"NARUTO."
Two surges of unimaginable power clashed together in the sky, one of black fire clocked in lightning while other a sphere of pure energy.
The two attacks clashed together, neither losing to other in pure power. But an unexpected purple light began to appear between the two energies.
It grew at an unbelievable rate, to the point where it engulfed the two beings that the attacks came from.
They had no time to think before they were sucked into the purple sphere beyond them.
The purple sphere stayed in place after it grabbed hold of them, standing there like a blank point in nature.
Sasuke woke with a bloody cough; he stared at the empty void around with one source of light being perpendicular to him.
He tried to move his body just slightly before he hissed in pain as his body soon registered the pain unleashed to him by his battle with Naruto.
Never in his life has Sasuke ever felt this exhausted and weak before, not even against his brother or Madara had he felt this much pain from their battle.
"You okay there Sasuke?" A voice echoed across the voice; Sasuke turned his head over to see his best friend lying next to him.
Naruto looked completely battered and wretched by their battle, blood found every in his body and purple bruise to match.
"Don't look at me like that, you're in the same position as I am." Naruto commented as he looked at the damaged body of his friend.
Sasuke turned his head away from the blond oaf and gazed upon the empty void. "Where are we?"
"I don't know." Naruto stated while looking at the white portal perpendicular to them.
"But I do know one thing, that portal has gotten way smaller than before…" Naruto had woken up earlier than Sasuke and had seen the gradual decline of the portal size.
"Why haven't you taken us out of here then?" Sasuke questioned with a raised eyebrow, why hadn't this big idiot carried them out if that was their only way home.
"You don't need me to answer that for you…" Naruto said as he motioned Sasuke to look around them with his eyes.
Sasuke narrowed as he tried to process Naruto words and focus on the void around them, that is when he came to the terrifying conclusion.
The void was sapping away their energy and life force.
This would not have mattered to them in their prime since the absorption rate was going at an extremely slow rate, too bad for them cause they were both extremely weakened and damaged because of their continuous battle in the fourth great ninja war.
"Sasuke, we need to break the infinite Tsukuyomi now." Naruto stated while staring into the portal.
"…shouldn't we try and get out of here first." Sasuke stiffed his head and turned his gaze towards the blonde.
"We don't have the strength to do that. even if we did, the portal is closing at extreme fast. We won't be able to make it." Naruto had analyzed all the possible outcomes and found that they have a small chance of escaping this void.
"Why don't you ask your friend for more chakra." Sasuke was referring to the tailed beast within Naruto stomach.
"I can't, Kurama was ripped apart from me when we were absorbed by this void." Naruto slightly moved his gaze up towards the edge of the portal.
"He currently merging with his other half." Naruto said, having sense the two halves of Kurama combining with his sage sense.
"We have to do this Sasuke; we have to save everyone before we die off in this empty void." Naruto raised his stiff and damaged arm towards Sasuke.
"…is this it, are you just going to give up?" Sasuke questioned the whiskered man before him, feeling as if he was seeing a new side on him.
"Where the Naruto that would never give no matter what the odds? Why are you just giving up now?! What about your dreams and ambitions?! Who are you?!" Sasuke screamed at the blonde man with increasing fury.
His words however did nothing to sway Naruto minds or even caused a change in Naruto expression at all.
"Sasuke…my dreams are not worth the lives of our world." Naruto said with absolute resolve in his tone, he had come to term with his death and had let go of his anger.
Sasuke eyes shook as he stared at his best friend, he sighed helplessly before he brought his arm next to Naruto. "You're such a fool."
Naruto chuckled at his words before he formed a rat-hand sign with his best friend…no, brother.
"Release!" Both simultaneously yelled out, releasing everyone from the endless genjutsu and saving the world from desolation.
"So…did it work?" Sasuke asked since Naruto had better sense than him by miles and could tell if everyone was safe from here.
"Yeah, everyone is freed." A bright and warm smile formed on Naruto head as he felt the life signature of the world become alive again.
"That's…good." Sasuke stated as he and Naruto watch as the portal decrease into nothingness.
The two ninjas stood there in quietly, waiting for the inevitable hands of death to grasp's them from this endless void.
Though, it seemed the Shinigami was taking it sweet time.
"…Sasuke, do you think we're going to heaven?" Naruto turned his head over and asked his friend a question that had been on his mind.
"…you're probably going to heaven; I'm going to hell for everything I did." Sasuke didn't even question it and just answered as truthfully as he could.
