Don't Own Fairy Tail or anything else Only The Oc
'thought'
"Speech"
"Powerful Creatures Speaking, like a dragon or a god"
"Text via book or newspaper... when those are around..."
I gaze out over a war-torn city.
Fires burn, there's screams for help, smoke curls upwards, touching the sky.
A shuddering gasp leaves my lips as I float to the ground, a weight being lifted from my shoulders.
I quickly requip my clothing into something much more comfortable. Something that isn't battle damaged. A hoodie and sweatpants.
I am tackled from behind by a flying red-haired girl.
"YOU DID IT!" Rias beams, wrapping me in a tight hug, my breath comes out in pants as I relax in her grasp.
"I... did..." I whisper.
"Go ahead and pick!" Rias beams.
"..."
"Not yet." I shake my head, slowly clawing my way out of her grasp. "There's a few things I need to do..."
I walk over to the large head.
It stands at around two 'me's tall. About five or six wide if you include the horns.
I place my hand on it... then requip it away.
I turn to Rias summoning a lacrima. "Can you teleport home and give this to master Makarov. Just call me then hand it to him when you find him."
"Uh... are... you staying here?" Rias mutters.
"Look around, Rias... I need to help these people... the people trapped under rubble. The injured. I need to make this right."
"You're... right." The girl whispers.
"Valerie, Koneko!" She calls out. "Help him out. Heal the injured and help save anyone who is trapped!"
The two girls nod as I begin slapping electricity producing ofuda on my chest to recharge my magical power.
Numerous cloth sack-like humanoids transport large hunks of rubble. Threads slip into cracks and rapidly fill out into safety nets that quickly rise, revealing broken and battered men, women, and children which are dragged out by large wool stretchers with legs.
The magic orb in my hand glows, causing Rias' face to appear.
It's been about an hour since she headed back towards home. She flew a short distance then teleported the rest of the way.
She looks a little out of breath. "Here."
She hands the orb to an old man.
"Ah? Andrew what-" He seems to peer around the orb, looking at my surroundings, a frown on his lips. "Where are you?"
"The land of Isvan."
"That is... quite far away... what's wrong? What happened to this place?"
"Deliora." I whisper.
"Deliora?! Is it there now?! You need to escape!"
"Is there an S class mission to kill deliora?" I ask slowly.
"WHAT?! NO! I WON'T LET YOU THROW YOUR LIFE AWAY FOR MONEY!"
"I killed it." I announce.
"..."
"What?"
"I kill the demon of destruction... the walking apocalypse... the mountain of despair... I KILLED Deliora."
With a flash a large severed head appears behind me.
A moment later I take it away again.
"I'm asking you to accept the job for me. Take the reward... then give it to the people affected by Deliora. I'm satisfied with what I have. I don't need the money."
His expression softens a sigh leaving his lips. "My boy..."
"Very well." He nods. "But we'll be talking about your recklessness when you return."
"Sure. Bye master. I need to return to helping out."
"Goodbye Andrew. Take care of yourself." The man replies.
By hour three I began to run a little low on magical power again. Even after substituting it with my Demonic Power.
Virgo was quite helpful for a while as well, but she was getting a little costly on my reserves, so I had to send her back about thirty minutes ago.
I sit on a large stone, hands raised above my head, energy has begun to gather around me, gently flowing into Valerie who is kneeled nearby in a state just as bad as me despite not having to face a giant murder demon.
I flinch suddenly, a really dense presence making their way into my detection range.
Koneko sits another person down in front of Valerie who raises her hands, three chalices appearing around her as the twisted limbs and pale body begin to fix themselves, the shallow breathing rapidly deepening, the skin regaining color.
The person doesn't wake up... but they're not dying anymore.
"How much of the city is left?" I ask.
"Mn. One fourth." Koneko grunts.
She's using senjutsu to sense for people under the rocks. Grabbing the ones worst off first and bringing them over.
It's taken some time, but we've saved hundreds of lives so far.
Koneko stiffens, tail poofing slightly as her ears flatten.
In the distance I spy two figures.
The first? A small white haired boy.
The latter? A tall black haired woman with black eyes.
With a flick of my fingers, all of the collected energy flows into Valerie.
I rise to my feet, brushing myself off.
"Who are you?" I call out.
"Ur Milkovich." She replies. "What happened here? Who killed Deliora?"
"That'd be me." I note. "Do you think you could lend us a hand? We've managed to clear out most of the town, but there's still people left and we've pretty much exhausted all of our magic. Koneko. How many more people are stuck under rubble?"
"Thirty one-"
"..." she is quiet for a moment.
"Thirty." She whispers a saddened expression on her face.
"Where are they?!" The woman demands, flinging off her jacket and clasping her hands together. "Ice make: Guardians!"
