Chapter 15 :Hooty's Moving Hassle

Hey everyone! I'm back with a new chapter. Sorry it took me so long—I've been focusing on my other stories. I might be spending more time on those than on this one, but anyway, sit back, relax, review, and enjoy!

At the Owl House, Eda and Owlbert were engaged in a game of cards.

"Watch closely, kids. Hexes Hold'em is the trickiest game in the Boiling Isles. Any proper witch or wizard knows how to play," Eda said confidently.

"Mmm, I don't know, Eda," Luz said hesitantly.

"Yeah, Luz and I already have a card game called Pokémon TCG, and it's a lot more fun than this," Jake added.

"Oh yeah? Can your game do this?" Eda asked, placing a card down. The cards stood up on legs and started attacking each other.

"In the anime," Jake replied as Owlbert's cards seemed to gain the upper hand.

"Now, when it looks like the deck is stacked against you, that's when you break out the wildcard." Eda held out a card, and suddenly, all of Owlbert's cards burst into flames, making her the winner.

"Hoot," Owlbert hooted angrily.

"Woo, I win! In your adorable owl face. Ah, I love the feeling of victory; it feels… fluffy," Eda said as feathers emerged from her.

"What's happening?" Jake asked, confused.

"Your curse is returning," King pointed out, causing Eda to yelp.

"Come on, let's grab an elixir before we become owl food," Finn said, running into the room after hearing what was happening.

"Agreed, and then maybe you can tell me about this card game you guys play," King added.

Running up the stairs, they opened Eda's chest only to find it empty.

"Uh oh, I'm all out," Eda said.

"What are we going to do?" Jake asked.

"We need to head to the market," Eda said.

"Market!" Luz cheered.

"I'll get my backpack," Jake said.

"I'm gonna steal everything that's not nailed down," King cheered.

"Before we go, would anyone like to play one more hand of Hexes Hold'em?" Eda patted her side only to realize her cards were gone. "Hey, where are my cards?"

Turning around, Luz handed the deck to Owlbert. "Take these and fly ahead. She'll have to follow us," Luz whispered.

Hooting, Owlbert flew out with Eda chasing after him.

"Owlbert, you sore loser, gimme back my cards!" Eda yelled.

Meanwhile, in the human realm—specifically far out in space—Stitch was in the middle of a conversation with the Grand Councilwoman. Asher stood nearby, taking in the stunning view of space from the ship. His excitement was palpable, as he had always dreamed of seeing what space was like. Jumba and Pleakley were busy with the ship's controls, focused on the mission at hand.

The Grand Councilwoman's holographic image appeared on the console, her expression as serious as ever. "Experiment 626, where is Jake? He was supposed to be part of this mission."

Stitch hesitated for a moment, his ears twitching as he tried to think of a good reason. "Uh... Jake busy right now. He couldn't come with Stitch. Doing important stuff in another place."

Asher, who was still marveling at the sight of space, turned to Stitch with curiosity. "What important stuff? Is it something in the Boiling Isles?"

The Grand Councilwoman's eyes narrowed slightly. "Boiling Isles? What is that?"

Stitch quickly jumped in before Asher could elaborate further. "Boiling Isles? Oh, uh, just another place. Not important right now! What important is this mission. Stitch and friends can do it without Jake!"

Pleakley, nervously adjusting his collar, added, "Yes, yes! Jake is very capable, and if he's handling something else, I'm sure it's vital. But we'll manage this mission just fine!"

Jumba, still focused on the ship's controls, gave a nod. "Yes, the mission must continue. We have to ensure everything goes according to plan, even without Jake."

The Grand Councilwoman, still slightly puzzled by the mention of the Boiling Isles, decided not to press further. "Very well. If Jake is occupied with something crucial, we will proceed without him. But remember, Experiment 626, this mission is of the utmost importance. You must succeed."

Stitch nodded firmly, trying to reassure everyone. "Stitch understands. Stitch, Jumba, Pleakley, and Asher will handle the mission. We get job done!"

Asher, sensing the gravity of the situation, nodded along with Stitch. "Don't worry, Grand Councilwoman. We've got this. Jake's taking care of things back in the Boiling Isles, and we'll handle things out here."

The Grand Councilwoman's hologram flickered for a moment before she concluded, "Good. I trust you to complete this mission successfully. The galaxy is depending on you."

With that, her image faded, leaving the group to prepare for the mission ahead. Jumba, Pleakley, and Stitch exchanged determined looks, each of them aware of the challenges that lay ahead.

Asher, feeling more confident, spoke up, "Alright, Stitch, let's get this mission started. We've got a lot to do."

The ship's engines roared to life, and with everyone ready, they set off on their mission. Despite the unknowns, they knew they had to succeed, especially with Jake taking care of whatever important task awaited him in the Boiling Isles.

Meanwhile, in town, Eda was banging on the window of a store called Mr. Elixir.

"Hey, open up, Morton!" Eda yelled.

"In a minute," a voice groaned from inside.

Nearby, Luz and Jake were sitting down, showing King and Finn pictures of various Pokémon cards on Jake's phone.

"These Pokémon look pretty cool," Finn said, looking amazed.

"Such horrific beasts," King said in awe. "How do you make them obey you?"

Luz smiled, flipping through the images. "It's all about training and building a bond with them. In the game, you catch them in Poké Balls and then train them to get stronger."

Jake nodded, adding, "Yeah, each Pokémon has its own unique abilities and types. It's like building a team of powerful creatures to battle against others. It's really fun!"

King's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "And what happens when they disobey? Do you banish them to a dark realm?"

Luz chuckled. "Not exactly, King. If a Pokémon disobeys, it usually means you haven't earned its respect yet. You just have to keep working with it until it listens to you."

Finn leaned in closer, intrigued. "Sounds like they're kind of like familiars. But instead of magic, they use their own natural powers to fight."

"Exactly," Jake said. "It's a mix of strategy and friendship."

Just then, Eda stomped back over, looking frustrated. "That no-good Morton is taking his sweet time! I swear, if I don't get my elixir soon, I'm going to lose it!"

"Maybe we should go to another shop?" Luz suggested, trying to calm Eda down.

Eda sighed, her feathers bristling slightly. "There isn't another one close by, and we don't have time to waste."

Jake looked at the others. "Why don't we keep showing King and Finn more about Pokémon while we wait? It'll help pass the time."

"Yeah! Show me more of these 'Poké-mons'!" King demanded eagerly, hopping up onto Jake's shoulder.

Luz and Jake exchanged a smile, and they continued flipping through the images, explaining the different types, evolutions, and battles, while Eda continued to pace impatiently, keeping a wary eye on the shop door.

"Wait! Wait!" Looking up they saw a giant egg land in front of the bus stop and it opens revealing a giant bird who flies out. As the new passengers climb in Tiny Nose ran after it only to miss the egg. "Aw dangit."

"Poor thing." jake said.

"The curse of tiny legs." Luz said.

"I know the pain." King said when multiple figures in brown cloaks walk down the street pushing a cart with a large demon strapped to it.

"Whoa, that is one ominous parade." Luz said.

"That's no parade, those are demon hunters; dangerous nomads who capture and sell the most powerful beasts." finn said as the demon roars and snaps at them.