"But you save the world with me, shouldn't that give you some extra points with the gods?" Naruto looks back at his friend with a raised eyebrow.
"YOU save the world; you basically just dragged me along." Sasuke stated with seriousness on the 'you' part since he fully well that Naruto was the one that truly saved the world.
"Beside it wouldn't even matter if I did save the world." Sasuke said back to this friend which caused some confusion to appear in Naruto.
"Why do you say that?" Naruto asked questionable, he believed that saving the world was a big deal and maybe deserve a spot in heaven.
"If everything is true about the gods, then our world is just an infinitesimal part of their world." Sasuke said with serious expression, understanding just how small they are in the endless universe that they live in.
"Us saving our world would the equivalent to someone saving an apple from falling to the ground." Sasuke finished off his depressing and sad looks upon their achievements.
"…way to go Sasuke, you just had to ruin the moment." Naruto said dryly with a roll of his eyes.
"I'm just speaking the truth and sometimes it hurts." Sasuke stated with a blank expression, having no reactions to Naruto words.
Naruto sighed helplessly at his friend's state, he was as dry as a brick.
"…you think anyone we know are in heaven, like our parents?" Naruto hoped that Sasuke had a bright answer to this cause his mood was at an all-time low.
"Nope, all the people we knew were ninjas and their main objective was kills people. I don't think heaven would allow people like that into their domain." Sasuke said after analyzing the possibility of anyone they knew that could be in Heaven.
"I'm pretty sure everyone that was a shinobi from past, present, and maybe the future will all go to hell…" Sasuke stopped his words as he turned his gaze over to Naruto.
"Except maybe you." Sasuke added on, believe that a pure and honest soul like Naruto will probably get into heaven.
"…I don't know how to feel about that." Complicated emotion formed around Naruto heart as he registered Sasuke words.
"So, you're saying I'll be all alone in heaven?" Naruto asked Sasuke, feeling like he might know the answer to his problem.
"Probably." Sasuke truthfully answered, having believed that no other shinobi except Naruto had the qualifications to enter heaven with their background.
"…do you think heaven would allow me to enter hell if I asked?" Naruto did not want to stay in heaven if it meant that he couldn't spend time with his family or friends.
Sasuke took a minute to register Naruto before he turned around and looked at Naruto as if he was blind monkey. "You're a dumbass."
"Hey, who you are calling dumb!" Naruto shouted back at Sasuke with a tick on his forehead.
"You, who the hell wants to give up heaven to go into hell!" Sasuke shouted back at Naruto with the same amount of fury.
"If heaven doesn't have my friends or family then I ain't staying!" Naruto was not going to spend the rest of his life without his friends or family.
"That a dumb logic?!" Sasuke was dumb struck by the stupid logic that his friend was going by.
"Well, it's my logic!" Naruto roared his friend; he was going to be shame for wanting to spend his afterlife with the ones that he loved.
The two soon argued with each other like little children, not allowing anyone of them to get ahead of them.
They finally stopped arguing after their bodies could no longer handle the high blood pressure and gave out on them.
"…this was not how I expected to die." Naruto said with a slight melancholy voice.
"How did you wish to die?" Sasuke raised his eyebrow and side-eyed his best friend.
"Dying of old age with family and friend surrounding me as they say their farewells." Naruto answered with a slight curl on his lips.
"…pretty anti-climactic for someone like yourself." Sasuke was pretty underwhelmed by how Naruto wanted to die.
"Oh yeah, and how would you want to die?" Naruto asked with an aggressive tone, angry about Sasuke statement.
"I wouldn't, I would try to stay immortal and keep the world safe." Sasuke stated to Naruto in all seriousness.
"…and you say mine anti-climactic." Naruto stared at Sasuke with a deadpan expression.
"Are you at least going to have some children?" Naruto asked, wanting to spice up Sasuke blank dream.
"Nope, I will stay alone and be in the shadows." Sasuke hadn't really thought about becoming a family person and just wanted to be in the shadows like his brother, itachi.
"So, you're going to stay a virgin forever." Naruto said with a small chuckle coming out of his mouth.
"What does that have to do with anything." Sasuke asked with narrowed eyes and a tick mark on his forehead.
"Nothing." Naruto turned his gaze away from Sasuke and whistled a tone before an evil smirk formed on his face.
"You know there was a running rumor amongst me and the guys about you." Naruto chuckled evilly as he stared at Sasuke.
