Chapter Sixteen: The Epic Clash Of Two Worlds Continues
The Temple of Reckoning was host to a battle of epic proportions. Mojo Jojo, the evil chimpanzee of Townsville, and Simon Bar Sinister and Cad Lackey, the two evil human scientists of Capitol City, were attempting to procure the single Forbidden Necklace and the three Bracelets of Despair to aid them in their dreams and aspirations of world domination. Mojo Jojo was going one on two with Simon Bar Sinister and Cad Lackey, both sets of villains wanting to lay claim to the powerful jewelry. The Powerpuff Girls and Underdog, however, were there attempting to prevent their respective cities' villains from procuring the jewelry, a task that usually posed no problem seeing as they have successfully stopped their archrivals from succeeding at any evil deeds they may have been doing in the past.
There was a massive conflict on who was good and who was evil when the heroes and villains from both cities came to the Temple of Reckoning and did battle. Mojo, after once again fighting off Simon and Cad, took advantage of the vastly incorrect assumptions and had an unimpeded path to the jewelry. Mojo made a mad dash up the staircase and to the pedestal where the jewelry was. He once again got his drill out and resumed his penetration of the seven layers of bulletproof glass, occasionally looking back to see the trails that the girls emitted as they were fighting Underdog and also trying to rush to get the jewelry in his hands before the girls could get back to him.
The Powerpuff Girls eventually subdued Underdog for that time being, looking up and seeing Mojo resuming his penetration of the bulletproof glass. Bubbles flew in and delivered a huge punch to Mojo, sending the chimpanzee tumbling down the staircase and hitting the ground very hard. The blonde pigtailed Powerpuff Girl showed off a bit by crossing her arms and emitting electricity from her eyes.
"I don't think so!" Bubbles said in somewhat of a dark voice as Blossom and Buttercup joined their sister.
"Okay, girls. Now let's finish off monkeyfuck, haul his ass back to Townsville, and…." Blossom got out before she got hit very hard, sending her flying off in the distance.
"Blossom!" Bubbles and Buttercup shouted out.
Bubbles and Buttercup both turned around to see the source of the hit, and in the flesh, a recovered Underdog appeared in front of them.
"Boo!" Underdog got out just as Bubbles and Buttercup turned around.
Before Bubbles and Buttercup could react, Underdog struck them with two punches, a left hand to Bubbles and a right hand to Buttercup, sending them both flying in the same direction Blossom flew. Blossom was pinned against a wall, and when her sisters came crashing into that wall, the wall gave way with the girls making a very long fall down into a separate pit that the Temple of Reckoning had. Underdog, determined to stop who he believed to be allied with Simon and Cad, pursued the girls in the separate pit.
Underdog landed a distance from the girls, Blossom and Bubbles getting up very groggily and having to take a minute to stand on their own two feet, while Buttercup, the toughest fighter, did a kip up and was already on her feet.
"All right, you mother fucking asswipe, you wanna go to war with us?! You fucking got it!" Buttercup said as she flew towards Underdog, who readied himself. "It's time I introduce your ass to Punchy McGee and Fisty O' Flanagan!" Buttercup added.
"Bring it on, bitch, give it your best shot. I promise you it will be all for naught!" Underdog declared before he and Buttercup locked horns.
Buttercup got in the first several massive blows on Underdog, but Underdog countered right back with just as massive blows of his own. The fight was very even and down the middle until Buttercup ducked a haymaker that Underdog threw at her and countered with one of her own. Buttercup's extremely violent tendencies were on full display as she got in a lot of undefended punches and kicks on Underdog, delivering one final blow that sent Underdog crashing down on the ground very hard. Buttercup grinned and made the dust off hands gesture and casually walked over towards Underdog, standing over him.
"You got knocked the fuck out!" Buttercup shouted down towards Underdog.
About three seconds later, Underdog opened his eyes and just sat right up a la The Undertaker, grinning right back at Buttercup.
"Oh, well now I wouldn't say that!" Underdog got out in an impersonation of Mr. Peavey before delivering a blow to Buttercup that sent her skywards.
Underdog flew up after Buttercup and struck her with more blows, Buttercup throwing some back but Underdog was either able to block, dodge, or counter them. Underdog did his trademark sleeve roll up before giving a swift punch to Buttercup that sent her flying past her recovered sisters and hitting the ground hard, going head first into a wall.
Bubbles, after looking over at Buttercup on the ground a distance from her, looked back over at Underdog with an angry scowl on her face.
"Oh, hijo de puta! Voy a patear tu maldito trasero!" Bubbles shouted out, her fluency in Spanish on full display.