Making a magic circle a hunter makes green lighting form in his ahnds before he slammed it against the monster causing it to roar in pain.

"Elemental magic." jake said surprised when the Hunter looks to them making them uneasy.

"Which I'm about to become if you don't open up Morton!" Eda said banging on the door only for it to open revealing a guy with brown hair and a measuring cup-shaped hat.

"Sorry, Eda! I was up all night poison tasting and for some reason I don't feel great." Morton said.

Maybe it's because you were tasting poison," Jake said.

"You think so?" Morton asked, uncertain.

"I'm all outta my juice, pal," Eda said, holding out the empty vial.

"Oh gee. Let me see," Morton replied, taking the vial and heading to the back.

As the demon hunters rolled away, Jake and Luz noticed Gus, Willow, and Marina walking over, looking sad.

"Hey, Willow, Gus! Marina!" Jake called out as they approached.

"Are you guys okay?" Finn asked.

"Wait, what's wrong? Who hurt my babies?" Luz asked, concerned.

"It's them," Willow pointed to Amity, who was talking with some other teenage girls. "Amity is having a moonlight conjuring and invited everyone but me."

"And she keeps posting about it on her Penstagram account," Gus added, making a scroll appear with a picture of Amity and her group.

"Yeah, it's really getting annoying," Marina said.

"It's Conjuring Night, no dorks allowed," Finn read from the scroll.

Jake thought to himself, I thought Amity and us were cool after my whole experiment situation back at the Con.

"What a jerk! What's a moonlight conjuring?" Luz asked.

"You spend the night at someone's house, telling stories, playing games..." Willow explained.

"It just sounds like a sleepover," Jake said.

"Yeah, basically it is," Marina added.

"Then you bring something to life with moon magic," Willow finished.

"A weird sleepover!" Luz smiled.

"Gus and I have never been to one; you need at least three people," Willow said.

"And I never had friends to do it with," Marina added.

"Well, luckily for you guys, we have six," Luz said, pulling Jake and Finn in. "What do you say, Jake and Finn?"

"Guess it could be fun. Man, Asher is going to be so jealous," Finn said.

"Hey, wait, where is your brother, anyway?" Jake asked.

"Oh, didn't you hear? Stitch took him to the human realm," Finn replied.

"When did this happen?" Jake asked.

"Last night. We tried to wake you up, but you're a heavy sleeper," Finn said.

Jake thought for a moment.

Flashback:

The room was dimly lit, and the soft hum of night filled the air. Stitch stood at the foot of Jake's bed, trying to wake him up. He reached out with a furry paw and gently poked Jake's shoulder.

"Jake, wake up!" Stitch whispered, his voice carrying a hint of urgency. When there was no response, he poked harder, causing Jake to stir slightly.

Jake mumbled something incoherent, still deep in sleep.

"Jake, Stitch needs you to wake up!" Stitch tried again, this time shaking Jake's shoulder with more determination.

Jake groaned and turned over, blinking blearily at Stitch. "Stitch? What's going on?"

"Stitch going to human realm. Need Jake to come," Stitch explained, his voice full of excitement.

"The human realm? Now?" Jake rubbed his eyes, trying to shake off the sleepiness.

"Yes! Asher and Stitch go on mission. But Jake need rest," Stitch said, his tone softening as he noticed how tired Jake looked.

Jake frowned slightly, still trying to comprehend what was happening. "But... why now? What mission?"

"Grand Councilwoman called. Important mission. But Stitch thinks Jake too tired," Stitch said, tilting his head as he studied Jake's sleepy expression.

Jake yawned, his mind still foggy. "You're probably right. I can barely keep my eyes open."

Stitch nodded, patting Jake's arm reassuringly. "Jake sleep. Stitch and Asher handle it."

Jake managed a small smile. "Alright, but be careful, okay?"

"Stitch always careful!" Stitch said with a grin, his large ears twitching.

"Good," Jake mumbled, already drifting back into sleep. "Tell Asher I said hi…"

Stitch watched as Jake quickly fell back into a deep slumber. With a final glance, Stitch quietly slipped out of the room, leaving Jake to his well-deserved rest.

End of Flashback

Back in the present, Jake shook his head, recalling the night before. "Man, I must have been really out of it."

"Yeah, you were," Finn chuckled. "But don't worry, Stitch and Asher are probably having a blast right now."

Jake sighed, half-wishing he had gone with them. "I just hope they're okay."

"They will be," Luz said confidently. "Stitch and Asher can handle themselves."

"Yeah, I know," Jake agreed, though a part of him still felt a bit left out.

"Anyway, back to the moonlight conjuring," Luz said, changing the subject. "Let's show Amity what she's missing out on!"

Jake grinned, the excitement returning. "Yeah, let's do it."

Meanwhile, another feather shot out of Eda.

"Morton!" Eda snapped, startling him.

"Gee, Eda, why did you wait until now to restock?" Morton asked.

"I've been busy," Eda replied.

"Yeah, busy playing Hexes Hold'em. She's obsessed with it," King chimed in.

"No, I'm not!" Eda protested.

"You're playing it right now!" King pointed out as the scene zoomed out to reveal Eda with cards scattered all over the counter.

"Am I winning?" Eda asked.

"You know, I wouldn't suggest this to just anybody, but if you need your elixir, you can try your luck later this evening," Morton said in a dark tone.

"The Evening Market?" Eda gasped.

"There's a guy with a stand, goes by Grimm Hammer; if anyone has what you need, it's him," Morton assured her just as Luz walked over.

"Eda, Jake, Finn, Marina, Gus, and I are gonna do a moonlight conjuring to stick it to Amity, so can we—"

"Not tonight," Eda interrupted. "I'm going out, and I need you three to watch the house since your brother is away, Finn, and your little blue furball, stitch, is off somewhere with him. I have many precious objects in there."

"Like me!" King grinned as Eda picked him up.

"You're coming with me; I need an extra pair of eyes looking out for pickpockets, and an extra pair of hands in case I want to pickpocket," Eda smirked.

"Pickpocket!" Eda and King cheered together.

"Well, maybe they can help us watch the place then," Jake offered.

"No. Besides, conjurings are dumb—sitting in a circle holding hands, it's like magic for babies," Eda said as she and King left.

"Well, so much for that," Jake said.

"Damn it ," Finn said .

"But, Eda..." Luz started when Willow, Marina, and Gus walked over.

"So, what did Eda say?" Willow asked.

"Look, guys, there's no easy way to say this," Luz began.

"Oh, look!" Gus interrupted as they noticed the moon rising. "The moon is rising into place; the celestial powers only align once a year. This is awesome—first I get to learn about human anime, and now this!"

"Yeah, you guys are the best friends we've ever had," Marina added.

"Oh, I can't believe I finally have enough friends for a moonlight conjuring! Thank you, Luz! Did Eda say it was okay?" Willow asked, and both Luz and Jake cringed.

This would break their hearts if they said no, but Eda had said no guests over.

"Uhm..." Jake said nervously.

"Yes… Eda said yes. We can do it at the Owl House... as long as we don't make a mess or touch anything and never bring up that we did it," Luz laughed nervously.

"Yes! You guys are the best!" Willow, Marina, and Gus cheered.

"Luz," Jake said, equally nervous.

"What in the Titan's name is wrong with you? You heard what my aunt said," Finn added nervously.