"What was that?" Sasuke asked with a grim tone, feeling as something extremely bad was going to come out of Naruto mouth.
"That you're gay and this just proves it!" Naruto laughed as he spoke, he was laughing so hard that he almost rolled his eyes back.
"The fuck you mean I'm gay!" Sasuke roared at Naruto with an angry expression, completely enrage by Naruto accusation.
Naruto didn't answer him at all and just kept laughing while Sasuke grew increasingly angry at Naruto.
Naruto laughter soon stopped as a glowing light formed Infront of both Naruto and Sasuke.
"Well, I guess the Shinigami is here." Naruto stated while looking at the white light, believing that it their time had finally come.
"Yeah." Sasuke said with a relaxed expression, strangely accepting his fate.
"Wonder what the Shinigami would look like?" Naruto wondered how the Shinigami would look once they met him up in that light.
"Probably the same as the one your father summoned." Sasuke answered, having seen it from the Kurama memories when he placed a genjutsu on it.
"You think the Shinigami will remember me from when I was a baby?" Naruto asked, having seen and felt the hands of death when he was but a few hours old.
"I don't think so." Sasuke didn't really think the Shinigami would remember it since he had a lot to deal with while managing the universe and all.
"Let just hope the Shinigami is not evil or something." Naruto said, having read a lot of stories where the Shinigami was evil and vengeful ghost.
"Don't believe everything you read, Naruto." Sasuke smirked at the terrified expression on Naruto face.
Soon, the two brothers were teleported into the light and left the empty void behind them.
Naruto woke up with a groan, he rubbed his eyes as she stared at the blinding light around him.
He was surprised to find that his body was recovering from the war, and he now had the strength to move now.
Naruto got up from his spot and looked around until he spotted someone in the distance
"Sasuke, is that you?" Naruto squinted his eyes at the person, believing to be Sasuke since he was the only person coming with him.
"No, the young Uchiha has left this plane and went somewhere else." The figure stated as he appeared Infront of Naruto.
"Super-gramps?!" Naruto shouted as he stared at the legendary sage of six paths.
"What are you doing here and what do you mean Sasuke has left?" Naruto stared to look around to see if he could Sasuke anywhere, but he found nothing.
"It alright, my boy. Sasuke had already passed onto the afterlife." Hagoromo stated, trying to calm down the young jinchuriki.
"He has?!" Naruto was shocked that Sasuke had gone into the afterlife without him and didn't even say goodbye to him.
"Yes." The sage of six paths nodded with a sagely tone.
"But he didn't even say goodbye to me." Naruto was little down that Sasuke didn't at least try to have a bonding moment before they depart.
"Because you two are going in completely different paths from each other." Hagoromo said to the whiskered man.
"I know I was going heaven and all, but didn't he already tell you I was going to hell to be with everyone else." Naruto tried to explain his outburst to his spiritual father.
"Naruto, you cannot go to hell." Hagoromo stated with absolute seriousness within his voice.
"Why not?!" Naruto was exasperated that he couldn't be with his family and unconscious roared at the sage of six paths.
"The gods will not allow a pure soul to enter the realm of damnation." Hagoromo elaborated on the reason that the gods denied Naruto request.
"Can't the gods make an exception?" Naruto asked the sage, hoping that there was a solution to his dilemma.
"No, the universe works in an organized cycle. Accepting your request would cause a multitude of problems along the way." The sage shook his head at Naruto.
"So, I have to spend my afterlife in a place where neither by friend nor family are there." Naruto soon grew depressed as he heard the sage words.
"Well, you were going to heaven…" the sage words drew Naruto out of his depression and made him stare at the sage with questioning eyes.
"What do you mean by that?" Naruto raised his eyebrow as he looked at the sage with curiosity within his eyes.
"Me and the Uchiha boy have come up with a solution to your problem…" Hagoromo stated while gripping into his staff.
both Sasuke and Hagoromo talked it over about Naruto path once it became apparent that Naruto would truly follow the universal rules.
They knew Naruto would do something stupid or dangerous that would either harm himself or the system to be with his family.
So, the two of them came up with a solution that could solve all their problems and would allow Naruto to be with everyone without causing any damage.
"The best solution for you Naruto is reincarnation." Hagoromo tapped Naruto chest with his staff.
"How is that the best solution for me?" Naruto found their solution to be a little weird and needed more explaining to be done.
