Summary: Mackenna Olivia Oliver had the perfect life. Her brother was a legendary power ranger, the best big brother she ever had but he was thought to be perished on the island her life falls apart. Will Mackenna and Tommy find their way back or will her ranger journey take over?

"Kenna you are so late right now!" a rough, male voice yelled. "Kenna!?

"Oh would you hush". A short brunette raplied as she came down the stairs. "Jason i only have to go get my transfer completed."

"I know but you said you wanted to get it done early so you could come to Angel Grove with me"

"Actually i was going to stay here, i could unpack". She spoke hopeful. "Please? Besides it could give me a chance to explore Reefside."

Jason nodded. "Promise me you will be careful?"

Mackenna laughed. "You have nothing to worry about. Look you know what i have been through in Blue Bay this past summer so now i need a fresh start, i just wish he was here".

Jason gripped her shoulders. "I know. Listen you know i promised Tommy if anything happened i would look after you. Mac he would be so proud of you. Zordon would be to".

"I just miss them" She choked as she wiped a tear. "Maybe i will streak to Mariner Bay, spend a night with Ryan or Dana"

Mackenna grabbed her jacket. "See you after school" With that Mackenna left the house and drove to school.

Once she went inside and got her books and schedule she noticed a girl sitting on a picnic table playing guitar.

"Wow your voice is amazing" Mackenna told her.

"Thanks. I'm Kira"

"Makenna. I just transferred here."

"Cool, listen i would talk more but i have detention but here is my number if you ever want to hang out". Kira gave her a piece of paper.

"Okay cool." Mackenna watched as she left with two guys. Her mind flashing to when she was with Shane and Dustin.

Mackenna walked down the trail to clear her headwhen she fell down a hole. "Ouch!" She yelped. She wiped off her jeans as she heard voices. "Hello!?" She called out as the voices appeared with faces. "Oh its you!"

"Makenna?" Kira questioned. "Conner, Ethan i met her outside the school".

"What is this place?" Makenna asked them.

"We don't know but we should see where it leads?" Ethan suggested.

The others nodded and they were led to a lab of sorts. Makenna felt a sense of dread as they all walked in. She looked around. Her ears perked up and she heard voices from a room upstairs. She creeped upstaurs and her mouth dropped. Jason Scott was in the house talking on the phone.

"Jase?" She whispered as confusion set in. She pushed it aside and she noticed the others were gathered around something so she walked over.

"Well what are they?" Kira asked looking at the stones. A red, blue, yellow and orange.

Makenna swallowed hard as her eyes landed on the orange one. One she knew all to well and didn't want any part of it. She saw the relic inside where the others didn't. She wondered how did it get there and who brought it.

She watched as the others picked each one up in their hands as they glowed on contact.

"'Guys come on lets go" Makenna urged.

"I agree we have no idea what kind of freak lives here" Kira agreed as the boys glanced at them.

As they found an exit Makenna stopped.

"You okay?" Conner asked her.

"I will meet you tomorrow t better head home before my friend i am staying with worries, plus you guys are still in detention." Makenna answered as the walked away not knowing the three others would end up in a battle.

Meanwhile Makenna began to walk towards her home. She could feel the energy calling her from that gem.

Makenna arrived at her home with Jason just in time to see him pull into the driveway. "Hey" She greeted him. "Where did you go?". She was curious to see how he would answer.

"I ran an errand" He stated. "You?"

"Oh no where really. You know its funny, i could have sworn i saw you or rather heard your voice".

Jason froze. "Really?"

Makenna was frustrated. He was lying to her. "You know what forget it".

"Makenna are you alright?"

"No Jason I'm not!" She snapped. "Someone found it" She whispered as she went to sit on the porch. "The gem, someone found it"

Jason swallowed. He knew she was there in the house. "I know"

Her head whipped to face him. "Excuse me? You know?" She felt her anger rising as she stoof up in front of him. "Jason you better tell me what's going on!?"

"Its not for me to say". Jason told her as he stood up. "All i can say is that its in good hands".

Makenna began to walk down the driveway. "I can't believe your hiding things. Jase all the years ihave known you, you have never hid things or lied to me". With that she streaked away.

Jason hung his head and pulled out his phone. "Hey its me, we need to talk" He said as the person on the other end picked up.

Meanwhile Tommy Oliver walked into his home after an hour of detention. He sensed the concern in Jason's voice as he hung up. Tommy wiped a hand over his face as he discovered his three students were now power rangers and encountered their first fight.

Tommy collapsed in a chair in the lab as his eyes landed on the remaining orange dino gem. He knew it was his sister's but what he didn't know was what the relic inside was.

Makenna Oliver streaked through the woods to get to Mariner Bay. She stopped behind the home she knew all too well. She peeked around a tree to see the Mitchell family eating on their back porch.

"Got room for one more" She said with aa smile getting their attention.

"Kenny!" Dana yelled running up to her. "What are you doing here?"

"Its been a long day. Dana i was wondering if i could borrow Ryan for a minute?"

"Sure, he is inside with his niece." Dana told her.

"Thanks!"

Makenna walked inside and smiled as she say Ryan holsing the three month old little girl. "Need a hand?"

"Hey Kenny, no its okay just let me go lay her down". Ryan told her as he laid her in her crib.

"Ryan can i borrow you there is something i need to talk to you about?" She asked him when he returned.

"Sure".

Both left the house and sat on the front porch. Ryan could feel she was tense like she was about to burst.

"Ryan" She began. "When we met everything was awful. I lost my Mom after. When we met you were leaving Mariner Bay. Do you ever wonder what would have happened if you left that day?"

"I used to. Makenna what's wrong?"

"I left Angel Grove to move to Reefside after Tommy died on the island, I feel like something bad is about to happen" She replied hugging her knees to her chest. "I feel like i am cursed'

Ryan sighed sadly. "Kenny i wanted to bad to leave my home but i saw two kids who were siblings, they were teasing each other. They made me what to come back but when i met you it sort of filled a little void,"

"Voud?"

"Kenny i never got to watch Dana grow up. When you helped me that day you filled the little sister void i had. You became a little sister to me. Listen i know how you feel and i know Tommy is gone but you know he would want you to let Jason in your heart the way you were in Tommy's. " Ryan told her. "Give it a chance."

"Thanks Ryan".

Ryan wrapped an arm around her. "Anytime. You staying?"

"I better head home. But i promise i will see you soon". She assured him. She gave a wave to Dana who was in the window. She streaked back to Reefside.

As Makenna got to her home she noticed Jason talking to someone. "Conner?"

Conner turned around to face her. "Makenna? You live here?"

"Yeah i do, are you okay? Jase?"

"Makenna you need to come with me. He's been taken". Jason stated. "Makenna Tommy's been taken".

Makenna froze and just stared.

"Excuse me?"
