A collection of short stories and long one-shots pertaining to Ni No Kuni and Ni No Kuni 2 (but mostly NNK2). Will be sporadically updated. Heed individual chapter warnings. There will be spoilers so read on your own risk. Chapters posted after March 19 that are not set in the continuity of The Chief Consul's Diary will use the canon name for Roland's son.

A retelling and novelisation, in which I work out all of my problems with the story of Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom, as well as some of its characters. Significant alterations to some parts of the plot, lore and backstory, as well as some characters and the roll they play to follow. Some concepts from the first game are returning.

Roland is from a different world, Leander from a country forbidden to love. The initial mistrust leads to some interesting results, and possibly a love that could keep a loved one home.

During adventures characters survive the bitterness of losses of loved ones and new meetings. Some of them are experiencing fleeting encounters, but are these intersections of fate lines random, as they seem at first glance? What unexpected surprises will the temporal and spatial paradoxes bring in the finale and what role will they play in the fate of of the characters?

[Ni No Kuni 2, canon x au, spoiler warning applied] Doloran follows through on his threat and so Roland finds himself in a world where no one trusts him. Understandable. He almost ended it after all.
