"Ugh...what happened? Where am I? And why does my jaw hurt so much?" A black-haired was asking himself these questions as he was coming too. The man looked around but had no idea where he was. The lung male tried to move but quickly realised that he was tied to a chair and couldn't move, "Why am I tied up? Who has done this?" The man tried to remember what had happened and why he was in this situation, all of a sudden memories came flooding back of what happened in the slums, "That girl! I bet she is behind this! She killed my men! I swear, she fights like a monster! I need to get out of here! I know she's working with Talulah! I need to find Nine and warn her!" the black-haired lung thought as he struggled to free himself, he had to warn his leader of the danger.
The man kept struggling and struggling until the chair he was in finally broke, and the ropes loosened, "I'm free! It's time to leave! I better get out of here before Talulah, or that girl shows up!" The man thought once he was free. He could see the door, and the lung male ran towards it with the intention of escaping. He was about to open the door until it hit him in the face, and he was knocked to the floor.
The black-haired lung could hear that others had entered the room he was in as well while he was down on the ground. Looking up, the black-haired lungs face went incredibly pale when he saw who had entered, "Oh no! It's Talulah! And that girl! They are going to kill me! I'm screwed!" The lung man truly felt fear when he saw the two of them gazing at him.
Yua's was simply looking at him with pity in her eyes, Talulah however had a look of pure malice on her face, "This is the cretin that tried to have Yua killed?! I would love nothing more than to kill him right now! But I need answers. I need to find out where Nine and the rest of Reunion are hiding." The draco wanted to kill the black-haired lung in front of her but showed restraint for the moment. She needed to get the answers out of him about Nines whereabouts. Talulah started to walk towards the man, which caused him to back away. He kept doing this until he made contact with a wall behind him and realised he had nowhere else to go.
The lung tried to plead with the draco so she would spare his life, "Wait please! Don't kill me! I beg you!" Talulah listened to his plea and decided to reply, "And why should I not kill you here and now? Especially after you and your men tried to kill my niece." The black-haired lung looked towards Yua when Talulah told him she was her niece, "Oh gods! This girl is Talulah's niece! What have I done?! She's definitely going to kill me now!" The male lung began to shake and shiver. He believed Talulah was going to make him suffer for trying to kill her niece.
The male lung knew what the draco was capable of and was absolutely petrified of what she would put him through. Talulah could see the shaking and shivering and had a feeling he would tell her where Nine was, "Listen here, worm! I know you are working for Nine. And I imagine you know where she is. If you value your life, you had best tell me where she is hiding. If you don't, I'm sure we can find other members of Reunion lurking somewhere in Yan. I can very easily dispose of you if I want." Talulah threatened the man with incredible malice and venom in her voice.
The lungs eyes started to water. He knew Talulah would carry out her threat if he didn't give her what she wanted. "Okay I'll tell you! Just don't hurt me! Nine is hiding out near Mount T'ien. That's where our base is." The lung replied in fear. This information pleased Talulah, but she wanted to know more, "And how many people does she have with her? Talk! Now!" she wanted to know Reunions numbers. "After we fled Ursus, Nine only had about one hundred people left. So once we arrived in Yan, she ordered us to travel to various slums across different cities to recruit more people. I've recruited about thirty or so, I don't know how many others have been recruited across Yan." The man told Talulah how many he recruited but didn't know how many others had joined Reunions ranks.
Talulah wasn't convinced he didn't know how many others had joined Reunion, "You expect me to believe that? That you didn't tell each other how many people had joined your ranks? Your lying aren't you?" the black-haired lung vehemently denied he didn't know, "I swear I'm telling you the truth! If I knew, I would tell you! You have got to believe me! Please!" Talulah turned back to her niece.
The draco wanted to know if Yua believed him, "What do you think, Yua? Do you think he is telling me the truth?" Upon being asked, Yua looked at the black-haired lung. She could see the fear written all over his face. Yua took a minute to think before telling her aunt what her answer was, "Aunt Talulah, I think he's telling you the truth. Look at him. He's obviously frightened. He has no reason to lie. I genuinely believe he doesn't know the answer regarding how many others have joined Reunion bar, the thirty or so he mentioned." Yua told her aunt what she thought with great confidence in her voice. She truly believed the man.
Seeing that her niece believed her enemy, Talulah decided that the black-haired lung in front of her was no longer needed. Flames began to form in her hand. She was going to kill him right now. The lung in front of her had tried to kill her niece, In Talulah's eyes that was unforgivable. The man could see the flames forming and knew what was about to happen. He tried begging for his life, but Talulah was deaf to his plea. The size of the flames only increased.
The draco was about to burn him to ash, but before she could kill him, a hand gripped her wrist. Looking at who grabbed her, Talulah could see Yua was the one holding her wrist, "What on Terra are you doing, Yua?! Let go of me at once!" Talulah told her niece to let go. The white-haired lung, however, did not let go. If anything, she held on more tightly, "Stop this aunt, Talulah! There's no need to kill him! He's not a threat!" Yua told her aunt with incredible conviction in her voice. She believed what the draco was about to do was wrong.