With a flash numerous ice soldiers appear.
Koneko leads her into the distance as I let out a long sigh, raising my hands above my head. "I call upon the trees and the water, the sun, the moon and the stars, the plants and the animals, all living things please lend me your energy!"
Motes of light begin to rise from the earth, combining visibly above my body.
Rias helped me work out the chant for that after she realized I was able to do that.
After making fun of me for about five minutes, fangirling for a further ten, she then promptly brought out the dragon ball manga and told me to 'do it right'.
The speed of the gathering ethernano had about an eighty percent increase, so I mean... I'm not that irritated with her.
With the help of a fucking Wizard Saint, the remaining people are pulled out quite easily, all of whom are healed by Valerie.
I sit there on a large hunk of rubble, cradling my head in my hands.
This was exhausting.
"So... you really managed it? To slay Deliora?" Ur questions as she returns a moment later.
"I did." I nod once. "But I cheated, frankly... but with a beast like that? Cheating... is probably the only way to defeat it. At least at my current strength."
I look over to her slowly. "So... Ice make, huh? I practice a maker magic as well... and Normally, I'd challenge you to a fight just to see how I measure up, but... I'm far to exhausted for that."
"Maker magic?" The woman echos, a small quirk of a mile on her lips. "That's interesting. What sort?"
"Cloth." I yawn.
"Ah. You'd be able to make quite a living with that I assume. Not much demand for ice sculptures out here, frankly.
Her gaze seems to sweep over the three of us. "So... what made you three attack Deliora?"
"Mn..." Koneko grunts.
"Oh... we didn't really attack it." Valerie waves off. "He killed it by himself!"
"Is there a reason why I shouldn't put down a raging beast that does things I don't like? Hurting these innocent people who have done nothing at all to deserve it?" I ask, gesturing around.
"We had a fourth... and she would be my plan to kill it if I couldn't... but she went back to the guild to get our master to complete our job."
"You did it for a job?" The woman echoes.
"Oh. Of course not." I scoff. "I just knew that there was probably a job to kill it, so she went back to get the job accepted and then have our master give the reward money to the people here to try and help rebuild."
"I'm satisfied with what I have currently... I have a roof over my head, enough money for food, and a nest egg large enough that I could reasonably buy whatever I needed... I just don't want money to be wasted. I did this. I killed Deliora. So, the money the magic council offered shouldn't return right back to their pockets because the 'issue solved itself'.
I roll my shoulders, rising to my feet. "Anyways, we should really be getting back to our guild. The trips going to be long and tiring. It was nice to meet you, though."
I turn and begin walking away, offering a single wave as Valerie and Koneko rise to their feet. "If you're ever in Fiore and want some enchanted clothes, drop by the fairy tail guild... or I might come track you down in the future for that fight... I really want to test myself."
"Sure, kid. I live in the mountains north of here. You should be able to find it." The woman states.
I pause mid-step.
"Oh wait! My spear!" I turn and approach the giant headless body.
"Are you... okay?" A dull sounding voice echoes out from behind me.
I sit on the head of a large spider made of cloth. It skitters across the icy ground on four large legs.
Behind me, on its large bulbus back is Koneko and Valerie.
"I'm fine." I frown, closing my eyes for a moment.
"You don't sound... fine." Koneko observes. "And... I can sense emotions... with Senjutsu."
A long breath leaves my lips. "If I had just left one day earlier... one day. I would have been able to stop Deliora from reaching that town. If- I just-"
"I feel like their deaths are my fault." I admit after a long moment of heavy silence.
Koneko is quiet as she takes in that information.
She pats my head. "It's... okay... you said that... Deliora wasn't supposed to be killed until that woman... Ur... sacrificed her life... think less on the people of today... and more... of the people that you saved over the next eighteen months..."
"You are a good person... Andrew." She notes.
"I could possibly revive them." Valerie mutters quietly. "It might take some time but if none of them were very strong-"
"NO NO NO! No the FUCK you can't! Are you crazy?!" I ask, whirling around to face the Dhampir who looks a bit startled by my sudden change in demeanor.
"Look at me. Heed these words. Don't EVER revive someone... and I mean this completely and totally. In this world... there is a god who genuinely DOES NOT GIVE A SHIT. If you revive someone, they'll get offended and give you one of the most vile curses I have ever seen."
"W-What?" The girl whispers.
"The curse of contradiction." I announce as I turn and return to facing forwards. "If you love and value life... you unwillingly kill everything around you. If you don't? You gain incredible power... and to top it all off, you are completely immortal. Utterly immortal. I doubt even Rias could kill you with her power of destruction."
