The cybernetic villain realized he couldn't fire in time so he grabbed Ridley and used him as a shield.
"Rrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Screamed Ridley as he was struck by the blast and got her cybernetics fried by it killing him instantly!
Malware tossed Ridley's corpse at the heroes and tried to get away, but Neddy ripped some sharp metal out of the walls and stabbed them into Malware knocking him to the ground. Before Malware could try and do anything, Bubblegum fired another shot from a he gun and struck Malware.
"Ararararararararararararrrraaaa!" Screeched Malware as the blast him.
The circuitry on Malware's body began to dim out and turn black and then his body began to crumble to dust. Chicle walked over to the dying Malware.
"Alright Malware how did you escape the Space Angel Kingdom?" Demanded Chicle.
"Ha...the precious...dome of yours...isn't as good a prison as you thought. Ridley and...I had help to breakout." Said Malware.
"Help from who? My father?" Demanded Chicle.
"The one that helped us escape wasn't...Gumbald, but they are no friend of yours. If me and Ridley can be set free...the other horrors can be released as well...and there's nothing you can do about it." Said Malware with a dying chuckle before the last of him crumbled to dust.
"That's not good." Grumbled Neddy.
"My beautiful lab and base." Moaned Zim in despair as he took in all the damages of the lab.
"Don't sweat it! This little tragic mess can be undo by magic!" Said Citrus Twisty as she appeared in the room with a flash of orange light.
Everyone watched as Citrus Twisty summoned a swarm of orange bubbles that swept through the lab magically cleaning everything and restoring the place. Zim let out a thankful sob. All around Zimtopia things were returning to normal and though it was a victory for the heroes Bubblegum and Chicle couldn't help, but think there was some greater threat on the horizon that they and their allies would have to face in the future.
