"Well, there you go, Yua. Your arm is healed now. Try to take it easy, kid." Gavial said to the lung as she was having her cast removed.

Once the cast was completely off her arm, Yua moved her arm around at the wrist and elbow just to make sure she didn't have any more issues.

When the white-haired lung was satisfied that she didn't feel she had any more issues with the arm, Yua thanked Doctor Gavial for all her help and then left her to carry on with her work.

When Yua left, the archosauria grimly thought to herself, "Please be careful, Yua. Nobody wants you to end up dead, least of all the doctor and Amiya." Gavial still remembered what happened to the lung when she used her Originium Arts; she knew her father would be having a talk with her about that subject.

Gavial prayed that the doctor would inform the lung of the dangers that came with using such dangerous arts...

When Yua was outside Gavial's office, she decided to head to her father's office to let him know that she was fully recovered. "I bet father will be happy I'm alright; I'll see him and give him the good news," the lung thought as she made her way to her father's office.

However, when Yua arrived, she saw her father talking with someone. Looking at the other person, Yua could see it was her mother, Ch'en, and she had a smile on her face."What's mother doing here? Why does she have a huge smile on her face? What has happened?" Yua pondered to herself while looking at the smiling blue-haired lung.

Whatever put a smile on her mother's face must have been really good news. Both the doctor and Ch'en noticed Yua had arrived; Ch'en then spoke, "It's good to see you have completely recovered, Yua. We were just talking about you."

Yua could only raise an eyebrow at this. She had no idea why her parents were talking about her.

Ch'en then turned to look at the doctor and said, "Well, I will see you tonight, doctor. I promise you will have a good time here in Lungman." The eyes of the white-haired lung widened when her mother said that to her father. She knew what it meant.

"I know why mother is so happy right now! She is going on a date with Father tonight! She promised she would when she confessed to him! I can't wait! I have to see this!" Yua remembered that Ch'en would show the doctor around Lungman.

However, because of what happened to Yua, her mother knew it wasn't the best time. Ch'en knew that Yua's health and wellbeing were the utmost priority for the doctor, so the blue-haired lung let the man focus on his daughter's recovery from her injuries.

Now that Yua had recovered, Ch'en knew that it was more appropriate to ask the doctor now.

The white-haired lung was ecstatic that her parents would be going on a date tonight; with everything that had happened recently, she needed some good news.

The lung wanted to keep an eye on both of them tonight from a distance. Yua wanted to see her parents' relationship blossom and prevent anyone from potentially interrupting their date; her parents' relationship was sacred to her.

The doctor then said to Ch'en, "I look forward to it, Ch'en, and thank you for letting me focus on Yua; I'm grateful you were so understanding of the situation. She means the world to me." Ch'en nodded at what the doctor said and replied, "I completely understand, doctor. If I had a child, my child's well-being would be the utmost priority as well. I wouldn't focus on anything else." The doctor simply smiled at the blue-haired lungs reply.

Ch'en then bid both father and daughter goodbye and left the office, leaving the two of them alone.

Once they were alone, the doctor looked at the lung and spoke, "Yua, I have something very important to tell you; please close the door. I don't want anyone else to listen in on our conversation."

Yua noticed that the tone of her father's voice sounded incredibly serious, which unsettled the lung somewhat. "Why is Father sounding so serious?" the lung wondered. "Has something happened?"

The lung obeyed her father's instruction and shut the door, both parent and child, then went to sit down in a chair each in his office. Once both of them were comfortable, the doctor looked Yua dead in the eyes and began to speak. "Yua, there is something I need to tell you; it's about your originium arts."

Yua was confused now, "My originium arts? Why are you bringing up my originium arts, father?" The lung asked the doctor.

The doctor let out a sigh; he knew this would be difficult, but he had to let Yua know the truth about her originium arts.

He couldn't bear the thought of losing her due to her own power. It would be too much for him to handle. The doctor composed himself before speaking to his daughter, "Yua, I want the truth. Your originium arts, how many times have you used them before the incident several weeks ago?" Yua was still confused; she really couldn't understand why her father wanted to know this.