This only angered Talulah, "He tried to kill you, Yua! He can't get away with that! Let go of me, Yua! He deserves to die for what he tried to do!" The draco told her niece. Yua, however, stood firm. She wasn't going to let go, "I know, Aunt Talulah! I know he tried to kill me! But, he's not a threat anymore! You don't need to do this! You said you didn't want any more death to be carried out at the hands of Reunion! If you kill this man, then you are no better than them! I won't help someone who will kill those who can't protect themselves! You are on your own if you kill this man, Aunt Talulah! I'm not helping a murderer!" The white-haired lung told the draco that she wouldn't help her take down Reunion if she decided to murder the black-haired lung who was praying for his life.
Talulah looked like she had been slapped in the face when Yua called her a Murderer. Talulah wanted to refute those claims that she was doing this to protect her niece. However, after some thinking, the draco realised her niece was right, "Yua's right, if I do this, then I'm no better than Reunion. I said that I wanted to stop all the death and destruction, to prevent any more death than is necessary. Killing this man isn't necessary. He's unarmed, and he can't defend himself. I've already killed too many people. I'm sorry, Yua. I promise to be better." Talulah began to have a look of remorse on her face. The flame in her hand died out. Once Yua was certain that her aunt wasn't going to kill the black-haired lung, she let go of her aunts wrist.
The draco then looked back at the black-haired lung, "Get out of here! I never want to see you again! Don't even think about warning Nine we are coming for her! I will find you and destroy you if I find out you have!" Talulah shouted at the lung. She then simply looked at the floor. The man looked at the draco, then at the lung. He wasn't sure that this wasn't some sort of trap.
Yua then told him, "Go, do as my aunt says." Seeing that neither of the people in front of him were going to kill him the man go up from the floor then sprinted out of the building to get as far away from here as fast as he could. The man decided that it wouldn't be wise trying to find Nine and the rest of Reunion to warn them of the incoming threat. He was still alive, and he knew Talulah would carry out her threat if he did warn them...
Yua left Talulah alone in the room and walked outside. Once outside, she was met with Mostima and Fiammetta. "Well, I saw that guy running away from here, I suspected Talulah was going to kill him. So, did you find out where Reunion is?" Mostima asked the lung if she found out Reunions whereabouts. "Yes, Mostima. Reunion is near Mount T'ien. That's where their base is." Yua told Mostima what the black-haired lung told herself and Talulah. The blue-haired sankta nodded at the lungs' answer. She was glad that they found Reunions location. They could put an end to the organisation once and for all.
Fiammetta then spoke up, "How many people does this Nine have under her command? We can't just charge into their base if they have too many people. It would be suicide." The liberi said. Yua explained to Fiammetta what the black lung told her. Once she heard this, the liberi replied that they would need a plan to bring Reunion down. Mostima then told Yua and Fiammetta that they could think of a plan on the way to Mount T'ien, it would take them several days to get there so they could use that time to think on what was the best way to attack.
Talulah had walked outside and joined the trio. All three looked at her and could see a look of sorrow on her face. The draco looked towards her niece and decided to tell her what was on her mind, "Yua, I'm sorry for the way I acted. You are right. If I did kill that man, I would be no better than Reunion. My dear niece, can you forgive me?" Talulah asked with remorse present in her voice. "Yes aunt Talulah, I can. I understand that you were angry, but killing him in cold blood would have been wrong. He wasn't a threat. If you killed him, my conscience wouldn't have allowed me to help you. I hope you understand." Yua told the draco.
Talulah replied that she would have understood if her niece decided not to help her anymore, Talulah then promised Yua that she would only kill when absolutely necessary. She wouldn't spill any more blood if she didn't need to. This put a smile on the face of the white-haired lung. She was glad her aunt was willing to prevent more death if possible.
Fiammetta, however, spoke up and said she would believe it when she saw it. The liberi still didn't completely trust Talulah. "I understand your feelings Fiammetta, like Yua, I give you my word. If I can avoid violence, then I promise to do my absolute best to take that route." Talulah responded. The red-haired liberi then said that Talulah must do her absolute best to keep that promise or that there would be consequences. "Okay, everyone. Now that it is settled let's head to Mount T'ien, the longer we wait, the more time Nine has to build her numbers. We will think of a plan on the way. Let's get out of here." Mostima said to everyone else.
The four of them then got inside the vehicle and got on the road towards Mount T'ien. Yua knew that this was going to be a hard fought battle, but this was for the future. The lung wanted the future of this timeline to be peaceful. After this, her next goal would be to head back to Rhodes Island and stop the future Skadi.
The future aegir had to answer for the genocide she had committed in the future. The white-haired lung didn't know if she could stop a god, but she knew she had to try. The future aegir had to have a weakness, Yua believed she just needed to find it. The lung thought that once she found it, she could use it to her advantage. "I swear, for all of those who had died, you will be stopped, Skadi. You will answer for all the evil you have done, once Reunion has been taken down...I am coming for you...I will stop you!" Yua promised herself and all those who had perished, she would stop the aegir or die trying...
