37. Chapter 37

Save the Radio Tower

The scene begins with the group on Lincoln and Ronnie Anne's flying Pokémon heading towards goldenrod city.

"We're here!" Lincoln said."

"I'm really mad that these low lives took over the radio tower!" Luna said."

"And the message is still going," Bobby said."

"That's why we have to stop them!" Lynn sr. said."

"Alright, it's time for operation storm the tower, save the hostages and beat team rocket once and for all and also think of a shorter name for this operation into action!" Lincoln said."

"You really need to think of them ahead of time," Brandon said."

"Yeah, I should," Lincoln said."

They storm in the radio tower and start fighting the grunts and free the hostages.

"Are you ok?" Luke asked."

"Yes, but the main room is locked." the woman replied." And our boss is hidden somewhere."

"Great, who knows where he is," Stanley said."

"He can't be too far," Becca said."

"I know where he is," a voice said."

The group turns around and sees Spinel who's in disguised. Leni and the girls minus Lori, Rita, Becca, Frida, and Ronnie Anne blush seeing him.

"You do? where?" Arturo asked."

"He's in the storage with the crates," Spinel replied."

"Thanks," Brandon said."

They leave while dragging the girls.

"Seriously, are you going to blush every time you see a good-looking guy?" Lori asked."

"What? he's handsome," Lola replied."

"Remember what we talked about?" Rita asked."

The sisters remember after seeing the orange island gym leaders.

"Oh right," Lola said."

"Something tells me that he can't be trusted," Luke said."

They use the underground doors and make it to the storage room.

"Shadow, take them out," Brandon said."

He sends out Edgehog and quickly takes out the grunts.

"Way past cool," Carl said."

They find the radio boss tied up.

"Are you ok?" Maria asked as she unties him.

"Yes, thank you," the radio boss replied."

"How did you get like this?" Carlos asked."

"A good-looking man came in and asked me if he can use the radio to help his friends send a message. next thing we knew team rocket stormed in and took over the tower. they even captured me and locked me up in here," the radio boss replied."

"Did the guy have green like hair and wears glasses?" Luke asked."

The radio boss nods.

"I knew it," Luke said."

"Why is it always the handsome ones being evil?" Lola asked."

"I guess we can't judge appearances," Adelaide replied."

(Hands Lincoln a card) "Here, this is my key card. use it to enter the main room," the radio boss said."

"Thanks, we'll stop team rocket," Lincoln said."

They leave and return to the tower. as they fight more grunts, they run into Silver.

"Silver?!" Lynn said." Why are you here?"

"I'm here to deal with these weaklings," Silver replied."

"Really, I thought Lance's words got to you," CJ said."

"Quiet freak!" Silver said."

"Hey, don't insult my brother like that!" Carlota said."

"Yeah!" Carl said as Carlitos blows razzberries."

"Whatever, do what you want," Silver said as he leaves."

"I think Lance's words got to him," Lincoln said." But right now, let's stop team rocket."

The group made it to the head office and uses the card key. it unlocks the door, and they see Proton, Cassidy, Butch, and disguised Spinel.

"Proton, Cassidy, and Boris," Brandon said."

"It's Butch!" Butch said."

Meanwhile in royal woods,

Boris sneezes.

"I don't know why, buy someone confused me with a team rocket goon," Boris said confusing the morticians club."

Back with the others.

"Who are you?" Lincoln asked the disguised Spinel."

"And why tell us where the radio boss is since you kidnapped him?" Clyde asked."

Spinel gets rid of his disguise.

"I am Spinel of the explorers," Spinel replied."

"Like Amethio and his buddies?" Sid asked."

"Indeed," Spinel replied." But don't worry, I'm not here to fight, I'm under orders to watch."

"And we're here to bring back Giovanni," Butch said."

"Wait? you told him where the radio boss is?" Proton asked."

"Of course, like I said, I'm here to watch," Spinel replied."

"But, I thought you wanted to help me I mean us," Cassidy said feeling heart broken."

"Sorry my dear, but you aren't my type," Spinel said."

Cassidy was so broken that she fell on her knees.

"Dude, you're cold as ice," Luna said."

"Thank you, and Giovanni is never coming back," Spinel said as he leaves.

"Forget him, we can still get our revenge on the brat!" Proton said."

"Right!" Butch said."

They send out a Shadow Persian and Houndoom.

"Let's do it to it Sonic," Lincoln said as he sends out Soniquik.

"You too Shadow," Brandon said as he sends out Edgehog."

"Destroy them!" Proton said."

The shadow Pokémon charged at them.

"Roll out!" Lincoln and Brandon said."

Soniquik and Edgehog rolled into balls and hit the Pokémon.

"Swift!" Brandon said."

Edgehog fires swift like chaos spears hitting the Pokémon.

"Thunder kick!" Lincoln said."

Soniquik uses thunder kick and sends the Pokémon in the air."

"Shadow ball," Brandon said."

Edgehog appears in front of them and uses shadow ball defeating the Pokémon.

"Premier ball go!" Luke said."

He tosses two premier balls at the Pokémon catching and purifying them.

"It's over," Lincoln said."

Proton and Butch fell to their knees in defeat. Later the police rounded up all the team rocket grunts along with Proton, Butch, and Cassidy who was still heart broken.

"Nice work, these were the last members of team rocket," the officer said."

"That's good," Lynn sr. said."

"Hey, here you can purify this one," Cassidy said tossing her pokeball to Luke."

The cop van leaves.

"I hope she'll heal," Leni said."

"Cassidy, maybe Leni," Lincoln said."

"So, now what?" Carl asked."

"I guess we'll head to the last city," Lana said." Except where?"

"I already checked and it's the one city we haven't been too," Lauren said." it's in blackthorn city."

"So, we have to walk or ride back to Mahogany town great," Lola said sarcastically."

"Lola, you realize that we have our flying types," Lincoln said."

"Oh," Lola said." Never mind them."

"Ok, let's go back to Mahogany town," Ronnie Anne said." Because we were told that she's the strongest gym leader in Johto."
