The plane touched down at JFK, and Rory stretched in her seat, letting out a content sigh. "Three months in Europe, and I still feel like I could use another month."

Logan chuckled, taking her hand. "That's because we spent half of it sightseeing and the other half trying every possible dessert in France."

Rory grinned. "No regrets. Though, I do feel like our child is now 70% croissants."

Logan glanced at her stomach and smirked. "Well, I think we did a pretty good job keeping the secret. But I have a feeling that's about to change."

Rory looked down at the very noticeable bump that hadn't been there when they left Stars Hollow. "Yeah… this coat is only going to hide so much."

As they exited the airport, a car was already waiting to take them back to Stars Hollow. The town, their family, and their big reveal awaited.

The moment they stepped into the square, Rory and Logan were met with a loud chorus of "SURPRISE!"

The entire town had gathered for a welcome-home party. Banners that read Welcome Back, Mr. & Mrs. Huntzberger! hung from the gazebo, and tables were overflowing with food from every shop in town. Balloons and twinkle lights decorated the streets, giving everything a warm glow.

Lorelai was the first to run up and hug them. "I knew I raised a smart kid—taking an extended honeymoon in Europe was pure genius. But no more running off! We need details. Stories. Gossip."

Before Rory could respond, Finn practically tackled Logan into a hug. "Ah, my married friend! Tell me, did you miss me terribly? I bet Europe wasn't the same without my charm and wit."

Colin smirked. "Yes, Finn. I'm sure Logan was devastated."

Stephanie hugged Rory. "Okay, first of all, you look amazing. I need every single detail about Paris."

Rory laughed, exchanging a look with Logan. This was it—the moment.

Stephanie stepped back, her eyes scanning Rory, and then she really looked at her.

"Oh. My. God." Her eyes widened as she pointed at Rory's stomach. "Is that—wait. Are you—?"

Rory smiled, unbuttoned her coat, and let it fall open.

Gasps filled the air.

"You're pregnant?!" Sookie squealed, running over with a look of absolute delight.

Finn clutched his chest dramatically. "I knew something felt different! You, my love, have been hiding a secret heir from us!"

Emily, who had been standing near the back, stepped forward, her expression unreadable for a moment before a slow, proud smile formed. "Well. I certainly wasn't expecting this news today."

Lane smacked Rory's arm playfully. "You knew for three months and didn't tell me?! Me?!"

Rory grinned. "I wanted to tell you in person."

Kirk, standing nearby, tilted his head. "So… does this mean I should start preparing to be the town's official babysitter?"

Lorelai shot him a look. "Not a chance, Kirk."

Paris, who had just arrived, crossed her arms. "Well, I guess I'm officially an aunt now. Not sure how I feel about that."

Rory smirked. "Oh, come on. You're going to be the cool aunt."

Paris scoffed. "Obviously."

Logan wrapped his arm around Rory, looking around at the chaos their news had caused. "Well," he murmured, "that went exactly how I thought it would."

Rory laughed. "And this is only the beginning."

As friends and family surrounded them, hugging them, congratulating them, and making plans for the baby's arrival, Rory and Logan exchanged a knowing look.

Europe had been magical, but coming home—to this—was even better.
