Chapter Fifteen: The Epic Clash Of Two Worlds In The Temple
Mojo Jojo, Simon Bar Sinister, and Cad Lackey made it to the near apex of their respective sides of the Temple of Reckoning. They walked right through a door and looked straight up, seeing a very high set of spiral staircases with a small ray of light at the very top. The chimpanzee and the two humans, sensing that the worst of the danger was behind them, took the small chance to catch their breaths, drink some fluids, and nurse several cuts, bruises, and burns they all sustained through their hellish trek through the dangerous temple.
"We're almost there, Cad! We can't fucking stop now!" Simon said with an evil smile.
"You ready, boss?" Cad asked with Simon only getting in a nod.
"At the apex of this staircase lies the very four pieces of jewelry needed to rule the planet!" Mojo said with an evil smile. "I've got so many fucking plans on my vision of ruling the world. I can't fucking wait!"
The three villains, after taking deep breaths and nodding again, began their ascent up the spiral staircases, having to resist the urge to look down as the ascent got much, much higher. As they made their way up the spiral staircases, they began to get narrower, weaker, and even broken in a few spots, one of which caused Simon to nearly fall and take Cad with him down to the bottom. Cad was able to catch Simon and pull him up and steady him.
"Watch your step, boss. It's getting tricky." Cad told his boss.
"Gotcha. Thanks, Cad." Simon said in appreciation.
Mojo also almost had a small scare during his ascent when one of the steps gave way underneath him. The momentum caused him to lose his footing and fall backwards, but he managed to hang onto the support beam in the middle of the staircase to straighten his posture and continue on up.
After about a twelve minute very disorienting and dizzying ascent, the three villains made it to the very top of the Temple of Reckoning, only having to climb up a short ladder to get inside of another room. The room was large and octagon shaped with simple staircases that led to a pedestal. And on top of that pedestal was the very jewelry that was the target of all three villains – the single Forbidden Necklace and the three Bracelets of Despair. The jewelry sparkled very heavily in front of their eyes, and it was very well sealed in a form of glass. Mojo approached it from the right while Simon and Cad approached it from the left.
Mojo walked over to the glass and placed his hands on it and gave it a few knocks, nodding and grinning evilly.
"Haha, it's just bulletproof glass!" Mojo said as he began to reach into his backpack to find a piece of equipment he needed. "This will be too fucking easy! They're practically handing me the jewelry!"
Simon and Cad also walked over to the glass with both villains placing their hands on it and giving it a few knocks, evilly nodding and grinning.
"Boss, this ain't nothing but fucking bulletproof glass!" Cad told Simon.
"We'll have this fucking jewelry in no time, Cad!" Simon added. "Hand me the laser gun and put it on 70!" Simon then ordered.
Cad reached into his backpack and started to sift through the equipment that he and Simon brought along with them. But as Cad was looking around briefly, he spotted Mojo on the other side as Mojo found the tool he needed to penetrate the glass.
"Hey boss, look! We've got company!" Cad alerted Simon, who looked around and also saw Mojo on the other side.
"Son of a bitch!" Simon said angrily as he walked over to the other side to confront Mojo.
"Hey! Who the fuck are you?!" Simon asked Mojo, who then looked up and saw Simon just steps from him.
"Who the fuck am I?! I am Mojo Jojo, the very person who shall take possession of this very jewelry you see before you! And when I procure these four pieces of jewelry, it will in turn provide me the capabilities necessary to rule the world!" Mojo answered. "Now I do not know nor give two shits who you are, but I demand you leave this place at once!" Mojo then demanded.
"Neither one of those things will be happening, asshole!" Simon replied just as Cad walked over to join his boss. "Because I, Simon Bar Sinister, along with my assistant Cad Lackey here, have the same fucking idea as you, and it will be me who will be taking this jewelry here and I will be ruling the world! Now, Simon says….be gone, you mother fucking primate, or else!"
"Or else fucking what, you mother fucking chipmunk?!" Mojo inquired. "Trust me, you DO NOT want this fight! You have ten seconds to make your departure or suffer the most dire of consequences!"
"You can count to a thousand, you piece of shit!" Cad replied. "We ain't goin' nowhere! The only fucking way you're getting this jewelry is over our fucking dead bodies!"
"Oh, that shit can most definitely be arranged!" Mojo said before he went on the attack on Simon and Cad.
Mojo got in the very first blows on Simon and Cad, the blows sending both men tumbling down the staircase with Mojo in pursuit. Simon and Cad fought back and had a two-on-one numbers advantage and were able to get in some good double team blows on Mojo. Mojo, however, wouldn't go down easily. Despite his disadvantage, he fought back admirably and landed some good counter blows on Simon and Cad. Mojo tried desperately to find openings to deal with them one at a time, but Simon and Cad easily found ways to use their numbers game to their advantage.
