Friday morning, before the school day started, Riz gave Danny a tour of the campus. "As you can see, ain't much changed. Same coat of paint, same Tbird lockers," she explains.

Clarice parks her car at her usual spot, away from everyone, but this time the parking spot next to her is accompanied by an unwelcome guest. She looks over to read the letters advertised on the driver's door. "Board of Education," she utters. She greets him with a smile and casually walks to the school's front entrance.

As she gets closer to the door, her feet pick up the pace and soon she is speed walking as fast as her pencil skirt will allow. She makes it through the doors, out of breath. "What is it?" Rachel asked. "School board, school board outside," she said faintly as she tried to catch her breath.

Rachel quickly ran to a couple of students to spread the word, they ran to a couple more students to relay the message, who ran to the Tbirds, who ran to the next group of students, and so on. Clarice hurried down the hallway into the administration office to give Mr. Middleton the news. Quickly they got on the intercom to make an announcement. Clarice plays the xylophone, "Not now, Clarice! We have a crisis on our hands." Mr. Middleton said. "Oh, right," she responded. "Listen up, boys and girls. It's just like we rehearsed. It's go time! Run, run, run!" Mr. Middleton yelled as Clarice cranked the hand siren.

All thirty-one students make haste to Miss. Knowles class to occupy every desk.Clarice and Mr. Middleton greet the school board administrator at the entrance. "Good morning, welcome, welcome." Mr. Middleton said. "Good morning," he reaches out his free hand while the other holds a brown briefcase. "Allow me to show you around; we'll start with Miss Knowels's class right this way."

"Good morning, class; we have a visitor today, Mr. um?" Mr. Middleton looked over at him. "Steven Cutler, chairman of the board of Education." He reaches into his jacket pocket to pull out a business card. "Mr. school board, sir, please don't shut my high school down!" Rachel threw herself at his feet. "Please, Rachel. Go back to your seat." Mr. Middleton stands her up while the music begins to play.

Steven - Have no fear; I'm just here for observing, and if all checks out, you kids can go back to learning.

Charlie - I'll take notes. I'm an excellent speller. (Grabs his briefcase)

Edgar- Gimmie that! (takes briefcase) He couldn't spell Tbirds if it wasn't written on his back.

William- you're crusin for a brusin(grabs Edgar by the collar)

Mr. Middleton - Release him, Tbird. Mr. Cutler, please continue.

Steven- You see, funds are governed through the Board of Education.

Lyon- Does this mean the Tbirds are getting paid for this evaluation?

Steven- Negative. Mr. Middleton, where to next?

Charlie- The girls locker room would be best.

(Mr. Middleton leads him in circles while the students dance their way to the next classroom)

Students - Mr. school board, sir, please don't shut my high school down.I've studied really hard; it'd be a shame to take my cap and gown.

Please, please, please.

Mr. school board, sir. There has to be another school in town. I hear the Cavaliers are easier to push around.(They rush to Ms. Demetrius class)

Female-At Rydell high, you'll find my nose in the books.

Brooke- and the rest of her face is giving out dirty looks.

William- here at Rydell High, we support the catfights.

Charlie- and if we're lucky enough, we might see the headlights (throws an arm around Mr. Cutler)

Mr. Middleton- release him, Tbird!

Male- hey, this case is locked. (Lifts briefcase) What's the password?

(Mr. Middleton shows him to the next classroom, which is Ms. Rizzo's room)

Students- Mr. School board, sir, please don't shut my high school down.I've studied really hard; It'd be a shame to take my cap and gown.

Please, please, please

Mr. School board, sir. There has to be another school in town. I hear the Cavaliers are easier to push around.

Steven- Oh, this checks out; every desk in here is taken.

Charlie- (rises to his feet to read his note) Because at Rydell High we respect our dedication

Female- you're saying it wrong. (Grabs his note) At Rydell High, we respect Ms. Rizzo's dedication.

Steven-Wait a minute. Didn't I see you in the last two classes?

Charlie - No sir, I think maybe you should clean your glasses.

Nick- I'll take those, give them a nice spit shine ( he grabs his glasses and dances away)

Brooke -Mr Cutler, sir, does your password have the number sixty-nine?(she flirtatiously lifts his tie)

Steven- oh my

Rizzo - Why so tense? Let loose, relax.(she removes his jacket and sits him on a rolling chair) Allow me to show you Danny Zukos's class. (She rolls him out to the hall)

Students- Mr. school board, sir. please don't shut my high school down.I've studied really hard; it'd be a shame to take my cap and gown.

Yeah, yeah, yeah

Mr. school board, sir. There has to be another school in town. I hear the Cavaliers are easier to push around.

Lyon-(hands out diplomas) you get a diploma, you get a diploma.

Mr. Middleton- (hands out Detention slips) you get Detention, you get Detention

Rizzo- Hey Zuko, I've gotta surprise for you

Danny- oh yeah?

Rizzo- yeah. (rolls Mr. Cutler across the floor)

Danny- (catches chair) This chair can be automatic; it can be systematic, hydromatic, why it could be grease lightning! (Spins chair around)

Steven- No, no, no (Tbirds use a tool to get the briefcase open. Papers fly everywhere)

Students- Mr. School board, sir, please don't shut my high school down(They roll Mr. Cutler outside while dancing and singing all around him)I've studied really hard; would be a shame to take my cap and gown.

Oh please, please, please.

Mr. school board, sir. There has to be another school in town. I hear the Cavaliers are easier to push around.

Yeah, yeah, yeah .

Mr. School board, sir. Please don't shut my high school down. I've studied really hard, all to make my mama proud! (The students disappear inside the school, leaving Mr. Cutler spinning in his chair)

He rises to his feet and pulls a tape recorder from his jacket pocket. He begins recording, "There's something very suspicious happening at Rydell High. Consider the first evaluation a fail." He turns and looks up at the flag pole to see his briefcase hanging at the highest point. "And I'm gonna need another briefcase." He walks away and is shocked at the condition of his car. "What the heck! Where's my hood? And my bumper?!"

In the body shop, Danny helps the Tbirds carry the new hood they conveniently found in the parking lot. "First lesson of the day, teamwork. With a little teamwork, you'll have this car looking good in no time." Danny explains to his class.