"We can't shut them down when they're like this—they're our friends," Luz insisted.

"I guess, but… oh, alright," Jake sighed, knowing he couldn't break their hearts.

"Fine, but I'm not going to like this," Finn said, resigned.

On the ship, Stitch was in the pilot's seat, expertly maneuvering the controls as the ship cruised through space. Asher and Pleakley sat nearby, both listening intently as Jumba briefed them on their new mission.

"Alright, everyone, listen up," Jumba began, his thick accent commanding attention. "We have been tasked with a very important mission by the Grand Councilwoman. We're heading to the planet Zyntara, home to the peaceful Xylarian species."

Asher leaned forward, intrigued. "What's happening on Zyntara?"

Jumba adjusted his goggles, his expression serious. "The Xylarians are in grave danger. Zyntara is experiencing severe ecological disruptions caused by a rogue element—an ancient bio-engineered creature known as the Kralix. It's a monstrous being that was once a failed experiment, now reawakened and wreaking havoc on the planet's ecosystem."

Pleakley, always the worrier, looked nervous. "A bio-engineered creature? That sounds terrifying! Are we really equipped to deal with something like that?"

Stitch grinned confidently, glancing over his shoulder. "Stitch can handle anything! Stitch is best pilot in galaxy, and we have smart brains—Jumba, and brave friends—Asher and Pleakley."

Asher chuckled but stayed focused. "So, what's the plan once we reach Zyntara?"

Jumba nodded approvingly. "First, we'll conduct scans to locate the Kralix and assess the damage it has caused. The creature is disrupting the delicate balance of the planet's environment, leading to catastrophic consequences for the Xylarians. Once we find it, we'll need to neutralize the Kralix and stabilize the planet."

Pleakley gulped. "Neutralize? That sounds... intense."

"Intense, yes," Jumba agreed, "but necessary. The Xylarians are a gentle species, relying on the harmony of their planet's ecosystems. If the Kralix isn't stopped, Zyntara could be rendered uninhabitable."

Asher absorbed this information, his mind racing with possibilities. "And what about Jake? Why isn't he with us?"

Stitch quickly interjected, "Jake busy with important Earth stuff. Stitch doesn't want to bother him. Stitch will make sure mission goes smooth, no problem!"

Jumba gave Stitch a knowing look but didn't press further. Instead, he focused on the task at hand. "Let's not worry about Jake for now. We have a mission to save an entire species, and we must be prepared for anything. Remember, this is not just about stopping a monster; it's about preserving life."

Pleakley sighed, still a bit uneasy, but nodded. "Alright, if we're all in this together, I'm sure we'll be okay."

Stitch flashed a toothy grin, his confidence unshaken. "That's the spirit! Stitch will get us there in no time. Hang on tight!"

As the ship surged forward toward Zyntara, Asher, Pleakley, and Jumba all braced themselves, ready to face the Kralix and save the Xylarians from extinction. The mission was dangerous, but with Stitch at the helm and the team's determination, they were prepared to confront whatever challenges awaited them on the endangered planet.

That night at the Owl House, Luz, Jake, and Finn put their bags down and sat on the couch.

"Alright, kids, you're in charge while I'm gone. Make sure Hooty doesn't get into any trouble," Eda said, pointing at them.

"Hoot hoot! I don't need a babysitter; I'm a big boy house!" Hooty said.

"You can count on us, Eda," Jake said nervously.

"Yeah, Auntie, we've got this. Everything will be clean and spotless when you come back home," Finn added, putting on a fake smile to hide his nervousness.

"We'd never betray your hard-earned trust," Luz said, equally nervous.

"What's with you three? You're doing that thing where you hide in your hoodie, cover your face with your hands, and Finn, you shapeshift into an owl! You and your brother do that when you guys are nervous," Eda pointed out, noticing Luz had her hood pulled on tightly, Jake had his face covered with his hands, and Finn had quickly shapeshifted into an owl and landed on Jake's head.

"No, we're not!" Jake said as they all stopped what they were doing.

"Hey, where's King?" Luz asked.

"Yeah, where is the King of Demons?" Finn asked, just as Eda opened her cloak to reveal she was holding King in a snuggie, fast asleep.

"His little body just conks out when he's weightless. Look at this." Eda moved back and forth, and King just snoozed away.

"Aww," Jake, Finn, and Luz said in unison.

"Anyway, I'm really going now. And Luz, Jake... if you mess up the house, I will never trust you again. No pressure!" Eda warned. "Also, Finn, if you mess up, whenever Asher gets back to the human world, he's going to win over his brothers, and I'm going to tell him he's in a better place now with the Titans. Bye!" Eda said, leaving.

"I have a bad feeling about all this," Jake said.

"Yeah, you think?" Finn replied.

"Okay, coast is clear," Luz called out.

"Release!" Willow said, undoing her spell and revealing herself, Marina, and Gus hiding in the bushes. Gus had headphones in, watching the videos Jake had given him.

"You monster! How could you do that?!" Gus gasped, his eyes glued to the screen.

"Which one are you watching?" Jake asked, looking over to see Pegasus taking Grandpa Muto's soul. "Oh yeah, that's a sad episode," Jake cringed as Gus turned it off.

"These are incredible. Cards that summon monsters, spells, and traps? And this Digimon? An entire world inside a screen where 7 kids meet and already have their own? And how do such big Pokémon fit in such little balls? And when Ash Ketchum and his Pikachu beat a whole flock of Spearow at once, I almost cried!" Gus said as they walked in.

"Yes, Stitch had the same reaction when I showed him Pokémon for the first time," Jake said.

"That's the amazing thing about anime. It really pulls you along for the ride," Luz smiled.

"You think that's cool? Check these out," Jake and Luz said, pulling out some binders and showing Gus pages of Pokémon cards, causing him to jump behind Willow and Marina.

"No! Don't electrocute me with Pikachu!" Gus panicked.

"Whoa, Gus, take it easy. They're not going to do that… wait, are you?" Willow asked.

"Of course not," Jake said.

"Yeah, those things are fake," Finn added.

"Gus, in anime and manga, things happen there that normally don't in our world. You see, our cards are just normal cards," Luz said, holding one out.

"Classic first-time anime viewer," Jake chuckled.

"I have so much to learn," Gus said in awe.

"We've got everything we need: cards, snacks, weird music, and tons of movies and shows," Luz listed.

"And I found a bucket!" Gus said, holding one up.

"Good for you, man," Jake chuckled.

"So how does this whole conjuring thing work?" Luz asked.

"Well, first, we find something to animate. Since it's our first time, we should pick something meaningful and beautiful," Willow suggested, looking toward a plant.

"Like this strangely buff little man?" Gus offered, holding up a buff action figure named Beefy Bob.

"I'm half beef, half buff!" it said.

"He's perfect!" Luz smiled.

"Of course," Jake chuckled.

"I'm going to go make sure our snacks don't run out," Marina said, heading to the kitchen.

Marina reached up on her tiptoes, stretching to grab a bag of snacks from a high shelf in the kitchen. The bag was just out of her reach, and as she leaned a little further, she almost lost her balance.

"Whoa!" she gasped, starting to fall backward.

Jake, who had been watching from the doorway, quickly rushed over and caught her just in time. He held her steady, his arms around her as she steadied herself.

