Chapter 1: Enter the World of Tekken

Hours later at Brian's Noodle House where Jin just eat a bowl of noodle soup as Brian had arrived back to his noodle house after his work as a Taekwondo instructor. Hwoarang casually smirks on his rival.

"Kazama... you seem to have a clear mind or something or maybe you were just overworked."

"No, Hwoarang... I just sensed a fiery presence. According to Rei, he accidentally released someone from another game and luckily enough that Yoshimitsu just fought him for a time before Rei binds him with his charms and questioning him of who he is." Jin answered and revealing what happened to Rei as Brian noticed the accident.

"I guess don't know much about Final Fantasy and Rei is known to play that game. It is a popular RPG fantasy game that can fight villains with weapons and magic or sometimes the heroes can change jobs if they were involved in crystals. I'd say that Rei is playing the latest game which is "Final Fantasy XVI"."

"Final Fantasy?"

"I only played just one Final Fantasy game involves on magiteks and most characters had attained magic by acquiring the Magicite coming the from guardian forces who were known as espers and defeating the mad jester who had just became the God of Magic to destroy countless islands. I think this new game where humans can transform into guardian forces as their personal Eikons and defending their respective countries." Brian said knowing of the new game which Hwoarang makes a plan.

"I know... why don't we go back to our world and speak to them, Kazama. Perhaps, if that Rei guy needs you maybe we can meet that foreign guy he had meant."

"I must go to your world as well. Apparently, this foreign guy you mentioned must be the hero of Final Fantasy XVI and he can't be messed up with." Brian said decided to join with Jin and Hwoarang.

At Silveria Corporation, the time machine was currently fixed by lab scientists and being observed by Mariana. Both Clive and Yoshimitsu had watched in how they will fix it.

"So they were working on the time machine. It is indeed the modern technology." Clive said in a calm tone and Yoshimitsu replies.

"It happens to someone like you. Rei decided to let him tour in other places in the real world and once it was fixed, he was allowed to return back to his own home world. In your case, it will take time for you to come back to your home world."

With that, Rei arrives with Jin, Hwoarang and Brian who had visited the corporation and Clive senses Jin's powerful aura within him.

"This man... I feel his power within him. He looks like a worthy foe."

"So he was the one you were talking about, Rei. You were right about him, he was from a different world." Jin said and he sensed his power.

"He's a swordsman like Yoshimitsu. Hah... it was a piece of cake to take him out with my kicks." Hwoarang smiled only to be kicked in the butt by Brian.

"Hwoarang, stop being so excited. So this is the hero of this new game and he's from a medieval world, all right."

Rei uses the time machine that travels to the World of Tekken while driving his pick-up truck with both Yoshimitsu, Clive and Torgal are with him while Brian sits on Jin's motorcycle.

"I never rode this weird vehicles... we don't have one in my home world. We're just riding horses and stage coaches."

"Okay, Jin... you go first then we follow."

"All right... now let's go."

With that the two vehicles move through the portal as it disappears as it shows a wormhole that leads to the World of Tekken then afterwards, they arrived at the ruins of New York City where it reaches to its near recovery. They were greeted by Ling Xiaoyu, Asuka Kazama, Lili, Azucena Ortiz and Leroy Smith.

"Jin... I'm glad that you're back."

"What took you so long and Rei is with you." Asuka said and became shocked to see Rei's appearance and Rhima was right about him having facial beards.

"It seems that you're with this new foreigner and he looks strange in wearing these clothes and they are from ancient times." Leroy said pointing out on Clive's primary attire.

"I see... and this is where I ended up in this modern world."

"I told you it was the same as in the real world, Clive. Because you were the guest character from our game and that means you're one of us." Yoshimitsu said pointing out on others which Jin tells him.

"I guess that you're the one that I've sensed who had those flaming powers. You know me I really do love flames."

"Jin, but why did you come back here? Is something happened with you and Rhima-san?" Xiaoyu asked worriedly as Jin tells her calmly.

"Rhima-san and I were okay... she just went to the Asian Teacher's Conference which was held in Singapore. It was only a business trip and she allowed me to keep her condominium keys for safekeeping."

"Wow... she was incredible that she participates the conference." Xiaoyu said amusing over Rhima's job as a teacher for the conference.

