The Straw Hat Pirates were riding the Going Merry to the top of Reverse Mountain, they were above the clouds and neared the summit. It was a fast and exhilarating ride to the top. The wind was fast, water came from the canals, simulating rainfall. They were all excited to begin their quest to achieve their dreams. Each of them said it to themselves as they reached closer to the summit for literally no reason.
Nami, the navigator, was holding herself tightly by the railing. She had a determined smile as she said, "I'll draw a map of the world."
Zoro, the swordsman, standing straight up despite the ship's angle, stoically proclaiming, "I'll be the strongest swordsman in the world."
Sanji, the cook, who was smoking, even with all the water said, "I'll find the All Blue."
Usopp, the guy with a long nose, clung to the railing and couldn't say a word because of all his screaming.
And finally, Monkey D. Luffy, the captain, and owner of the titular 'straw hat.' Who stood up on the figurehead although falling off would mean certain death. He belted out a yell that people could swear they heard from around the world. "I'm gonna be" The ship reached the top of the mountain and made it high in the air.
"The King/Queen of the Pirates!" At the very top, Luffy was face to face with a girl. They locked eyes for a single moment.
Chapter 1: Luffy's long awaited rival! Meet Diamond Tiara!
Dymon D. Ciara
I hit the floor of a ship. I only got a mild case of severe head trauma so I got up quickly. I soon noticed that I wasn't on my boat. I looked around and saw Sandra, my rowboat, hanging off the mast. That was lucky.
The ship was pretty big, much bigger than the one I had. I would probably kill to have something like it. "Hey, why are you on our ship?" There was a sword on my neck and a foot to the back of my head. When I looked slightly to the right, I saw someone pulling back a slingshot.
I put my hands up. "Calm down. I just happened to fall on your ship at the top of the mountain. I won't hurt any of you."
"Who are you?"
Guess I should introduce myself. "My name is Diamond Tiara, and I'm going to become the Queen of the Pirates." That's all the info I gave them, my mind is always a little fuzzy on details. My ear being messed up from the altitude change didn't help.
The blade inched closer. "Hey." The captain, I assumed the straw hat guy was the captain, said while picking his nose. "We don't have to fight, she said she won't attack."
"What?" His entire crew said. Oh yeah, I was wearing a red cloak so you had to see my face to know that I'm a girl. I don't exactly have a feminine figure. Or did I? I'm wasn't gonna tell any of you!
A blond guy in a suit walked up to me and took off my hood. He then gasped and kneeled. He took my hand and kissed it. "I'm sorry for threatening you. I don't deserve to be called a man." I rolled my eyes.
"Uh, Luffy?" The sling-shot guy pulled the captain away. "Are you sure we can trust this girl? She said that she'd be the Queen of the Pirates. That makes her your rival."
"Wha?! I have a rival?!"
I ignored him and looked to the front of the ship, we were approaching a large blue mass at the base of the mountain. "Excuse me, everyone? We're about to die." I pointed ahead.
This cause the entire ship to panic, they ran around to try and stop, but they kept screwing up. I stayed calm, panicking would do nothing, and I needed to take advantage of the hysteria. I walked up the stairs and into an open door.
It was a kitchen, a lucky break. I glanced at the ship's tiller, it was broken. No wonder they were so scared, they couldn't steer if they wanted. I made my to the fridge and pulled on the handle. How could they have a fridge on a boat? It didn't matter, I'm not an engineer, I don't know how fridges work. What was I doing again? Why was I not eating? The fridge wasn't opening, I pulled harder, but nothing happened. Why would they lock the fridge?
I couldn't get any food, I left the room in a depression. The entire ship stopped, and I was flung over the railing onto the main area. I fell right on my face. The ship must've hit something because another shake came right after. A large object then fell on top of me. I tried moving, but I was stuck. I couldn't even see. This was not my day.
"Hey, you broke my special seat!" It sounded like something got punched, followed by a large groan.
"You idiot!" The crew yelled.
The ship tilted, and the big object on my back rolled off. I was able to stand. "Yes, I'm alive!" A large whale was swallowing the ship. Yup, it was not my day.
The ship tilted and the object rolled onto me again, it pinned me by the legs. I couldn't move but I could see. The ship was outside again, what? "Hey, can you help me?"
"I'll help you." The guy in the suit kicked the object off of me. I stood up. The guy kneeled and had big heart eyes. "Is there anything I could do for you?"
"Would you stay focused!" An orange-haired girl punched him in the head. He slammed into the floor with a large bump on his head.