"Gotcha," Jake said softly, a hint of relief in his voice.

Marina looked up at him, their faces just inches apart. For a moment, they locked eyes, both blushing as the reality of the situation settled in.

"Thanks, Jake," Marina said quietly, her cheeks turning a rosy pink.

"No problem," Jake replied, his own face feeling warm. He realized he was still holding onto her and quickly let go, taking a step back. "You, uh, almost took a dive there."

"Yeah," Marina laughed nervously, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Guess I should've asked for help."

Jake rubbed the back of his neck, smiling awkwardly. "I'm glad I was here to catch you."

They both stood there for a moment, the air between them charged with unspoken words, before Marina finally broke the silence.

"So, snacks?" she said, holding up the bag she had successfully grabbed.

"Yeah, right! Snacks!" Jake echoed, snapping out of the moment. "Let's get these back to the others."

They both chuckled, the blush still lingering on their cheeks, as they headed back to the living room with the snacks in hand.

"Hmm, not exactly beautiful," Willow cringed when Gus started to sniffle.

"We'll do a plant next, Willow. Gus really wants to do this one," Jake chuckled as he and Marina walked in.

"Oh, alright," Willow smiled.

"Let's do this, I guess," Finn said nervously.

Sitting down, the six of them placed the figure in the middle while they held hands.

"Feels like one of those old horror movies sitting like this," Jake said.

"At least we know who's getting picked off first," Marina said, causing Jake to chuckle.

"According to the conjuring books I've read, we say the incantation to make a connection with the doll," Willow said.

"Figurine," Gus corrected.

"Moonlight, we call, we sing. Moonlight, take this chance. Moonlight, come tie the string. Moonlight, start the dance!" Gus, Marina, and Willow chanted.

"Uh, we don't know the words," Luz said just as the moon shined down and Hooty's eyes started to glow before all the lights went out.

"That's your cue, little man," Gus said when suddenly the whole house started to rumble.

"Um, guys, what's going on?" Finn asked.

"Hoo," Hooty said spookily as giant legs grew from under the Owl House, lifting it and causing everyone to fall over.

"Guys, did the entire house just hiccup?" Luz asked.

"I know I'm new to this, but does that normally happen?" Jake asked.

"Little buff man, what did you do?" Gus asked, squeezing the figurine.

"A real man never takes accountability," it said.

"No, I think...I think we animated the house by accident," Willow said.

"The house?!" Jake, Finn, and Luz panicked.

Running outside, they stopped just in time to see the house was indeed moving.

"Oh my god, we brought the house to life!" Luz panicked.

"Hooty!" Finn said, turning to him. "Hooty, stop!"

"By the power of moonlight, I have risen. Hoot hoot," Hooty said.

"He's in some kind of trance," Gus said as Hooty moved through some trees, causing them to bump into Gus and make him slip.

"Gus!" Willow and Luz each grabbed a hand, but they started to slip as well.

"We must have animated the house instead of the doll!" Willow said.

"Figurine!" Gus corrected.

"Hang on!" Finn grabbed both Willow and Luz's arms, causing all four of them to glow. "Hooty, stop!" Finn ordered, and right before they hit a cliff, Hooty stopped.

Marina fell into Jake's arms, causing both of them to blush.

"Hey, it worked," Luz said as they pulled Gus to safety.

"How did we do that?" Gus asked as they separated.

"Wait, everyone hold hands again," Luz theorized.

Once they did, they glowed again, and the house stepped back.

"We're controlling it with the power of friendship. And the moon. Probably the moon," Willow said.

"Well, at least we can put the house back," Jake said.

"Um, Jake," Marina said as they both noticed the position they were in. They quickly stepped away from each other, their faces turning red.

"On the one hand, we should probably stay put," Luz said.

"On the other hand, we've got a giant walking house and should totally take it on a joyride!" Gus suggested.

Looking up, Jake, Finn, and Luz saw the moon was still up.

"Okay, but we have to be back before the moon sets," Luz said.

"Yeah, or Eda will kill us," Finn added as they took off.

"I really hope Stitch and Asher are having a better time than we are," Jake said.

Little did they know, a Demon Hunter had spotted the moving house.

Meanwhile, back with Stitch, Asher, and Pleakley, their ship had just arrived at the planet Zyntara, a lush world known for its vibrant flora and a peaceful species called the Xylarians. The Xylarians, glowing, humanoid creatures, lived in harmony with their environment, but recent reports indicated that the planet was under threat from a parasitic entity known as the Kralix s.

As the ship landed, Stitch peered out the window, his large ears twitching as he took in the sights of the glowing trees and bioluminescent rivers.

"Looks like we made it, Stitch," Asher said, unbuckling his seatbelt. "But this place...it feels different than the reports. It's beautiful, but there's an uneasy feeling in the air."

Pleakley, holding a data pad, nervously adjusted his collar. "Yes, well, the Xylarians did say the Kralixs were spreading quickly. They corrupt the land, draining it of energy and life. We need to be careful."

Stitch hopped out of his seat and onto the soft, glowing grass. "Ih, careful! Stitch strong!" He flexed his muscles playfully, but there was a seriousness in his eyes.

Asher smiled at Stitch's confidence but couldn't shake the feeling of dread. "Let's stay on our toes. We need to find the Xylarianss' leader and see how we can help."

The trio started walking through the forest, the soft glow of the trees lighting their path. As they moved deeper into the forest, the once-vibrant colors of the plants began to fade, and the air grew colder. The ground beneath their feet became darker, the first signs of the Kralixs' influence.

Pleakley shuddered. "Oh, I don't like this one bit! These Kralixs are nasty things. If we don't stop them, the whole planet could wither away!"

"Don't worry, Pleakley. We'll stop them," Asher said, trying to reassure him. "But we need to find the Xylarians first. They'll know more about what we're dealing with."

Stitch's ears twitched again as he heard something in the distance. "Someone coming." He pointed ahead.

They followed the direction Stitch indicated, and soon they saw a group of Xylarians approaching. The Xylarians were tall, with delicate features and soft, glowing skin. Their leader, a Xylarian swith a particularly bright glow, stepped forward.

"Welcome, travelers," the Xylarians leader said in a soft, echoing voice. "We are grateful you have come, but you must hurry. The Kralixs are spreading faster than we anticipated. Our home...is dying."

Asher nodded, determination in his eyes. "We're here to help. Tell us what we need to do."

The Xylarians leader gestured towards a distant mountain. "The heart of the Kralix is there, deep within the mountain. It corrupts all it touches. You must destroy it, or Zyntara will be lost."

Stitch grunted, showing his claws. "Stitch smash Kralix ! Protect planet!"

"Yes, Stitch," Asher said, placing a hand on his shoulder. "But we have to be smart about this. Let's gather as much information as we can and then make a plan. We won't let the Kralix destroy this planet."

Pleakley swallowed nervously but nodded. "Right, smart plan first, then saving the planet. No pressure or anything!"

With their mission clear, the group prepared to face the dangers ahead. The fate of Xylarians and the Planet rested in their hands, and they knew there was no turning back.

In the Night Market, Eda was walking through the booths looking for that Grimm guy.

Suddenly more feathers came out of her arm.