Following the arrival, both Paul and Marshall arrive and he looks annoyed to see Brian's presence and he was the reason his Chinese food looks better than he is.

"Hey you... I heard a lot of people who hates spicy and my food it was not spicy at all. Looks like only you were giving more praise than I am."

"Your being complainant, I do this for food donations. We have reasons to be here because this foreign guy is one of you." Brian said pointing out about Clive as Paul smirks.

"Hmmm... he must be a fighter. I'd say Marshall... we better get ready for this guy he's talkin' a bout."

Soon, Jin decided to take Clive somewhere because he is now a guest from their game and requests Lili.

"Lili... is it okay if we ride your private jet, I'd like to spar with Clive at the Coliseum in Rome, Italy. The same place where the finals of the eighth tournament was held until being interrupted by both Lars' group and the UN to fight G Corporation and Kazuya.

"Okay then... I want to see how this guy can fight."

As the private jet flies away, Azucena was saddened to see them go and Leroy patted her that they will be fine.

At the coliseum, everyone knows it was in ruins due to Kazuya's True Devil Form was showing his devil powers before Claudio weakens him with the Spear of Kephalos. Xiaoyu remembers about what they had been through.

"It was so quiet... I remember when Zafina-san was passed out after she was extracted then I accompanied Jin at Yakushima with Asuka and Lili by taking the private jet to travel."

"So Jin... why do we come back into the Coliseum? We had nothing to face our opponents here. The tournament was already postponed." Asuka said scolding his relative and Jin confirms his reasons to be here.

"I know the tournament was postponed. I'd like to test Clive's fighting skills."

"What!?"

"He maybe from a different world, I can sense his powers not just his swordplay." Jin said confirming of Clive's powers which Clive was surprised to challenge him.

"Are you challenging me to a fight?"

"Yes..." Jin smirked confirming his challenge to him as he states. "Our world is just like in the real world and as Yoshimitsu says, we're just modern people who trained in different kinds of martial arts by fighting to win at the King of the Iron Fist Tournaments. Just recently, my father Kazuya and G Corporation held here at the finals of the eighth tournament and was ended up in no contests because of both Yggdrasil and UN had infiltrated this place and that leads me to go back to my home island to regain my devil powers."

"You speak too much, Jin." Lee arrives alongside Leo, Niklas, Lars and Alisa who also came to see them and to see Clive's appearance. "This man looks flashy to face and I'm glad that you were here, Brian."

"Just for a visit, Lee. I guess that you came here to see a fight." Brian said nicely as Lars tells him.

"Not just their fight... We came here to study in how to fight this guy."

"Me too... Jin has reasons to face him." Alisa said who also wanted to study in how to fight Clive.

"Father... seems like this guy is from medieval times." Leo commented about Clive's appearance which Niklas replies.

"You maybe right... and he's from a different medieval world. I guess Hunyo and his friends had already asking the head of Silveria Corporation to fix the time machine so that he will return back to his own world."

"Sheezh... why is everyone doing here in the middle of the coliseum?" Hwoarang complained angrily as Leroy, Azucena had arrived alongside Raven and Victor who accompanies them.

"Hola... I wanna watch how these two will fight."

"Jin... Don't lose on that guy. Everyone is here to give you full support. Because this man is a very strong opponent not just Kazuya and G Corporation." Leroy said giving him support as Victor noticed both Claudio and Zafina are present as well.

"Claudio... what a surprise to see you. I thought you were dead." Victor said in his French language and Claudio replies.

"I barely survived from the laser blast of Kazuya's true devil form. And currently Zafina and I just came back after taking a trip to Cairo. Hmmm, If Jin sensed this guy's power then so am I."

"This man is a hero from a different world." Zafina commented.

"I maybe hate rich people and I wanted to face that fellow Chinese man." Marshall arrives alongside Paul, Steve, King II and Shaheen and they wanted to watch how both Jin and Clive to fight.

"Take it easy, Marshall... you'll face him later if we need to learn how to strategize to beat this guy in a large sword."

"Paul was right... I'm sure that I wanted to test my boxing skills on this guy too."

"So we're going to be spectators, huh." Shaheen wondered to King II.