Because of Ch'en in the future, Yua only used them once before. The lung didn't understand why her mother forbade her from using them, but the way her father was talking, Yua knew she was about to find out why...

"I have only ever used them once before, father, I promise you." Yua told him the truth; she saw no point in lying to the man. She knew it wouldn't do her any good.

Hearing this, the man was relieved. "That's good to hear." the doctor said. Now he had to tell her why she couldn't use them again."Yua, I never want you to use them ever again." He held his hand up to Yua to stop her from trying to object. He needed to explain why. "Yua, while you were unconscious, Gavial carried out some scans on you. Your originium arts are causing damage to your nervous system and your body. If you carry on using them; they will cause irreversible damage to your body... and they will eventually kill you."

Hearing this shocked Yua; she now understood why Ch'en forbade her from ever using them again in the future. "Is that why mother didn't want me to use my originium arts?" Yua grimly thought to herself. "She was scared of me damaging my body... or even dying. Oh, mother! I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!" Yua apologized to her future parent that she used to defy.

When Ch'en in the future prohibited Yua from ever using her arts again, it caused a lot of friction between mother and daughter...

The white-haired lung began to dislike the way her mother acted by putting so much control on her life, even though she still loved her.

But now that Yua knew the truth about why her mother acted that way, Yua felt horrible about the way she tried to defy the blue-haired lung.

Ch'en was only worried about her safety...

The room was silent for some time after the doctor told Yua the truth about her originium arts.

The doctor was relieved that he managed to explain to Yua about her arts, but he could see this was a lot for her to take in. Yua simply had her head in her hands and was looking down at the floor.

After some time, Yua raised her head and looked at her father. She then began to speak. "Okay, father," she said. "I promise I will try not to use them ever again. But I have one question: If I am ever in a life-threatening situation and I have no other way to save myself other than using my originium arts to survive, what do I do? Either my originium arts could kill me or the enemy kills me; how can I get out of a situation like that alive?" Yua questioned her father.

This was something that the doctor didn't expect to be asked, but it was a very valuable point Yua brought up.

He needed a solution that meant Yua wouldn't use her originium arts. "Yua is right," the doctor realised. "She might end up in a position where using her arts could be the only way to survive. I don't want her in that situation, but in a battle, there is always a chance that could happen. I can't just remove her from the field; she has become one of our most valuable operators. I need a plan." The doctor thought to himself.

After thinking for a moment, the doctor came up with an idea: "Yua needs a bodyguard, someone who I can trust and someone I know who can keep her safe."

The doctor had several operators who acted as his own bodyguards; the man thought that it was a bit excessive...

The doctor didn't mind assigning one of them to protect his daughter. The only problem was choosing which one.

The man took some more time to think about it, eventually settling on one person. "She will be perfect," he thought as he settled on a candidate. "She's loyal, dedicated, and I know she will protect Yua at all costs." The doctor knew that this person would be the perfect individual to keep his daughter safe...

What she had discovered today had been a lot for the lung to take in; she had found out why her mother didn't want her to use her originium arts.

Yua was in her room, pondering everything that she had been told by her father. The lung was angry at herself for how she had acted back in her timeline with her mother, Ch'en was only trying to protect her.

The white-haired lung wished she could go back and apologize to Ch'en, but that was impossible now. The lung wasn't even sure that her mother in the future was still alive.

Yua promised that she would do whatever she could to make it up with the current Ch'en, even though she wasn't the same one who gave birth to her - it was the least she could do for her.

Looking at the clock on her wall, Yua's eyes widened; she realized what was happening or about to happen. "Oh no! Mother and Father are going on a date! I have to see this! Nobody is going to ruin this!" Yua rushed out of her room and went to the entrance of the landship to get into a vehicle.

Once she arrived in Lungman, Yua found a suitable place to park before getting out of the vehicle.

Yua then began to search the city for her parents. The lung searched high and low but couldn't find sight of either her father or her mother.