"I have no fucking clue what you just said, but my actions will speak for me instead!" Underdog replied as Bubbles flew at him, readying himself.
"Oh, you mother fucker! I'm gonna kick your mother fucking ass!" Bubbles translated, she and Underdog doing battle.
Like the battle with Buttercup, Underdog and Bubbles exchanged blows. Bubbles fared slightly better than Buttercup, able to block, dodge, or counter some of Underdog's best shots, though Underdog of course landed a good bit of his shots. Bubbles at one point channeled her inner hardcore, getting in some blows that Underdog couldn't defend, finishing up with a very hard uppercut that sent Underdog skywards before hitting the ground very hard.
"Come on, pendejo, is that all you fucking got?!" Bubbles asked as she hovered in the air.
Just a fraction of a second later, Underdog zoomed right back in and delivered more hard punches and kicks to Bubbles, blows that were too fast even for Bubbles to dodge or counter. Bubbles did manage to land one blow, which Underdog retaliated right back and gave her a further beatdown. To finish off, Underdog grabbed Bubbles by her pigtails and spun her at a high rate of speed, tossing her back towards Blossom and Buttercup with her hitting and sliding along the ground very hard.
Blossom, after seeing Bubbles down and out for that moment, looked back at Underdog with an angry scowl on her face.
"All right, you punk mother fucker! Hope Bubbles and Buttercup haven't worn you out too much, because I am going to. Fucking. Beat. The. Living. Dogshit. Out. Of. You!" Blossom declared, emphasizing those last few words, flying towards Underdog.
"Come fuck around and find out because in the end, you'll suffer the same result as your two bitch friends!" Underdog declared right back.
"They're my sisters, you fucking prick!" Blossom got out as she and Underdog engaged.
In the meantime, back in the octagon area where the jewelry sat, with Mojo still trying to recover from the blow that Bubbles gave to him, left Simon and Cad, who recovered from Mojo's previous beatdown, with nothing standing in between them and the jewelry. Simon and Cad casually jogged up the staircase with Cad grabbing the laser gun and handing it to Simon so he could continue penetrating the bulletproof glass. They had gotten through five of the seven layers, Simon having to resist the urge to put the laser gun into overdrive and risk a huge malfunction. Cad looked back occasionally in case anyone would intervene, using the hurry up hand signal not to tell his boss to hurry up, but just wishing they could leave before anyone could intervene. However, Mojo eventually got back on his own two feet and looked up towards Simon and Cad, making a sprint up the staircase towards them.
"Oh no you fucking don't, mother fuckers! That jewelry is fucking mine! MINE!" Mojo shouted out as he reached into his backpack to grab a pair of nunchucks, once again battling Simon and Cad.
Simon and Cad were both able to dodge the first few strikes, even getting in a few counter blows. Mojo eventually was able to land blows with his nunchucks, getting the upper hand on the two Capitol City villains even against his numbers disadvantage. Mojo was able to overcome any attempts at a double team as his nunchucks hit much harder, eventually getting Simon and Cad down again at the bottom of the staircase.
With Simon and Cad incapacitated, Mojo once again ran up the staircase and to the pedestal, resuming his penetration of the bulletproof glass, only one more layer to get through before the jewelry was in his hands. Mojo's heart was beating a bit fast as he knew he was getting close, but Cad, almost out of nowhere, slammed Mojo's face very violently into the bulletproof glass, the Townsville villain tumbling down the staircase. Simon had to jump over Mojo as Mojo was rolling down the stairs, making a mad dash up to join his assistant. Mojo took a few moments to recover, grabbing his nunchucks and running back up after Simon and Cad, the three villains continuing battle.
Shifting gears back to the other secluded pit, Underdog and Blossom were engaged in a back and forth, seesaw battle. Blossom, being the leader of the Powerpuff Girls, fared better than Bubbles and Buttercup did against Underdog, but of course Underdog fought Blossom admirably. Neither side could gain a definitive advantage until Blossom, at one point, used her ice breath power on Underdog, freezing him in his tracks and delivering hard blows that Underdog could not defend. Underdog did get to the point to where he could fight back, but Blossom was easily able to block or dodge some of his best shots and countered with blows of her own. Blossom finished off Underdog by delivering lightning kicks a la Chun-Li, one final kick sending Underdog flying a distance again and hitting the ground hard.
"So shitface, you give up, or are you thirsty for more?" Blossom asked Underdog, casually walking over to him.
But before Blossom could even stand over Underdog, Underdog delivered a very swift kick that sent Blossom skywards.
