Chapter 34: Oogie Boogie
I heard about the new Kingdom Hearts/101 Dalmatian crossover. I still take pride in being the one to start this concept.
Stone and his team were still handling the Heartless as the trio ran by with the heart.
Sora: STONE, STOP THEM! THEY GOT THE HEART!
Stone set his MK II Paladin to stun and fired at the trio. The trio jumped into a bathtub and it ran off.
Donald: Was that a bathtub?
Sora: Come on! They're getting away!
Everyone ran after the trio as they headed out of town. They soon arrived at a creepy looking treehouse. Sora and Hawk Squadron looked at Jack who knew who was really behind this.
Jack: I knew Oogie Boogie was behind this. Follow me, I know a way into his lair.
While Jack lead the heroes to Oogie Boogie's lair, the trio were sending their master the heart.
Trio: (Readying to throw it down a chute) 1… 2… 3!
They threw it down the chute and it arrived in Oogie's grasp just as the heroes came via a back door.
Dolly: That's Oogie Boogie? He doesn't look so tough.
Sparky said they could take him.
Jack: Oogie, give me back the heart!
Oogie: You want it? Well, then come on over and get it!
To everyone's surprise, and slight disgust, Oogie swallowed it whole.
Dolly: (Lowering Yubashiri) There goes a good night sleep.
Goofy and Sparky agreed with Dolly while Donald threw up his lunch.
Oogie: Now, let's fight.
Oogie stomped on a button as the group was poured into a giant spooky roulette wheel. Each one separated into a section: Sora and Jack, Dolly and Goofy, and Donald, Stone, and Sparky. Oogie then brought out some dice.
Oogie: (Starting to roll his dice) Here we go!
Oogie's dice landed on 3-2 and suddenly buzzsaw blades were fired at the heroes. Everyone managed to evade them and Dolly accidentally pressed a button and raised her and Goofy's platform to Oogie as iron gates blocked his means of escape.
Dolly: (As she and Goofy jumped at him) Bow-Whacka-Wow!
Dolly and Goofy swung their weapons and unleashed attack after attack on Oogie until he hit another button knocking them back into their section.
Oogie: Let's play again.
Oogie rolled his dice again and it landed on 3-3 and slot machines with guns came out.
Oogie: Fire!
They started shooting at the heroes but missed every shot. Stone stepped button Dolly stepped on and his party were raised to Oogie. They attacked Oogie and left him weaker than before. Oogie hit a button and the trio were sent back to the roulette.
Oogie: I'm not beat yet.
Oogie threw the dices but he got 1-1.
Oogie: WHAT?! SNAKE EYES?!
Suddenly, Wright Knights appeared and attacked the heroes. Sora swung Wishing Star at one and destroyed it, inadvertently stepping on the button.
Oogie: (As they were raised to him) Wait, can we talk about this?
Sora and Jack eyed each other and immediately whacked Oogie to the ground. All the damage done caused Oogie's body to split open and millions of bugs to pour out of him. Dolly saw one tried to run away and stabbed it with Yubashiri. The Doctor's heart laid in the bag.
Jack: So the heart was a failure after all.
Everyone decided to leave. As they left the room, Dolly found a Jack O'Lantern trick-or-treat bag. She decided to take it as a souvenir. As they started to leave, the whole treehouse started to shake and, from the darkness, Oogie fused with the structure itself.
Stone: (Readying MK II Paladin rifle) Sir…
Sora: (Spotting a Dark Spot on the head) That's what we have to destroy. Stone, stay behind with Sparky and give us covering us.
Sparky jumped into the rifle and he started firing. Sora and the others ran up and started climbing Oogie. They were hoping to have a easy time when trouble came. Like White Bloods in a human, Wright Knights came to destroy them. Donald and Goofy charged at the Heartless to let the others keep climbing. Running pass them, Sora and company closed in as Oogie saw them and launched fireballs at them from a lantern he was holding. Dolly jumped in front of Sora and sliced them.
Jack: We got to destroy that Dark Spot!
Sora rushed pass Dolly and went for the spot. Oogie threw a fireball at Sora but Jack threw Dolly to protect him. Sora slammed Wishing Star at the spot and destroyed. Without his source of power, Oogie started to collapse. Everyone jumped for it and landed safely to the ground.
Donald: (As Sora got up) That wasn't pleasant.
Suddenly, the Keyhole shined from where the structure was and Sora used the Keyblade to seal it. Going back to the manor, Jack felt very ashamed.
Jack: Sally, why didn't I lesson to you and Goofy. I'm sorry.
Goofy: Aw, it's okay Jack. You were just trying to do your job.
Sally: Goofy's right. There's still time to consider something.
Wishing Star suddenly disappeared. Knowing the drill, Sora summoned the Keyblade and it was different. The blade was black steel with a bat as the teeth, the handle guards were bat wings, and a Jack O'Lantern was the keychain token. This was Pumpkinhead.
Donald: Whelp, we best be leaving.
Dolly: It was nice meeting you, Jack.
Jack smiled as his took their leave and left.
