Sauron sends Agandaur north to the ruins of Carn Dum with the intent of amassing legions to attack the northern lands in unison with his own attacks on Gondor. But with Dwarves, Elves, Dunedain and Hobbits dwelling there, Agandaur commands his servant Camgul to summon greater powers from beyond to help. The result is something neither (Camgul specifically) particularly hoped for.

When Tempest finally starts his first day at the Academy, he doesn't expect to face the Puppet-Master.
