I always thought that the tension in Jane's attic after he and Lisbon watched Lorelei's video listing Jane's RJ suspects was thick enough to coax at least a hug. But what if Jane's unsteadiness and Lisbon's concern for him nudged them into something more that night? (okay technically was still daylight in the ep but here it's nighttime ;) ) One-shot at first, now multichapter.

They knew this day would come. The day that they would need to tell their son about what really happened to his sister, and who the monster Red John was. They just weren't expecting it to come so soon. The team's bonds are tested and strengthened as they grapple with the moral complexities of their work, all the while being drawn closer to the shadowy figure that has haunted them for so long. It was supposed to be a normal day with Lisbon at the FBI and Jane focussing on the remodel. When she goes into early labour both of them are terrified about what the consequences may be and their child's health. A mostly-fluffy multi-chapter following their attempts to keep their relationship a secret as they get acquainted w each other & w their new team, along w the eventual signs that it's time to reveal their status and live with the inevitable 'water cooler' chats about their couplehood. My alternate ending to Nothing Gold Can Stay (S07E10).

"Go away!" Abbott had seen something. Abbott was - was possibly crazy, or a fool, or just wrong, but maybe, just maybe, he'd seen something Jane hadn't. And it was all falling apart, it was all burning down, and he may as well burn with. It gave him the strength to pick the lock. Jane/Lisbon centered. Dabbling in the Mentalist fandom. Picks up at the start of 7 season and will progress through that season and beyond. Rating for future cases and some smut/fluff. I am obsessed with their relationship, so fleshing out what I think would happen between episodes while trying to remain true to the original story.

It had been a long two years. The fallout from the Blake association, the dissolving of the CBI, Jane murdering Red John and fleeing the country, losing her job and her team. A lot happened while Jane was gone, and he won't be able to pick up where he left off. Work in progress; barring unexpected death, I will finish it.

Few months post the series end , When accidents happen and push Jane's and Lisbon's fears to the surface ,would they let it jeopardize their marriage ? Disclaimer : don't own anything .

As much as Jane enjoyed teasing Lisbon in front of her ex-fiance Greg, he didn't like the wistful looks he'd been seeing on her face during the course of the investigation. He was concerned his partner was second-guessing her life choices. It was breaking his heart. A short one-shot occurring at the end and after the episode. What if Jisbon had happened then? Short and fluffy.

There were no more 'somedays.' Jane was gone & most likely dead. Lisbon's head hurt. She needed to get out of the building & think, get perspective, maybe run away with the carnival, maybe fly to Chicago, maybe look for Jane on the sly. Set in S6, post-RJ. Angry & adrift, Lisbon develops a plan of her own to save Jane, wherever he is. Eventual Jisbon. T/M-sexy stuff/some language.

Jane had hated the man even before he found out he kicked dogs, so all in all, he was glad Carl Jameson was dead.