As Yua was searching down a street, the lung eventually caught sight of both of them through a window. "There they are! At that restaurant!" she exclaimed to herself, spotting her parents. "I need to keep an eye on them! I can't let them out of my sight!" The doctor didn't have his signature hood up, and the lung could see a smile on his face; the same could be said for Ch'en.

This put a smile on Yua's own face; she was ecstatic that her parents looked happy...

Yua stayed out of their sight while keeping an eye on the pair of them; after some time, the pair then left the restaurant and Yua kept her distance while following the pair of them, making sure she wasn't seen by them.

As she was following them, the sound of laughter came from her mother, Yua could tell Ch'en was happy being with the doctor.

The white-haired lung kept following them for ages as they walked about the city as Ch'en showed him landmarks dotted around Lungman; the two then eventually stopped at what seemed like a pier.

Yua found a suitable place to hide while keeping her parents in sight and listened to their conversation.

"Thank you for tonight, Ch'en. It was a pleasure being with you today." The doctor cheerfully said to the blue-haired lung next to him.

Ch'en replied, "It was no problem, doctor. To be honest, I've never done this before; I've never felt this way with anyone. I wanted to make sure tonight was special. I've only ever focused on my work. Trying to find someone who I connect with has been difficult. Everyone I've tried to date either found me too intimidating or were scared of me because I am infected with oripathy. I really hope tonight lived up to your expectations."

The doctor didn't find Ch'en intimidating in the least; if anything, he found her to be dedicated and passionate about what she did.

The man wasn't scared that she was infected—Ch'en deserved to find happiness just as much as anyone else, whether they were infected or not.

"Ch'en, you aren't intimidating; I find it admirable that you put so much effort into what you do to help others. And if people are scared that you are infected, then they are nothing but fools; any man should be lucky to get to date someone as beautiful as yourself." The doctor told Ch'en. Yua had a huge grin when the doctor said this, and Ch'en was left a blushing mess; the blue-haired lung couldn't respond coherently.

"Doctor...I...how...I...just...thank you." Is all Ch'en could say when the doctor said that. The two then began to stare out at the water, enjoying the comfortable silence between them.

Yua continued to watch her parents, and after some time, she noticed her mother beginning to fidget a bit.

Ch'en wanted to do something, but she was struggling to find the courage. The lung eventually found the courage she needed and then turned to the doctor and spoke, "Doctor, please look at me for a second."

The doctor did as Ch'en asked and noticed a huge blush on her face. Ch'en then kissed the doctor on the cheek, which shocked the man.

Yua saw this and nearly jumped out of her hiding spot in joy. "I can't believe you did that, mother! I'm so happy! This is amazing!" Words could not describe how happy Yua was seeing what her mother did.

Yua knew that she didn't have to stay here anymore; she had seen what she wanted to see - the lung crept away from her parents to leave the two of them in peace.

The white-haired lung decided to head back to the vehicle she came in. Tonight had been brilliant for her. Once Yua found her vehicle, she started it up and left the city, whistling a tune all the way back to the ship as she was driving. She couldn't contain her happiness...

Once she was back at the landship, Yua decided to head back to her room. On her way there, other operators could only look at the lung as she walked past them with a spring in her step and a huge smile; they couldn't understand why the lung was so happy, but she didn't care at this moment - she was just so happy with what happened with her parents.

She knew their relationship would only get stronger from here on out. The Yua of this timeline would surely be born in the future, and Yua wanted to make sure she grew up in a peaceful future without the threat of the seaborn.

Once Yua was at the door to her room, she decided it was best to get to sleep; hopefully, tomorrow would be a better day for her, and W would hopefully have some information on her aunts whereabouts.

When the door was shut behind her, all Yua wanted to do was to get to sleep. However, a very familiar voice stopped the lung in her tracks, "It is good to see you, young madam. I have been assigned as your bodyguard as of today by your father." Yua knew that voice all too well.

This person was her loyal bodyguard in her timeline; this individual Yua also saw as a very close friend and confidant. Someone who Yua could trust in a time of need and never let her down.

Turning around, Yua could see this person on a knee, dressed in black. It was all so familiar to the lung. It nearly drove Yua to tears when she saw who it was.

"Shirayuki… Is that you?!"
