"This is really starting to get on my nerves; why do these people want me? Somebody had better give me answers soon." This was what W was thinking as she sat in her cell. Ever since she had been captured, nobody had come to see her and explain what they wanted. This was really starting to frustrate the sarkaz, but since she didn't have any weapons, all W could do was wait.

Eventually, she heard a familiar voice. "So, they have made contact with each other?" W knew exactly who it was. "Kal'tsit?! What are you doing here?!" Another voice then replied, "Yes, Doctor Kal'tsit. The abyssal hunters made contact with Yua. As far as we know, the church of the deep in that area has been defeated. They are currently on their way back to Rhodes Island. Our organization will keep an eye on them."

The ancient feline spoke again. "I trust W didn't give you any trouble? She needed to be out of the picture just so I could confirm Yua was an enemy or not." The other voice replied. "No, we took away her weapons, Doctor Kal'tsit. She was in no position to be a problem for us." Hearing all of this infuriated W. "So Kal'tsit is the reason I'm in here! Damn her!" But didn't she say she needed to confirm if Yua was an enemy? What was she up to?" After a few minutes of the conversation ending, W's cell door opened, and Kal'tsit stood there.

She simply told W, "We are leaving, get yourself ready and don't cause any trouble." W wanted to know what was going on and asked, "What are you up to Kal'tsit? Why did you have me locked up? Something to do with the doctor's daughter?" Kal'tsit said more sternly, "I will tell you on the way back to Rhodes Island; for now, let's go." Knowing that trying to cause an argument here would not end well for her, W complied. What Kal'tsit was going to tell her, this had better have been worth all of this trouble.

A Rhodes Island vehicle that contained five people was moving through Iberia. The occupants were currently heading back to Rhodes Island. The abyssal hunter named Andreana was the one driving, while Gladiia sat in the passenger seat next to her. Yua was sandwiched between Skadi and Spectre in the back seat.

The lung thought about everything that happened at the coastal village. "I can't believe these four took out all those cultists by themselves," she thought. "They looked like it was no effort for them. How could I face that kind of power? Even though they saved me, they could become my enemies in the future." Yua knew that it was possible that the abyssal hunters could become seaborn in the future. It was a terrifying prospect for the white-haired lung. These people could have been the reason why her time was destroyed; with their power on display, Yua knew she had no chance to defeat them. She had to find a way to stop them from changing in the future.

Her thoughts were interrupted by Gladiia speaking up. "Are you alright, Yua? You have been quiet for some time. If any is wrong, please let me know." Yua shook her head. "I'm fine, Miss Gladiia," the lung replied. Gladiia knew Yua wasn't telling her the truth but didn't push it; she had been through a tough experience after all. Gladiia simply said, "I understand, and there is no need to call me Miss, just my name is fine." Yua then continued her thoughts. "I will need to find a way to stop them. There has to be a way, I just need to find it." After some time, the five of them arrived at Rhodes Island.

They all got out of the vehicle and walked up to the entrance. Once there, however, they saw a large group of operators who looked like they were ready to deploy on a mission. One of the operators recognized Yua and realized who it was. They then shouted out to the rest, "Operator Smokescreen is here! Call the doctor down to the entrance!" One of the other operators then went to fetch the doctor.

Minutes later, the doctor arrived; when he saw Yua, he ran up to her and spoke, "I was worried sick about you. Are you alright?" Yua nodded. "I'm fine, doctor," the white-haired lung said to her father. "The abyssal hunters made sure I was alright." Looking over Yua, the doctor noticed the group. He then walked up to them. "It has been a while, Gladiia," he said to the aegir. "Are you and your group well?" Gladiia replied, "We are fine, doctor. We found your operator in a coastal village while on an errand. We ran into the church of the deep, but she is fine." The church of the deep...the doctor knew what they were capable of from past experiences. While he was glad the abyssal hunters were there, he shuddered at what they could have done to his daughter; he needed to ask her about the letter.

"Well, thank you for helping her; I take it you are here on Rhodes Island for a reason?" The doctor asked Gladiia. She nodded. "Yes, I came to speak to you, and Doctor Kal'tsit about a certain matter. Is that possible right now?" The doctor shook his head. "No, not right now. Currently, I do not know where Kal'tsit is at the moment; when she returns, I will inform her that you wish to speak to her. Until then, you may want to rest in one of the dormitories." Gladiia nodded and then thanked the doctor. The abyssal hunters then left for one of the dormitories. The doctor then walked up to Yua. "We will head up to my office; we need to talk." Yua knew this wasn't going to be pleasant, so she followed her father up to his office...

Once there, the doctor shut the door, and the two of them sat down. The doctor then asked her a question: "What were you doing in that village? What happened?" Yua composed herself for a minute before responding, "I was looking for something in that village, some answers. I can't tell you what exactly the answers are, but I did find some of the answers that I wanted. I'm sorry, I can't tell you more than that." The doctor hated that his daughter wouldn't tell him; he wanted her to trust him with everything.

He knew trying to force the answers out of her right now would get him nowhere. He just had to be patient until the white-haired lung was ready to tell him. He then questioned her again: "Very well. What happened with the church of the deep? Gladiia mentioned that you and her group ran into them." Yua replied: "I was attacked from behind. Next thing I knew, I was chained down to an altar, and a madman wanted me to eat a piece of seaborn he wanted to turn me into one. Gladiia and her abyssal hunters then rescued me. That's what happened, Father."

