Corbett's New Assignment
Princess Lavinia and Sofia were outside Amber's bedroom in no time.
Sofia knocked on Amber's door.
Amber opened her bedroom door, then, she picked up a big heavy basket full of her old gowns, "What is it, Sofia?" she asked.
"Dinner is ready, Amber." Sofia said.
"I'll be down in a few minutes, Sofia." Amber said.
Over in the Kingdom of Cariza, Corbett was watching Jane practicing with hers and Dragon's special sword through his crystal ball.
When suddenly, King Joaquin appeared in the doorway.
"Corbett?" King Joaquin asked.
The royal sorcerer of Cariza turned from his crystal ball, "Yes, my king?" he answered.
"The Scarlet Warrior has requested to see you in Cinnibar." King Joaquin said to Corbett.
"Tell her that I will be there shortly." Corbett said to his king, going back to his crystal ball.
"All right." King Joaquin said to Corbett.
King Joaquin left Corbett to what he was doing.
A few hours later, Corbett was on his way to Cinnibar.
At Cinnibar castle, Corbett met Queen Scarlett in her throne room.
"Corbett," Scarlett asked.
"Yes?" Corbett answered.
"I just wanted to tell you that you are doing a great job looking out for Jade and her amulet," Scarlett said to Corbett. "now, I'm afraid that your job is about to get a little more complicated."
"Oh, how so?" Corbett asked.
"King Roland's guest, Jane Turnkey, and her dragon, they have a sword of magical origins, now that they're here Cedric will be after both." Scarlett explained to Corbett.
Corbett nodded in understanding, "Of course he will. why would he settle for one magical treasure when he can have two!" he exclaimeed.
"Exactly." Scarlett said. "so, I need you to protect both Jade and our guests."
"I shall not let you down, Queen Scarlett." Corbett said, saluting his right hand gratefully.
