CHAPTER 4: KUNOICHIS' JOURNEY

The first day of walking wasn't quite what the two girls expected. With the lack of information they had, the kunoichis decided to ask all the shops on the way if they had seen anyone fitting Naruto or Sasuke's description. Eventually, they ran into a weird-looking fellow with painted nails, bloodshot eyes, and a black cloak with red clouds. The man was journeying with his friend in similar attire except he carried a large sword on his back. Both claimed to be traveling salesmen from the village hidden in the clouds, though they had headbands from completely different villages. The vibe these men gave off was enough to keep the girls from talking to them for long, but they still asked if they'd seen Naruto or Sasuke.

"Have you seen a dorky-looking blond boy or a handsome black-haired one?" Sakura quickly asked, not wanting to talk for too long with the terrifying men. The red-eyed one hastily responded, "Sorry I have not seen this boy." Disappointed the girls left and continued down the road.

"We can't keep this up" Piped up Ino, "We may need to go home soon. What do you think billboard brow?". "No, we have to find Naruto and Sasuke!" Sakura shot back, "Let's ask the people at the next hotel up there."

The hotel had a familiar feel, almost as if it was a place of importance. The halls though blank had a good feeling in their paint. The flooring seemed to say "Everything will be ok, trust me." The receptionist was a kind lady, even though she had never seen either boy she promised she would keep her eyes out. She did say she saw an older boy with black hair who was with a strangely tinted man. "I'll give you their room number if you want, they may be who you're looking for" the receptionist offered. Ino replied "No thanks. That doesn't fit who we're looking for. Thanks an…" But, Sakura quickly interrupted with "What's the room number." As the lady gave Sakura the room number, as Sakura began to drag Ino along with her.

"Come on Pig, maybe it's them!"

The door had an oak finish with gold fowled numbers under its rusty door viewer. The door was surrounded by a cracked door frame, which was surrounded by walls stained with life and death. This facade was nothing compared to the force of nature behind its walls.

Sakura knocked on the door nervously, still unsure if it was Naruto and Sasuke or some stranger within the walls.

HIASHI AND HIS JOURNEY

Hiashi's journey was a drought of discoveries. By hiding in the trees far behind the two girls and using his byakugan he remained completely hidden; he wasn't able to hear though. The closest he felt that he could get was still too far away to hear what they were saying, much to his annoyance.

The Hyuga head was there when they ran into the two men who shall remain nameless. By hiding behind a bowl of ramen he was able to hear the entire conversation. The men's faces were recognizable, though he couldn't figure out who they belonged to.

The journey the girls' journey wasn't as Harsh as Hiashi's. Having to hide far away he always seemed to be on the rougher terrain. "I guess they don't maintain these smaller trails" he muttered to himself as he stepped on the roots littering his trail. The thorns on the vines hanging from the limbs over his head cut his arms and legs. 'There is a town up ahead. The hotel must be there.' Hiashi mused in his head.