"he curse. I need that elixir. Quick." Eda mumbles when she noticed a demon sitting down. "Hey, you. You know where I can find a Grimm Hammer?"

Looking up the demon points down the path to a booth covered with a tarp up front.

Meanwhile, back at the Owl House, Jake and Luz were sharing some very important details with Gus.

"So you see, Gus, in our world, there are different guidelines for what they put into anime and other shows. There's English Subbed anime, where everything is in its original content for the original audience," Jake explained.

"And then there's English Dubbed, which is adapted for people in the United States," Luz added.

"Fascinating! And which is better?" Gus asked, intrigued.

"Hmm, it depends on the anime, but we watch both," Jake said.

"That's so cool," Gus said, when Willow suddenly noticed someone walking nearby.

"Hey, look!" Willow pointed out as they noticed Boscha talking into what appeared to be a bird.

"It's Boscha, that girl who made fun of us," Gus said.

"I wonder what she's saying," Marina said.

"Yes, Mom. I'm going to a moonlight conjuring. No, Mom, you can't come. And yes, Mom, it's sad that you're asking," Boscha said as the crow cawed before flying away to deliver the message.

Turning around, Boscha saw the house on the hill.

"She noticed us! What do we do?" Willow asked, while Luz paused, an idea forming in her mind.

"Gus," Luz whispered before a magical megaphone appeared in front of her. "Hey. H-Hey, you. You should, uh, stop being so mean to people. You're kind of a jerk," Luz said in a spooky voice, causing them all to snicker.

"Ew. A talking house is giving me a lecture? Whatever. I'll just TP you like I did with the rest of the neighborhood," Boscha scoffed, unimpressed.

Getting an idea, Jake tapped Luz's shoulder, asking if he could step in.

Nodding, Luz stepped back as Jake cleared his throat. "Very well, if you will not heed my warning, then you will suffer!" Jake roared as the house started to move, causing Boscha to scream and run off when she saw it coming toward her.

"Okay, that was genius," Luz said as they all laughed.

"No bully gets away from Jake Evans," Jake boasted, making Marina giggle.

"I've never pranked anyone before. And now I have a taste for it," Gus said.

"We should follow her to Amity's house to show off our conjuring. That will show her who's got no talent," Willow suggested.

Looking up, Luz, Finn, and Jake saw the moon coming down.

"Uh, guys, sorry, but it's getting late," jake said.

"Yeah, we need to get back," Luz agreed.

"She's right, we need to go, like, now," Finn said.

"Amity's updating her Penstagram," Gus said, showing them the post.

"Shout out to my fellow witches and wizards. #HumansBiteIt?!" Luz read, before she and Jake both growled. "Let's do it."

"Amity, what the heck?" Jake thought to himself.

"This is going to be a bad idea," Finn said.

As they made their way towards Amity's house, multiple shadowy figures followed them.

Meanwhile As the group moved forward, Asher kept a close eye on their surroundings, his senses heightened. The landscape of Zyntara was eerily beautiful, with glowing plants and towering crystal formations, but the presence of the Kralix had twisted parts of it into a dark, corrupted wasteland.

"Stay alert," Asher said quietly. "The Kralix could have defenses we're not aware of."

Stitch, ever eager, sniffed the air and growled softly. "Kralix smell bad. Stitch smash soon."

As they approached the base of the mountain, the ground trembled slightly. Pleakley jumped, clutching onto Asher's arm. "I really hope that's not a sign of what's to come."

The Xylarians' leader, who had been guiding them, stopped and pointed to a narrow passage leading into the mountain. "This is the entrance. Inside, you will find the heart of the Kralix. Be cautious—its power is overwhelming."

Asher nodded. "Thank you. We'll handle it from here." He turned to Stitch and Pleakley. "Okay, team, this is it. We go in, destroy the heart, and get out. Stay close, and watch each other's backs."

Stitch pounded his fists together. "Stitch ready!"

Pleakley, despite his fear, managed a shaky smile. "I-I'm with you guys. Let's do this."

Together, they entered the dark passage, the weight of their mission heavy on their shoulders. The further they ventured, the stronger the sense of corruption became, and they could feel the malevolent presence of the Kralix growing closer.

As they reached the heart of the mountain, a massive, pulsating mass of darkness loomed before them—the heart of the Kralix. It radiated a powerful, ominous energy that made the air thick with dread.

Asher tightened his grip on his weapon. "This is it. Stick to the plan. Stitch, you're up first."

Stitch snarled, his eyes narrowing as he prepared to strike. "Stitch smash!"

With a fierce battle cry, Stitch charged at the heart of the Kralix, ready to do whatever it took to protect the planet of Zyntara.

At the Night Market, Eda entered the booth.

"Hello? Uh, I seek the one they call Grimm Hammer." Eda calls out.

"I'm the one they call Grimm Hammer." A voice said when suddenly the curtains were pulled up and a small yellow demon with glasses popped up. This was Tibbles. "Welcome, welcome, welcome. I've got weaponry from the Hinterlands, curses from the Winterlands, and jelly beans."

"Jellybeans!" King said excited.

"They're lethally delicious." Tibbles said as Eda smacks a Jellybean out of King's hands.

"You're the Grimm Hammer?" Eda repeats in disbelief.

"Tibblet‐Tibblie Grimm Hammer the third. Please, call me Tibbles." He said causing King to laugh.

"He wants to be called that." King said.

"Okay, Tibbles. I need some of this elixir." Eda said holding out the bottle.

"Oh. This is one wicked brew. Lucky for you I just stocked up." Tibbles said pulling out a filled one.

"Huzzam! I'll give you ten snails for it." Eda said.

"And two more zeros and it's a deal." Tibbles said.

"A thousand snails? What kind of game are you playing?" Eda asks shocked.

"Capitalism. Where everyone wins, except you." Tibbles said jumping behind the counter.

"Why you!" Eda growls when she noticed a deck of cards on the table. "Say, you play Hexas Hold'em?"

"Really? Now?" King asks.

"Oh! Is that what that game is called? I was using these as coasters." Tibbles said.

"How about we make it interesting? I win, you give me the elixir. You win, you can take something of mine." Eda offers.

"Oh, what fun. You're on." Tibbles smiles.

In another part of town, people were screaming as they saw the Owl House moving down the street.

"Okay, careful—it's getting a little cramped in here," Jake said, just as Willow spotted the Blight Manor.

"Look, Amity's house! Time to show her what a real conjuring looks like," Willow said excitedly.

But before they could show off, a giant rope flew over the house and tied it down.

"What was that?" Gus gasped.

"Is that a giant crossbow?" Luz pointed out.

"What is a giant crossbow doing here anyway?" Marina asked, puzzled.

"Guys, duck now!" Finn yelled.

They looked down just in time to see the giant crossbow fire another rope, which forced the house down to the ground. A demon hunter leaped up in front of them.

"Knock, knock," he growled, before sparks shot from his hands, and a bright light engulfed them.

Meanwhile Back on planet Zyntara. With a mighty roar, Stitch charged forward, his claws slashing through the air as he aimed for the heart. The Kralix responded immediately, tendrils of corrupted energy lashing out to defend itself. Stitch dodged and weaved through the onslaught, his movements swift and precise, but the tendrils were relentless.