I laughed. "Pshshshshshsh! That was funny. Who are you people anyway?"
"Stay focused!" The girl yelled at me, she looked scary. "Wait. You're not part of our crew!"
"Hey, calm down. I told you I was here by accident." I looked at the guy on the floor. "Come on, back me up here." He didn't move, he was silently crying, tears forming a puddle around him. I turned back to the girl. "Think about it. We were swallowed by a whale, and suddenly we're here. Aren't there more important things to worry about?"
"Get over here," a green guy called out. "There's an island." I walked over and looked out.
There was a small island with a house on it. There was a lawn chair too. An old man with weird hair walked out, he pointed a sharp glare to the ship. He sat in the seat and took out a newspaper.
"He did nothing!" The crew yelled. Did they rehearse these lines? I rooted my finger into my ear, the screaming wasn't helping the blockage.
"Hey, old guy," Slingshot Guy hid in the back. He was mad. "If you want to fight! I should have you know we have a cannon!"
"Don't fire it. Someone would die." His glare got worse.
"Who would die," I asked. He seemed fun.
"Me."
"You?!" The crew screamed again. I was starting to be annoyed.
"Hey old guy, who are you and where are we," asked the Green Guy.
The old man glared. "If you want something from someone, it's proper manners to introduce yourself first."
"Yeah. That's right. My name is Roro-"
"My name is Crocus. I am the keeper of the Twin Capes Lighthouses. I am 71 years old. Gemini, blood type AB."
Green Guy had his hand on his sword. He was gritting his teeth and his eyes were twitching. "Can I please kill him?"
"Woah, calm down." I didn't want the guy to die, he seemed funny. He glared at me for that. If only he was even slightly intimidating. The guy had green hair for crying out loud!
"You want to know where you are? You come to my one-man resort and then yell such rude things at me. Do you think we're inside a rat's stomach?"
Everybody else started to realize they were in a whale, the walls were painted to look like the sky. I knew the whole time, but don't ask anyone else, they'll say I was just as shocked as them. This, of course, is a lie meant to slander my good name.
Crocus glared at us. "If you want to leave, the exit is over there." He pointed to a large metal door in the distance.
"We can leave!" The screaming was getting to me, I dug a finger into my ear.
"How can there be an exit in a whale's stomach? It looks like the open sea." The orange lady was confused.
"Don't you see?" The slingshot guy pointed out. "Look, the seagulls aren't moving. It's a mural on the whale's stomach! But why?"
"I have hobbies," The old man said.
"You're not making any sense," Slingshot yelled at him. The crew calmed him down.
"Anyway, we have to get out of here."
The place started shaking, the water? Had massive waves and it was hard to stand. "Hey, what's going on? Tell us, old man!"
"He's angry. Laboon is hitting his head against the Red Line." Wow, that was one way to show it.
"That explained the scars." What scars? I should've been paying more attention. "And the howling." Did I go deaf? I didn't hear any. "The whale is suffering." I could relate, I also hit things when I'm sad.
"Then why's the old guy here?"
"He's most likely trying to kill the whale from the inside."
I threw my head back. "Pshshshshshshshsh. Come on, if that guy was trying to kill this thing, he's really bad at it. Why would he build a door and a summer home if he didn't plan on it being around?"
"Who cares," said the green guy. "We have to leave before we're digested."
"We can't go anywhere with all these waves! How can we get out if we can't move?"
"We have to paddle. Get the oars."
"We have to find Luffy!"
"I saw him exit the whale's mouth. He should be outside."
I didn't pay attention to who said what. I was more interested in Crocus, who just dived into the stomach acid. Did he just die? I couldn't dive in to find out, I would sink like a rock. He came out at the door, climbing up a ladder to a smaller door in it. The smaller door burst open, and three people flew out. I recognized one of them as Luffy. They all fell into the acid. The crew scrambled to save them.
They were all brought out and put on the ship. The strangers were on the floor while Luffy sat on the railing. There was a guy and a girl. The girl was a looker, with blue hair and a slender figure. The other guy had a crown. The suit guy was staring at the girl a little too closely. I was sitting on the floor in front of them. "So, come here often?"
I didn't get my answer because the old man came back. "You parasites are still here? I shouldn't have to keep saying this! I won't let you kill Laboon for as long as I live!"
The two people stood up, laughing. "You can't stop our mission," said the girl.
"We have to take down this whale," said the guy. They pointed their large guns, which they had the entire time, trust me, at Crocus and fired. The cannon balls traveled far, nearly hitting the stomach walls before Crocus jumped into them, tanking the explosion. Dang, that guy was awesome.