This news sent shivers down the doctor's spine. These cultists wanted to turn his daughter into a monster. He cursed Kal'tsit for giving his daughter that letter. What was she thinking? It could have gotten her killed or worse. A knock was then heard, and the doctor told whoever it was to come in.

Amiya came inside, and once she saw Yua, the cautus sprinted up to the lung and got her in a death grip of a hug. "Too tight!" Yua thought as Amiya had her in a vice grip. Amiya then spoke: "I'm glad you're safe! The doctor was worried! He was ready to send a search party for you! I was worried! I thought I had lost my sister!" Yua's eyes then widened. "Sister! How does she know?" Yua then looked over at her father, who had his head down. "Why did you tell her, father!? This just makes things more difficult!" The doctor honestly replied: "She would have found out sooner or later. I thought it was best to let her know now. I know you aren't blood-related, but she is your sister, after all."

Amiya then spoke in the doctors defence, "Please don't blame the doctor; he has his reasons, and I know you weren't raised by him, but he wants to make up for that. He wants you to have as much family around you as possible." Yua could understand this reasoning, so she conceded to Amiya. Besides, it wasn't all bad. "Huh," she thought to herself. "I actually get to be the older sister to Amiya in this time. It's funny how things work." Just then, the phone on the doctor's desk rang, and he went to answer it. After a quick conversation, the doctor spoke to Yua and Amiya. "Kal'tsit and W have returned. I'm going down to the entrance to meet them." Amiya remembered what W had done to the doctor, and to Yua, she didn't want to let it go.

Amiya then spoke, "I will go and meet them, Doctor. I won't be long." The way Amiya spoke gave the doctor second thoughts; should she go see them? Kal'tsit was there, however, so nothing should happen. Deciding that nothing was going to happen, the doctor let Amiya go and meet Kal'tsit and W.

At the entrance, the two of them were talking. "So that's why you concocted this scheme, Kal'tsit? You didn't trust the doctor's daughter?" W asked Kal'tsit. The ancient feline replied, "Yes, also to teach you a lesson. You have been pushing your luck. You had best stay in line from now on." W simply waved her off. The sarkaz knew she had been pushing things, but she just wanted to get back at the doctor. Having a go at his daughter seemed the best idea in her mind, but she realized it was best to stop it…at least for now.

Amiya then appeared in front of the two and spoke, "Hello Doctor Kal'tsit, hello…W." The cautus was looking at W like a hunter was targeting its prey. Kal'tsit knew immediately something was wrong with Amiya; she then looked at W, The sarkaz woman could see it too. W thought, "Why's she looking at me like she wants to kill me? What's going on?" Amiya answered her question for her, "I know what you have been doing to the doctor and Yua, blackmailing him and taking out your frustrations on Yua…unforgivable!" Amiya then produced black magic in her hand and aimed it towards W.

W's eyes widened. She knew what was about to happen, W still didn't have her weapons, so all she could do was run, which she did. The blast narrowly missed W, and Amiya gave chase, Kal'tsit shouted out to Amiya, "Amiya! Stop! This is going too far!" The cautus didn't listen, however, and carried on chasing W. Knowing what was going to happen, Kal'tsit called every operator in the area to stop Amiya before she killed W. All the operators then began chasing after the pair; all the ancient feline could think was, "Dammit doctor! What have you told her?!"

As Yua and her father were talking, they felt an explosion aboard the landship; they immediately rushed down to the entrance, thinking they were under attack. Once there, they met Kal'tsit, who immediately began berating the doctor. "What did you tell Amiya? She's gone berserk! Amiya wants to kill W!" The doctor then reluctantly explained what he told her, causing Kal'tsit to really lose it with him. The ancient feline then said that the two of them had better come and help to calm Amiya down. The two of them followed Kal'tsit to try to stop Amiya from killing W...

W was cornered; she had nowhere to go. Amiya had been chasing her throughout the landship, trying to hit her with her magic. The sarkaz had been able to avoid it, but now she was trapped. Amiya was blocking her only exit. Putting her hands up in surrender, W spoke to her in an attempt to calm the cautus down. "Okay, Amiya. I took things too far. There's no reason to do this. I promise not to do it again." Amiya wasn't buying it. "Too far?! You were blackmailing the doctor and hurting Yua! My sister!" Amiya screamed at W. The sarkaz replied, "I know. I just wanted to get some payback against the doctor. He did something to someone I cared about in the past. I just wanted to return the favour, and his daughter seemed the best option."

"Operator Smokescreen is the doctor's daughter?!" someone shouted out. Unbeknownst to the two, many operators had caught up to the pair; they had just heard what was said. Amiya was wide-eyed, unable to speak. Yua, the doctor, and Kal'tsit then arrived on the scene. Once they arrived, an operator walked up to the doctor and asked, "Doctor, is it true that Operator Smokescreen is your daughter?" This caught all three off guard. Seeing how Amiya was looking, the doctor realized the truth must have slipped; knowing he could not lie, the doctor simply nodded his head, and many operators surrounded him. They all began bombarding him with questions.

seeing what was going on all Amiya could think was "Oh no! What have I done…"
