Preface

Back in 2019 or so, I read SelphieKinneas' "What Makes a Hero" story and loved it. I'd played through the HD release of Twilight Princess and wanted a more meaty dive in to the characters of the story and see how the old ship of midlink would be handled in it.

I enjoyed every bit of it, so Selphie, thank you.

Then, I went and read her original follow up story to that, "What Made a Hero". Unfortunately, that one didn't grab me like the first one did. Sorry Selphie!

So I thought of a plot and decided to try and write one myself, a follow up to her original "What Makes a Hero". Five years later (currently Dec 13th, 2024), I'm finally two thirds done with it.

It helps to have read that before this, but it's not essential. You can generally infer what happened in hers if you've played Twilight Princess.

If you read it, then thank you. Your time spent here means a lot to me. I would love to hear any thoughts and critiques you have of it.

Edit 28/Dec: Published chapter 28. Sorry for the slow upload speed. Xmas was very tiring but very fun. Got a bomber jacket! Please enjoy chapter 28, it was a favourite to write and I hope I didn't take too many liberties with it. If you feel so inclined, please let me know by a review of the chapter of what you think. Edit 31/Dec: Published chapter 29. And now we're all caught up to what I currently have! I'm going to keep writing as time permits, but expect a slower update schedule. At best, I can write a chapter per week. Ill do my best to not let this die, I've already written a fair amount. Please follow if you want to be updated when I post a new chapter.
