A social worker is on a mission to reunite a foster child with her estranged father. When Detective Adam Ruzek learns that he may be the father of a little girl named Londyn, he never knew existed, he's forced to confront his past, his broken relationships, and a future he never imagined. Will he step up to be the father Londyn desperately needs?

Hello, I started writing this story back in 2022. I have had it saved in my drafts for a while and decided to post it. It is not completed, but I plan to start updating since I will soon have more time to write. Just warning you, there are some grammar errors and the story mentions child abuse and neglect. This story may be a little unrealistic in the context of social work and foster care, but I tried my best. I welcome any feedback and suggestions.

I also want to add that Makayla Burgess is not adopted by Adam in this story, she is just Kim's daughter. There is no Hailey Upton either. I have brought back Erin Lindsay, Antonio Dawson, and Jay Halstead.