Stitch's claws finally connected with the heart, tearing into its dark surface. The heart trembled and pulsed violently, but the attack wasn't enough to destroy it. Instead, the Kralix retaliated with a surge of dark energy, forcing Stitch back as he growled in frustration.

"Asher! The heart is strong—too strong!" Pleakley shouted from the sidelines, panic in his voice.

Asher's eyes narrowed as he summoned his magic, his hands crackling with electricity. "We'll need more than brute strength. Stitch, keep it distracted—I'll hit it with everything I've got!"

Stitch nodded, continuing his relentless assault, but the Kralix was growing more aggressive, its dark energy waves becoming more powerful and erratic. Stitch was forced to dodge and evade, struggling to maintain his ground.

Asher stepped forward, his eyes glowing with the intense yellow light of his lightning magic. He could feel the power building within him, a storm ready to be unleashed. "This ends now!" he shouted, thrusting his hands forward as bolts of lightning erupted from his fingertips, striking the heart with a deafening crack of thunder.

The heart recoiled under the assault, but instead of weakening, it seemed to absorb some of the energy, growing larger and more menacing. The mountain trembled, and the air grew thicker with dark energy, suffocating and overwhelming.

Pleakley's fear was palpable as he watched the heart absorb the lightning. "What do we do now? It's only getting stronger!"

Just then, Jumba's voice crackled over the communicator in Stitch's ear. "Listen closely, 626! There is more power within you than you realize! I installed a power cell inside your body when I created you—a special gift from me. To activate it, you must think of your friends, your ohana—everything you care about. It will supercharge you!"

Stitch's eyes widened in realization. "Power cell? Jumba, why not tell Stitch sooner?!"

"No time for that now! Think about your loved ones, and let the power flow through you!"

Stitch took a deep breath, his mind racing. He closed his eyes and focused on the faces of those he cared about—jake, his ohana, the friends who had become his family, and the planet of Zyntara, which needed him now more than ever. As he did, he felt a warmth in his chest, a powerful surge of energy that quickly turned into a searing heat.

Suddenly, blue electricity began to crackle around Stitch, his body glowing with an intense light as the power cell activated. His eyes glowed bright blue, and his entire form was enveloped in a powerful aura of electricity. The power was overwhelming, but Stitch embraced it, letting it fuel his determination and strength.

Asher, still battling the tendrils of dark energy, glanced back at Stitch and grinned. "Stitch, you're glowing—let's finish this!"

Stitch, now fully charged with the power of the core, bared his teeth in a fierce smile. "Stitch smash!"

With his new power, Stitch charged at the heart of the Kralix with renewed vigor. His claws, now crackling with blue electricity, tore through the dark tendrils with ease. He leaped into the air, delivering a powerful kick to the heart that sent shockwaves through the chamber.

Asher, seeing the opportunity, raised his hands above his head, summoning a massive sphere of yellow electricity. The sphere crackled and pulsed with energy, growing larger with every passing second.

"Stitch, get clear!" Asher shouted, his voice booming with power.

Stitch nodded and leaped back, landing next to Pleakley, who was watching in awe. "Asher big power now!"

With a fierce battle cry, Asher hurled the massive sphere of electricity at the heart of the Kralix. The sphere collided with the heart, unleashing a massive explosion of blue light and electricity that engulfed the entire chamber. The ground shook violently, and the walls of the mountain trembled as the heart of the Kralix was hit with the full force of Asher's power.

The heart shrieked in agony, its dark energy writhing and convulsing as the lightning tore through it. The once overwhelming force of corruption began to weaken, and cracks began to form on the surface of the heart.

Stitch, still supercharged with his own blue electricity, saw an opening and charged forward once more. "Stitch smash!" he roared, delivering a series of powerful punches and kicks to the heart, each strike sending shockwaves through the chamber.

Asher joined in, his fists crackling with yellow electricity as he delivered a powerful punch to the heart, followed by a lightning-infused kick that sent the heart reeling. The combined assault of Asher and Stitch was relentless, each strike weakening the heart further.

Finally, with one final surge of power, Asher and Stitch delivered a simultaneous attack. Asher unleashed a powerful bolt of lightning from his hands, while Stitch delivered a devastating punch with his electrified claws. The two attacks combined, striking the heart with such force that it shattered into a million pieces.

The dark energy that had once filled the chamber dissipated into the air like a storm breaking after a long night. The mountain, once corrupted and twisted, began to return to its natural state. The air cleared, and the malevolent presence of the Kralix was no more.

Asher, now exhausted, collapsed to his knees, the yellow electricity fading from his body as his power ebbed away. He breathed heavily, a smile of relief spreading across his face. "We did it…"

Stitch rushed over, pulling Asher into a tight hug. "Asher save planet! Stitch knew you could do it!"

Pleakley, still trembling but clearly relieved, joined them, patting Asher on the back. "That was incredible! I've never seen anything like it!"

The Xylarians' leader, who had been watching from the entrance, approached them with tears of gratitude in his eyes. "You have saved our world. We are forever in your debt."

Asher, still catching his breath, managed a humble nod. "We were just doing what we had to do."

On the outskirts of town, the Demon Hunters were dragging the house away while Jake, Marina, Finn, Luz, Willow, and Gus were tied up inside.

"Hooty! Hooty! You have to wake up," Luz said, kicking the door.

"Yeah, dude, please wake up! We need you right now!" Finn yelled.

"If you want this to end, as you say, six of us must hold hands. It's the only way," Hooty chanted.

"¡Oye, no me hables así!" Luz snapped in Spanish.

"Smitec !" Jake snapped in Tantalog.

"Willow, will you help us out with Hooty?" Luz asked.

"You guys shouldn't ask me to help with anything. I'm sorry," Willow frowned.

"Willow..." Luz said, feeling sorry for her when the house suddenly stopped, and they all landed on the ground.

"Did the house stop moving?" Jake groaned.

"Yeah, it did," Finn replied.

"My insides didn't," Gus groaned.

"Um, guys, who is that?" Marina asked when the door opened, revealing a Demon Hunter.

"What the heck is your problem?" Jake growled as he picked himself up.

"Excuse me?" The Demon Hunter glared, locking eyes with Jake.

"What gives you the right to do this to us and take our home?" Jake demanded, causing the Demon Hunter to smirk.

"I'm a Demon Hunter, kid. As long as a demon is involved, I can do whatever I want." He smirked, throwing them out onto the ground. "Take the house and rip out the house demon. We can sell it to restaurants as exotic meat."

"No! Hooty would taste terrible!" Luz protested.

"Hey, I'm a refined taste. Hoot, hoot," Hooty added.

"What do we do with the worms?" Another Demon Hunter asked.

"Throw them over the cliff," the leader smirked.

Cringing, the six of them were brought to the edge.

"Alright, kids. Here's the end of your short little lives," the Demon Hunter said.

"Wait! Wait! Wait! Is this really what you want to be doing with your life? Tossing kids from cliffs?" Gus asked.

"Actually, yes. It's been my dream since I was a boy," he smiled, causing them to look at him weirdly.

"Dude, you have issues," Jake said.

"You really do, like you need therapy or something," Finn added.

"Your mental health must be messed up," Marina commented.

"What are you, my mom?" he asked before pushing them off the cliff.

Jake! Do something!" Luz screamed.

"Right! Astral Convergence Magic: Star Warp!" Jake yelled, but nothing happened.