"As you know, nothing is infinite in this universal and everything has a time limit." The sage stated while he looked at Naruto.
The young jinchuriki began to think about the sage words before it hit him. "People's time in hell are not infinite?"
"That is correct, this who committed small crimes have little Time in hell while those who committed serious are in there for a long time. Once they finished their sentence, they will be given the opportunity to go to heaven." Hagoromo began to explain the structure of hell as briefly as he could.
"So, all I have to do is wait for everyone to be finish with their sentence?" Naruto rubbed his chin as he began to process the information given to him.
"That would normally be the correct route for someone but not you, my friend." Hagoromo said while tapping Naruto chest with his staff.
"Why, are you guys calling me inpatient?" Naruto mouth twitch as he said that.
He may have been impatient when he was young, but things have changed and he has become more patient than before.
"That is not it. The reason being is that everyone you love has an extremely long sentence." The sage stated to the young man, having personally seen the sentence given to his friends and family.
"It could take centuries for you to ever see one of your friends again…" Hagoromo looked sadly at the whiskered man.
"This is a form of extreme torture for someone like you, not being to enjoy the afterlife with loved one is an extreme hollow and sad experience…" a flash of melancholy flashed through Hagoromo, he too had experienced this same torture when he first came to the afterlife.
Both of his sons were still down on earth fighting each other to the deaths, and his nine children were also on earth being treated like weapons for centuries.
He spent most of time in the afterlife in solitude and it was a horrifying experience for him. He did not want the same thing to befell on the young man before him.
"This is why reincarnation is the best option. You will have something to live for while they finish their sentence. Once you die in the new life, you can actually experience the afterlife with happiness." Hagoromo said with extreme conviction within his voice.
Naruto looked at the sage as he tried to understand the information, he gripped onto the backless as he looked at the sage.
"Will I still remember everything?" This was the most important question in Naruto mind since he didn't want to forget about his life in the elemental nation.
"Yes, you will." The sage nodded happily; his power could at least grant this simple request.
"Then, what we are waiting for. Let do it." Naruto smiled upon Hagoromo answer, he didn't mind going on another adventure.
"Good." Hagoromo said as he brought his staff down and opened a strange portal on the ground.
"There are two things I wish to inform you about your new life…" Hagoromo said as he brought up his hand.
"The first is that you will not have your chakra with you since this world is a normal one without any supernatural things…" a finger went up as Hagoromo stated this.
"Second is that your we be reincarnated as a baby at the start…" a second finger went up.
"That seems alright with me." Naruto was fine with these conditions since it didn't really change who he was as a person.
"Good, I've also given you a stronger body as compensation for losing your chakra if that helps." Hagoromo said as he waves his staff on the portal.
"Thanks, super-gramps." Naruto gave a thumbs-up to the sage.
"It no problem at all." Hagoromo waved it off since it was really nothing to him at all.
"Goodbye super-gramps." Naruto said before he jumped into the portal, heading towards a new life.
"Good luck, young Naruto. I hope you have a peaceful life." The sage yelled into the portal, saying his goodbye to the young man.
"I will." Naruto stated back before he embraced the white light coming towards him.
He couldn't wait for the new life awaiting him down below.
"Push honey, your almost there!" A young man shouted to his laboring wife.
They were currently at a hospital, eagerly waiting for the birth of their child.
This had been on their minds for the past nine months; they were finally going to be parents.
"Just a little more, madam." The doctor stated as he could already see the head coming out.
"AAAAHHHH…" the wife pushed harder than and gave one last push before the baby came out of her womb.
"Congratulations, it's a boy." The doctor said as he handed over the baby to the parents.
"What do you think we should name him, honey." The man asked his wife.
The women stared at her baby for a moments before something dawned on her. "Naruto…"
Both the husband and doctor looked at incredulous at the women, both wondering if they heard it right.
"A ramen topping?" The young man raised his eyebrow at his wife.
"It means maelstrom, sweetie." The wife said with an embarrassing blush, trying to justify the name.
"Alright, whatever you say." The man sighed helplessly as he stared at the baby and his wife.
"Naruto kimura." The women stated as she brought her baby up and kissed him on the forehead.
"Welcome to the world."
The baby giggled a little as he stared at his parents.

I'm think of starting a new story while developing my total drama one.
I want to have some time off of it since my brain has not been able to come up with a good storyline for it right now.
I'm just using this one to refresh my brain and try to tap into my imagination.
I still hope you like the story though.