"That demon I killed... its creator has the curse because he wanted to save his brother after he got killed by a dragon's attack on his village. He was cursed, and eventually, he made the etherious... all to kill him." I wave my hand flippantly. "That's why all the Etherious are assholes. They were CREATED for the sole purpose of killing. Primarily their creator but they see themselves as better than humans so they do whatever the hell they want to 'lesser beings'."
"That's why I told Rias to never resurrect someone with evil pieces. Giving it to them while they are alive is fine... but never revive the recently deceased." I look back. "If you ever try it... be ready to throw down with the god of life and death."
"I-I see..." Valerie whispers.
"Fucking hypocrite god. 'oh sure, let me give this guy immortality so he can create a race of demons that end up killing millions. This truly is perfectly balanced for that one time he tried to revive one single person'. Like JUST KILL HIM AT THAT POINT! It makes literally NO sense on why you'd destabilize life and death like that! If someone tries to revive someone just END THEM there's no fucking point to all of this round-about curse 'make them wish they were dead' nonsense!"
I let out a long loathing sigh, rubbing my temple. "I should see about learning some god slayer magic."
The door creaks open as the three of us step into our home.
"You're home!" Rias beams as she rockets to her feet.
She tightly hugs me as I let out a quiet yawn.
"Hey Rias..." I weakly smile as I awkwardly return the hug.
I slip out of her grasp a moment later and faceplant onto a large roll of silk, a groan leaving my lips. "That was so exhausting."
I roll over, staring up at the ceiling.
*Ping*
"..."
"I got another..." I whisper.
"Huh?" Rias mutters.
"I just got another mission." I repeat, a long sigh leaving my lips.
"REALLY?!" The girl beams.
"I mean... it makes sense... one every six months..." I sigh before shaking my head. "I'll look at it after I'm done with this one."
The screen opens as I cup my chin.

It won't be painless nor instant, but yes.
"..."
"So what you're saying is, for a little suffering... I could get both my second origin unlocked, my third origin stabilized, and an additional reward?"
Hours. Hours of pain.
"Hours of pain... or a blank check for any potential lost magic hmmmmmm. Tough call." I roll my eyes.
"Koneko... when I start screaming knock me out, please."
"Mn?" The girl blinks twice then simply nods once, a glimmer of respect in her eyes.
"Get me a lost magic book on divination and unlock my second and third origin through the bonus objectiiiiiaaaaaaaaaa- fuuuuuhhhhhh shhhiiiiiiiit-"
I writhe in pain as red runes coil down my arm and across my body.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAA-"
Koneko's fist rockets towards my face.
My body aches. I taste blood in my mouth.
I shudder, eyes cracking open.
I stare blankly at the ceiling to see Koneko looking down at me.
She... is giving me a lap pillow?
I sit up, looking around blearily.
"Are you okay?" The dandere girl questions.
"I... am." I whisper, looking to my shaking hands. "My body stings... like phantom pains, but..."
I can feel a rolling energy deep under the surface.
It's like an ocean. A nigh limitless source of magical power that permeates throughout my body.
"Wow." I whisper.
I shake my head, looking to Koneko. "Thank you for knocking me out. That hurt really badly, but my magic... it grew tenfold."
"Mn... it bruised... but I healed it... with senjutsu." She replies slowly, reaching out and gently touching my cheek.
"Thank you." I quietly thank. "Would you like me to make you anything? A hoodie? Stockings? Maybe gloves or something?"
She tilts her head slightly. "Hm... my ears got cold last winter... can I have a beanie?"
"Sure." I shrug. "I don't see why that'd be hard to make."
I create a magic circle and blink as a stream of cloth shoots out and begins to loosely drape across the wall like I shot it with a can of silly string.
I cut it off abruptly, leaving the thick woolen thread. "Ah. My control has decreased. That's problematic."
I take a seat on the cube of cloth, looking to Koneko as she rises to her feet and sits next to me.
"So. Where's Rias and Valerie?"
"After you stopped screaming, they decided to go out and get a bed from the same place that rich guy got his... so you could be comfortable..."
"Oh... that's probably going to be quite expensive" I note. "Oh well. She's probably thought enough on that, so she isn't wasting money."
"This came... for you." She lifts a box for me.
"Ah! My divination book. Thank you, Koneko." I smile.
"Mn." She grunts as I open the box.
A literal brick of a book falls into my hand.
I blink twice. It's about ten inches tall and eight inches wide. If I had to make a rough estimate it's about... fuck it's more than double the length of my clothmaker magic book... and that in and of itself would probably kill someone if I threw it at them.
Ten inches.
It's about ten inches thick.
"This is going to take a while to read..." I whisper.
I requip it away, making sure to keep it far away from the head of deliora.
It's quite easy. My requip space has grown considerably.
"Noooow what does this dude want me to do?"

I stare blankly at the screen, then slowly reach out to an asterisk next to the word 'list'.
Oh wow...
That's a lot...