"What is going on?" Jake said, trying to focus his magic, but nothing was working.

"We need a new plan here!" Finn yelled.

Luz, thinking quickly, pulled out a piece of paper with a light glyph she had drawn earlier and slapped it onto her plasma blaster. "Light glyph—plasma burst!" she shouted, pulling the trigger. A brilliant beam of light shot out from the blaster, creating a powerful burst that pushed them upward, slowing their descent.

As the light began to fade, Jake reacted swiftly. "Starlight Blade!" he called out, summoning a glowing sword made of pure energy. The sword appeared in his hand, its radiant blade slicing through the air as he swung it. With a single powerful slash, he created a platform of starlight beneath them, catching them just before they hit the rocks and allowing them to stand on it safely.

The platform hovered in the air, casting a protective glow around them. Jake focused, maintaining control over the starlight while the others regained their balance.

"That was too close," Willow muttered, clutching her chest as she tried to steady her breathing.

Finn looked down at the hunters who were now glaring up at them from the cliff's edge. "We can't let these guys get away with this. We need to fight back."

Jake nodded, determination hardening his expression. "Right. Let's take them down before they try something else."

The lead Demon Hunter sneered, raising his weapon. "You think your little tricks are going to save you? You're just delaying the inevitable."

"We'll see about that," Jake retorted, summoning more energy into his Starlight Blade. The blade flared with light, sending out pulses of energy as Jake prepared for battle.

The Demon Hunters lunged, launching a barrage of attacks. The air crackled with dark energy as they unleashed their magic and weapons, aiming to knock the group off the starlight platform.

Luz aimed her plasma blaster at the incoming attacks. "Plasma burst!" she shouted, firing another blast of light-infused energy. The beam collided with the dark energy, exploding in a shower of sparks that lit up the sky.

Willow, finding her resolve, took a deep breath and summoned her magic. "Binding vines!" she called out, and thick, green vines shot up from the ground, wrapping around the hunters' legs and pulling them down, slowing their movements.

Marina added her own power to the fight, drawing water from the air and forming it into sharp icicles. "Try this!" she shouted, sending the icy projectiles flying toward the hunters.

The Demon Hunters struggled against the combined assault, but their leader wasn't ready to give up. He broke free from the vines and charged forward, swinging his blade with deadly precision.

"Jake, watch out!" Gus warned, creating an illusionary barrier to slow the hunter's advance.

Jake responded with a burst of energy from the Starlight Blade, sending a wave of force toward the advancing hunter. "Back off!" he shouted, the energy knocking the hunter back and disarming him.

As the leader stumbled, Finn saw an opening. "wind Magic!" he called out, summoning a powerful gust of wind that swirled around him. He directed the wind toward the hunter, lifting him off his feet and slamming him into the ground with a resounding thud.

Luz fired another plasma burst, this time aiming at the remaining hunters. The light struck true, blinding them and forcing them to retreat.

The lead Demon Hunter, now weaponless and beaten, glared at them with burning hatred. "You may have won this time, but we'll be back. Mark my words."

Jake held his gaze, unflinching. "We'll be ready."

The hunters, their resolve shattered, turned and fled into the distance, leaving the group victorious and relieved.

As the adrenaline began to fade, the group slowly descended from the starlight platform, now safely back on solid ground.

Luz looked around at her friends, pride swelling in her chest. "We did it. We actually did it."

Jake smiled, though exhaustion was evident in his eyes. "Yeah... that was intense."

Willow nodded, her earlier doubts replaced with newfound confidence. "I couldn't have done it without all of you."

Gus grinned, clapping Jake on the back. "You really saved the day with that Starlight Blade, Jake. That was awesome."

Marina hugged Jake, her relief clear. "Thank you, Jake. You were amazing."

Finn sheathed his sword, a satisfied smile on his face. "We all did great. No one messes with our group and gets away with it."

Hooty, finally waking up from his slumber, let out a hoot of triumph. "Hoot, hoot! You saved me from becoming a snack!"

Luz laughed, shaking her head. "We couldn't let you get eaten, Hooty. You're part of our family."

Meanwhile, the Demon Hunters retreated, their leader muttering under his breath, "I can't believe we got beaten by a bunch of kids..."

His companions, battered and bruised, exchanged nervous glances. "Maybe we should rethink this whole demon-hunting thing..."

The leader growled in frustration, but deep down, he knew they had underestimated their opponents. "Next time... next time, we'll be ready," he muttered, though a part of him wasn't so sure.

Luz turned to Jake, a thoughtful expression on her face. "Hey, Jake... about that Starlight Blade... How did you know it would work so well?"

Jake chuckled, rubbing the back of his head. "Honestly? I've been practicing it for a while. I knew it would work, but I've never tried using it in a real fight until now."

Luz smiled, patting him on the shoulder. "Well, it worked perfectly. You're a natural."

Jake blushed slightly at the compliment, but before he could respond, Finn spoke up. "And Luz, that plasma burst with the light glyph? That was genius. You saved us all."

Luz grinned, her eyes twinkling with pride. "Thanks, Finn. I guess all that glyph practice paid off."

At the stand, Eda was lying on the ground while King was dressed in a little sailor outfit.

"King, I'm sorry," Eda apologized.

"King? Who's King? I've got my little bone boy now," King said.

"I know I have a problem. I get obsessed with Hexes Hold'em. But I'm done with that stupid game. Look." Eda grabbed a card and bit into it, chewing it up.

"You promise?" King asked.

"I promise," Eda replied, her voice muffled, causing King to laugh.

"Okay, okay," King said, breaking out of his lock. "I'll grab you the elixir, and then we can bust out of here."

"Bone boy!" Tibbles called, stopping him. "You will do no such thing. The Emperor's Coven is already on its way to send this witch here to the Conformatorium. Plus, I've already rustled up more clothes for you to try on."

"Just because I have a model's body doesn't mean you can use me like this," King declared when they heard a loud stomping noise.

"I can and I am, bone boy. I've got the cards stacked against you," Tibbles said as the stomping grew louder. "And nothing can stop me. Nothing!"

Suddenly, a giant foot smashed through the stand, knocking the elixir out of his hands.

"Sorry, mister," Luz called out.

Looking up, they saw Luz, Jake, Finn, Marina, Willow, and Gus guiding the Owl House back.

As Eda laughed at Tibbles' misfortune, she paused. "Wait, was that my house?"

"Eda, quick!" King grabbed the elixir and tossed it to her. Eda gulped it down, breaking free from the chains as her feathers disappeared.

"No, no, no! My scam stand!" Tibbles cried.

"Sorry, Tibbles, old boy. Looks like you forgot about the wild card," Eda said, tossing the cards at him before leaving.

"Curse you, witch! Curse you, bone boy! I'll have my revenge! Tibblet-Tibblie Grimm Hammer the Third will have his revenge!" Tibbles declared as his stand came crashing down on him.

At the Owl House, they all worked together to put the house back where it belonged.

"Did we do it?" Luz asked as the door opened.

"Is the room spinning, or is it just me?" Hooty laughed. "Just a little house humor."

"Sorry, Hooty," Jake said.

"Yeah, sorry, man," Finn added.

"It's okay. I'm just glad I was included," Hooty replied as the door closed, revealing that Eda and King had returned.

