He and Billy followed the stranger in the Frankenstein's Monster costume into a field on the edge of town, and the pair of them ducked behind what looked like a leafless bush before the stranger could actually catch sight of them. Narrowing his eyes as he had an idea, Tommy started to take off his costume.
"What are you doing, Tommy?" Billy whispered, turning back to him as the pair of them crouched behind the leafless bush they'd taken shelter in to block a casual, backward glance.
"I'm going to get closer," Tommy said, narrowing his eyes as he concentrated on the wolf morph he'd acquired long before he'd met up with any of the Power Rangers.
"Tommy-!"
(What is it, Billy?) he asked, once he was enough of a wolf to be able to use thought-speak.
"Iā¦suppose I had managed to forget the nature of your capabilities," Billy said, adjusting his glasses in that way he seemed to do when he was nervous.
(I guess you did,) he said, offering Billy a nod, before he set off after their current person or creature of interest at a steady, ground-covering lope.