"He just jumped into them!" Slingshot pointed out the obvious.
The suit guy provided much better insight. "Was he protecting the whale?" Well, duh.
The girl laughed as the crown guy spoke. "Try to resist, but make no mistake! This whale will feed our town!" I could come up with easier sources of food. Have they tried cannibalism? Their annoying laughter made me consider it. I looked at Luffy. I knew the look in his eye. We both nodded. I knocked out the crown guy as he did the girl.
"Uh, what was that for," asked Slingshot.
"I just felt like hitting them." That was what Straw Hat said. My answer was much better.
"I hated their annoying laugh. It felt like sandpaper."
I could go on about what happened for the next few hours, but I forgot, and I didn't care. There was something about the heart of a human, the West Blue, hey I'm from there, and something about three years. While the guy led us out, Luffy asked him to be the doctor, I guessed he was also a pirate. He said no.
"Isn't fifty years a long time? Those pirates sure are taking their time," said Slingshot.
"Idiot, this is the Grand Line." Suit was smoking a cigarette now. "They're dead. The whale can keep waiting but they won't be back."
"Hey have some sympathy..." I blanked for a moment. I got distracted by the whale. I never realized how big it was. Just like a mountain.
My thoughts were cut off by Luffy screaming, he was running up the whale with the ship's mast, and my boat was still on it. He then planted it on top of the animal. I ran up as well and punched him. "You jerk! That's my ship you're messing with!" I started climbing the mast to get it when Luffy came back.
"Gum Gum, Pistol!" He punched me off his mast. "Get off our ship! You're not part of our crew!"
"My boat fell on yours!" I pointed to my dinghy. "Did you not notice your Jolly Roger being covered?!"
He looked up, then his eyes popped out of his head. "You covered my flag! You're gonna pay for that!" He rushed in to punch me. "Gum-Gum!" His fist launched back several feet.
Laboon chose that exact moment to react to being stabbed. He junped into the air and slammed us into the rock wall next to the lighthouse. I fell and he ignored me. I stayed out of the way as the whale fought Luffy. I looked around for Sandra. The shaking from the fight didn't help.
I soon found her behind the building, she didn't have a scratch on her. That's because she was made out of the wood from the Treasure Tree Adam. It was more than strong enough for the Grand Line. I dragged her back to the front of the lighthouse.
The fight was finished soon and Luffy started painting a crude effigy of a Jolly Roger onto Laboon. I had no idea where he got the paintbrush. I sat in my boat and waited for him to finish.
When he finished, he jumped to his ship. And no matter how much I hated to admit it, I couldn't jump that far. I was stuck. Eh, I could still hang with the orange girl at the table near the cliff. They must've set it up while Luffy was painting. "AHHHH!" She screamed and I ran to her location, dragging my ship behind me. I didn't care why she screamed, I figured her captain would show up.
They were all talking a few feet from the table. There was a full feast that was being neglected. I sat down and thanked the chef before eating.
There was a whole thing about compasses not working, magic magnets, and blah blah blah. I was busy eating the hreatest meal I've ever had. Even when they argued about Luffy having a snow globe or whatever, I kept eating.
"Hey, Sanji's my cook! Get your own!" Luffy tried pushing me away, but I kept eating. He was also eating, so I didn't get what the issue was.
"I haven't eaten in days! Stop being so greedy!" The struggle went on until we both ate all the food. I think we both got about half. I wasn't nearly satisfied, though.
"You ate all the food I made for Nami!" Nami must be the orange girl's name, it made the most sense. Sanji got mad and kicked Luffy. He left me alone because I was a girl. I made a mental note to take advantage of that.
"Don't steal our food!" I was punched into the ground by Nami. She was so mean.
I got up. "Hey, don't blame me. Blame the economy. I didn't have enough money to buy food and I haven't eaten since I left my former crew."
The girl ignored me because she was busy beating up the other two guys. They broke a magic compass and were kicked into the ocean.
Laboon helped the two guys out of the water. They laid at the shore for a while. I had to wait longer to pop the question.
They questioned the guys trying to kill the whale, I don't care what they talked about. I just knew what I had to do, and it was the most important thing ever. "Hey, Luffy!"
"Yeah," he asked. He was sitting on the table. I didn't care about what they were discussing.
"I challenge you to a Davy Back Fight!"
"What!" Everyone screamed.
"AH!" I clenched my ear, it was like an explosion went off inside of it.
Sanji was on me in a second. "Is something wrong my princess?" He had hearts for eyes.
"My ear popped." I could finally hear again.