Mojo had to find a way to separate Simon and Cad, so he reached into his backpack and grabbed a small gun, shooting a rope out of it with the rope missing Simon but hitting Cad. The rope instantly hogtied Cad, giving the Self-Proclaimed Most Evil and the Wickedest Man In The World an even one-on-one fight. The battle between Mojo and Simon was fairly down the middle, both men getting in hard blows on one another. Mojo, however, gave Simon a blow below the belt, thus giving him the upper hand and getting in several undefended blows on the Capitol City villain that eventually subdued him.
With nothing else standing in his way, Mojo made a mad dash up the staircase and to the pedestal that the jewelry sat on, his tool in hand, which was a specialized drill he made to easily cut through bulletproof glass. The bulletproof glass was heavily layered seven times over, but that proved to be no issue for Mojo other than just some time.
"At last, I, Mojo Jojo, with the aid of the single Forbidden Necklace and the three Bracelets of Despair, will rule the world with an iron fist!" Mojo said, a long evil laugh proceeding it.
Directly behind Mojo, that familiar zoom sound he was all too used to could be heard. Mojo got admittedly spooked when he heard that sound, turning around briefly to see if anyone was behind him, not seeing anything at first.
"Hell no, it couldn't be." Mojo said, just dismissing the zoom sounds. "This fucking temple has been playing tricks on me all day."
The zoom sound got louder as Mojo continued to break through the bulletproof glass, the source of it eventually appearing behind him.
"Not…." Blossom shouted.
"So…." Buttercup shouted.
"Fast…." Bubbles shouted.
"MOJO JOJO!" All three girls shouted in unison as they flew towards Mojo.
Mojo turned around and saw his three familiar adversaries, letting out a huge gasp and opening his eyes wide.
"SHIT! POWERPUFF GIRLS!" Mojo shouted, swiftly reaching in his backpack to grab another large gun. "Thank God I came prepared!"
The gun was the exact same gun that Mojo used during a battle with the Powerpuff Girls that also included Princess Morbucks, where if the girls were hit by the laser, it would zap them of their powers. But this time, it didn't have the ricocheting flaw that the other one had. Mojo shot the huge lasers from the gun directly at the girls, which they easily dodged.
"Oh shit!" Blossom shouted, dodging more of the laser shots. "Girls! Don't let the laser hit you, just like before!"
Bubbles and Buttercup shot their own laser eyebeams towards Mojo's feet to try to get him off balance, the chimpanzee looking around and shooting the lasers towards the girls when he had stable footing.
"The fucking jig is up, Mojo! We're kicking your ass and giving you another one way ticket to jail!" Bubbles declared.
"You three bitches are not stopping me this time! I will not be denied!" Mojo proclaimed.
Mojo continued to shoot the lasers towards the girls until Buttercup eventually found an opening, zooming in and giving Mojo a hard blow, dislodging the gun from his hands which Blossom and Bubbles promptly destroyed.
"You were fucking saying, Mojo?!" Buttercup said with a cocky grin on her face.
"DENIED!" All three girls said in unison as they all laughed.
"Just how the fuck did you know I was even here?!" Mojo inquired but just quickly waved it off. "Nevermind, don't answer that. Come on, I'll finish you three off with my bare hands!"
"Oh, really?" Blossom said with a smirk on her face before she, Bubbles, and Buttercup flew over towards Mojo.
As the Powerpuff Girls and Mojo Jojo fought, Simon recovered and briefly looked over at the pink, blue, and green trails that the girls emitted, but he quickly shifted his focus to the hogtied Cad. Simon reached into his backpack and grabbed a lightsaber-like weapon, cutting the ropes loose and setting Cad free. Cad took a quick look over at the trails, almost dumbfounded.
"Boss, what the fuck?!" Cad asked Simon.
"No time! Off your ass and on your feet! Ain't no time to beat your meat!" Simon answered as he helped Cad to his feet, both men making a mad dash up the staircase and to the pedestal.
There was already a decent sized hole that Mojo started, so Cad simply grabbed his own laser gun and handed it to Simon, who continued the penetration. From behind, the familiar whoosh sound Simon and Cad were all too used to could be heard. Cad turned around to look to see where the source of the sound was coming from, tapping Simon on his shoulders to get his attention.
"Boss, I heard something!" Cad alerted Simon.
"I didn't hear shit, Cad! I am busy preparing my world domination plans because nothing is fucking stopping me now!" Simon replied with an evil laugh.
The whoosh sound increased in volume as Simon continued to break through the bulletproof glass, the source of it eventually appearing behind him and Cad, Cad looking up and seeing the source.
"BOSS! SHIT, IT'S UNDERDOG!" Cad alerted Simon, violently shaking him to get his attention again, Simon turning around and seeing Underdog flying towards them both.
"SHIT!" Simon shouted out.
"Yes, it's me in the flesh. Here to put your plans to rest!" Underdog said.
"CAD! THE ELECTRONET! NOW!" Simon ordered.