"Does. This. Answer. Your. Fucking. Question?!" Underdog got out, landing punches and kicks in between his words.
Blossom fought back of course, but it was Underdog who had the upper hand at that point. For every punch or kick that Blossom landed, Underdog doubled or even tripled back. Underdog reached into his bag of tricks and used an attack he called The Death Knell. He charged up both of his fists to a point that it would become a supercharged punch. Blossom was very dazed and didn't see Underdog powering it up, though she eventually shook off her dazed state just as Underdog's attack was fully charged. Underdog swung a massive haymaker towards Blossom, but Blossom ducked the huge punch at the very last moment. However, Underdog's swing conjured up a transparent force of wind behind the punch, the wind coming back around and striking Blossom and sending her hurtling towards Bubbles and Buttercup and landing near them. Bubbles and Buttercup walked over to console their sister.
"Blossom! Are you okay?" Buttercup asked Blossom, Blossom getting back on her feet and nodding.
"Yeah, I'm fine, girls. This guy is one of our most formidable opponents, but we're The Powerpuff Girls!" Blossom answered. "The three of us together can take care of this fucking bastard in no time!"
"Damnit, Blossom, you're right!" Bubbles agreed.
"Well, enough fucking around then! Let's wipe the fucking floor with this sack of shit then get back to Mojo!" Buttercup said as all three girls went on the attack.
"You can send a fucking army for all I care. I'll still leave you bitches worse for wear!" Underdog declared.
All three Powerpuff Girls engaged with Underdog. For a little bit, Underdog was able to overcome the numbers disadvantage against Townsville's heroines, but due to the many fights the Powerpuff Girls had together over the years, they were eventually able to overwhelm Underdog and get in a triple team assault. Underdog was unable to counter or dodge any blows that Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup were throwing at him collectively, giving Capitol City's hero arguably the worst beatdown he ever received. The girls were coming at him from every which way, Underdog's normally lightning fast reflexes no match for the teamwork that the girls displayed.
To finish, the girls used a modified version of their Acrobattack. Buttercup started by doing fast cartwheels and launching Underdog into the air with a double kick. Bubbles flew up towards Underdog and caught his legs, rotating him towards her and kicking him back down with a double kick towards Blossom. Blossom finished by waiting until Underdog was in her range. Then she gave Underdog a jumping spinning roundhouse kick, sending Underdog flying away and taking an extremely nasty spill.
"Yeah! Now stay your ass the fuck down, asshole!" Blossom suggested to Underdog, who was stumbling back to his own two feet.
"Yeah! You're gonna fucking lose!" Bubbles added.
"You don't know who you're fucking with!" Buttercup also added.
"For the many times I've heard those I'd be swimming in riches. Now let's see you try to stop this, bitches!" Underdog declared.
"Okay, don't say we didn't warn you!" Blossom said as the three girls flew towards Underdog.
Underdog deployed a tactic he once used to defeat Simon Bar Sinister and his Weather Machine – by going invisible. He spun at a high rate of speed, vanishing out of thin air, the girls eventually losing sight of him. The girls frantically looked around for him, but he was nowhere to be found.
"Damnit, where'd he go?!" Bubbles shouted out before all three girls received blows out of nowhere.
The invisible Underdog attacked the girls. With no way to see where the blows were coming from, the girls were totally defenseless, Underdog getting in fast and hard blows for several minutes that the girls had no chance in defending or countering. The girls tried to retaliate by swinging in the directions that they thought the blows were coming from, but they were either swinging and missing badly or, even a few times, creating friendly fire and hitting each other inadvertently. The Townsville heroines were given arguably their worst beatdown singlehandedly by Capitol City's Champion of Champions, Underdog coming at them every which way just like they did to him.
To finish, Underdog used a power of his called The Tilt. The invisible Underdog grabbed Blossom and infused something into her then threw her towards Bubbles and Buttercup. Bubbles and Buttercup ducked Blossom flying towards them, but Blossom began ricocheting off the walls like a ping pong ball before she crashed hard into Buttercup. Buttercup, however, also began ricocheting off the walls with Blossom before they both crashed hard into Bubbles, who then joined in on the ricocheting. For a good two to three minutes, the Powerpuff Girls were bouncing off walls at fast speeds, eventually coming to a halt by crashing hard into each other in the middle, plummeting hard into the ground.
"Now I suggest you three bitches stay the fuck down. It is you who will lose this bout!" Underdog demanded, still invisible. "You should ask yourselves who YOU'RE fucking with. I just proved that you three ain't shit!"