"Yes, indeed... I wanted to face him as well. So I wanted to show to Rolento and Ibrahim how to face this guy in a real lucha libre." King II smiled happily as he roars like a jaguar. Clive sees King II speaking to Shaheen when they decided to watch them fight.

"Half-man, half-coeurl... and all the trouble. But he can speak to humans."

"King II is a luchador or perhaps a professional wrestler who fights in the wrestling ring." Jin corrects him which Clive was surprised and telling him about the coeurl.

"...A wrestler. Mask or no, I sensed that he has a bite of a coeurl. A coeurl is a different kind of a fox at my home world."

"Hi, Jin-senpai... I knew that you were present to face him." Reina appears to see them both and intrigues over Clive's appearance and outfit. "Well oh well... This guy is pretty good on cosplay and he was a high quality. I like it!"

"What the hell is... "cosplay"?" Clive questions about the meaning of cosplay which Jin tells him while putting a face palm on Reina's behavior.

"Cosplay is where people are wearing any costumes whether in anime or in video games in different medias. She thinks that you were perfectly cosplaying since you were from your home game in Final Fantasy."

"Hmmm... I don't know what you mean but perhaps, Harpocrates needs to know more about this "cosplay" once I returned to my home world in Valisthea." Clive said who decided to tell Harpocrates about cosplay once he returns to his world as Reina evilly whispers on Jin.

"Please... go beat him down, Jin-senpai... Rhima-san will be proud of you and I wanted to see how he played perfectly in a cosplay."

"You can't be serious, Reina and enough of the "senpai" talk and I need to focus to fight Clive." Jin said coldly only for Reina to goose his butt, much to his annoyance. "Hey! Reina!"

"Oops... sorry Jin-senpai... I would expect that you're sensitive if I goosed your ass. Rhima-san will be laughing so hard after I did and I won't say during our fight in the Asian B-Block preliminaries that your nuts doesn't break if your opponent attempts to fry your bottom." Reina said giggling in an evil manner causing Jin to yell at her annoyingly.

"Reina! Don't say something about my thing! Xiaoyu and my friends and family are present to hear what you awfully say!"

Hwoarang laughs at his rival's sensitivity and annoyance and to Xiaoyu's embarrassment. Rei and Brian actually knows how Jin was extremely sensitive when it comes to him personally.

"Stop taunting him further, Reina." Lidia Sobieska arrives alongside Eddy Gordo and she tries to stop Reina from taunting Jin further which she evilly smirks to see them.

"Mine as well to shut up for a while... I will watch how this guy to cosplay perfectly."

"Don't worry about this lady, Jin. Just focus on facing that guy. Lidia and I will rooting for you!" Eddy shouts at Jin to support him in his Brazilian language.

As most Tekken fighters are present in the coliseum to watch the fight between Jin and Clive with the exception of Nina, Jun, Kazuya, Bryan Fury, Feng Wei, Sergei Dragunov, Kuma II and Heihachi. Both men are focus to face each other in battle. Clive finally gets his sword Invictus from his sheath and faces Jin.

"So you really wanna fight me... then let's do this."

"This power that I currently have. I used this to seek my atonement and redemption." Jin raises his right fist with a single red and black wing while Clive finally shows the flames in his left fist and he states.

"And I... for hope!"

Clive shows the left wing of the Phoenix upon showing his powers as a Dominant, which surprises everyone about Clive's powers.

"He has the wing of the Phoenix. Rei you know about this?" Brian asked as Rei tells him.

"Looks like he's gonna demonstrate his real powers as the Dominant."

With that, both men disperse their respective powers as they go on their fighting stance and their fight begins.

Trivia:

*Jin's reason of fighting Clive at the coliseum which refers about the Phoenix Gate stage.

*Almost all of the Tekken characters except, Nina, Jack-8, Bryan, Jun, Kazuya, Kuma II, Dragunov, Feng and Heihachi are present to serve as spectators in the Coliseum in Rome.

*Both Brian and Rei are the only The Strangest Things original characters to appear because they are known to play different Final Fantasy games aside playing Tekken games.

*Jin, King II and Reina are referencing their special interactions with Clive in their game.

*Marshall Law begins his rivalry with Brian Navarro due to many compliments of his good Chinese food which is why he wanted to face him in a real fight but was stopped by Paul.