Cad swiftly pulled out the requested gun from his backpack, but he couldn't get one shot out before Underdog delivered a blow to Cad that sent him tumbling down the staircase. Simon quickly ran over and picked up the gun, shooting the net projectiles towards Underdog. Underdog easily dodged the large net projectiles, though because it was a fully automatic weapon, Underdog couldn't find a clear lane to launch an attack on Simon. At one point, Simon ran out of ammo and only needed a fraction of a second to reload it with some magazines he had in his backpack. That fraction of a second was all Underdog needed to finally get in an attack on Simon, sending him tumbling down the staircase. Underdog caught the Electronet gun and swiftly destroyed it, Simon and Cad down at the bottom of the staircase with Underdog pursuing them.
"You're both leaving here with empty hands. Back to fucking jail is where you'll land." Underdog said to Simon and Cad.
"Underdog, you mother fucking bastard! I have no earthly fucking idea how you knew we were even here, but Cad and I will make this temple your fucking grave!" Simon declared.
"Simon and Cad, when will you learn? When you play with fire, you'll get burned!" Underdog got out as he flew towards Simon and Cad to fight them both.
There were two separate fights at that juncture, Mojo Jojo doing battle against the Powerpuff Girls and Simon Bar Sinister and Cad Lackey doing battle against Underdog. The Powerpuff Girls of course had the massive three-on-one advantage over Mojo and gave him yet another beating. And despite the two-on-one advantage Simon and Cad had over Underdog, Underdog was easily able to fend them both off. But amazingly, unlike their virtually defenseless defeats from before, Mojo, Simon, and Cad held their own against the girls and Underdog, respectively. It wasn't a truly one-sided affair that time around even though the heroes, for the most part, had the upper hand. But at one point, Mojo surprisingly was able to subdue the Powerpuff Girls while Simon and Cad surprisingly were able to do the same to Underdog.
The three villains ran up the staircase and to the pedestal to go after their prize, all running into each other again.
"Oh, it's you again?!" Mojo said to Simon and Cad.
"Yes, it's us again, asshole! Are you that eager to die?" Simon asked Mojo.
"I'm not the one who's gonna fucking die." Mojo declared as he once again engaged with Simon and Cad.
The Townsville and Capitol City villains exchanged blows, Mojo barely able to stop the double team onslaught from Simon and Cad. Simon and Cad were relentless in their two-on-one assault on Mojo, but Mojo once again was able to overcome it eventually, having to find ways to divide and conquer.
Mojo subdued Simon and Cad for that time being, but before he could even make a single stride towards the jewelry, Blossom came zooming in with a flying kick that sent Mojo flying away a distance while Bubbles and Buttercup landed near the injured Simon and Cad. Blossom flew over to Simon and Cad as well, the three girls picking up the two Capitol City villains and flying them over to a corner where they would be out of harm's way. However, Underdog, who recovered, looked up and saw the Powerpuff Girls helping Simon and Cad, the Capitol City hero getting the vastly incorrect assumption that the girls were working for Simon and Cad.
"Those three girls are helping Simon! That is a wrong that I will be righting!" Underdog said.
"Hey, you guys need to get the hell out of here while you still can!" Buttercup suggested to Simon and Cad.
"Yeah, Mojo Jojo is very, very dangerous and evil!" Bubbles added.
"Just let us handle Mojo Jojo! We appreciate the help, but we'll take it from here!" Blossom added as the three girls flew away towards Mojo Jojo.
"Heh, whatever you fucking say." Simon said with a grin and a chuckle.
As the girls flew back to get in an attack on Mojo, Underdog intercepted them and delivered three blows to each of the girls, sending them flying a distance with the girls taking a very hard spill. Underdog looked back at an injured Mojo, helping him up and putting the Townsville villain on his right shoulder, flying him over to another corner where he would be out of harm's way. The girls recovered shortly thereafter, trying to regain their equilibrium after Underdog's attack.
"What the fuck was that?!" Blossom said, dumbfounded.
The girls looked up and saw Underdog helping Mojo, the Townsville heroes also getting the vastly incorrect assumption that Underdog was working for Mojo.
"Hey, look!" Bubbles said, pointing at Underdog flying Mojo over to the corner.
"That bald mother fucker is on Mojo's side!" Buttercup shouted out.
"Come on, girls! Let's kick his ass, finish kicking Mojo's ass, and they'll BOTH go to jail!" Blossom said.
"Simon and Cad are two bad people. I'll be the one to stop their evil." Underdog told Mojo. "In the meantime, you need to leave. This is no place for you to be." Underdog then added as he briefly looked around for Simon and Cad, eventually finding them and flying towards them.
"Oh, I ain't goin' nowhere!" Mojo said with a grin and a chuckle.
Underdog made the very quick flight towards Simon and Cad to finish them off, but the Powerpuff Girls all converged on Underdog and gave him several different triple team blows that sent Underdog flying a distance with Underdog taking a very hard spill.
In the meantime, Mojo, Simon, and Cad all made the leap down from the safe places that Underdog and the Powerpuff Girls, respectively, put them at, the villains once again going after the jewelry.