It could not be seen from the naked eye, but Underdog casually walked over to the downed girls. Though unbeknownst to Underdog, Bubbles was playing a bit of possum in her groggy state, using a power of hers to unveil Underdog's whereabouts. She was able to see the silhouette of Underdog just casually walking towards her and the girls. When Underdog got close enough, Bubbles delivered a swift kick that sent Underdog flying backwards, exposing him and disabling his invisibility.
"Haha, gotcha, you fucking shit!" Bubbles said triumphantly as Blossom and Buttercup got back up to join their sister.
"Fucking A! Good work, Bubbles!" Blossom said, she and Buttercup high fiving their blonde sister.
"You just don't know when to fucking quit, do you, fuckface?" Buttercup asked Underdog as Underdog was getting back up.
"Quit is not a word in my dictionary. I'll just pop you bitches like a fucking cherry!" Underdog responded.
"Fine with us! We'll make your ass quit then! Just don't expect mercy!" Blossom declared before The Powerpuff Girls and Underdog locked horns again, their battle continuing.
Going back to the jewelry room at the top of the Temple of Reckoning, Mojo Jojo was still engrossed in a two-on-one clash with Simon Bar Sinister and Cad Lackey. The villains were going very much back and forth even with Simon and Cad having the numbers in their favor. Six of the seven layers of bulletproof glass were penetrated, and neither set of villains could get a good separation point in their battle to retrieve the jewelry. Mojo, armed with his nunchucks still, displayed fine handling with the Japanese weapons as he fought Simon and Cad. Simon and Cad were able to get in quite a few individual and collective shots on Mojo, but Mojo still fended them both off.
Mojo got an opening after a few minutes, running up the staircase and to the pedestal to go after the jewelry. Simon started to run up after him, but Cad grabbed his boss and held him back. Cad reached into his backpack and grabbed several of another Japanese weapon, the shuriken.
"Watch out, boss!" Cad told Simon.
Cad patiently waited for a good moment to throw the weapons, aiming them to ensure they would hit Mojo at his weakest points. Just as Mojo was penetrating the seventh and final layer of the bulletproof glass, Cad threw the shurikens with excellent precision, two of the ninja stars striking Mojo's arms while two others hit him on his ankles, still two others hitting him in both of his buttocks. That was more than enough to send Mojo tumbling down the staircase, Simon and Cad at the bottom awaiting to pounce.
Despite having blood coming out from his arms, feet, and rear end, Mojo did an excellent job at fighting off Simon and Cad. But over time, the numbers game finally got the best of Mojo, even moreso with him starting to lose quite a bit of blood. Simon and Cad were getting in easy, undefended individual and collective shots with Mojo virtually defenseless. The Capitol City villains got to the point to where they incapacitated Mojo long enough to have free rein to go after the jewelry.
"Nooooooooooo!" Mojo shouted out, struggling to get back up to go after Simon and Cad.
Simon and Cad both ran up the staircase with Simon's laser gun in hand, using it to penetrate the seventh and final layer of the bulletproof glass. Simon easily tossed the remnants of the glass off to the side and grabbed the Forbidden Necklace and the Bracelets of Despair, massive overjoyment on his and Cad's faces.
"Yes! Yes! A fucking trillion times fuck yes!" Simon said triumphantly. "The jewelry is all ours, Cad! I can't fucking believe it!"
"That's what I'm fucking talking about, boss!" Cad said, fistbumping Simon. "Unbelievable? Believe it!"
"ONE DAY!" Simon and Cad said in unison, bringing up their two motivational words that they shared with Riff Raff.
Their slight jubilation was short lived as they both heard and felt a large rumbling from where they were standing. On the bottom of the staircase, a massive hole opened up from all sides, stones on the ground flipping and falling downwards and eventually revealing a pitch black pit circling the area. Mojo was still down on the ground, though the area he lay in didn't open up. On Simon and Cad's left, another staircase revealed itself with a door at the top appearing, signaling the way out.
Simon and Cad casually walked down the staircase towards Mojo, Simon securing the jewelry in his backpack. Mojo attempted to launch a counterattack on Simon and Cad, but Simon alone was easily able to subdue Mojo by giving him a few hard strikes and throwing him towards the dark pit. Mojo, however, hung on for dear life with both of his hands, Simon powerwalking over to him to finish him off.
"WAIT! PLEASE!" Mojo pleaded, Simon getting in an evil and cocky laugh.
"All right, asshole. I'll allow you one, just ONE fucking chance to tell me why I should not send you to your fucking demise right now!" Simon said to Mojo as Cad walked over to join his boss.