Whittling, painting, dance, gardening.
Sewing is greyed out...
Ah.
New hobbies.
I can't cheat and pick something I'm quite good at so most thread-based hobbies are out like Knitting and Crochet.
Brewing, wine making, blacksmithing, pottery.
Writing?
Huh.
Writing sounds quite good.
Whatever I have some time.
"I should probably head on over to Fairy Tail soon to speak with Master Makarov." I decide after a long moment.
but first?
What the hell does my third origin do for me?
I look to my emails.
'oh! I actually got one from Mr. Rob.'
Congratulations on having your second origin unlocked! You've seen what it is from the series so I won't delve too deep into it. Just realize you have about ten times as much magic as your originally did and said magical power is more potent.
But you're pobably more curious as to what a 'stablized third origin' is.
Think of it like a temporary boost you can activate. Like Kaioken. Using it too much strains your body, but in those short moments, you'll be near unbeatable.
The time you can remain in this state can increase with time and training, but at the moment I hope you can solve whatever it is you're facing in just five seconds!
"Huh..."
I push the door open, stepping inside the guild building. I can see Makarov sat on the bar.
I walk over taking a seat at the bar.
"You're back..." He notes.
"I am." I nod once, head held high as I stare challengingly into his eyes.
"What you did was very reckless, you know that right?" He asks slowly.
"I am aware." I nod once. "But. I had spent the last six months preparing solely for that fight. Each and every waking moment preparing a tool or testing a skill that I could use on it."
"So... that's what you were preparing for." The old man sighs, rubbing his forehead. "Look. Andrew... I don't want you to jump into something unprepared to face the consequences. Being a wizard is a dangerous job."
"I'm not going to punish you for saving lives... but you did give me a bit of a heart attack for a couple of moments there so..."
"HEY EVERYONE!" He calls out, catching the attention of the guild. "This brat just managed to complete an SS Class mission!"
"I'll get you for this, old man." I quietly threaten moments before there's cheers and uproars.
The members of the guild raise mugs and glasses to the air.
"What the hell?!" A blue haired man balks. "An SS Class?!"
A man with I pipe lets out a little laugh. "Well, the monster mages just keep getting younger and younger, huh?"
"What the heck did a runt like you even do?" The blue haired man sighs. "Master are you sure it was an SS class job?"
My eyebrow twitches slightly. "Oh. I just killed this."
With a flash, a massive head appears in the middle of the room.
"HOW THE HELL DID YOU KILL THAT?!" Macao shouts.
"Magic." I reply impishly with a small smirk before requiping the beast away.
"Speaking of that, Makarov, what do you want me to do with the head?"
"What am I supposed to do with it?" The old man huffs.
"I don't know. That's why I'm asking you." I shoot back with a half lidded stare.
"You can keep it." The old man then proceeds to down his drink.
"I'll get rid of it." I sigh, rubbing my temple. "I just took it in case I needed proof."
"I am curious." The old man begins. "How did you even beat that thing?"
"I used magic to disable it for an hour, then said hour was spent putting a bunch of anti-demon explosive seals around its neck and across its chest. I use hit and run tactics to hit it hard, fast, spray paralytic poison into the wounds, and then quickly get out of the way before it could hit me with an attack at literally split the horizon."
The man raises an eyebrow.
"I didn't just jump up and decide to go fight a hundred foot tall demon for funsies." I scoff. "I had to prepare for months, building hundreds of disposable magic items, I enchanted clothes, had a special magic spear made, and learned numerous forms of magic to enhance my speed and specifically designed for sealing evil spirits and demons."
How... did this happen?!
I stare blankly up at the ceiling of the bedroom as I lay atop a frankly HEAVENLY bed.
But.
Despite the sheer comfort I am in...
I find myself unable to sleep for one sole reason...
Well...
Four reasons.
Rias is currently laying next to me, my arm trapped in between her bust, she's as naked as the day she was born, using me as a body pillow as she cuddles me under the blankets.
She had somehow convinced me to take my shirt off so there's nothing between us.
Another thing... Koneko is on my other side... in just panties and I can feel her two reasons pressing against my shoulder.
Why?
I don't fucking know!
I thought she was supposed to be a tsundere! That she punches the shit out of whoever she likes!
Admittedly I didn't watch much Dxd. That could have been because Issei was- and I can't stress this enough- THE WORST.
I-I don't think I did anything to gain her affections?
Could I be overthinking this and she just wanted to sleep in this comfortable bed?
I can feel her grip around my arm tighten slightly. 'w-well, if she just wanted to sleep in the comfortable bed, she wouldn't cuddle me like Rias is.'
I try to put these thoughts out of my head and close my eyes.
It's safe to say... I didn't really sleep well that night.
Awww Poor Andy forming a harem. woe is him.
