It really does mean a lot to me that you guys are enjoying this story and are enjoying Everleigh. I'm trying to make her as relatable as possible. I know that I shocked you all with Everleigh breaking the spell of the scepter. I can't wait to show you all what will be happening in this chapter. Without further ado Chapter 10. Enjoy!

Chapter 10

Everleigh looked down at the gown that Loki had picked out for her. It was a floor length green dress with gold accents, with gold heels, and gold jewelry. Her hair styled up into a beautiful updo, with her makeup flawless in the shades of green and gold on her eyes. She closed her eyes taking a breath knowing that she didn't have much of a choice in doing this. If she hadn't Loki would kill her or much worse torture her.

Loki came into the room not bothering to knock on it. A smirk came to his lips as he looked at the young woman now dressed in such a fine gown. He walked towards her with purpose.

Everleigh turned her head sharply, feeling his hand run down the length of her bare arm causing a shiver to run down her spine.

Loki's smirk widened as he looked at her. "Beautiful. Simply beautiful, pet."

Everleigh's cheeks flushed bright red as she looked up at Loki. She didn't expect him to take such an interest in her like this. Making her dress in the finest of clothing that she would never wear in her life. It made her nervous.

Loki smiled when he saw the reddess growing in her cheeks. He had to admit that she looked beautiful and he wasn't about to part with her any time soon.

Everleigh shyly looked down, biting her lip softly.

Avengers

Loki walked down some stairs from a balcony with Everleigh on his arm.

Everleigh nibbled her red lip as she walked with Loki. She couldn't believe that she was doing this.

A gala scientist was at the podium talking.

Loki suddenly hit the man with his scepter, knocking him to the floor.

The guests stopped and stared in awe at the two people that were now at the podium.

Loki swiftly grabbed the Gala scientist, flipping him onto a statue and then used a device to bore into his eye.

The guests scattered away in horror, screaming and running away as Loki smiled menacingly.

Everleigh looked away, her face growing pale at the sight before her.

People fled the gala, screaming.

Loki followed with Everleigh on his arm, before he took on his Asgardian attire. He suddenly blasts a Polizei car that was speeding towards him, flipping it over. He created duplicates of himself, surrounding a mob of gala people. "Kneel before me. I said- KNEEL!"

The people hurried, dropping quickly to their knees before him.

Loki began to walk through the crowd with Everleigh on his arm patting her hand softly with his. "Is not this simpler? Is this not your natural state? It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that

you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end- you will always kneel."

Everleigh's eyes widened as an old German got up to his feet. "Not to men like you."

"There are no men like me."

"There are always men like you."

"Look to your elder, people. Let him be an example." Loki fired his scepter, but Captain America jumped in front of the old man, deflecting the beam off his shield causing it to hit Loki and Everleigh knocking them both to the ground.

Everleigh hissed in pain as she hit the ground hard.

"You know, the last time I was in Germany and saw a man standing above everybody else, we ended up disagreeing."

"The soldier." Loki said as he got to his feet. "The man out of time."

"I'm not the one who's out of time."

Suddenly the quinjet came in behind Captain America with Black Widow inside of it.

A gun unfolded from the underside of the plane.

"Loki, drop the weapon and stand down."

Loki fired at the jet and it banked hard to avoid the blast.

Captain America suddenly attacked Loki and the two of them fought on another. Loki knocked the Cap's shield to the side and forced him down with his scepter.

"Kneel!"

"Not today." Cap said as he jumped up and did a spin-kick to Loki's face.

The two of them continued to fight.

Everleigh slowly got up to her feet, shaking as she got up. She could feel blood running down her arms from the wounds that she had gotten from landing hard on the pavement. Everleigh looked up into the air and let out a soft breath as Iron Man flew down and fired a repulsor blast knocking Loki down.

"Make a move reindeer games." Tony said as he kept his hands raised looking at Loki.

Loki's Asgardian garb faded away and he raised his hands. "Good move."

Cap walked over to Iron man as the quinjet began to land behind them. "Mister Stark."

"Captain."

Cap looked over at Everleigh. "You alright, Miss Vincen?"

Everleigh looked up at Cap and nodded her head weakly. "Just a bit banged around." She said softly as she walked towards Cap.

Cap looked at her concerned. "Sorry that you were knocked down ma'am."

"It's fine, Cap." She said softly, forcing a smile onto her lips. She wasn't about to tell him how much she hurt at the moment. "Let's just get into the air."

Cap nodded his head as Everleigh walked past him limping a little as she went to the plane. Cap and Iron Man got Loki and led him towards the plane as well.

Natasha turned her head seeing Everleigh. "You alright there Everleigh."

"Not under his control any more. I'm alright. A little sore from falling." She shrugged her shoulders.

"And Clint?"

Everleigh took a breath and looked down. "Him and the others are still under the control of the scepter." She admitted softly. "And I don't know how to break it… my magic broke mine…"

Natasha nodded her head as she went to the front of the aircraft.

Everleigh slowly walked and sat down up near where Natasha was taking a soft breath as Loki was brought on board. Everleigh looked away biting her lower lip softly, she couldn't bring herself to look at the man that pretty much forced her against her will after breaking out of his control.