"Uh oh," Jake, Finn, and Luz gulped.

"You three are so busted," Eda glared at them.

"Hold me," Luz whispered, clinging to Jake for dear life.

"You three held a moonlight conjuring," Eda said sternly.

"We did," Jake admitted.

"And you animated my house. My house!" Eda gestured toward the house.

"Yes," Luz admitted.

"Even when I told you not to?" Eda asked.

"Yes," Finn replied as Willow, Marina, and Gus stepped in front of them.

"No, don't punish Luz, Finn, and Jake. We're the ones who pushed them to do the conjuring," Willow said.

"Yeah, it was our fault," Marina agreed, glancing at Jake.

"If you're gonna eat me, just do it now. Do it now!" Gus said, gesturing dramatically.

"You guys don't have to do this," Jake said.

"Yes, we do," Willow nodded.

Eda crossed her arms, staring down at the group with a mix of frustration and amusement. "Well, I appreciate the honesty. But you all still broke a serious rule."

Luz, still clinging to Jake, looked up at Eda with wide, pleading eyes. "We just wanted to see if we could do it. We didn't mean to cause any harm."

"Yeah," Finn chimed in, "it was supposed to be harmless fun."

Eda sighed, rubbing her temples. "I get it, kids. Believe me, I was your age once. But you can't just go around animating houses without knowing the consequences. You could have seriously hurt someone—or worse."

Marina stepped forward, her voice soft but firm. "We're really sorry, Eda. We should have thought it through more."

"Sorry doesn't cut it, but at least you're owning up to it," Eda said, her tone softening slightly. "I'm not mad, just… worried. This kind of magic isn't something to mess around with."

King, who had been watching from the sidelines, stepped up next to Eda. "Yeah, and what if the house decided to take a vacation? Where would we live then?"

Hooty interjected with a giggle, "I'd never leave you, King. You're my little bone boy!"

Everyone, despite the tension, couldn't help but crack a small smile at Hooty's comment.

Eda finally relaxed, a small smile tugging at her lips. "Alright, alright. You're off the hook this time. But next time, think before you act, okay?"

Luz, Finn, and Jake all nodded eagerly. "We promise!" they said in unison.

Willow, Marina, and Gus exchanged relieved looks, glad that their friends weren't in serious trouble.

"Good," Eda said, her stern demeanor returning for just a moment. "Now, all of you, clean up this mess. And don't even think about trying something like this again without my supervision."

"Yes, ma'am!" they all chorused, quickly getting to work.

As they started cleaning up, Luz glanced over at Jake and Finn with a grateful smile. "Thanks for sticking up for me."

"Of course," Jake replied, returning her smile. "We're in this together, right?"

"Always," Finn added with a nod.

With the tension finally easing, the group worked together to put everything back in order, grateful that they had made it through their adventure with only a stern warning—and a valuable lesson learned.

At Amity's house, Boscha and her friends were sitting around a doll, frustrated that they couldn't bring it to life.

"Ugh. So what if we couldn't move a doll? Now we have time for what really matters... Penstagram," Boscha said with a smirk as they all took out their scrolls.

Nearby, Amity was sitting by the window when she heard Boscha gasp.

Walking over, she saw pictures of Luz, Jake, Finn, Marina, Willow, and Gus riding the Owl House all over Penstagram.

"What?!" Amity and Boscha gasped in shock.

Later that night at the Owl House, the goodbyes were heartfelt as Luz's friends headed home. Marina lingered in the doorway, her gaze fixed on Jake, who was standing nearby.

"Hey, Marina," Jake said, offering a warm smile. "Everything okay?"

Marina took a deep breath, her eyes reflecting a mixture of emotions. "Yeah, I just wanted to say... thanks for everything tonight. It was really something."

Jake noticed the seriousness in her voice. "Yeah, it was. But we made it through together."

Marina looked down for a moment, then met his gaze with a soft smile. "You were incredible out there. I mean, I know everyone played their part, but you... you really stood out."

Jake felt a blush creeping up his cheeks. "I couldn't have done it without everyone. But I appreciate the compliment."

Marina stepped a little closer, her voice lowering. "It's just... seeing you in action, seeing how you handled everything... it made me realize how important you are to this group. To me."

Jake's heart skipped a beat. "Marina, I—"

Before he could respond, Marina continued, her tone more earnest. "I've been thinking a lot about how things have changed since we started this adventure. It's been rough, but... being with you and everyone, it's made me feel like we're all part of something bigger. And you... you're a big part of that for me."

Jake looked at her, feeling a mix of emotions. "I didn't realize I had such an impact. I just... I care about everyone here, you included."

Marina's eyes softened, a hint of vulnerability in her smile. "I know. And I care about you too, Jake. More than I realized."

There was a moment of silence, filled with unspoken feelings. Jake took a small step closer, his voice gentle. "I'm glad to hear that. It means a lot."

Marina looked at him with a lingering gaze, her expression a blend of affection and uncertainty. "I should probably head home. But... I just wanted you to know how I feel."

Jake nodded, a smile tugging at his lips. "Thanks for telling me. I'm really glad you did."

As Marina turned to leave, she hesitated at the door, looking back at Jake. "See you around, Jake."

"Yeah, see you, Marina," Jake replied, watching her walk away with a contemplative look on his face.

As the door closed behind Marina, Jake felt a flutter of emotions. He knew there was something special between them, something that might not be fully defined yet, but it was there, and it made him look forward to what the future might hold.

Later that night, Jake lay in bed, his mind occupied with thoughts of Marina. He replayed the memories in his head—how he had first met her, saving her from the Griffin. The way her eyes had looked, filled with both gratitude and something more. He also thought about the necklace he had given her, a token of their bond.

As he turned restlessly, his thoughts wandered to the moments they had shared since then, how their friendship had grown into something deeper, something he couldn't quite define but felt strongly. He found himself lost in contemplation, trying to piece together the significance of his feelings.

Just then, the door creaked open, and Stitch walked in from the human Realm. His blue fur was dirtied and matted from a long mission, but there was a certain look of satisfaction in his eyes. He spotted Jake and gave a tired but friendly wave.

"Hey, Stitch," Jake greeted, his voice weary but warm. "How was the mission?"

Stitch padded over, letting out a contented sigh. "Stitch finish mission. All good. You okay?"

Jake smiled, appreciating the concern. "Yeah, just thinking... about Marina. You know, the necklace I gave her and how we first met. It's... it's been on my mind a lot."

Stitch's ears perked up, his eyes showing a flicker of understanding. "Stitch think you have strong feelings. Sometimes, it hard to understand but feelings real."

Jake nodded, feeling a bit of comfort from Stitch's words. "Yeah, it's confusing but real. I just hope I'm not overthinking things."

Stitch approached Jake and gave him a gentle pat on the shoulder. "Sometimes, best to let feelings guide you. And remember, you not alone."

Jake looked at Stitch, grateful for the support. "Thanks, Stitch. I guess I just needed to hear that."

Stitch nodded and shuffled to his bed, ready to settle down for the night. "Rest now. Tomorrow is new day."

Jake lay back, feeling a bit lighter. With Stitch's presence and his own thoughts clearer, he drifted off to sleep, still thinking about Marina but now with a sense of hope and direction for whatever might come next.