"Good! Then listen to me! You and your assistant kicked my ass, I'll admit that! You both are superior to me! But we no longer have to fight! I hereby propose that we join forces, and by joining forces, using our collective evil intentions in harmony with one another!" Mojo further pleaded. "We are both on the same side of evil, and being that we are on the same side of evil, with the same aspirations of ruling the planet, we both could share and bask in the glory of world domination, 50/50, down the middle, you and me, co-dictators of the world! Just think, as we both call the shots here on this planet, the only planet known to support life, no one will stop us! Now we obviously have adversaries that prevent us time and time again from gaining total control, but with you and me, two evil geniuses, together, in conjunction, and as one evil force, we, with the aid of the Forbidden Necklace and the Bracelets of Despair, can crush our opposition, ridding ourselves of our obstacles once and for all and thus rule the world with an iron fist! Now just help me out of here, and we can immediately use our collective…."
"Jesus Christ, shut the fuck up, will you?!" Simon shouted out, interrupting Mojo as he rubbed his chin. "You do bring up a very interesting proposition, and I am very intrigued by your proposal. What say you, Cad?" Simon then asked Cad.
"I say if he hadn't gotten in our fucking way and just let us get the jewelry without a single punch thrown, maybe we'd let him ride with us, boss." Cad answered. "But since he didn't, he's gotta go."
"Well, I've got a confession to make to you both. I didn't even give any of that bullshit any thought just now!" Simon revealed before he looked back at Mojo. "This fucking world only has room for one ruler. So your services are of no use to me! Simon says….to hell with you!" Simon added before he jumped up and violently stomped on Mojo's fingers, Mojo eventually losing his grip and falling into the dark pit below.
"Currrrrrrrrrrrrrseeeeeeeeeees!" Mojo shouted out as he fell deep into the abyss, Cad conjuring up spit and spitting it down the abyss as well.
"And take that shit with you, loser!" Cad shouted down towards the pit.
"And that's that. Now Cad, Simon says….to hell with this place! Let's leave before Underdog comes back!" Simon said, the sounds of the battle between The Powerpuff Girls and Underdog very well evident in the other pit.
"Shit, where the fuck is Underdog anyway, boss?" Cad wondered.
"Cad, who gives a shit?!" Simon answered as he and Cad began walking up the staircase towards the pedestal where the jewelry once sat. "We got what we came here for! Let's fucking go!"
Simon and Cad then walked up the newly created staircase towards the new door, opening it up. But as they opened up the door, a huge rush of rodents, mainly rats and mice, came out, spooking Simon and Cad.
"Shit!" Simon said, he and Cad jumping as they were heavily startled, trying to dodge the rush of rodents coming out.
Simon and Cad eventually made a mad dash out of the door, having to go through a massive barrage of rodents as well as thick cobwebs with insects and arachnids inside, one very large tarantula just inches from crawling up Simon's leg, which spooked him as well. One final obstacle was when a giant rat fell in front of them both, stopping Simon and Cad in their tracks and spooking them both.
"Oh shit!" Simon and Cad shouted out in unison.
Cad pointed towards an opening to the right of the giant rat, both villains going through it without hesitation. They walked right through another door, which led them to the roof of the Temple of Reckoning. There was a slide off to their left that led to the bottom of the temple, and the temple's eleven layers would be a non factor. Simon and Cad went down the slide, the two villains even letting out a blissful "Whee" sound as the slide snaked in and out of the temple with many twists and turns. They eventually got to the bottom in about three minutes, ending up at the middle of the temple.
After taking a minute or two to catch their breaths, the Capitol City villains high fived each other and even danced a bit, having gone through an arduous and hellish battle all throughout.
"We fucking did it, boss!" Cad joyously said.
"Yes, we fucking did, Cad!" Simon joyously said as well. "This is the genesis of my world domination plans! The hard part is over, my friend! We now return to Capitol City and find three lovely females who will put on these lovely bracelets so that we can finally dictate this fucking planet!" Simon added with an evil laugh afterwards.
"Fuck, you know what, boss? I'm sure glad Riff Raff talked you out of quitting. Or else that monkeyspank in there would've been ruling the world." Cad mentioned.
"Yes, Cad, remind me to thank Riff, our ol' buddy." Simon said. "But we must now refocus. The hard part may be done, but our work is far from over, Cad. There's so much work to do, so little time to do it. Simon says….move it!" Simon added.
Simon and Cad made the very lengthy walk over to the left side of the Temple of Reckoning and got in their boat, immediately departing the temple and beginning their lengthy celebration after the successful power jewelry heist.
